Great app!. This is a fantastic app. For only $4? Well worth it. One walk in lesson is twice that and there are literally hours of instruction in the app, for me at least and I'm a beginner to intermediate dancer. I gave this four stars only because the iPhone version is better than the iPad version in terms of organization and features. The iPhone version has a great music feature that the iPad version could benefit from. The iPad one has more video and in app purchase options to get you more advanced steps and combos (only $.99 for access to six vids). Great deal! Yo lo quiero tanto!

Salsa dancer in no time!!!. All i knew was the basic but for some people, the basic isn't enough! Thank you for saving my relationship! Lol she loves dancing salsa and I'm starting to pick up more moves after this! We enjoy ourselves alot more with all combos and moves this app shows us! Thank you!

Beginners only. I'm a great fan of the Addicted2Salsa podcast and website and I carry all their long videos with me on my iPhone at all time. For others that do the same, this application doesn't really apply: you're already too advanced. The moves on this app are very basic indeed and even the 'advanced' moved wouldn't belong with the intermediate patterns of the podcast. But for absolute beginners, this app is cheap and good. Easy to use with all the basics.

Tons of move. If you already know the basic footwork with some basic turns then this is the next best thing to continue your salsa education. He has tons of moves and combinations and he breaks them down nicely but quickly. Thank God for rewind I can watch it any many times as I need to, to practice them until I got it.

Pocket Salsa excellent. Thanks to Anthony for his totally devotion to teaching salsa over the internet then to pocket salsa. Having little knowledge about this dance, me and my partner have learnt so much from Anthony from simple to advanced. I've no reservation to anyone who want to or love to dance should have this app in your pocket that is like a teacher with you 24/7. Love it and thank Anthony. I feel so confident dancing anywhere now. But why there's strange languages appear on the site that's not English pls? Can't understand!

No hay mejor. None better on the net that I have seen. Even the free version can teach a lot. This is especially true on iPad Retina display or connected with HDMI to a TV. Still loving it pero desgraciadamente no tengo bastante oportunidades para bailar Salsa. Had to reduce rating. Still the best by far but only AFTER You download videos. Server is abysmally slow and videos are useless online. Stop and go and mostly stop. They are great after download but it takes forever. I only get about 170kbits/sec so 7 minutes for an average video. They are huge, about 40 meg each so you use 3.75 gigs for all and would take 10 hours to do it.

Excellent flexible salsa learning tool - can use with partner in a private setting. Te app is neat the videos are crisp well done, and the segments are short so you can focus on individual items important to improving your steps. You can easily use this with a partner by you both watching the video, and trying what you are learning with some music and maybe a long mirror. The moves are broad, and many different subjects are covered. One thing I would like to see is a basic video on leading, and a basic video on following in general with general techniques and tips, but otherwise this stuff is great.

The best Salas tutorial. This is the best app for learning the basics and intermediatecombos. This app has improved my salsa dancing.

Doesn't utilize AirPlay. The content in this app is great, but I'm not seeing a way to play the videos to My television via AirPlay/Apple TV. Would be 5 stars with this feature.

Best salsa app there is. I downloaded all the salsa apps I could find and this one was by far the best. Efficient short lessons, though some start from a position other than the basic (arms crossed or something) I guess to save time, but I'd prefer all of them to start and end with the basic. It's "on 1" and I dance "on 2" but I can still learn, though it'd b ideal 2 have more on 2 lessons. A little more detail about preparing 4 each move (how to communicate w my hands when the girl doesn't know the move in advance) would b great, but once again that would take more time and maybe I'm just a perfectionist. I like being able to download the lessons. Great app!!

DJ Joey Baez. I’ve had this app for a couple of years and I love it the steps is easy to learn. And the instructors are great to follow. I recommend this app.

One good app but need to unlock the rest.. The way it is explain is great and does the moves more than one time but there are way to many lock moves and thinking I payed for the app I wouldn't have to keep paying. Moving forward if you want more people to get the app than start unlocking and it will be a win win for all.

