Update -- Borked on the 5S. Like another user pointed out, this works if you blow out the app and download it again. The bummer is that you have to set up all your sessions again. ----------------------- Love the app and use it all the time for work. Unfortunately, the current version doesn't work on the new phone. Please fix it up so I don't have to ditch it for another app!

Solid app. I've used many RDP apps for both personal and enterprise-level servers, and I've used this one for about 6 months now. The full version of this app is at the top of my list. Though it has a few quirks, it's by far the best I've seen yet. Good speeds, includes all the standard options, has never crashed, easy to use, etc.

Need 4.6 version!. NLA needs update like you did for RDP Lite version. Can’t connect and RDP Lite only lasts 5 minutes.

This Is a great product. I tried the free app and liked it so well I bought the product. The negative recent reviews made me stop for a few days but after trying every other RDP app that was free, I decided this was the best and I assumed I could always go back to the free version. I manage over 100 servers. I can connect to all of them. I also bought Mocha's VNC product. Well laid out, easily configurable and sensible in the way it works. So far it does everything I need it to do. Highly recommended.

RDP works great!. RDP very quickly connects and with the macros configured I'm done very quickly. This app works reliably every time. Once after an upgrade it didn't work but that's because it didn't install properly, so I deleted it from my iPad and reinstalled, works like a charm again! Works from my iPhone too! Thanks!

LOVE this app for RDP. I've been using the iPhone version of this app since it came out and have loved it and sent the developer an email asking about an iPad version as soon as I had my iPad. Today was like Christmas when the new version came out!! I am a sys admin so being able to access my work PC from anywhere is a life saver. Even when I'm home, being able to grab my iPad to log on to fix something at work instead of the laptop is so much easier. This app is so intuitive to use, navigating and zooming is a super fast and a breeze, I have never used a better mobile RDP client. Even though the notes say it isn't for server OS's I have never had any issue using this app to get to any Windows box that supported RDP including Windows 2003 servers running various different flavors like datacenter and small business editions. In a nutshell this is an awesome app that I highly recommend to anyone that needs remote access to a Window machine. And if you have a Mac you need to remote connect to, their VNC app is just as great and I use it exclusively to access my Mac mini at home that doesn't even have a monitor :)

Caveat: Turn Aero Theme Off. My desktop is a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I did discover that you must use the Windows 7 Basic theme if you want to use this app. Also, it is a good practice to Not Hide the Taskbar. Other than that, I'm am quite pleased with the iPad connectivity to my Desktop. $5.99 - Well worth the price.

THE iPhone application I was waiting for.... I was debating buying MochaSofts's paid VNC viewer application for my occasional (no networked computer available) Windows XP desktop access, but that would have required that I buy a VNC server (the free VNC servers didn't work for me). But now I don't have to. The interface is about as good as you could expect without a real keyboard. Speed is pretty good. My only real complaint is that the special key keyboard has a >> key to move to an additional set of keys, but no << button on the next special keyboard to get back to the first special keyboard.

Works great for quick-hit jobs. It does the job nicely. I wouldn't want to use it for hours on end, mainly because the screen requires a lot of swishing around with the index finger, but for the occasional quick-hit job, to investigate or fix a minor problem, it works great. The free version does a good job too.

Works as designed--Flawless. I'm not sure what those one-star ratings are for because this app and the lite version worked from the start. I'm guess those folks had other issues like firewalls or host settings. Surprised that it worked so well on a 3G connection. WIFI? Very fast. Whatever limits I had with the Safari browser (flash, java apps, etc) can now be solved by hopping onto RDP. Nice job on the app.

OK but.... I have used this app since 2010. I've seen it through some good and bad times. It used to be updated more frequently. Now it seems developers are neglecting the app. I'm not saying it doesn't work, but it has been 7 months since iPhone 6 and 6plus came out and we still don't have native resolution support. Can you please add this?

RDP--Amazing but . . .. I've only had this app for a week, and I am pleased with it. It worked the first time and everytime after that (I've used it perhaps 10 times). So as far as the app goes, really nice. If I have a complaint about the software itself, it would be the awkward multiple keyboard arrangement. So I have to switch from one keyboard to the other to get the function keys or the cursor keys when I am typing something in the desktop. Very awkward. And the mouse button to manipulate mouse actions is just NOT consistent with the touch screen type interface. If I could figure out a better way, I would complain bitterly: "What's the matter with these guys, why didn't they . . . ???" But I can't imagine what the solution might be, so I am not complaining very loudly. Nice try, but I'm not really happy with the arrangement. And I still have to work with the limitations of remote desktopping on a tiny screen (better than any other smartphone screen, but still limited and limiting). I really couldn't do serious work. I could get to my desktop, check on a few things, move a few files around. But trying to edit a document or call up the email application on my desktop so that I could send an attachment to pick up on my iPhone, for example, was very difficult. That's the nature of working remotely from a tiny screen. Not the fault of the software, I think. So if you must remote in to your desktop, this software will work.

