Funds haven’t been available for about a week.. I’ve never had issues with this app until recently. I sent money to this card and the balance has been incorrect. Says I have a balance of about $30 when it should be about $160. Called customer service and supposedly there are some system updates and was told to be patient. A week goes by and still the incorrect balance. Called again and was told if I used my card there is a chance the card won’t work? How does that make sense. After this experience I will stick with my usual bank and not use this anymore. I advise others to do the same.

Login problems. I continue to have issues with this app. I am supposed to get a deposit for $350 today and it still has not gone through and the app is having login issues once again. So frustrating cause that’s my hard earned money and I can’t even access it. It’s supposed to go through first thing in the morning. You all push to get this card and tell us we’lol get all kinds of rewards but half the time you can’t even use the app and it has issues ALL THE TIME!!

Fingers crossed (Updated). I just downloaded the app a few minutes ago, can’t say much about it functionality as the account is still very new. However, I like the user interface so far, hence the 4 stars. Would be updating this review in a couple of months. Few months passed, and here’s my verdict: The face login never seems to work even though I’ve turned it on several times. The text and email notifications on cash back can’t be turned off. Even though I have opted out of both several times, guess what, every time I earn cash back, the text and emails start again. Annoying. And most importantly, although this isn’t an app issue, but I think the methods of depositing and withdrawing from the account is not the most convenient and it’s literally costs you money to do either except of course you’re getting cash back from a store after making a purchase. Which kinds of defeat the entire purpose of the card. It’s definitely, not going to be an everyday card for me.

Avoid if possible!. The only benefit of having this card is avoiding the $0.50 charge to have you pay direct deposited via debit card. Everything else is absolutely horrible. Transactions goes missing without explanation. When you contact support, they respond with by saying they know it is an issue, don’t worry your funds are safe, and will be replaced when issue is resolved. It’s been almost a month, and I have not received an update. Issue has not been resolved, and My funds are still unaccounted for.

Can get in. I haven’t been able to get into the app in 2 days!! It just keeps giving a message that say there a problem on our end please try back later!! I need to see the account but can’t even login!!

Horrible customer service. This debit card is by far the worse. They have poor customers service when an issue needs to be escalated. You will get the runaround, nothing but delays and hassle. my account went into the negative due to a technical glitch in their system and they can’t give a timeframe as to when it will possibly be resolved, but they see the error in the account. Worst customer service. This company is ran by green Dot corporation. I had to give one star so that I could submit this review but if I had a choice it would be zero stars.

Horrible. I’ve had the card for a while with no problems but these last couple of months have been horrible. I like the cash back but the headache of trying to use the card isn’t worth it. The card is constantly getting declined with money on it. I had to change my direct deposit because of this issue. There’s no point in having the card if you can’t use the money on it.

Cut Up Threw away: USELESS. Cut Up my card and threw away card is useless. My money I should be able to spend however I want but they don’t see that way. I tried to place a online order for a part for my car kept getting declined even though have plenty of money. I reach out to support and they say they don’t allow transactions to international companies… this company is located in California USA so not international company. So obviously their system broken but they say nothing they can do. Yet buy a screen protector for my phone and transaction goes through just fine to a China company… so allow China but not USA… It’s my money if I wanna buy something from Mars what’s it to you…. So since card useless I cut up and switched cards new card lets me spend money how I want oh and also supports Apple Pay which this one doesn’t..

Card never works even when funded. My card gets declined all of the time. Got stranded needing gas yesterday because it just kept declining even though funded AND YES it was unlocked. Once I get the funds on it off, I’m trashing this card and waiting for the class action law suits for late fees and reinstallation fees accrued because we couldn’t access our earnings to pay our bills on time.

money. this app should have zero stars! do not i repeat DO NOT get this card or the app. its a scam they stole so much money from me and the disputes are worthless because there’s no one to really contact they just build a case if they decide not to give you your money back they won’t! i’m so dissatisfied in everything this app and customer service it’s horrible! easy for people to hack your card and account! the service is horrible!! they do not try to help you and only have one number

Worst Financial App ever. Took me over a week to even activate my card. Now I try to link my bank, because honestly after all the calls I have had with these people, I don’t trust them with my money. I really wish they would quit apologizing and fix it. I have an Uber Pro card that is also Green Dot. The app always works and the people when you call in, know what they are doing.