Wonderful app. Great quality videos, clear instruction, on 1 & on 2, and lots of variety. It's the best few dollars you can spend to learn salsa. The one thing that seems to be missing is categorization. For example, it would be nice to search for all men's styling techniques. This is minor though, it's easy enough to find the videos now.

Anthony P delivers on the iPhone/itouch platform. As a fan of the addicted2salsa website and forums, getting this app was a no brainer. Well worth the money, excellent quality videos, to the point and clear instruction. If you are learning salsa or want to get ready for the clubs, this app should be in your arsenal.

No sound, please fix.. No sound, no sound, no sound!!!!

Easy fun. I social dance in New York and nothing is worse than repeating the same moves over and over. The app breaks down every move on1 an on2. I watch the videos whenever I can on my phone or IPad. I especially like the break downs of the instruments. Great app definitely buy the full version.

Really nice app for the salsa dancing lover... I really this application, because it summarizes very nicely most of the basic salsa steps with short videos that are crisp, clear and well done. The practice rythms are cool, because they allow dancers to practice moves without music and get familiar with the beats (I prefer music myself). Dont care too much about the salsa clip videos, but I guess many people that dance do enjoy this...I would prefer inclusion of more moves in the Lesson Library and also more combinations..For example, the Hammer Lock explanation is good, but then how do you get out of it? Nice to have a follow up..Also, the Copa video seems to be cut (only 20 secs of video instead of the 56 sec expected). Otherwise, fantastic idea, love this app.

Best salsa investment. This app is great as are the instructors. If u are a lead buy it! Its great being able to download them for faster performance. Half my salsa arsenal comes from moves from these videos. Particularly like the ability to review moves without having to view an entire pattern. I can never remember patterns, tend to remember moves and positions you need to begin a move much easier...

Mi Sciento vivo. Fell in love with Latin dance and take lessons every week. But until recently, never got a chance to practice live at a club or bar. This app helps me remember the moves I'm learning. Love that I can download moves for later viewing when I can't be connected to Internet. I guess I want you to know that this app absolutely improves your dancing skill plus keeps the fire burning. Life can get busy and if this keeps you frosty.

Downloaded videos for offline disappear after a day. Every time I download videos so I can watch when not on WiFi, disappear with a day. The download feature is useless because of it.

Very useful and comprehensive. Great guide, a lot of great things going with it. The ability to have this wherever you go is amazing! This break-down of moves is very useful for review. It is expensive to take lessons but this tool has been maximizing the learning process for me so that I can get out on the floor without needing the stamp of approval from a "dancing institution"... Many of which insist that you need to go on "dancing excursions" with them to dance the "right way". I know that I will be using this on and off as I try to learn how to pull the moves off. At this point I can't find any reason not to highly recommend this app!!!

Awesome app!!. Super valuable app, great for picking up lots of new moves via these detailed videos. Way better deal than paying for group classes, but will require having a partner at home to practice with. Why not 5 stars: all videos use the same track, gets pretty annoying. Would also love to have a way to mark videos as “mastered” and “I want to learn this next later”

Love it!!!. What you get from this app would cost hundreds in personal lessons. Well worth it! I've had a heck of a time finding the salsa beat and this app has been a savior. Also, the app developer did a great job. It is very professional and easy to use, which I can't say for most apps out there.

Very few apps are this good. Excellent app - unlike a teacher, you can replay steps as many times as you want. Furthermore, the extras like the podcast and videos of pro dancers are nice to take this app from just a connect the dots teaching style to an integrated salsa overview. Obviously, it won't take the place of classes and practicing with a partner, but this thing is well worth the money.

Support for Spanish language. The application is well developed, but please be translated into Spanish for Latin Americans.

Worth much more than what you pay!. This is a wonderful app. There are over 100 lessons in Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced sections. The videos are easy to follow and not over complicated to catch on to. There are even music choices so you can practice when there is no Salsa music around. Very worth the money.

