Worst app ever. At first I thought this would be cool but you have to subscribe to a membership of choice and it’s not cheap btw with very little options for controls. The light bulbs half the time blink and don’t respond unless you turn them on and off on light switch multiple times.l, annoying. And now you guys have added freaking advertisements to the app I had already paid for? B.S!!!!! I rather use candles then to ever use your stupid app that you guys keep trying to leach off of. If I could a negative zero star rating would be what you would get. Everyone stay away from buying any of this company’s products or services. It’s just all a big head ache.

Still trying to connect. Connecting two outdoor smart plugs seemed to go well. Both connected to WiFi on first attempt. I then plugged in a string of LED Christmas lights after making sure they would light when plugged into an outlet. I then plugged the string into the smart plugs. Using the smart plug (first one and then the other) I tried to turn them on and off with the app with no success. I am able to turn the lights on and off manually. I’m hoping to get help tomorrow since today is Thanksgiving.

Not worth the price of free. this app is so blatantly a scam. first thing it did was show the subscription, a lot of apps do that though. when i try to connect my lights all it shows is the pop up for their subscription, it won't even let me connect my lights. in other words the app costs money that you weren't expecting to spend, it's a monthly subscription too. not worth it at all, download genuinely any other app and you should be fine. for anyone else that went through the same thing i did im really sorry for the time that you and i have lost.

Literal garbage scam app DO NOT GET. Bought a smart bulb and input the company name into the search bar and this came up. Assumed it was for my bulb and logged into it and everything only to be told I have to pay for a subscription to use the product. Turns out this app isn’t even for the company. It’s a paid for add that’s purposely kept at the suggested app list when you search so it can just scan you and not even use your item correctly Avoid at all cost and I hope whoever made this app gets cancer

Scam App Warning. I installed this app because the smart lights I purchased required it. First, upon downloading and opening the app the first time I literally had to sit through a game ad. A literal ad! I could not bypass it or decline to watch. It was mandatory. Next, when attempting to connect the lights a subscription screen appeared offering an “upgrade” to allow music syncing etc - things I totally do not need. I tried every way I could and again - no bypassing the screen. So I signed up for a subscription just to get the darn lights hooked up. Once I got through all of that - the app would not connect to the lights. After countless attempts I was able to get two out of 3 lights “connected”. However - when I tried to actually control them using the app it did not work. Thus, I had paid for a subscription for a service that does not work. The money is one thing but the time it took to go through all this and now attempt to recover my subscription cost is unacceptable. Apple you should screen these apps. This is clearly a scammer whose revenue does not derive from the app, but from ads and most likely some serious tracking in the background. Don’t do it. Save yourself the hassle.

High Price. I’m not fooling around and risking either setting up one or two bulbs to try it out for a week and that trial week doesn’t entice me to set up a whole house on an expensive app that I may not like. Then it’s only a week trial and I’m gonna somehow end up paying for a month like it or not. The price structure seems strange. It’s your business but I’d think if you want people to try and use your app it fit more into the monthly break down you’d get with the one time price but like it was annual. Id think you are either getting Knick off no brand name folks here or people that bought this brand or that and just want one app. 12 bucks or 69 is a lot when you don’t know how well it’s gonna go yet and one week free is not enough time if you ask me.

1 star useless app wanting your money for an easy return. leaving a 1 star because all of the setups require a subscription was looking for an alternative for my remote that has broke and i ordered a new one in the mean time just needed something to control my lights (cant turn them off I.E light switch) it’s a smart light that can only be controlled through remotes or direct bluetooth connection, anyways off topic i tried to setup and was met with a prompt to pay for subscriptions? useless just pay for a remote that can control it don’t pay a monthly subscription for something you can buy and only pay one time they want 99hard earned dollars and in return you get access to the most basic use of this app and what many of us downloaded it for ONLY 1 part of the setup didn’t require a subscription it was for main companies mine is from IKEA which surprisingly isn’t even an option inside of the app

Expensive app, bulb not work. They charged me an annual feel of $69, I tried to pay it just one month and for some reason I end up paying by mistake the annual feel. They don’t have a telephone number that the costumer can call so they end up taking my money and I have not even use the app because the “smart bulb” has not work so far even when I have don’t everything to try to make it work. This is not a good service, I definitely don’t recommend neither the lights and the app.

