Public Storage. Joey who manages the Public Storage that have my belonging in is very friendly and efficient. I am using the Public storage located in North Tonawanda NY. Joey was able to help me solve an issue with auto pay. By not using auto pay I can use the same credit card each month and make my payments. He will check in with me if I have any concerns. I still feel apprehensive at times in reference to my monthly payment not being accepted. We have not solved that issue as to why that happened on auto pay. However no issues have occurred since being removed from that program. What makes me feel safe is I can call Joey and ask if all is well. He does not mind looking up my account and reassuring me that my payment has been accepted.

39th st public storage. I’ve rented from public storage inPuyallup for about 10 months And I must say it is the worst place I have ever rented from including the staff all the way up to the district managerYour storage gets read locked for no reason if you’re out late 10 minutes late at the gate you get locked put on you’re punished for everything and anything you do and when you try to talk to the staff about anything they call the cops the district manager Jose is the worse what he does he put you down making jokes of your race is not understanding he doesn’t accept nobodies phone calls unless you give the operator your drivers license number which I think is crazy and violation of private personal information anyways before you decide to rent a Public Storage make sure you read the fine print before you sign it states in there you cannot sue them for no reason financially or any other they can terminate your lease at any time without giving you a refund of the remaining time their insurance is no good and they do not pay for your stuff when you get stolen So make sure you read before you sign up

No access to carts. I’m here and I don’t have access to a cart; because one, ever since someone locked all of them in their storage unit the they keep them in the office and you have to give them your license. Everyone’s situation is different at times. I come with children sometimes and how am I suppose to drive my car and push a cart. Anyways; there’s a sign on the door that the manager will be back in 25 minutes so the office is locked. I come from 2 hours away and I don’t have time to wait on other people when I pay for this diligently for over two years. Plus what type of security do I have here. The gate has been broken and it stays open for months now. Maybe six months. I don’t don’t know how long. This place is backwards. Good thing they have the stadium and a little golfing down in the area.

Terrible. Every time you turn around there’s a problem or a change. Several times I tried to get in early in the morning but the sliding doors wouldn’t open. Of course there’s no one on the property before 9 a.m. if at all. The app doesn’t work to open gates and doors half the time. They have recently made it so the restroom is no longer available to customers. They raised my rate for no reason considering if I rented a unit at another location it would have been cheaper. Then the manager put in for me to get a discounted rate which was approved but the company never changed it on my account. When I contacted them with a screenshot of the email that THEY sent telling me what my discounted rate was they wanted to argue and tell me that the price I had been paying (after the rate increase) was a discounted price. They remodeled the entryway and even though that looks great it’s just perfume on a pig. I’ll take my business somewhere with better customer service who will appreciate it.

Worse place I have ever done business with!. I have many complaints, starting with the woman you have running the office ! The doors to the building that are supposed to be closed are now always open so anyone can drive right in . There used to be carts the where available at all time now you can only get them by leaving your ID . I am handicap so I can only get access to my storage unit when the office is open which is hardly ever because the woman that runs the office is hardly ever in the office if she is in the office she’s in the bathroom or somewhere else I’ve knocked on the door rang the doorbell the lady never answers I found her there once since y’all have taken over . I have repeatedly asked her for a phone number to talk to someone about the problems that are going on up there . He has constantly given me the number that nobody ever answers . There are people smoking pot drinking blocking entrances to other peoples storage units . All storage was much better at keeping up with this place before y’all took over it is nothing but a horror show up there now if I wasn’t handicapped and did not have a truck I would move but unfortunately I’m stuck where I’m at it would be great if y’all would address some of these issues . Worst company ever. Worst company and service I have ever dealt with. We rented a big storage unit to accommodate extra inventory for my company. The unit is constantly inaccessible due to the staff’s incompetence and generally horrible response times, demeanor, and ability to serve their clients. The gate constantly breaks, we have people sleeping in their cars over night inside and outside the storage facility (I believe they are staff). One time a staffer fell asleep in his car blocking the gate so no one could access their units (he was too drunk to wake up). Oh so they triple the rent in the first 3 months. Overall they seem to do nothing right and make it a horrible experience in every way possible. Thank you public storage for being the worst company in America. They should get awards for worse services offered and rendered, also worst customer service in the universe.

Recently was coming home from being truck driver.. My car was stolen On Labor Day with all of my information. I had an extra license inside storage but was told I could not access it until bill was paid. I had no way to retrieve my information to get new debt and credit cards so had to travel to get things done manually which took weeks. Public storage called me everyday asking for payment and stating my things will be out in auction. I informed them if they could remove late fee so that I could give them the original payment as that’s all I had on me. They were incentivized even though I forwarded the manger video of property stolen and police report. I would never recommend them. Their branch manger never gave me a call after I left voicemails and emails. -0 stars from my experience.

Unprofessional. Do not use Public Storage. I made a payment on my unit March 31st for the month of April. Apparently the payment was unfulfilled, 5 days later? No one contacted me, no one warned me, nothing. Just charged me a fee. So when I saw an offer to try to get $1,000 by signing up for Autopay and I logged in to do so, found my account due $100. I spoke to someone who warned me if the account wasn’t paid there would be a fee…on top of a fee I didn’t know about and there was no correspondence about. Only upon questioning her in confusion about my last payment did I find out what was going on. They made no attempt to contact me for a week. I was charged another fee and they put my account in auction status and refused to remove at least one of the fees despite admitting they could see no one told me at all what was going on for a week. So now I have two fees on top of my regular amount. They flat out refused to help me at all. I told them this was unprofessional and that I would more than likely be removing my things at the end of the month. I just want to warn everyone. Been with them three months and this problem has gone from $80 to $125.

Poor Customer Service. I would not recommend the location on 16th Ave downtown Sacramento area. I rented my unit on the last day of July . The Representative Diamond stated to me that the unit would be ready to occupy the next day which was August. I reiterated that I need to start my move Saturday the 1st. She stated no problem it would be cleaned and tagged. I arrived to the unit around 4:45pm to unload my first load. To my surprise the unit was filthy and not cleaned. This was very upsetting to me. I lost my daughter and all of the belongings were her’s. I had to leave the items anyways. I called immediately and left voicemail for a resolution.. I tried both Saturday and Sunday’s for multiple weeks. No one is hardly ever at the location on the weekends.. Finally I found a supervisor who stated that she would communicate my complaint and escalate to the district manager. I have yet to here from them.. I reached out again this week and the same representative Diamond offered me a free item from there store. Mind you I am all moved. What am I going to do with a item . My things are already moved. I let her know that the offer was unexceptable. I will be reaching out to the district manager myself..

