If you need to make good edited videos, this is the app for you!. I am a rail and train photographer, and after a day of Railfanning (train spotting) I need to edit my videos. With this app, it allows me to save videos that are insanely long. I haven’t had to edit a video longer then 30 minutes, but this app will definitely let you save fully edited videos that are longer then 30 minutes. It is a simple editor to use and does the trick other editing apps can do, but allows you to save videos 5X the length other apps allow you to save. If you need a editor to edit and produce videos with a great outcome, Get This App!!

It’s good for editing, just there’s some issues I’m having. So let’s start off, when I first moved to PowerDirector and claiming it to be my main editing app. For about the first month or 2 it was going good, but then weeks after I bought premium I started experiencing some issues with the app. #1 Sometimes if I’m looking for a Sound Effect or Adding new clips to a project or go to the main screen of the app, all sounds and music would then become corrupted in the project. 2. It’s super laggy, and yes my phone works fine, I’ve checked stuff like this ever since I first got an IOS Device. It’s been bugging me cause I payed money for this just for it to not work at all, if any developers are out there, please respond with some type of help.

Timeline and chroma-key. This app is supposed to be compatible with my ipad pro, but the chroma key is not available. I bought this app primarily for the chromakey. I have other movie making apps that I like as well, all I need is basic editing. I really wanted to explore a little more with chromakey and its ability to mask and blend, but the chromakey feature is NOT AVAILABLE as indicated. The timeline feature is annoying. If you have ever used CyberlinkPowerdirector desktop version, it is a little bit different. I wouldn’t say it is a lot better. Each version has its ups and downs. So far, I am not completely satisfied with either of them. Each has features that are annoying to use. The videos make it seem so simple but it really isn’t. In order to add a layer, I’d have to add the content in order. If I were to add it after I had already made adjustments and edit the footage, I can’t just add content without everything getting moved and adjusted out of the order I previously placed them. Too bad I paid for the whole year instead of just trying it out for the month. I want a refund!

I started playing around and knew nothing about it until…. …15 minutes later, I was layering video clips, my music, amazing motion graphic titles and so much more. I studied digital multimedia at the University of the Arts, and I can tell you that this is by far the best app for any artist or simply someone who wants to put together something simple. I’m already working on a short film. I have to set a timer to stop and remind me to go to bed, or I will stay up for honestly, 5-6 hours later than I did before.

Haven’t actually played yet but.... Okay so people are super hating on this thing but I’m going to use it and tell you guys what I think about it after. Me and my best friend make videos for just each other nonstop we are always doing it and my friend told me I should try to get to her level of editing (which is AMAZING) so recently I have been downloading many editing/animation apps to help me. We mostly make Gacha Club (used to use Gacha Life) videos so it’s hard to make the characters actually move well, and my friend CAN DO IT OMG SHES SO GOOD! Also if you are the friend I’m talking about you will know it by this: œŃīøÑ. Final words of wisdom: heavy œŃīøÑ is good œŃīøÑ.

This won’t work even though it says it work on my device. This is my second time getting it and every time I open it it says it’s too old or something and it says on the App Store that it is compatible for my device. I am a gachatuber and i’m currently using KineMaster because I don’t know how to use cute cut and I want to see how this app works can you please fix this? I am trying to make an animation meme and KineMaster isn’t working and again I don’t know how to use cute cut.I am on an iPhone 6 and it won’t work. I don’t know the order of the dates they came out😅. Either way i’m just going to give it 3 stars Incase you fix this bug (or whatever it is).have a nice day/evening!