Great supplemental learning tool. I takes Salsa dancing classes on both 1 and 2. Often it is difficult to practice on your own after classes when you're not sure if you are practicing correctly. This app provides really great support to supplement classes so you can continue practicing on your own or with a partner. I've used it on my phone and recently added it to my ipad where it works even better.

This guy is good!!. Awesome app especially if you're a beginner, like myself. He's a detailed instructor and breaks the steps down to you for easy learning!

Best Salsa Lessons Available. I'm an intermediate dancer and have got to say that addicted2salsa has the best lessons for all levels. Great breakdown, variety of moves, practice listening to different instruments, AND recommended videos of some of the best salsa dancers in the world. I think they underpriced this app...so get it while it's $0.99.

Pretty Great. Well worth the $2.99! There are some extra vids you have to pay to unlock, but every app seems to do that nowadays, so it doesn't really bother me. There are also a lot of videos that come with it, more than enough to satisfy all beginners! I LOVE how the videos are short and to the point! They jump straight in, show you the move, then break it down. Excellent reference tool and I use it very frequently when trying to figure something out. It's really great!

Caliente!!. This app is very handy. VERY!! I'm currently taking a salsa class, however we are preparing for a particular routine. So this app definitley provides much more options in terms of moves/steps to learn. The only thing i'd reccomend is a reply button, or the option of having the videos play on repeat. But even still, I'm finding this app very useful. Thanks!!!!

Still needs improvement. While this site does provide some content that is useful on the dance social dance floor, it still needs improvement if they continue to charge. Some patterns can be taken seriously and still others are downright silly. Clear information on the interface is lacking as well. But here's what really bothers me, there are more fees once you purchase the initial app. I'm angered every time an app company does this. So unless we make our displeasure known, they will continue to sucker us in.

Easy to use!. The lessons are plain and easy to understand even for those who have had no previous dance instruction like myself, and the lessons are short enough that you spend more time dancing than watching videos.

Best Salsa Dance App PERIOD!. I've been a HUGE fan of Addicted2Salsa since the very beginning! Now with all these new videos in this app - it compliments their current podcast video lineup. I love the fact that instead of having to install an app that is like +200MBs which videos I may not need, I can choose which videos I want to have on my device in order to practice by clicking on the 'star'. LOVE IT! Great job guys! [Pocket Salsa 3.2 Update]: Love the fact they added being able to download multiple videos at the same time! Huge improvement!

Best Salsa App. Maybe Ever!!. So easy to follow. Breaks everything down in just the right amount of detail. Although some moves that are in the beginner combos aren't covered until the intermediate tab, it's all there for you to watch and learn. Anthony is great teacher and adds his little jokes, whether intentional or not, which are always good for a chuckle. Great for all aspiring salsa dancers.

Why'd they change the categories -.... ...beginner; intermediate and advanced??? A step backwards for this app!

The videos have no audio.. The videos have no sound. Yes, I checked the volume. I’ve uninstalled reinstalled the app. I hear sound from other apps. I do not hear any sound in IOS 11.4 and nothing has changed with IOS 12. Does any one else have this issue? I would have used a support link, but did not see one on your webpage.

Super Bien!. This app is so great! I've been dancing salsa for years and want to get better. I like that I can practice by myself, and rewatch the move until I get it right. I only wish there was more styling moves for the ladies. I'd also like her to slow down on the most basic styling moves, so I can really nail it. But overall I give it an A++ for a very helpful and well-thought out app. Thanks guys!!

Great app but... This app is great for learning salsa because of the instructions given. I gave it 4 stars because I would have to pay for it again to use the app on Apple TV.

One of the best apps of the year!. This app is the coolest. I can learn a dance move on the fly. Before I had this app, I only knew the basic moves in salsa so it was hard for me to get dances. Now that u have this app. I can learn some more moves on the fly. Now I have enough move to get on the dance floor and not worry about what I'm doing wrong. Now I can concentrate on having fun dancing salsa! Thanks Pocket Salsa!!