Do not get this app it’s a scam (read pls). I was so exited to use my LED lights, but then they told me to pay for subscription so I did, thinking that it would actually work. I looked at the tutorial multiple times but still couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working, so I looked at the one thing I was supposed to look at a long time ago before I downloaded this, the ratings. I read every single one of them and saw that they had the same issues as I did, so I deleted the app and canceled my subscription. The other thing is, this app looked like it would actually work, but it didn’t, I’m very disappointed in this and how they could do that, but I’m Warning you now so you won’t do it later. DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS APP IT’S A SCAM 😔

So yea, I was scammed too.. I bought the Smart Wi-Fi Bulb Ampoule Wi-Fi Intelligente at Walmart and I experienced the same issues that everyone else said in their reviews. The app kept telling me that my cell phone wasn’t connected to Wi-Fi, but it was!! And you also have to pay for it, which is the only way you’ll be able to set up an account. I paid for the one month subscription (around 13 bucks) and it doesn’t even work. It’s definitely a scam you guys. I need to figure out the correct app, but definitely don’t use this one because unfortunately it is a scam.

Useless. Hi downloaded this app because it pops up when I typed in the name of a product I bought. But before you can even set the light bulb up the app tells you to purchase a subscription plan. At the time I still thought the app was legit so I purchased the $70/year plan. Right after the purchase went through I tried setting up the light bulb and it didn’t work at all I would just sit on the final set page. Within that same hour I contacted the app via email and told them not to finish the process of my payment because the app doesn’t actually operate the light bulb. I let them know I want the subscription cancelled. It has been almost a week and the subscription has now fully processed out of my bank account. I can’t even delete the app or account with them yet because I gotta make sure they refund me. I got one response via email the first night saying to provide screenshots and further explain the issue. Well I have and no response back so now I’m leaving a review this APP is garbage. Now refund my $70 and cancel my subscription.

Accidentally ordered an app I can not use. I purchased a light ring. It had a remote so I thought this was the item I needed. I downloaded and it come up to purchase 6 months $39. I thought I’d try it. Then I went in to set up and found out it’s a totally useless app for what I had bought (light ring). Within the hour I sent eml to cancel asap. It was a mistake. Well I got the response to screen shoot and send more info. My cc already shows pending purchase amount of $42+. I’m retired and a widow and cannot be paying for something I can not use. I only now saw the previous review above. Let’s see if my issue will be resolved quickly. I plan to dispute with my cc company. Fool me once…

Scam! Beware!. AVOID this software!!! I was routed to this instead of the app that came with my lightbulbs. When I was clicking to try to get into the app, I accidentally, somehow paid for lifetime! I swear I had not selected any payment and was trying to click off the payment screen. Like another has said, and email to the company automatically asks for screenshots and no replies afterwards. I tried playing with the software and it does not work reliably either! AVOID this software!!! I plan to contact Apple about this and will follow up with PayPal if they do not resolve it. I suspect that it is a phishing scheme for passwords and such as well.

SCAM!!!!. This app is a total scam it defaults to auto select at $70 in app purchase when you go to select the type of LED light you want controlled and even if you deselect it the app is useless so therefore this is a $70 app which they do not advertise it is it’s a scam these people should be ashamed of themselves I think their mothers would slap them and put them in the corner for a week without food because they are horrible horrible people trying to rip money out of your wallet without you knowing if they were in Sri Lanka they would have their arms cut off for stealing

Huh?. Why have your app listed as free if you cannot use it without a subscription? A subscription that costs more than the lights themselves. No thanks, you might as well list the app for the price of the subscription rather than as free because it’s not actually free, I can’t even hook up a single strand without paying. If I could rate as 0 stars I would because I couldn’t do anything without the subscription. I was on the app for about one minute and it hounded me for a rating 3 times within that minute.

Poor Design and support. This app is total clickbait. Subscription required for any lights to work. Grouping doesn’t work. It’s laughable as when you try to just add a few lights to a room, which is standard in any smart light setup unless you want your entire house going crazy, the app randomly starts selecting all lights and adding them to the group. Support is non existent for a sub pay model app. For the price support should be top notch. There are other apps for less with better features. I only wanted one app to merge two different brands into a scene Hue and Govee. Didn’t work at all. Can’t get a group of lights to setup. House is over 80 Hue lights on two hubs indoor/outdoor and three Govee strings. Still amazed that this shows up as top ad. Not a single positive review in the past 30 days.

Questionable app. I bought the lightbulbs and install the app. The first thing to Aptos is to force me, without any choice to say no, to walk through a series of survey questions. Then at the end it want me to sign up for the premium package for $3.99 a month. It makes it look like there’s no other choice. After I get out of that screen it takes me to another screen that also by default I will be signing up for additional services. This things I believe borderlines a scam. Not very professional since this app is supposed to be the app that I use that comes with my lightbulb.I could’ve accidentally signed up for additional services without knowing I’ll be leaving I have no idea choice

I live how I can walk in a room with my phone lol I have a few people coming to my room so I’m going good with my friends at home this app really helps with that I feel so like I feel that I need a little bit longer than my head home now thanks guys I appreciate your asking for my feed back and I hope this was helpful App works great thanks

Scam. This app does not do anything without an in-app purchase, which it tries very hard to trick the user into doing. A splash screen for their sub comes up whenever you try to do anything and automatically has the pricy “lifetime” option hilighted. I’m positive if I had hit the big “continue” button at the bottom it would have happily charged me, and I’m positive this has tricked users. Instead, there’s a barely visible X in the top left corner to close the ad without purchasing but the app is a brick without it and from other’s descriptions it sounds like it barely does anything even with a purchase. Save your money. Go elsewhere.

