Pure (controllable) Crazy!. Very VERY fun! At first glance it seems like it’s gonna take and hour long video or a lengthy sit down with the manual. But I learned enough to have a blast just by poking around. It’s broad and deep and is perhaps the most fun live performance app in iOS! The ability to regenerate the melodic sequence is my favorite aspect. You can choose any combo of variables: note, gate, scale, key, then regenerate on the fly, reverse, shift, vary and undo it all to revert back to a base melody. It’s really all that - just buy it already!

Fun and Functional. Great stuff. Super fun to play with and great features. Easy to bang out a quick drum sesh and definitely easy to work into a solid track.

Really great, I wish it had a drum grid. I wish it had a mode to switch into grid editing mode for drums.

Freakin great.. Maybe add the ability to go up to 400 bpm. That way i can make it goto 800 bpm by doubling it.

Fun Powerhouse. It’s easy to lose yourself for hours just messing with the filter on the presets. This thing is super easy to use, and then has a ton of power and tweakability underneath. One of the best iOS music apps period. The filter is unreal. The thoughtful selection of drum sounds lets it transcend the typical 808 emulation... Yay!

The Ultimate Acid Trip. It’s all right here folks. No need to look any further if you want a premium dose of high quality acid app coding. I’ve tried a lot of emulations and also the real deal. This tops it all for the most fun and comprehensive all-in-one self contained experience. The sound is full and warm with definition and detail. The sequencer is a real treat. The scale modes and variation/shuffle function is excellent. It plays well with other apps and I’m going to try and sequence my TD-3 with Pure Acid in the next day or so. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this until a couple days ago. Better late to the party than never. My only minor and petty niggle is that you can’t change the custom colors for the main 303 knobs. If that’s the only gripe I have then this app is near perfect. I can’t keep it closed.

Nice job!!. Great sound replication - most of the sound of rebirth but kind of more fun to tweak and play. Totally worth the $10 ask - so far this and every other synth this company has put out have been amazing- almost don’t even have to think when I see JimAudio made it - it’s a buy!!!

Great for sequencing td3 as well. I love this app, it sounds good and love the bassline sequencer, so fun, easy, and intuitive, especially the composition feature that generates basslines for you based on key, length, gate, and rest, I like the sound but also love that I can send midi to my td3 with it.

My face is melting. (in the BEST possible way). I have yet to scratch the surface with this thing; completely blown away thus far. The sounds are great, the beats are great, and the 303 is gorgeous. Just beginning? Try this: go to the mixer page. At the top left is the play button. Push that. Up pops a groove and a bassline. Tweak knobs. play with the effects. experiment turning the bassline or drums on and off to build tension. Getting tired of that bassline? Bring up the bassline page. tap the grid where the notes lighting up as each step goes by. WHen you tapped, a bunch of options pop up. Just tap one of those buttons, and the pattern is instantly reworked, in the same key at the same tempo. Instant break. Now hit Undo... and you are back to the original track. This thing is SO EASY AND FUN AND GOOD. Much love to the developer, A+++. Might send back the TD-3... not sure I need it now.

Great for Beginners and Veterans. I am a beginner in the iOS music production world. I really got frustrated with many apps, trying to make synths work with certain DAWs, trying to get something started and enjoy myself in the process. This app delivers exactly what I want! It’s super intuitive and compact. So I find myself learning while I can actually have sort of a live jam session, or even program nice drum patterns with ease. Now the sound of the Bass in this is App is a certain kind of sound from earlier Acid House Days, or maybe Chemical Brothers come to mind. But there are swing options which make for a whole different vibe if needed. If you are a beginner, or if you are familiar with iOS music production, either way you should not miss out on this. Tons of fun!!

So much fun!. This is great! It’s a lot of fun to sit down and loose yourself in this. It’s rebirth 2019 style. I can’t wait till Au3 comes out! The one thing I feel is missing is midi out. It would be great to dump the midi notes out along with the audio clips.

Completely in love right now. Had just an amazing 2 hours ripping through this and will pop it into Cubasis 3 soon to get in even more trouble. My only request is for this to be ported over to the desktop so I can run it natively in Logic Pro! By far one of the most well executed AUv3s I’ve ever seen and I’ve been making music on iOS since 2012.

The acid is pure and clean. I almost want to yak this sounds so good. whoever made this is a genius and understands techno like seriously. I’m planning on midi mapping my tb 03 with this for fun times but this sounds better than rolands tb 03 not to be confused with tb 303 analog real one.

Absolutely fantastic!. Super happy with this app. Making grooves with this app is a breeze and incredible fun. Little TechnoBox of Joy. Well done Dmitrij! For a v1 this is fantastic. My only minor requests would be to allow all the FX on both FX A and B. Maybe a few more drum kits? As a fan of Groove Rider this was an instabuy.

Fun app for parties and Djing. The sequencer is top notch and should be included on every app, plugin, hardware sequencer ever made. I love how the drums can be tuned. This is the kind of app that I just love to play with because its fairly simple and has some really cool features (as mentioned above, plus really cool FX). Id definitely use it for Djing and I love to throw it on while partying. Friends love it too, even non-musician friends want it. I throw it on during work outs too lol.