Works excellent in iOS 6 & iPhone 5!. Rdp works smooth and flawless in newest iOS 6 on iPhone 5 optimized 4" screen. Wish the keyboard wouldn't take up so much space or be a bit transparent perhaps?? Other than that, very happy with this app

Great app. This works great for me - both on my local network and across the Internet (note: to reach a machine behind a router from the Internet, you'll need to forward the port on the router). I'm connecting to a Windows 8 machines ine fine, but only to the desktop (I use Start8 to get back the Win 7 start menu). I haven't tried accessing the Metro menus remotely. I recommend trying the free version first to be sure it works for you, but the upgrade version is well worth the price. Later - also works on my new iPad Air 2 once I deleted the app and reinstalled it - before reinstalling it, it crashed on opening - I had restored my new iPad from an earlier iTunes backup. My only complaint is that the app doesn't work with a bluetooth keyboard. If you have a bluetooth keyboard connected, the app's keyboard icon won't pull up the on-screen keyboard but it doesn't accept the bluetooth keyboard input either. Have to disconnect the bluetooth keyboard to get the on-screen one.

Great app. I am very happy with this app. It allows me to access my databases from the kitchen (look up recipes - addresses etc) that I have on my PC in another room. I have trouble with a couple of applications on my PC but will contact those vendors..mostly the app works perfectly - oh don't forget to make sure your PC is not asleep (it won't wake it up).

Doesn't work anymore. It worked great before the iPhone 3.0 update. After the update it crashed everytime I opened a keyboard. I shutdown and restarted and that solved the problem with the keyboard, but now it crashes a few seconds after login. I've tried to login to three separate servers. Wait until they fix this problem before purchasing.

Works better then the higher-priced RDP apps. While I loved the lite version of this RDP app when it came to shelling out for a full RDP client I originally purchased iTap RDP as it came with support for RDP to Windows Servers (not just workstations). While the iTap RDP client has a neat interface and more options then the Mocha RDP, during the day when I'm at the mercy of the ATT 3G network half the time it can't resolve my dyndns hostname (even turning off check connection and enabling 3G support did not help). To troubleshoot whether this was app or network related I would try with the Mocha RDP lite on my iPhone and that could resolve and connect fine so I eventually purchased the full version of this one, which is half the price of the iTap client, and it connects 100% of the time when I'm at work, which I can't say fo the iTap client for whatever reason. Love the Mocha stuff!

Almost good.. It connects to PC's as expected using the RDP protocol. The interface is a tad clumsy. What I like; 1. The only RDP app that will let me use a HyperTerm session. No other RDP app can do this. 2. Allows me to work with a crash cart terminal application on a KVM. 3. Macros What I don't like; 1. No WOL using VPN. Have to use a different app for that. 2. No global setting for using a wireless keyboard. You have to set that for each session 3. Limited amount of entires. This is a PRO version right? 4. Seems to be an afterthought application. 5 Silly errors when I'm on VPN. This is a PRO version right? So I do know what I'm doing. This was going to be my main application, but since it has such issues with VPN and WOL it's heading into the bit bucket.

Best RDP app out there for the price. I tried a few other RDP apps but their performance just doesn't match this one. With this app you can enjoy super smooth fast graphics performance even with 16-bit colors and the wallpaper On. Other apps force you to turn off wallpaper, reduce the screen size or the color bit depth to achieve decent speed. This one does it all without having to sacrifice anything. Awesome. I tried the free lite version and then I decided to buy the full version. It's well worth the price. Other apps are much more expensive and don't perform as good as this one. The "motions" feature that scrolls the screen using the accelerometer is an annoyance more than anything else. First of all it doesn't work the way it should. Sometimes the screen will stubbornly get stuck and won't scroll where you want it to. I've used scrolling with accelerometer features in other apps and even in other phones (non-iPhones) and it never scrolls where you want to or it is hard to stop the scrolling. So it's a feature that is better off not included. I'm glad I can turn that feature off. But anyway I'm giving it 5 stars because the keyboard disappearance bug has been fixed.

Wake on LAN stopped working. Wake on LAN used to work on this app, but I have not been able to make it work anymore. I know it is not my PC on the network because I can wake it from my laptop. Please look into why it doesn’t work anymore on IOS 13.2.3.

Does what I want. Works perfectly have not tried with bt kb or mouse. Love the fact I can use this on my iPhone with no extra charge. Also for those of you who can not connect after update go to the settings and turn on using old protocol. Should work like a charm afterwords. I don't want ignorance to bring down a great app at a great price.