Keila Runs a Great Facility. I've had a unit there for decades and I never had a problem. Access was always easy and I especially like the new wireless entry using the phone app. I walked into the office a few weeks ago to request a second unit...I'm getting ready to move out of my apartment and I wanted all of my stuff in one place. I was so lucky to walk in and start working with Keila. She was wonderful to deal with, not only friendly and very helpful...but also very knowledge. She reviewed my current situation and realized it made more sense to upgrade to a much larger unit. It's taken a lot of work to consolidate everything, but it ends up saving me money in the long run. Keila is wonderful and an asset to Public Storage.

Poor Poor Service. Since I’ve gotten this storage unit I which has been over a year I have only been able to get in my unit once. No one is ever at location and phone is never answered. The times I have come other renters have been their waiting for 30 min or more to get in. Once a Uhaul had been stuck in the gates for 45 min b/c gates would not open to be let out. One customer said young lady that ran office was leaving out of lot while she tried to stop her and she ignored her and kept going during business hours. A customer said the last time she was in office the office smelled like drugs. I have had to speak with her General Mngr and did not seem to get help or sympathy. The answering service hides you to another location that tells you they can not help you get into your unit. I cannot suggest Public Storage to anyone as a matter of fact bad Customer Support is all you get at this location. I truly hope change are made. The support line is great but can give you little support.

Location Svs??? Where???!!!. So frustrating when you're trying to access your life belongings with an app that is almost useless. Please fix the location services permissions. It is NOWHERE to be found in order to be added. Update: The issue of the location services not being an option to be turned on happened for me when I first chose "never" when I was prompted at the app setup screen. After I realized how the app worked and went to change location permissions in settings, it was not there. See pictures attached for the two places I looked. I decided to delete and reinstall the app, and chose "while using" at the setup screen. NOW the permissions are in my phone.

Worst place to ever put your belongings. I been having my belongings at this storage for 3 weeks & have already spent over $100 just for nothing to work. My move in day the elevators didn’t work. I got stuck on it & had to move all my things from the 1st floor to the 2nd by stairs. Reminder there are several turns & it’s very easy to get lost. You ask how long does will it take for them to be back working & they NEVER KNOW. Call the office many times & there’s never an answer! Just all around unprofessional. Finally get in contact with the manger which wasn’t any help at all! Ask for a refund & was told I had to wait till I got my things out though that’s what I was trying to do today but COULD NOT! Sat on the phone only to get $50 dollars back after renting a truck for a hundred which I had to return right back. Lost that money as well. Who to say the next free day I have the elevators will be working (which they never are). It’s very clear they need a new system for their elevators !!! Now for some reason my account say payment due instead of an negative balance.

Charged after multiple attempts to contact n close out unit. Terrible management and get different info depends on which employee you speak with once you finally catch someone there. Multiple calls leaving voicemails with property manager and district manager with zero responses. I am beyond irritated. Better Business Bureau is my next contact if I do not get this resolved. I am exhausted over all of this frustration. Told by one employee i had till 6 th of month then told by another after finally catching someone in that i had a charge for this month because it was closed too late even though she had already went into the system after being made aware n closed it out. I had already cleaned unit out n swept it out. There was ice and frigid temps before that n the first female employee said it was fine.

Varmin Infestation. I have been in Converse, TX for over 10 years and recently rented out a unit only to find that there was a rat infestation that caused significant damage to my property I am very disappointed in this finding and I’m currently having to file a claim to attempt to recover damages. After asking for assistance and timely reporting this, I was told by two individuals including property manager that there was nothing they could do except file claim. Prio to renting out unit, I did not have any issues in my home “ever” and was appalled at the instant damage. I would not recommend this facility to anyone - it is not safe & the conditions are unsanitary and pose potential exposure to diseases. My son and I both have allergies & he has chronic asthma - these conditions would exacerbate our existing conditions. I’m surprised management wouldn’t offer some remedy to make me whole. I remain prayerful that my claim will be honored & timely paid!

Horrible company and management. No customer service. Application doesn’t work.. I canceled my reservation 10 days prior to my move-in date and was charged a fee that was not refunded. I have left numerous voicemails, email, messages on the Public Storage application - which only seems to work to tell you owe payment — and have not received a single reply in any way. The only communication I’ve received is that I owe a payment and a late fee for a storage unit I never occupied. This is horrible customer service and I strongly recommend that you find an alternative to your storage needs. This is a poorly-run company and should not be in business if they cannot reply to customers’ inquiries and only seek to bill you for something you haven’t even used. And the Public Storage app. Is of little benefit. I am very dissatisfied!!

Awful app. Update - the developer response makes it clear they didn’t even read the review. Location services are enabled. If they weren’t it would *never* work. Instead, they are enabled and it just *barely* works. —— If you want to use the app to open the gate or the door to your unit you have to stand within a foot of the entry point, then wait several minutes for the app to load the access screen, then detect the unit, then display the unlock option. Sometimes it simply refuses to work. Sometimes it just logs you out for no reason and won’t let you log back in. And what happens if it logs you out and won’t let you log back in while you’re inside? You guessed it. You’re locked inside. Literally considering canceling my unit because of how horrible the app is.

The worst storage unit I have ever rented. We had 3 storage units while moving with rent totaling over $800 a month. They close at 9 pm. They will let you in, but won’t let you out. My 11 year daughter and I were locked in for an extended amount of time. When you are moving and working full time, you are not able to move things during normal hours. You have to put in late hours. Every other storage facility allows you access to YOUR property 24/7. This is not in a bad area of town so there’s no reason why it should not allow 24/7 access. The icing on the cake is that they decided to do the black top of the entire facility and not notify anyone they would be locking the entire facility down and not allowing you access once again to your property!!!!

Public storage fees. Hi, I have been a Public Storage customer for over eight years when I first got my unit I was paying $258 as the months went by in about a year to two years the rent went up to almost $800 which I find very ridiculous. So I moved out of that unit and rented another unit same size a month now six months later they have already raised my rent twice. I don’t understand you guys don’t do any up keep off the property but you guys raise the rent continuously I find that you guys are nothing about money I don’t care about your customers. I think it’s time to find another Storage company who, hopefully treats their customers better than Public Storage. Still no answer from anybody from Public Storage

Rude Employees. Your employee Robert is rude and disrespectful. The way he approached us last night because according to him there was a complaint about bugs in our storage was rude. There are better ways to approach people. He made us open the storage to check for bugs and according to him to he had to supervise and sweep the storage. After he saw the storage didn’t have any bugs his tone changed. He is not my boss to approach me the way he did so unprofessional. He didn’t sweep or anything my mom had a jar of honey and she accidentally dropped it and he looked at it and stated we had food in the storage and I told him we had a lot of stuff but none was food. He said he would clean it which we didn’t ask him to do and he didn’t clean it at all. I have seen rats coming out of other storages and I don’t see him doing anything about it. We lost track of time and he yelled at my daughter for being there and threatened her that it was her first and final warning she had to be out by six. Other people came out after us and we asked if he yelled at them and they said they saw him but he didn’t say anything. Yes, we were at fault but why raise his tone and why isn’t he fair with everyone.

