The best!!. I can’t express how greatful I am to have a Barber like Brian. He’s so great with my child! He’s the only one that has allowed anyone to cut his hair without having a pure melt down, an having to just have a bur hair cut!! If your child may suffer from anxiety an fear of hair cuts, the atmosphere is delightful an will ease them. I highly recommend Brian an his staff!!! He’s super great with kids but also I’ll never forgot how great he took care of my dad who fallen leaving the shop. He took the time to go out to him an check on him make sure he was ok, an then personally called me to let me know he had fallen. Just a suggestion always “tip” your server!! They always go beyond there service!! An well worth the extra few dollars, they stand long hours, an think about the continue over an over same customer care without setting down just to make you look fabulous!! Give them something worth being shown appreciate of!! Thank you for what you do!!

Excellent results. I had micro blading done for my brows at Maven Esthetics. Constance was experienced, professional, on time, knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. She clearly explained the process, what it would feel like, provided excellent suggestions and checked in with me throughout the process to make sure I agreed with her ideas and that I was okay. Her studio is clean, peaceful and well lit. She also explained clearly what would happen after the procedure, so there were no surprises. I’m thrilled with my new look! My brows look very natural. If you’re looking for an experienced artist who cares about you and your satisfaction, then you’ve found her at Maven Esthetics.

Best Ever!. J Lucero Lashes Jessica completely changed the look of my eyes with amazing lash extensions! I cannot imagine going a single day without them....they are a must!! She took the time to exam and study what look would suit me best. I have thyroid disease and have lost a number of lashes over time. The outcome was amazing❤️ After my first appointment, she continued to follow up with me to make sure I didn’t have any questions and to see how the lashes were holding up. I would absolutely recommend Jessica to anyone. She also provides other services besides eyelashes!!! Check out her services!!! Thank you Jessica!!!❤️🥰🙏🏼

At First, But…. When I first downloaded the app is was really cool. No problems at all and would have given it a 5 probably then, but now not so much. I mentioned some of the things to my barber and he said he may have to reconsider. I haven’t mentioned the latest issues. Now when I go to sign in, it forces me to create an account which I already have. It does not allow me to just log in with my email. It forces you to create another account in order to proceed. The second thing I noticed is it changes from English to French. The top potion is in French meanwhile the bottom menu is in English. I have a screenshot so it is true. The app looks very nice though. As far as the look it’s better than other apps I have seen. If they could just get these bugs out it would be so much better. Right now I can’t even log on a view my schedule present and future appointments or update or change anything. I cannot access anything. Glad I have notifications setup to have some idea of my appointment. I have to commute during the week so it’s helpful to go back in the app to see what you have going on. Plus I like structure and organization so when you have an app to manage appointments and schedules it is very helpful IF IT WORKS. I saw where they said they have a recent update but I am still having these two issues. I hope it’s a quick fix. If they resolve I will really consider updating my review only if it works consistently.

Customer satisfaction. I’m very particular when it comes with my hair, I’m very cautious about who’s doing my hair. I accidentally end up with a unprofessional. I was very unhappy and thinking who’s going to fix it I checked several people the way they talked to me it looks like it was a lost case. I searched online, I found Celane, I called and she told me don’t worry I’m going to make you a beautiful girl and she did. She did hair nice and very fast, some beautician spent their time talking on the phone while they doing the client hair, not her. She’s someone people can trust, I had no regret finding her, she did a great job and I I’m very happy. I gave her 10 stars, I like everything about her service.

Nice for appointments but..... I originally really liked the app because they had live chat. At least, That was until I tried to add the ability to charge cancellation fees. You have to manually go into each individual appointment and set up a cancellation fee and policy for each appointment booked. Clients don’t have to add a credit card so you can’t charge a cancellation fee unless they add their card after the fact. There is no across the board policy that is applied. The app is supposed to make it more convenient, but if I have to go into each appointment to change/apply the settings, what’s the point? They also charge 3% + 0.20 for each payment processed versus 2.5% with other apps, and payout takes 3 days to reach your account versus next day with other apps. If they could get the payment issues in order and add a description box for services, then it’d be a much better app.

Terrible Booking Platform. This is the worst software I’ve used since software became prevalent in the hair industry. Not user friendly. Deceptively inconvenient. You can click the link that says you’re booking with someone specific of your choosing, but it takes you to Book Now and the barber you chose isn’t chosen. It goes to Anyone (available) and books you with anyone. You think you’re booking with the name you clicked but you’re not. Booksy is aware of the problem but won’t fix it. I’ve lost $1000’s because of guests arriving to their appointments only to find out they’re not booked with who they originally chose. Booksy won’t fix this and it’s not difficult to fix. Not good.

Booksy. The app has always worked fine I think it’s well put together. I am a little disappointed right now because I scheduled an appointment and the Booksy app said it was temporarily unavailable or something I waited an hour, try it again and then it said he’s not accepting any new clients i’ve never had a problem booking an appointment before with my hairdresser. I guess the app is working now there was an update for it and now I have a message saying I owe $20 for today’s no-show, so Booksy just cost me $20 and I really needed a haircut today. It’s been two months. I sat home all day doing nothing I could’ve gone. The issue with the app was yesterday. Hopefully the developer can credit my hairdresser the 20$ no show fee I don’t know how something like this would be handled, but it certainly not fair to make me pay it so if the developer doesn’t I’m gonna have to

Service/Help with App issues is Nonexistent. I’ve made contact to get help with them via the app and via email, yet, I get the same robotic response asking for more details. Not sure how much more detail is needed when I’ve given exact details of the issue. Srsly! This app has potential, but the lack of consideration when help is needed makes the app not worth my time. I have other apps that work perfectly so I’ll stick w/them or I’ll call to make/cancel any appointments. Something as simple as getting my phone to receive a text confirmation shouldn’t be so difficult. Especially, when I always got texts from Booksy then all of a sudden it stopped. Yet, CS keeps telling me that it must be because my number is connected w/another account. Srsly? How so? Anyway, thanks for reading my rant! Hope your experience is a better one 😁

More prompts and reminders for reviews. There are other sites that are a bit more user friendly. However my biggest complaint is about the review system. There should be texts or email notifications letting customers know that the review deadline is approaching. Reviews should be prioritized in this type of setting and reminding clients to do so is a very small feature that could increase client and professional satisfaction. Sending a text 30 minutes after the appointment is insufficient to truly drive that feature especially since people are not typically in a space, could be transiting to next location or with people, to stop and write a review. Additionally if I’m verified in the system, I should be able to leave a review anytime with a caveat saying there was a delay. So unfortunate people have been taken advantage of by lack of reviews

Awful customer support. I’ve removed my email from their mailing list three times over and yet I continue to receiving marking emails from a barber I no longer frequent from this app. Part of the reason I changed my barber is because they canceled my appointment with less than twelve hours notice but still pushed through the charge on my card. I had no feedback options with the app to resolve this but to go to the barber in person and ask why they were charging me for a service they canceled on. I don’t want to do business with this barber but it seems like this app doesn’t care as they continue to spam me. Because of this I requested my account to be deleted. It’s been two weeks and they’re still processing my request. Clearly this app was made not for the safety or satisfaction of the consumer. If your barbershop asks you to download this maybe just keep it cash ✌️

Busted haircuts available. Went to this shop Zeke cuts in Spring Hill Seems like they know what they doing while talking football and having fun with themselves while I getting a haircut. The barbers keep spinning the chairs so u really can’t see what they doing . Kid cutting my hair starts cutting apart without even asking me where it should be? I’m like that’s not even close to where it should be. Then I ask him to clean my neck and he butchers my hairline. His response was I asked him to shave it down? I’m like shave my neck not the back of my head. Total waste of money and time. Not to mention I have to walk around like this until it grows in. So many ships. Stay out of this one

