Fun, but lacking in co-op player enjoyment. Ill start off with the good; this game has amazing challenging levels and a well-thought out pace. The levels feel new and exciting, although it is annoying to have to do the same easy levels all over again when I die at 60. Now, for the improvements I would suggest: Make levels that are optimized for multiplayer! - i feel like we and my friend get bored easily because we just run to the next door quickly and its too easy with 2-3 people, lets not even talk about 4. Some levels where player 1 has to hold down a switch for the other, while player 2 has to do something would give this game more life. Add more interactive gameplay between friends! -I would love if we could pick up each other and throw each other, bounce on each other’s heads, etc. (Yes, everybody knows what this game is trying to be... I say that the developers should fully embrace that.) I’m not sure if the certain game Im thinking of has patented any concepts, which i would understand would prevent you guys from doing this. Stronger enemies! (Please) Right now, this game only has squares that run at you(they don’t even jump), birds that fall in a straight line, owls that fly, etc. It would be nice if this game was made for a different audience, with harder challenges and more grace to not restart from the beginning.

Pl fix the Game Center thing but great game. Ok so this game is SUPER I really do mean super FUN but one problem there is a dumb rule you made for WiFi join well I was going to play this with my parents but it said restricted and I’m bellow 20 and 15 yes I know but it was dumb because now I can’t play with my parents and I really wanted to so can you PL Change that so I can play this super fun game with my parents (ps you did not have to put in restrictions because you can only play with the friends you added and you can enable wifi join on your actual account and turn off) if you can thank you 😊

Better than the original. I liked playing the original Crossy Road and my daughter and I had a competition going on who could get the highest score (her by far). This new version I find even more fun. The challenge of figuring out each level is usually not too difficult although a few can be a little tough. I love how ever 10 levels you have an opportunity to heal. I wish you could get additional hearts if you are already at max health. And it would be nice if you could start over from higher levels as it can be tedious going through lower levels. But overall it’s a great little time waster

Fun game... but needs improvements. This game is really fun. Really better than Crossy road. But why is it every time when I’m playing multiplayer there is always a issue? Like you’ve been disconnected, or it takes forever to switch to the other side of the door (takes about 10-15 seconds), and even more! And another thing... why does the whole pause screen have to appear on mind and the others screen if someone taps pause? Sometimes it literally makes me die! That person who wants to pause, that pause screen should appear on their end. Not the others! So that the others can finish that level/room number. And also the enemies are getting a bit boring. And there are birds everywhere to the point where it gets boring like I said before. There should be other animals... like a dog, anything other than a bird and that’s little car creatures. There’s a lot of ways you can improve the app.

I totally recommend getting this game. In The Og Crossy road I lost interest really quick but not this game. No this game will keep you occupied for hours on end. Now that being said I do have few suggestions to make this game even more fun. First of all u should make more characters and towers. Second I don’t really enjoy having to collect and pay 100 tickets just to get 1 character. Third thing the hearts ♥️♥️♥️. It really gets on my nerves when u are like on level 59 and u have one heart then you make some stupid mistake and u die then u have to start all over again. 🙄🙄🙄 Mabey you could make it when u defeat a boss u get like check point then if u die u just respon back then if u die again at let’s say level 42 then u stats back over again. Idk just some suggestions. But over all love this game you will not be disappointed if u decided to get it.😊😊😊

Best platformer for iOS, but there are online bugs still. I come from a heavy background of SMB, so I eventually decided to try this out since it originally seemed to be exactly like Super Mario except with miniature levels. This is so much more, but with the same rush. Each level allows you to take your time and plan, or go right for it. My favorite part definitely is the online multiplayer since it is nice to show newer players around. This is how I learned where the gem rooms are. I love the weekly speedrunning challenge (to get the best time). It genuinely is a fun and challenging game and I'm glad that HipsterWhale has put this much effort. Although, I still sometimes experience online multiplayer issues: sometimes everyone will go through the door and the game isn't able to recognize that everyone is through even though they are, so it just stays there and people end up leaving. Nice game to just set goals and go fast. Just try it with an open mind and you may love it. I originally just looked at it as a cheap SMB remake, but the developers have continued their CR style and added very unique elements that are very original. Thanks HipsterWhale! ☕️🐳

Breathes new life into Apple Arcade. There hasn’t been anything substantial added to the service in months, but Crossy Road Castle feels like a significant release. The level of polish here is astounding, and developer Hipster Whale proves once again that they can condense a game genre (2D platformer, in this case) down to its very essence, and create a simplified showcase of everything gamers love about it into one beautiful package. The learning curve is done excellently, and introduces players to new gameplay mechanics in a gentle and measured way, so that the player never feels overwhelmed by new enemy types or obstacles. The only downside is that since the game released with just one “castle” (which is just a series of curated levels) you’ll end up playing the same levels again and again when you start a new run. The boss fights do not change either as of now, so you’ll be stuck fighting the same eagle boss until the game receives further updates. All in all, the foundation for this game is incredibly solid. It looks great, controls great, and even little things like the in-game menus are crafted with care. I have no doubt this will be another hit for the studio, and it definitely gives Apple Arcade users another reason to keep their subscription renewed.

It is great but 1 thing. So I got to hand it to this game it is awesome I can spend hours playing it. It is not to hard and to easy and over all it is a great game. There is only 1 problem and that when you want to get out of the app. So on older phones there is a home button that you can press to get out of a app. But on a newer phone (the x and the 11) you have to slide to get out of a app. But when you slide up in this game it makes you jump. Even if it is at the bottom. This makes it difficult to leave to app. If course you can puss the game and then swipe out but it still doesn’t work the best and I often have to try more then once. So I would definitely tell you try it out but be ready to be annoyed

So much fun to play!. This whole game is a cool twist on Crossy Road! instead of walking across a street, you climb up a tower with floors that get harder every time. There are enemies, challenges, and even bosses! If you want a cool game to play with friends, family, or just random people on the internet, this is what you’re looking for! The game has customizable controls, and you can also play with controllers! My only complaint is that it is very hard to get new characters for the game, because the lack of tokens the game gives you. There could be another way to get those coins, but I don’t know how. Overall, it is a great game! If you need a good reason to get this game, there are many. And if you get it, you’ll see the game doesn’t disappoint!

Stuff that needs fixing.. I absolutely love this game with all of its challenging levels and mechanics, but there are a few things that I’d like you to fix. 1. I miss the old dying fart noise. The original one was good enough and the new one is ugly. 2. During a boss battle, I’ve been having a lot of trouble with dying at the third round. You have to start over at the beginning of the battle and I hate fighting to get to the third round again. Please make it to where if you die on a certain round of the boss battle, you resume on that round. Battling a giant robot eagle on the third round and a spike ball just NICKS the car and I have to start over? Not fair! Otherwise, I really like your game and the castles and creatures are awesome. My favorite is the Lost Temple. Lava is one of my passions. P. S. Plz add dragon and dragon castle why are all the bosses birds :)

Great Game, but this new update…. I played for a while now and I was hoping that they would add a new castle sooner or later. And one morning I hopped on and noticed the new castle update. I played it for a bit, then I realized that the boss is easy, but extremely frustrating. The boss throws obstacles at you, which you must avoid, but when it comes to “attack”, it is so annoying. He throws an obstacle that must be jumped over, so I jump, but it is really hard to time the jump, if you wait too long or if you are too early, dead. Now if the boss was to be attacked somehow else, this would have been my favorite castle.