Update - App & Support are amazing. A great app has to have three functions ……………. 1) Prompt Support response (which equation any business to get customer service in long-term customer retention) ….…………2) Regular updates, bug fixes and new features. (They listen - The customers feel the caring of the producer of the app, which builds strong loyalty) (regular updates allows new users to know that the app is not updated in the developers are on top of it) I personally look for apps that I download now, to see if it’s been a few months or a year since an update. I get a little nervous nowadays…………. 3) Training to help customers navigate & use the app. ( Even processes to some of that may seem simple.) They have exceeded my expectations! 🏆 Thank you 🙏🏼

Will not stop crashing. Please don’t get this app. Ever since the ai updates, this app has been crashing non stop, to the point it won’t even work for more than a minute without crashing. I can’t get anything done on PowerDirector anymore, which stinks because it’s otherwise a really good app. I paid for the premium version, but I think I’ll have to switch to another software because this is practically unusable. I used to be able to do long class projects on PowerDirector no problem, but now the app can’t handle even 20 seconds of video. Until this gets fixed for good, please use something else. It’s unusable even after clearing cache and updating it, which was Powerdirector’s own suggestion to stop crashes. Take your money elsewhere!

Great editor but many bugs. This editor is great for both beginners and professionals, there’s many options and many tools to play with, however there’s also many glitches that make editing a way longer process. Sometimes, the audio disappears half way through editing and the only way to fix it is to scroll all the way back to the beginning of your project and play it to get the audio back. There’s also lag spikes that occur in between videos. I make music videos with this app so it’s a bit of a nuisance having to deal with these issues, but other than that this is a great video editor and I highly recommend you try it 👍

Like the app, but there are glitches!. I always make little “fan-made” music videos on this app. One of my biggest issues is that, randomly, the audio of the video goes silent while I’m making it. Muting and unmuting the audio does nothing, so I have to do something extravagant sometimes like restart my entire phone to get it to work again. Even then, sometimes, it doesn’t work. I can’t figure out the trick to it. Would just be great if this issue was fixed! Also, would love if we were able to add more than 4 layers onto the video! I can make it work for now though. Thanks for this app! I want to be a professional video producer one day so this is a good choice of app to learn basics with :)

Review. I love using the app, it’s almost perfect for the things I do. Make a few tweaks and I’ll drop 5 stars. 1st is the price, it’s a little pricey for the premium edition, I know you guys have to recognize that, a few transitions and sticks don’t justify the price to me. Make some real changes and I would gladly pay $40 a year. I would like to see 3 things added. 1, controls so you can change the pitch and tone of voices on video you create. 2, some filters so you can kinda hide your face a bit. I know that’s a strange request but I do Indy wrestling and I wear a mask, so I would like to make a video and be able to add something to hide my face, if that makes since to you guys. 3, blank title blocks, no design, no nothing, just a blank screen so you can add text to. That’s it. Think you guys can pull that off, if you can, I’ll buy the premium. Thanks

I love the app but can’t use it on my iPad. So it says that it will work on my iPad, then it doesn’t, it keeps saying when I open the app that it will not work on my iPad this to me is very stupid I wish you guys could fix it otherwise it’s a really good app and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to do this kind of stuff. This is really important to me I am an up and coming film maker with no money right now the best camera I have is on this iPad if you guys could fix it it would mean the world to me, some really hard times we are all going through and soon I’m gonna be an adult right now I’m turning 16 I just want to have something that will allow me to reach my goals in life cause you never know if your going to have tomorrow.

Not As Good Anymore. Man I used to love this app. It was my go to app. Worked flawlessly. But for some reason as time has gone on it can’t handle the power of making long videos. And I’m saying around 3-5 minutes long. I used to make 10 minute videos before with no issue but now the app can’t seem to figure out where the audio is supposed to start and it just skips like a CD player. I have an iPhone 15 pro max so and everything is updated so it ain’t the phone. It becomes very frustrating when trying to sync up audio with video because it doesn’t match properly in preview cause it can’t render it and then when you finally get it to match it downloads it all out of sync. It’s great for short form but honestly with other apps out there it’s not worth going for this. The PC version is so much better but sometimes you have videos that you can make from phone. Just not what it used to be.

