Ads cause lag. I don’t mind ads on free games, I really don’t. But countless times the ads pop up during the game causing it to lag just as the ball reaches the bat. In a game where timing your swing is important to beating your opponent this is pretty frustrating.

Good game but has some problems. When I first downloaded the game, I ended up paying to stop the ads because it was that good. Now that it’s been updated, The ads are back and nothing happens when I try to restore the purchase. Kind is feeling a little ripped off now.

I shouldn’t be writing a review. Lol I shouldn’t be writing a review because every time I do the game hates me but I love this game cuz I can beat it almost all the time except the challenge for some reason the challenger gets perfect hits all the time and is like no way of catching him if there’s a way you could fix that, that would be nice but other than that I love it I don’t even care if I have to watch ads in this game that’s how much I love it I normally play against people and lose and then have to buy gems or something to get better but this game you don’t have to this is the first game that I actually put a good freakin review on it and another thing let us go to different city’s that would be awesome like hit the twin towers or hit a higher building that or even play in outer space that would be cool jus some ideas not tryin to tell you how to run your game but that would make it better

App leaderboard and support glitches. Loved the app BUT, most recent update has a glitch that limits the functionality and you can’t open the leaderboard. Plus when you click on app support, the link takes you to a website that is not in English and there is no way to change the language so you can’t log your issue.

Frustrating. The game is a fun however if you don’t stay on the game for hours you will never advance. Once you log out your done starting over with rookies. Don’t waist your time. They are more worried about advertise then the game it self. Just another advertisement gig. Waiste of time. By the way all the nick names are taken when you send a review

Fun. Too many ads take away from the game other than that is cool

Great Game. It’s all about the timing but this game is better than other batting games I’ve played on any cellular device in a long time.

Game. This is a really good and fun game it is very easy to play I would recommend it.

Positive reviews are a joke. I mean they have to be fake or paid for. This game breaks every 10 seconds and resets you back to the beginning. But those ads sure work. Pretty obvious where the developers focus was.... After every round is an ad, and I'm not joking..It's beyond ridiculous I gotta say. I can't recommend to anyone at all.

The rounds ladder screen. The game is rather entertaining, but I get furious when I’m in the semi finals and the the ladder screen stays ups while the game continues to play. Then it stays up there leaving me to exit out the game and start all over. HEEEEELLLLLLPPPP

Bugged every time. I really like this game & it is fun to help pass the time for a short bit. But unfortunately after playing a few quick games it gets bugged out & freezes every time you advance into the quarterfinals. I meen every time. Played it to the quarterfinals probably a good 10 times & each time halfway through the game just freezes. The pitcher stops pitching but the time continues to tick down to 0 & then just sits there until you close the app never being able to advance to the next lvl & having to start over each time

Would do zero stars!👿. Sometimes it won’t even let me hit the ball!!!! This game is a waste of time. And also why isn’t there like a practice mode? I played verses real people that were better than me! And I wasn’t bad or anything but it wouldn’t let hit the ball!!! I do not like this game it is also very laggy!👎🏻👎🏻

Could use..... I like this game but I just got an idea for something to add to it. What if each player could choose the next pitch style that is thrown, curve, fast, slider, whatever. I think that would add a faster pace to the game and a little challenge.

No ad options doesn’t work. Fun game, but I paid the $2.99 to not see ads between every match and I’m still seeing ads. Tried to fill out the form to report the problem to the developer, but the form isn’t in English, so wasn’t able to.

Homer City Addiction. This game is perfect for any competitive person! Try and beat a new player each round or try and dominate your previous high score. I will be playing this game at any chance I get.

Could be 5 stars but...... Ads I get it ads keep the game going but when you take an awesome potential 5 star game and flood it with ads to the point you can’t play it becomes terrible I wanted to give this game p5 stars and couldn’t because of Ads! Please update the game. I love this game it’s good for killing time but please update the game sometimes it gets boring because once you unlock everything your playing for nothing. So please update your game.

Just the ads. The game is good Time to play when your bored. Just EVERY TIME I click something THEIRS AN ADS. Just less ads but everything else is good.

