Unique and fun. Hello world, and welcome to my review. I love the Bloons franchise, and this might be my favorite game from it (Behind BTD5) I highly recommend this game to anyone because of it's unlimited fun. There are maps to unlock, metals to recover, and lots of fun in store. There are eight unique towers in the game, and each of them is unique in a way. I don't want to spoil too much, so I hope, if you've read this far, to play the game.

Would be great but.... For the little while that I get to play BTD it's really fun! But then the screen goes black. And it stays that way. No matter what I do, unless I uninstall and reinstall the app, there is no way to interact with the game. Pretty much worthless unless that is fixed.

Great game but few questions. This is a cool game but what is the point Of the racing pack? When I tried to play It the balloons were going to fast and was too hard. Also how do you unlock the other packs? I can't figure it out

Outdated. Pretty fun game but there's so many bloons td games out there not this one is just so old now

One issue. The game crashes sometimes and twice the game reset its self in the process so I lost all my progress on two occasions. I am hesitant to make progress a third time. Bloons TD is a good game, however the risk of losing all progress while playing may not be worth it.

Great, but has glitches. Well the first round was way cool and easy to play. After I made it to level 50, went on to free play and such (all on my first round of downloading the game), I finally lost. No worries, let's play a different map. Now the balloons are moving at 1000mph, and it's impossible to get past round 10, let alone win any level now. Don't buy it. Cust support didn't offer any help either. Just blamed it on my phone instead.

Isaiah Williams. It's a fun game I really like playing, but right now I'm on wave 124 and it refuses to finish the round without closing. It's really frustrating since I spent a penny on this game, it should be free unless this problem gets fixed!

My Review. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO READS REVIEWS BEFORE THEY BUY A GAME, READ THIS REVIEW! Bloons Tower Defense is a great, great game, but needs a few tweaks. If You have played BTD4, and BTD5 you are sure to know that there is a fast forward button. BTD doesn't have that. That in my opinion is the biggest tweak nesscesary. They should also add ranks like in BTD4, and BTD5. Ranks are where you level up by popping certain amounts of bloons, and unlocking new towers. Also, there is NOT a large selection of towers to choose from. In my opinion this is a 5 star game, but people are entitled to their own opinion. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS!

??. How come I can only get to wave 50 then it makes me quit

Earased data TWICE. I've been playing for several hours, trying to beat some of the snow maps. Then everything starts lagging and next thing I know the app closes and restarts EVERYTHING. No medals, nothing unlocked, all rounds at 0. This happened twice and really made me mad because the second time I had just gotten to level 100 on hard on one of the river maps. 1/5 don't waste your time.

Fixes please. Can you make more compatible for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 7

Still a great game... but still one bug. I still play this even though most of my time is now spent on BTD5. I just noticed though that there is a bug where on the Drop & Lock option even the road spikes have to be confirmed. I know this was a problem in BTD5 and it was fixed pretty quick so I'm hoping you guys will fix this one as well. Even if you don't fix, it's still a great game, totally worth the price.

Read before you buy. This game is great, here are some reasons why you should buy this over btd 4 or btd 5. .1 this is not the first game, it is the third game with more stuff. .2 this game has a challenge. 4 and 5 were to easy. 3. Btd 5 and 4 had way to many bloons making it hard to develop strategy. 4. All the towers here are already unlocked and you do not have to earn it unlike btd 5 and 4. 5. I have played them all and I like this better. You have no ideas on what's going on in 4 and 5. Buy this game

really now???. At first I was really into this game all until it started to close down on me randomly. So I would just have to reopen the game and resume where I was at. Unfortunately it kicked me off so much that it decieded to delete all my previous game winnings. Nothing was saved. So I say what a waste that I spent money on a faulty game. Don't buy this game.

Broken. I absolutely love the Bloons TD games, which is why I bought this one in spite of reviews complaining that it's broken. Unfortunately the other reviews are correct in that the current version of the game is severely flawed. Regularly while playing the game crashes and upon relaunch it only displays a black screen. Even after closing all open processes and even restarting my phone completely, the game remains a black screen unless uninstalled and reinstalled, which causes me to lose all progress I've made in the game. Please keep in mind that my phone is brand new and entirely up to date so it can't be an error on my end. I would avoid buying this game. They clearly have no interest in updating beyond this bugged version (it was last updated in 2012) so save your money and just play the free flash version on their website from a computer.