It’s TERRIBLE!! I had to finish project with iMovie !!!. ALMOST UNUSABLE! I have been using this app on & off for over a year now. I had a yearly subscription and it recently expired so I signed up for a week free trial. It used to work so good with some occasional bugs but now it is almost completely unusable. When you start to edit a video, you cannot get it to play through the timeline when you make changes. It will eventually play but can’t take forever and require multiple presses of the play button in the project window. I gave a one star rating because, what should’ve taken me an hour or two for ONE day, took me several days of an hour or more each day trying to get a 25 minute long wedding video. I am canceling this subscription before I'm charged the yearly fee on October 19th. I must hear back from the developer telling me that this is absolutely been fixed. I have this program running on the most powerful iPad Pro 11 inch (M1). How do you take a program that was working almost perfectly a year ago and with the most recent update, it is horrible and doesn’t work right? it must be able to play through the timeline after I make changes so that I can see how it’s going to look. It was a simple project, not that complicated at all. I can’t even make the video as good as I had hoped because of these reasons. I will not subscribe and pay any fees until this has been fixed!

Something I need to say. So..when I first downloaded this app I’ve had no problems literally no problems but after this update I’m having lots of problems..it’s like every time I download a video or a picture on my phone and I’m trying to transfer it to the app it won’t let me, instead it’ll say “media not found check your library to see if it’s downloaded” something like that and it’s really starting to aggravate me..mind fixing this problem? If not then ima just have to drop the app for another one :/ I know I could’ve done it after the update but I just love the app ya know it’s good for editing but..not anymore..😐

Amazing app but there’s one thing.... Ok so when I got this app I was sooo exited because I wanted to be a Gacha tuber so I wanted to make videos but when I was using it it kept telling me to pay and I’m like 11 years old so I don’t have my own money and my parents said no so I had to delete it. If you didn’t need to pay than there’s one more thing to me it’s very hard to use this app I’m not sure if it’s only me but maybe when I’m older so I’m rating this a 4/5 rating for anyone who has their own money and could figure things out on their own I’m sure this would be a really great app! -me

Unusable. It was always clunky, but the past few months it has become literally unusable. Audio will not sync, fade stops working entirely, audio skips and repeats in places, and simply will not save in a usable format — the sync, but also the audio is always corrupted in one form or another beyond the syncing, which is simply trash now no matter what. Just spent time fighting the second and last video that I will wrestle in PowerDirector only to have to fix in iMovie in order to save the audio without weird repeats, skips and sync issues. Unbelievable. And I paid $5.99 this month, too. I'm frustrated to the point of being disgusted. And I am also also done. Congratulations on earning my first 1 star review.

Please don’t download. Me and my best friend are small YouTubers, and since we haven’t hit the qualifications for being paid, we’re unable to get new equipment for better videos. Anyways, I was trying to find a better way to make a certain video, and a YouTuber I love to watch who makes tutorials and other things like that recommended it for the type of video I was making. So today I decided to try it out, and I was very impressed by the way it turned out. Though I still had about 6 GB on my device available to use, it told me the video could not save and I had to free up space. I thought to myself “the video is finished, so I bet I can just delete the images I used for this.” After I deleted it, I went into the app and it told me the whole video was gone. I spent over 2 hours working on this video, and I had an actual meltdown. Thank goodness I sent half of the video to my best friend to show her the WIP, because if I didn’t I would have to spend another 2 hours making it. So, to the people reading this, I wanna let you know that I got NO WARNING WHATSOEVER, and I’m VERY disappointed. I will not use this app again, and I won’t recommend it to anyone. I hope that from now on you warn people about this, because you just lost a user.

This app is amazing 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. Ok so I got this app when I heard about it...and omg I don’t regret installing it🤩 but the thing is when I tried to make a gacha video the next day I opened the app then it Said that they cannot find the files so I cannot watch the video but if i saved it I can sooo I don’t know if that is a problem in the app or... it really cannot find the file so ya (I’m so sorry if that is not a problem in the app and you really cannot find the files I’m 10 so I don’t know that much on my ipad😅😅😅😅 )

This app is extremely complicated. In addition to this it is not a good video editor. It freezes up when trying to add effects making the videos unwatchable and the effects are very cheesy. Voice over does not let you use any voice other than the computer generated voices that sound like bots. You can’t use a famous voice. You can’t add any special effects to videos like explosions or anything that will keep you on the edge of your seat (even though it would only freeze) this app is pretty kindergarten in terms of where we stand in 2023 and how video editing has evolved. This app is more like 1960’s video editing. If I could rate it a 0 I would because I have completely wasted the past 2 days thinking I was doing something wrong trying to find this software but the reality is that the app doesn’t have any of this.