Hair by Candice was an experience!!. After having done “Dominican blowouts,” at least once a year on my hair for the past 3 years, I have remained skeptical about putting my hair through all the trauma. I did some research on elongating my Afro safely and found out about texture release with a new brand I hadn’t heard before— ENTER Candice— the site was easy to navigate and thankfully was able to book a slot on her calendar. I appreciate the afternoon- evening availability as regular 9-5 is not always feasible for everyone. Candice is very knowledgeable about her craft and took her time to answer any questions I had in my hair consultation, prior to service. I respect professionals who are willing to educate their clients where necessary. I had almost no hair shedding, great shampoo and conditioning massage and my texture release was stress- free for my scalp. The conditioning of my hair was evident in the natural sheen of my hair strands when styling was complete. Candice uses quality products for my natural Afro strands. This is the healthiest my hair has looked and felt in about 2 years. The price point might be —up there but it is truly an investment for the care and quality of products and service given and if you plan on growing your strands in a healthy way and keeping it on your head😂 For anyone traumatized by Afro-relaxed transformations? Candice is your go- to for proper therapy for your hair and scalp. Book her today!! You won’t regret the experience!

I went to the appointment but listed as no show because the Stylist was terrible.. Who is next Salon, Kimberly Porter has listed me as a no show so I could not leave a review. Please change that process. The stylist should not be able to block one for leaving a review. you should be able to leave a review. I went to the appointment. I received really terrible service. I asked for a redo but she was so hostile I feared for she will to since she is alone I the Solon. I cancelled a new one booked. She was unprofessional made me wait for two hours before service. I arrived 10 minutes before the 12 pm appointment. She did not start working on my hair until almost 2:00 pm. I had to comb out my own hair. The wig install was terrible, was lifting before I even left the shop. she gave all kinds of excuses. She cut my wig when I only asked that the front be layered. It was not a trim or layering of the back of wig she cut it. Used terrible glue so hair twisted in the back She keep doing treatments for drop in Clients while I waited for 2 hours for service. She worked on my hair for an hour after a two hour wait then refused to fix unless I paid extra. She is a bad stylist.

Cancellation!. Definitely a great app, only thing is I run into a lot of people canceling or not confirming appointment until days later/ day of! Definitely need something that shows how often the service provider cancels, possibly by the days in particular, where it shows that the service provider is likely to cancel if booked on a certain days or a select time window. Also if the service provider does cancel, give us options of scheduling a new appointment with similar service providers around the same time windows of the original appointment. Definitely would help on the last minute cancellation for out of town customers. I know I travel a lot and spend way to much time trying to find someone new to go to if my appointment gets canceled.

Hair Stylist/ How the app can improve. Their are a lot of stylist on this app that take advantage of clients. I started using this app in 2020. I have had no, good experiences so, far. I think stylist don’t want to be detailed about not taking credit cards/ Debit cards because they don’t want new customers not want to book with them and know that their income they bring in can effect wether or not them/ their family qualify for certain pandemic assistance. With that being said Booksy needs to closely monitor the kind of professionals that they allow acess their app. The beauty world is always about reputation. Styles come and go and can always be learned but, if you don’t know how to make a client happy or take advantage of a client by overcharging them or taking extra money then you will NOT last in the beauty world.

Booksy allows providers to manipulate reviews. I had a barber who cancelled on me 8 times over a short period of time during hid end of day shifts. When I finally had enough I wrote a review and gave him a 1 star telling people over time he will take advantage of your loyalty while not returning the courtesy. I fly in and out of Rhode Island every two weeks and the night before I depart I NEEDED these haircuts etc. Very inconvenient to say the least. Point is, he has all 5 star reviews and I can almost guarantee it’s because Booksy allowed him to delete my review. Then I noticed an overwhelming majority of barbers in that area have all 5 star reviews. Nothing else. Some of it may be the barber asking for only 5 stars or don’t post one, but I have experience that Booksy allowed him to remove mine. Makes the review process almost worthless.

Terrible user experience. My barber uses Booksy, but the interface never seems to work as expected. For example, on occasion, my barber will schedule my appt in Booksy and send me a url for the appointment. Clicking on the link will open a browser window which will prompt to take me to the App Store. Arriving at the App Store, I will find a link to open Booksy. Clicking this link will open Booksy, but it will not provide me a view of the appointment. Navigating through the entire app, I can find no appointment record or any kind of confirmation of the pending appointment. For anyone familiar with the old tv series, Get Smart, Booksy appears to work for me about as well as the ‘cone of silence’. I don’t wish to belittle Booksy or it’s developers, but I would like to suggest that the process flow is not without issue. I hope they can enhance the navigation. Thanks.

Sha’ron. It was absolutely amazing!!! The atmosphere was just right, the cleanliness. I was so satisfied!!! Sha’ron listen my hair needs. I wanted a perm, but I have sensitive scalp and I burn fast. She mix the perfect mixture. My hair is bone straight but more importantly, for the first time in years since my mother did my hair, I had no burning scalp and burning on my face around the edges. My hair came out perfectly. I felt beautiful just an all-around beautiful experience. I wasn’t sitting around in the hair salon all day. She got me in and out, which is so important. Hospitality, it was just an amazing experience. I definitely will be going back !!! Everywhere I went people were saying, your hair is so pretty your hair is so pretty, who did your hair, who did your hair?

Disappointed in the no contact. I booked an appointment with one of the stylists on the app. Booksy too my money, and when the hairstylist cancelled with out any notification and didn’t show up Booksy tried to charge my card a cancellation fee. That’s not right because I didn’t cancel the appointment. I held my end of the commitment. Boosky should have a way where they hold the money and if both parties don’t uphold the commitment either cancel the transaction or charge the cancellation. I had no one to contact to report the person that did this. They only allow you to rate if the person did the service, and it shouldn’t be that way. I should be able to leave a review rather the service was rendered or not. There is no telling how many people that she has done this to, and she still end up with a cancellation fee. I wish I could give this app no stars.

DO NOT RECOMMEND, NOT SECURE. [UPDATE] I reached back out to Booksy costumer service and all they did was gaslight me. They refuse to remove the stylist that scammed me, leaving them free to scam others. And I asked about a refund and they said to take it up with my bank. Obviously their boiler plate responses are damage control for their terrible app but I thought they might at least try to “make it right” as they claimed. Turns out they’re liars. [Original post] There is zero accountability for scammers which is unacceptable. I prepaid for an appointment and the stylist never showed. I called Booksy to get my money back and they said there’s nothing I can do other than ask for my money back from the scammer (🙄)or dispute the charge. It’s weeks later and the bank is still investigating. Booksy is completely unaccountable to its customers, has business practices that support and encourage scammers and as a result I’ll be sure to never use it again.

Raw studio. I scheduled an appointment with raw studio after booking I received a text message asking if I can come in a different date. I said that I couldn’t but I can come in a different date if she was not able to do the service on the original date that I had scheduled. It showed on my end she read the message but didn’t respond so a few hours went by I messaged her again asking a confirmation for a time and date on the appointment I had originally booked…, again she read the message and didn’t respond at this point I went ahead and cancelled my appointment the same day that I had scheduled it and booksy still tried to charge me a $10 cancellation fee. Booksy should be aware of people that are in business using this platform rendering services in an unprofessional way and still try to take money from clients.

Booksy. I’m not gonna lie, I really do enjoy this app because it’s very convenient and it’s accurate. The only thing that kinda throws me off is not being able to save photos taken when you leave a review. At first I thought since I took the picture that it would saved automatically but nope. And I went to the review to see if I’ll be able to save if I tapped or tap and hold but all it shows is an “X” and I don’t want to tap because it might delete and it was a fresh picture! There should be an update where you can have the ability to save photos even in reviews made personally.