Avoid. I can’t get access to my account I’ve updated the app tried calling both numbers on the card and in the description and my last resort using forgotten username/password even though my username/passwords are the same and nothing. I need the money to go get gas for work and Pay bills this is a horrible situation to be in. Also I was never able to link the card with other banks or find somewhere to withdraw money without being charged. The app literally shows atms that don’t support them! Seems super shady to me

This app is a waste. This is an absolute waste of and app and a card. You cannot add your bank, you cannot deposit a check, you cannot go to an atm and add money… the customer service line cannot assist in anything requested. They cannot answer your questions appropriately. Nothing works on the app. You have to completely change your payroll to put money on the card… and then have to change it completely back again… to show history that doesn’t help in any fashion. It must be done every 30 days! What a headache. This card is useless and worthless. I’m afraid I will loose all my money trying to ‘load’ this card.

No apple pay or Zelle. Add the ability to add the card to Apple pay and enable Zelle transfer. It does not make sense to wait 5 days to transfer money to one’s bank account. If someone loses their, allow them to add a digital version of the card in apple pay til the physical card is received. Start working on these 3 issues. The rest is minimal.

Can’t login to app. Haven’t been able to login for 2 days now. Called yesterday and the rep said their system is down. Yet another day and still unable to login to app. Worse part is i cant even call the automated line to get my balance nor can i login to a website to get my balance.. only way i can get my balance is to wait on the phone for 40+ mins for a rep to answer. I am outraged at this lack of availability to get my balance

App Updates. I occasionally have to uninstall and reinstall app after an update is installed. Not a big deal now that I figured it out.

If you lose your card that’s it 🫠. You have to order a brand new card with no way to get your money when you need it right then and there.. why have card on the file of you can’t view it’s account numbers as an emergency backup? That should be like a liability standard. What’s wrong y’all can’t afford it?

Pointless. My biggest mistake was not reading the reviews before getting the card. I got the card for the cash back rewards on gas. The issue is that I can’t link my bank account to the card. The app brings you through the process and then fails. I called the customer support number and they informed me that this feature for my bank is not available yet even though it goes through the entire process with Plaid to link it. (Maybe a disclaimer should be added about that along with notating that there is no eta available.)

Can’t log into my account. I have been trying to log into my account since yesterday an still can’t. I try to call customer service but I can’t get through. When can I log into my account

Can’t log in. Since yesterday I have been unable to log into my account. I cannot make a purchase for an amount I know was in there but I was able to for a lower amount. I think some of my money was stolen but no way to check since I cannot gain access. The reset password button just says “problem on our end” Currently on hold to talk to a rep and the hold music is the most ear assaulting horrible music I have ever heard. Pretty sure they picked it just to get people to hang up. Not happy with this card at all right now. The only good thing is the cash back but even that is not worth this hassle.

Can’t access my money. I haven’t had any problems with this app or card until today! Every time I tried to make an online payment it’s getting declined and all my money is on this card! Called support and they said they will decline some transactions and let others go through, they just don’t know which ones will go through and which ones will decline. This is crazy! She said there’s nothing they can do right now and apologize for the inconvenience. Bad service!

App hasn’t been working. The app has not been working for a few days. This is extremely frustrating because how can you check your balance? They won’t tell you over the phone?! I’m confused as to why I don’t have access to my money/account???

terrifying. no cash back reward is worth the hassle of this app. YOU MAY LOSE ACCESS TO YOUR FUNDS bc you can’t log in. user name & password saved in apple key so it is definitely correct? doesn’t matter. this app will tell you it’s wrong, then the “forgot password “ option doesn’t work. dead link. so you call the number on the card. left on hold over an hour listening to the most annoying, insane music ever. only to get complete incompetence IF they answer. after only 1 week, i am closing this account. DONT ALLOW INCOMPETENT SHADY APPS TO CONTROL YOUR FUNDS.