Good, but one big issue. Love this app. It’s everything you need in a mobile editor, organized in an intuitive and user friendly manner. And music too. Wow. But one big problem. During the final moments of the “fade” transition, the clip stutters slightly, creating a short lived still image (like the one image froze for a split second, while the other continued to transition smoothly). Not very noticeable in a landscape shot, but when someone is talking on screen during this fade transition, it’s pretty distracting. Please fix this one thing and your app would be the perfect mobile editor for the majority of people.

Not so great 😑😕😑. This is not the best video editor that I’ve seen. I originally downloaded it for the after credit feature, but I believe that they got rid of it. It would be nice if they could bring it back because this was the only app I could find that makes credits, and the feature is very useful. There are also too many things that can only be used with a subscription. It’s quite annoying. Overall I don’t recommend only because there are so many things I wish I could do bc when editing videos. If you are a person who is on the hunt for a video editor I truly recommend InShot (logo is a white camera with mainly pink ombré background) I use it for all of my videos and it is truly amazing.

This is a darn good app!!!. Not gonna lie this app is pretty good. It does 90% of everything I need it to do for free. If I could suggest 1 thing is would to be pin layered elements like audio and text to a clip. I’m not sure why but when I make add certain audio clips or text when I come to the app the text or audio clips have moved from the elements I added them to. Because this is painful and time consuming I gave it 3 stars. I paid for a 1 month access just to use a few filters features to see how they look. While they are nice I don’t know if it is for what I need it for. I will have to think about the long term/yearly purchase as this isn’t a one time fee. But over all for what it does it’s good. Absolute garbage app.. Absolute garbage app. I’ve used PowerDirector in the past and it was the perfect editing app for me. Three years later, I reinstall the app, and to my horror, everything goes wrong. Here’s my issue; Every time I try to create a video—once I start editing, ALL my photos and videos are GONE. The screen goes BLACK. It says my files are unable to load or something like that. I’m so tired of this app I’m on the verge of giving up and I’m thinking of finding a new app to replace PowerDirecter. It’s not only this issue that I have to deal with. Once I begin editing my videos, it takes almost a DECADE for me to finish because of how SLOW the app gets after I pass the 30 minute timeline. I’m so frustrated with this app, sometimes I’m on the verge of throwing my phone across the multiverse. I really hope you make some changes or FIX these issues.

Great! But a problem. Ok so I got this app I love the new update I really like the new stickers, easy to use. but when I did a test, it blocked my video the media was not found. So I was very sad but I’m not judging, or trying to be rude. But I was..And this was when I gave it the last chance. To not block my video, but..its not change science 2 years ago, So I would want some Changes to not block your media. But keep the updates uploaded, The only change I want is to not block your media/Photos. If you could you don’t have to. :) it’s just fine! You don’t have to do that I think I started using it when 2017 I think and I really liked it, but 10 months ago I did vlogs inside, The house. But it was private so don’t try to ask the user 😅. And it blocked it. Black but it’s ok, so that’s the only problem I want you to change remember you don’t have too. And thx for reading!

Good but I have a problem. Hello! I absolutely LOVE this app! I use it for my gacha stories. Anyway, I have a problem, now for some reason it says it doesn’t have permission to open my media library. So I go to settings to give it permission, but the tab that I usually click on to allow it doesn’t show up! Now I can’t make anything! Please try to fix it! -Emily Edit: Hello again! It worked! Thank you SO much! I seriously LOVE this app! Keep up the good work! Edit 2: I have a new problem. It won’t even let me in. Right as I click on it it just kicks me out. This has been happening for almost a month, but I don’t want to uninstall it then reinstall it, because then I’ll lose all my hard work. I checked to see if it was because I had low storage. I cleaned up my storage, it wasn’t the problem. I checked to see if it was because it needed an update. It did, so I updated it, and it still wouldn’t let me. Do you know what to do?