It could’ve been better🙁. I went to this Salon for the first time yesterday with a friend. Got there at 330pm. They only had 2 nail techs(the owners of the salon). I can honestly say the best part of the visit was the pedicure! The girls who did our pedicures were fantastic! I sat with Tiffany and she glued fake nails on me without even asking, I thought this was the process of gel powder since I’ve never done it in the past. Then she wasn’t able to do the 3 tones on my nails. She had to attempt 2xs, failing both attempts. The other nail tech Tommy ended up fixing my nails but it looked nothing like the pic of the nails I wanted. I was extremely unhappy with the outcome of my nails especially paying $45 for them. They don’t do an actual manicure, no cuticle cutting...NOTHING! We were there from 330pm-645pm at that due to them being short staffed. I wouldn’t come here again or recommend the place to anyone.

Service Review. I’m pleased to say that yesterday was my first experience scheduling with Hairstylist Jamie. First of all, I LOVE MY HAIR! IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Jamie was very pleasant and professional. In minutes, she made me feel right at home. She was super friendly and easy to talk to. The Salon is located in a nice environment. It was nice and clean inside and out. Overall, I received outstanding service. I’m planning on becoming a regular customer. I’ve received so many compliments. I’ve also shared her information with other potential customers who adored my hair. Yes, I would gladly refer friends to her. I’M EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH MY EXPERIENCE!!!!! Rhonda Battle

Diamond Dominican Beauty. The salon has great staff very attentive and care to natural hair care needs extensions and brows on fleek! I’m so impressed with their quality of work and I’m greatful I came from NewYork tryin to find a place that is professional and can treat all types of hair each person is treated w respect and humility and very caring staff from kids to women it’s incredible my hair last longer and they take so good care of my hair I can’t go anywhere else I could only in emergency but this is my go to number 1 spot! App UI is great but core features don’t work. You book this really important cut the day before a very important day. That works pretty well. This app’s flow was well tuned. Days go by and you receive a push notification that your appointment has been changed - tap to confirm this change. Except the notification doesn’t bring you to the appointment in the app to confirm, ok poor development but I can find it from here right? Yeah, sure, but there is no option to confirm a change. Looks no different than a booked appointment. Let’s try using the email that you receive to confirm the change, yeah that too doesn’t take you where you need to be. So where to now? No way to confirm a change like it wants you to 🤷‍♂️ I know what I made it for and can see the time was pushed back. No big deal. A week later I show up for my appointment at the new time but wouldn’t you know I no longer have one. I couldn’t confirm a change so my appointment was dropped. Thanks team!

SO Convenient! EASY to use :). My first time using this scheduling platform and COULDN’T be HAPPIER. SUPER user-friendly from my iPhone, easy to find merchants, SUPER easy and clear on how to navigate- no questioning if you did it right, or where to find salon availability, or what the next step is. VERY clear. My nephew needed a haircut FAST just days away from prom after his barbershop closed permanently. I downloaded Booksy on Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend 2022, checked a few nearby salons, found one with an opening that fit my nephew’s class schedule, and scheduled the appointment for first business day after the holiday weekend: Tuesday at 9:00AM, the FIRST appointment of the day. I was a little tentative about the app’s reliability, but felt better when “Confirmation” came back soon after I booked, and then when the “Reminder” arrived the next day, Monday, just as I had scheduled it for my convenience. Totally psyched to be warmly received at the scheduled appointment (first time clients) via app correspondence only. I assume the Booksy merchant accepts the Booksy customer appointment prior to the confirmation message being generated- therefore the communication reliability is based on how active & responsive the merchant is on the platform. In this case it was 100% success. I’m looking forward to finding other participating merchants- SO. EASY.

Lauren Ashley. I’ve been going to Lauren for my lashes and my haircuts for over a year now and honestly I can say hands down since I’ve been getting my lashes done she does the best work she is the most diligent, focused, detailed lash artist I’ve ever been to yet we have some great conversation as well. She is reasonably priced and she definitely makes accommodations for scheduling. I have to say she is truly a beautiful person on the inside and out and truly loves her clients. I definitely say she is worth the trip to go and see you will love your lashes. You’ll get the most compliments and you will feel beautiful. I have to say I do look forward to my appointments with her.❤️❤️❤️

Customer service is horrible.. I made an appointment a month out for my birthday. I cancelled appointment a few days after and never received a refund. Contacted booksy with no response and no way other way of contact. The rules are you must cancel within 24hrs to receive a refund but I cancelled like 3 weeks in advance. Still. I refund from the prepaid payment and no response from customer service. I do like the app as far as finding local businesses but customer service is non existent and if you miss an appointment don’t bank on getting your funds back unless you charge back it seems. Update to review. Reached out to customer service again and they said to file a charge back as they can not help with refunds and it is totally up to the business. I don’t get why they would accept prepayments through the app but not help when you have an issue but that’s another issue. I’d say just find another app to use or make sure when making appointment that prepayment is not required as this apps customer service literally told me to file a charge back with my card smh. So now to get my money back I have to drive 30 minutes to fight with a barbershop or contact bank and make a charge back. Insane.

Barber's great - not sure about the app. This is my third time to attempt a review of Dom's Barbershop in Poland, Ohio. The first two times it said I chose a nickname that has already been used. If that was the case, I could live with that - but then it threw out everything that I had typed when I clicked OK! Hopefully, the third time will be a charm. First of all - John Monroe at Dom's is first class and an excellent barber. I had to schedule with John upon the recommendation of my nephew because across the line in Pennsylvania, where I live, barbershops have still been shut down because of the pandemic. My wife and daughter suggest that I make John my new regular barber! My pandemic hair had me looking like the "heat miser". John got me all cleaned up and looking as good as this mug could look. I rate John and Dom's Barbershop 5 stars but gave this review a 4 star rating because of my frustration with the app.

Can’t Reach Customer Service. I scheduled an appointment for barber shop business that Id been to before when I saw it here and received a text from the barber saying sorry for the inconvenience they’d changed locations but the new location was a house! This is not true btw the barber shop I was trying to book is still in the same place the barber on the Booksy account just doesn’t work there. And I was not able to cancel after booking the same day appointment without them charging me the full price. So I was charged $45 for not wanting to go to some Guys house for my son’s haircut. The barber blocked me after I told him I didn’t feel comfortable coming there and wanted a refund and I’ve been trying to reach out to Booksy ever since with no luck. I filled out the contact form and I call on a daily bases and am prompted to use in app chat which is not in the app.

It’s great, but…. Time for reviews is limited. I would love to be able to write a specific review for a nail tech who I contacted the same day about a problem that happened with my nails after the appointment. She made am excuse that she had to go to a hospital and ghosted me. A week later I asked if I could have my money back and she said no. That she could give me a DISCOUNT for the next appointment. Of course, I couldn’t write a review then bc it gives you a limited time to write one.. So please, change that, Booksy. Not fair she gets to go about with her business like she wasn’t completely unprofessional. And I really hope they can’t change “Finished” to “No show”..

