What happened?. What happened to the easy-to-read display? One of the reasons I loved this app was because I could read the clock from across the room, or on my nightstand with my glasses off. Now I can hardly see it at all. I love the additional alarm features with this update, but the clock part is practically useless to me now. Can we please have the old display back?

Okay. This app is okay. I wish that it would run in the background so I can still be able to use my phone and I don't have to remember to open shabbos clock everyone I am done. (because i set alarms that go off telling everyone it is shabbos right when shabbos starts, I don't use my phone on Shabbos) Also please add the ability to change the alert tone for the alarm because the default one that comes with the app is kind of annoying especially since I cannot turn it off because it is shabbos. Thanks!

Works great!. I don't understand all the negative reviews. The app worked great, the alarm was plenty loud and the clock numbers were large enough to see without my glasses. What more can you ask for from a .99 app.

Needs Improvement. I appreciate the Rusty Brick Siddur a lot but this app is not on the same level. First, there is no choice of sounds. Then, after I set the alarm I receive repeated notifications to “reopen and re-enable for full duration “ — what does this mean and why is this necessary?

What about Yom Tov. Good idea but it would have been nice to set different times for each of the three days of Yom Tov.

Now once again Shabbes Clock is one of my most favorite apps and a trusted shabbes companion. Thank you for making once again an excellent app - simple and useful. If you haver fahrshlufed on shabbes this app is for you!

Worst clock!. I hate this app! It neverrrr works!!!

Crash. Crashes when i try to set up the Alarm

Something's is wrong. Great app and always worked great. But the last day or to it's gone crazy. It's ringing even though all my alarms are disabled and the app is completely off (even in the background). Yet it is ringing again and again. Very annoying. Please fix.

Doesn't Make Sound. I was very disappointed that while set properly (according to instructions) it didn't go off when testing. It just brought up the volume button that was already set for it. It played no tunes, no notes, no tones or preset alarm sounds.

Used to work, but.... When this app first came out, I used it all the time and never had a problem with it- even the vibrations alone were enough to wake me up (I am a light sleeper, admittedly). But ever since upgrading to an iPhone 5, the app hasn't worked! I've tested it several times, and the alarm simply doesn't go off. Please update the app!

Might be a little biased. I wrote it but didn't actually use the app until Rosh hashana when I needed to be up in time for the earlier minyan. It woke me up perfectly both days. That is all i expect from this app.

Best app. This it the best app for shobbos clock and it is so useful everyone should get this app that is Jewish.

Wish I could give this ZERO stars. The phone must be plugged in for this to work. This wears down the battery. There is no way to choose the melody or make any other adjustments. I can’t believe they have the nerve to charge $1 for one of the worst apps ever invented. Either they’re fully incompetent or they’re cheating on their scales <_<

Just OK. Needs work.. Alarm not loud enough, with no functionality to make it louder, ring longer, or repeat. Surprised that a reputable developer would not have put more thought into something they're selling.

Needs Major Improvement. This app is great in theory but it really doesn’t work that well at all. I don’t know if I’m using it wrong or something, but it’s not very reliable to use as an alarm. I’d look somewhere else for a more reliable Shabbos clock app before spending $0.99 on this one.

Programs not functioning properly.. this program is not working properly there is times when I delete some alarm time that I set up before The alarm works anyway showing me the old set up and when I’m looking on the main screen of the program it’s not there it’s been delete. It’s usually happen when I set up some alarm for holidays (Shavuot) for example if you can add on alarm repeat it would be a good thing for the pogrom Thank you.

Wasn't clear what to do. I didn't know that I had to disable the auto-lock. Plus, I was in a hotel that disabled the room's electricity when an electronic key wasn't inserted, so I couldn't keep my phone plugged in overnight. Next time, I'll just bring a simple travel clock.

V bad application. What a waste of money and time This application is litterly the meaning of rubbish

Permanently damaged my iPhone X screen. The clock functions well, but burned a permanent imprint in the middle of my screen. Not fixable. Very disappointing.

Old app worked great!! Update not working.. Used this app all the time on Shabbat morning and now with upgrade it no longer works!! Any pop up on your phone prevents app from working.

Needs some help. Although it has a very nice display, there are two specific concerns that make this app impractical: 1. Not only must app be on to work, but must go to settings of iphone to disable the auto-lock 2. Alarm is WAY too low It's been a long time since I bought this app and it's the only app I have that has not been updated even once.

Great app. This app makes waking up Shabbos morning after the Friday night Banquet a whole lot easier and so much fun.

iPhone needs to be on for alarm to sound.. No reason for this. Take a look at the other app store apps like Night Stand. They work even when the iPhone is off.