Play Button Glitch. So I didn’t want to write a review because I would have much rather used support but any-who there seems to be some sort of glitch within the app where the play button is not working for whatever reason, however the problem isn’t for every video it’s for very specific ones and it seems to be in connection with the audio. This is something I’ve never experienced before and maybe it has something to do with the amount of editing, I’m unsure why, however it is slowing me down on finalizing my edits. Not impressed. I have had PowerDirector (with a Premium membership) for a few months now. On my iPhone 13 Pro Max, things worked pretty nearly perfectly. Ever since I upgraded to the 14 Pro Max, I have had NOTHING but issues. The app freezes, crashes, certain features don’t work half the time and others don’t work at all. It seems like whenever there is an update, the issues get WORSE instead of better. I am a content creator and do not have the time to deal with these issues. I have due dates, and how can I complete my content in time if I can’t even use the features needed to create the content? I even sent an email to support at one point to report some of the issues and was told that it was probably my video format… except my video format hasn’t changed. Its not a ME problem, it’s a YOU problem. Fix the bugs in the system, please. Or, if you can’t manage that, then please refund my money and I will take my business elsewhere.

Dear PowerDirector Makers. I wasn’t able to to see your reply but here’s what I have to say about it now that I stoped the app from kicking me - and I know I said I would give 0 stars but now I found out why I ketp getting kicked but when that does happen can you still be able to save progress I made when I edited because that will be great and please make somethings free because they look cool but I gotta buy :( But it’s good app use a lot to edit my videos and skits and do you have face tracking or video tracking to blur things out? So ima give it 5 stars now but if I can give you 10 I would keep up the good work I know your making the app better for people to use

Amazing!!! 🤩🤩🤩. So I love this app, I use it so much and I love it. It’s great in all ways and I love what you can do on the app. Also, there so much you can do, like yes! I have been using it non stop and I’m so happy that I got it. The only thing I don’t like very much is that the videos that I make and then put together, I have to keep because I deleted the videos because I didn’t think I needed them because they were on the video but when I re-watched it, the screen was black the whole time and it said like It couldn’t work or something because it didn’t have the videos. But I don’t really mind keeping them. But I do recommend this app for editing, I think it is great for those who are looking for a editing app. Okay this is an update, I just made a 16 minute video and the whole video had SO much lag, like every 2 seconds there was gray lag all over the screen. Like, seriously? I worked really hard on that video and it gives me lag? Please fix this somehow, I saw other people that sent feedback and sure enough it happened to them to. So it’s not just me. I’m not hating but why can’t I make edits that have to be 10 minutes or less? Also THIS APP IS AMAZING! But I do have a couple requests to add. So first of all, can you add to the music and make a search bar that you can search for ANY song. Please and thank you. I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR APP!

I love it but... Hey just to start off I love this app and I am so happy that you put it on iOS! I make gacha life videos and I personally think that power director makes my videos so much better. The first think I don’t really like is the watermark. I’m just a kid so I can’t pay like 40 dollars a year for the premium membership, so I would like it if you could be able to remove the watermark for free. The second weird thing is that when I try to add a picture or something it says like “unable to place video/picture see if it is in your library” and I do check my library and the picture/video is there so I’m a little confused I really want to know what’s up with that it might be sort of a bug or something and I just want to know if you can maybe get rid of that. But other than that I LOVE this app I would really recommend this app. Bye and keep up the good work! ✌🏻❤️

At last the iPad Video Editor you've been waiting for!. I am a professional video editor and have had Power Director among my editing tools for many years. I have longed for a version for my iPad but only recently it has become available. There is a free version good for quick edits and posts. Now there is pro version available month to month as you need it. It is not the same as the one on your PC. That's good. It is optimized for your relatively small screen but has tools for editing, filtering, transitioning, titles and more that are all top notch. The edits are smooth and the renders are quick and pro quality. If you've been frustrated trying to edit a project on your IPad while traveling, then give this a try. You will be delighted.