Too easy. I have literally 60 super monkeys, I'm on wave 90 and I can't even place anything else cuz it's filled up with fully upgraded super monkeys so all I'm doing is setting here pushing the start button over and over, but other than that it's great, yes u should buy it

DO NOT BUY THIS. Game controls for iphone are horrible. Buttons are right next to the navigation screen pulldown, causing it to constantly interfere. After playing for a long time, the game crashed and all my progress was erased. Do not waste your time. You've been warned. I'm getting a refund for this garbage.

i luv dis game!!. i luv bloons TD but u should update it to like bloons TD 4 and it would look mad to get sungod and other stuff in Bloons TD 4 on iphone/itouch. bloons 3 is too easy but Bloons TD 4 is really interesting its much for harder then 3 :D

Best App Available!. I recommend this app to everyone who owns an iPhone/ iPod touch. It is much like the pc version, but with a few tweaks to enhance for iPod. The app has never crashed for me and the fact that you can play your own music in game is awesome. My favourite Internet game is now portable, I reccomend you try it for yourself. It will not disappoint! :)

great game BUT it keeps freezing...... really like this game and have found it more and more addictive to play but now it keeps freezing and i really can't play it anymore because my patience has run out. worked fine the first time i played it but it seems the more action going on on the screen the more it freezes.

Best tower defence game. Even though Geodefence is fun, it's ridiculously hard. Bloons TD is by far the most fun. It's simple to use but the buttons are really close together and sometimes gets mixed up. 5*

Amazing, very impressive. I am suprised what an outcome this game is. The interface is basically spot on, and the graphics are fantastic, however there are minor issues in the game: 1. Being able to place the tower above 2. Whenever trying to choose a tower, it sometimes makes me choose a wrong one, and while in a rush, you accidently tick it 3. A tutorial may be useful 4. The play button being awfully close to the pause button, very annoying Beside that, excellent game, very proud of the producers :)

Wicked awesome. It was so fun, after it got past level 30 it started to get hard. Upgrade ererything that is the way to go, super monkeys rock get plasma vision. I love this game I wunch was glued to the chair for 1hour playing bloons td. My hiyest score was bronze medal easy. It is defenatly worh the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great work. Well fine, this is a great version of the pc one. One suggestion on having user profiles so multiple users can play/ keep score. This would then make me give 5 stars.

Incredible. I'm up to lv 213, and for some reason people say I'm addicted, Just because I spend 3 hours on levels and have 600 million dollars.

Love it!!!. Love this game, so much fun just like the desktop version. My only suggestion is when placing towers have the tower slightly above where your finger is so you can see exactly where it is being placed, otherwise fantastic!!!

Bigger Buttons. I like this game, it's better than the pc version with more levels but the play and pause buttons are too small, please make them bigger. Great game buy it if you like the pc version or this style of tower defence game.

WWWOOOOWWW!!!!!!. This game is even better then the computer version they went out of their way to make this app even though sometimes it freezes it gets back to the game and its only about 4 seconds the freeze you get to unlock more tracks and can keep you playing for ages the only problem was my ipod getting hot from me playing it so much. This is why i use my ipod Great job

Great game, played it before it was available for iPhone. 1 annoying thing when you get to the 60+ levels and you need to use the monkey nuke, you'd obviously wait for the best time to use it and if you mis-click the super monkey the menu dissapears so by the time you trash it you've already lost.

Addictiing!!!!. This game is so fun in every way, you can build monkey towers and upgrade them every time and any time you want! I like how they added the plantation towers, to improve money gain. Its just fun and addicting, I spent hours playing it, all the maps are great fun and anyone at any age can play it! Hopefully they bring out a new Bloons TD game in the future. Best of luck!

Similar to "The Creeps". This game is amazing, but for $4, I'm not so sure. It is nearly exactly the same as "The Creeps", just it features bloons instead of monsters. Buy the Creeps, for $2.49, the creeps is the better deal.

Glitch.. Great game. But it has a glitch. After playing one game the next one makes all the balloons super fast no matter what level or map I am on. Have to delete it and re-download it to fix it but it happened again after on game.

Speed issues. This is a great game but ever since I've beaten round 119 it's stuffing up and the speed of the bloons are super quick. I even managed to let 1 slip on round 1. Apart from that it's an awesome game.

Not updated. This app was great but needs some love as it was not updated since 2012 and has many bugs now.