Wish I had known!. My first day with the bulbs but also maybe my last. I don’t like that you have to pay so much. It might be cheaper to just have a smart plug. I do like that you can dim the lights but after it first turns on and you start to play with the colors it doesn’t seem there’s a way to get back to the original color. Right now I have a greenish, yellow. There’s nothing to press to go back to the original “light”. I was drawn to this because of the colors but I don’t always want a color or to have to lay so I might be returning.

Bait and switch scam?. I bought pricey Feit bulbs at Costco to try out. Video in store shows easy set up. No mention of extra fees. I have a bedside lamp I’d like to change from bright in morning to soft white at night. When I tried this at home, the app offers “upgrade to premium” for multiple benefits (music, no ads etc) at $7 a month up to $70 lifetime. Fine print details auto renewal, no refund policy after 24 hours, complaints go to arbitration. But NO option to proceed with setting up a bulb without upgrading the app. You can’t keep the “standard” product with advertising and add a bulb. This may be a wonderful product for someone with a “wired/connected” home. But I wasn’t planning on boosting my impulse $20 purchase to $90. Bulbs are going back to Costco. I’ll stick w 40W soft white LED bulbs without tuning.

Umm dont get it💀🧍🏽‍♀️. so i should have looked at the reviews first but like….lesson learned I GUESS. Got the app and it said i had to pay to work my lights and it showed all the different types of lights that it worked with. Cool🤝🏽. SO i paid for 1 month which was only $13. BUT i was trying to connect my lights and it wouldn’t connect so i basically just wasted money on a app that doesn’t work for me. i email them asking for a refund… and the told me to send them a picture of the issue? Crazy ik right. So i told them like i cant do that the lights just wont connect idk what u want me to show u guys just give my money back. NO RESPONSE💀🧍🏽‍♀️like i coulda spent that 13 on something else😒but anyways…yea dont get it…it MAY or MAY NOT work but if it doesn’t ur screwed😁

Wish I Just Bought Better Lights. Downloaded this app wanting to try and turn on my LEDs since the old app wasn’t working. Turns out, you have to pay $13 a month for a light switch. If I wanted to flush my money down the toilet I would’ve used my $13 to buy new lights. What kind of world do we live in that you have to pay to turn on some lights. Is paying the electric bill not enough? Who knew people could actually gauge this much money off of someone through some lights. I hope that whoever pays this much for an overpriced light switch gets their money back when this app goes under.

SCAM👎. If I could give this app 0 stars I would. As soon as I opened the app it asked me to take a survey simply asking what light brands I used, if I had any bulbs, etc. but then as soon as that’s done it asks me to pay $70 for premium! I exit out of that screen and then try to connect my lights. But then it keeps pulling up that payment screen whenever I try to click on the brand of my lights. I HATE this app for what it claims for you to have. They might as well have you pay $70 to get the app. This is such a scam and I do not care how much you think this app will be great, it DOES NOT WORK. Please do not get this app, just get the app that your lights recommend you getting, and if it recommends this app, just find a different universal app for your lights if you wish.

Worst app ever. Please don’t get this app you can’t do anything with it it’s like a useless app whoever rated this a 5 star is clearly bots because they don’t want you or anybody to catch on you need to pay to even use the app 70$ for a year. This premium is just scummy people who need money please don’t get this app at all if you wanna pay 70$ then go ahead but continuing this premium subscription you need to pay even choosing the brand this app is horrible and absolutely useless if you considered getting this app please don’t

Having problems. I am not the brightest bulb in the pack, but I tried to follow the instruction on the box. There was not an app by the name on the box! There were three with similar names. I picked the first. Started the “follow the instructions on your screen.” In the process, a pop up - do you want to up grade. Choose “continue”, got an error message, cleared the error message, and returned to “do you want an upgrade?” Well, you know where “continue” was going to lead! I refuse to pay more for an upgrade than the bulb cost me originally. So I know have an expensive manual light bulb.

BUYER BEWARE - Poor Service. While the purchase is my fault, this app came up 1st in a search for a different brand of smart bulb. I downloaded the app thinking it was the correct one - again my fault. I purchased a subscription and then cancelled it immediately once I found out it was the incorrect app. I spoke to the customer service folks who lead me through a chain of emails finally saying they would offer a refund when I present the purchase documents. I had done so, and the next email I received was: Hello, Thanks for reaching customer support. Unfortunately I'm busy at the moment. If you encountered any bugs, please share the error screenshots. I'll get back within 48 hours. Thanks for your patience. This was the initial welcome email from them, which they sent again after stating they would offer a refund. I repeatedly emailed them after only to get the same response.