I have a problem. So Um….I have been using this app for a long time and I just checked and for some reason, my pictures that I either put on green screens or as pictures they either don’t appear with the green screens and such and just appear pitched black and I can’t see a thing at all. And another thing. For years I have used this app and when I add an average amount of photos while I’m trying to create a video it’s always glitchy and kinda slow when it comes to getting a picture to put in or even moving from left to right. Or just at all using the app the clicking and putting pictures or anything is just slow. I hope there is an explanation for it cause I’m confused:/

Great app, except…. This is a really great app, it’s legit a pro editing app! It’s sooooo cool, but at the same time it’s not. I am a YouTuber so I need to find like THE best editing apps, so I’ll also ask my friends if they know any that may be able to help, so one of my friends told me about this, so I downloaded it, and it was reallyyyy good👍 But then, I found out that it’s a 40 dollars a MONTH app🙄🙄🙄 like honestly, I’m sick of games having that thing where you have to pay every month, or even every week, it’s driving me nuts🥜 because there are AWSOME edits on here that I could use, but it does not work because of the premium thing. If you REALLY need the money, then either make it so that the app is like 40 dollars (OR LESS!), or make it so that the app is free, but to buy everything is like 40 dollars (OR LESS), because this won’t get you money if people buy it, because think of it; there are people out there in the world that can’t afford a lot of stuff, but may want these apps, so all I’m asking is that you get rid of the premium thing, and make something else on here cost money, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSE!!!!!

It was going great until….. I’ve been using PowerDirector for a super long time and it’s always been amazing! But recently when I make a video and finish it, everything gets deleted within a couple days. Even today when I was making one video I added an audio and when I came back to continue editing, the audio was deleted and I had to restart. I don’t know if this just a glitch and it’ll go away in a bit or what. I want to continue using the app (mostly because I can’t find anything better to use) but I don’t want to loose all of my videos. I had a lot of videos that I deleted all the footage of and I can’t remake anymore.

Works relatively well. Tricky use of files though.. This works well for what it does on mobile. I did have a lot of wasted time scrolling and I deleted files from photos to make space to download the finished edit. Then the app said that some files had gone missing been renamed or removed access. So the files that I brought into the app have to stay in Photos in order to produce the edited video. That’s fine except I spent tons of time down converting them into the app and it didn’t tell me this fact ahead of time. I spent hours more RE-downloading the clips from the could back into photos and then RE- down-converting them into the app then recutting them into the finished edit (which alters the timeline for audio overdubs needed for a cooking video) then realigning all the ADR and effects.... hours of wasted time due to the app not saying up front what was needed.

Garbage. This app is nothing more than a subscription based version of other free mobile editors. The effects are basic and no good for anybody besides teenagers looking to make sparkly/glittery tik tok videos. They call this a pro editor? Please. Freezes literally every time I use it in the first few minutes. You absolutely CANNOT edit and resume playback from your pause point, it MAKES you exit out and start the video completely over from the start. Their support is trash, you can’t get any type of help, support or resolution within 48 hours even if you call, which is inexcusable for a subscription service. I thought I despised a few other editing programs prior to this one, I was wrong, I wish I’d never even clicked on the description of this piece of worthless garbage app. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!! Oh, and if you’re reading this, it’s because I finally got past the AI that kept saying “nickname taken, please choose another one.” I was using key words like trash, crash, freeze, garbage etc,… let that be a hint.