Okay. Well, I've been playing this on the computer and the lite version for iPod for a while, and I bought this yesterday. I was originally happy with such a wide variety of tracks. . . Until it crashed. . . I tried again and it kept crashing. Please fix this because this would be worth more than $3.99 if it worked. Thanks, Kurt

hmmm. I was looking forward to this game, but got bored after 1 game. Don't know whether it's just me who have played the PC version for too much before or this game is just not meant to be played three times or more in a row. Anyway, try the PC version (for free, google it) first if you're still unsure. It's a good game, though. Worth the current asking price (1.19) but not the old price (3.99) in my opinion. EDIT: please fix the pineapple trap in v 1.1. it's not working. Suggestion: more towers would be lovely. Also, when trying to place the tower on the map using our finger, the tower needs to be placed slightly higher than our finger for easier placement. Get rid of the bin when we want to undo building a tower - just make the tower icon disappear when we put it on red terrain. Tower icons (and traps) could be made bigger as our finger approaches them to make building towers easier (imagine mac's desktop icons, or whatever it's called, those that are located at the bottom of the screen).

Great game. I think that this is a great game and would definitely recommend it. But... it's so ANNOYING when you make a bad decision or something and die and you have to start ALL OVER AGAIN!!! Other than that, it's really great.

Great game. You guys made one of the best td game ever but you should ad those new upgrades on the towers and the new towers and maps and different mods (apocalypse and sandbox) and the ranking thing is pretty cool because then we will play the game more to get the stronger upgrades and monkey towers. Thnx

Tower contest?. It would be awsome to put btd4 towers in it, but even better would be for not only this but the online version had a contest were you would submit a tower and its upgrades, picture, etc. And the best 3 would be updated and in a new game. also a map creator and user made content.

An okay game. The game is great but when you get ip to the last 10 levels or so it takes like 5-10 minuets each round just to finish killing all the bloons so that's the only bad thing about this game but it is a good game overall.

Problems. The red bloons are moving so fast for some reason! The monkeys can't keep up with it, and every level you lose at least 5 bloons

DELICIOUS. Amazing game. Feels just like you're playing on the computer, but the game actually runs smoother and faster. You can create a special BTD3 music playlist through the options menu. Amazing game, you should buy it.

Needs to be on Game Center. After lots of struggling I finally managed to get all 25 Achievements for Bloons TD. It's a great game but it really needs to be on Game Center, because not many people use +Plus and OpenFeint anymore.

Very Addicting. This game is very fun, one of the best tower defense games in the App Store. Definitely worth that $3.00. One problem though, the game might crash once in a while, however the fact that it saves your progress as it goes along makes it irrelevant.

5 stars if.... I'd give this 5 stars if the tower icons were set up better. I don't have big fingers and too often I try to grab the tacks and I get the item above it, over and over again.

Bloons TD 4?. Ok this is deffinately one of my favourite apps and it was definately a good buy, but I miss all the new towers and upgrades from ninja kiwi's latest bloons game Bloons TD 4. If the App Store came out with a Bloons TD 4 app I would definately want it more than this.

Not a very good TD game. I have no idea how this game has scored so well. I've never played bloons but I have played about 15 tower defence games and this is likely the worst of the bunch. Little strategy, poor graphics/sound and barely adequate depth lead to a forgettable experience. I can only assume there are a lot of bloons fans out there who haven't sunk their teeth in a real td game. If you want to try a real td game try 7 cities or Sentinel. On the lighter side is Creeps. Or even better try Tap Defence. Great game and it's free.

Hands down, one of the best games for the iPod. Quite often, I buy a game, play with it for a little while and then forget about it. This is one of the few games that I always come back to, and play again and again. It feels really polished, and there's a lot of content (more maps than I can count.) Tons of towers provide a lot of strategy and choices. A fantastic app, I'd reccomend it to anyone.

I love it...but.... I love the game on my new iPhone 4! This game lags BAD on my iPhone 3G though. It NEEDS multitasking for 4.0 otherwise when u switch programs and switch back, it has to reopen and u need to start the level over again.

So amazing but........ I LUV this app!!! It is so much fun, and right now I'm on level 103 on easy and my whole board is filled with fully upgraded super monkeys. One problem though, when I try to put a lot of road spikes on, the game crashes and it doesn't load up again for like another week or two. That is what REALLY annoyes me. Other than that problem, this is one of the best games I have and I reccomend it to everyone.

Good, but sensitivity needs fix.. It's a great game, I won't lie, but if you have fat fingers like what others have mentioned it's very hard to tap on the spikes of something else without it thinking you're tapping on something else. There's also another problem with the touch thing, I try to tap on the spikes and it thinks I'm tapping on the super monkey, which is 3 buttons below the spikes. I don't think that has anything I do with fat fingers! Otherwise, the tower defence format is great and the game itself is immensely fun, just a few of the fixes and it will be great. Buy this game.

Raaaaawwwwwwrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!. I'm not happy with this game for one reason: THERE'RE ARE'NT ANY TOWERS OR UNGRADES OR MAPS OR ANYTHING FROM BTD4!!!!!! This will easily cream angry birds as the #1 app in the app store if u give it btd 4 things. My favorite tower of the btd saga is the mortar, which is from btd 4! At least add sandbox mode from btd 4. If this game was updated to btd 4, it would be a 5 star overall rating, hands down. You can count on my 3 stars staying the same unless btd 4 is added. I mean, by now, you'd think the developers would get the picture, after countless reviews repeating the same thing again and again and again!

Amazing. People should not be giving bad reviews because they don't have enough dexterity to press the buttons to select a tower. They can't make an update to make your fat fingers smaller. The only improvement I can think of would be quality settings as this game does eat up your battery a little quick. Even though I know it's a processor intensive game and also an addictive one you will spend a great ammount of time playing.

Pretty much perfect. I was thrilled when I saw this app, as BTD is my favorite online game. When I began to play it, I found it to be a lot like the internet game (but then how could they make it much different?). I really enjoy this game. Pros- -Lots of tracks that you can play on easy/med./hard -After you beat a track (by reaching level 50) you can continue playing until you die. -You can make a special in-game playlist off of your itunes and play your own music in-game -You can pause & save the game to come back to later Cons- -The buttons to add a new tower are very small, and I have often misplaced a tower. -It's $3. $1-2 would be a better price Overall this is a great game that I would reccomend to any tower defense game fans.

Let me suggest one thing that may save this game from annoyance. the idea to fix the problem of picking the wrong towers...PLEASe make it so instead of dragging the towers, be more like other td games where you click on the tower you want to buy, it becomes highlighted and simply tap where you would want it, if its on a part that is out of bounds, then have it rest there in the color red and then you can drag and drop into desired spot. MAKE SENSE RIGHT???

Help with glitches and MOAB and also more stuff. Ok people u notice how when u complete any track on any difficulty and when u go to play a different level the red bloons in the beginning r really fast? Then u must save and quit and leev the app completely at that point u can go back in and continue ur saved level. Also for those who r having trouble with the MOAB on level 33 or 36 or whatever. Start building a lot of cannon towers like ten five towards the entrance and the other five can go wherever u want them. But if u really want it to split faster then upgrade ur towers as much and as far as possible and when u finish killing the MOAB keep the rockets there. Don't even think about getting rid of them. Ok now, bloon td is a fenominal hit. Now make it a better hit. Here's what u all should do. Ok. First add all levels from bloon td 4 in this app Second. Add a complete new menu for accessing levels for bloon td 4 3rd. Keep the old maps from this current app but add a level pack that says bloon td 4 and accesses u to another menu. Lastly. Most importantly, KEEP ALL TOWERS FOR LEVELS FROM BLOON TD 4 AND KEEP THE RANKING UP SYSTEM AND FINALLY THE ACCESS TO CONNECT TO MOCHIGAMES. If any of this is too much trouble then just turn this entire app into bloon td 4 and keeping all the things u can do in bloon td 4. Ok. That's all Thanks  AHHHHH. RED BALLOONS!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Love this game. This game is great and I have loved the computer game ever since it came out. I'm very glad an app version was created for this game. I've wasted many hours playing this highly addictive game. The only flaw I have noticed is the small proximity of the buttons to each other on screen. This allows little room for error and often times you may press the wrong thing accidentally. I'd still give this app 5 stars because it is truly fun and a great way to waste some time. Now that it is only .99 I would definitely recommend purchasing this app.

Fab-tastic!. Beautifully crafted and true to the original web version! (Possibly even better than the web version) Be sure to change the "control system" to "drop 'n' lock" in the options menu, it makes it much easier to place the towers just where you want them. Plenty of various levels and easy, medium, or hard difficulty on all levels!

Finally!!!!. I've been waiting forever for this game to come to ipod. also, im glad i only got it for .99$. im not sure what it is though but the gameplay just isnt the same on this as the internet. i think it might be the money or something because i'm in lvl 135 and it takes forever to complete each lvl. usually on the internet I die somewhere around lvl 68. i'm not saying that it has to be changed, but there should at least be a fast forward button or something. either way this game is still great and i am impressed at how smoothly it runs.