Can not ever get up elevator to my unit.. It seems every time I go to drop off or pick something up from my unit, the elevator doesn’t work. I am disabled and can not walk up the stairs, which they knew about before I rented the unit. When I try to contact the office, it takes a long time for them to get back with me, then it seems like they are upset with me & tell me I am not their only customer, which I know. I live in Keller, TX. and travel quite a ways to come get things I need & would like to be able to get to my things, without having to sit in the heat of my car waiting for the manager to, “get around to me”. You can’t miss me I’m the one who looks like a wet sponge.

Frustrated. Ok, I have a storage space in Chanhassen Mn starting June 1st of 2022. Since I have had the space the overhead door does not open fully to have access. (the door is visibly broken) my first issue was it got stuck and I couldn’t get the door back down to secure my valuables. I called the 24 hour access number to see how I could get help? (from the on-site Mgr) Well after waiting 45 minuets with no call , a nice person helped me get the door back down. To this day I still have not received a call (or follow up) to check on my emergency issue. So, I go up to the location and the Manager was there and I told him of my issue and he walked over to the Unit with me. The door went up a little farther but still visibly broken. Two weeks later I had to retrieve important docs, same issue… door will only raise up 2 to 3 feet. I had to sign a document that allows someone to access the Unit and fix it. This all happened Sept 1st… an hour ago I went to check on it.. it’s still broken, and the Manager is USE LESS. Not sure if he actually does not know what he’s doing or doesn’t care? Make sure if you rent a storage space go check if the overhead door is operable first. And stay away from Chanhassen, you will have ZERO help .

Consumer beware. This location over is safe and clean for the most part. There’s at times a lot of transient foot traffic, staff can be rude if you try to access your unit during the last hour of the day and they even try to deny you access stating last entrance is at 5:30 despite them closing at 6. When scheduling a move out you’ll receive an email stating what to expect but what they don’t tell you is that they do not refund money when moving out. If paid July 1st and moved out July 3rd they will not offer you any kind of partial refund nor will they warn you not to pay the entirety of the money when scheduling the move out. I think this is a terrible business practice and If this has happened to you I highly suggested you dispute the charges with your bank.

Poor Service. I have been using this unit for almost a year and it has been nothing but grief. The only reason I am still here is what it would cost me to move as I have a large unit. The lights in my unit do not work & have not since I moved in. You changed my lock due to “maintenance work”. I have now gone back to my unit & the lock has been changed again but your people claim they didn’t change it. Their only solution is to pay a lock cutter and replace my lock. Additionally my pricing has change multiple times in the last year with no reason. Your service is terrible & I have passed this along to anyone that has asked me about storage. My girlfriend just moved everything she had from another of your facilities because she had issues as well.

Going down hill quickly. Been at the same facility since 2003, mostly under different ownership. The garage entry doors have always been an issue with many factors including but not limited to people trying to drive through closed doors, mechanical issues, etc. The issue now is, it takes much longer for repairs to happen. Glaciers move faster than the repairs happen. Another issue that is new, is that the place is a pigsty now. There’s constant garbage all over the floor, the carts are broken, and when tenants leave items laying in the hallways or elevators, they were there for extended periods of time. I never see management, and the clerks behind the desk seem to be too busy eating, reading, or playing with their phones. A very unprofessional business. If I had not gotten a great deal pre-Covid I doubt I’d still be using this facility.

This facility was great!. But since it’s been bought by Public Storage I’ve experienced nothing but faulty access to the facility. The facility remained unlock with doors open for several days after acquisition. Accessing the building through the app is a joke. It hasn’t worked correctly at all. Standing at the elevator it doesn’t matter what button you push. It raises the garage door but never allows access to the loading dock doors or elevator. The management office has been closed every time that I have tried to go in and present my personal renters insurance information that adequately covers my belongings at a better rate than their mandatory one month subscription to the company sponsored agency. In addition, they immediately raised my rate forcing me to sign a new leasing contract with them instead of honoring my current lease that had not yet expired. They removed the carts on site that assisted tenants with hauling items between their vehicle and their unit. The only thing that this facility has that keeps me from moving is covered load-in and load-out areas protecting your belongings from the elements during bad weather.

Rude office mgr. The facility is nice newer building but wow the current office manager at the maplewood location takes the cake! SO incredibly rude and unprofessional. She does not care and yells and swears at customers for no apparent reason such as the day i was there and saw a very pregnant woman parked in the unloading zone. Miss Rude yelled at the woman she couldnt park there because other trucks were coming at 400pm! (No signs posted saying so. The pregnant woman asked what time is it now and Miss Rude said 300 pm. The pregnant woman said i will be leaving in 5 mins! Nope! Miss Rude tore into her swearing about nope she must move her car now even though 1. It was only 300! 2. The pregnant woman was parked in correct location and 3. There were no signs stating no parking due to xyz! 4. There was absolutely NO need for the office manager who is representing your company to have sworn at the very pregnant woman who looked like she was in tears and likely having a bad day. Just SO not necessary! I like the building and location but I really wish mgmt would do something about the current manager. Just shady character - customer beware.

I used to be very happy. I was once very happy and even loyal and proud to not only rent from public storage... But I also worked for a company that we had the contract and maintained the lawn and landscape for all Dallas and Fort Worth Public Storages. I wasn’t upset with them when as happens from time to time they get bids like most do from other companies and we got underbidded by a labor force company who didn’t do as good of a job so Inalways kinda hoped you’d call us back. But anyway, that didn’t upset me as I understood since it was done at a time where our collective economy took a nose dive. But I still remained loyal out of feeling connected. What has me down is I first rented out of an much needed on the spot storage unit from divorce and happily got a unit for $70 a month. Well, life happens and things don’t follow our plans and even though rent steadily increased I had to move in with my parents to take care of my dad and could work less and less then my mother also and I worked to pay my bills and now my unit is $170/month. Now, I can go online and see units offered for so much cheaper and understand that the rent should go up some. But a happy medium between $70 and $170 would feel like I’m appreciated for being such a long time tenant. Ya know. Anyway, Thanks for listening. And I know my money whines are by my own doing for taking care of my parents. But such good parents deserve it. Especially all we’ve been through.

North Oak grove storage facility Milwaukie Oregon. We as bussiness owners where very GREATFULL to move in after we have barely made it due to the Covid 19 pandemic, hours at your facility where open till 9 pm it was great! Now because your low on people we are forced to lose lots of bussiness because we have no access after 5pm on weekends and 6 on weekdays, need those operating hours back PLEASE. Maybe a security gaurd for after hours or something but please at least let us have access reasonably till 7 at least please. MOST OTHER FACILTYS IN THE AREA ARE ALLOWING GATE ENTRY TILL 7 pm Please do something.