Love the app but.... I agree with the other reviews...For some reason the app crashes. I had to re-download and then it opened fine. Luckily I had all my settings available on another device that could open. It would be nice to be able to export the configurations as a backup for the situation. Outside of this, this app has been great over the past couple of years and I'm confident that they will fix the issue in a timely mannor.

Cannot Connect. Does not connect. Does not say why. No support. No troubleshooting. A refund would be nice.

Black screen when connecting to windows 2008. Microsoft client works just fine with tat host. This bug has never been fixed, totally worthless for me now

Works as advertised. This program is the cheapest full featured rdp client on iTunes. That said, it works well and suffers only occasional performance hiccups. It does crash, but rarely. 4 stars for working as advertised, but 1 missing for lack of Vista Business/Ultimate support. I hope such support will be added in a future version, but if you work with non-vista clients it is definitely worth 5.99.

IPad OS7. Great app. I understand nothing is prefect but for the price you cannot beat it. With all the control keys I have no problem with any platform. I control over 50 systems in 7 locations and have not used my laptop since I got the full version. The only thing I wish it could directly access 2008 server.

The best Remote Desktop. This is the best remote desktop, no other RDP works like this, even the one from Microsoft is difficult to move around the screen and select things. This new version fixed the connection issues for me by selecting TLS 1.0

I had the same, but support fixed it!. I had the same crashing issue and Wrote to support. They responded quickly. They said to take copies if your connections, remove the app, reboot and install again. Works perfectly for me!!

Satisfied customer. Look, no software can ever fill every need. This app let's me check on my work related items on a win 2003 server so I can have an evening with my family instead of my laptop. I've tried the lite version, it works as advertised. The pro/full version let me see my disaster recovery app was still running on my DB server so I could finish my movie! Thank you.

Works great with no issues. The app (lite version) worked so good without any issues that I purchased the full version with the added features. The full/paid version works great as well. I use it on a regalur basis. I have connected locally with no problem and remotely via external wifi and 3G. Having the right click for the mouse is a very needed feature for me. Not to mention, the F keys. My only complaint and would give the app 5 stars if it supported 128-bit encryption or higher. Currently, the app supports 40-bit only. This is OK while internally connected on my private network but not too safe externally. Hope to see this in future updates especially in the full version (paid).

Remote Desktop. I really like the ability to remotely access my work desktop computer with my iPad 2. My only comment is that although there is a setting to allow the use of a Bluetooth keyboard. I couldn't get it to work while remotely connected and had to disconnect the physical keyboard and use the virtual onscreen keyboard. Hopefully, there will be an update that will correct this minor problem. Otherwise, it is a good app.

Works as advertised!. This app works great with my Vista Ultimate computer. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to open the port in my router's firewall, but that is not this app's fault. I was prepared for a significant lag time, but the lag is minimal. I do recommend the full version if you have Windows so at least you can right-click with the mouse.

Desktop Remote. Works great on Iphone 4 and Windows 7 Ultimate, even through my wireless network, all I had to do was us the Port Forwarding option in my router and Pow, there it was. I was also very surprised how well it worked 3G.

Has potential. This app has a lot of promise, however there are some things that need to be fixed. For example, sometimes the shift key breaks so you cannot make capital letters. Also, special characters such as the pipe symbol "|" and underbar "_" get mistranslated as "/" and "-". These are particularly annoying when you have complex passwords to enter. The performance of the app is good. The scrolling feature is a bit weak--positioning the scroll dot is difficult because there is an offset.

Absolutely Fantastic. I use this application at home and at work. I either use it to access my home server, or use it to manage New Jersey Transit's comms network or some other crazy system. It always keeps up with what I need and never falters. Very well thought out and exactly what I needed.

Works Great. Have been using it for a good amount of time now and this is a great app. Wish the google remote app I use when not on the same network worked even half as good as this one.

Incredible!. This app is incredible, it has finally made it possible for me to stop lugging my laptop around when visiting our remote sites, now I can VPN back to the home office, RDP into the server and do what I need to get done. If you use RDP at all in your work then this app is a must have, I can't wait to see what they do with in on the iPad!

Awesome Application. I use Windows Remote Desktop to log into my office computer from my home pc and I wanted something like that on my iPad. I read many reviews of the various alternatives and there didn't appear to be an obvious choice....until now. This app is perfect and incredibly simple to set up and use. I really like that they offer the free lite version because many of the alternatives aren't inexpensive and I wanted to try something before paying some of those prices. I had the lite version up and running in about two minutes. It was exactly what I wanted. I probably could have been content with the lite version but I wanted to upgrade so the developers did get paid for their awesome product and the price was incredibly fair. The upgrades in the full version are nice and this is a great product that dramatically enhances the use of my iPad. Thanks!

Business Owner/Operator. As a former commercial software developer for both Windows and Apple, I found this app to be quite impressive. Many kudos to the people who put together this wonderful app. It has proved most invaluable when away from full screen, and I cannot say enough about well this one is put together. Great job!