Love it. I loved this game online, and I'm glad they kept all the original towers and maps. The buttons are a little on the small side and hard to select, but if you hold down on one for a moment, then it does pick up the right button. This is a very nice, polished game, and I like the additional maps you can try. I'm on round 101 and haven't lost a life yet! (the trick is to buy lots of cannons, then sell them one by one in replace for super monkeys). Great game! 

Great but not perfect. This game is spectacular, but crashes like crazy when you are past like level 80. There is too much for it to handle, and when I try to put down a monkey storm while it is playing, it crashes. Sometimes I lose because of it, which is not fair. Also, it is called "free play" after level 50, but u can still get a game over, so it is technically not free play. You should be able to continue, but there should be a limited amount of times u can do that. Also, the buttons stink on the menu cause I press right on it, but it doesn't do anything. Also, the buttons during gameplay are bad too. Fix those problems and this game will be five stars.

Awesome!. This app is great! It is a little boring after a while and frustrating when you get far, but lose on an extra hard wave. My suggestion to game developers would be to add a fast forward button because it takes up to 5 minutes for some waves and to make a save option while in the track. That way, you could save, then if you lose in the next level, just exit to the main menu and hit saved game and pick up on the level before you died the last time and try again.

Can't play. Seriously, I can't play it. It is full of bugs. Two that I have noticed: 1: even with thousands of hits, the lead balloons never pop. Not a single one would go down. Also, at some point when I play (every time) the game suddenly refuses to allow me to click the icons on the side, despite me having $1700 and all of them are illuminated. I used to love it, then the glitches ruined it for me. On easy, it is a physical impossibility for me to pass level 26, while before I was getting well beyond level 60 before just restarting voluntarily. Please fix this and I will rate this well, but so long as it fails to function properly, this app gets the single-star rating it deserves.

BEST app get it worth the $3!!!!. I love this app. BUT! I place all my towers at the beginning of the track, so if a bunch of bloons slip through my defences my last defence is to use road spikes. The problem is that it is hard to select the road spikes because they are so close to the pineapple and glue. I recommend that the app be changed so that the super monkey only be displayed when you have enough money. Likewise the special monkey storm shouldn't be displayed unless you have unlocked the ability. That way the button to select the road spikes will be bigger (because of the extra space) and I will never accidently select the glue and watch as the bloons slip by and I rapidly lose lives. If the creators of this game did this bloons td would be the best, most entertaining app EVER!!

Great game but.... This game is great but there is one problem and I lose every time because of it. When I try to get the spikes, half of the time it gives me the pinapple or the thing that slows down the baloons and then I always lose. On the next update it would be cool if you could zoom in and out for better placement of a tower or spikes etc and maybe make the buttons for a weapon a little bigger and more conveniant. Also the startup of the game is a little slow so please fix that to.

Be patient. I love the bloons tower defense series, and I couldn't help myself but buy this for boring school days. While I prefer BTD4 to this one, it's still really fun (except for the controls being a bit hard, drag and drop is great for spikes but not for towers, vice versa for drop and lock) and I enjoyed it plenty. Just wait, eventually it'll come out for BTD4, it's hard to convert to an entirely different script, as well as completely reorganizing the buying method (obviously the current one wouldn't fit all the new towers and upgrade paths). It's a must buy if you have 3 dollars to spare.

. This is great! :) i see a lot of reviews that say this is terrible and geodefense is ten times better, well its not. The bloons tower defense is amazing, so is the original bloons. I've been waiting for this app for quite some time, and its completly worth the three bucks. Geodefense is good. But you cant play geodefense on a mac or pc. So this is wayyyyyyyyYYYYYYyYYyyyyyyyyyyyyYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy better! It does begin to crash when you get to round 55-60 but it saves your game from the last round you were on, so its not bad. The could fix the crashes in next update, but so far its good! On one of the racing maps, i got to round 72 with 22 fully upgraded supermonkeys, and about 5 becon towers! Its so addicting!

Same lovable Bloons TD we know and love. i love this game. the control scheme mostly works well. the only problem is that whenever i try to get road spikes, it chooses glue instead, which is devastating because i only use spikes when i NEED them. i've lost a couple times because of this. but the game itself is great. runs perfect, tons of maps, and interesting music. and the ability to listen to your ipod music AND control it from in the game is awesome. if the spike issue gets fixed, then this game will easily be in the app store top 5 for me.

VEry good. Lots of people are complaining about the controls... I agree with them however i have small fingers so it isn't really a problem BUt no matter how small your fingers are, the placement of towers (especially dragging) is really hard other than that, graphics are good, upgrade are awesome but need to have more, and tower choice is pretty nice but also need to have several more. To make this game even better you'd need more lives, more variety of bloons and more variety everything. pretty awesome for a TD game...