Nice Little App. I'm a big fan of the podcast by these guys, so I was pretty excited to hear that they have an app as well. The app features a collection of salsa moves organized by difficulty level (beginner, intermediate, advanced), and it makes a handy reference when you want to quickly look up a move or pattern. The app doesn't have too many videos yet, so hopefully they'll add more in the future. There's also a little music tool built in, which can be helpful in learning to recognize the different instruments and beats that go into a salsa song. All in all, a nice little app, and well worth the 2 bucks!

Salsa Videos/Pocket Salsa. Superb salsa instruction. Deep level of content. Instruction can be downloaded. Best 3 on App store - Salsa Videos here, LDF Salsa and TANGO 101. All three superb and different. Overall, Salsa Videos has most depth of moves and detailed instruction. I hope enough buy for additional content from podcast to make it to the APP. Definite buy. Worth every penny of the low cost. Update - still the best. Hope they continue to add content. Great instruction.

Excellent app for those learning to Salsa. The instructor does a fantastic job breaking down the moves. The short clips also help as having to review them again is not too time-consuming. In all fairness there should be more instruction for the ladies' moves though. Keep the moves coming!

Great content - App bugs need work. Really like this App. Content is easy to find and broken down into practical chunks. Instructors are very good too. Have had problems with the clips though. Using Wifi sometimes it convinces itself there is no Internet and does not play clips (even though Safari and email etc are working fine). Can also get hung up in a black screen. Sometimes killing the App from the tray works others needs a complete iPhone reset. But great work overall.

Clear Salsa teaching. I'm finding the lessons simple and very helpful. Only complaint concerns the lessons one needs to buy inside the app to get the complete set of instructions. Better if they were more up front on this. I would be happier paying more for the app and not have these restrictions. As it is, I feel a little cheated.

Salsa. I purchased this app cuz it got 5 stars review. But be careful before you purchase. Make sure you read reviews. Those reviews are only from 25 people. Which is not enough to say that app is really worth it. They don’t have salsa Cuban names of the moves. All the names are in English. How would know which one is kentucky

Pocket salsa. I enjoy your teaching, but why are there numbers of lessons missing? I found that the double swirl where the woman holds her arm up and the man swirls her around,these steps were never explained. Enjoyed the videos of experienced Salsa dancers.

This is the first step. To become a good dancer you need practice and these guys know make the hard things look easier than you can imagine. Let's go and play some Salsa and start to get the Latin spirit into your soul!

Thanks. I don't know if others types of dance have something like the App of Addicted 2 Salsa, but I thanks mr. Anthony for that window to the learning of salsa. I love the easy way to present the figures and the sections, it was a good surprise the clips section. I will love, in the futur, see more detail in the figures, the video of footwork in the complicated figures, man and woman footwork, for instance. To the futur too, I will love to see videos in man style, what to do in 4 and 8 with the body for shinning the ladys. It is just the suggestions. Again, many thanks for that app. Anthony.

awesome app!!!. As a beginner I highly recommend the app with its ability to download the individual training videos. After watching 25 of them I have to say, that I have learned more than at weekly classes.

Pretty darn good. It does what it says. The only gripes I have is that a few of the videos seem rushed and they can't decide if they want to nickel and dime you for on two or not. Sometimes they are in one video and sometimes they are separated. If they'd re-record a few of their videos to add some consistency I'd bump it to a 5.

Best of the best. I love it. The is the best app I could ever download. The more I wash it, use it, the more I love it. I was able to impress my coworker with my moves. Thanks a lot. Keep the moves coming in and keep up the good work. I will be nice to have all the move on 2.

Streaming Salsa!!. Love the way I'm able to stream the lessons in crystal clear HD directly to Apple TV via AirPlay right from my iPhone. Just like having instructors in your living room. Wish you did an app for Bachata as well.

