If I could give it zero, I would. This app is unbelievably complicated for a first time user to use. Are you used to be able to just insert your credit card and bingo, you’d be on a bike. Why did they get rid of that? The city of Toronto simply can’t do anything right.

Absolute Scam. Do not use this app. I reported it to the App Store. Absolutely nothing to do with the Toronto bike share system

Lots of loss time. We have used the bikes for 2 days. Lots of fun. Though we lost at least 90 minutes all together because the information on the website and the application is not up to date, not working, etc…. It’s not reliable.

Scam. Complete scam. Thought I was signing up for Toronto bike share and once I put in my information it redirected me to some starller website immediately got off yet it still charged my credit card. Don’t fall for their nonsense

App is a Scam - You Can’t Sign Out Bikes. This app is designed to trick you into clicking what looks like a button to start unlocking a bike share bike but is in fact an ad for an unrelated third party service. This app does not let you sign out or unlock bike share bikes in any way. Do not download.

Get it together. Have used a number of public bike or e-scooter services across different cities and this is by far the worst. Slow to load and interface is outdated, not user friendly at all. Mobile site is better which defeats the purpose of having an app. Disappointing service for such a large city.

Scam. Scam will charge you $40 immediately after the initial $1 BE CAREFUL

Very poor. Really bad, pop up adds posing as part of the app that you have to pay to get rid of and can’t book a bike. Couldn’t be worse. Used to be a big fan, it was so convenient. Now a big waste of time and not at all convenient.

Beware of Scam ads. I accidentally signed up for a Starller ad. Thinking I was signing up for Bike Share. I am horrified and now scared they are going to scam my credit card. Feels really unsafe to use the app. I have to go to the bank and change my whole credit info.

SCAM. It’s not a bike share app. It’s a scam to get you into some subscriptions and draw money from your card. I don’t understand why it’s still in the AppStore

Can’t Book, Doesn’t remember login. The app doesn’t even let you RENT the bike it’s sole function is to tell you how many bikes there are- which Google Maps already does just fine. Also, the website sucks it doesn’t even remember your login info. Toronto you can do so much better than this bureaucratic nightmare.

Awful experience. Took me forever to understand how to unlock a bike and then when I got where I was going There’s nowhere near me to lock up my bike. I have been a be member for several years but this is a massive hassle. Easier to buy a bike

Worst app ever. Contact screens all not working. App wouldn’t load current location. Paid for 3 bikes. Could only get one. Wouldn’t unlock other bikes. No codes given. Late at night too when no cabs available - unsafe after a concert. Lakeshore and Ontario place. I want a refund

Scam ads. The official “Bike share Toronto” only has a website and no app. This app pretends to be official app and has a “continue” button which you to a movie website and you did not realize until you type into all visa info and create the account. Need to call visa to see how I can block it. Beware.

Just buy a bike. I’ve used apps like this all around Europe, they’re so straight forward and hassle free, this is just over complicated and terrible, also may be a scam, made an account on the app and it didn’t recognise on the website even tho they took €1.67 from my account

Do not download scam. The ads in this app make it seem like you can register to use the bikes. Then will charge you a random amount instead of letting you access bikes.

Crap. Non intuitive. Impossible to get working

This is a horrible App and website!. This App sucks. I'm not hugely tech savvy but I can call an Uber, rent a Bird scooter in multiple cities and order stuff online. This is useless!!!! It actually dissuades people from performing a sustainable act for the environment. How can it not be better?

Credit card scam. This app redirected me to a login website that stole my credit card number...and I never even got a bike out of it!

No way to unlock bikes. Just shows where the stations are and how many bikes no to use bikes

SCAM - this app is a scam! DO NOT DOWNLOAD.. Gives you a map of the area with the stops and relevant info, and then as soon as you click “start here” brings you to starlet.com. I was flustered and made an account and put my credit card info in and you have to call to cancel the subscription but they were SUPER sketchy when I contacted them and asked for my credit card info and when I wouldn’t give it to them I hung up. Now on hold with my bank. Ugh really sucks, don’t download!

Awful Experience. The app is incredibly useless and outdated in comparison to that of almost any other city bike share such as Bixi in Montreal.

Seems like a scam. There was an add that seemed like it allows you to book a ride. But in reality it took me to ‘offer-starller.com’ Please be aware of these deceptive pop ups. I am getting in touch with my bank to be on the safe side.

Credit Card Scam!. This app has ads placed at the bottom to make you think it is part of the app, it steals your credit card information!

So far, this app is embarrassingly bad. I can figure out what’s going on, but I keep trying to install it and it keeps directing me to third-party sites that want my credit card info so they can charge me for streaming services or a fitness club or whatever. If these third-parties are processing payments for bike share, they should explain that. Because as it is, it certainly gives the impression that the app has been hacked.

Fix this app. Why would you make an app where you can’t buy the passes?? This is really dumb.