Poor Business Practices: Passion’s Barbershop. Early this morning I made an appointment for my wife to get a hair cut. The appointment was accepted. Then at 1:03pm the appointment gets canceled. My wife aligned her day for this appointment. I will say that they tried to give us an option of going to another barber that they knew. I understand that they tried to reschedule for another day. I understand that they will get more money from braiding someone’s hair. It does not excuse them canceling the appointment, especially with so little time to find someone else. My wife needed to get her hair done today. We have an event we are attending tomorrow. Now I am trying to find another barber but it appears that no one is available. We don’t have the time to do any walk-ins. The only reason why I am putting this below is because I couldn’t put it with why I cancelled my appointment. Below is the message we received from Passion’s. Hello Mrs L***** ******. I believe your husband booked a trim for your frohawk. I have a walk in client that requested braids. The service she requested will leave me booked up for the rest of the day. Please walk into Markstyles Barbership in Menlo Park they will be able to help you Or we can reschedule for Monday. This app lied to me and forgot something. I live in a state that has started the process of closing back up for Coronavirus. I have been trying to get a haircut in before it’s too late and all the barbershops in my area are appointment only. The one I usually go too was booking through this app I had attempted to book a haircut for yesterday. However, this app neglected to be updated to the fact that the barber I had booked from said shop was out of town and could potentially come back with Covid. This app lets you book appointments without having any idea if not only will you get your appointment but also if the place you’re booking your appointment at is taking proper Coronavirus measures other then following appointment only. I had to reschedule with someone else and now I have to worry about their Coronavirus precautions. Find some other way to book or find a different place rather then use this app.

They care about their app. I had ran into an issue where the “book again” button didn’t work and I had to search the name of the barber and do everything over again. I left a review on that complaining. I wasn’t expecting anything of it but then the support team replied saying to contact for more help. But I didn’t because I didn’t care enough to go through all that. Now I’m looking to see if any of my apps need updating and I see Booksy. They rolled out an update to fix the book again button! Shoutout to them because they actually take every little thing seriously.

Terrible. I booked a service with Twins Hair Salon the glam bar. Althea Williams very unprofessional as a business owner, she didn’t acknowledge me nor came to the door to at least speak with me. When another person came to talk to me she yelled not to give me information. I drove 2 hours away and if you have certain policies in place send a reminder, but, it is not ok for someone yo give her a deposit to not even acknowledge their presence. I paid $84 for a down payment to get hair services and she didn’t let me in to evaluate my hair she didn’t acknowledge my presence and treated me very rudely. She has horrible reviews on Yelp. I looked up to see if she’s even licensed because the place had no signs looked like they are running and illegal shop. I will never use Booksy because it’s not user friendly and doesn’t seem to lookup the businesses they’re working with. This is not going to stay like this i will get my money back i work to hard to just give my money away

KANDELA STYLEZ. I was told about Kandela by Sabrina. She told me how much her Husband and Children goes to Kandela Stylez and how much they always love their haircuts. Being new to Charlotte from Florida, I wasn’t have much luck with someone who does haircuts like my Barber back home. She gave me his information and I booked an appointment with him on Booksy (First time ever hearing of this App or using it). My appointment with Kandela was at 6:30pm, I arrived at 6:15p because I didn’t know the area. I walked in and told him my name, he told me to have a seat., he was very Friendly. I sat in his chair at 6:35pm and he introduced himself officially. I told him what I wanted and he began to cut my Natural hair. He explained what he was doing and gave me some pointers about Enhancements. I was very pleased with my hair cut, I love it. My Daughter was shocked when I got back in the car with my Low Hair Cut, she really liked it. KANDELA STYLEZ will definitely be my Barber from now on. I will not be going anywhere else. It’s about 1/2 hour from where I live but it was well worth the drive. Kandela, thank you for your Friendly Service and Professionalism.

Stylesbyshortcake. What a wonderful experience with Mrs Tiffany at stylesbyshortcake!! I have been thinking about starting locs for over two years, and during this time Mrs Tiffany has been my sons loctician. During his retwist visits, I have been constantly having “mini” consultations with Mrs Tiffany about starting my locs. She was so helpful, kind, and full of knowledge!! Finally…. I did it!! I am so pleased!! Mrs Tiffany has a skill that I cannot put into words!!! Just simply put “magic hands”. She is very professional. Also, she gives recommendations for a healthy loc journey, which I think is the icing on the cake!! I would give her a higher rating if I could!!! Cheryl A.

Misleading!. This app misleadingly claims to support Apple Pay; however, it is not possible to complete a payment using Apple Pay (I tried four different cards, across diverse card brands, including an Apple Card). Instead, the app falsely claims the card was declined—I checked with the insurers, and no card authorization requests were sent. However, the very same cards work fine when entered directly into the app. Bottom line: Apple Pay is a benefit to consumers (and merchants) in terms of security. The implementation inside of apps is not rocket science. Naturally, this app does not need to support it (though I would prefer they did), but if they are going to expose the interface and be tagged in the App Store as supporting Apple Pay, it should work. Not just work in some narrow case, but for all card payments. Perhaps this is an innocent bug, but it feels like a bait-and-switch. (Response to Developer Reply: Sorry—not interested in doing your QC for you. You already lost the customer. Apple Pay is a top priority feature. It should work every time, with every card supported by your platform.)

Auto books appointments without being asked - please fix. I’ve used Booksy for literally one place, a barber shop nearby. I don’t go often because I just don’t need to or want to, but for whatever reason after some time (perhaps what most people would deem a regular amount of time for a haircut, about 2 months) I get a notification that my appointment has been booked for that barbershop. I cancel, and it’s been several times in the last 12 months where it continues to book an appointment over the next few days (after initial phantom booking). As far as I can tell, there’s no way to prevent the app from doing so, without my deleting account. I might, but otherwise someone should fix this. Good thing I don’t have my payment info on this app - I fear that phantom booking might lead to unnecessary charges.

Beware of scammer businesses through Booksy!. I called this business “Styled by Moffett” on Booksy to ensure she had availability before booking an appointment for my daughter and I. She answers and confirms that she has availability for the next day. So I go ahead and book and prepay $160 for the service. She then tells me the hair to buy and everything. She then says she will confirm the appointment for 8 am the next day. Sunday morning comes and I’m heading to the appointment. I happen to look at the app and the girl NEVER CONFIRMED THE APPOINTMENT even though she told me to go ahead and book! She then proceeds to say she “overbooked” herself . I then tel her I was still charged but she claim she didn’t see it on Booksy end, so she cancels it. It is now Friday, and I have no word from her or Booksy. Not only did I lose $160, but Booksy has yet to reach back out and contact me or the young lady since the issue began. This screams SCAM and showcases a serious lack of professionalism on both ends. It’s sad to say that Booksy is promoting businesses as such. This is a total scam, and I will be spreading the news thus far!

App crashed before my appointment!. This is not the first time this has happened either so I am extremely upset. I booked a haircut appointment with my barber expecting for the app to be functioning before my appointment. Literally an hour before my appointment I go to the Booksy app to make sure my appointment hasn’t changed or to double check the address and the app is not working. The app says cannot connect to the server please try again in a few minutes, which is actually hours. And the fact that it only did it right before my appointment started twice makes me even more mad. If I hadn’t texted the barbers phone number outside of the app days before, I wouldn’t even have the address to the place to know where I’m going because your app is unreliable. There was even a update available so I updated the app and still couldn’t get on the app.

Ms. Kim the BEST on the WEST. GoodMorning!!! My sister and I been here in LV since 2006, seeking a stylist. Last Friday we saw a lady with finger waves and they were really really well done. My sister asked her who did her hair and she said Kim at WHO’s NEXT. We went to Kim’s shop and immediately booked for her for the following day. Kim is kind, professional, fast and have great knowledge of hair. She is focused on the hair when she is doing it and not focusing on talking. She is very observable of the shop. She was sweeping hair from under your feet in between her styling your hair. The shop and bathroom is very clean. She gave great advice to have a healthy scalp and hair. I will be with Kim for my life span. She is awesome. Her prices are very affordable. If you are looking for a stylist, try Kim and your review will be longer than mine. Happy Tuesday!!! Lillie

Easy for people to get scammed. There needs to be a better system or a better way to communicate with the shop owners when booking an appointment you receive a confirmation email however I’ve already pay for my deposit but the person who them self is unaware of my appointment. I had no way to communicate with the person I called the number multiple times I text multiple times I even search for the Instagram to get to communication with this person and when I called Booksy’s customer service all they did was give me the same phone number and didn’t offer any help on how to communicate with the person more. I was adviced to contact my bank to get the money back. Maybe they shouldn’t require a deposit or mandatory deposit maybe they should only have you put a card on file and allow a full refund.