Not easy, not even helpful. I bought the direct connect led strip lights for my daughter. Got everything ready to set up on the app. Purchased the lifetime access. None of the instructions describe how to get the led strip lights into pairing mode. My device brand was listed in the options but not led strip lighting like the instructions said. The tutorial video, and there is only one, is for a light bulb. Contacted customer support and they said that it’s my Wi-Fi. Interesting that my Wi-Fi would be the problem when I can’t even get the device or app to the point where my Wi-Fi is even accessible. I just needed to know how to get this specific device into pairing mode. Definitely returning the product. I recommend using a device that is compatible with any other application because the cync app is not helpful and the support team seems incompetent.

Does not work. Installed to control my merkury/geeni and monster lights together. As soon as you attempt to add a light it asks you to pay for a subscription and does not allow you to go further. Deleted within 10 minutes of downloading, after trying multiple times. I am convinced people were bribed/paid to lie and give false positive reviews. Why would you pay for a premium subscription before being able to tell if it even works? From the reviews of people that fell for it and paid the subscription say it still doesn’t work after subscription. Stay away, save your time, and save your money.

Useless without paying. I tried to use this application for some generic light strips. However, every time I go to try and add a device and hit with a pay wall. I am not going to purchase this app just for the sole fact that I’m not sure if it’s even going to work with these light strips they should at least allow you to add your lights and give you limited functionality or at least a trial. I would not recommend this app just for the sole fact that you need to subscribe just to add a device. on top of it, it’s got ads for no reason on an otherwise useless free app. The sad part is, I would probably pay for it if I knew that my lights worked with this app. Note: the light strips are generic and don't really have a brand. Recommendation to the app dev, offering a free trial or allowing people to at least add their devices and just have ads on the app to offset the cost. In my opinion, you are kind of shooting yourself in the foot with your pay model at this moment. -Thanks

Great if you need more stress in your life. This is the shoddiest piece of programming I have ever seen. Not only do you have to pay for a monthly subscription, but it makes you manually enter your wifi password for literally every bulb you connect. But wait, theres more! Every time there is a brown out, or one of the kids flips a light switch twice rapidly, it disconnects the bulbs and they blink on and off all over again. You get to manually reconnect each bulb again (that means manually entering your wifi password again). There is something buggy with the toggle buttons, so when you set up an area and are checking boxes for which connected bulb you want (I hope you wrote down which bulb number goes where because you cant name the bulbs) some checked bulbs might be added but other unchecked boxes will still get added to the group. You end up adding bulbs from the kitchen to your bathroom area, and you get to go back to the kitchen afterwords and reconfigure that again! This is the worst software I have ever encountered. Its like they went out of their way to make it an non-user-friendly as possible. Good job guys, I probably couldnt have made worse software if I was trying!

Not Worth Your Time!. I would not waste my time getting this bulb or this app. I bought the bulb fully came home installed it, downloaded the app to only figure out that I have to pay to be able to work one light. They want you to sign up for premium to be able to add lights and there is no other option but to pay. So at this point it’s not even worth it in the end you’re paying like $100 a year or so just for a light to control. it’s not even worth your time and nowhere on the box or in the app says that you have to pay to add one light and only one light. I will be returning this and I recommend that you do not use it it is not worth time or money!

Scam app. this app is a complete scam do not buy it or use it it is not a good app to use they just waste your money does not work well. I have been using Apple for a long time now and there are some good ones in some bad apps but this app is horrible I hate this app so much it’s worse than any other app I’ve used.

Dishonest setup queues. FRAUDS This app and its developers are trying to rip people off. I got the app, signed up for an account, and as I was trying to finish the set up the screen showed three service upgrade tears. The last one was for a lifetime subscription at just under $80. Without clicking on any of those options I proceeded to press “continue“ and a prompt appeared as if I was getting a new app asking me to confirm by double clicking my side button so I know this was careless I did it and it charged the lifetime subscription amount to my Apple Pay. multiple attempts to contact them and cancel have been met with one automated email that asks me for screenshots (literally impossible to do that) They WILL NOT REPLY via email and the “Report a problem” in app is getting me nothing. 1 star I suppose because the app functions as advertised.

This app is terrible. Everything about this app is terrible. Setting up a light is supposed to be simple. Takes multiple attempts and then seemingly randomly works to set up a light. Also, schedules are completely buggy. They just don’t work - they don’t always turn on or off when scheduled, or one light will work and the others won’t. And when you group lights in a room during setup or try to change them, the configuration changes on its own in rooms that you didn’t even change. Oh, and if you have the subscription and happen to log out of your account, you lose all your settings and then have to set everything back up after you log back in - lights, groupings, everything. I tried emailing support. Their initial response was quick, asking for screen shots. But then I never heard anything back after providing.