Idk what happened. **anew problem the fade function can’t be found I can’t simply fade out on a video lol it completely disappeared as a option from the menu I used to love working with this a few years back Now every time there is some kind of issue I lose my song tracks on a regular when the whole point of purchase was music videos After losing a music track upon trying to reload it I get a prompt saying I can’t load the file Usually have to retry the next day and it will work When layering green screen video god forbid you try different ideas because if you delete one and try another it sees it as still being there and you get a 6 track limit even tho you may only have 4 tracks up Downloading new FX is a frustrating joke while one might actually apply the affect most don’t This actually just happened and that’s when I decided to write a review because it’s one issue after another EVERY SINGLE TIME I download new fx and one out of the 6 work I usually end up having to finish my projects in another editor Also I’m using a 500gig gen 6 iPad Pro idk if that matters either way I shouldn’t be having so many issues at this subscription price point I used to swear by this app and recommend it now it’s a frustrating piece of trash

Just like the PC/Mac software!. This is one of the best video editors ever made! I've been a subscriber since the beginning of the subscription service. There is only one problem that needs to be addressed promptly, and that's mouse and keyboard support... Please fix this issue! I use my iPad Pro as my personal computer... The subscription is WORTH IT! So many videos to use, and the sound FX/Music too! This app is the best video editing software for iPhone! The transitions are amazing! Everything about this app is just fantastic! There are also TONS of updated stuff, and new FX for editing. Just try it out! You’ll thank me later!

Something I needed but needs more sounds and effects.. This app is actually very cool, everything seems to work fine. Though the things that I do wish that it had are new accurate punching sounds and more swords basically more accurate action sounds, I don’t like that the punching sounds, sounds kinda cartoony, if you guys can add a more cooler/ accurate punches and kick or any related to combat that would very much be helpful, and if you can add some spider man web effects please 🙏🏻? Powerful, Easy to use, + Suggestion. This is a great app! The subscription is worth it to the max, and the quality its top-teir. If you need a video editing software on an iPad or iPhone, this is what I would suggest, even after using countless other ones, this one reigns supreme. I would also like to suggest something that I hope gets added, and that is green screen support. Being able to record something on a green screen, then change it into a backround or a video in the edit, would be SUPERB! Thanks for reading, and try it out!

There’s one small problem that needs to get fixed!. Ever since I got this app when I was 10 years old, I did not regret it at all, and I still edit on this editor today. I love all of the edits you can do for just a mobile editor. However, there is one small problem that I’ve actually experienced with ever since I got the app. If I put too much effects into the editor, when I click the play button, the video just won’t playback the footage. Before, I would just turn my phone’s power off and then back on, but now it seems to happen if I put too much effects, meaning I have to actually delete some effects. This is a huge problem, because the amount of edits it wants me to delete is insane. Please have this bug fixed. This was something I wanted to get fixed, ever since getting this app.

Great, but just one problem. I love using this app to edit my videos, and it is super easy to use. Everything is easy to find and the amount of things you can do without paying is just awesome. But there's one small problem. Audio. The audio has so much lag and glitches. Sometimes the sounds don't play, sometimes it plays only a couple milliseconds of the sound, sometimes the sound is delayed. These are problems that I wish could be fixed, because it really makes it hard for me to add sound effects to my videos. If you could do something about it that would be awesome, and for now, it's just going to be 4 stars from me. But again, it's a great app, so I recommend it to anybody looking for an editing software.

Used to be good. I have paid for the premium VIP and as of late have not been able to use anything that I paid for. I’m not up for renewal until September and don’t think I’m going to renew. I’ve used this software for years for my business and have been happy with it until now. It’s just all around frustrating to use and doesn’t work properly at all! I’ve notified them with no avail. I can’t use any of the features I upgraded to be able to use. No transitional features or anything else works. Terrible!👎

SUPER LAGGY CONSTANT ISSUES. So happy I paid $40 for this... not. I’ve had nothing but issues with lag on every single thing I do. For example, I go to split a clip & it freezes for a good 8 seconds before it actually clips it. Try to undo that? Another 8 second freeze. Now it crashes and kicks me out whenever it feels Ike it. OH ALSO! It will delete your clips & say it’s because you deleted the media off your phone when you never did. Literally anything I do, it freezes. This app is trash, don’t waste your money. UPDATE! App still continues to lag if you try editing a video over 10 mins in length. I’m coming on here to update this review because this happened just now while trying to use app again. AS I WAS EDITING, (which mind you has a good amount of splitting both video & voiceover recordings from my mic and being sure they match up in sync perfectly.. A LOT of effort put into this) the media goes red MID CUT & says it cannot be found... the media is still on my phone like it was when it initially pulled it. Ruined & Ridiculous! It’s just so unfortunate that you pay for an app like this with all it has to offer... and you implement multiple things like music/video/text/voiceover and it can’t even keep up with using all of them without such lag.