Typing Field. I am not sure how to describe what I wonder could be a glitch. As I tried to type and leave a review on the app, I spend more time trying to put the cursor where I needed it to be as I was taken bounced uncontrollably back to the bottom or top of the field. It was so crazy at times I tried to just type everything without having the ability to see what I was typing; it was trying to type but not seeing if autocorrect had done something or if I typed too fast and spelled something wrong. I see that as I leave a review I am able to type without any of the above.

Consistently the Best. I only see Flor and Erika, so, I can’t speak for other technicians but these two young women are excellent. After going to every nail salon in the area over many years and having multiple problems with being cut or peeling polish, I can honestly say I have never had an issue with Erika and Flor. They are both perfectionists and they remedy even the tiniest flaw. The salon is very clean and the staff is pleasant. My only negative is patrons who make phone calls while receiving services. Most people go for a pedi to relax. This recent Sunday and obnoxious customer made multiple loud phone calls. Overall, this is a 5 star salon.

I’m deleting this app. I like the ease of finding a stylist to do a service but I won’t comeback to using his anymore. My first stylist made it somewhat hard to get the service done because she had to stop every ten minutes to attend to her kids. This wasn’t the worst yet. I find a new stylist and this time the stylist never showed up to any of the appointments set but had the nerve to schedule me as a no show for an appointment they had set. What doesn’t make sense is that I get labeled as a no show which stops me from writing a review for a service I never received. The crazy part is that the stylist had an address online but they are mobile so I paid a deposit and was prepared to pay the rest for the service to come to me. I’m deleting my account today this is just a mess.

Top notch service!. I first met Victor when I brought my son into NKG Barbershop about six month ago. After witnessing some of the professional trim and fade skills on a fellow classmate from a dude referred to as Vic Stylez, my son wanted to experience it firsthand. What Victor had sculpted was top notch; accentuating his curls that perfectly complemented my son’s personality! In other words, he loved it! Our most recent visit was to hook my son up with another one of Victor’s premiere “stylez,” but also to see what he could do with Pop’s do. Again, Victor did NOT disappoint and cleaned up my fro, and beard! In fact, Victor’s talents crafted me a look that knocked quite a few years off my age, and I am grateful for that! In addition to being a master of the clippers, Victor shared some great tips on navigating my cowlicks and finding the natural grain of my hair to achieve the best look. Chop It up Barbershop Schertz. I will start with I made my appt through Booksy for 9am.. I read majority of the reviews great reviews.. this was my first time going to this barbershop.. my appt was confirmed for 9am with Bam.. worst experience ever.. I arrived at my appt 10 mins early.. the owner of the shop came and opened the shop about 9:10 am… he greats me and he ask who do I have an appt with, I say Bam he is like ok and went to the back.. another barber comes in go straight to the back, literally a 3rd barber comes in his name is Milli, he ask who I am waiting for, I say Bam, he call Bam.. Bam tells him he isn’t going to make the appt. Bam never tried calling me or apologize for skipping the appt even though it was confirmed. Milli tells me he would take .. I have to thank him for stepping up but .. my haircut was so bad everyone was like “I thought you got a haircut “. The reason was because he was a newbie whom literally just received his certificate while I was sitting in his chair. He had another barber help him to put a design in my hair… freaking horrible… I won’t ever return.. those who giving 4&5 stars… lucky you. Tanya

Average and could do better. Why create a booking app when it’s impossible to change or modify a current booking without losing it? I booked two appointments (one after the other) and had to cancel the first one. The app gives you the ability to modify your bookings (cancel the first appointment) but it doesn’t have the smarts to recognize that the appointment that you’ve cancelled is now available so I could bring the second appointment forward. Basic stuff.

Horrible app, but I have no choice!!. I initially had high hopes for this app. Have had it for months now and maybe 1/5 times I’ll have a smooth experience: 1. Wouldn’t let me book things in my home city when I was abroad; only showed me options for japan and Canada...I live in Australia. 2. Routinely logs me out of the app and then when I try and login again it just hangs on the login page 3. Multiple crashes recently which my barber said was an issue 4. See #2 again, because this happens all the time and I eventually need to call and book, which defeats the point of this app It’s gotten to the point where I have not gone to my usual barber because it was so annoying trying to schedule through this app and they are so busy I need to book well in advance Sadly I have no alternative so I can only hope the developers see this and change whatever the hell they’re doing with this thing

Can not delete your account. Apparently once you’ve setup an account you can’t delete or remove your personal info and the supporting help/FAQ are a mess and lacking info.

Dream cutz barber. He’s a great barber with lot of patience. I took my 6years old that don’t normally sit still to cut his hair. But, David did a great job handling him well. Gave a very nice cut too.

Useful but glitchy. I’ve used this app to book local services and it is great for that purpose. However the app simply doesn’t allow me to consistently use my account. It is always logging me out, and disallows me to write reviews. I have tried connecting my phone # to the app (which seems to be the most utilized form of ID on the platform), but it fails to ever send me a confirmation code. In order to log in, every single time I want to book I have to delete and redownload the app; somehow this logs me in upon reopening the app, but it seems to be a weird state where I cannot use all of its features. Fix these issues and the app will be 4-stars imo.

Nail Box Ajax. I had a mani- Pedi Regular manicure. Did a good job at shaping nails and toes, BUT cut my finger which bleed and 3 days later still a big red sore. Plus the nail polish sucked. I had to re do it myself. They did give me 5 dollars off but I am going away on vacation and wanted nice nails. As you know we donot do a professional job at home. As to say I will not be going back there.

App is broken. Finally was able to create an account after many attempts at not sending the confirmation code via txt. All of a sudden it signs out by itself and then there’s no option to sign in again, only to sign up all over again. Good concept, Horrible experience and UI design overall. It won’t be hard for another app with the same concept to take some of the market share. Just saying.

If you know you know. Genuine service. Took my son there for the first time and he wouldn’t get out of the vehicle. Luckily Jay was outside and came over. Got him in the doors, in the chair, started with a comb and eventually got him to agree to a cut. Now it’s my sons favourite place to go. Great atmosphere, great conversation and always nice to visit with his daughter and/or pup.

Booksy does just that and helps my customers find me with ease and book whatever time is convenient for them and my schedule. Great shop and owner. What impressed me about Jay’s business is that he genuinely wants his customer’s to be happy with their cuts and respects his clients’wishes rather than doing the typical guy cut. Also he could probably do 10 cuts an hour, but he is careful to book each person with enough time to do a good haircut. Appt process EASY, CONFUSION w/MY PH# ANNOYING!!!. I keep getting appt. confirmations for an appt that is NOT Mines in a town 4 hrs away. I’ve called the business twice and told them of error but they tell me it’s not them, the issue is Booksy Hmmmm really?.... Doesn’t take a genius to realize that the the process/booking/confirmation that Booksy sends out is what gets PUT INTO They System by a human. But there I am... still getting these alerts and having to cancel them over n over n over again! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤨

Sort of works. I could not create a new account via a booksy store website so I got this app. I could not signup in the app so I did the apple login. I could not checkout for the appointment in the app as it was stuck on adding a credit card. I clicked save but nothing, repeat and nothing, back and not saved, so I added the card to my profile and similarly it took multiple tries. Eventually it added the credit card but not visible when I viewed payments. Back to home and then payments and still none. After I restarted the app the payment was visible and I was able to book an appointment. Clearly some things can be improved.

