Great app for photo documentation. I’ve been using this app for several years now. It is outstanding for use in documenting photos for legal work. I use this app several times a week at work and I appreciate the work put in to keep it running smoothly. Great job.

Handy tool. I use this camera on projects where I need time and location data (and photo direction) associated with each image. It’s a great tool to have. Image management is a little cumbersome, but that is the only weak point. This is a great app, a highly recommend it.

Could be better. I bet lots of people love the way the app operates. It would be a 5star app if you it let you have the option to take the photo then label the picture while showing you the photo you just took.

Great except need 2 hands…. This is my timestamp goto camera. Recently began using a crutch 🩼 to help keep balance. I’m frustrated because THIS app doesn’t let me use the volume button as alternate shutter. There’s no free hand when using TWO crutches, as is sometimes required due to arthritis. Please update app!

Use Everyday. Immense time saver when all the information I need is watermarked on my construction project photographs. Reliable. A quality app I value.

Exactly what I was looking for and more. Phenomenal software with tons of features, some that I didn’t even know I wanted (like creating custom overlays that include logo). Love the versatility, multiple export options, and inclusion of all of my camera’s capabilities (like .5 and 3X zoom)

Perfect solution for what we needed!. My friend operates a refrigerated tractor trailer and needed to document the seal placed on the load at both the shipper and receiver in the event there was product missing. We looked at expensive cameras on the market, but they kept the time and location in the metadata. She needed it ON the photo showing the seal intact along with the bills of lading. Context Camera absolutely fills this need perfectly! Thank you!

Great app, suggestion. Context cam is very reliable and easy. If I had to suggest something, I’d love to be able to duplicate albums and delete all annotations in mass. I send photos to adjusters and sometimes the captions are confidential and the adjusters aren’t able to share the pictures because of that.

Black screen. This app is great other than sometimes the screen stays black, camera doesn’t work at all. It would be nice to zoom in on pictures that have been taken within the app.

SUPERB! BEST IN ITS CLASS! Anyone in Safety MUST HAVE!. I have first, I want to say I have been with these guys since about the third or fourth day they put this app out. It was a superb app then, it remains the best out there of all absence class. If you have a job where you require photographic evidence or documentation, this is your app. This app not only records and imprints all of the GPS data, it also imprints directional data and photo notes in the overlay. There is absolutely no dispute whatsoever of all GPS and labeling information on this highly professional photographic overlay. I have tried and tested other apps (in this class) and keep going back to this one. It is highly manageable, highly simple, and is absolutely fantastic. I use it in recording inspection documentation, and [it] still remains the best in its class. Secondly I want to say that the developers have ethics above and beyond most other developers in the App Store. They have remained faithful to their past customers in that they do not come out with additional in-app purchases for their older customers to buy, nor do they cease production of an app and come out with a new version to purchase all the way around once more. They develop, push the updates out as app updates, and you are not left having to keep purchasing more and more from the developer. This developer has the best customer loyalty and satisfaction than any other developer authoring apps in my iPhone currently. You won’t be disappointed. Try it. Much appreciated and Highly Recommended in MANY WAYS!!

Best for Construction Progress Photos. The app is very easy to set up, is easy to use and captures all of the metadata needed for progress photos right on the photo itself.

Great app. Easy to use and understand. One improvement would be the ability to have tags or create comments that are shown on the comments screen so you can just tap the tag or comment and it auto inputs into the comments section instead of having to type it.

Camera. Would really like to use video with my phone! Camera function works great! Would love it if you could use video with this app! It would be great!

Using app since 2015. There is currently no better photo stamped app on the market. This is available for Apple products only.

Contex cam. Very useful and extremely neat for us people that needs it to help make the job easier

Love the app!. The custom overlays are great for watermarking your company logo into photos and the automatic address detection and addition saves so much time. Two features I would love to have: Automatic removal of the comment field from the overlay if I don’t add a comment, and some way to automatically upload photos to Dropbox or Google Drive for additional automation options from there.

Maintenance/Cordinator P66. I have used the app for about 9.5 years that I know of and have had no issues. Great reliability

Construction Documentation You Need!!. I have been using the Contex Camera App for over 5 years in the commercial construction industry and have not found another camera that can perform like the Contex... For example- Each picture has the Latitude and Longitude in the format you choose. The feature I use most is the Note feature, you can add two lines of notes describing what you want the viewer to look at- Great for documenting good and bad construction work... Hey, give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed...

You cannot create an account. You cannot make an account and save your photos in it. Need to save them all to your Photos.

Perfect for what i need!. This app meets every need for me at work. Full customization, free, no ads, simple overlay, simple app!

Recent update ruined the app!. I have been using this app for close to 10 years and CONSTANTLY tell people to get it. Today I opened the app to be asked if the app could have full access to every photo on my phone. I chose “limited access” and now my photos will not auto export. I work as a construction inspector so photos are the cornerstone of my job. I guess I will have to look for a new app that doesn’t want to invade my personal life and entire phone.

Love the idea. I’m only rating this a 4/5 stars because I would love to see a one time purchase for use of full features. Willing to pay a good price for that. Otherwise an awesome app that I wish could come standard on all phones! Also love all of the other developers apps

Best GPS camera app out there!. I love this app. It's a must have for me and my job. I have to take daily photos of work completed and materials for verification and the ContextCam is the best tool I have. Very easy to use and and I love the function of being able to type notes and descriptions on each photo for my records. This app is a must have for time stamp and GPS photos.

