Merge to Work … Canceled Subscription Within 3 Day Trial. I’m in my first 24 hours of a three day trial with the intention of canceling … but it’s difficult to cancel as there is no obvious way to cancel. First off, the app itself works as calls are recorded. I am, however, not happy about having to merge the call after the other party is on the call, which defeats the purpose of recording the call in the first place. My State’s law says that one of the parties on the phone has to consent, that party being me. Therefore, I am perfectly operating within the law. This is why I’m no longer using the app. Does anyone know how to cancel? I’ve already deleted my cc info from my account but somehow, I am not confident this will do the trick. Thanks.

Great App with Great Support. Love this App. Apple iphone now can record a call so I thought I would no longer have to pay for this. So glad I kept it. The things the App can do is exponetially better than Apples option! Add to this the support available and I would not operate with out it. The support gets back to you quickly and every time I had a question, they kindly looked into it and got right back to me. Love this App!

So far so good. I just tried it with my husband and it worked awesome! I will update later for sure!

Saved from loss…. Being a stockbroker, it’s hard to keep paper pen all the time, was just hanging out with family, got a call from firm and I just recorded the call. The next thing was I saved a lots of client’s bucks from loss.

Too many steps to record. Call recorders I've used in the past have automatically started recording calls as soon as you answer your phone or call someone. This call recorder is not user friendly and requires you to tie up your line so you can’t receive a second call if your recording. Poor design and I’ve only used this recorder twice although I need to use it every time I speak to a customer, to ensure I get all the correct information. 👎🏾I give this call recorder a thumbs down I should have never purchase it.

Crashes. Everytime I click on something in the app it will crash what I clicked on and go back to the screen I was on previously. For example , I just got done recording a call and everything was working and loading smoothly. I pressed the option to rename it and I was able to get it all typed but I ended up wanting to rename it a second time and it crashed back to the list of recordings screen I was on to be able to access the rename option. I tried it 3 more times and everytime it would go back to the recordings screen in the middle of my typing. And it’s also doing the same thing when I try to share the recording to a different app or place in my phone. I was able to save it where I needed to but I got taken back in the middle of choosing where I wanted to share it to for some “back up/just in case” options. Not sure if it does this for everyone or what.... very frustrating and probably going to have to find a different app to use/: i really liked this one

A+. Works great best call recorder out there, so easy to use. Literally two z2 buttons and that’s it

Good app. The only downside is that you have to pay for international calls outside the US. But that’s not that big of a deal for such a good app

Very hard to record incoming calls. I have tried twice to record an incoming call. It does not work. Not only that, the app takes forever to power on. When you are in the middle of a call and you push the button to record it takes forever to even show up. You’ve already missed a lot of your conversation.

Easy to use. Very much a user friendly app.. Ease of use is key issue when recording a telephone conversation and this is what this app is all about.

I’d give it zero stars if possible.. Downloaded the app because I had an important call that I knew I’d have to reference back. The call lasted over an hour and I didn’t take notes so that’s could concentrate on participating, and felt ok with that knowing I was recording the call. When I went to play it back, only 25 seconds was recorded. Absolute junk.

Best app for recording voice calls while on the call.. Loving it.

Doesn’t record entire conversations. I was really excited about this app because I have wanted to record conversations between myself and loved ones. However, I found while using this app that it only records snippets of the call. I’ve tried to contact customer support and they can’t tell me why it’s not working. I have never been able to record a call for longer than nine minutes.

Recording stopped. I just downloaded the app and decided to do the 3- day trial prior to purchasing it. I was testing it out, I had called my daughters school and was able to merg calls correctly. When I was promoted by school recording to “press 1” the recording automatically stopped. Is this not something we are able to do? Can we not utilize keypad during call while recording? Or is it because I didn’t subscribe yet and doing a free trial ?

Doesn’t work, don’t waste your $ or time. And they don’t answer support inquiries. I subscribed, recorded an important call, but can’t listen to it even though I’m a subscriber. Sent a support request with no answer. If you need something like this, I’d suggest finding another app because this one is worthless.