My favorite Arcade game ever!. I absolutely love this game; I love the little details in each level, and the level variations allow for each play-through to feel unique. I also love the adorable character customizations and secret levels. I also love that it’s in portrait mode, which sets it apart from other games! My biggest let down is the multiplayer feature, due to the incessant connectivity issues. I’m the most competitive when I’m playing with friends I know! My suggestion is to allow each player to play at their own pace (including play/pause, deaths, and enemies) without affecting the other players’ experience, and maybe regrouping every 10th level instead of every level? Whatever the fix may be, it seems to be a popular complaint regardless so please prioritize this feature!!

Good game! Just one update idea!. I had this game for a couple days and I already LOVE IT! I love all the castles! And the boss fights are creative! My favorite boss of the game is the Game Show Penguin boss from Snowpeak Palace! I especially like the stickers. And the music. The music hits. I just have an update idea! What if, you could make your own Crossy Castle floors!? You can change the floor theme, place enemies, and put different types of blocks! And you can save it and hit a button that can make the floor load randomly in the Castle the floors theme matches! You can even share it online! And if you look at the floors other people made online, you can load these floors in the floor Castle theme! If you did that, this would be THE best game ever. So can you work on that Hipster Whale, because not just me, but everyone would absolutely love that!

This is the best game there is a lot of fun characters and hats and towers. So I play Crossy road castle a lot and I get everything on here and the astronaut just not the mystery figures but I got a key for the next tower and 400 tokens for the next update plus the coins and I love the game and I love all my characters my most favorite is space dog and astronaut but anyways I always play with players and today I just unlocked the astronaut cause there was a room with a bird and I was in player mode and a person was playing around with the button that the bird was Lasered and I had to play by myself this time and I got the 4th gem then the third try the bird died again and in the third try I knew how to do it now and I did it and I got everything but not the prince the school girl the vampire or the gnome and thank you for making the game in Apple Arcade someday a lot of people will love it

Good fun, but a problem.... This is a truly great game, I would recommend it, but read this first. I couldn’t put it down at first, truly lots of love to the creators and give it some love. Anyway, to the point. I found out there was a multiplayer mode. I try it, and can you guess what happened. If you guessed that it didn’t work then you’re right! It said that my age was just not good enough to play multiplayer. Now, if I didn’t understand why then I would have given the rating a three. Here’s why the multiplayer mode doesn’t work with lots of ages, it’s simple really, because of the new standards you have to be a certain age before you can play online. Even if there’s no chat box. Too long too get to hard levels. I always start playing this with my brother and dad thinking I’m gonna have a lot fun so I start it up, it takes 10 minutes to get us all in the same party. We get in our favorite tower do the first 100 levels and that takes half an hour, now we’re at the point where we’re trying and then die 15 levels later. So we spent roughly 45 minutes to get to the good part and die off rip. Now we’re all mad and feeling like we wasted all our time on the weekend. For me to get back into this game, you need to something where you can use coins or tokens to buy levels that you already did and make it easier to connect devices. I hope that you’ll fix these things to help your players.

Online!?!. This game is great accept that you can’t play multiplayer. I mean you can, but only if you are above the age limit. Come on, you make a game that appeals to kids, and kids can’t even play together. Really. What kid is going to play with someone (with the same WiFi mind you) and be in danger. Let’s say that their parent does drive them somewhere that has free WiFi and they try to play with someone. Who’s going to be playing this game at that exact coffee shop and just waiting for someone to join, and WHY would the kid be in danger?!?!? Edit: I read some other reviews and I realized that it’s apple’s policy (I still don’t like it) and that a ageless multiplayer will be coming soon. ^o^ yay

Plz read :D. I LOVE this game, i play it for what feels like hours! This game is soooo well made and a lot of fun to play not only by yourself but with friends as well. As u might see by the example videos, the game uses simple controls that r easy to use, it has a nice in-control feel to it. And i love the concept of the game (basically, u try to survive the many set backs and challenges the game gives to to reach a door that leads to the next level or floor, collecting coins-to get hearts and accessories-along the way) i love all the character’s u get to choose from and cute animations the game has, seriously, really well made. Another thing I appreciate with Apple Arcade in general is the fact that there r no adds and the individual games don’t ask u to bye things like coins or gems depending upon the game. I think the membership to Apple Arcade was a great deal and i would recommend to other people. I don’t think i have any negative feedback, this game is just one of my favorites and i think u should definitely consider getting this game if u haven’t all ready.

Addictive, Fun, but Ableist. I’ve been playing this game almost obsessively now, love the graphics, the music, the gameplay, etc, and Candy Cafe has become my new favorite castle. However, in the boss level of Candy Cafe, if you play as the purple cat, you have to compete with an ugly, disabled version of your character that you can easily paralyze (temporarily) and steal all the balls. The more I played it, the more I began to question it. Don’t get me wrong, I love the ball collecting concept, but the uglier, slower alter ego rubs me the wrong way, and dampens my ability to truly enjoy the game. It could easily be a great game without that character.

Great but one problem.... Hi! I’ve been playing “ Crossy castle” awhile now. It’s pretty amazing But I’d say that how do I put this nicely well it’s pretty boring and hard. So each day I go and I try to get a higher jump but it’s Super hard to jump really high. I also think you should change the age limit cuz you can play online and this game should be like 9+ or 10+ idk but it definitely shouldn’t be for ages 4+ cuz what if your just Playing and a stranger just says “ hey come to my house and then you go and he hurts you or anything else. All I’m saying is plz change the age limit. I don’t think this is age 4 years appropriate. And also plz make this easier! But other than that it’s pretty Epic I should say! I rlly enjoy playing! Great game for a single player or for the whole family. My family loves this game because it is a fun single player, old school-style platformer like Super Mario Bros. It’s fun to play with touch controls, but even better with a controller. The levels offer a good mix of challenges and rewards, and different character options and hats that you can unlock by collecting coins and tokens add a silly element of fun to the game. As fun as single player mode is, it’s even more fun to play with friends. Unlike a lot of games on Apple Arcade, this game can be played both in local multiplayer mode with extra controllers (we use Xbox One controllers), or with Game Center through the internet. We’ve even brought our kids’ grandparents into the fun to play with us, which is a great way to stay connected during the Covid-19 era. A final thing to note is that because the multiplayer mode is cooperative play, where you advance to the next level as long as at least one person makes it through the level, you can enjoy this game with players of varying levels of skill. That means that a grandparent or young child can still keep playing and the group is having fun.

