More app store junk. The automatic green screen feature on Iphone removed the target image, not The green background. The only way To remove the green background is To manually mask it out, which is Patently absurd, especially given the Ridiculously poor erase tool. This is Junk. This is garbage. This is fraudulently Represented and i want my money back. I am sick to death of this with the app Store. Less than no credibility with the app Store. Absolute junk. Absolute junk.

Waste of money!!👎👎👎. This app is a joke. The green screen sensitivity absolutely does not work. I used a green screen but regardless of how I adjust the sensitivity, it removes every color except the green!!! DO NOT BUY unless you want to waste your money.

Meh. I wish when you erased the pic that it wouldn't blur and it wouldn't matter by the thickness. Other that that it's okay

Not impressed.. Used it a couple of times and quickly abandoned it. When you create a composite it saves it in a low resolution. The software is glitchy and at times can not tell what is green. Not easy to use either.

Party fun. Had a blast with the coworkers and this app at our office party. Love that you ban add you own backgrounds versus the selfie booth app we had.

HORRIBLE!!!. I don't see what the other reviewer's are talking about. I must be doing something wrong, but somehow I cannot select the size of eraser size to remove unwanted background picture. There are better apps than this one. And it appears there are other apps that are exactly similar to this one but under a different name. I believe the other reviews are rigged...I'm out $5 bucks.

Waste of money, don't bother!. It's extremely LOW quality!!! I used high res photos from my camera and the app converts it to an extremely pixelated version. I'm even using photos with an A Tula chroma key green screen and it's STILL not layering properly, it's transparent through different colors like Black clothes and hair. 90s game graphics were sharper than these images! Total crap!

Awesome. This app is great! I would recommend it to everybody looking for an app to cut out your own photos and paste them on to your photos!!

App Crashes. I had to rate it five stars to make sure everyone will see review. It’s 3 stars. I purchased app years ago. I like several features when they work. After doing iOS updates always have problems. Certain features stop working. After updating iOS 16.1, can’t add text to photos. When I click on text icon app crashes. Developer never responds. Beware!!

Best app ever. This is by far the most amazing photo editing app. Perfect.

Little use of this. Don't buy this app if you have the expectation of using this to even replace a green screen. The only way to add a second layer is if you are patient enough to erase the top background carefully. This app's studio does little to assist and has a basic concept. I had a higher expectation for this app so I got a refund. Definitely not worth the buy. The entire pitch this app throws is different when you encounter the unprofessional interface utilized into the app.

No green screen color sampler. I would not buy this app do to the fact that there is not an eyedropper to sample the green screen color. If your green screen is not perfectly the green there app is looking for you get bad results.

Not worth the money. I am totally bummed I spent money on this app. I ended up also buying the Green Screen from Do Ink because it is SO easy to learn- this app is not good because it is not intuitive enough.

AWFUL. This app is horrible!!! The pictures are VERY hard to trace and cut out. When you do get them cut out, there is still extra around the edges from lack of brush precision. It is a total waste of money. Look for something else!!!!!

Big improvement. My previous GS crashed. I absolutely love this one. I have a large family and sometimes they're not around for a group foto, so I GS them in or remove objects or people I don't want in my foto. Or I don't like a certain background, so I change it. Have at on iPad, iPhone and Mac. I do a lot of traveling and its a fun thing to do on a long trip. Make a mistake, go to eraser. Love it!

Misleading. This app doesn't tell you it will slow down your phone's performance PRIOR to purchasing it. I saw that message as soon as I opened the app. I haven't used it and I want an immediate refund.

Love it, one suggestion. I love this app and use it to put my bunnies in fun and exciting backdrops for their Instagram. One thing that I wish I could do is save my top layer after I have edited it. So far I have found I must edit the top layer each time a new session begins. It would be nice to save it to add new backgrounds in the future. Thank you!

Good Concept...Limited Use...Very Basic. If you want to use this to key in well keyed pictures...the app will let you concept a picture. Its not for two different pictures like adding a bird that you shot....it does not have advanced capabilities...blending or fine keying. The layer concept is weak, can only erase top layer...erase tool has very poor control. And overall interface is not intuitive if you've never used layers before. Overall output from app is very limited. Reviews look over inflated.

Love it!. Love this app! I have posted so many Facebook pictures that I have used this app on. Frolic311, Google Green Screen. Save the one that is just the green color. Paste your edited top photo on to that. Then it’s instant filter when you’re using it with other pictures. Writers, please update the app so that it can be used on the current iOS. Right now I can’t even open the app. I would really hate to see it go.

There goes 5 bucks. The app BARELY recognizes the difference between the green screen and the subject. The eraser erases everything- it's not selective. BIG PROBLEM: The preview for this app shows that it has the ability to provide backgrounds. I can't find these anywhere.

