Trash. How can a company this big have such a terrible merchant app? There is no excuse for this app being this bad

The Merchant Manager Stopped Working!!. As of today the app is not working!! It is showing that our store is closed when it is actually open! It is showing no current or historical sales information. However on the tablet it indicates we are open and have fulfilled orders! This needs to be fixed asap as I have no way of monitoring sales and orders when I’m away from the store.

Update. Update doesn’t do anything but make things more confusing, less helpful, and more time consuming.

3rd class app and support. They need to get out of software business if they cannot solve simple cache issue which is preventing me from login in the app for weeks now.

Can’t even get app to log me in.. 95% of the time it’s down. It stinks..

So many issues. App is constantly freezing and never works. So hard to manage our DoorDash when the software were provided to work with is terrible!

Too Many Issues to Mention Here. DoorDash needs to build focus groups with merchants if it wants to do this app thing right. Rarely anyone at DD reaches out to us on this. Calling customer support always leads to case number which is generally a dead end road. We are a multi location grocery store on the app but cannot make changes on the menu thru the app (price changes or out of stocks). There should also be notifications thru the manager app when orders come in. Both of these features should be part of the app. Because we are a store-pick model, we should be allowed to eliminate out of stock items in orders and recommend substitutes in such cases. We cannot do this now and must rely on calls to customer support that are generally cumbersome.

Garbage. This app is complete garbage doesn’t work 99% of the time and door dash clearly doesn’t monitor or update the app. I’d give it a 0 stars if I could!

Cannot see order in the app. After update the app, we cannot see any order from the app, it is really horrible.

Broken. New update broke the app, making it completely useless. I can no longer access my orders

DoorDash is a scam. Terrible. The restaurant should not partner with DoorDash. Their service is terrible, and they never solve any issues. They just tell you to wait and say someone will contact you, but no one ever does. I previously partnered with DoorDash and listed my restaurant on their website. Every time my customers tried to find my restaurant, they couldn't find it. DoorDash’s system would always recommend nearby restaurants with the same name as mine to my customers. I’ve reported this issue to them multiple times, but they just kept telling me to wait, and nothing ever got resolved. Don’t partner with them. they're just scammers." Their customer service is just for show and never solves any problems."

Useless all. This latest update does not let me see the order from the customer, it has happened more than 3 times that I have to wait for the dasher to get here so I can ask them what is the order, cuz of course I don't want to miss the sale. That is pretty much the purpose of the app, and I cant use it.

Most of the time there’s something went wrong. Awful, never had an app like this. Most of the time there’s something wrong and couldn’t open the app. Even though sometimes I successfully opened it, I could only see today and yesterday’s sales, the history sales and other functions NEVER worked, NEVER!!! Not Even Once!

Very unprofessional. Called 5 times every day and every time the put me on hold and they leave me for 45 minutes and so and I call again and tell them about it the day we gone put you on hold for one moment and the hang up on me and I asked for manager they didn’t want to transfer to manager and no one could help to increase the store visibility more then 1/2 mile from the store to the customers and no one could help with it definitely not working with them anymore Don’t recommend it if you want to run professional business

App is a joke. Rarely works…like DoorDash

Needs improvement. It’s a shame there is not notifications for orders direct in the app, the app very often is not working good showing the orders or either online, there is not way to update the order to mark as ready or delay. It Is not made for iPad. Consider the high rate that you charge. Would be great if you could fix those details.

Shady setup. I rarely give reviews for apps almost never do. This app use to work great. Now? Its like doordash tries to hide when customers request refund. You use to be able to see it easily now you have to manually go through every single order and scroll all the way down to see if their was a refund processed. Very shady in my opinion. Also they should make it easier for merchants to see how many times someone has asked for a refund the same way you can see how many orders a customer has placed with you and allow a BAN option for customers that are lying about their orders consistently. Still alot of other things wrong with this app its almost like it was done on purpose.

Stopped working. “This login doesn't have access to the business manager app, click here to login with a different account to access the business manager app”

Worst app. Stopped working since yesterday. Cannot see my orders anymore. When they charge so much in commission it is a basic common sense to provide good service. Worst app !!

Where this app come from. I was looking for an app on my phone and this app appeared as if I had downloaded it to my phone. I have never downloaded it or had a reason to have it. What a bunch of crap!!