Fraudulent. I downloaded the app in error thinking I was getting the Feit Electric app to control my new smart light bulbs. I probably should have paid a little more attention, but this was the first result and appeared to be what I was looking for. The app directs you to enter a credit card number, promises your card won’t be charged, and then immediately charges it. It references a trial period, and indicates you can cancel, but there is not a mechanism in the App to do so. It directs you to cancel via iTunes, but it is not linked to any Apple subscriptions.

Scam, Apple needs to remove this. Total scam, I have literally no idea why there are so many 5 star reviews but this app is garbage. It doesn’t even let you connect to stuff for free. It asks you to pay for a subscription everytime you try to connect a light, and if you hit the X button to get rid of the pop up, it just resets the app to its Home Screen. So you’ll try to connect again, it gives you a pop up to buy its subscription, you hit the X, boom homescreen. Terrible app, definitely not free, and yearly subscription is worth $70

It’s honestly my fault I’ll never use anything from this dev. First things first. I was rather silly. I went and bought three lightbulbs that were color changing. I thought wow, cool, my kids will love this even my older kids will like this flashing colors. This that you can do it on your phone. Wow, great, right? No, not really not at all actually, when you go home, you read the instructions and they tell you to download an app. You download the app, and it starts asking you for a fee. Why am I paying a fee to get my lightbulbs to work?

Give me back my wallet you thief. I’ll be danged if I will overpay for this brand of supposed Bluetooth bulbs and then download an app to control and connect and be expected to pay another $13 if monthly or $70 or more if yearly just to use them. That’s on top of them wanting to snoop through my files and what I do especially when it’s a Chinese company. It won’t connect to Alexa with the blue tooth without the app so instead I will order ones I know will work and these will become hallway and other lights instead. Now I will spend a great deal of time on blue tooth sites warning the unaware of this shady company and why hasn’t Apple cracked down on this unexpected hit to the pocketbook and privacy?

FRAUDULENT SCAM APP - WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!. I want my money back. This app positions itself with searches for smart devices. I download the app thinking I was getting the CYNC app. I paid for lifetime subscription (expensive) only to find out it was not the app I thought it was and worse the app does not work. I am actively pursuing a refund and complaint with Apple. This app should be removed from the App Store. Oh and by the way the actual CYNC does not require any subscription. This app is a scam! UPDATE - Apple refunded my money - thank you Apple for doing the right thing. You should also remove this App from your App Store.

Incorrect App. I hate to say fraud but it seems like fraud. The remote build I purchased has an app but when you search it this one comes up and it closes absolutely nothing. I sent in for a refund after contacting the correct company for the bill. They let me know that there is actually no subscription needed. Because they are an actual reputable company they advised me in how to get a refund from this app. If it is an error I hope it gets rectified. If this is an intention way to bait and switch I hope enough people report this app and have it disabled. Buyer beware.

A Friend's recommendation that transformed my lighting setup. I stumbled upon this Led Light Remote app when a friend shared their excitement about it. I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did! This app has completely transformed the way I control my LED lights. It works flawlessly with my Hue lights, and the ability to customize colors to my heart's content has brought a new level of enjoyment to my daily life. Thanks to my friend and this fantastic app, my lighting setup has never been better!

4.3 stars???? What a joke 😂 COMPLETE RIP OFF!!. This overly priced app is a complete rip off! My daughter wanted it for her LED lights and once she purchased the lifetime option for OVER $70 we realized we made a mistake and the app isn’t even compatible with the lights she has ! I reached out to technical support and only got 1 reply that wasn’t even helpful. I have emailed several times with no response or offer of any type of help to remedy this situation. Terrible customer service. Terrible product ! Save yourself time and money and do not purchase this junk! Not sure how they even have a 4.3 rating ????!

DO NOT PURCHASE. This product is absolute garbage and shouldn’t be allowed in the App Store! First, if you survive the brain aneurysm trying to set up each light there is hope for you- delete the app and throw the bulbs in the trash if you have something to live for. We had a power outage so I had to go back and redo each light but for some reason the app just keeps searching and searching and searching and searching and searching and searching and searching and searching I mean seriously! I’m a tech professional so it’s not me doing something wrong, or not understanding, or overlooking something obvious. Scam. This app is a total scam I got more led lights for Christmas and it the brand is Mercury so I look it up and downloaded it at first it started asking me for servey questions that I answered then it asked me for a subscription and I said no then once I click add a brand I added the brand it then asked me for a subscription and I can’t say no so I’m going to delete it. ITS A SCAM DONT GET IT

Came recommended but doesn’t work for me. My brother in law raves about these lights so I ordered a set of four. After much frustrating failure to connect to all the great features, turns out that they only work with 2.4 Wi-Fi, not 5, the standard that anyone in media uses as well as families with active game players. I have no idea why, when the average American household has 11 connected devices, this company doesn’t accommodate both 2.4 and 5g. I ended up giving the lights away.