Fun game but..... My girlfriend and I love this game we play on our down time but I wanna say the servers are kind of laggy sometimes it takes a while to transfer to the next stage or one of us will be in the menu waiting to join the server it will say that we are In their game then it just disconnect it’s a 5 star game no doubt but I can’t give 5 because of the connection issues and when we try to scan the WiFi and play like that it doesn’t even work for us. This game is mad fun just wish the servers would act right so we can enjoy it fully together and not quit when we get to lvl 70 or something because of terrible lag. Not to mention I’m paying to play this 🤣🤣 could at least have them servers right😉🤝.

Bugs. There is an issue where there’s people that are try hards and you join up with people on multiplayer and the quit the game if they see you have an old character or a noob character because They think you’re not good as soon as you mess up or die once people will quit the game. There is a bug that makes the game freeze as soon as you start a match and have to close the game. Wish people were more nice on here good thing there isn’t a chat system. It’s fun when your Not taking it serious and wanting to a fun time. I have gotten to level 100 with a random person sometimes you get lucky meeting some good people that won’t quit the game on you and give you a chance.

I love Crossy castle but…. I love Crossy castle it’s one of my fav games and I love seeing all the characters I know and love from Crossy road and or Crossy road plus But I have a complaint, so I unlocked every tower so I would love to see some more towers and I think a cool feature would be if u could kinda chat text with the people u play with on the multiplayer and if u could friend the people u play with. I also want to have more achievements with the stickers and the Game Center and some more characters would be nice but overall I think this is game is one of the reasons u should consider getting Apple Arcade.

Awesome game but matching making is lacking. The title summed it up perfectly. This game is fun engaging and before I know it I’m spending hours of my time hoping and climbing. It’s especially fun when you’re playing with multiple people. Me and my wife play the Wi-Fi co op mood and it works fine however if you’re solo looking for a quick game to jump in the experience is subpar at best. It takes forever actually ting a match, and when it’s found it times out, when you finally get into a game your next hurdles are spotty connections and dropped games. I do have to say that besides that portion of the game overall it still pretty well made and fun. It’s just that the co op experience is more of a deal breaker for like of a better term for me.

Love it but has its issues!. Love this game and have been playing with my two kids since it came out! Trying to get those green doors in every castle. But hate when I connect to play multiplayer with someone online. Have been trying to get a green door for months when I finally got to the level I wanted with the green door and died trying to get it and my partner just went on to the next round. I know this is a kids game so hence the no chat. But I wish there was at least a picture chat. Where I can touch the picture of a green door or something so I can tell the other person hey I need this green door can you help me. Or something so I can communicate with the other person I’m playing with.

Very fun game but major issues with multiplayer. This game is super fun and well designed. The kind of game you can jump into and enjoy for a few minutes and then set down easily after a game or two. The big issue is with multiplayer. When it works, it’s extremely fun and has made me laugh to the point of being in tears. But it glitches out more often than it works. You’ll wait a couple minutes to find people to play with, just to be disconnected once you start playing. It freezes up and struggles to move you from room to room together. The worst is when you make it super far with someone, just to glitch out before you can actually finish your game together. This would easily be a 5 star game if the multiplayer mode actually functioned consistently.

Amazing game besides the stickers. This game is amazing and I love to play it and get all the secrets and unlock new towers. I’m a completionist basically, for this game it’s simple enough, just get the coins and tokens to get hats and characters and then the gems for the secret one. But then there’s the sticker book characters that require you to get every sticker and… we’ll some of them are a bit interesting. Like the multiplayer sticker from the second tower that makes all 4 players wear a certain hat. It’s impossible to do pretty much cause you can’t communicate to other players so they’ll start the game since they don’t know what I’m trying to do. If there was a way to fix that by possibly adding a chat feature then 10/10 game right there.

Fix this glitch if it’s the game, besides this it’s good!. So I got a brand new iPad (10th gen) and I got three months free of Apple Arcade, ok nice, I accept it and I browse the games, I see Crossy road castle, it looked cool, downloaded, awesome! Super fun, gets harder and harder and harder and harder until impossible and I don’t have enough keys for another tower soooo yeah, so the one problem is, If I play the game and move my iPad into portrait mode it freezes, whole iPad freezes, and let me remind you, THIS IPAD IS BRAND STINKING NEW ITS ONLY A MONTH OLD! To fix it I gotta turn my iPad off, and music will play, then stop, then fixed, but today it happened, I turned my iPad off, but then for 2 minutes it had glitchy music, and just sat there, turning on wasn’t a option it wouldn’t work, finally it fixes, but now I’m scared of this game, goodbye! I’m never Touching this game again!

Apple Arcade still fails to disappoint. So I’m going to admit, I didn’t like the original crossy road , it felt like I was being begged to pay the developers, I also haven’t had the best experience with Apple Arcade, many games were disappointing and only had minutes of content. nevertheless I tried this game. I did not know what a masterpiece of a game that I was buying. I love the difficulty, I love the music, I love how it’s a 2d platformer, I love the art style, I love everything about this game! It’s smart how each 10 levels is like a group all with the same theme and I really like how you can regenerate lives every 10 stages the bosses are fun and engaging, and not to mention the gems in the secret rooms! The gems really make me feel like I have a goal in this game. The best part about this game is how for the first 30 levels you can only get some levels, but the farther you go the cooler and more engaging the levels are! It should be a crime not to have this game! 5/5

Love it, but needs a couple small bug fixes. This game is sooooo fun I am always playing it, but there is a bug that I noticed where the character you choose appears as a different character on somebody else’s screen. I noticed this because when I was playing with my sister, my character was the witch, but on her screen it appeared as a cat or a horse. I feel like this happens a lot because if I am doing a quick match with random players I am often with a horse or cat. Another glitch is that sometimes a room doesn’t change to the next room right after everyone goes in to the door; it just shows the screen with the door open but the room not changing. I love this game, it’s so fun, but it would be even better without these bugs. Thank you.

Addictive and frustrating. It’s a testament to the fun and addictive nature of this game that I can’t stop playing even though I feel like throwing my iPad thru a wall in anger after every game. I’ve played thousands of levels, am almost always maxed out on coins, and bought every hat and character available. But I CANNOT GET THAT 5th GEM. Hundreds of games, thousands of levels, and how many times have I even gotten a chance to get that final gem? TWICE. Jeez, Hipster Whale. There’s no freaking reason for a gem room to have a less than 1 in 1000 chance to appear in any single game. I want to enjoy this game, not feel like a glutton for punishment.

Crossy Road Is Fun!. I love playing Crossy road all of the time! It is addictive and educational. I love all of the cute hats and characters you can collect! You absolutely need to make more castles to play in. The stickers on iMessage are super cute and I just love it all! I really don’t think it needs improvements. In the space castle it is way to challenging to get into secret doors. If you can make it easier to make it there then thank you. I’ve been playing this for years and I am just super impressed with the game. I literally almost beat the game by getting all of the gems from every castle so yeah I’ve been playing it for a while. I think that the next castle should be a party themed castle! This is the best game in the UNIVERSE! THANK YOU SO SO SOOOO MUCH CROSSY ROAD DEVELOPERS! U r da best!