Worst customer service EVER. I just signed up with DoorDash as a merchant and I’ve been trying to get activated for MONTH NOW! I really hope that the higher ups see this and do something about it. This is ridiculous DoorDash. Merchant Portal is the worst platform ever too

You dont get paid for your restaurant!. Hi all, doordash has not paid for my restaurant since last year September, like 6 months, I put my personal account first, coz I didn't have my business account yet, after a month I opened business account and tried to update my bank information, but the stuff was too rude , especially AYANNA!!!! She thinks she is a CEO of doordash and never been helpful! Ignored all the documents i sent, and requested more and more information to just update my bank information, i sent her all my id and ean number as well and she didn't help! I didn't expect that experience with doordash, what a shame! I will never use doordash again and I don't suggest to anyone to use the doordash merchant!!!

Unreliable. Probably only works when not needed. Maybe they should hire fewer pesky sales people and hire more developers to provide a good product to their merchants. I’d value an app that works over the several calls a week to ‘help’ me with marketing.

The new update is terrible. Go back to previous version. No need to have “active” and “scheduled” in separate tabs. It was fine the way it was. This is an absolute downgrade

Doesn’t work well on iOS!. Poor tech support, the app doesn’t work!

Worse customer service for merchants. Worse customer service. I would like to request restaurant owners to stay away from DoorDash. DoorDash have stopped our payouts since last month and no one at DoorDash supports is available to resolve issue.

False Advertising. I got this app for my small business seeing how it advertises “real-time DoorDash notifications” but I have not gotten one notification about any orders I’ve received. The only way I have any knowledge about an incoming order is through the email associated with the account. Not to mention it is constantly glitching.

Can’t open the app. This is a very bad app I can’t open it in my phone it keeps loading and loading but doesn’t open and I can’t watch the activity in my restaurant, I contacted DoorDash support but with no response from them

Can’t Even Login. Tried downloading this and logging in. Got the error message to login with another login, clicked the link to take me back so I can re-enter my login info, and it won’t get me off that error page.

App just loads and dosnt stop. The app is horrible and dosnt even let me Log in. It just keeps loading and dosnt stop.

Worst Company for businesses. DoorDash is high commision based yet they don’t have right setup to support businesses. No control on customers refunds in-spite of write order. Upon such refunds DoorDash still takes the commission on full price. 14 days limit to manually stay in their app/online to lope a track if customer asked for refund is so annoying. They are secretly charging a lot from business without having a mechanism to update to look into the refunds requests. And the they boast about policies in place and can’t help businesses to dispute such refunds. Their app and whole company is very screwed to steal lot of hard earned efforts and money from businesses. Looking forward to have more food delivery apps that are robust and keep businesses happy as well.

Show the disputes. Show me the error and customer dispute charges!

Broken. Currently glitched out and bricked; unusable. Also why does this not support all the features of the tablet?

Blank Screen. There is no content on the app, just opens a blank screen after logging in

Come on DoorDash. I don’t ever leave reviews to be honest. And was super excited to finally see there was a merchant app, but you guys charge us an arm and a leg, I’m sure you have enough money to properly program your merchant app, to have access to be able to make changes to our menu items, add menu items, 86 menu items, you guys are great with apps and set the standard for what delivery partners should strive to be. We’re happy to pay the high delivery fees since that’s what it takes to get to that demographic, but would like to have easier ways to control our business. The website is very frustrating to use on iPhone, also annoying and I don’t always have time to go use my laptop whenever I need to edit my menu. So I thought downloading the app would make it so much easier, but to be honest, as it currently stands, it wasn’t worth the download. I hope you will improve this soon.

Not working anymore. Not sure if it’s been discontinued or what but I haven’t been able to use or login for weeks. Just shows endlessly loading when I start up. I’ve deleted and redownloaded a few times.

Horrible functionality. This app does not even open for me anymore. All it does is load and load and I’ve tried everything. I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled, reset phone, etc etc. garbage.

Works well. The app works, I can see the sales data that I need to!

Horrible. Terrible application, doordash support has no idea what they are talking about, there is no uniform in the information they have. One employee will tell you one thing while the second one will completely contradict the first.