Waste of time. Cannot count the hours wasted trying to get this app to do anything. It couldn’t connect to either of two different routers located two feet away. Trying to ‘Add a Network’ was an exercise in futility; after connecting to these same routers only minutes before, they repeatedly reported errors in my password(s). And forget customer service—they never bothered to respond. Ever. And finally, if you choose to waste your time and money on a “Free Trial”, be prepared to pay $$ for the privilege of trying to use this worthless (cr)app. Be forewarned.

Scam. I bought this app after I picked up some led color changing lights made by CYNC, GE. This app forces you to but after the download. It doesn’t work even after you buy it. I thought something was awry with this, so I went back into the App Store, and there it was right below this app, the real app need to control my lights. They work just fine with the correct app. This app is a scam just to get your money. DO NOT BUY THIS APP. IF YOU HAVE LIGHTS BY CYNC, LOOK HARDER FOR A DIFFERENT APP THAT DOES NOT CHARGE YOU. So, even after I got the correct app to control my lights, they s app does not connect to my lights to control them.

This is a trick to get you to pay for a monthly service fee to use a light that. Do not purchase this light you’ve paid for a light that connects to your Wi-Fi, which is a public utility. Basically they are using you to purchase this light to pay for a monthly subscription that is ridiculously priced to have the light work. It doesn’t work without buying their prescription. You also can’t use the unpaid version it just reverse you right back in forces you to pay to use the light do not purchase it do not buy it. This is a trick.

Trash app for a trash product. Why do I need an app to turn in my light? This one is connected to the garbage dump of sleezy apps that it constantly tries to get you to buy. Like a subscription service to turn your lights on.

No Trial As Advertised. The app is terrible and paywalled, and it bills immediately even though it says it’s a free week. Filed for refund immediately. Their ad team is on point though. I mistook this for a manufacturer’s app.

Terrible. I bought the LEd google light bulb that goes with this App. I Read the directions watched the video to set it up. But the App kept telling me I had to pay the premium like 70 for a year no way. I didn’t want the music crap I just wanted the light changer part of it. Waste of money. Not impressed. Was able to set up 4 lights outside for Halloween and went back to change for Thanksgiving. The lights control were no longer in the app and I could only get 2 to reconnect to reprogram. I wrote to them for help and they referred me to the video which was no help for my problem. I paid for a year. It was a waste of money and I am having trouble finding out how to cancel so I don’t get charged next year.

Duped by the app, user beware!!. I was in a hurry to get my lights connected and when I brought up the app I was forced into a survey. Then, while my lights continued to flash (can you say PSYOPS?) I was hit with the last screen that was an upsell. I accidentally selected the onetime payment and gave the $69 for WiFi access to their lights. As of now, I’m extremely displeased with the company, the app, and the lights. I’m now trying to decide wether I just take the hit and dump the lights in the trash and delete the app.

If I could go lower I would.. I bought this light bulb in home depot today and was excited to have different lighting in my room. Come to find out once I’ve downloaded the app you have to pay $50 a year to change lighting? SCAMMMM!!!. I bought a cync bulb from my local Walmart and when trying to connect my bulb to Bluetooth it said I needed to pay for a subscription I said okay that’s fine I paid for the lifetime 70$!!!! One time payment. The payment went through and I still wasn’t able to connect my bulb to the app. You can’t use the app for any features. I will be going to my bank tomorrow to dispute the charge. Why doesn’t apple catch onto these things having scam apps on the App Store

Doesn't work, like customer service. I got the all paid $70 and when I tried to contact customer service I got email, and nothing back. After 2 week of no help requested a refund and till today, no one replies. Apple should look over apps like this. One thing I like on Apple is that all apps are supposed to be legit, but at the same time someone isn't doing their job properly.

I made the mistake of spending my money thinking I had no other choice and that if it didn’t work with my light bulb, Apple would issue me a refund but they DENIED my refund request even after I told them this app did not work, and reported it as a scam. Effortless control and fun. Felt like a legit light wizard! It was smooth sailing for me when connecting my lights. However I recommend this app to my friend, she had a little trouble to connect. She had tried to contact to the support team, please help het out and get everything sorted. Thankyou!

Gross tactics. Bought 2 bulbs yesterday, downloaded the app, and immediately the app asks me to upgrade to premium for $12/month. I back out, start up the app, try to set up the light, and it asks me again to purchase a premium service to use the lightbulb. No where on the box does it say i would need to pay $12 a month to use this lightbulb… ill be returning this asap. Truly horrendous business practice.

Unsatisfactory. Scam!? To even set up an account, you have to pay money to use the app. The setup requires a certain WiFi. Then you find out it doesn’t work with certain lights. When you make a report, someone emails right back that you need to send screenshots of the issue. You send them and no reply. Email them multiple times after and still no reply.