It works well but I have one complaint. Using this for my business, I need a host list bigger than 20 entries, I have over 100 computers to manage, and when I emailed the developers, was told that most people don't need more than 20 entries. Since this is the 'pro' version, I need at least 100. Fix that and you get 5 stars. Other than that, it works well..

Success!!! Deleted, Rebooted, Reinstalled!!. I followed the Ver 3.0 instructions & deleted, rebooted and reinstalled the Ver 3.0 App and now it works great!!! I thought I had done this before, but apparently not! I have used this RDP App for about two years and it is fantastic. The new Ver 3.0 keyboard is more user friendly!

V3.3 crashing on iOS6. Update from April now causes crash on launch, so app is useless. Can't even get to my settings to transfer info to another app. Please fix. UPDATE: After contacting MochaSoft tech-support, they suggested removing and reinstalling the app. (Remove, power-down, restart, reinstall). It will now start without crashing. I do however need to re-input all 12 of my remote desktops info, but at least I can use the app again.

Makes my Ipad useful. Breaks you out of iPad prison. It worked flawlessly from the start and only burped once with an upgrade. Then they fixed it and it has worked great since. Great product. Can't do without it!

Fixed and works like a charm again. Fixed so now works with latest NLA connection on win 10. The best RDP app by far!

Highly functional, intuitive, worth it.. This most recent update added a tremendous amount of polish to the app. All the menus and options are well laid out. ALL special keys are usable including all function keys, ctrl alt and delete, arrow keys, even combos like alt-f4 have single touch buttons. It handles resolutions beyond 1024x768 better than before. New features include sending wake on lan magic packets and custom resolutions. One aspect of the RDP protocol that is not implemented is bringing remote sounds to the iphone, but that doesn't matter to me. What does matter is that it STILL does not make use of VPN tunnel on iPhone. Another app I use called iNet asks you if you want to work over your VPN when the tunnel is connected. I desperately hope the developers of this app can implement something similar.

Get it!. Used the lite version first. Worked well but needed the mouse and function keys in the full version. Saves me having to drag my laptop around to keep connected. Best money I've spent on an app.

Works fine for quick access. App works as well enough if I am just checking in or doing some basic stuff on my Win7 machine, but for whatever reason right click breaks the app and mouse controls. Mouse button remains in right click mode for the remainder of the session, requiring a reconnect of the session. Otherwise, this app is pretty solid for a decent price. Using this on an iPad 2 and iPhone 3G.

An absolute life saver for use with a Windows XP Host. I use this to connect to my work PC on the go. It works flawlessly every time. The expanded F keys, Shift, Ctrl, Tab, ESC, Drag, et cetera make the remote session fully functional as if I were at my desk. I initially missed all the configuration settings and used the 800x600 default resolution. Once I changed to 1024x768 I found no screen sliding was necessary. this is just awesome. The only thing I think it needs is a config option to allow it to run even when the iPad screen shuts off.

Fantastic App Now Supports Vista and Windows7!. This app was a lifesaver in my switch from Windows mobile to iphone. It worked so much better for me that my windows mobile native remote desktop. The scrolling around the page was so much slicker, you can set it to remember your user name and password and quickly login to your xp computer and now also Vista and Windows 7. It has sweet little keys for the alt, control, function keys, and control alt delete sequence keys and it has some nice mouse functions and macro capabilities. I hope in a future version that they will enhance the macro capabilities to allow control, alt and function keys to be used. I am hoping they will get it to support my Small Business Servers, but it works awesome for me since I use xp and Vista, and probably Windows 7 soon. They have pretty quick technical support responses also. I love the new multitasking capability. I would like to see them update this app to allow copy and paste from iPhone apps into the remote desktop interface and to see sound supported.

Very Good!. This is a very cool little app. Works perfectly with our Windoze 2000 servers and nice and quick over 3G as well :-)

Quality software that makes my life a lot easier. I have used this app for years and I've recently started using its corresponding VNC client also by Mochasoft. This RDP app has saved me so much time and solved so many problems. The interface is superbly designed. As an example just try doing a right click on the remote machine in the other RDP apps available, then try it in this one and see how much easier it is. I've tried many RDP apps and this is easily the easiest to use, for me. In combination with Open VPN, I can administer a whole heard of servers that I manage, from anywhere I have my phone. This app is on my 1st home screen and has been for over 5 years. It's definitely essential to the way I work. The only small improvement I'd like is the ability to group connections in to folders, but I accept that most users probably don't need that. I probably have a lot more connections than is typical.

Excellent. This program is superb.

Simply works!. Downloaded App, entered IP address of Client PC (Win 10 x64) and connected. No need to install any client software, very clean and simple but still has all the advanced options I need! Well done.

iPhone 5 does work. You just need to delete the app and then download it again :)

Crashes on load. Used to be a great app, but current version won't run on my latest iPad (model a1458) and iOS (6.1.3). A let down given I'd forked out for it.