No cares in the world. I’ve been with public storage for years now, and this past summer someone rammed into the gate leading into the storage area and it took a good month for the gate to get fixed, and the whole time the gate was broke their was nothing stopping anybody from coming and going out of there. But on top of that the place closed up very early (5pm), which it’s normally open until 9pm which is still to early to close if you ask me. It says that there is a live on site manager which there isn’t. And during the early closing it made it very hard to make your payment if you didn’t have there app. You would think they would have offered some kind of discount that month to everybody that was renting during that month, but nope nothing was offered for the inconvenience.

This is not a good review. Worst game of cat n mouse I’ve ever seen they did not honor their promo for first month and charged my card a prorated half a months rent I never moved in I went and seen an smelled the faculty and immediately cancelled via messages thru support contact and revoked there authorization to bil my card I never moved in they even sent me a notice that I had not moved in to unit and had not secured it Yet they still charged. Y card less than two weeks later for a months rent not even the amount advertised then they have played cat and mouse with me n messages and voice mails since now they claim I owe them two more months services but rember we still to this day have not been able to connect on the phone hmm convenient yes? I canceled the thing less than a week in and .. nah ain’t happening I’m having to involve my bank and the authorities to deal with this now This was hands down the dirtiest facility I walked in in broad daylight during normal open hours no one to be found anywhere to talk to and cockroaches just out for a leisurely stroll in the lobby across the floor in front of ya

The ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever experienced.. From day 1 I have had nothing but problems, they had an issue 1 time because I froze my account do to identity theft and even though it was at no fault of my own still they blocked my account from being able to make any payments electronically and forced me to have to go in the office to make them in person. Now being I manage a store that is next to impossible considering they are not open when I go to work and closed by time I get off work which meant that I pay much more than I should due to late fees and Lien fees etc. No matter how many times I attempt to resolve the issue I get absolutely no help whatsoever. Then I have been overcharged in which the district manager initially told me he would refund the next business day and then denied it the following day. I can’t get in my storage and can’t manage to get in contact with anyone either. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone

Don’t store anything at 1870 Arnold Industrial Place in Concord. Public Storage in Concord (1870 Arnold Industrial Place) has virtually no security. There are no cameras in the halls, and no security at the perimeter doors. I was robbed blind on Nov. 19. The thieves easily sawed through the lock on my unit and took five guitars and four amplifiers and other musical gear that I owned. Total value about $25,000. They also took vital sensitive documents that will likely end up on the dark web. Moreover, the main gate was broken and wide open for weeks with inconsistent “watching” the gate all night by some unnamed person (who may have been in on the theft). Several other “lockers” were also robbed on Nov. 19, but I suspect they had targeted mine primarily and the others were for show. I spent many years collecting those guitars and I am outraged that Public Storage in Concord made it so easy to steal them. DO NOT store anything here! You are much more likely to lose it! What a total waste of money and valuable instruments and memories and music. I will be posting this review in many places. You have ruined my life. I want all my rent money back and I’m going to move out the few things that are left as soon as I can.

Bad customer service. The people at the front desk Cory tried to be helpful. However I was very put off by Shanice who initially tried to be nice but changed her attitude for negative customer service after it would not work and I said I could go elsewhere. I was not impressed with the bad and I mean bad customer service. When I was asking about why the app would not open the gate. I was told it was not in there correct and they would give me access during business hours. I told them I put my motorcycle in there and I was given 24 hour access. They said really fast it was BUisness hour and I signed this. I get that but was also given permission for 24 as I park my motorcycle in here. If the app is not fixed next time I arrive I will be going to a place that treats me with respect and not attitude and bad customer service.

Won’t accept payment. Activated auto pay twice.. Revived a payment due notice. Called customer service . They said I activated auto pay on April 27th. I called my bank payment method no issue seen their card on file should be ok for payment. Yet today looked at my public storage app and it said my auto pay wasn’t activated so I went through the process again now shows auto pay active today is May 3rd. Customer service I talked to today dosent know why this happened. She said the auto pay comes out on the 3rd day of each month and she couldn’t explain why I received a late payment notification. I attempted to make payment today and it said payment not successful. Appears your system is not functioning. Can some one call me I would like to pay my bill but your customer service dosent know what happened. Funds are their and is the same acc that I opened the storage unit with.

Storage facility at Westheimer Dash Derry. This was the worst storage facility. The worst experience I’ve ever had with the storage facility when I moved in on the 15th I arrived and no one was there to help me. I had called and called because I couldn’t get my Lock to work and called at least four times. it was cold and raining and I had movers sitting out there waiting at a rate of $160 an hour. I have moved everything out of the storage facility and would have had it out before February 1 but they chose to change the doors and the locks without talking to me first yes they sent an email I have over 100,000 emails in my box and would not have noticed it until I was in there deleting old ones so I do not feel that I owe you for February. The place is trashy. Has piles of trash. They never pick up outside their big holes that you run your car through I do believe their people living in these storage facilities, which is also doesn’t make you feel very safe. I would like a callback please

Quality of unit. As of today I’m not satisfied with the way the door opens or locks they have not been kept up and it shows. They are very difficult especially for a middle-aged woman as myself it’s a struggle to open and close and lock those doors. I always have to take someone with me to help me if not im there for quite a bit of time trying to open the door myself and lock it. I was in Hawaii and received a call stating that my unit was not locked correctly and that’s because it was too difficult for me when I went to get my luggage from storage and without what was I supposed to do if I was in a totally different state? I’ve been told that they will be looking into it but they don’t know how long it’ll take for maintenance to get to the unit to take care of the situation I’m just praying that I don’t have to go into the unit again until it’s fixed to be in working order especially for the hefty price that I pay every month.

The right decision. I chose PS over CubeSmart and I couldn’t be more pleased. I spoke with Rebecca who helped me via phone to modify my reservation and save some on the monthly rent. While they wear a cheaper unit at another facility, the fact that PS had illustrations online of which space you would need, and Rebecca called me that day after I made the online reservation. The app is fantastic, as long as you are in range you can press a button and enter the facility (the only way to enter). Lisa at the Western Ave location was very helpful, having someone in the front office was critical, arrived with the movers and was unable to locate my unit. It is a big facility and I used the wrong elevator! Overall very satisfied with my choice, and look forward to using PS.

Needs new management… or maybe entire new staff. This place is terrible. Let’s start with management. Anytime I take my RV out, they call me. That’s fine, except I asked them not to call. This last time it was from Ashley. She said it was her job to call me and I asked her not to but she replied she was allowed to call anytime she wanted. She also called me “hun,” which I really don’t like and asked her not to, so she called me love and babe instead. I told her she was being rude and she explained she didn’t care. I also decided to speak with her in person and asked for her supervisor, she said I need to call corporate. I will. I also have a video of how rude she is. Now let’s talk about how much you pay versus how big of a dump this place is. Broken down and trashy vehicles, etc throughout, gates are constantly broken, storages leak and get broken into. DUMP. My rates went up to $200/mo to park my RV in this place. I’m going to find somewhere else and recommend that you stay away from here!