Better than expected so far. Based on reviews I had seen, I was expecting a lot of headaches from this app. At first, I wasn’t impressed since I received an email saying that my card is on the way but in the meantime I can use my digital card by downloading the app, but in order to make an account in the app, I needed my card info… I’ve only made one deposit (via bank transfer) so far, but it took 5.5 days (including Saturday & Sunday) to be made available. My other bank accounts have never taken that long so it was frustrating to have my money in limbo & unusable for so long. However, I used the card for the 1st time yesterday & the transaction was processed through promptly. I appreciate that I get push notifications about my current balance every morning. Also I’m actually very impressed with the fact that the cashback was deposited the very next day after the transaction was made. That fact alone almost made me give 4 stars instead of just 3, but there are still other kinks that need to be worked out before I raise my rating higher.

Thee absolute worst. I hate this app.. I can’t log in I tried calling to speak to someone it wouldn’t even let me it would ask for all my info the say a error has occurred and hung up.. can’t even activated my card. It sent a notification saying my funds are available but yet and still can’t log in or use my card. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME it will drive you crazy oh and the Face ID doesn’t work 🤷🏽‍♀️

Unable to access account. I’m frustrated with this APP. I haven’t received my daily text message with my account balance. I’m also frustrated my APP is not allowing me to log in. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and still getting same results. I have called the customer service # several times and haven’t been able to get a live agent. This is so upsetting. Since I have no idea of my balance or anyway of getting my balance I will be canceling my card and transferring my funds to my traditional banking. Someone needs to contact me in regards to this matter. I have tried all I can… frustrated beyond repair.

Can’t log in. The app won’t let me log in. It says my user and password are wrong. That’s not correct. I hit the trouble signing in link and the app states it’s having trouble on its end. I can’t get my balance update or use my card. The toll free number doesn’t help either. The automated system doesn’t share balance and transaction history. I have to wait to speak with a rep, but after waiting on hold for 22 minutes I gave up. Fix the app. Don’t tell me to reset my credentials. I tried that but the app says it’s not working. This isn’t user error. It’s the app. I see many other reviews stating the same issue.

God Awful. The app has been down for over 24 hrs. You can’t log in. You can’t access your account any other way because there is no website to do so. I had a deposit sent to this account 5 days ago that still hasn’t shown up in the account and even if it does I wouldn’t know because their God awful app doesn’t work anymore! I will be closing this account as soon as they fix the app and I suggest you do the same because it’s completely useless. Oh and customer service? Forget about it, they have no idea what’s going on or when the app will be up again or offer any kind of useful information other than for you to send an email to a green dot address that goes unanswered, what a joke 😂😂😂

Can’t access my cash back. I can’t get my cash back rewards money out or take any money out that I have previously put in from my bank. It can only go in (or out through spending). What annoys me the most is that I got this card so that I could earn cash back on gas purchases and it will say I have X amount of “cash back” but then that money won’t show up in my balance or anywhere for me to spend it. Also, it is super annoying that it tells me my balance EVERY SINGLE MORNING. Like I don’t need that. Half the time nothing has even changed!

Transactions take too long to clear. I’m pretty good at keeping track of things, but this app…it takes way too long for transactions to clear on the card. Also, I haven’t been able to access the app all day. I can’t even see my balance or what transactions are pending or complete. Ugh.

If I could leave zero stars I would!! SO NOT USE THIS BANK. I have had this account for 2 years at first it was great then the issues started and never stopped! They have charged me 5 times for an account that I cancelled a year ago then it takes them 10 days to put the money back then they retake the money this last time because they said they sent me an email asking for proof which I have givin them multiple times before and still haven’t givin it back! They are always have technical issues I just went to put gas in my car big shocker they declined then in the chat I was told they are having technical issues which that has happened a handful of times this bank is a joke if u can go elsewhere as soon as I have access to my money I will be closing my account!