Doordash has the worst system. Repeatedly had issues with them. Dashers coming in way too early, store hours changing without my authorization and they can’t help with simple requests. So many times where I had stationary dashers and the system not registering and not switching to a new dasher. Had many times where dashers have come after store hours. 30% comission and all for what. Uber eats offers better rates and have had less issues all around.

No working. A white screen appears as soon as we open the app 😞 and we cannot have access to the account

Won’t work. Logged on my laptop to see that you now have an app! FINALLLYYYY! But it won’t load and continues to say “Something went wrong”. Since I haven’t been able to log on I have no real input on the app but if other reviews are correct about not being able to change/add items I would say the app is worthless. Hope they figure it out!

App won’t open. I have tried to use this app since we signed up with DoorDash but all that ever happens is the blue circle spinning and the app never opens. I’m sure it would be nice if I could ever get it to work. I’ve called DoorDash support and they couldn’t get it working.

App opens to a white screen - doesn’t load. This might have happened after latest IOS update. We can’t access mobile merchant app as white screen persistently stays on, doesn’t download the interface. Also desktop version has issues. One location on desktop is switched to mobile version for some reason where you can’t upload new photos of products. When you switch to another location it works like a charm. Inconsistent and doesn’t make any sense.

MERCHANT PLS READ!!!. what’s the point of the app if you can’t edit your menu from it?? you can edit your menu from going online through google but not through the app… the app is pointless if you can’t edit your menu. app should be updated to where you could edit your menu.

Frustrating App. When I have my store paused, orders continue to come through. When I try to update times, they don’t go through either. Like I cannot physically cook a well done burger in 4 minutes. If I didn’t have to use this crap per management, I wouldn’t at all.

Sid. Worst managing app ever for food delivery service. You cannot do anything with the app, you cannot edit anything you cannot edit menu you cannot edit customer order. What’s the point of this app?

Finally!. I’m happy they finally made this app, now I don’t need to log in from online. Now things are easier!

Not reliable. The app does not load as it should. Some of the available options don’t work most of the time. I had a dasher come by to pick up an order and the ORDER tab in this app was saying there was an error. My food was late arriving to my customer.

Strongly not recommended! A waste of even one star!. Doordash seems to completely disregard the perspective of restaurant owners. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it's beneficial for the customers either. Customer service representatives at the call center appear to be working remotely, with children's voices audible and TVs playing in the background. It's very disruptive during conversations and causes significant discomfort!!!!

Stopped working. I was excited for this app and it was working well but now it doesn’t work. When I open it, it asks to try again or log out but never opens. Tried uninstalling it and re-downloading it but that didn’t fix it. Bummer.

Disappointed. This app was hailed as a go-to resource for merchants to manage their businesses on the go. It keeps getting pushed in emails, in the merchant portal, but it is a bad app. This app has challenges and even though merchants are the backbone of DoorDash this app leaves a lot to be desired if you even get it to work. For months I just have a spinning wheel even after multiple tries of uninstalling and reinstalling. I’d imagine if the regular DoorDash app had as many 1 star reviews and complaints about issues as this app they would have been fixed by now.

No menu access. Useless app

Can’t adjust store hours. Whenever i try to adjust store hours I get “sorry something went wrong” message. This is a big problem for operators. This should be a priority to be fixed!

Can edit menu. I can’t edit the menu online because the page doesn’t let me scroll down low enough to hit “save changes” what’s the point of the app then? Good only if you need a quick way to turn off pickups for a certain store for the day.

Helpful for managing multiple locations. Needs more notifications and preferences to make it more useful. Needs the full access like the website gives otherwise you have to go to the website and perform functions there Good start but still some work to do

Not enough info can’t confirm order in manager app. It will be nice if you can modify the order instead of calling customer service everytime when customers making requests. Restaurant can be busy all time don’t have time to call customers service 1 star.

Can’t believe this App is made by tech company. This app is made for managers and owners it should work and be useable when in the go and it’s neither. Been very patient since it’s launch but you would expect a lot more from much smaller companies. Get an A team on this and get it right.

Menu trouble. After new update our menu was completely erased and put back in sloppy with wrong items…now I can’t even edit because it won’t let me save… so the menu was perfect before all this now it’s all wrong and unable to be edited… plus our store get constantly deactivated by our merchant experience partner Rebecca fox evil person.. why does doordash workers hate there company?