Good for photo shopping. Good for photo shopping but I would not call it a green screen app. It has a green screen feature but it’s a better photo shop and photo editing. By the way it does do videos.

Green screen studio. Just doesn't work. I bought it on my last iPad and I was silly enough to buy it agin thinking it may have been fixed. It crashes as soon as it is selected.

Dud App. App does not work on iPad 7.0.3 or iPhone 5 7.0.3, loads then keeps crashing. Tried everything support recommended on their website but nothing works. Support has not responded and most probably won't. Don't by it until it works but I guess it won't as I think it is a dud app. I score it -1 Not happy😡

Absolutely appalling. I downloaded the app for my iPad3 with IOS6. It doesn't work, the app just doesn't work. At least in my iPhone you can see the menu but not on my iPad. Further, having no manual adjustment of the colour makes it useless. maybe there's an update?

Disappointing. Disappointed. This only allows static images. I wanted my video to be placed over another using a green screen effect but after buying this app I found out it doesn't do that. The app continuously crashes on me too.

OK. App is OK, you can't do videos though, I will delete the app and tell my friends, and media teacher, not to download it, and to request a refund instead, and I will do the same thing, if you don't bring in video support in the next couple of updates

Okay. This could be really good if there was only an undo function. Having known I would not have bought this. Seems to me undo is an extremely important function.

Pretty Great Photo Editor. Yes. It is. But needs an update!

Disappointed. The application is easy enough for students to learn and use quickly, especially with the video tutorial, but the Auto Green Screen button (to remove all the green screen background automatically) does not work properly and to try to have students remove the green screen manually looks like a task too frustrating and time consuming to ask them to do.

Glitch in upgrade. This has been one of my favorite apps until the upgrade. No matter what background I choose, it gives me the same one, so I will stop using the app until it's fixed.

not worth even .99 Much less 2.99. I had high hopes for this app so I tried taking pictures of my self on a lot of different colored backgrounds but it always messed up I even got a pic off the Internet and he was on a green screen and it messed up. The tools are annoying to use and it has very little choices of background a good amount of improvement is needed on this app another thing that takes vids will be a good addition oh well this thing is not worth it

WOW. What an amazing app ! and it work

Very useful. I am only 12 years old and have my own, good green screen in my basement. I uploaded some of the pics I took with my green screen onto my iPod after buying this, and when I used it on the app it worked fine. As it's the only chromakey app out there, it's the best. My backgrounds worked great and I can't wait to show my friends how I do it on my own iPod. An undo button would be nice, though. And for all you reviewers out there, NO DUH, they don't have the backgrounds as shown in the preview. That's supposed to show you how to choose pics for the background from your camera roll!!! If you don't like the provided backgrounds, I would recommend loading a bunch of photos from the Internet of desktop backgrounds, which work great for the green screen. All in all, very nice app.

Not a green screen app. This app does not perform as a green screen app. It is a photo editing app. Not what was expect. 5.00 lost.

Bug fixes improve app greatly. I originally gave this app 1 star. Having updated the app today it jumps up to three at least. You do not need a green screen to have a good experience. Bravo to the designers for the fixes. Keep up the good work.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.. All this app allows you to do is use an eraser tool to erase the edges of photos. It layers a photo behind it so it shows through like a scratch board. THIS IS NOT A GREEN SCREEN APP. It's a edit tool.

Crash. This app is great, but more background choices should be available to choose from and it keeps crashing. Once it stops crashing it will get four stars.

Very Cool. I really liked this app and loved changing the backgrounds. However because it's difficult to use the tools to get the picture just right, an UNDO button is absolutely necessary. I would give it 5 stars if the developer added an undo button.

Fun Application- 3 1/2 Stars. I fully agree with the folks requesting an undo button. It seems strangely neglectful that the developers would not include this. Otherwise, it's a lot of fun. To the person complaining about no additional background images, simply go to Google images and find whatever image you want, be it a national monument, a famous battle scene from some war or... heck... even a seedy strip club. Use the image you find and save it as your background. Now you can put yourself or your friends in the midst of whatever action you want. It's a lot of fun. Note: Be prepared to have a good cropping app to appropriately size your pictures, and an after effects program blends both images together even more seemlessly.

Larger save size needed. A very inventive & useful app -- except for the incredible restriction of only saving in tiny almost thumbnail size, as one review already noted. Needs to be at least 300 KB size. Can't believe it was your intention to so cripple things. Fix this & will give 5 stars.