So far so good. Trial version was good, bought the full version and no problems so far. Can access my pc from anywhere in the world where I have a wireless connection.

Amazing App. Easy to install and works exactly as described. If you want to connect remotely to your XP or Windows 2003 server from your iPhone then this app does the trick. You can view or update your PC remotely.

Good program when it works. It works great on iPhones but not iPad. It also doesn't work on the 5 or 5S. When it used to work it was great and I loved it. But now it doesn't work. The developer has changed the icon twice during the time my 5S has had it installed but it still won't work on it. It also doesn't work on my iPad 3rd gen. The developer needs to work on keeping it functional rather then on keeping the icon up to date.

Not bad, major bug though. I've been using this app to process reports after hours and has been working well. The major problem at the moment is that every now and again the keyboard completely disappears and there's no way to make it reappear. Tried logging out and recreating the connection to no avail.

Best SysOp Tool. Update to the interface is very nice. It is more responsive and loads quicker. Now has an easy to use menu that allows you to organize everything as soon as the app loads. And it doesn't take any time to load either, it's ready to work when you are.

AVOID - Not compatible with iOS 7. The app will crash immediately upon open when using iOS 7. Terrible app!

Bad software. Software is not very friendly and cannot connect to Terminal Server 2003. Im seeking a refund.

Fails on iPhone 5 after latest update. Still closes after start with latest iPhone 5 version

Works perfect. This app conected to my windows 2000 server and worked fine!! This is great I can now check my POS system anytime for updates right from my iPhone.

Not easy and practical to use on windows. I'm using RDP to free up drive on win server 2003 however this is not easy taking me ages to select files in a folder

No RDP over VPN. I cannot RDP to a server over VPN, so what's the point of this app? This should be listed in the 'limitations'.

doesnt work on laptop. app doesnt work on my laptop as it is a home verison. Be carful before you buy it...

Needs upate. Needs to move with the times as in needs to support windows 2008. then is worth more than 1 star/$$$ so try free version or try elsewhere.

Awesome, but not working with Windows 8. I use this app often and love it. However, it doesn't seem to like my Windows 8 (Release Preview) machine; the screen is just blank with random lines.

Works very well over VPN. I tried out the lite version for quite some time, and both versions work fine over our VPN connection - the paid version allows extra control features, which allow for a less frustrating, more PC-like way of working with the Remote PC. For users having trouble over VPN, I would highly recommend that you check your VPN restrictions or maybe firewall blocks that may be preventing it from working. Mine works well to our systems via VPN, and I have full login and control of all our systems directly from my iPad. It's very useful. I also bought the iPad VNC client for iPad,and that works well via VPN to access our many OS X systems. Both apps are well worth the cost of purchase for me.

Beautiful App, Great Update & Vista Support. Thanks for the update. Love the new colours and noticed better stability! If possible please add 'left-right' mouse scroll (to mimic moving the mouse scroll wheel left/right on some mice) as it makes it easier to navigate. Another wishlist is support for 1920x1080 resolution!!!

Works as Promised. Just installed the ap. Works well to my Windows 7 desktop. Just wish there were more WiFi hotshots lol as G3 just cuts it. Highly recommended :)

Stopped working. Been using for years After latest windows update stopped working Within last 2 days??? Message host has closed the session Reconnect?

Awesome!!!. This is the best software in the AppStore. I am using this to rdp control a number of servers that I support around town. Absolutely priceless testing tool. I can now test rdp when i only have access to the computer I am setting up. I also use their VNC version to control my Mac. Brilliant brilliant brilliant. Now I want an iPad so I have a larger screen but still very usable on my iPhone.

Does the job well. I used the lite version in combination with the on-screen keyboard built in to XP/Vista/Win7, but eventually missed the Windows, Ctrl and Alt keys too much. To the user who reported the buttons go missing, just shake your device to show/hide them, or turn this feature off. Great app - highly recommended. Codenix.

Constantly disconnects. App constantly disconnects, never had this problem with the lite version, maybe they should of fixed all the bugs before making people pay.

I love this app. I use this on my iPhone 4S, ipad2 and iPad mini. It works well and is easy to use. I use it to connect to my win 7 and XP machines at work. The faster your internet the better the experierience.

Works great. Great remote desktop implementation.

Terrible avoid at all costs. Mochasoft must be splipping. Paid $5.99 for the app based on previous experience with mochasoft vnc products. Application simply does not work. Mochasoft must have fallen on hard times or changed ownership to attach their previously-good reputation to this product. Makes me avoid all other Mochasoft products going forward.