Bad app mid leading.. I thought this was the app for my sync bulbs but it’s not. It basically confused and tricked me into buying a membership and then realized it doesn’t actually work with my lights the sync reveal hd smartbulbs. And the actual app for sync bulbs (the SYNC app) is much better and free. It’s the second one in the list that comes up when you search sync!!! Be aware. Don’t lose pointless money. Also the app is messy and over complicated.

Useless App. I downloaded this app to use for my new led lights and i bought the premium option for $40/6 months and tried connecting my lights and it never worked. I canceled my subscription but also tried changing the plan to $8/week to see if it would cancel the $40 that just got taken from me. But, it took all of that money, the $40 and then the extra $8. I canceled my subscription almost as soon as i purchased it and deleted the app. I want my refund now.

Poor quality products. LED remote-didn’t work when first opened and I was not able to get it to work after 2 days of trying everything in the directions. I spent a few dollars more for this lamp hoping that would mean I was purchasing quality, but my neighbor bought a cheaper light, and it worked flawlessly! I’m disappointed that companies favor making profitable products over quality products.

App Errors. App errors on trying to set up my login ID. Kept giving me an error message and then going in to a spin loop. Tried to deinstall and reinstall it. Tried both my iPad and my iPhone with the same issues. Bought 4 of these light bulbs locally as I wanted to start getting some that I knew I could alows get at my local Menards store. Returning them all tomorrow and will go back to the brand I purchase online. Integration with HomeKit was simple and easy.

Scam. I clicked on a different app and this one ended up being downloaded. I should have paid attention. Then we I set the app you, you have to pay first. After paying, this is a horribly ran app. Wouldn’t connect to anything and instead of linking to my current apps, it was trying to make me factory reset my current connections so I would only be connected here. Don’t waste your money!

Poor Support Service - App doesn’t work. The app is should not be labeled universal. I installed the app and tried to get it to work with SYLVANIA+ light bulbs. Went step by step through the process (up to the 5 minutes each) several times and the lights were not able to connect to the app. I tried to get technical support multiple times and they never answered my requests for help. Waste of time and money.

Horrible service model. Though not advertised anywhere, when I got my smart lightbulbs I learned I would have to pay a monthly subscription (up to $70!!!) just to make them work as advertised. You can’t even add a single light without being forced into the subscription scheme. This is the most ridiculous rip off ever, I would have never bought these and gone with a competitor if I had known. Now I have expensive lightbulbs that do absolutely nothing.

Works great on my wiz lighting smart bulbs!!!. It was a bit hard to try to connect to my smart led bulbs. But then, it works perfectly. I was able to remote control my led lights and it’s an exciting experience. Thank you!!!

The app is missing a lot.. Can’t rename lights so not sure which one is being controlled. Can’t select a specific wireless network. The phone must me on the 2.4 network before trying to connect a bulb. It does not error out with a message that the wireless network is not compatible. Basic stuff guys. Who wrote this app a high school programmer? I would be ashamed to put my name on this app.

Amazingly useless. Never have I ever downloaded a app this useless do not download this app complete scam and fake. Feit Electric. Deceiving come on- doesn’t say customers have to pay to use the product. When signing on app asks you to “upgrade to unlimited bulb connections. Doesn’t say there is or is not a fee for 2 bulb use. I am afraid if I try to use this product at all, there will be a fee for use. The site continues to press customers to upgrade. Despicable marketing. Will return this to COSTCO with my complaint as well as a request to remove it from their shelves.

Useless. I originally bought this app for my Feit electric lights. However when I got passed the pay way I realized fairly quick that the app doesn’t function properly with the light. I spent $70 bucks for a app I will never use and would very much like a refund. Currently trying to figure out how to go about it. Best chance is calling Apple support. This is ridiculous when there is a free app specifically for my light.

Very Annoying Setup!. Hard to get through the setup with all the gates to get through popping up, such as doing a survey, advertising additional services & notifications, prompting for an upgrade to premium services, etc etc. We found this shameless startup process TOTALLY annoying, to say the least. Worth to pay for this. I have doubted this app, I have to pay a small fee to use this. However, I had my lighting game with the Philips Hue. The joy I get from controlling my lights with ease makes it all worth it!

User Beware. You can not even test this app without having to pay. You can not link account with your Hue/Feit accounts, you have to reset all your lights to this specific app. This is frustrating when you have a lot of lights. Once you reset your lights there are limited color options. After I was not please with this app, I emailed support and never heard back. When I cancelled, I did not get my money back. Very frustrating! Applications offer free trial runs for a reason!

Ripoff. I was looking for an app and got this one buy mistake and touched the screen by mistake and it subscribed me and charged me almost $80 dollars. And I can’t find a way to cancel. I emailed and got some lame response that they want pictures. I am retired and on a fixed income the $80 dollars was grocery money until the end of the month. I am not a computer geek they should have a simple way to cancel if you make a mistake. So I have a useless app and worthless customer support.