Not sure what happened!?. This app used to be fun... It is now constantly crashing and it's becoming a serious trigger for my brain to close all protein gates for all endorphin re-uptake. Because of this incessant crashing (physical and literal), I am now addicted to anti-depressants and need counseling. PLEASE FIX THIS! We all know that Obamacare won't cover my psychiatry bills... Another great Moon app!!. Green screen studio is such a fun photo app! I've spent the last hour making hilarious photos of my friends in the most peculiar of places, lol. Between this app and sticki pici, the creative possibilities are endless! Keep up the good work.

Disappointed & !!!EXTREMELY!!! Frustrated. I have had this app for a year or more. I have used it numerous times with great results. BUT... or perhaps I should say BUTT...because, apparently due to changes in the app, all that it is capable of creating now, is CRAP! That is, if one could actually create anything at all. It used to be so easy...so intuitive, but now it is excruciatingly impossible to figure out and use. I wish there was a way to give it a negative star rating. If so, I would give it a -10!!!

Nice app. I read the reviews initially, but I did not see any bugs per say. The application does what it says and it is real cool to change the background and make the pic different. I would rate it the full 5 stars but had some problems working with a dark picture. Still recommend to everyone....

Green stays photo disappears. I must be doing something wrong every time I tried using this the green stays on the photo and the rest disappear. The complete opposite of what I expect.

Is this some bad joke?!. I own and use two pages worth of photography apps, and with all honesty I can most confidently say this is absolute garbage. The tools are extremely sloppy, and it rarely, if ever, gives any worthwhile results. This is an app most likely tossed together quickly, priced high for quick profit, and promoted with reviews written by dev and friends. Save the 3 bucks.

Not good. Very terrible, considering the price! Minimal instructions, non-intuitive, clunky and just not great. :(

Needs improvements. This could be a good app, but the auto green screen needs to be improved. It erases everything, the green screen and object. Would be nice to have an eye dropper tool to match the shade of the green screen to remove. The brush size could be finer to clean up around edges. Make these improvement and you'll get a 5 star.

Piece of crap doesn't work!!. I usually don't bother to write reviews even when the app is bad. But I just paid $2.99 regardless of some of the bad reviews and tried it out and my picture keeps disappearing every time and all you see is the stupid green screen!! dumb. this app makes you pay money for something you can do with free apps

$3 wasted - needs more basic features.. This I'm sure works fine if you put your subjects in front of well lit green screen - but does not work for everyday use. Here's why... #1) No undo steps - so if you make a mistake you have to start all over #2) The auto-function rarely picks up the backgrounds of even a solid orange wall without bleeding into the subject itself. Nice try but if I could request a refund I would.

Outdated. It's slow, poor quality and needs an update. Don't waste your money.

Junk. Doesn't do anything that can't be done elsewhere for free. If you're looking for an app for chroma key work, look elsewhere.

Awesome. I'm really into photography and wanted to try some floating pics. This app is amazing for it!! It's pretty easy to use too. I've uploaded a few onto instagram, check it out.

Ugghhh. I swear!! This is one of the most annoying apps!!! Every time I choose the pictures to edit, they're not there!!! I can't see them!!! It's like they are invisible!!! And after 15 tries, they finally show up!!! Also, the app just randomly closes when I'm working on something!! The end results are OK but you need a lot of patience to work on it!!! Get it fixed or else I want my money back!!!!! It was a complete waste!!!

Sorry! Had to change review!. I was a firm advocate of this app! However with recent updates, the app is no longer functional. Usually you can contact the developer through the app to attempt to resolve issues, but since it crashes upon opening that's not an option. No other links to contact. Once crash problem is fixed and I am able to once again use what I paid for, I'll re-up my rating.

great app!. this app worked better than the other tools Ihave tried. My 7 year old was able to figure it out. Couple features would be nice. Replacing the top and bottom layers was a nice addition.

Criminal. I do not understand why Apple would permit such fraud in their App Store. It is wildly apparent that this app DOES NOT WORK!!! I guess I was naive to think that it was as bad as everyone said and would still be available. And the "help" offered on the developers web site is meaningless. Telling us to reboot is not support. Apple should do a better job of policing its developers and banning them from stealing again from Apple customers. Only giving 1 star to enable the submission.

on the right track. it doesn't take a genius to figure out that these guys are the ones that also did sticki pici. i contacted them about the bug and they responded right away and said the bug was fixed and is in the process of being approved by Apple. very friendly! the app has a lot of potential. 3 stars until the bugs are fixed and 1 star for friendly service. thanks!

Almost. The auto green screen tool is useless and doesn't come close to working. The color tool works most time at an offset of your touch, which might be good, but it changes every time, so there's no consistency. The concept is great, but much more work is needed to be done. Almost? Maybe that was a little generous.

Pleaseee update. I don't know why people are giving this bad reviews, it's awesome! But just please make a few updates: being able to move the top image around so you could put it in different places of the background, also an undo button