Very expensive!. Public storage units aren’t any better than any other storage units but they cost a lot more! We have had a large U-Haul unit for several years and pay $100 less than what we’ve ended up with at Public Storage. You have to be very careful with these people cause they tell you that the recant is only increased once or twice a year for no more than $10-20. Wrong we started finding we were paying more off and on with out any notice at all and the latest increase was for $50! The yard isn’t any cleaner and the storage units aren’t any better than anywhere else but due to health reasons we are stuck right now. Fifty this time what is it going to be the next time a hundred they must think they are renting apartments……….$250+ for a storage unit is bull crap especially when you’re on a fixed income and it gets raised without notice! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Better customer service attention. You should tell your employees about if a customer is asking something, please see direct to the eyes of that customer, last time I went to my office Public Storage to ask about the if entrance gate is not working, there were 2 ladies , but the one was answered never look to my me , she was answering at the same time she was typing at the computer, even when I said thank you , still she never turned her face to me. My English it is not perfect and I have accent in my language (Spanish) I tried to be focus and don’t become mad at that lady . Then, I had to ask her for her name and was the way she looked at me . I don’t want to say her name , because I don’t want that your employees be mad at me when I goes there. Better training on that way on customer service would be perfect to complete the good name of Public Storage. Thank you

Happy customer!. Amy and Joe were very very helpful. I had to get an air condition storage and they had exactly what I was looking for in a crunch thank you guys and very nice clean place air condition rocks they said it was 80° but it sure feels like 70° not kidding either way getting a ground floor at the last minute was huge. I just dropped my first load there and got out with five minutes to spare. Thanks again I have always been a U-Haul customer but I think I’m changing slowly, but surely to public storage place has not let me down yet. Thanks again!! Craig Franklin

Hasn’t been a good experience for me. I have a list of things that have gone wrong at this public storage place. My card was compromised and I had to wait 10 business days to receive a new card from the bank. Totally out of my control. I called to inform them of this they told me that they will make a note of it. I told them I didn’t want to get charged a late fee and was told it would be okay, that they can take it off if it’s applied due to my situation. So when I got my card I called so they could take the late fee off before I paid my payment. They THEN informed me, that they couldn’t do that for me as I haven’t had a unit for a year and that’s only available for people who’ve had to unit for a year. If I was told that before hand, I would’ve borrow the money from somebody to avoid paying $53 extra. Also, The internet barely works so you have to click “access” multiple times for it to work. The last time that I was there, it logged me out of my Public Storage account and I couldn’t get into my unit. There is never enough carts available for me to transport things in an out of my unit. The whole experience has just sucked here. As soon as I get a chance, I’m going to switch units somewhere else.

Terrible. Awful customer service.. Since day 1 I’ve had problems with this company. Started with them not being able to set up my online account. Eventually two months later that sorted itself out. Now that I have the account though, my autopay stopped working. I call my bank and they tell me that my the payment was rejected by public storage. Okay. I call public storage and the property manager tells me that this is probably a security feature on their end and probably my billing addresses don’t match up. That’s not true. My address on their app matches up with my address with my bank. So they’re just not accepting my my payment and going to slap me with a late fee because they don’t want to accept a valid payment. Do not do business with this company.

Upgrade. I went to The Ewa Beach Public Storage on January 8th to see if I could upgrade to a larger storage space and what would be the additional cost for a lager space. I met Wayne behind the counter and told him what I wanted to do, he asked if he could please see my ID so he could bring up my file and verify my present information and then he check the availability for a larger storage on the ground level and informed me that he one available but that he would have to set an appointment for the 9th at 1pm so he could inspect the storage and go over the new contract along with the transferral of storage space. Wayne was very professional throughout the whole transition and made me feel like a genuine vip! Totally impressed by his outstanding customer services and attention to detail. Customer service. I would like to say that this customer service reps here are very good. I love that they call you numerous times and they were able to remind you that your payments are due. They are always very polite for and very courteous, and they always help you in the best that they can. If this storage unit a 10 out of 10 they are perfect. May God bless everyone that has a part in the storage everyone that works there and their families continue to provide great service not too many places can do that. A lot of people call and complain a very few make a nice comment. I am glad to come in on the storage place.

HOPE IS AWESOME!!:). The on sight manager(Hope) was EXTREMELY professional, friendly, SUPER helpful and really knows what she is doing. Quickly had us set up and ready to go. I love the ease of entrance with the app and ability to pay our monthly dues through it. Movers were in and out quickly … one thing to consider, I believe Hope is the only one working there… so if she is in the back helping someone and you are new, there won’t be anyone to help in the front office … use the PHONE number!!!! 👍🏼 She was great about calling back quickly!

Rude employees. I can understand that a person has to do their job and collecting payments. When chose to rent.. it was the most difficult time in my life. I did experience politeness when I first rented. I did fall through some hard times but I’ve always bounce back and make sure that I pay my bills. but throughout the time that I have rented with your company your employees are absolutely disgusting they leave disgusting voicemails they have a disgusting attitude I do not like going into your office and I will not go into your office and I won’t even go there to change my lock as I do not want to experience any more disgusting behavior from your employees while today is the 22nd so I am 22 days late on my rent I have paid it I would hope that I no longer receive any phone calls from your employees I don’t even want them to call me to say thank you

Milwee St. I have used Public Storage for 20 years. . This particular one on Milwee was the worst experience I have encountered in all those years. For one there were never an available cart to put my belongings in my storage room. . I struggled every time I went there. I could not get an answer, never when I called, and I left messages for a few weeks, but never got my call returned . And when I stopped by Saturday around 1pm the lady in the office was rude and mad she has to work there. She refused to allow me to order a bigger space and just let me close mine. I knew I wasn’t approved for the move in dollar deal, but it should have not been an issue to rent a bigger room online and close my current one and the price was to expensive to rent from her. Public Storage needs to hire employees that want to help all customers.

Raise rates as soon as move-in. This place raises rates as soon as u move ur stuff in! I used the Public Storage in La Habra off Lambert. I definitely don’t recommend. First day move-in I went to the office and told them the outer door had damage & didn’t close or lock. Plus they didn’t give me the unit that I ordered.. They could care less about my items being secure, and they offered me a larger different unit, but they wouldn’t pay the difference . Not to mention, what were they thinking, that I could easily move all my stuff again just like that..!?! Movers are always on a time schedule … It’s already difficult if u have to store your stuff to make a move, but they didn’t have any customer service or stand by their agreement. On top of this they kept raising the amount by a lot and within a month or two! It was nonstop. My experience was horrible and if I could have moved my stuff outa there to somewhere else I would have!!!