Basic app with basic features. You can only interact with your account via the app. You cannot call to get balance information or initiate a transfer. When the system went down for 2 days, this was a nightmare especially if you had your card locked.

App login issues. I have been unable to log in and unlock my card so I can receive my funds from working and I’m a single parent trying to provide for my child. I am currently on hold for 45 minutes, the system hung up on me earlier. This is ridiculous it’s been down for 3 days no updates no one helping. I need my money.

You won’t get your money using the debit card.. Since Flex has made deposits available Mon-Friday I haven’t been paid in a week. I’ve been on the phone with support and flex says my payment was sent, green dot says flex never sent the deposit request. Now I have a weeks worth of pay in limbo. Flex support said that my information on the debit app didn’t match my information that flex has. So I changed the deposit method back to ACH and I still haven’t received my money. Best advice don’t use the debit card option. I’m tired of this HEADACHE!

Works when it wants to.. You can’t call customer service for your account balance, when the app will not let you log in. I didn’t forget my password. Everything worked fine hours ago and now nothing. There’s nothing wrong with my internet connection, it’s this darn app. It would be a great card if the app wasn’t so unreliable.

Find another bank. I only utilize this bank because of the cash back perks (which is not much) and the fact that you get paid slightly faster. I recently made a purchase that was cancelled the very same day that I made it. Of course my money was taken immediately, but each time I asked about why I had not been refunded, I was given every excuse imaginable. First, it would be available within 10 days. Then, it would be available by the 23rd and if not, “please come back and let us know”. Shocker! The 23rd approaches… nothing. I contact again on the 25th and I’m told to wait until the 27th because it’s a “holiday weekend”. Can you guess what today is? The 27th and when I asked about my money yet again, I was told that they had to put in a ticket for tech support with a wait time for 2 business days. Apparently, they need to know if they’ve “already returned my money” because I would totally be WASTING MY TIME by contacting them after already receiving my money 🙄 Needless to say that this was the last straw! Just find another bank because it’s not worth the stress.

Don’t use them this will become your worst nightmare. Don’t use them even the customer service are helpless every buses debit card has rewards go elsewhere card replacement takes 16 days and bank transfer’s 5-7 days no overdraft and u can’t connect them to plaid or use account and routing number purchases. The cash back rewards are a gift from the headaches but it’s not enough to deal with it.

Why such a low rating? It’s good. I never had any issues with my at all. Most banks charge a monthly fee, don’t have chat support, etc. And 6-12% off gas for being a Flex driver? C’mon.. that’s the whole point of it imho and it’s an attractive incentive.

Issues. Some times it tell me wrong user name and password when I know FOR AURE the information is correct. So I’ll try to change password and a error message will say SOMETHING WENT WRONG ON THEIR END. Leave me unable to check balance or lock card.

Can’t login now!!. I just signed up yesterday, created a user name and password and was able to login right away. The next day I tired logging in with the SAME user name and SAME password and now its saying that my credentials are invalid? What’s going on with this app? After reading all the reviews of all sorts of issues, I don’t know about this now! Disappointed.

No Support!. No bad or good problems to suggest as of yet! I sent my card accidentally to an old address and for weeks can not figure out how to contact support and request a new card be sent. Impossible for me to find support for an issue.

Customer service is HORRIBLE. Outdated gui and system when contacting the help department for your card and account. They’ll make you wait over 5 minutes for a response, send you a message when you are not looking and then countdown from 30 seconds if they don’t get a response in that time they will cancel out your chat and you have to put in a new ticket. They are also very rude.

Works somewhat alright. Face login doesn’t work. Is not compatible with Apple Pay (even though the issuing bank works with Apple Pay). Unable to manipulate the notifications..once you turn them on, they seem to stay on. Interface is nice; if you’re an active Flex driver…you tend to get paid faster via this card versus other means but the lack of Apple Pay compatibility and funds transfers hampers the enjoyment of it.