Purchased App but not available for download to iPhone. I purchased this app a few days ago while using my iPad. It worked great & seemed to be my best option for RDP. But when I go to the App Store in my iPhone to download this app, it is not showing as available to me in the cloud. If I download, I will end up paying for the app again. ?????

Excellent app for my iPad. Set up took a while to figure out, but, mocha email support helped me get it right. This app is surprisingly awesome, especially for the price. I especially like that where my figure goes, the mouse pointer goes, unlike other apps where the mouse pointer is always positioned above your figure, which I read takes some getting used to. This app works great over wireless and 3G, very fast. Would love to see customizable keyboard options for future releases.

Removed Functionality - Want Refund. This app was extremely good at letting me log into my remote server to manage services and check on problems. Unfortunately a recent update removed the ability to connect to windows servers. Developer complaints about licensing issues don t matter to me. This app was represented to connect to servers to manage them and then once the developers discovered they were doing something wrong by not having the license they pulled the functionality. I feel the developer was selling a product they shouldn't have and by removing the functionality they cripple the app for people using it for the features they advertised. Since I had no way to know I was purchasing an app that had not properly licensed it's contents I would like my money back so I can support a developer who doesn't pull the rug out from under paying customers.

Great product until this version. It does everything I need and is more intuitive to use than others I've tried including Microsoft's new release. However for some reason I can no longer connect to some of the servers I support over the Internet. In fact after installing the latest update the program crashed as soon as I started it until I deleted it and reinstalled it on my iPhone 5s. Hope you guys can fix it quick. Thanks for the years of great use and previous updates.

iPhone 6. After upgrading my phone to an iPhone 6 with iOS 8 the app starts and immediately shuts down. I paid for this app as it was the best at the time to monitor Windows servers. I'm so surprised that you have not updated the app for iOS 8 yet.

Network Admins Avoid This Version!. Avoid this version at least. Removed support for Windows Servers? Will not connect to Terminal Services Server?!?!? I used this app daily for regular server maintenance on the fly and now it's completely useless with these new version drawbacks. Add to the fact that Caps/Shift NO LONGER WORKS, I can't even log into my PCI compliant devices or software!!! Mocha what the *bleep* where you thinking releasing this lemon of an update???

App crashes since new update. App closes immediately, cannot use anymore. please fix asap its the app I use most on my ipad

F keys. Nice app. over all. I have been using it for connection through my server to an as400 unix system and I really need a shift key to have access to the upper f keys 13-24.

Crashes. The program keeps crashing every time I try to log in. It's quite annoying.

Great app. This app does everything I need it to do. The only reason it is getting 4 stars is that it does not handle French Canadian keyboard layout which messes up my Windows 7 keyboard settings every time I use it (Forced to use English keyboard with the RDP app). When this keyboard setting is added, it'll get 5 stars.

Works great. Not really sure about the other reviews but I have had no problems at all connecting to my Windows 7 laptop through our corporate wifi network at all. Everything works great even when I am moving around. I am using it on a 4th generation iPad.

It works!. And it's easy to get up and running. A bit too slow for a lot of work to get done, but they all are. Maybe there are ways to speed it up, and I'll find out soon. I think this is the beat of the bunch thus far, and I'm just happy to get one that actually works. I'd like to be able to reboot my remote PC but haven't found out how to yet. There are no doubt other things I'll wish for as I get further into it, but I can recommend this app.

Great App. Works well with Win7 and Dlink router. For $6 this is worthy every penny.

Pick another one.... was trying to save money when buying this apps instead of the other one at 10$+.. Now that I have bought this one, I still need to buy the other one since this one wont work correctly. Right click "wont work" and moving a window is a real PITA. So yes..unninstalled and choose another one. The one that I should have take in the first place. Thats how you can save money too... Buy the other one right away even if this one is cheaper. Sorry guys... "Wyse" is the way to go for now. Hope this help a couple to avoid the same mistake as mine...

Shift Key and no CAPS??? (v2.9). Okay... this app was awesome before the last update. Now, I cannot connect to any of my remote desktops or servers because my passwords contain capital letters and niether the CAPS or shift keys work!! What gives?? Please fix this ASAP! Thanks!!

Installed and worked... nice job guys.. Some of the graphics are a bit "developerish" ... but this thing just worked. And the mouse control, given that you're mangling touch onto a Microsoft mouse, it's good. Maybe some more subtlety around getting the keyboard or changing mouse modes... but I'll get the hang of it. And the screen rendering is fast and beautiful. Personal moment of triumph, watching a Flash website on IE on my iPad! I hope that doesn't get this App banned. :-D But more practically... accessed Quickbooks from our Accounting machine and it was fast and usable. Worth the $, I wouldn't hesitate.