Positive critique. While I appreciate the outstanding customer service (Francis) here at this location; the hours of operation can sometimes be annoying I would be happier if the access times were available later at night. Closing at 9:00pm is too early ,most weeks, and can be frustrating when I need to access my unit. But my biggest complaint is inside the storage area! The corridor lighting shuts off within moments! Literally the lights flicker on and off constantly and can be alarming when you are alone , working in your unit, and the lights shut off! It needs to be fixed ASAP.

Poor IT and worse management. I moved into my first unit 19 months ago at about $261 per month. Six months or less later my rent was raised to $331 per month. The manager was able to lower it back to $301 per month. 1st of April it was raised to $457 per month I relocated to another location. As I only had 4 weeks to move out or pay higher amount. Since I was to depart for 2 weeks vacation there was not a lot of time to move I am starting out with same size unit that I left but at $218 per month. Once management reads this I wonder how long before my rate is raised and how much. They seem to like to raise month rent over 100% each time At old location I was told it was MY PHONE that was the problem with phone access. Well it works fine at new location so it proves what I said all along. Poor IT department and issue was at Trinity Mills office not my phone I will end with a very positive on the manager of the Trinity Mills location. She was great and I will miss her

THE BEST STORAGE FACILITY. When you pull up to 5570 Airdrome Street Public Storage the grounds are clean and manicured. Even on the busiest days one would wonder how they maintain the grounds without a groundskeeper while giving A++ service to ALL the customers , I can sum it up with one word and that is “MAGALI”. She is the property manager that makes sure the day to day operations are done regardless if it’s past work hours. The responsibilities are huge yet she accomplishes her tasks with a smile on her face and is attentive to all her clients needs. THANK YOU FOR CARING ABOUT YOUR JOB AND CUSTOMERS NEEDS IT SHOWS “VIVA MAGALI”

Fantastically helpful. We went there, just to compare prices and they were less expensive than a place we already had and the lady there at the Belvedere West Palm Beach location was extremely helpful and patient with my mother ended up getting a unit and moved our stuff from another storage unit. They have an app that you can use to access the storage unit which is much easier than the place we left.

Elevator operation from app not working. I am unable to open elevators with the app. The box is detected, and a green open button displayed, but the elevator doors don’t respond. The front gate works most of the time, but occasionally has the same issue. Update: looks like the issue with the elevator is the close proximity of multiple door controls(within a few feet). The app usually opens the one that I do t have access to. The app needs a way to select from multiple controls. Not sure what the problem is with the front gate. Exiting works 50%of the time.

Albra McFadden. I am a senior on a fixed income and could use some understanding and support. I get my check in the middle of the second week of each month. That’s why I am late with my payments each month. Is it possible to change my payment due date? Doing so would allow me to sign up for auto pay and that would alleviate my payment problem. You did not answer the question, can you change the payment date? Responding just doesn’t change anything.

Simple, clean, effective..... For a brand new app it appears well conceived. Simple and reasonable intuitive. Since I just downloaded it 15 min ago and logged in. I haven’t really put it thru a rigorous test... but having clicked thru all the menu’s I haven’t seen any glitches ( though since I’m not actually at the facility I couldn’t text the apps gate access feature ) Thanks for giving me an alternative to going thru the PS web page...

Sedgwick. The insurance process that is grueling could actually pay you instead of insulting you. I’ve got seven claims that even one for a roof that leaked on my stuff for water, and the employee gave a statement because he saw it. I did the inventory showed receipts for the things I couldand the other were for burglaries showed the Sealock police report inventories receipts, manuals, everything and I’ve never paid me once out of seven claims I think we called that Fraud

Very grateful for Public Storage staff. The Public Storage in Modesto is very clean and safe. The staff go out of their way to help and answer questions. For example my dept card had been compromised and auto payment couldn’t be taken out. I had to wait for my new card to come. I called for help because it was going to be past due. Kim walked me through the steps to resolve my problem. She was very kind, understanding, efficient and helpful. We need more people like Kim in our world. 🙂Grateful

Public storage pool. Manager has been extremely helpful! The facility is very well kept I feel secure having my belongings there. Security is well put I really like the hours of operations and hours I can get in and out of my unit. Downloading there app on my phone number makes it easier to make payments, see my statement, get in and out of storage facility with out hassling to have to use lock pad by gate.

Extremely helpful!. Shenita what is the most kindest, helpful person I’ve ever experienced at any storage unit I’ve ever gone to. I’m at a difficult point in my life right now and some unexpected things had happened and I needed to get something bigger and was worried about not being able to find one and she was able to do it for me she went above and beyond to help me!! That is what I called perfect customer service skills! Thank you so much to her for helping me out in such a horrible time of my life!

Site Manager. I been with Public Storage in 475 Tully Rd for almost 8 years and the Property Manager is fantastic very helpful and keeps the property very clean, I personally I give her a top rating for been so helpful on renting a space. But her personality and guidance makes the whole situación on renting or buying stuff from office to make your moving experience very easy and less stressful I want the owner of this place to know that she’s an excellent Property Manager and very efficient!

Very dissatisfied. Customer.. I have rented a unit from for a very long time now . I used have two units that I paid on time if not most early . This place is the worst on customer retention i have ever dealt with. They make the loyal customers that pay on time pay the highest rates for the units and if your new you’ll get the unit over half the price that a loyal customer pays. It’s the loyalty customers that should be given deals on the units but if say anything to them just say they just sale the units to someone else. What kind of customer service is this . I would never recommend this place and I’ve heard from many of customers from here please do yourself a favor don’t rent from here

Disenchanted. What a horrible experience. The place is not secure. There is a hole in the back fence. My trailer was broken into twice. The second time someone used a grinder to cut the lock but no alarms went off. My rent went up 37% in 18 months. The staff allowed someone to place a damaged car 2 feet into my space and it wasn’t moved for 12 months despite my requests. Lastly, I vacated my space on the first of the month and missed the deadline by 20 minutes so they charged me another $89 for the month. When you ask to talk to someone in charge no one steps forward and no one calls you back. Do yourself a favor and store your stuff somewhere else.

What a great experience!. I probably don’t have to tell you, but moving from a five bedroom house and downsizing to a two bedroom condo is very stressful. The guy I rented the space from, Steve, is an absolutely awesome individual. Not only did he walk me through what size I needed, pricing, etc., but he went the extra mile to show me the unit, show me how the app works, and show me how to hold open the doors. I highly recommend public storage and if you do use the one in Laguna Hills make sure you ask for Steve. He will take great care of you. Thanks Steve!

Location must be enabled when you first install app. For those of you having trouble with location services being turned on, you must reinstall the app and enable location services at the initial start up. If you don’t the app does not have the option to turn on location services later. The support team never got back to me on this. I just figured it out on my own. Other than that the app is ok for paying bills, renting additional units and checking the status of your account.