Payroll block. No connection to capital one. No atm where you can actually deposit. They require all direct deposits to be labeled as “payroll” and every 30 days or you can’t even deposit a check. Working as a contractor for 10 years this is the worst system I have ever worked with to be able to manage my finances.

Garbage!!!. After numerous conversation with different reps, I STILL CANNOT LINK THIS CARD TO MY CAPITALONE BANK. Their customer reps are clueless how to fix it, tickets were sent to fix, but no feedback was ever given even after 2 weeks of them receiving a reply to the ticket sent. Customer service is non-existent with this people. I requested for my account to be closed. Not dealing with the headache and incompetent reps any longer.

I should have listened. You would think I would have seen all the 1 star reviews and ran the other direction. Nope. I applied for the card and downloaded the app like an idiot. I switched from a perfectly good debit card to this just to get a few pennies worth of cash back on gas, and now I guess I just won’t get paid at all! Money was sent to my account, yet nothing is pending and $0 balance. I’m pretty upset. It’s not an issue of waiting, the money is just gone. No one knows what happened.

Closed my account. They closed my accounts due to suspicious activity but no one called me I had to find out while trying to get a Lyft to go pick up my daughter from school after being called that she fell down some stairs this was on Friday November 30th,2023 they said give them 2 business days to verify my account it’s now Thursday December 7th,2023 and their telling me my account is closed and the check I have being deposited to the account. I don’t know where my money is that was supposed to be on the card but they said they can close my account whenever they feel like it. DO NOT USE THIS CARD IT IS A SCAM THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WHEN YOU NEED IT THE MOST.

Can’t even get a account. My problem is not so much with the app but with the bank. I tried applying for a card through the app and got a email saying “we are unable to verify your identity” “either because of a name for address change”. How am I unable to be verified of my identity to apply for the flex card, when you have my information from the flex app? Not only that I already had a account with green dot! And the fact that once I’m not approved I can’t reapply is ridiculous. I had no name change or address change there should be no reason why I can’t be verified I have been working for flex for years. I called customer service and they said there is nothing they can do! A better solution to this problem would be to have the customer verify their identity by sending proof of identity and address. ( ID, SSN, and a valid mail piece) I’m upset because I’m working everyday to level up..for benefits.. to a card that I can’t use! especially since gas prices are soaring!

App is not working. App has not been working for 2 days and you call them and they do not solve anything

Card issues. If your card gets hacked or stolen there is no protection or you can’t get your money back re hat you lost.

Unable to access account. The app has been great for the past few months, but as on yesterday I cannot access my account. It’s day 2 of no access to my funds with no help from support. I am unable to verify that my deposits are going through. Fix the app!

Flex Card. Bank transfers take WAY to long to be available to use on my card. DAYS should be seconds!

Can’t add two external bank accounts. “In app it gives option to add two additional banks. It wouldn’t let me link my card for SDCCU! Big Reason I wanted to get this app.” I was told by developer to GO TO MY BANK to link my debit card to flex account… Wasn’t told there are FEES associated with any bank transfers / transactions. LIES! CLOSE MY ACCOUNT IM DONE WITH THIS.

Great App (when it works). It won’t let me login. I didn’t forget my password. It says it’s an error on their end.

Stay away. Money is slow to get into account. When you want to talk to someone, it’s through chat only, and agents are in India. Worst scenario possible. Literally, anywhere else but here. If you don’t believe me, look at the reviews here where it takes them 2 months to respond. STAY AWAY !!!

the worst banking experience of my life. I opened the account, got paid on the account, never received my card, could never access my money, worst and unprofessional support ever, eventually they just closed my account. My experience with this service couldn’t get any worse.

They dont keep up with your money. I transfer money over from my vault and it vanished. I called and ask about it. We went through every transaction and I was missing money. I guess they use common core math because now im missing money n they dont see how.

Unbelievably unreliable. I have been unable to login for days, you will be left without access to your account and no customer service. Definitely avoid like the plague and please dont respond to my review telling me to call customer support. Already did that.