The gameplay is amazing, but the stickers are not good. This game is my favorite game so you should download it. But lately I’ve just wanted to say one thing with the sticker update, and it has to do with the multiplayer stickers. They seem really easy to get, but because you can’t communicate to the other players, they’ll start the game without being able to get the sticker. So I think it’d be cool to have some sort of way to communicate, or show what sticker someone wants to get at the top of the screen. It would also help if the game didn’t start right when one person hits start. Sometimes I’d want to change a character or hat to get a sticker, but then right before I can do that someone hits start. So if there are some minor changes, it would make the game way better. This is just an idea, but it would also be cool if there was a game mode where every level would change from tower to tower. It’s hard to explain but it’s like where a level can be a random level from any of the towers. It would make it unexpected of what would come next. That is it, I love this game, and yeah

AMAZING GAME…but two suggestions. Crossy Road Castle is simply magnificent. The visuals are great, the difficult is perfect, and the characters and hats are both awesome. And it becomes 50 times better with friends involved. The one thing that I think could change though is the high token price. Tokens are hidden around the levels and if you get 100 of them, you can consult a machine to give you a random new character. 100 tokens is too high a price, it should be lowered to 50 tokens or at least 35. Plus, playing with strangers is a joke, since it always says that you can’t connect even when your wifi is working perfectly. Other than that, this is essentially a perfect game, and I haven’t found a single glitch. Thanks a lot, Hipster Whale!!!

Would be perfect but that 5th gem🥵. I absolutely love this game! It’s super entertaining and is way better than the first version. I love the fact that you can buy new lives every ten levels! It makes for a much more enjoyable gameplay! It would be five stars no question but that fifth gem is absolutely impossible! The problem is that I’ve only had access to the door for the fifth gem once. I’ve gotten every other gem at least 40 times and have played endlessly and still can’t seem to have the room reappear. It’s beyond frustrating as I’ve unlocked every character except the secret one from the gems and I’ve worked super hard but the algorithm won’t let that door appear for me 😓

I hope you guys can get to this review!. This game is amazing. The mechanics are high performing and I love the wacky and silly graphics soooo much😄😄. The way the game works is great and the challenge events are actually VERY hard (btw I’m in 9th place for jingle jump). The rainbow rift is so much fun, but I just have one small complaint. The thing is , after I found all 5 rainbow cubes, I could only play in the 5 towers that I found them in. These were: Unihorse Castle, The Great Treehouse, SP 115, Snowpeak Palace, and Windup Workshop. I kinda want a feature for this game where you can select five different towers, and those are the ones that will get mashed up in the Rift. What I’m thinking for the Rainbow Rift to be is like a magic simulator, where you input your five towers, and then play in the mashed up version of them. What I would also like to see is a level creator. You would be able to place blocks and make a certain amount of levels for the player to complete (no higher then 200, no less than 10), and if you want to publish it you would have to beat it yourself. Great game, but I found a bug. So the bug was that's if you are in a multiplayer server you turn off your iPhone/whatever you are playing on and come back to this game everything would be frozen after a few seconds it would return back to normal... well sort of the animations are endless and it's pretty much unbeatable then. Other than about two unfair things (that I will not be able to list) it's a pretty great game I love the platformer style and different objects for different castles. Overall it's a great game, five stars

One of the best games on the App Store (in my opinion). This is the first time I’ve spent hours at a time playing a phone game that isn’t because I’m stuck in a waiting room or similar situations like that. I play it because I want to. It’s really fun and addicting. It doesn’t feel like a slog to grind and unlock stuff. The touch controls feel very natural and I don’t have to look or pay attention to see if I’m touching away from the buttons to move (if that makes sense). All of the castles are fun and unique in play style and all of the characters and hats are very cute. It’s challenging in a good way and it feels awesome to see yourself get better and better at running a castle. I keep having a great time playing it and I can’t wait to see what’s new to come!

Good game but could be better. This game is probably my favorite arcade game , but I do have a couple complaint. First I have unlocked all of the possible hats and characters and I would really like to see more of those. Also since it’s Christmas time I think it would be cool to add some limited edition Christmas characters also it would be cool if you added a Christmas land and add a under the ocean land. Next when I’m playing with friends and if we leave just to text someone it dis connects you from the game it’s some times frustrating. Lastly I would love too see if y’all added characters from Crossy road This game overall is very fun but I would love to see those changes but I personally think this game is way better than the original crossey road because you can play with friends and I love when you get further in the levels that it gets fun and challenging so thank you for this amazing game but I would really appreciate if you can fix some of my problems and complaints. Oh and I came up wi the more ideas I would absolutely love to see if there was a way you can make your own crossy castle levels you could make labels lands and you can be able to challenge your friends to see if they can play it and last but not least I have noticed some bugs if you can fix that to this would probably be my favorite game I have. 🤩. I really love this game, I like the arcade style in general and it’s a cool game that you can play anytime with your friends. I have had a few bugs, for example it will sometimes freeze or in a multiplayer match kick me out, nonetheless I still really like it. I would appreciate having a few more updates, and maybe like a weekly/monthly character for a limited edition. Another great thing to add would be to add an option so that you can construct your own levels in a kind of ‘build mode’. I know that would probably be difficult, but maybe you’ll consider it. :) Thank you so much for reading this! :)

So so so so so much fun!!!!. This is a very very good game, and worth the wait. The playability is so much fun, and the music is amazing. This game is so much fun, and the healing system is completely fair. Every 10 rooms, you can turn in 100 coins for a heart. The rooms are a very good element of this game. The fact that although it still is endless, it doesn’t feel like those ones that just go on and on. For an endless game, it is really good because instead of just hopping around, and that will get boring, is actually doing true platformers, not just the “you keep running “ Type is a rare gem. Although the tokens (purple coins with t) are hard to get, and you have to spend 100 of them to get a prize might be the main bad thing about this. However, this balanced the fact that there aren’t too many prizes, so I understand. And if the multiplayer isn’t working, check you’re Game Center settings to see if you’re signed in and allowed other people on the same WiFi network to invite you to their game. To sum it up, this is definitely one of the strong games with Apple Arcade, and if you had it you should get it. UPDATE FOR THE UPDATE: This new tower is so amazing, and I really like it! I’m also happy for online multiplayer 🥳!

It keeps getting better!. The gameplay is amazing it never gets tired how many times you play it, the characters look excellent and the hats are a really fun addition. my only problem was that there was no online, only local wifi, but with the new update my only problem is fixed! the second tower took 3 months to come out, that’s a long time but it also gave me time to get all the animals, hats, and gems in the first tower, but it took me 2 months to do that, and i had to wait a month to get a new tower. in summary the whole game is excellent the only problem is the time updates come out, but Hipster Whale is updating Crossy Road and Crosy Castle so its understandable. I value quality over quantity.