Great fun but limited replay value. A tower defense game with a good interface and well-designed units. Play is simple and addictive. The number of tracks is small and variation between tracks is mostly cosmetic. The difficulty setting only affects the cost of untis. The sequence of balloons on each level does not change, regardless of track selection or difficulty setting. Most tracks are fairly easy, even on "hard". It is quite possible to finish the game in less than 4-5 hrs, which for some users may not justify the price. Overall, the otherwise excellent gameplay experience is weakened by lack of replay value.

I would have paid $15 for this game.. I am a veteran of this game, this being my favorite flash of all time. When they put it on the app store I went bezerk. Stop complaining about upgrading it: The original was the best. You know it. Stop complaining about the easy difficulty: At Round 65 I had 13 Super Monkeys with Plasma Rays and the Monkey Storm and got crushed on Easy, play longer. This game is amazing in every way, shape, and form, and is well worth more than the measely 3 dollars for it.

Good but .... ... it gets insane and puts me off playing. The levels need to have end-points. I don't want to spend hours on one level - with each wave taking 15 minutes. It gets very old. Bloons TD needs to do something like The Creeps and have separate "endurance" levels for those who can afford to burn out an entire battery on one level. For the rest of us, give us a set amount of waves and then an end. I do like this game but I seldom play it for the reason above. The Creeps is a model of excellence that this game would benefit from modelling after. Everything else is good.

Really fun, except. 9 out of 10 times I try putting the spikes down, it ends up being the pineapple sponge thing that I grab. You have to be SO precise with where you put your finger, but you only use the spikes when you're in trouble, so I end up with 4 or 5 pineapple sponges on the road when I was trying to put down spikes. That's how I end up losing every time. It's frustrating. I really like the gameplay, it's just this one thing that throws it off. Does anybody use the pineapple sponge anyway? Isn't that what the ice bubble thing is for? Get rid of the sponge!

Good but.... This is one of my favorite games on my iPod, but what would make this game the best is if it were updated to BTD 4. When that happens, this will definitely be a 5 star app. When it is updated to BTD 4, it would probably be best if the iPod was held in portrait and on the bottom of the screen all of the information was displayed, like upgrades and rank. When no towers are selected, purchasing towers would appear on the bottom, where the info used to be. There could be a couple pages of towers to swipe through so that the icons aren't too small or take up too much space.

best game in the app store. the best most addicting game in the store! controlls need a little work. maybe get rid of the boobmerang monkey & glue so u guys can make the others a bit easier to select. sometimes I drop the catupult when I wanted the cannon. also when u get to like lvl70+ it hangs or crashes sometimes though this may just be the limit of my 3g hardware. bloons is going to force me to upgrade to the 3gs lol. buy this game, u won't regret it!

Great 1 tiny thing. Great game almost perfect except for 1 thing and that it needs more levels/towers and upgrades I remember in online supermonkey and others cost about twice as much as on here oh and the game spazzes out every so often not often but sometimes is stops shooting and then starts back after like 1-2 seconds and the ummmm I think having like 5 supermonkey fully upgraded is just as effective as 2 fully upgraded supermonkeys idk what happens but it doesn't actually feel like it changes... Oh and moabs are hard as heck without supermonkeys oh and sometimes I click wrong button idk why like I keep clicking on nails and get glue idk and cannot put towers on left side of screen well

Not exactly btd3. This game isn't btd3 exactly. It's not even called btd3 just btd. This gives the app a huge advantage by giving it room to add new towers, upgrades, bloons, maps, etc. I'm not saying making it into btd4 because that's just a dumb idea, but make it to a new btd game entirely.I beleive, while obviously some people would cry that the game is ruined, that this game could be even better than it already is. Still, a perfect 5 star game.

A-freaken-mazing. Really fun app, i play it all the time. My brother told me to get it because he played the flash version a lot, and now im hooked. There are only 2 complaints that i have with the app, and they are so mild they're hardly worth mentioning. 1) Make the buttons bigger somehow, or add an option to be able to get rid of some of the buttons to be able to make the other ones bigger, should be able to custimize the screen (We control the place and the size of the buttons) 2) Not really a complaint but can you change the app's screen sign to more of the one used in other bloons? I'm not really a fan of the green background with the pink spikey tower ( sry, brain fart on name) Other than that, perfect game. Also, the super monkey should be able to turn faster. I somtimes have trouble because the bloons go faster than he can throw darts at them.