Wish I could add to wallet. This app has been ok for me. I just wish it had the capability to add to my wallet on my phone so I could use Apple Pay with it

Face login doesn’t work. I turned on the using Face ID to login option in security so that I don’t have to enter my passcode every time. It hasn’t worked yet. I even have the latest version downloaded. Annoying.

System error. I’ve downloaded this app a week ago waiting for my earnings to post to my account and now I’m unable to login

Don’t wastes your time, and get mad for free.. March 21,2021 . Who don’t like 6% cash back, right? But card charge u after 3 times withdrawals in a month . Zelle transfers, forget it. , some atm, inside network may bend u 😂. Costumer support , are they lost?😅.... resume , take it and hit the walls several times until u end in a mental hospital 😅😀😅😂🍆🥥🍎🌽🍑🍌

App has improved. I have been unable to link this card to my bank account. I can’t pay my bills with it or transfer the money to my bank account because it’s routing number isn’t recognized. I’ve called support multiple times and they open tickets, but I don’t hear back from anybody. ( UPDATE ) I still cannot link my card to capital one however I am able to pay some of my bills with the card because I can link to other bank accounts like Chase & Synchrony. * Yesterday, I took some money out of the atm to go physically put it in my bank account. I used the app to find an in network atm & was charged $3 because it said it was not in network. If it’s not in network, why does the app say it is??? ( UPDATE ) I received a $3 refund and the next time I used the ATM I went to a different location and it didn’t charge me any extra fees at all. * I’m just fed up with it. The app is glitchy & I constantly have the delete & reinstall to get into the app. It’s a nice idea, but it needs work. ( UPDATE ) I haven’t had a problem logging into the app in a few weeks. It hasn’t been acting glitchy at all. * If you’re just using it as a debit card then it’s probably fine. ( UPDATE ) Overall I find the app has improved as far as the glitches go. I haven’t had to uninstall and reinstall it in weeks. And Ive figured out a way to pay my bills online with it, so I’m much happier. (Update) I didn’t realize there was a difference between ATM locations and deposit locations until you mentioned it. Thanks for the information.

it does not allow me to enter the account. Since yesterday it won't let me in. bill. I get the wrong password (and if it is the correct one) and it does not allow me to change it

Manage EWallet. I cannot add my debit card to my EWallet in order to pay with just my phone and not my debit card. That’s a Must Fix.

4-7 days for funds to be available!!!. I seriously feel that the direct transfers i wanna make will be walking on feet until they become available.

Can't login during the payday. They have the worst servers, and they can't handle a large number of drivers' transactions. I can't log in all day on the payment date

didn’t received any card. i keep receiving statements from it but i didn’t receive the card yet since dec 2022 and the apps doesn’t have the option to fix that and the trouble logging in option doesn’t give me an option to open my account from my email and i keep having statement notification from the card that i don’t have.

Not responding. At first I didn’t have any problems, now the app will not let me log in, it’s not letting me change my password. I’m very disappointed.

Absolutely horrible. Checking my balance this morning for the first time in a week. Tried multiple times a day but the app was somehow down for DAYS. Couldn’t even check the balance at an atm. Will NEVER use this again. Not even close to being worth it.

Worst debit card ever. Transferring funds from a different bank takes more than a week. You must pay large fees to reload it, after the 3rd atm withdrawal you’ll get charged aswell. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Worst!. Worst customer service in the history of banking. You’ll be left with no access to your account through the app or anywhere else when they update. Which is continuous.

Terrible app. App has a bunch of bugs can’t link my bank account to transfer funds easily. Even got a new card to exactly match my name. Now I also can’t even log in due to technical issues on their end. It’s been two days

GO2BANK. Can we use GO2BANK app to log in instead of Debit card and also change the name of Debit card to Felx Card or Flex Debit or Felx Debit card instead of hard to find it in the search bar. Redesign your user interface if you aren’t allowing your users to use GO2BANK app. Thanks