This App Disproves the Rule. I was sure you couldn't teach an old dog new tricks. But here I am at 60 learning Salsa. Of course, the problem is that even if you can teach an old dog new tricks, you still have an old dog. But at least one who can finally dance Salsa.

Amazing! Simple! Fun!. I relearned my love of salsa again. It's been years since I've danced and lead. Nearly forgot everything from years in the military. Slowly but surely I'm picking things back up. I can't wait to learn more. Highly recommended to all! Great app!

Just one problem.... I love this app; however, it doesn't keep favorites when you update or sync with your computer. I've had to re download my favorites three times now because I synced my iPod with my iTunes. Fix that and you have a five star app!

Fabulous!. Salsa came so much easier when I used this app to complement my public and private lessons. They give you just enough to work on at one time...like one move! They do it so clearly, can't say enough about what a great and professional job they do!

Fantastic app. Raises the bar for other apps of its kind. Being able to download lessons selectively is a great idea for the iPod touch when you don't always have access to wifi.

The Real Deal!. In a world of app disappoints, Pocket Salsa doesn't! It takes the dancer into the world of salsa in a gradual, structured series of lessons which build upon each other. The instruction is clear and concise with each move being demonstrated then explained. PSalsa has helped me progress in my salsa dancing immeasurable! LOVE IT!

Coolest app ever!. I want to see more! More exchanges, titanics, double handed turns, etc. Plus a section on variations: coming up with multiple variations on CBLs, all the turns, copas, baskets. Also, how about bachata. And more cha cha, same thing. Lots to do! Btw congrats on your engagement. :)

Best How To Guide for Salsa. I have tried a bunch of the other apps for salsa instruction and this is the best one I think. I love how short the videos are but at the same time very well composed. Good investment if you are really interested in learning. I give 4 of 5 for content volume. I do hope more steps will be added soon.

Wonderful. This has improved my dancing so much. If you are taking lessons at your local studio, this is a great app to review and practice what you have learned. I love that you can download the lessons for later.

Incredible app!!!. This is the best app that I have on my iPod! It's great for picking up quick moves on-the-go and when I need something impressive to show off while out social dancing.

Nicely done!. You can have the website video instruction with you at all times, even when there is no Internet connection. Videos are done with care, and always explained from both the Lead and Follow perspectives.

Good.. When I first downloaded the app, I was very happy with it because all the videos were a available for the price of 99 cents. After some time, it locked some of the videos and made available only if you upgrade the app. Even though, I stand somewhat disappointed I still recommend it.

The best app ever. I love this app!! Also I have a request On the perhaps on the mid and pro levels why don't you put a few combo videos. Like let say every 5 videos put I combo the 5 videos from before that's just an idea

Salsalicious!!. The app is very simple and lightweight, yet provides all the necessary content that a beginner to advanced dancer would look for. Love the option to save te video locally by tapping on the star. Can't wait to get more lessons.

Is that salsa in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?. I never leave home without my Pocket Salsa. You just never know when there will be a salsamergency! This app is one of my faves. It's never coming off of my phone!

Extremely useful. Love it except every now and then the vids freeze and I have to restart my phone. Other that that this app is a must have for any beginner. Keep up the great work Anthony!

Great app. Love the videos and the rhythms to practice to. I'm a very new beginner and it would help if they were labeled according to difficulty and style. Good practice but sometimes it takes me awhile to figure out what is what. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that. Otherwise love it!

Outstanding App!!!!. I freaking love this app! It has helped me with salsa dancing tremendously. I honestly cannot wait for the update to come out!! With this app and a bit of practice with a dance partner you will do fine on the dance floor.

Amazing and well thought out. This app is amazing! I am in Afghanistan and I don't have a 3G network to connect to so I love how I can download the videos over wifi and reference them later. The videos are thorough and easy to follow. Love it!