Total screwups. I notified them of my ending the rental well over a month in advance of the day of termination. I stopped in several times to the facility during normal business hours to follow up. I don't trust cyber space. No staff. I followed up via a phone message. I received a call from someone claiming to be the temporary manager because they had no staff. He thanked me for my patronage and reminded me to shut off auto pay. He assured me everything would be taken care of. Now I am receiving constant notices of late payments and late fees for a space they could have rented a month ago to someone else. This company is impossible to contact. It disregards its own processes. I would not rent from this company again if you paid me to rent there

No Sweat Storage. I left storing my camper until the last minute. The customer service rep ( I wish I could remember her name), was so helpful. I was able to do the paperwork online and then meet my rep on the day of the move in. She showed me how to set up the storage app so I can pay my bill and and use the remote to open the gate. Easy peasy! I love this company and they will always have my business

App Barely Works. I have no complaints with my actual unit, but this app needs a major overhaul. I understand needing to be connected to WiFi for the gates and doors to work, sure, but I’m nowhere near my unit area and connected to good WiFi and it still won’t log me in so I can pay my bill. The access buttons rarely work when in the elevators because the WiFi doesn’t reach that far so you’re stranded in a hot elevator waiting for the app to work and that’s if it doesn’t fully sign you out. I think the app not letting me log in or booting me several times before working is the worst part of it. Love Public Storage but your app is awful.

So satisfied, we left CubeSmart to go to Public Storage. After being abused by CubeSmart for seven years, we decided to make a switch and go to Public Storage. The online sign-up was easy. Courteous staff answered any questions. The ease and stress free entrance with Bluetooth. Mobile device makes getting in and out of the facility a breeze. I would recommend public storage over any other storage any time

Excellence Customer Care. I recently started using public storage at 200 Telegraph and I am extremely satisfied with my experience so far. The security measures they have in place are top-notch, which gives me great peace of mind knowing my bike is safe and secure. The staff has been incredibly kind and professional, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this public storage location to anyone in need of a safe and reliable place to store their bike. Five stars all around!

Good for Location. Even for the location I really like this storage unit, I haven’t had any issues with anything. Always easy to get in and out. Do wish there were more trolleys to store your things. Sometimes you’ll get there and have to wait forever for someone to finish to carry up your heavy loads. Other than that I really have no issue with this location.

Billing sys doesn’t work. Originally set set up as auto pay but got a notice of nonpayment so I made a payment. So I ended up paying (twice)and it showed paid with a 2nd as credit in online account records. Then 2 weeks later, I get a late fee and shows not paid. Even though it’s the same card used for the 1st deposit payment that went through no problem. (There is/was $6-10k in the account.) Now it won’t even allow a credit card and is requiring a bank routing & account #. I tried calling but waited on hold for 20+ minutes before I got tired of waiting. Fix your billing system before you charge late fees for something that is your fault.

Payments and customer service. Your customer service is outstanding at your Burnt Tavern office, in particular young woman. There’s one young woman whom I speak with. We always end up laughing over my error in forgetting to change my payment information. She’s wonderful. PLEASE recognize her for OUTSTANDING friendly, sweet, and patient service. Friendliest service without being condescending. She always seems to work weekends. Sorry I cannot remember her name. She called today, October 2, 2022. Thank you for your time.

Larah! - Broad Street, Fuquay-Varina NC. Larah has gone over and beyond on multiple occasions. She has superior customer service skills. Nothing seems to be a bother to her, although it is obvious that what is being asked of her, and or what is being offered by her is a bit out of the box. She does the upmost to help the customer within the scope of her authority. As a former small business owner, I would have her on my team any day! Keep her at all any cost! Reward, and award this employee!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great customer Service. Great Customer service is hard to come by , so when I have to acknowledge & appreciate it when I see it ,came into Public Storage on Fulton street in Brooklyn to ask about a storage unit and inquire about the size I needed, the manager Jeremy , I hope I’m spelling his name right , but anyway , he was very polite and patient he explained to me all my options and notified me about their deals, I am definitely using Public Storage to store my property Thank you again Jeremy 👍👍👍

Payment issues. My account was on rep pay with my credit card. It charged it on 6/2 for my regular payment because I was on auto pay. I saw that it was charged in my statement. Then a few days later a manager called stating my payment was late. I’ve called and been on hold forever and left messages at the facility with no call back. I went to my storage unit and the one down the street and there was no one there. I was pushed off autopay and charged a $20 late fee. There seems to be no way to contact any person for customer service. I’d give a ZERO star review for the facility and the app. I have resigned up for auto pay and paid the stupid late fee. If this happens again I will be cancelling my unit.

Injustice. I have been with this company for 2 years and believe me this last month had been the worst. Violation of policy and added fees that were unjust. I paid with my credit card and they tell me I used a routing number with my card. This was totally false and then charged me a fee when it was billed wrong, then notified me 13 days later the payment failed. I called and tried to rectify the problem and the young girl was so respectful and helpful but my issue still not resolved. This has been a living nightmare! You can never get the issue resolved. I can’t imagine how customers feel when dealing with this company. I think my next step is legal action. Tired of this mess. Has anyone ever had problems with this company? Please let me know.

Auto pay False charge. I had an issue and needed to pay before the due date. So I paid thru the public storage app. I got the green success pop up and didn't think about it again until I got an email saying my payment was late. I first called the bank to see what happened. They told me the payment went to public storage and they returned the payment. Sending the money back to my account causing my account to be late. This is a charge that should not fall on me but I'm sure this company is doing this as a tactic to cheat people out of their storage units. I should be able to pay on my terms as long as it's before the due date.

Great Service. Keith who runs the Public Storage on Gandy Blvd in Tampa was very professional, friendly and helpful. I had originally rented the unit online but when I got there to view the unit I realized that it was too small. Keith helped me get the correct size storage unit and within minutes he switched over the lease. The facility is very secure and I like the ability to open the gates and doors with the app. The place is very clean and I am happy with my choice to rent with Public Storage.

Most Modern Facilities in Las Vegas. First, the app. Easy to use, well organized, works flawlessly (so far). Pay bill, facility access, account details/monitoring and more. The newest facilities are equipped with controls to use your phone for access to huge indoor climate controlled loading area. Big enough for several largest moving trucks. All interior and exterior doors are locked and accessible by app or passcode. All lockers are indoors, many are temperature controlled. Friendly, helpful staff, clean facilities plus access to disposal for small items.

Good location but…. Disappointed I’m disappointed that they raised my rental fee exorbitantly without my knowledge, catering to the high demand of student’s moving in or out of the area. The facility itself, while ideally located, is subpar compared with other Public Storage locations that I have used. It took them close to 2 years to replace the burned out hallway lighting making it necessary to carry my headlamp when accessing my unit. I also have been approached by panhandlers and homeless folks who are using a unit in the property. I always feel bad when I see them

Great Service!. David, at the 1852 La Salle Ave, Naperville,IL location, was extremely helpful every step of the way with renting our unit, accessing the unit, and keeping us informed of important upcoming maintenance of the location. His insightfulness made us very comfortable with storing our belongings at this location. He goes above and beyond to help with any issues, while providing great customer service, always with a laugh and smile. Thank you David! Keep up the great work!