App keeps shutting down!. This has been happening the last few days. Anytime I go into Booksy to Rebook a service is shuts down I tried selecting my services from scratch and it shuts down. When I tried to select a service again and select an add on it would let me click the "+" to add the add on service and it woudlnt let me select anywhere on the add on to actually add it on. And then guess what it shut down! I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and checked for updates and its completely updated. If I try to select a service and Im lucky enough to get to the calendar it shuts down. Please fix this! Id like to schedule an appointment!!!!

App has sudden glitches. I’ve been using Booksy now for a few years; through it I make my nail appointment, lash and brow appointments. However, lately every time I use the app it logs me out. Today I tried adding my next appointment to my calendar and it won’t let me because I have to give permission to access calendars; like I said, I’ve been using Booksy for about almost three years, meaning the access has been allowed long ago; I have never changed my settings in the app and it’s never given me an error message for nothing regarding the app until recent weeks/months. I’ve logged out, logged back in and I’m still having issues with the Booksy app.

Shellz Beauty Salon-Terrible. Used Booksy due to a friend referral only to come across an unprofessional salon. I booked my appointment 2 weeks in advance they confirmed I showed up to my appointment 10 minutes early only to get to the door and of course it was locked. I called the company twice left a voicemail still waited for someone to open the door or call me back. Since they wasted my time I took the extra time to leave an honest review on the company. 10 minutes after they called me back. I did not answer I left and scheduled an appointment with a PROFESSIONAL SALON with out using Booksy and Shellz Beauty Bar thought it would be nice to send me a personal text 4 HOURS after everything has been said and done. I will never try to go back to that salon let alone use this app. Completely dissatisfied!

Botox. I have received Botox injections many times in the past, without any side effects. At the onset of my appointment at Zinni family esthetics I was told I needed 35 units for $350, when I got to checkout I was charged $525 and told I received 55 units which was way too much. My brows are jacked up as well as my eye lids? When I contacted Elizabeth Zinni about the problem, she said give it two weeks and it would be fine if not she would add additional Botox. Are you kidding me…???After three weeks I contacted her with photos to show the horrendous results, she said I have a case of mild ptosis which is common and should resolve in a few weeks. This ordeal started on July 27, 2022 it is now September 20 and the situation has not corrected itself. I rate this business zero stars.

Great App. I used Booksy to schedule a hair appointment for my son and usually I would have to wait as it was after hours for the barber shop but it was quick easy booking we got in the next day at My Cut Barbershop in Batavia NY….. we arrived early and we’re taken immediately they did an amazing job on my sons hair and we were in and out and we were done about 5 minutes after our original appointment should have started I definitely recommend using this app to schedule your appointments and from my experience they partner with outstanding businesses

Preferred Payment Method. The app is great! Easy to use and find local barbers. This is a suggested improvement for the app experience. There should be a place for the professional to list their preferred method of payment. I never know when meeting the professional if they prefer cash, card or some other form of payment. I’ve had to leave an establishment and go find an atm to pay since the professional only accepted cash and I hardly ever carry cash. It would have been handy to have that info ahead of time.

Don’t follow basic COVID safety rules. I recently booked an appointment with a barber for a haircut through Booksy and in the app it stated that the barber was following health safety rules, which is included wearing mask. I arrived early for my appointment and noticed that my barber and other barbers in the shop weren’t wearing a mask and he was cutting his previous client. I left the shop to be safe and called booksy to avoid the cancellation fee and get refund, however, the Booksy rep gave me the run around and told me to contact the barber directly for a refund and that they couldn’t do anything. I called the barber immediately afterward to avoid the cancellation fee, however he refused to refund me big surprise. It’s unacceptable that Booksy doesn’t care about the health of its patrons and supports false advertising

Auto Cancellation Fee needs to be fixed. I love the ease of booking online but no one should be charged for cancelling an appt within MINUTES of booking, especially if IT HASN’T BEEN CONFIRMED. I made an appt and cancelled it right away, BEFORE it was even confirmed with salon. I was charged $75 anyway. That isn’t right. I’m going to try and resolve with the salon since I ended up rebooking the same time anyway. App developers should allow a 5-10 minute window from booking to cancel regardless of the deadline provided by salon. It’s easy for a user to make a mistake. If they catch it right away, they shouldn’t be penalized for going in and cancelling within minutes.

Derrick at Oasis barber shop Lincoln NE. Derrick is neither a barber or a stylist, he is an artist. I have been taking my 14 year old grandson to Derrick for his fade and haircuts. Even though a haircut is booked for a 15 minute block, Derrick has never spend less than 45 minutes to an hour meticulously cutting, shaping, trimming and designing the perfect cut to match my grandson’s personal style. His attention to detail and symmetry is unparalleled. He has totally underpriced his skill level and service quality. Irrespective of the type cut or style requested I would always recommend giving Derrick a try. Steve Mason

312 men’s barbershop. What can I say? I’ve been coming to 312 men’s barbershop for more than 14 years. The owner Fred is an outstanding barber and a great friend. His goal at 312 men’s barbershop is for u to have the best experience and service u can get in Chicago. I personally won’t let anyone give me a Cut than the crew at 312. His crew is the best u can find in town. Fred and his crew don’t mess around and take pride at the work and afford they put in so every costumer leave happier then he came in. So if u looking for a new barber or barbershop 312 men’s barbershop is where u want to be!!!

Not Intuitive. Tried to make an appointment for a local barber who uses Booksy in order to schedule appointments so I downloaded it. Set up an account on the app and completed what I thought was the appointment booking. I walk into my appointment and the barber has no idea about my appointment at all and had just booked another client. I said yes that I used Booksy and he asked if it was my first time using the app to which I replied yes. He said, “ahhh yeah this happens all the time. There’s a portion where you have to save the account then go and book the appointment but it’s not intuitive. This is definitely not the first time this has happened.” I thanked him and left, I wrote this review, and now promptly deleting the app never to use again. 🫡

Hoping for improved calendar mgmt. Love the app. Easy to book appointments. Recently when I rescheduled an appointment i still got an option to add the new date to my calendar. However I missed my appointment because the old date was still in my calendar. Just threw off my entire day :( Ultimately that’s on me as the user to make sure I’m clear on my appt date but would be great if the app offered better synchronization or AI for calendar entry mgmt. If I have the app permission to my calendar, it would be great if the app could check for an existing calendar entry related to the appointment I’m changing, and replace that old entry with the new one.

worst app ever made. Everytime the salon I use sends me appointment changes through text the hyperlink from Booksy never sends me to the URL on a webpage it only sends me to the App Store- to force people to download this awful awful app. After I was forced to download this awful awful app and set it up then the salon had to make another change and asked me to confirm the changed appointment but of course when they sent me another link to confirm through text the hyperlink to Booksy only gave me 2 choices- change or cancel. There is no “confirm.” This app is atrociously bad and poorly made, I feel sorry for any stylists etc that use this garbage. I’m calling the salon and telling them from now on I will only make appointments through phone call.

Appointments. Inside Booksy you cannot create reoccurring appointments and it is so slow having to switch to show full month and then select the date, then the time and finally the service. Schedule appointment and then start all over again following the same drawn out slow process. There needs to be an option for clients to select reoccurring appointment for a certain day of the week and time as well as service. So that clients who schedule regularly and in advance can quickly schedule all their appointments for an entire year without having to do 365 slow drawn out appointments one at a time. Time is valuable and Booksy does not value clients time at all. I truly hate that this booking app does not have a reoccurring option for clients. Fix this and your app will be superb!!!