Junk. This app is a complete piece of garbage. I can’t get through a series without it freezing up. Very annoying when you work your way to the top then it freezes. At that point it’s game over. Also sitting through ad after ad after ad. This is the worst app I’ve ever had with how much the ads interrupt it. Probably why it freezes

Bugged and freezes. Hoping the update fixes the freezing because I am having the same problem as another review I get to the quarter finals or even sometimes before them and it freezes or the game kicks me out. Really frustrating because I like this game

Great time killer. I had a few problems but their support team was very fast to fix the problem (no add’s payment). Once my only problem was fixed I haven’t been able to stop playing!!!!!! Awesome game great customer support!

Do not spend 2.99 to remove ads. So it seems that making a rather substantial purchase when it comes to ad removal would assure a player of no longer having to deal with ads. I’ve tried everything short of this review. I still get ads between every match and it seems like a good game gets destroyed by the onslaught of ads but also by the distrust that a player now has for the game and the developer. Don’t spend the money on this game unless you see resolution. Update: It always helps when a developer makes contact with those that have an issue with their product. In this case they resolved it and I am thankful for the quick response and resolution. As to the game, I would easily give this game 5 stars if it showed more depth. The game mechanics and fun factor are 5 star worthy. The issue is the shallow depth in which the game goes with scenic variations and pitch styles. The bigger issue IMO is the items for purchase. The cupboard is pretty bare here except for a few bats and people and color variations. The end result is you keep accumulating coins for wins and points and after a day have nothing left to use these coins for. These are not hard additions so I am hopeful we will see more depth from this potentially standout game. It’s got true star potential so please make this game as great as it can be.

Awkwardly addicting. The regular tournament style gameplay was pretty boring as it wasn’t challenging. I did end up playing it enough to get around 500 coins before I noticed you could play the boss level. That’s by far the most difficult game as you need to hit every ball perfect. I did beat the game and unlocked everything within probably 1-2 hours of playing the game casually though. Disappointed that there isn’t more content.

Fun way to kill time. This game is pretty fun, not much to it. It can be challenging to hit every ball perfect to get higher scores. The competition gets a little harder as you go along but not much. Probably the best part of the game is that you can pay to get rid of ads, or you can challenge their boss and get rid of ads for free if you win. This is a cool concept except for the fact the boss hits every ball perfect. So if you hit every ball perfect and tie, you still lose. Other than that, it’s a fun game.

Too many add’s. The gameplay is fine there is just to many adds, and the game screwed me and showed an add after 5-7 mins of the tournament and didn’t let me exit it then I had to restart the app and lost all my progress.

Fun game but ads are brutal, and I Paid!. I paid $2.99 to eliminate ads yet they’re still showing up between rounds, no, not because I selected to watch the ad for extra points. The ads are showing up even when I’m trying to just skip to the next round, money wasted.

Couldn’t Stop Playing. As the levels got harder I found myself addicted to the challenge of the game. I am a real good batter in real life so I could not stop playing till I became just as good in the game. If you are a baseball player or love sports games this is the game for you...bet you can’t beat my one round score of 2200

Fun but has its issues. Fun game, just a couple issues... 1. Am I really playing against other people? If I go offline it still works... 2. Why can’t I see how many trophy’s I’ve won? I keep winning the “Homer City tournament” but it seems to not matter because it doesn’t show up anywhere. 3. Why can’t I just see my record? It only appears once I start a game. 4. Is there a plan to do something with the stars in the long game? Once you beat GOAT they’re totally useless. I won’t invest in the no-ads purchase unless at least some of these issues are resolved. I’ll quickly get tired of this game it’s not innovated. In response to other comments I’ve read: do not change the GOAT!! The whole point should be that you need a perfect game to beat him. He gets a regular shot the first time then gets perfects for the rest. If you get all perfect you can beat him. It took me a lot of tries but I finally got him. You should not change it because it can be done and it’s extremely satisfying. Don’t take that away from people, hard things are worth doing. Btw, my record as of this post is 84-3-7 😉

Unlocking Challenge. Whether amateur or experienced the challenge process to unlock special bats and gear set to high. You have to have perfect shots every time against Goat every time. I have tied several times but you need to rethink the process to a gradual difficulty level or people will give up trying.