Worth It. Bloons/Bloons Tower Defense has always been my favorite flash game. I've had Bloons on my iPhone for a while and messed with it every once in a while, but as soon as I saw BTD in the app store I jumped for it immediately. Now I play it all the time. Fun gameplay, extremely addicting, as has my favorite levels from the flash game in addition to some brand new ones exclusive to the iPhone app. For gameplay, it definitely gets five stars. My only complaint about the app is just over how difficult tower/item selection can sometimes be, especially when it comes to spikes and monkey glue. I use spikes all the time, but too often I accidentally grab the monkey glue instead, which has occasionally cost me the game. If that issue could be ironed out, this app would get 5 stars in both gameplay and technicalities. Keep it up!

Too frustrating, got boring. I love tower defense games and really wanted to like Bloons, but got really turned off by how fast you can lose a whole game. You've spent 20min working up a nice set of towers, still have all your lives, then in literally 1 second a bunch of balloons zip through because you misplaced a tack or something, and boom, you've lost not just one life but the ENTIRE FRIKKING GAME and have to start over. Either should not have it be possible to lose so many lives in 1 second, or should have a fast forward to make it less tedious to rebuild (like Fieldrunners) or, only make you replay just that one wave and not the entire frikking game (like Plants vs Zombies). Got sooooooooo bored rebuilding my towers so many times. This game might appeal to gamer kids who have nothing better to do w their time than rebuild towers over and over, but anyone else is gonna get bored. Also! The music and animations and even the maps are bor-ing! Save your money, get fieldrunners or plants v zombies or creeps instead.

One bug. The game seems tocrash when you reach the 80s levels but it only happens when super monkey storms are called I would HIGHLY suggest an update for this but other than that I have found no other bugs or gliches. The spike putting down glue problem that keeps comming up is merely a case of people sliding their fingers down before pushing it to the map. To those people I would suggest when placing spikes first move your finger to your immediate left and then move the spikes to where you want them. That should solve your problem.

Best Tower Defense Yet?. I have purchased most of the tower defense games and I have to say, I like this one the best. It has some shortcomings, of course, many of which have been mentioned by other reviewers. For example, I'd love to be able to place things during the round WITHOUT confirmation, but during the pause WITH confirmation. I'd love to be able to redo just the most recent round, or mark a "save point" that I could jump back to. Still, the game is most entertaining and is a very good challenge even on MEDIUM. My son plays on EASY, and I haven't even tried HARD.

Love the game. I was an avid Bloons player online in every version they had. While the iTouch/iPhone version is only the Bloons TD somewhere around Bloons 3, it is still pretty solid. Actually my iTouch runs it smoother than my computer does! For some reason my Bloons TD crashes once in awhile. I don't know why. It usually happens if I am on openfeint looking at achievements, or when I am mutilating bloons post wave 50. I was on medium and it crashed on me at wave 69. While I know that is plenty to win the stage, it is kind of annoying to put in the time to get that far and not get credit for it! Logged back in, and it only gave me credit to 65. Still great game. I hope they upgrade it to Bloons 4. That or even release Bloons 4 as a stand alone, but obviously would be better for us to just get upgraded!

Un-responsive Tools. I really like the game a lot, and would give it 5 stars but you have to be pretty slow and precise when grabbing some of the things on the right side of the screen (which you need to use during the action). This has lost me quite a few rounds in very late levels, which is frustrating and has caused me to kind of give up on the game. The rounds are very long, and not being able to quickly place tacks in round 40 will make you crazy. Overall though, worth the dollar. It's a quality game, just needs some touch screen tweaks.

best app ever. this app is amazing and I love it. best tower defense out there. the only problem I have is when trying to get the tacks I always get the glue. i know I'm not the only one with this problem cuz almost all of the reviews say that they have that happen to. also around level 85 there's no where else to put the super monkeys so you can only use the monkey storm but sometimes it doesn't work and I grab the super monkey and that happens a lot. just fix the buttons issue and this app will be at number one in no time.!

Never Gets Boring!. I truly find this game amazing. It really keeps you occupied during long plane rides, car trips, waiting in line, and other times where you have to wait a while with little to no entertainment. It's also great 'cause the lite version of this tower game gets completed EXTREMELY fast but this version lets you play free mode(until you lose all lives) which makes me reach for it often to find out the last level of it because its a real challenge as you progress. Also, it comes with 3 tracks and difficulties. Graphics are also a plus for this. The only problem is that it's sorta hard to place th monkeys but nothing for me to complain about(but it may bother you). Also, I miss the crude comments on the computer version :) Though it's a tad expensive, it's completly worth EVERY penny! Don't hesitate, get it NOW!!!!

