Removing over versions is bad for comparisons. I’m giving them 1 star because they removed version 5. How am I supposed to compare newer devices to older ones when they remove the older version as they release a newer? I could at least run both versions on the same device and get a relative idea how they compare, then sumo side the differences going forward.

Good Synthetic Benchmarks. I like the new UI/UX design of Geekbench. I wish we could do Vulkan and Metal benchmarks. The one thing that’s missing is a “history” tab. So you can see your past benchmarks. Which would allow you to see if an update is wonky for example. You would have the bench numbers right there to compare to. It’s a good benchmark all and all but could use some improvement.

Update the website. Great to see my favorite benchmark get a major update; hope to soon see the browser website updated to show the results though.

No History. Where’d the history tab go?

It removes the history. We need the history back for this to be a replacement for Geekbench 5. Also, since Geekbench 5 users that paid don’t get Geekbench 6 for a discount, I personally won’t be upgrading to 6 as a main benchmark.

Need update. Why there is no tap for history and settings like previous one?

Way too minimalist. Geekbench 5 was great. Local history, nice minimal ui nothing really to complain about. Now with 6, there is no local history, and no tabs to move across to see system info or anything of the sort. A huge downgrade from Geekbench 5.

History. Where did the history section go so I can see my past tests? The whole reason I use this app is so I can compare devices over time.

Need history and device comparison. Bring back the device history and the single core/multi core device comparison.

New version, doesn’t identify the new iPad Pro. Still to this date, the new iPad pro is not properly identified. Also, the specs for Apple devices are erroneous or incomplete. For example, it only shows the CPU cluster and the little cores 4 MB cache, but doesn’t read anything else.

Great benchmarking app. Geekbench has always been my goto whenever I wanted to make sure my phone is performing as it should.

New benchmark!!!. Would have been better if it showed the cache properly in iOS😒

Thank you for being an AppleBench!!. I was really disappointed to see such practice from Geekbench developers.

Geekbench 6 review. The best application!

Needs local history. They need to bring back the list of historical results within the app. And there should be a way to share results without uploading (even if it’s a paid purchase like the desktop version)

DISAPPOINTING. What happened to the history??? Not only that, but what about comparisons of your device benchmarks to that of others?!? This version is a MAJOR FAIL compared to 5. Get it together developers!

…why?. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just update Geekbench 5 for whatever changed in 6, especially since we payed for 5 and this is now free? Ok cool, but it doesn’t have history? Why would you remove that, backed out to do the GPU test and forgot what my CPU test was. Do I have to take a screenshot now, instead of the convenient history that automatically logged everything in 5? Just… why?

How to interpret the score?. So, I know the score, and then what? Can I see how it compares against other devices, different iOSs, or over time?

Can’t see history. I don’t care how many features have been added, the very fact you can’t see benchmark history is ridiculous. Why would you remove a very useful feature, you literally have to run a new benchmark every time you want to see the breakdown. Automatic 1 star.