Amazing Game!. This game is extremely fun and addictive. The characters are so well designed and the levels are always a fun puzzle to solve! Aside from the enjoyment factor, sometimes when multiple people are playing together the game disconnects the players. After this you have to start all over and have the same fear of being disconnected again. This has improved over time from different towers, but certain ones like the construction tower disconnect you more. I do appreciate that the game has become less glitchy over time, and I look forward to more towers in the future! Overall I recommend Crossy Road Castle to everyone looking for a fun, not-too-challenging game.

Great game but super hard. I love this game just there’s one kink in it is one of the levels is in-possibly it is so hard it’s in the lost temple. There’s a bunch of waves going up and down and up and down and you gotta land right and then go to the next post and then do it again all of my feedback I just need you guys to slow down the wave one it is so hard me and my grandpa have tried so much it’s ridiculous so please listen to my Feedback and do a a little work on it. It’s a great game though everyone I highly recommend it please play it. There’s just one kink that’s it.

No Delete. This game is amazing and it gives you that challenge most are looking for and I also love that it is not one of those games were the characters move by there self and you only get to choose the way they go/if you need a small break you can stop the character you are playing with. Although like all the other reviews it does have its flaws like yes, it doesn’t seem to let you have more that one character or player play and yes , it’s a little glitchy so what I am saying is it is not fantastic saying for the issues but it’s fun saying for the game!

Multiplayer mode and castle bosses. Multiplayer mode is great except it always tells you unable to connect to host and not the actual problem. Maybeeeee fix that issue. and I feel a little underwhelmed about the bosses,I get it’s a simple platformer game but I think it should be that every time you face boss their mood changes and appearance (bruises, band aids ) from your previous encounters with them and they get harder and harder every time your awarded 30 Tokens for beating the level 90 boss fight or 2000 coins 50 50 chance kind of thing. Love the game but some things need tweaking !. Ok...why dont ALL of the prize animals make sounds? You bust your bum to win an animal prize and no sounds? I mean, the Unihorse makes his horsie sounds and the chicken does her cluck-cluck sounds but no OINK OINK or grunt grunt for the piggy? What about Giraffe and Fox? Duck? Doge? Come on guys. Make it worth our while. Also I think the hats should be a little more elaborate. I know it’s supposed to be the 8 bit thing but can’t the fancy hat have a ribbon that looks longer and a flower that stands out? The same for the other hats. More character. Love the rainbows and clouds! Maybe once you beat a “boss” you can start there for a limited amount of plays...(if you’re out of lives). Anyhow, besides those things, LOVE the game!

Almost There. Game is most enjoyable in multi-player, however, I’ve found the multi-player games often have members lose connection. When playing with the same players in other games we do not run into this issue but it happens each time we play Crossy. We’ve also come across a glitch where a character will fall through the floor (if the floor raises) the other characters go on and die but the level never ends because the other person fell through the floor and cannot die. Only way to continue is for one player to disconnect but then all progress for that player is lost. After weeks of playing together we got into level 100 on uni castle when the glitch kicked in and 2 of three players lost all progress because of the glitch. Total let down.

Good time killer but not much more. I'll play this to kill a few minutes when i'm bored but i don't really love this game because of how easy it can be and how you'll pretty quickly see every possible room in a castle after a few runs. There are plenty of castles to play through so the game isn't lacking in content, I just don't like how it's the rooms are so randomly arranged each run.

Fun but repetitive. Art style is colourful and interesting, soundtrack is goofy and fun, however the core game got a little dull for me after a few rounds. People who love collect-a-thons and beating their high score will probably love this game, but in my case I felt like I experienced everything that the game had to offer after a few rounds over the span of 20-30 min.

Fun single player mode, AND multiplayer!. This game is so much FUN! The characters are hilarious, and the multiplayer mode is a great joy to play and see how good other players are. The different castles all have their own style and challenges, but I do want more castles to play in. Although the ones that are already there are still a TONNE o’ FUN, and yes the space station 115 update was pretty recent, there are a lot of castles still black and unplayable. Other than wanting more castles, I can find no other faults in the game EXCEPT for one thing… Sometimes, when I am playing in multiplayer, once everyone has made it through the door the game will just freeze-at times, it will stop for a few seconds and then go to the next level like normal, but other times it’s really annoying because I might get to a really high level and then it stops and I have to go out, turn the internet off and on again, then go back in and search for another match, wait for it to connect, and start back at the bottom of the tower! If this glitch could be fixed, the game would be practically perfect! Overall, definitely one of the top arcade games. Thank you Hipster Whale.

Good fun, good graphics, small annoyances. This is another very good game from Hipster Whale; graphics, gameplay and sounds are all well done with just enough variety in levels to keep one coming back. Biggest (admittedly small) annoyances are: - inability to adjust/mute sound fx volume (e.g. listening to a podcast while playing) - flakey multiplayer (many times we’ve had issues getting connected or experienced random dropouts) - no ability for our kids (under 13s) to play multiplayer with us, even with their family managed Apple IDs

Defiantly Recommend. The game is super fun and addicting, 100% recommend. There’s only a slight problem but not really a big deal. The problem is sometimes when I’m jumping and going forward it stops me and I fall down. And sometimes when I buy hearts I walk through the door without collecting them, so it would be a nice feature to not let you leave until you got the heart or give you the heart if you forget it when going through the door. Other than those the game is amazing and very entertaining.

Outstanding game but needs something new…. I believe this is one of the finest games I’ve ever seen in all my video game reviewing. A multiplayer game that shows all the attributes a multiplayer game should have. The only suggestion I have is to make a creative mode where you can make your own levels. This will draw in more people and make people stay on the platform longer. If they do this then they will enjoy the game more and get hooked into the game. This means they will share the game with friends and recommend in to relatives and friends. Hope this review helped and keep up the good work hipster whales.

This is how it’s done. Other game developers need to take a good long look at Hipster Whale’s Crossy Road Castle when it comes to multiplayer games. Especially Arcade games that are on mobile and TV. The Arcade games that don’t support local (couch) multiplayer aren’t doing it right. Thanks Hipster Whale! You never fail to impress.

At last a true family game. Here is an example of a perfect intergration between several platform. 4 players, coop/competitive play using anything as a controller, A++ in the same room! Imagine a game where my 3 year old daughter starts on apple tv, then my 7 year old joins using an xbox 1 controler (Bluetooth, sync with apple tv) then my wife and I join with our ipad... well they did it and extremelly easy do to. Very easy to learn and difficult to master, lots of unlockable stuff. Continue your very good job, this is what apple tv / ipad family games need.

Sooooo goood. Crossy Road Castle is a really great game. One of my favourites on Apple Arcade. I like the levels but wish there were a bigger selection of towers and levels in the towers. Super fun. This game is reflectuve of alot of older mario games. I got apple arcade basically just for this and it is really fun. Lots to discover with a great multiplayer experience. It is quite laggy on ipad tho

You always see a road, water, logs, cars, and trains but this one has so many different things in it! Every level is different! Which makes it better!