Way better than online!. Ive been waiting for this to go on sale for a long time and i must say im VERY impressed! For one thing, there are way more levels than on the online game. Second, there is absolutely no lag, and better graphics than the online game. Thirdly, i really like the interface. The controls are perfectly fit for the iphone, and the music options work very well. Lastly, this game supports openfeint, which make the game a challenge as you try to get achievements an get on the high scores. Overall, this game deserves a 10/10 points and is a steal, even at three bucks.

Amazing. I read how many good reviews this app got and had to buy it. that was the best thing I've done all day. graphics are superb, very smooth visuals, absolutly no lag for the first 60-80 rounds, and above all, way more tracks than the computer version. this game is a must buy at $1. get it now edit: at lvl 110. lag is noticable but no crash yet. on the computer I end up crashing at lvl 60-70 and i just got a new computer. excellent app

I am smitten by this. Me and all my friends waited so long for this, we always played bloons instead of doing homework, and now I can effectively not do homework and play bloons, as well as play bloons instead of paying attention in class!! Thanks bloons for ruining my future with this amazing product. Please bring updates that have more maps and a zoom feature and a fast forward feature, like your competitor "field runners" has. Also that open map would be an awesome updated feature! I'd buy it again!

Good game. This game is good but if u have thick fingers like I do and I'm a pretty skinny guy 6'4" 210lbs it's hard to lay what u really wanted down ESP in a rush...then u have to go back and sell it and blah blah...and I can't make it pass lvl 90 on easy... this game is way harder than the computer version at lvl 70+ but with all that said I am determined to at least make it to lvl 100...that makes my replay factor very high...if u wanna get more than your moneys worth I recommend this game... And in normal conditions on ipod touch the battery last for about 2 hrs idk with the iphone I'm t-mobile... Have fun...

Amazing!. Being a huge Fan of Original Bloons Tower Defense game online, I was very, very excited to play it on my iPhone, and I had very high expectations for this game. Well....it met these expectations. I can't seem to put my iphone down anymore, i'm always playing it. The controls are awesome except for one minor issue, and that is when you have a tower (dart monkey, cannon, ect.) selected and you go to unselect it by tapping back on the map outside the tower's range, it will take a second tap sometimes. Other than that this game is PERFECT!! keep the maps coming!!!

Very good game worth getting if you love tower defense games. It is very good but as mentioned before by some others there should be a few update like maybe more maps, more leveling up not just 2 it should have like specials for different towers, and last more towers like some that were in the bloon tower defense 4. How they flew around and what not. Other then the wanted update it is a very fun and intertaining game for the iPod and I would say that it is the best tower defense game for the itouch and iphone users.

Great game, but.... Overall, this is the best tower defence game in the app store. I can play this for hours. Other tower defence games are easy (even on hard) yet this one is chalenging and is hard on hard and easy on easy. Thevonly flaws are that I don't know how to unlock the other tracks that you see in the description. And the buttons you press to build a tower are too small. This is bad because I once was trying to get the nails and accedentallyvgotcthe monkey glue and lost the game at level 49. A solution for this would be to have a button on the left side of the screen that says towers on it and when ou click it a transperent menu would pop up so you can look at the track while browsing for towers. One thing I think should happen is (this isn't a flaw, but it is a suggestion) there should be a level editor where you build your own tracks. This game, overall is one of my favorites. Thank you for creating this game and keep up the good work!

Addicted.. I'll admit it, I'm addicted. And as a user who had never heard of this game or played the online version that should say enough. This game is absolutely amazing! The graphics are smooth, the sounds great, and just overall a must-buy for hours of fun wasted. I will say that this is a battery drainer, but that must be because I loose the track of time. It is so worth it! The controls are sort of small, but I'm hoping this can somehow be fixed in the next following updates. 5 Stars.

Amazing!. I played this on the computer many hours at school (big tech lab) and it was great. I found this for the iPod series and just had to have it. I have only achieved lvl 73 so far, but it is extremely addicting and fun. I would like to say that, yes spikes are hard to select when you need them (especially on smaller levels) and that there should be a slight auto-placement on it. I've spent up to two minutes trying to place a piece onto the map because I can't tell if it will fit or not. If you could fix this it would be much appreciated. Otherwise amazing app. Buy it NAO!