Perfect and essential for LE use.. Been using it since it came out, and after all these years there's still nothing better that can touch it. Dev has continually updated with more and more features, and it was well worth more than the cost for the Pro version. Now that all users have free access to all features I hope it isn't an indication that it will no lonver be supported. This app serves its purpose perfectly, and is is essential for any LEO and/or first responder; I've used it for evidence photography, casefiles, and for simply covering my six 😉👍🏽. Proffessional looking pics with every bit of custom info [text and images] you may need overlayed on them, and all in a highly customizable format. Expoeting and sharing is practical and a breeze. Get the app... you wont need or want another of its type.

Makes me look good at work!. Love it! One start reduction for not having the ability to use location to suggest previous annotations. That should be option.

Great tool!. I am a Right of Way Agent. With the ease of the editing for captions, the pencil, I can put all the project related info, including tract #, land owner name, where it is being taken from(looking N from Old Town Road) etc. The GPS coordinates, time and date stamp and pointing arrow are great features. It is a great tool that I use almost daily. GET IT!

Great app. I use this for work to document areas where I monitor vegetation. Both the location and note feature are very useful. It is nice being able to have this app on my iPad rather than having to remember a separate camera and placard to note needed information in the photos I take.

The best “work” app on my iPhone. I use this app for work inventories and equipment tracking. It is also my “go-to” app for insurance photos and real property survey photos. After using, I send the photos to my work e-mail address and share with my co-workers. I highly recommend this software!

Image name after exporting. I noticed that the image name sometime doesn’t updated as we select in the setting. That’s become annoying when you download heaps of pics and all are with same name

Totally Professional App. Cannot find a flaw with this app. Totally does what I need in the field of Civil Construction. Have recommended it to engineers who are gob smacked how totally professional it is...

Good. App works well and contains location details, date , time and other data including user input. Really useful for recording sampling sites in field work. Shame app is forcing me to write a review or upgrade to pro before I can access photos stored in the app which is what I was trying to do.

Fantastic photo app for documentation. There are few industrial photo apps available. This is one that really works for site verification and auditing. Using it pretty much every day. Team collaboration functionality would be a great enhancement. Should be part of any engineers toolkit!

Very useful. I work in conservation and land management and have found Context Cam great for recording site information (location) with additional notes (ie. plant names or track features). Often it can be hard to distinguish sites that have uniform vegetation, which is where the locational data and ability to add these notes is so valuable.

Great app!. Easy to organise files and manage photos.

More colours and larger front for all info. The front at the moment is really small to look at. Especially if you are using that image as an evidence. Please allow font options along with colour.

Simple and effective. Quality app for recording location and direction on your photos. Adding EXIF support would make it even better!

It’s good!. No matter what I do, or settings I use, it won’t pick up direction. It defaults to south. I’ve checked all the settings and location sharing - I can’t work it out. Otherwise it’s been really good. EDIT: deleted CC, powered the iPhone off for five minutes, turned it on and reinstalled CC and everything is awesome again!

An annoying bug. Not sure if it’s just me but if I don’t use this app for a week or so it disconnects my linked accounts so I have to keep re-adding my account, signing out and signing in then linking the account again, to ensure my photos auto upload. Annoying but other than that, it’s pretty good.

How every emergency photo should look. Good we can share from the app now! Why the name change? We have found this app to be fantastic for etching geo location to photos from emergency workers to control room, love it! Look forward to you maybe adding in auto load to Dropbox, well done and keep it simple!

Very handy. This app gives you a wide range of features for free, with a very reasonable subscription price for the pro version. I can’t recommend this enough for any work where you need proof of location for your photos.

Great app. Awesome app for capturing multiple photos that are for one job and keeping them collated. Improvements that could be made. 1. The ability to create a sub album inside albums to better collate 2. Ability to export the album itself, not have to go into the album and select all. 3. Auto upload to Dropbox

Good for Law Enforcement. I had a recent occasion where this would have come in very handy for crime scene photo’s, given it’s ability to overlay location data to a photo. Will now be my at work camera app.

Image quality. The images are blurry when sent out of the app. They have to be screenshotted to maintain quality.

Easy to Use. Basic but effective

Great App for Inspection photos. Love that you can change the notes before or after you take the picture and that it doesn’t have to be saved in my library. The last app I used would fill up my phone with work photos I didn’t want on my phone-now I can just email them to myself and upload them to my work server and on flash drive to be handed in at the end of the project. Brilliant.

Above the competition. I especially like that you can edit the photo descriptions after they've been taken. I like that the photos are kept separate from my photo library which is great for work. I've found free alternatives are so buggy they're unusable. Great app.

Still needs some work. The options aren’t all available for editing the field used. I need 3 of the 5 lines with text in the ‘All’ format but have to choose either all 5 or one of the 5, it’s not a great solution yet.

Only Camera App I Use now - Fantastic update!!!. Thanks for allowing users to update text info on the pic after pic has been taken. This is a great fix because I had shot some pics with wrong info before. I love this app because it is so quick to open and ready to shoot on the iPhone 6+. I mainly use it for the time and date stamp which to this day, I can't understand why that isn't an option on the Native camera app. I need to be able to see when a pic was taken by looking at the pic and not looking up the metadata. Great app. Keep up the good work.

Lost all photos. Climbed 16/12 roof taking 142 photos, started labeling later. Come to find out there’s only 22 photos. App glitched and I’m out $200.

Great Camera App. For business or pleasure.. I found this great app when I was looking to add notes to photos. I work in IT and I am responsible for many locations. When I got a tour of all our sites I used this app to notate what's in the photo and the location/office where it was taken. In the past I'd have a bunch of photos and though I'd want to notate where they were taken, I might not get to it. Thank you to the developer for adding an on/off toggle for the location bar. I also used this app when I went on vacation with my family. We went to DC and I got to label all the places we went. This app sits in my home screen.
