THE compass to use. This is a functional app that also looks great on your watch. It does so much more than the basic Apple compass. And the price is for purchase, not a subscription. There’s nothing not to like.

Works as stated on Apple Watch 3. After reading and understanding why it requires the Gyro function, it calibrates and works well! Can’t see the sun or moon? Just use your phone to calibrate (or a real compass) Yes, movement gets it “off” but unless one REALLY needs a compass frequently, I couldn’t justify $200 more for watch 5

Compass Not Abalable. Downloaded to New Apple Watch Series 4 but it says “Compass Not Available”. Disappointed, looks like a compass but does not work 👎

Nice graphics but works best on watch with compass. My first app that installs directly through the watch without the phone. A little learning curve. ... Now really happy with the program except my watch lacks internal compass so I’m stuck depending on the gyro. I do believe that it may yet be of use on walks once it’s calibrated. The graphics are smooth and brilliant. I may have to update my watch 😀😂

Useless. I feel really ripped off by this company and this application. If a person digs deep enough you can find the statement at the App Store that says, in essence, it doesn’t work with an Apple Watch 4. One can point the watch in a known direction, and then use the watch bezel to dial in that direction. Then the Compass will function. Right up until such time as you touch the bezel again, in a place where you don’t know what’s what, have no idea what direction is what. And then you’re screwed. If your life depends on this Compass, you will probably die.

Won’t download. I followed all directions, including the helpful hint, restarted the watch and the app won’t show on my watch. Zero stars.

Pro Compass. Hi I bought the app worked well. Then disconnected my watch and reconnect Show as installed in the store but not visible in my Watch Please advice

Can’t be download again from phone!. I had to unpair my watch. This app didn’t reinstall! Go to app store on iPhone to download and reinstall and it says purchased. Must be downloaded from your watch. Not intuitive at all.

Nice app. Nice, works great. Inexpensive and no subscription. I got the bundle for my watch and wish I had it gotten for my phone also.

problem remains. I understand the Developer believes the Location Permissions is an ios issue, however this is the ONLY app in 10 years that does this. It is a characteristic of only this app. After a month of not changing ANY location permissions, this app is unallowed again. Am I the only person having this problem ??? works great when it works, however it continues to have a long standing problem of forgetting its location permissions. you go to use it, and it doesn’t know the location any more. just says “waiting for location”. you have to reallow it use your position, and know how to do that. can’t be done on watch, must be done on phone. the frustration of going to use it, just to find out it’s got amnesia again renders it useless. would be great if this were fixed. it is the only app I use that does this.

Very cool, when you grok it.. Running successfully on Watch Series2. This is a gyrocompass. Each time you use it, you first initialize it to a reference direction. Then it uses the gyroscope capabilities of the watch to maintain that reference. Works for me well on hikes and on the bike. Bubble levels do their thing just fine, too, and add to accuracy when you respect them for a directional reading. Note that you load this software directly on watch using App Store watch app, not your phone. Read what developer is saying, I didn’t get it the first time. Worth a bit of focus.

It could be useful. It doesn’t seem to be using the watch gps and there’s no calibration option. You basically try to find one of the 4 directions and spin the crown until you set this direction as close as you think it’s right. I guess it could be helpful if you get lost and you have nothing but the watch and you trying to move in a straight. It be nice to have a lock button so that after you set the compass, it disables/lock the crown button so you don’t accidentally spin it.

Crashes. Have the latest iWatch with cellular... app crashes. Contacted app support, they were quick to answer/unaware of any issue(s). I've power cycled watch/deleted and reinstalled -- no go. I'm looking forward to a fix.

Do not waste your money. This app is garbage. I just wanted a compass. This has to be set manually every time you use it. I have a Iwatch 4 and this is totally useless. The YouTube videos don’t explain a thing either. Wasted .99. If i could give it negative stars I would.

Great App - Best Compass ever!. The app is fantastic- the problem I was having was user error (on my part). When you actually read the instructions (which are well written and easy to follow) this app becomes the best Compass you’ll ever have. Well worth the cost. I highly recommend this.

Bubbles move backwards. Beautiful graphics but the bubbles move backwards. Possibly because I wear the watch on my right wrist with the crown closest to my elbow?

This app is one of the most useless one in watch while one of the best in iphone !!??. compass on watch when doesn’t work is ridiculous!!!!when it’s mentioned in setting that “compass not available “ !!!??? and the direction string rotating with side scroller!!?? Same problems I got with theodolite app, while these are some of the best I have in my iphone and /or ipad. If I’m wrong please correct me Thanks