Doesn’t work for longer calls. Tried it out because work associate didnt want to use zoom, but I needed the call recorded. App didnt even save the call, saved it as a html file and no audio. Changing file manually to .mp3 works as well as you would expect... Glitch happened more than once and those calls over 15 minutes. Does work well with shorter calls, and worked once for a long call. You cant tell audio was recorded successfully until call ends...your risk if you download it.

Hangs up after pressing numbers in call. I just noticed after upgrading to iOS 17, and I’m not certain it’s only affecting this version of iOS. However, if I make a call and then press any keys as a touch tone response (e.g., automated menu), I notice that the Recorder’s service number drops from the 3-way call. Only the original number appears. This is useless now. My ticket has been ignored. Time to find a new solution! Update (07-Dec-2023): Issue persists well into iOS 17.1.2.

Nice. With using this beautiful call recording app, I could easily share and store my voice calls

Scam. Claims to offer 3 day free trial but on day 2 I canceled my “free trial” so I wouldn’t be charged and now can’t use the service unless I restore the “free trial.” But here’s the kicker there is a notice that states within 24 or a day before the trial ends you’ll be charged the full price that will take effect after the last day of the trial, so if you don’t cancel it the day before it ends you’ll be charged but if you cancel it the day before it ends you can no longer use it unless you pay or restore the trial, either way the customer loses.

Wish it was a little cheaper. Great app just wish it was easier to use so you can record people calling you easier

Says it’s free; isn’t free, all these apps do this. The app is only free to download, you can’t record without a subscription. Waste of space on my phone and misleading. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I’ve been looking for an actual free app but there isn’t any. I’ve downloaded like 15 of these apps hoping at least statistically one would be free and it doesn’t look like it.

Worthless. I needed to record a phone call with an airlines that had canceled one of my flights, and I wanted to get it on record so they couldn't back out on what they were promising me. I found this app, downloaded it, and paid for a one week subscription. I initiated the call, as instructed in the app, called the airlines, and then merged the calls. After approximately ten minutes on the call I received a notification from this app saying that my recording was ready, which was weird because I was still on the call. I figured that maybe it had started a new recording, or something, so I finished the phone call with the airlines and hung up. I immediately went to the app and it showed only one recording - the initial ten minutes of the call. The recording was worthless and didn't record the part of the phone call that I really needed recorded. So, thanks for nothing "Call Recorder," and thanks for wasting my time and money.

like. I like the updated features and user-friendly design of the call recorder app

Good app. Used the 3 day free trial, quality of the call recorded was perfect for the other persons voice but my voice in the recording is a little muffled. You can save the recordings as well which is a big plus.

Be respectful. It worked ok for the first month or two. Since then, I cannot record calls for longer than 4 - 7 minutes. The app just drops calls without notifications and then after the call is over there is a message “Your recording is ready” which is only for 3 minutes. Happens over and over again. That’s not what I subscribed for! I reached out to the support center, it took them a while to respond, then they told me that they communicated it to someone in India, and then I’ve never heard back. I followed up with them multiple time, but all my messages were ignored. Cannot believe how bad the app an the customer service are.

Wonderful app. This solved a huge problem for me. Brilliant app. I’m sure I will be using it again later. Thanks for it.

Great app. I love this app. It records my calls clearly l, the customer service is excellent (within a day) and it is cost effective compared to the other apps out there that do exactly the same thing. Ok

This App saved my remote radio segments. I found this app on a fluke and decided to try it out to do my pre-record interviews for my 3 radio shows. It’s been a lifesaver and the quality sounds great! You can’t even tell that I’m not live in the studio.

Inconvenient & frustrating. You can’t just press a button to record a call. It’s a super weird frustrating & inconvenient process. You need to open the app, then call the special phone number on the app, THEN add the person you want to record with to the call, THEN once the person answers, you have to merge the call turning it into what looks like a group call between you, the person you’re recording with, and the special phone number on the app (which looks very suspicious)— that’s when the recording starts. On top of that, it only works half the time. Once you merge the calls, the call with the special phone number will either drop right away or half way through the conversation, therefore ending the recording before it even starts or cutting half of it off. The app is buggy, and will delete the labels you put on your recorded conversations. For someone like myself who’s in sales & makes a lot of phone calls, it is not ideal and more of a headache than it is helpful. Wouldn’t use it even if it was free.