Multiple player across same wifi does not work. Got this game so the family can play together at home but wifi multiplayer does not work. Keeps scanning and scanning and scanning. Contacted support and checked device settings, didn’t fix the issue, then no more answer from Hipster Whale. Disappointed as it seems like a fun game for parents and kids to play together. * edit * I finally figured out it was a settings issue - access to local network was toggled off! Now the game is working as expected and lots of fun playing together on the couch!

Multiplayer players are trash. Good game. Best played single player. If you play with randoms you’re gonna pull your hair out because they don’t know what they’re doing. Add levels system or something to help this please. I took off 2 stars for massive battery drain issues and constant multiplayer disconnect issues. Battery drains a lot even on single player. Level 90 bosses are pretty much impossible.

Bug with space station tower. At least two stages are not playable in the space station tower. One of them is where you launch your character into a teleporter. The teleporter always fails to catch the character. The other is where there are a row of cannons on the left and teleporters on right. The cannons are not aligned. Fix it please.

Fantastic multiplayer game. Lots of fun if you play with a bunch of friends or family. Multi player works very well and is super seamless. Didn’t experience any lagging when playing locally (didn’t try online) Wouldn’t really recommend it as a solo game.

Multi player rarely works. My kids and I enjoy playing this together, but multiplayer rarely works. We’re all on the same Wi-Fi, but scanning Wi-Fi is iffy. Using a code works 1 out of every 5 times, usually it ends up “connection failed”. This is super frustrating.

Glitch. Very fun game love the multiplayer but on the ski resort level there is a glitch on the one level where i can’t press the link button to get threw the door without dying. They give you bombs and stuff but they don’t seem to work.

Amazing!. I absolutely love this game! The simplicity and different levels make it so fun! I have literally spent hours on this game trying to get to level 100. But I have one improvement I want to make, and it’s pretty simple to do. I’ve noticed that you can mute the music but not the sound effects. I like to listen to music when playing and the sound effects just get in the way of it. I know I could just get a different device but it’s just not efficient. Thank you!

Need more towers!!!!. So on there it says towers coming soon, like how soon are they coming because I need them now! I love that game but it’s getting boring because I’ve played every single one of the towers like 1000 times! And also somebody needs to fix the glitches. Like when in multiplayer everything will be fine and then all of a sudden it starts lagging and things like that and then either you get disconnected or have to quit. Please add more towers and fix lagging issues!! Thanks

AMAZING!. Hi it’s me again I wanted to give a new review because there was a update. The new tower is awesome the boss is unique and great. The idea of bird bosses is cool and fun😀. Also if I had to make a scale of hardest bosses is would be. Owl easiest only if first one. Eagle second easiest only if first one. Robot bird hardest only if first on. Oh! And if you’re a new player here’s a hint. multiplayer gets you coins faster but does not count toward achievements where you have to kill enemies. Hope this is helpful😊. Towers I think you should add -food tower. -ocean tower -sand temple tower

Wow, great game!. You really have done it again... you made a game simple, addicting, and quite simply beautiful. This game has a lot of potential, first you should make the point system more clear... it’s a little confusing. Second make it a little easier to collect characters and hats. I understand you don’t want us to “finish” the game, but it is a little annoying how hard it is to get a new fun character. Other than that, great job! It really is a great game,

Almost Good. I was impressed by the art style and the fully realized mechanics, but the level generation is frustrating and boring, as well as the levels. Overall a fun game to spend a few minutes on, but hard to continue after a far along loss. It also needs a better progression system, as it is incredibly frustrating to have to go back to the beginning after dying because of a mistake on a hard level after 80 floors. The majority of the level design is frustrating, and the generation is badly done. Still fun to mess around on, but don’t expect an amazing game

Good game. But shodent the castles have floors?!. Yeah. Good fun game. But why does it not tell you what floor you are on? That is the only thing l don’t like about it. Also, can they be faster with the new towers that are always coming out? but the second one took two months! So, I am considering that the towers might have floors, l mean,maybe they have floors and the creator of the game forgot to program the game to do that but the programmer will probably fix the problem that it does not tell you what floor you are on.

It is a great game but needs more levels. This game is really fun, I know that it is new and Apple is working on it but needs more levels and stuff like that. I LOVE APPLE, I HAVE NO DISRESPECT FOR APPLE. I love Apple, I would recommend sneaky Sasquatch and this, these are really good games. This is just a recommendation, I do not want to be the type of person that reviews something like I hate this game like you know? Great Game, but poor Online Play. Crossy Road Castle is a fabulous take on the Crossy Road series, and I actually prefer it over the original! However, I dislike the multiplayer features. It’s incredibly rare to find someone actually playing, let alone a full lobby. I hope that CRC can get ported to other platforms to hopefully resolve this issue, but for now the solo experience is great! I just hope they don’t add more multiplayer stickers, syncing up 4 Joy Cons to an iPhone is pain.

My WACKY Experience with Crossy Road Castle. I love this game so much that I made Perler beads of the characters! Anyways, here are some wacky suggestions that probably aren’t normal. 1: Add the fourth volume of the soundtrack! It’s been quite a while since Volume 3 came out, so I would like to know what the unnamed songs are called. 2: The rooms should have serial numbers! The reason for this is so they are easier to identify. 3: I want to know EXACTLY what chances there are for the difficulties of rooms. Anyways, that’s it! Thanks for showing that!

Love it! A breathe of fresh air. After weeks of disappointment, I’m glad to see a good,interesting game finally come out in Apple Arcade. I’m a Crossy Road lover, and have been one for years, and this is a great spin off. It’s highly addicting! My only minor complaint is that I wish the multiplayer wasn’t restricted by Wi-Fi and I wish younger kids can play (there are age restrictions.) It would also be fun to play with random people, online. I hope these get added in a future update!

Great game, just some connectivity issues and a tiny little quality of life change. As the title says, it’s a great game concept. Only thing I’d want is a bit better connectivity, maybe a server type aspect sometime down the road. (Though there’d be lag) And Also! The buttons are really small on my IPhone 11 Pro Max compared to my friends 10R gonna assume that it’s pixel based due to how they scale. Just want an option for slightly bigger buttons down the road please.

This game is awesome. I like the characters and towers so please add a ocean tower and a dark tower the enemies in the ocean tower will be shark fish and the boss will be octopus in the dark tower that’s the future tower the enemies in the tower will be skeleton necromancer and the boss will be dark lord also second request please add a level editor to this game maybe make a trailer for it and you can choose which world you want and add previous bosses and enemies and other stuff in it.

This game is so much fun but.... This game is AMAZING but there’s one problem. I really wanted to play this game with my family. We all downloaded it and went to wifi game but because some of us were under the age of 13 we couldn’t play together. Honestly for a game targeting kids it kinda failed. Please take this requirement away. I know a lot of families including mine would like this game a lot better. Thanks for your time. Thank you so much for fixing this! I can’t wait to play more! Fun . . . at first. I loved Crossy Road, so I was happy to see a new release from Hipster Whale. This is basically a modern Mario clone, and ordinarily I love randomly generated games, but in this case its random nature works against itself. The game gets repetitive very quickly, and I tired of it after about a day having played through around forty or so levels. That said, it is very stylish, very polished, and controls very well on the screen. Clearly a lot of hard work went into its production, so bravo to the team involved. It would have been better presented in a format other than Arcade, in my opinion, and indeed, that appears to be the way it was developed originally given the way that it plays. This is less a criticism of Hipster Whale than Apple - I'll give it a year, but the polish wore off of Arcade much too fast. Apple just can't seem to get gaming right, going back decades; they squander every advantage from Airplay, to Apple TV to this service. Let's not talk about Pippin. I'd love to see more compelling games and less mediocre TV shows, Apple.