Fantastic TB-303 Suite. I remember back in 1996 (or 1997?) being blown away by a new program called Rebirth 338 by Propellerhead. I could not believe how a piece of software could capture so well the vibe of real analog gear. Well Pure Acid just gave me that same feeling! Kudos to the developer!! Pure Acid is the best TB-303 emulator on IOS! It comes with classic drum sounds, killer effects, authentic sound and 303 sequencer mayhem! It is simply the complete package to cover almost all your Acid base-line needs. Pure Acid is also so much easier to program and allows for the easy generation of new riffs. Works with Ableton sync and IAA. Works on IPad and IPhone. AU3 is the only other wish list item that is needed. Just download it already.

Flashbacks?. Was hoping Pure Acid was going to be just the first of more to come. Always plays well with others. Connect Pure Acid with Riffler, seriously doubt you'll be disappointed.

HORRIBLY crappy app logo and icon on an app that is otherwise generally likable. So f’ing tired of that retardly crappy app icon and logo. Would be SOOOOOOOOOOO easy for the software engineer making the app to remove that from the GUI and also easy these days to make an alternative icon option in the app prefs. (Suggest a normal smiley face without any “edginess” as most ravers (absolutely the main potential customers) aren’t “edgy” in that way unless they had family issues that need to be addressed through a healing process or need to go to rehab). If the app maker foolishly believes an “edgy” icon will attract some “edgy” younger customers, he is SEVERELY naive and obviously hasn’t heard that mumble rap is the “edgy” music choice of the face tattooed “edgy” younger customers that prefer to pirate apps anyway. This app doesn’t make 808 bass melodies, so is also relatively useless for that genre.

My favorite app. It’s great on its own but I like to use the sequencer in AUM to program other synths.

Good App. Good app.

Great test area for baselines and drumbeats. Intuitive way to get a song or groove started. I get confused by a lot of these apps easily but this one makes so much sense. I’ll write in it and then midi out to the synth and patch that works best. Tiny complaint that it doesn’t support the Mininova (yet), but still an almost perfect app.

Best 303 on the iOS App Store. I’ve never owned a real TB 303, but I did have a Behringer TD-3 which I did side by side comparisons with, and when I was done I sold the TD-3. In my opinion the oscillator sounds, the filter response, the envelope and the accent are all spot-on. The LFO and distortion are nice bonuses. The sequencer is great. The drum machine sounds terrific and the step sequencer is easy enough to program. It all works great as an AUv3 plugin, including multi-output for more complex setups. A first-rate 303 synthesizer with enough functionality to be a fun acid groovebox that will plug into your DAW. If this isn’t in your collection you are missing out!

Dope App. I can’t tell you the last time I had this much fun using an IOS app. I no longer use IOS music making apps in my set up but this is tactile enough to work its way into my live set up. Well done.

Awesome, but please allow for Mac M1. Jim, I love this app. I recently bought a Mac Studio and was disappointed to see that none of your app’s apart from Poison run on M1/2. Please allow these to run natively considering the chipset is the same now. Much love and hope all is ok in the Ukraine.

Just wow. Great little sketchpad. I find myself starting tracks on this and then transcribing them to my tr8 and 303 shortly after. Won't be surprised if I do a whole track just in the app!

Screen issues. Love the app ! Can you please adjust your app so it will fit properly apple new iPads , on my new iPad mini app is loading with black borders on the sides. Would love to see true full screen on all current iPads please. Love all your apps.

Like Rebirth Plus Plus Plus. Great sounding virtual analog models faithful to the classic Roland 303 and drum machines we all know and love. Some Bonus Effects pedals, a devilfish distortion style mod on the 303 and a cleanly transparent master limiter. Techno Time! Слава Україні!

Another masterpiece. So much fun with incredible sounds and ways to tweak. I can spend hours creating stuff. It's easy once you get used to the intuitive interface. It took me about an hour to know how to do everything. And it's fun learning because you are surprised at how much you can change things. This guy is a great developer. He only makes great apps, no crap allowed. And the apps are solid. Bugs are rare.

Face Melting. Pure Acid is the best ACID APP HANDS DOWN! I have them all and it blows the others to pieces. It’s BASS SYNTH is so grimy and a proper revamping of the 303. It’s SEQUENCER is built for acid but can be used to sequence any synth you send to it ( I especially love it for slap bass). As an added bonus you get DRUMS, FX, and a sweet mixer section. Pure acid plays so nicely with other auv3’s you don’t even have to use it for anything traditionally acid, throwing LFOs on any parameters gives you experimental bliss. It’s just one of those apps that feel like you got more than what you paid for!

A good start. Nice sound. Looking forward to AU and AU automation. Better yet would be internal automation.

Powerful, Beautiful, Fun. Accurate sound; comparing some of the many factory presets with their original 303 parts was surprising in the best way. The added 808 drum kit is awesome, too. But the sequencer? Vastly improved when compared to the 303. The sequencing screen that elegantly displays your pattern and offers new tweaks like reversing the pattern, all while staying faithful to the classic input controls—it means I’ve had more fun sequencing in this app than I’ve had on most others.