No longer works with servers. Do not install if you are connecting to Windows 2000/2003 Servers. It no longer connects to these servers (not sure about Windows 2008). This used to work perfectly and was a 5 star app. Now it is near useless for me. I own User Client Access Licenses which allow me to connect to my Terminal Servers from any client, so the 'licensing issues' that MochaSoft says stop Windows Servers from being supported is incorrect. The responsibilty for licensing is on the server, not the client. There is a toggle now that 'allows a connection to a server console session' which would solve the issue for me BUT a warning message is displayed when you switch the toggle on. When you accept the warning message (the only choice) the toggle resets to the off position so the toggle is useless. C'mon MochaSoft....please fix this. I've consistently recommended this app and have had all our iPad users install it. Now I'm going to have to recommend something else like the (free) 2x Client. The 2x navigation isn't as nice (in my opinion) but at least I can connect to my servers.

Oh No!. My update crashed the system too on my iPad 1 ... Tried to fix it and ended up loosing all my configurations!? What the he?? I had many custom config with MAC adds, etc. and now I will have to recreate them all ... If we get a version 3.3 that actually works! Very disappointed ...

It works for me. I use it regularly for work and manage touch screen of my restaurant remotely wherever I am.

So so. The app becomes unresponsive very often. I'm forced to restart the app to get it in a good state again... Fix the bugs please! Particularly mouse clicks!

UPDATE Works but can be difficult to navigate. I've been using this app to remote connect to my work PC, which runs on Windows 7 Professional 32-bit, and it has done the job quite well. Not perfect, and certainly not an ideal substitute for connecting from another Windows 7 pc, but good enough for what it is. It can be a little tricky to navigate around the desktop, and even on wifi the reactions to clicks and gestures are somewhat slow, but it still allows me to see my files and interact with my pc as if I were sitting in front of it, which is pretty neat for being a phone application. I was having trouble connecting to my home PC (Windows 7 Professional 64-bit), but after a couple of back and forth email with their technical support (over the course of only 24 hours from when I first sent my help request), I got it working perfectly. The app itself is a 3.5 stars, but the quick and helpful customer service give me reason to round up to 4 stars.

Lost Right Click. Upgraded from an older version but now I've lost right-click functionality for my PCs, which used to work before. I'm using the paid version. Customer support wouldn't investigate citing unsupported OS on remote PCs. Not sure if others have had this same issue? This used to be a good product but now I'll have to look for another. Would give 0 stars if possible but have to give a minimum of 1. Poor update and support.

Nice app, but no /console. It seems to work very well, even on 3G or Edge... but with one glaring omission - I can't seem to find a /console switch when editing the connections - so there are some servers I can't connect to (as I need to join the session in progress).

Idea after crash. It would be nice if we could store connection settings in the cloud. Reinstalling would not be such a hassle anymore.

Rdp was reliable / crashes every time. Used this app for 6 months with no issues, now it seems that it crashes every single time I try to use it and need to reinstall. Not efficient. Please fix this app. It use to work great

Good RDP Client. This is a good RDP client. With the 2.4 update, some nagging issues (like slow Del key response) have been fixed and the client is getting even better. This is worth your $6 if you spend a lot of time using RDP for work (which I do).

It's great!. It's worked perfectly for the couple years I've had it - although please fix it on iOS 6 on iPhone 5 :) it keeps crashing. I use it for business.

AP. The App worked great to connect the Ipad with Windows. The two machines must be in same VLan to work. I recommended for user with some network skills.

New update won't start. Crashes. Have always enjoyed using program. But after today's update (9/27). The program will not start. This program rocks.. Well.. Except today :(

Mkie. Been copying complaints about failure to start, just happened to me on a new air! Only way to recover was to delete and re-install, losing large database of remotes which had to be re-entered by hand, a laborious process! Need to see an update, addressing this or if happens again, I'm gone! Shame, I've been using it for years!

Needs some improvement. They need to include sound to compete with other RDP apps and they need to improve the speed of connection as well. Even on a good wifi network it can be pretty choppy. Please fix Win Server 2008 R2 Log-in issue also.

Works pretty good. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it works pretty well.

B. This is the first RDP program I have found that allows easy scrolling within programs.

Made my personal life easier. This app has made my life easier. Because of this application, I can remote into work and get some stuff done. 5 stars!

No longer crashing. After updating to iOS8 it would crash in open. I deleted and reinstalled and it works again.

Do not purchase v2.4...broken. The most recent version of the app (2.4) has a critical bug. If the screen is rotated while the app is running, the menus disappear and stay missing until the phone is powercycled. This makes the app utterly useless. Avoid until this issue is fixed.

Test, test, test (and then test it again). Please test your software with all versions of the iOS. iPad 1's cannot upgrade past 5.1.1. Stay late this week, fix the crashes, test on all devices and roll out a version that WORKS. If you can't do that, roll back this version so your users can get back to work.

Not good for Business Users. Does not support Server login so is worthless if you are trying to get to a network domain. It is indicated in the list but misleading as it should be made prominent. If you are logging in to your own machine with Administrator rights then it may be for you, otherwise don't buy it.