Hidden Gem. I found this hidden gem randomly searching for sporting games and I stumbled upon this! Super fun and challenging. Every round I’m trying to beat the next person while also aiming to beat my own previous score! I would definitely recommend

First time player. Sorry but I don’t understand how to get it going. I played the first round but now it’s stuck there.

Coordination. I played homer city for quite some time. It’s a challenge. Timing the pitch so you can hit a perfect ball for a maximum score. But lately I’ve become irritated at the ads. I understand the need for them. But there’s gotta be another way. Like not having to watch them while smacking homers. This is easily a 5 star game but the ads. You guys already know. I’ll be fair and give the 5. Now resume the Ritalin with the ads.

Ads Ruined the Game. I used to love playing this game until they decided to throw and an in between each round. Why would I want to watch an ad EVERY TIME I play a round when both the ad and the round are the same amount of time? No thanks.

Nice game. Almost felt like a real baseball player. Round 7 and higher felt somewhat harder but overall great game.

Too many ads. Way to many ads on here. Ad before you play, as after you play, want a rematch hey guess what another ad. Fun game but way to many ads.

Bots?. I love this game. I should say loved. I thought I was playing other people, but it’s bots. You can start a match then close the app come back in an hour and that same person is waiting to play you. I’ve also hit rematch and left the commercial on and came back later and the same player is waiting for the rematch. Please make it so people are actually competing. And please don’t change GOAT he already misses the first one. I beat him all the time, it’s a challenge.

Baseball fan, goat difficulty. As a baseball fan I love this game but the goat player is unrealistic and 100% impossible to keep up with. For someone to enjoy playing it you HAVE to drop the difficulty on it for anyone to have a chance otherwise I dominate most opponents by more than 200 a game. And I noticed whenever the goat and I both score the same perfect consecutive hits he’s still somehow getting 100+ more points than me so you have to re-even the scoring or no one will ever beat it! Otherwise amazing game!

Love the game but?. The batter won’t work in the Bonus round! Tried reinstalling but problem continues. Is there a fix? Having a problem in the homer city tournament round as game gets hung up as you move up tournament ladder! Initially it got stuck in quarter final! Next day it was frozen on round 3. Is there a fix to this problem? Thank you!

Use to be awesome. It use to be a really fun game but the latest updates have made it horrid. The pitches aren’t accurate anymore, now they appear about the batters head plus it’s super glitchy during the pitch which makes timing impossible. And now the latest update shut the game down every time I open the game and start it. Seems to be getting worse. If I could go back several updates I would.

homer city. I have an iPod. I also don’t have internet. This game would only let me play one round. It would skip rounds. It got really annoying. I deleted it and reinstalled it. It now doesn’t skip rounds and no ads pop up when I am on the internet.

Too many ads. It was fun before.. ads every 3 levels, however now the level is shorter (20sec) and adds after each one... you spend more time watching ads than playing. I just deleted it as it became way too annoying...

It has several glitches. The ads are one thing. But the issue being that I have is when you play the game and try to continue to play the level chart stays on the screen. You can’t play and see the game if you have the chart covering the whole screen.

Great game but the ads.... First off this is a super fun game. Easy way to kill time or a way to not be bored. The only thing wrong is the ads! After every round you get a ad. I understand that every game needs income but these ads are way to much. But I highly recommend this game.

BOO. I played this for 3 minutes and I don’t like it so make this game better by not giving 50 pts for it cuz I was winning 50-0 (I got 50 with 2 25s) then he just scored a 50 at the last second. Also make the when the time runs out the game ends not 0 second shots. That’s all bye :(

Good game but wait. I love this game it’s amazing I’ve practiced so much and I finally beat the GOAT play with a score of like 7000 something and it said all bats and characters are unlocked but when I went into it none of the bats were unlocked for me please fix this and unlock all the bats for 😩

Homer city. I win practically all the time. The problem is its always a repeat and never goes to an6thing else to test you against competition. Sometimes the picture freezes when the batting cannon is pitching. Could use an update and more competitive games.

It was fun. It’s fun until your opponent leaves mid way through so that there record won’t be effected. So dump there are other games to waste your time on.