Does not connect calls. I paid for a full year, first few calls were fine. Then the calls stopped recording mid conversation. Then the calls wouldn’t connect at all! This app is horrible! I will be requesting my money back!

Doesn’t work. My first call after paying was only 30 seconds. My fourth call had no sound. My fifth call said “unknown error” and wouldn’t play. My email to support wouldn’t send because I don’t use native email. Complete disaster and demanding a refund.

Do not purchase only records 5 minutes. I purchased this call recorded for my business calls and bought the yearly membership right away. I’m incredibly disappointed in the product, call recording time is only 5 minutes then you have to redo it every 5 minutes. Mind you each time you connect to record there is also a 10 second delay where you cannot hear the conversation. I would not waste your money on this product

4.99 unlimited call option is not available once i download the app. I am happy to delete this review once this is resolved. However, I took a lot of time to choose you based on comparing many reviews and pricing. It is disappointing to then download the app and not be shown any of the options listed in your pricing other than a 5.99 weekly option any 7.99 with the option, neither of which I am interested in. If someone can quickly provide me with the option that I want, that you offer, I will update my review.

Terrible call recorder. It’s absolutely horrible.. terrible to use.. it’s virtually impossible to use to record.. it doesn’t work to record the conversation when you press call record .. it only records a few secs of your call.. this is a hack!!! I can’t believe they can get away with submitting an app to the AppStore without verification that it’s accessible for use or no issues operating! Pls tell me why I couldn’t record for longer than 5 sec.. that’s absurdly ridiculous and that’s following every step that’s stated how to use !

App does unauthorised subscriptions despite cancelling. The app is annoying to use and extremely difficult to cancel subscription. I had been billed during my free trial and then when I cancelled it constantly still kept billing me 12.99 I’ve requested for refunds via their support and even via apple. Annoying and toxic app.

Nothing works except auto renew. Was not able to use the app according to the instructions. Was not able to cancel the auto renew. And cannot even send a question or request a refund through the app so have had to attempt through apple. The only thing they seem to get right is take your money. I will remove this review if my refund is processed. Very disappointed as I missed recording the very important calls for which I downloaded the app.

Audio Missing. I just had a 49min phone call that recorded something but no audio is coming through. How is this possible

Why do we need to download the App to find out the cost ?. The Description in the AppStore and the Web site doesn’t mention the cost of the service until the App is Downloaded on the phone ( for Free ) and then discovered 11.99$ per week or 77$ per years. This is too much restrictive because 12$ is too much for me ( per week more than 500$ a year )and i am not ready to give 77$ US plus tax ( if the service maybe 2-3 days trial might not be enough to evaluate the quality or usefulness .

Doesn’t work. I downloaded the call recorder to record an important client call. Call Recorder only recorded 58 minutes of a 90 minute call. It’s an expensive app that doesn’t work. There are many free options that work. Don’t waste your time and money.

Disappointing. Please cancel my subscription for the free trial and annual fee. I cannot get this system to work. The instruction videos will not download and there is no audio being recorded during calls when I activate the app. Very disappointing

Not a good app.. I have been cut off of multiple calls and have lost multiple recordings unable to retrieve them. Support takes days to respond and don’t have answers when they do.

Recording made simple.. My Father hates the complicated technology, but for Call recorder, he can operate it with ease.

Bad connection method. Statistics and reconnecting the call delay the recording. I don’t like it. Ps. They charge you on the 3 rd day more than subscription costs.

Default option of 60$ subscription does not have warning pop ups. I want to cancel my subscription. Your FAQ doesn’t load and support page as well.

App failed recording witnesses in daughter’s death. We were devastated to find that the recorded witnesses statement in our daughter’s death did not open.