Phone needs to be plugged in.. I'd give this app five stars but for some reason the developers decided that the phone needs to be plugged in for the app to work. If the phone is not plugged in then all you get is one beep at the designated time instead of the length selected. It makes no sense that the phone needs to be plugged in for the app to work fully. Please provide a fix.

Update. Can you make this work like a normal app or are you guys ok with ripping people off. I expected more from rusty brick I guess I was an idiot I hope you guys lose you're contract with artscroll for beings idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't work. Didn't work. Followed instructions. First alarm went off for 10 secs, shut off and never came back on. Would not recommend.

Not practical. Developers, if the app has to be open the whole night on the same screen, that risks burn-in. Why did you make it so complicated? There’s another app that allows you to set shabbos alarms with a much more intuitive method. And that one is free. I appreciate the effort, but I don’t appreciate being charged $1 for an app that could literally ruin my screen if I use it in the way it’s intended to be used.

Terrible. This app requires you to keep your iPhone plugged into a charging port and have the app running as the main screen the whole shabbat. Otherwise it won't work.

Now you don't have to wake up the whole house on shabbos. With Shabbos Clock my old Treo can now be relegated to paper weight status. Ever since I bought my iPhone I have kept my old Treo next to my bed just for it's clock features which sadly iPhone is deficient. Shabbos Clock corrects that Some features I would add: * More time selections - perhaps a wheel with every number of minutes from 1 to 300 * an auto snooze option - after the initial alarm - you would specify a number of minutes after which it would repeat. You could also specify a number of repeats. * a snooze button - obviously not for shabbos use * and last but not least - an unlited number of alarms - for example if I would like to set 2 alarms for shachris another 2 for mincha etc.

Fail! Doesn't appear to be compatible with 4s iPhones. Disappointed that alarm didn't go off on the Shabbos morning that required early activity. This app is of zero use to me.

Garbage and theft. The app is worthless and the people who charged for it are dirty thieves. Here is the issue: if the alarm is not plugged in, all that happens is that it beeps softly once, and the screen lights up with a notification. For the alarm to work, the phone must be plugged in. Leaving an iPhone plugged in overnight will wear the battery down and reduce the life of the phone. Google this if you are not sure. To use the alarm for shabbos, the iPhone has to be plugged in for at least 25 hours, for two days Yom tov 50 hours and three days Yom tov 75 hours straight? Do you want to ruin your iPhone this way? Unfortunately, there is no way to give this piece of crap zero stars.

Works like a charm. This app is so awesome. It works great on Shabbath and has woken me up 98% of the time. I wish it would remind me to set the alarm before shabbth because sometimes i forget to set it and then its too late. Also i would like to see a built in volume control instead of having to change your iPods playback volume. All in all this app is worth the small ammount of money.

Not a good App alarm!!. Do not use it you have to leave your iPhone open, if you lock it the alarm not working!!!

Works well... you just have to know how to use it like anything else!!. It works very well! After putting your phone on airplane mode, plug the phone in the charger. Then, go to this app and set time, day and volume then TAP THE LOWER BUTTON and leave your phone open with the clock display on. The missing star is because there is no choice of ring tone, just the basic annoying one (but then again adjust to a lower volume).

Shluffer. Much better than the competing Shabbat Clock. Why? Easy to use buttons that navigate well unlike the Shabbat program I own too. HINT: make your icon look the real clock face as right now your icon "ad" looks nothing like the real app (my reason for initially buying competitor's Shabbat clock, whose icon looked like it represented a nicer app). Here's the one thing you NEED to do! Your market is for Shabbos observers. We don't want our phones ringing or beeping during those 24 hours other than for your alarm app. Thus, you've got to get the alarm app working with iPhone volume turned off, as now it only works with the volume left on. Impossible you say? Check out the internal iPhone (non-Shabbos) alarms and you'll see that they sound off just fine even with the phone volume shut off. Latch onto that programming and incorporate it into this app. As a bonus - it would be nice if the alarm app could trump all other programs. When a pre-set recurring calendar event reminder occurs on Shabbos, it pops right up over the alarm clock time, blocking view of the time for the rest of Shabbos. Can you fix that so that the clock time remains? I assume the time displays vertcially (versus horizontally) because you were being clever and wanted people to easily view from a sleeping position. If that's not the case, can you switch it (or make it an option) to horizontal view, where time reads from left to right (and not top to bottom)?

Not reliable. Doesn’t sound alert. Very disappointing. Alert did not sound when needed. Several test alerts also failed. I wasn’t a buck and a half, but more significant, really let down by an app I hoped would be useful for Shabbat wake up.