Freaking phenomenal. I use the rhythms to practice catching the 1 to different salsa tracks. Love that they let you download the videos so you don't crush your data. And it's not buggy! If you'd pay $14 per salsa class to learn anyway, this is a much more cost efficient way to learn.

Awesome!!. I love pocket salsa! The lessons are great and also the podcast. I started dancing salsa for about 6 months and this app is helping me increase my level of dancing. I also like that you can save the lessons you like. Im glad I found this app! I highly recommend pocket salsa to anyone wanting to learn.

Very cool app. This is very cool app 100% worth your money to buy it easy steps to follow and advance moves are easy to learn the way the explain. Thanks Antony and July for such a nice salsa moves.. For all of you guys think this app is expensive THIS IS NOT compare to pay $ 100 bucks for one private lesson.

Anthony on the fly. I've subscribed to the podcast for years but it's great to have a library of salsa moves on my iPhone/iPad and not have to rely on having my computer. Works great as a refresher to old moves or for learning new ones.

Amazing E Z 2 Fllow Steps!!!. Cna't believe how easy it is to learn to salsa! I love this apps! My husband bought also for his own iPad! Now we can polish our salsa together and still get our lessons even when we are on the road, at work or cruising for a holiday break! Try it you'd love it!!!!

A Little Gem. My wife and I are taking salsa lessons, and this little gem is very helpful. There are fare more instructional videos than I expected and you get the added bonus of salsa beats to practice along with and fun videos of salsa couples social dancing. This little app is worth the money!

Great app but iPhone version is better organized than iPad. The iPad version needs to be organized in the same way as the iPhone version.

A must have app. For those who want a quick guide on the floor or those who want to learn from the bottom up. Even for those who have already master salsa, this app is a must.

Love This App and Podcast!. I love this couple and this guy! He makes salsa fun and breaks it down so well for experienced dancers and non-dancers alike. I've taken several of the steps to the dance studio I go to so they can incorporate them into our lessons. 2 thumbs way up!

Excellent app. I am thrilled to have this app. Clear, easy to understand instructions. I also love that they go over the counts for On 1 & On 2. I am working with both, so it is extremely helpful.

Exceptional!. Very well put together! Keep up the great work, it is outstanding. My only suggestion, add more close position on1 clips! Maybe demonstrate in closed then open positions, as it would suit beginners like myself better.

Easy to train app. Makes it look easy and the level are well organized. I m liking it a lot. I been going for classes but its good to review steps when you are home and this app does that magic. Double thumbs up.

Dance Mania. It is by far an excellent forum for the novice and pro alike to learn or to pick up a few pointers here and there. There are some real talents out there. I my self a purest from the old 60s & 70s find myself checking out the moves. I'm more of a very smooth type. Lots of styles today seem a bit to robotic for my taste. Hey but what ever floats your boat......

add captions??. it would be nice to add english closed captions on every video clips. i am deaf myself. i have no problem to watch and copy on every dance moves but the only problem is that i dont understand when he speaks why is it important to understand combine every steps of dance moves. it is not only for deaf people but i speak of people who have hear loss or hard hearing people. i would put five star if you add it on every video clips. i hope you listen to my comment and make it possible happen :)

Dont Sleep on This App. This app is so amazing. I always wanted to learn to dance salsa but either never had the money or the time. Now that I got the app, i can learn a step or two on the go and the brwakdown makes it even easier. Dont Sleep on this app!!

Fabulous app!. Offline videos are an excellent feature, and more keep getting added. Clear instruction, figures are nicely broken down. Even better when added to lessons. If you like salsa, regardless of your level, you'll love this app!

Great app. I love this app but my purchased videos from 2 updates ago still haven't reappeared. It's an annoying bug that still hasn't been fixed and keeps me from giving this 5 stars

BEST SALSA APP, PERIOD!!!. I don't usually rate any apps, but this one deserves a review. I can't possibly think how they could make it better. It's just amazing. The way they break down the patterns is way better than most salsa classes where you pay 10-15 dollar a class. A must have for Salsa lovers!!!