White screen only 😡. I was using this mobile app to remotely monitor my business activity and it was working fine but lately I just get a white screen when I try to use the app on my IPhone my wife’s galaxy works fine but somehow it doesn’t works for iOS any more 😠 somebody do something to fix it because I used it a lot to monitor the activity and also to request support when there was a problem with a delivery or a dasher.

Won’t save. I spent hours updating the menu. I have updated the menu 4 times and everything will save initially. When I go back in, nothing has saved. It’s not user friendly. It’s the worse!

Doordash and doordash manager crashes a lot. We have been using door dash now for 5 months and have to just had more and more issues. Customers are getting mad and diver drivers are not getting here soon enough, literally 30 minutes after food was prepared. No way to see if they are on the way or not.

Menu Manager Issues. Last Night or Emm.. Today’s midnight I was editing my Menu made several changes on the modifier sections to make “nice and easy read” but I was recently updated many NEW modifier and changes it shows “Unable to Save Changes” I waited 5 minutes and click save, it went through. When I Swipe Down “Refresh” to see my NEW Modifier, the edit of New Modifier went GONE Completely! I tried redo everything again twice and the same one were not SAVED in the “F-word” Menu Manager. I hope in the future the Menu Manager have good improvements because redo everything is quite big work and experiencing bad “Save Changes” that were Say “Saved” but Not Saved.☹️☹️☹️

can’t edit menu. Insight into sales is cool and all, but trying to change things on the menu is a nightmare. Their website is awful and the fact that this app doesn’t hold that option is beyond ridiculous

Fix your modification. The app is very slow and it’s not as friendly use. You also need to add a feature where when an item is out of stock it is legit out of stock no need to replace it as a requirement. Also another option have the ability to set when a certain modification should be on from what time it can be added to when you can’t add it anymore

Can’t Edit Menu. Main reason I want the app is so I can edit the menu. It doesn’t have that option. App is kinda pointless. Would love to be able to add pictures to my menu via the app. Adding pictures from your phone would be wayyyy easier than downloading them to a computer then having to mess with the size of the photo.

Horrible. Have to go to the online website to actually use all the functions . The app is limited to what it can actually manage , 1 star until they fix it

Menu editing trouble. Now I need to open each of the modifiers to add one new item, instead adding all modifiers to the new item. This is way too troublesome and harder. No idea why the app developers made it this way, maybe they hate their company? Also, I need to add the new item to the same modifier a few times to make sure the item has that modifier. Sometimes it won’t show on the item even though I already added the modifier. What’s wrong with you DoorDash?

Worst Delivery Service Ever. If I could rate the a zero I definitely would!! Since reopening my store I haven't had not one single dasher show up to my place of business to pickup and order. The status goes from "Assigning Dasher" to "Dasher Late" on every single order I received. This has caused me to personally deliver every single one of my orders which I'm not receiving compensation for. Having to close my business, and use my own personal gasoline to deliver these orders is not What I pay Doordash for. This situation has also caused my business to not be eligible for the daily payout program since all of my orders show "Canceled- Paid". I'm highly questioning whether or not I made the right decision choosing to do business with Doordash.

Good start. Need ability to edit items/mark items unavailable.

Updating store hours is near impossible. Very frustrated with getting a phone call from DoorDash advising that my tablet isn’t turned on BECAUSE I can’t freaking update the store hours on the app! Being in a mobile food truck working off of a hotspot does not allow the luxury of using a laptop. Would be really nice if this app actually allowed us to update our store hours thru the app itself. And if the tablet isn’t turned on, then how about we don’t receive a phone call and the system shows us as closed.

Was getting notifications sent to my phone then they just stopped and it doesn’t even give me an option to turn them on. What is the point of this app??? Fix it!!!! Prep times are extremely faulty. The auto prep time is usually at 5 minutes. What kind of restaurant can prepare food in five minutes? Adjusting to “Busy” doesn’t help. The button will give a longer time but when you auto confirm it’ll still change to 5 minutes, resulting in early drivers and headaches. There should be an option for merchants to be able to better control their prep times, i’m tired of having to argue with drivers and apologize to customers