Good but needs multiplayer. I find this game incredibly fun and very addicting, buuuuut... the age restriction is just bad. It’s already set up so that you can only play with people on your WiFi, which should be protection enough. People don’t just let random other people on their WiFi. My parents have allowed me to play multiplayer, but because this game only looks at whether or not you’re a kid, it doesn’t matter. I have a lot of progress on this device and do not want to have to switch to my parents phone or some other old device. This needs to change. Now.

Insanely Great. Often sequels are never as good as the original. Crossy Road set the bar so high that it would take something truly phenominal to top it. Crossy Road Castle did the impossible, it is truley innovative in a way that is beyond freshing in an overly saturated sea of less than par side scrolling games. Crossy Road Castle mixes in 2D and 3D graphics with intuitive game play that apeals to anyone. It's small footprint allows it to not consume too much disk space which is incresingly appreciated on devices with small storage capacities. This game alone is worth the price of the Apple Arcade subscription.

Great Game! One thing though.. This game is great, I love it so much. I love it doesn’t have micro-transactions. I love the gameplay, how you can do multiplayer but one thing I would love is online mode! That would be so fun especially since a lot of our stuck in quarantine we can’t be by our friends. Over all I love this game and I am giving this a 5 star rating because the online is just an ask and it doesn’t really make me like the game any less. Great work!

Bug in new levels but overall fun.. This is a super fun game! My girlfriend and I have been looking forward to a new tower for a long time, but we are very disappointed with a bug that make completing the new tower impossible. Whenever the player is on a platform that moves at high speed the player will end up falling through the platform. Other than that the game is a fun platformer with simple controls and interesting level design. A good time playing solo or with friends.

Super fun Crossy Road game!. I love Crossy road, so being that they made Crossy castle is AMAZING!!! I enjoy playing this game with multiple people, and the updates just keep getting better and better! I would love to see more towers, characters, hats, and MORE! Super fun game, if you love Crossy road, you will like this! I’d love to see some sort of clan group sort of thing. And a friends list to! It would be fun to stay connected to others while playing the game! Can’t wait to see what future updates come for Crossy castle!!!

E-P-I-C. Missing one thing though.. I LOVE this game, it is awesome! The graphics are nice. There is an amazing amount of worlds, and characters. So many machines, traps, and cool bosses. I never expect what will happen next, which I love. But, there is one thing not in the game that I would really enjoy. There are many levels, but I’ve seen about all of them that are available. So maybe, you could add a bonus tower section, where you can play and make levels. Otherwise…. THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Fun but should give more hearts. This is a fun time consuming game. We have completed 233 levels with a score of 6970. However it should allow you to gain a heart after each time you complete an eagle level. It should also allow for more than 9999 coins and 999 purple coins. At this point we are just waiting for the new levels. The current levels just repeat after 136 so it becomes extremely repetitive.

So fun although one Problem. The Game is great I love the idea of turning Crossy road into a platformer, but one key feature you guys never added was chrome cast, if it could connect to the tv flat 5 stars now you probably don’t think this is a big problem but why would you add it so that multiple controllers can connect to the same iPad to have a co op multiplayer which is weird because the screen is a tad small so please add chrome cast that would be a key feature.

Great game for kids/adults looking to chill. This game looks great. I feel that the grouping of levels into sections of 10 is smart and the chance to regen lives is helpful. I also love the character designs and sounds in the game. The online co-op in the game very fun and can spice up every instance of climbing the tower. However, it feels like I’m not the game’s target audience. It’s too easy, with too much repetition across levels, and I’m just losing interest in the game. I think a challenging mode/tower would resolve it. But currently it’s too easy for me to enjoy even as a relaxing time-passer. But I have heard others say the easiness of the game makes it relaxing, so it might work for some individuals.

Love it, but it is missing something.... This is my go-to Apple Arcade Game. I just wish that you could randomly select different characters you have unlocked like in Crossy Road, and also that something would change with each character like the coins, theme, or background colors and textures, maybe the monsters could get reskinned. Those kind of Easter Eggs are what I love about Crossy Road, so this doesn’t feel completely like a Crossy game, more of a vague callback to Crossy Road than a counterpart. Still a great platformer, I am anticipating more tower updates!

Online Multiplayer, Please!. This is overall a great Crossy Road spin-off game that I play a lot at home. The reason I’m giving it a 4 star is because of the lack of online multiplayer. I understand that the game has just released to the public after just 6 months of the first teaser trailer, but only being able to play on the same WiFi doesn’t make much sense to me. I really wanted to play with my sister while we were both in quarantine, but we can’t because you have to be connected to the same WiFi. But I’m sure it’ll be a thing in the future.

A lot of fun!. Crossy Castle is sooo much fun. You can play with friends family the levels are really cool and unique and you can get new characters and hats. The new update is really fun, but I think it’s a little to hard because I could get to level thirty playing in the castle, but it the new update I can only get up to level 15. Maybe you could have players choose their difficulty levels. Overall an amazing game!!

Great Fun With Friends!. I loved the original Crossy Road games and this isn’t a exception. It’s just as fun and even more so with friends. That being said, I wish this game had multiplayer on one device but what’s here is fine enough. Also the music, it’s SUPER good! Catchy, lighthearted tunes filled with energy. It reminds me of the Snipperclips plus soundtrack for Nintendo Switch. Overall, this is one of the better Apple Arcade games that have released recently, and I hope it keeps getting better! 4/5

Great, with one caveat. I love this as much as Crossy Road, but I have one issue with it, and I don’t see anyone else with this problem so maybe I’m an asymmetrical freak... When I’m running to the right, I can almost never jump to the right. It’s something about the small tap target on the jump button. Going left, no problem, works as expected. But most of the game goes to the right and try as I might I can’t get the run-right and tap jump to work as smoothly. I think my right thumb shifts position too much to stay on target or something. Still going to keep at it.

Multiplayer WiFi issues. Recently wrote a review about multiplayer WiFi not working— it’s not because of some age restriction issue though, like the devs had responded about. My friends and I were sitting in the same room on the same WiFi and weren’t able to see each others games in the join menu. No clue why, or what’s causing it, so sorry for so little to go off of. Either way, I’m hoping the online multiplayer update will fix it! Really excited for it!! Keep up the great work! Love the game!👍👍

Great game but a level keeps glitching. I enjoy this game, it’s great but the newest world has a level that glitches out. It’s the level where you have to hit a bomb against a pink button so that then the pick button turns off the wall so you can get out but it doesn’t work, when I hit the bomb against the button it doesn’t turn off the wall so I’m trapped in that level. It’s an awesome game and it’s my favorite app on my phone, please, if anyone sees this, I’d love it if you could fix that glitch.