Basically a scam. I negligently clicked on this app to download instead of the proper app for my hardware. Upon instillation it will immediately prompt you for a subscription. You can exit out of this screen without paying. After that, it asked me to download a QR scanner app - which was actually a poorly disguised advert. Within the first 30 seconds of interacting with this it’s established itself as being deceitful and predatory. Don’t be like me, make sure you’re downloading the correct app.

Remote Light Control works. I had this app for 6 months now. I use the app to control the lights in the house when im away. I use ring to check the lights go on/off. Ive no problems with the BASIC use of the apps. Now the scheduler doesn't work, the color change doesnt work. For my use its doing enough.

Rip-Off. On the first page when you initially open the app, it asks what brand lights you have. Mine were GE, and they had a GE button for me to click. The next step is asking for payment. After I selected a plan, AND PAID, the GE option disappears. The app makes you think it’ll work with your lights, then after you pay, they sweep your brand right out from under you. Very frustrating way to lose money!

Concerned. Before being able to access and use the app it asks to be rated 1 to 5 stars. Then questions how did you find the app and how many lights do you have. A few other questions as well. Then before continuing to the app it asks you which subscription fee do you accept, 1 2 or 3 up to $69. And is ready to charge you before moving to the actual app. I guess it is time say no!

Amazing !!!!. Setting up the initial connection was a bit tricky, but totally worth it for the convenience it brings. I can control my lights from anywhere without hunting for remotes or switches. Kudos to the developers!

100% scam. I recently got new led lights from Amazon.I downloaded the app just in case I lose my remote. When I got on the app I didn’t now we had to purchase a pack. When I tried to connect my Led lights it wouldn’t work and it kept saying I needed to purchase the pack. I was not goin for it I thought it was 100% free it is not and based off these reviews I will not be purchasing anything from this app. I suggest you don’t download it. This app is 100% a SCAM.

Not what you think.. Not only can I not see my own letters for typing this review but this app doesn’t work in conjunction with other brands as promised. I bought some Philips bulbs but when I downloaded the WIZ APP I was then prompted to download Philips hue app as well. It requires a monthly subscription of 13 dollars. I will be returning the bulbs and deleting this useless app. The false advertising on the box for the bulbs was very misleading. I read and followed instructions carefully prior to purchase.

Slimy App. All I want to do is control an outlet with wi-go. After many pop-ups and I got to the create account page and this pod app wants a credit card with all the info. Not gonna do that. This is such a crap app I can’t se this review because it’s white on white so sorry if it is not quite right If rating would take no stars but I think you have to give it at least 1 Have no idea how the app actually works because I’m not going to give them my credit card info to find out.

Nothing on the box said I had to pay per month to use the lightbulb. It has all the neat stuff that tell you how you can use the multi-colored light… you get it home, you have to download an app to use it then if you try to add the light you have to “upgrade to premium” and pay a large amount of money to add the light or else you just paid $25 for a white bulb. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Don’t waste your time on this trash. This app is pretty slimy in the way they show up first in the list, even when specifically and exact searching for the one made for the bulb you’ve purchased. After installing, you have to pay them either monthly or yearly or a “bargain” one-time payment to get any further. It’s a rip off. Just download the correct app from the manufacturer of the bulb you paid for. Shame on apple for allowing these con artists to pollute our phones with this scam!

Quit asking for review before app is used. Dumb. Reviews should not be asked for while installing the app. What do I think? I think you’re narcissistic inequalities are troublesome. I don’t know about the app yet, and yet you’ve wasted my time by asking me to review your app. So stop asking. I’ll review it in my own time, most likely after it’s done installing and in use for some time (weeks or months from now).

However I would love the lights to the fullest and give 5 stars if I had the option to change the color. I bought the lights without knowing I also had to buy a subscription in order to control the color change of the lights.

I have no words, but I’ll try. You purchase smart bulbs. You have to download an app to use them. The app tells you to upgrade to premium for $54 a year. If you don’t want to “access all features,” the ads will literally make it impossible for you to use even one bulb. You try to go through the process and every input you make prompts a full screen ad. These people…. Just get a regular light bulb everybody. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Terrible App. App was required for the GE smart switches I purchased but would not find the switch. I paid for the lifetime subscription and now trying to figure out how to get a refund.

Everything is locked down.. We bought an LED strip/rope light for my daughter’s bedroom. The controller on the light says Good Earth Lighting, inc. Since the lights have a remote, I was curious to see if they have an app. You found it. But if buying their physical product wasn’t enough, anything you do on the app redirects you to the pay wall. In the end, there are better lights with more features at the same price point with apps that don’t steal you blind. Wish I could give zero stars.