Stupid refund policy.. I purchased a lock with cash from public storage for my storage unit, 20 minutes later I found an old lock and did not need the new one. 20 mins. later I tried returning the lock to the same person I purchased the lock from without the receipt (I forgot it in the car that was being stored) which would have been a 20 min ordeal to get the car back out then 20 more minutes put it back in (with a 40 min. turn around) Then when I finally returned the lock with the receipt they wouldn’t refund me my cash back and would only put it on my card on file. Not Happy at all.

AutoPay issues on your end. The customer is always wrong? I’m amazed at how badly you’ve handled your own mistake. Passing it onto the customer? This is clearly a profit over customer operation. You know how hard it is to get stuff out of storage so you look to ding the customer at every opportunity. You must be making an Absolute killing but you don’t offer basic customer service like to cancel a late fee that should never have been charged. Autopay wasn’t working properly and you expect me to drive to the unit and pay every month. It’s a pity…you actually have some kind staff at the location. It isn’t their fault. See above

Useless to me. Maybe this app works great when you have an account, but I closed my account out and it didn’t help me. I closed my account on 2 of the month. I was told if I was vacant by then I would not be charged for the month. I got my email stating I closed the account, two hours later I get an email stating I was being charged for the month. Tried calling the local number but they refer you to the app. I can’t start a message on the app. Then the people at the National number said they could not verify if I was an account holder because I started the account when it was Beyond Storage. Really bad customer service.

Great staff. I will definitely rent a space at this facility again. Not only are they friendly, but they make it very easy and effortless when it comes to storing. They’re very clean and keep up-to-date with maintaining their spaces. I look forward to doing business with them again in the near future. their pricing for the amount of space that you get is better than most places around as well. Hope this was helpful for anybody who is looking for a space to rent. Public storage is my to go to.

Rent prices need to be put under government control. Without local, state or federal oversight on rents charged by Public Storage and other storage facilities, outrages rate increases will continue. Use of these facilities is out of need, not want, so suggesting that if we don’t like it we can move elsewhere is an indication that the company has little interest in providing rents that are at a fair market value and instead are intent on squeezing every penny possible out of the customer. After a 20% increase from last year I now find myself desperately searching for an alternate location for my belongings. I need to get away from this company that only values vomitous greed.

Well!. Pro: it’s gated cons: Rent has gone up 3 times in the last year started at $130 now I’m at $197 monthly when asked why they have to keep up with the competition, but when you check around the competition is lower and has 24/7 access I park my car here so if I get home late after 9 I’m stuck without transportation until the next day. And now within the last two days my app keeps logging me out making it hard to open the gate even when I try the access on the website it says ( account not recognized)

Top 1% of storage renting places for military!. The owners are the best freaking people in the world. The two times I had questions about rent prices they helped me and did everything they could to help me answer my questions. As I was checking out after renting for 10 months the guy at the front gave me some great life advice and was just super nice. 10/10 will continue to rent from Public Storage solely because these two!

Easy process and clean facilities A+++. It’s been a very pleasant experience. I first got one spot online, and I realize that I need to upgrade it cuz was not what I was expecting and they help me (office) to go to the next upgrade in the same time that I realized that, within minutes. The staff is super friendly and helpful The only little thing that I will complain about, is in order to leave the facility in one of the drive in buildings the keypad post won’t detect my phone signal to open the gate. But pretty much the rest work but that one don’t for some reason, again very small complain. Let me mention one more thing, they don’t carry heavy duty boxes! Just those weak ones, for the nicer stuff you have to run to HomeDepot. I hope this was helpful to someone. And God bless.

Public Storage 183rd. Very pleased with this storage area on 183rd and Cicero. I had attempted to try three others and was turned off with bad customer service or out of office for 15 minutes and will be right back. I sat there for half an hour. So I am very please with the young lady who is definitely an asset to this public storage at my location . Also I pay online and it is such an easy payment method without going into the office. A very pleased customer.

Leak in the roofs. A few weeks ago it rained, most of my stuff ruined. Advised manager and she went took pictures , all she said file with my insurance company, which I did. Manager said she would put in for an emergency repair not to worry about the remaining stuff. 2 weeks later rains again, I’m here and once again all stuff wet from leak. Can’t file 2 claims on same month, insurance company does not pay out cost of storage rent payment and I’m sure Storage Company won’t give me a refund, now moving all my stuff to another storage company down the street and having to pay again this month. Only been here 25 days. Not even a month . I called today and no return call. I’ll download pictures and videos later.

Unhappy storage customer. Super upset I wrote a good review for the lady at the Mountlake Terrace 220th storage place because I went in there and there’s another guy in there that is absolutely there and prove that she said it she told me she gave me the room for $160 because of the nice reviews I left her I go back in there two weeks later and she tells me it’s 230 and I showed her the receipt for proofThat she told me it was 160 and she knows she did anyways I don’t like liars I don’t lie I even came out and told my brother the day she did it all happy and how nice that lady was for giving me the discount and then when it comes down to it she didn’t do anything for me that’s not the way a company should be ran or have someone working for them

App buggy doesn’t enable location services. I just downloaded the app for iPhone and when I logged in and clicked the lock icon to setup phone access to the gate it prompted me to enable Bluetooth. That’s fine. I enabled bluetooth. Then when you try to access it it requests you enable location services. This is where the app breaks. While my location services is activated the app itself needs permission to access location services. THE APP DOES NOT ADD A RULE TO ALLOW PERMISSIONS FOR LOCATION SERVICES. The screen it pushes you to to enable location services does not include an option for enabling location services. This portion is coded incorrectly.

Shouldn’t be that difficult. The facility is fine and the people are nice, but the app is horrible. Gate access doesn’t work at all and I have deleted and reloaded the app several times. I’ve had workable garage door remotes for decades…why can’t Public Storage get their gate access to work??? No excuse for this. Someone from support contacted me a couple of weeks ago about my problem, but then I never heard anything else. I still feel like this app should have the necessary technology to be able to provide gate opening functionality.

Sincere second thoughts. Because I was deploying, I chose Public Storage to store my household goods due to their convenience of location, as well as prompt and friendly service. The facilities were clean and security seemed adequate. However after a few months of auto payments, I noticed my monthly charges increased by almost $50 without explanation or notice. I checked my contract to be sure I wasn’t mistaken. I’ve reached out 3x times via the messenger service on the app, and despite the app stating I’d have a response within 24 hours, I’m still in the dark on why my rates spiked. Again, I’m deployed and can only wait for a timely response that seems to not be coming.