Amazing quality service!!!. I found Believe on Google and their great reviews caught my attention. People were right!! This place is great. The staff is highly attentive and they make sure you are fully satisfied with your service. I have been to this salon twice already. The first time Tania did my root touch-up and color care. My hair looked amazing! The second time, Joysette did the Brazilian Deluxe and I am so happy with the results. The owner is also super sweet and approachable. I love Believe and I will continue to get my hair done there. I absolutely recommend!

Awful. I was a Genbook client for the last couple years and have just merged to Booksy by default. I have had to reach out multiple times as the appointments I booked for the remainder of the year are not showing on my profile. The invite from the business I work with never comes through. The messages sent to clients are sent in different times than selected and don’t have the message input. There are many hoops to jump through as a client of a business and a business owner that are creating issues that impact your business financially. This merger was not thought out well and is negatively impacting small businesses. Also, each time I try to access support in the new app I am directed to writing a review on here or Facebook. There are no support contacts on the app.

Namels Barber shop / Salon. Namels is best the Husband / Wife shop in Boston! Sonja who runs the Salon side of the shop is one of the Best stylists in Boston period! She’s a colonist, a weave and style artist, and is like Edward scissor hands when it comes to a cut. Derrick Runs the Barber side of the shop, and by the time he finish his precision cut to the beard and hair, you think you’re looking at a magazine! This Duo’s hands are blessed and they are in the right arena to flourish. So if you want to look your best whether you’re in jeans or a suit, go to Namels because once your hair is slayed, it won’t matter what you have on!!! Regina

It’s good for what it does. The Booksy app is good for what it’s supposed to do. However, there are missing features that need to be added. When a payment is declined there’s only the option to retry or edit the card; I should be able to leave the menu as a whole without having to close and restart the app. Secondly, I should be able to share people’s business with ease (because I didn’t see a share business link or button, could just be me though). When I get on the Booksy app, I should have a listing of the business(service) I just used, I shouldn’t have to search for the business all over again. Just my opinion as a Dev.

Was wayyyyy better before the update!. This used to be my favorite way to book services but after the update, I’d rather call my barber!!! It used to be extremely convenient. Now you literally have to play a game of guess when the barber is available by going back and forth between time slots and every slot you choose you have to re-select to go you want to book as opposed to th wild way when you could have your staffer selected and just scroll through the time slots available. This change has literally made me take 5x longer to be able to book services. I HATE this upgrade and will try to get my barber to switch to something else ASAP!!!!!!

Really good!. This app is overall awesome! One feature I wish was available is the ability to communicate with vendor. To 1) communicate what you’re looking for/expecting in the appointment so the specialist can be prepared and let you know if they feel comfortable 2)easily communicate if you’re running late or could arrive early 3)Give explanation for cancellation. I know working in appt based industry myself it can be frustrating when someone cancels. Especially not knowing why nor being able to immediately reschedule.

My hair appointment plug since 2021. I’m giving a 5star because Booksy has been my go to since 2021 when I came across the app. Been new to Indy I do not know a lot of stylist or none at all😊. Booksy has always link me up with some good stylist I have been privileged to work with. It’s safe and efficient. They also communicate with you on time on your appointment both scheduling and confirmation so your mind is at ease. Thanks Booksy, keep up the good work👍.

Safe guarding my financials. This a great app I used to find professionals to style my child”s hair. Upon trying to make my 4th appointment, the app would not let me book an appointment without my credit card information. I do not feel safe giving an app my personal financial information without hesitation. There does not seem to be a way to delete my credit card information and there is never phone number to contact Booksy if needed. Trying to delete my account. My request was sent in March of 2023. Two months later they are still in the process of deleting. Remember people, Booksy is a scheduling app for businesses. Never put your credit card information in an app where they won’t provide you a direct telephone number or address for Booksy. You have been warned.

Lettie’s Beauty Salon. i have tried posting a review 3 times & each time i was cut off & wasn’t able to finish, so i’m going to try this again. lettie is very professional & a beautiful woman inside & out. she is a very caring person who cares about taking good care of your hair. she is a person that will go way & beyond the call of duty to make sure that you are pleased with your hair before leaving her salon. i have a very tender scalp & when she works on my hair, because i get my hair braided, she is very gentle & always ask if she is braiding to tight, what a sweetheart. all i can say is that when you go to her salon, you will not be disappointed because she is really good & she knows hair of all cultures. lettie will always be blessed because of all the things she does to help others & to please her clients. may Jesus continue to bless her & her family.🙏 have a blessed & a wonderful weekend & always remember that Jesus loves you all & your families, God bless🙏😊

An Anointed Lovely Salon. God sent me here to Cattleya. She’s not only an awesome stylist but she has a very blessed heart. While styling Cattleya always stops and asks how pleased I was. She has growing fingers and makes you feel warm and welcome in her chair. It’s very refreshing to meet someone who is so talented at her craft as well as a good person. Cattleya really cares for people and is about the quality of her work. My hair always looks exceptional!!! You will never go wrong booking with Cattleya!!! May everything she touches turn to gold. Great Place!. My son has had the same barber for 8 years, since he was a little baby. We just recently moved to Marion Oaks and came across King Cutz. So glad we did, they are amazing! Hours are great, easy to schedule appointments and everyone was so nice! The best part is that I feel like we have found our new barber, Alex. He did a great job! My son was nervous, understandably but from the moment he sat in the chair he was grinning ear to ear. Thank you Alex for making my son smile! We will see you all again soon!

Finally. For years and maybe decades when you wanted a haircut (at least I know for me) you always had to have cash. It wasn’t a problem until everything was becoming digital even your money but you always needed cash to go to the barbershop. This app has changed the game because they’ve gone digital and come up with the times and also you can find exactly what you need in a quick search. You either update with the times or get left behind.

Good app, but needing more features.. Currently, when leaving a review the keyboard covers up the text area where you are typing, making it un-viewable and difficult to edit. Would like to request some features, that would benefit both customers and vendors: 1) A “Notes” section on the vendor’s page. This would be for notes for things like my barber for example. 2) An ability to upload photos in the “Notes” section for vendors like barber. Plus, the option to “Allow” vendors to use uploaded photos for their portfolio.

iCal Export and Push Notifications Have Stopped Working. This app has made it super easy to book appointments with my barber. I love the ability to quickly add appointments to my calendar. However, over the past couple of months I’ve not been receiving push notifications about appointments changes or reminders. I also tried to add my latest appointment to my calendar, but the app is saying I need to grant iCal access (which I have). I just updated the app today and the iCal export issue persists. Something isn’t right with the app, and I hope these issues are rectified soon.

Love the app— hate how you can’t easily copy and paste the stylist’s address. I’m usually rushing out the door to make my appointment on time. When I open the iPhone app to grab the address of the stylist locations for some reason I have to type the whole thing in manually in my directions app. When you click on the address in the app it just takes you to the stylist’s homepage which is super annoying. I’ve definitely typed it in incorrectly a few times and had to reroute so it would be nice if tapping the address could send you to Apple Maps/Waze/google maps or at least let you copy it with one tap

New design is great but.... I’ve been using booksy for a while now and had some gripes with it. Those have mainly all been alleviated with the new redesign but one Manipur ANNOYING flaw. Ever time I open the app it always ask wants to connect to my contact list to see if I might “know” any business. I do not want the app going through my contact list. So everytime I open the app I get the same message and everytime I always have to hit the “not now” button. Nowhere in the settings can I disable the feature and it just really annoying considering the older versions didn’t have this, and it takes the app longer to load because of it. Anyway to disable this feature?