Favorite Apple Arcade game!. I’ve edited my review— now multiplayer is amazing too! You can play with your friends, people near you, and online. It’s super quick to find an online match, and it’s really fun to play with other people, since it’s much harder to lose and much easier to get high scores and lots of coins & tokens. I can’t find anything to complain about with this amazing game now! If you have Apple Arcade, be sure to download this game!!!

I love this game and the fact you can play on controller!. This game is super fun and it does not require internet so it is a great car ride game it’s pretty much like Mario but Crossy road style there is so many different types of floors you can do also I love the secret levels with the green doors plz update the game and add more fun towers and fun rooms this is my fav Crossy road game by far at first I thought it was a bad idea to get Apple Arcade but I take it back! This game makes me feel like it’s worth it have a nice day and plz update!

GET THIS GAME RIGHT NOWWWWW. Now I have been playing this since it came out and I played it all the time… but I just found out that hipster wale isn’t going to make any more tower😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭this game has been with be for almost 5 YEARS and now there won’t be anymore big content updates 😭😭😭😭😭 but this game is great if you haven’t tried it do it I promise u I won’t be a disappointment.

Love it, but there’s a bug. Some times you just fall through the pink moving platforms in the creepy carnival, I don’t mean when the platform falls and you have to go to the next one. This only happens when there is a “U” shaped curve, it’s happening to my brother too, but I don’t know if happening to anyone else, or if I’m just missing something I’m supposed to jump on. Thanks for making another amazing game!

Fun but Frustrating. I’ve been playing this game almost every day. It’s a lot of fun and the levels are constantly switching. My major issue is the sheer amount of time it takes to get far. I’ve made it to level 80.... maybe a bit higher, but the fact that you lose and start from the beginning makes this game annoying. It would be awesome if you could start from a major level (like the Eagle) when you lose 3 lives. Going all the way back to the beginning... every. Single. Time. It’s slowly crushing my soul.

Instructions for boss levels. First, people playing in quick match need to know that you are playing as a team, not against each other. I had a playing sabotaging me with the disappearing blocks, so that they could move to next level. Hello people, we are playing as a team! It is not a battle to see who wins. Also, on the boss levels, or whatever they are called, should give quick instructions about what to do ie. avoid the eagle pop! Thanks.

Absolutely Love This Game. I really am in this game and can’t stop playing it! Me and my family love it. There is one small suggestion though, I would like to inquire why children under a certain age can’t participate in multiplayer. To us, it does not make sense why that is so important. We all use the same internet and live in the same household, but the younger ones (including me :) cannot play with the rest. I can certainly imagine the game being so much more enjoyable if we as a family could play it. Otherwise, I love this game!!!

A platformer really requires multiplay to feel fun. This is a very well designed platformer. The graphics is cheerful and cute. It also introduces a rogue-like mechanism to support the multiplay mode. The puzzles are fun for the first few times of encountering with them, but feels too simple after that. It is the game designed for multiplay and compete for who will stand last. The problem is, it is very hard to find other people to play together, therefore the game basically becomes a single play game. Then all of those simple puzzle with rogue-like mechanism becomes its drawback which contributes to receptiveness.

Finally found a great AppleTV experience for the family!. I downloaded this on my iPhone just so I could write a proper review and say thanks to the dev team! This is the first game I’ve managed to find on the Apple TV that supports all four of our controllers! It has great cooperative play and handles controller disconnects gracefully. It even runs great on our older 1080p Apple TV. The whole family is enjoying this experience together - thank you!

GREAT GAME but some multiplayer glitches.. Yeah so like sometimes when I play multiplayer this glitch is the one where people freeze in place not them being afk for real one time someone was in the air frozen with the dust but the dust wasn’t moving ether. Well I think I forgot the other ones but next time I will change my review so I can show you the other glitches and can you make more cats? There is only Blue and that felt thats wrong. There’s more dogs so why not more cats to make it equal?

Fun but Multiplayer rules need to change. I think this game is so fun. I like the multiplayer option but think it needs to be developed. I think it’s silly that I can’t play this game with my kids because of the age restriction. Doesn’t make sense that we can’t play a game on WiFi (i would understand if it was a rule against playing with strangers - but a rule against WiFi game against family members? That’s just silly.) I would also like a multiplayer game option to play a network type game like Balistic Baseball or other Apple Arcade games).

Game is perfect, but there is a bug. this game is a pretty good one to pick up and play once in a while, and I got news there was a new online mode. I tried to play quick play, but it told me my device must be a certain update or higher, but I’m all up to date, and I can’t actually play quick play because of this bug. Otherwise, 5 stars. Edit: I may have mistaken something about the updates, this might not be a problem, might be on my part... most likely is my part.

Awesome game, but.... Well, when I’m playing solo it works great! But, whenever I try to play with others, an age restriction message appears. I then turned data collection off an on again several times but I still received the age restriction message. I have no age restrictions for my Game Center account, and I do not know why this error would occur. I will assume that this is a minor bug, so I would be incredibly appreciative if you would please attend to the issue. Thank you for your time and effort, A concerned gamer

Best game I have played besides Terraria and Dead Cells. Wow. Just wow. Complete change of genre from Crossy Road, and it’s amazing. I really like speedrunning games, and this is perfect for that, as well as with casual playing. The multiplayer system could be a little better by removing some lag and adding a chat system, but I understand that wouldn’t be great since lots of the players are very young kids and the chat system would just be a lot of people being inappropriate to them.

Great but where’s the update?. My family and I started playing this last month and we love it! We play it every night and it’s a great family activity. The only question is that where is the update? In the game it says a update coming soon but this game is yet to receive an update. Over all a great game but I am still looking for that update.

Cheating problem. Crossy Castle is an awesome game! One thing, though. I was just playing Multiplayer Mode and noticed while I was making my way across the obstacles, the other players lagged behind. A couple seconds after I finished, the others got sucked into the tunnel with me, and I thought that that was sorta unfair, seeing as they didn’t do anything at all. So, getting to the point, I just think you guys over at Apple Arcade and Hipster Whale should do something about that, like adding a timer or something.

Great but can I turn all the sound off. Love the game but I want to listen to music while I’m playing this is getting annoying and please add some different songs to listen to while you play otherwise great game👏🏻. Good Game. Lots of fans like this game because memory of Crossy Road. It has very cool bosses and such. and there a lot of hats, characters, and even towers. And how all the room are very easy and challenging, and the room are all different. And there co-op in Crossy Road Castle. I play co-op with my brother sometimes when we have the chance. Age restriction problem. First, I gotta say that this game is one of the best and I would continually play it over and over again. Here is the problem though. I tried playing with a friend of mine but his phone says that gamecenter has him age restricted when he is really not. I was wondering if you can fix that problem because it is obvious that this game is for all ages because of its super Mario like gameplay. But other than that the game is amazing and it will only get better!