Junk!. I originally bought this app to connect to a variety of servers at work. Initially it worked great then they had their update come out and now they say we won't pay for the license needed from MSFT to facilitate connecting to terminal servers so now this is useless! I'd love to get my money back since that's the only reason I paid for it to start with but I don't guess that wish will do me much good now. Stay away!

No support for windows server!. I bought this app so I could login to my office server. This server rund win2008 r2. I only realized after I purchased this app that this Os was not supported. If you need win2008 server rdp, Do not buy this app.

Awesome. Does everything I'd expect to want to do from my iPhone. Upgraded from the light version to gain right click functionality.

Works great!. This works better than I thought it would. Enable remote in Windows XP, Vista, or 7 Pro or better, and it works within the LAN, or open a port in your firewall. And no "host" or "client" to install!

Best thing since sliced bread!. Was using splash top and never liked having to run something on my desktop. Frustrated with the lack of flexibility, but this software is awesome!!!

For home network, almost perfect. App is priced right and works great for accessing my home network pc's. Would be a solid 5 if app supported sound on remote pc's.

Works great with Windows Home Server!. Make sure you get your WHS and router to work thru VPN or you will not be able to connect from outside your local network. Very satisfied!

Totally dissapointed. It didn't work on my Ipad. It doesn't work on Windows 200x because it is an expensive license, I didn't know about the type of server I was going to connect, so my advice before buying any remote app, my advice, please check with your IT Manager about the server you are going to connect. I lost my money on this one!

2.8 downgrade. Delete RDP, connect your i device, stop sync, select apps, select RDP, it will reload your old version on your device

Worked Great Until iOS8. Been using this app for years, sadly it hasn't been updated since iOS was released last month, it crashes on load ever since.

I can't Connect whit My server Win 2003. I pay for this application, if the updated version 3.0 I prevented me to connect to my server, should receive a warning. Upgrade now and I can not use the program, my problem is not the cost of microsoft's patent, want the previous version again to be able to stay connected and they do not give me that option.

Might solve your crash problems. If you're experiencing problems with the app crashing after updates try removing the app and re-downloading it from the iTunes store. That solved my problems.

Love it. The mouse controls are more confusing than they used to be, but this is still a very handy tool!

Remote Desktop - RDP. This app worked perfectly. I entered my ip address and port number and was working on my computer in less than 1 minute.

Get it!. Used the lite version first. Worked well but needed the mouse and function keys in the full version. Saves me having to drag my laptop around to keep connected. Best money I've spent on an app.

Great app need 8 support. This app works great love how easy it make it to run windows on my iPad. Lacks Windows 8 support. Have no t found a way to open some of the menus in windows 8. Needs to have windows recognize it as a touch device not a mouse.

Desktop Remote. Works great on Iphone 4 and Windows 7 Ultimate, even through my wireless network, all I had to do was us the Port Forwarding option in my router and Pow, there it was. I was also very surprised how well it worked 3G.

Makes my Ipad useful. Breaks you out of iPad prison. It worked flawlessly from the start and only burped once with an upgrade. Then they fixed it and it has worked great since. Great product. Can't do without it!

Works, if you delete old one. I've been using mocha RDP for several years. When i installed this latest version it wouldn't work. But then I uninstalled and installed the new one and it works fine now.

Great App. This is a great app, and I was amazed how fast it was to set up, once I added the ip address it was up and running within a minute. I'm running Windows 7 Pro and it works great with it.

Works well. This is one on those apps that I use everyday. I used to use Splashtop, but I like how this app does not require you to download anything on your PC. It is very reliable.

Okay. It could do with a few improvements particularly around the speed of connection but it is still workable, hopefully these guys are updating a lot and it will get better and better with time.

No NLA Support. So, it's my fault for not reading, I suppose. I never suspected that a paid app (a $6 one?) does not support Network Level Authentication. Are you kidding? NLA has been the recommended setting since Server 2003. No, I'm not going lower my security to use software that I paid for. Windows doesn't have much security, as it is.

I like it. Have been testing it for several days and it works fine.

Program excellet, IPOD not so much. Try to RDP into some window servers and get around without a real mouse, talk about a pain in the you know what.

Love the app but not working on 5s. The last update is causing the app to crash on opening of iPad. I don't want to delete and reinstall as I lose my connections. Please release a new update ASAP. Running 7.02 on iPad 3. Tried rebooting and normal troubleshooting.

Was crashing but reinstalled!. If you're using a iPad mini (or new lighting adapter ipad) and it crashes every time you start up, delete the App and reinstall.

Very good app. If you know what you are doing, and you need basic quick access to your home pc, this will fit the ticket.

Works perfect on os4 and ipad. All the problems others reported seem to b resolved now.
