App crashes constantly. I really like CBS and those last local app was functional. This new app is abysmal. It crashes constantly, to the extant that I haven’t been able to read a single story! Please fix, or at least do not replace function apps until the new one works!

CBS new app. Absolutely horrible app. You should go back to the drawing board.

Terrible Ap. I have several Philly news aps on my ipad and this one is among the worst.

Awful. Downloaded the new and improved app. The old one stopped working after the download. This app is not new and improved. I can’t even read or watch anything. As soon as I tap on it the app crashes and goes back to my home screen. Very disappointed. Wish I never downloaded it and left the old one that worked perfectly. Every time I get an alert I tap on it. It takes me to the article but as soon as I move it to read it the app crashes yet again. Should’ve just updated the old app that worked.

Weather app. The new weather app is poor compared to the previous one. I prefer a local report on the weather vs the data available on the major apps. Bit currently the major provide more details. I’ll use this one for a short while to see if it improves. If not, I’ll delete it and move to a different source to get my weather report.

No thanks. You discontinued the weather app to force people to use your news app. I deleted both, problem solved.

Let me choose news sections. Wish the app would allow me to choose the type of news I’m interested in by category.

Weak. Lame, won’t load most news stories ...why bother when I can just watch the local news on tv

App doesn’t work on my iPhone 8. App crashes every time I try to use. Freezes the whole phone. Old app worked perfectly but it said to download new and improved app...

Dismal. Went to cbs/kyw for breaking stories in the past. Now I get very slow downloading and a pile of memory and battery eaten up by app.

Terrible. Crashes as soon as it opens. Know CBS Corporate is downsizing their news operations across the country, but driving their audiences to ABC or NBC is nuts. X loyal viewer.

Old App Was Way Better. This is a “crash and burn” app. What was wrong with the old one? I guess I’ll stick with the NBC 10 app for now along with NJ.com.

Not what I had in mind. I don’t understand how you could take a great weather app, with weather warnings and interactive maps and force the entire local news, which, I don’t want, on me. The anemic weather page is not even close to ok. I had to download the CBS Minnesota weather app to get the important weather information in the format I like for Philly area. Bring the weather only app back. If someone wants the news, let them decide what news app they want.

Bring the old one back!. Read a little and it crashes, fix this so we can be informed quickly. This is not better than the old one.

CBS Philly Salute!. Good effort folks! However you have 30 something reviews on the App Store, 2.1 rating it’s like 40%. Please contact APPLE DIRECTLY. They will help out. Marie V. This app is horrible it keeps crashing

Don’t bother. Haven’t been able to read a thing. It crashes immediately after opening.

Why just in portrait mode. Can’t you make this App available in Landscape mode ? Much easier to read and use. Can’t be that hard to do.

Horrible up grade.. Was using the old version for some months and it was great. If a article showed up on my notifications I was able to access that article easily by clicking it and it directly took me to that article. With this new upgrade I click on that article that popped up and it just takes me to the main page????? In search of the article. Which most of the times I give up. So now I have to look for some other app for my local news or just wait till this gets fixed.

Still TERRIBLE after update. Why is it for ‘Highlights’ (the news) you still have to keep hitting the ‘Load More’ button??? The other topics don’t require that. I’ll just use another local news source. Your advertisers won’t be happy when people stop using your app because of a poor design.

No dark mode. A "new and improved" app in 2020 without dark mode? I'll continue using their website with reader mode on to make it dark, so I'm not blinded from going from a dark mode of hone to a bright white app. CBS must have had their friend's high school kid make this app.