Notifications are a pain in my side.. Notifications won’t turn off!! I keep getting messages from random barbers who I visited once because my usual was not available. These barbers send messages all the time and they’re not on my fav list nor are they even convenient from where I live. I turned off the notifications in the app over a year ago and still keep getting messages. I even tried deleting the app to see if that would help and it doesn’t stop anything. The tech support / advice within the app is simply poor. There aren’t any resources provided in the app to help resolve - for a tech service it’s just unacceptable to leave people stuck with no solutions available for this common type of issue.

Great first experience!. This was my first time using Fairborn Barbershop! I was very impressed! I waited out in the car with my grandson but my teen said the shop was clean and welcoming! Kyle was awesome! My daughter said it was a very comfortable environment! He got my child in the chair and out the door in literally 30 minutes! She walked out smiling and we absolutely love it! I’m pretty sure we found our barbershop home! Thanks for a great first experience guys! Very professional! 5 stars! Wish I could give 10!

They keep texting me!. My old nail tech would use this app to book which it worked fine but how that she stopped using the app and I’ve deleted it and set it to stop texting me it just won’t cooperate. I’ve went as far as blocking the phone number booksy texts from it says like “to keep looking and feeling your best book an appointment blah blah” And it’ll text me from another number!! So beware if you give this company your phone number because they will not lose it even if you ask them to. Almost a year later and I’m still receiving texts from different numbers all from BOOKSY!! They stalk you worse than an ex! I’m telling you do not give your real number !!!

They delete bad reviews. Left a bad review for a very unprofessional barber. Few days later I noticed my review was deleted. I emailed Booksy to ask why my review was deleted and they said it was because the appointment never took place. Of course, it didn’t take place because the barber texted me 10 mins before my appointment to ask if I can come later in the day. To which I said ok and what time would he like me to come. He never responded until 5pm in the evening to which then he tried to schedule me for a completely different day. Due to his unprofessionalism I was not able to get my haircut for my vacation. Who knows how many bad reviews they deleted. Cannot trust the positive reviews because they delete the bad ones.

Don’t like. I scheduled appointments at a local barbershop that got confirmed and then cancelled within hours of the appointment .I thought maybe the appointment was just not available for a logical reason. The cancellation text instructed me to book a new appointment, so I did but it had the same appointment time and date available and so I scheduled it again. It kept getting cancelled so I gave up on that shop and tried another . The same thing happened another few times and the last cancellation text happened as k arrived to the appointment ! I went into the barbershop in person and the barber himself showed me that he had blocked off the appointment times that the application insisted were available. Very frustrated after trying to book through this app!

VIP NAILS. Let me tell you, I have been going to VIP for a while and it is always a fun experience, RAVEN does anything I want and is so funny and caring, during my battle with stg 3 cancer last year and earlier this year she would text me just to ask if I needed anything and how I was, I had lost all my hair and had a rash in the back of my head and she took it upon herself to buy a Mary Kay product for me! I mean who does that? I’m very lucky to have her as my nail tech but I’m blessed to call her my friend!! RAVEN, best nail tech ever!!! Book your apt with her and see for yourself!!! You won’t regret it I promise!!!

Simple N’ clean. The interface of this app is amazingly simple. It’s user friendly, the notifications are SUPER useful and I think it’s the best way to connect/organize your client and groom services. I’m able to book an appointment, leave a note to my barber and get reminded about my appointment , plus I can talk to my barber about any changes. Also when I travel it helps me connect with quality grooming services! This app has become essential to organizing my life schedule.

Manuel the barber. One of the best cuts yet. come see him and leave satisfied 100% I had a bad start out here moving from NY to Florida with barbers but I was put on to Manny by my brother in law and I tell you it was an amazing experience. This guy is a seasoned vet for sure and a master at his craft who takes pride in his work. We need more barbers like him out here. Thank you for the fresh start Manny I appreciate and salute you bro….. I’ll definitely be one to come back. You’re officially my new barber..

Niki Fadez. Niki serviced by oldest grandson up until 5 years ago when his family relocated. I would accompany him to get his hair appointment. Niki is an artist and my grandson’s hair was the canvas. ALWAYS, ALWAYS a masterpiece when completed. Moving forward to yesterday, i was able to reconnect with Niki via my daughter and I accompanied my youngest grandson(7) to his appointment. Niki asked, “How do you want it cut?” Niki you’re the artist create a masterpiece, and he did. My oldest grandson was (7) when Niki began cutting his hair. He’s a sophomore in college 🙏🏽. Looking forward to seeing Niki on a regular basis. Artistry in MOTION 💈💇‍♂️

The check out process is wonky. The experience on the app is straightforward and mostly intuitive. You can book and change appointments with ease. Reminders are helpful and the information is at your fingertips which is what you want. But the check out process is confusing and sometimes you feel like you’re paying double but you’re not. It’s weird and uncomfortable. The ease of an app should be that there is no awkward human exchange at check out and that you’re not having to take up anyone’s time. I hope it’s reviewed and fixed.

App is crap. I wanted to get a haircut and saw that the barber took appointments. Appointments were made through this app, seems easy enough. After an hour, I still have not been able to sign up. I have tried multiple times and get to the point where a text message is going to be sent verifying my account, and it never comes. I traded in the app, outside of the app, online, using Facebook,Using my email, and my Apple ID but nothing worked. I called the barber, and they said make an appointment online to which I said I have been trying and it is not working. Not sure what the issue is but I will use this app only because I have to then not because I think it’s worthwhile

My grandson doesn’t want anyone else to cut his hair but Chuck. I highly recommend Chuck to Co-Woker, family, associates, Church members, and neighbors. He definitely makes a difference in the way you look when you leave his chair. We are grateful to have him for our barber, once again and we highly recommend him.

Lymphatic drainage massage. I was referred by a mutual friend to get a lymphatic drainage massage! I paid her $400 up front for 8 sessions the first session I noticed that she wasn’t massaging the areas on my body correctly and she began to massage my buttocks which she was clearly not to touch that area because I was only 5 days post op from getting a bbl, the next visit I addressed my concerns! As she began my massage she instantly gotten sick and didn’t finish the process! I asked her for a refund of $270 which I should have been reimbursed $335 do to her becoming ill! She texted me saying that she will refund my money and it’s 3 days later and she still haven’t returned the funds!! Which I’ve called and texted numerous amount of times! Now I have to report this company to the police and if needed take this matter to court!

Vlad is on point. I’m recently new to the area from NYC and have been looking for someone that can cut hair like back home and after getting told about Vlad I booked the appointment. I was there early since I don’t know the are too well and h minute I walked in he sat me down and went to work. Not only did he cut my hair the way I wanted it but gave me one of the best shaved I have ever had. He was nice, friendly and accommodating so not only will be going back but I would recommend him and his shop to anyone that is in need of coming out looking like a million bucks when getting a cut.

Game changer !!. Ever since I switched to Booksy I have gotten well over 10 new clients which is huge just to know that you can be promoted on the app along with your additional promoting on social media is really my favorite part about it I love the book now feature on Instagram as well it helps guide potential clients to exactly where they need to go and what they need to see. I have to say this is by far my favorite booking app and I will never switch 💙

Beauty By Grace Salon. I visited Grace for the first time a little over a week ago for a consult. That is the most information I have received in a long time regarding my thin curly hair. I appreciated every minute she took to explain everything about starting locs. My second appointment with Grace went perfect. I was very nervous at starting with a new hairstylist but it went GREAT!!! Thanks Grace. See you in a few weeks! Love this website Booksy to make and/or edit appointments also.

Poor customer support. I use Booksy to book my clients and as a customer and I’ve called multiple times on numerous occasions and can’t get through to anyone. They’ll block your calls if you call continuously. My clients have had issues within the last month that still have yet to be resolved. And I’ve had issues as a stylist with a Booksy pro account and can’t get in contact with the support team. This is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t even use to chat method. They never respond. I do not recommend.