Use to be good but... This app use to be pretty good back than, it was simple to use and it had good amount of things. Now I’m not sure.. the app has a lot more things and I can do a lot more than I used to be able but I just found it a little more complicated. I wouldn’t say it’s bad as it as improved a lot but it took me almost about a month to get used to all the controls and see everything which I think it kinda ridiculous. I also crashed and it has quite a lot of bugs which need to be fix. Overall the app is pretty good though and it has inproved a lot.

Fantastic but. The thing is I love everything about this app it’s awesome and super reliable,but the thing is the watermark along with other apps it just covers part of the video so I wanted to ask a suggestion maybe in the future (if you guys want to of course) could you make us watch maybe ads and just make the watermark free for 24hrs until we watch ads again, you guys don’t have to of course but it’s a small suggestion since lots of people who can’t afford to pay use this app, anyways keep up the good work👏🏻

Issues with live stream recordings. I have been using and have subscribed to the premium version for a couple of years now and I loved the app until the last renewal. My live stream recordings have all of a sudden started to malfunction in the PowerDirector app and the powers that be are unable to fix the issue. So I have paid for a year of service of this app and cannot use it for what I have been using it for all along. The videos that I upload are not playing properly in the app. The audio is fine but the viewing of the videos look like they are buffering and are severely behind the video. I cannot edit them. But, if I produce the videos, the result is a perfect in synch video and audio with no viewing issues. For some reason, in the middle of reporting this to PowerDirector, they stopped communicating with me. Probably bc they can’t fix it and don’t want to give me a refund. Do not subscribe to this app. I am currently looking for anothe video editing app that does what I need it to fo.

Wingit. To be honest this is one amazing editing tool until the latest update versions . I was getting comfortable with all its amazing features.. on the 10.6 then the 11. Suddenly the new updates have broken the transitions between clips (not impressed) they were smooth now it skips sound and picture , also the speed up times 8x use to be smooth .also skittish fix this problem please. I like the 10.6 before the new update, i had to delete this app several times to see if it’s anything my end , I’m paying subscription because this app is amazing..

Some videos won’t be added. I have had the app for years without this issue. I am attempting to make a video, however half of my chosen videos have a “cloud” symbol on them, and I am unable to place them in my video (please see attached picture) I have updated my phone and the app and still unable to load the single videos into the main video. All are the same format.

Reasonably good. Power Director is a very promising app but the only thing that is bothering me is how laggy it is. I had a ten-second video and it was lagging so much! I suggest that you fix this because it is probably the reason why you don’t have 5 stars that could be the way you can improve way much more reasonably better!

Great. PowerDirector is the only app that allows me to use green screen and is a great app in general. It’s capabilities are much bigger than I first thought it would be. However, I either can’t find the feature that allows me to add motion to the layer, or there isn’t a feature and I am suggesting one. It is quite annoying to add pan to the background to make the layer seem as if it is moving and also limits your capabilities with this app. I use an iPad to edit.

Fail. Can’t view/edit audio track for a video without exporting the audio first. Can’t move clips from one video track to the other. Trimming a clip on track 1 automatically removes the gap and slides the remaining clips together, which ruins any sync you have with other tracks. Can’t view the timeline in frame, so when moving clips you can’t be exact which is important for audio sync. When importing a clip on the “layer” track, it imports it at half size and you have to resize it - but the controls are awkward to resize it exactly to full screen or a specific amount (like 25 percent). Oh, and if I press the Home button within the app, it takes me back to the main menu, losing my project. It doesn’t ask to save my project or warn me that I will lose it. I could go on, but this app is a flop just like many other mobile video editors.

Editing. It’s really good and all but maybe you could make a bit easier like KineMaster??

Unfair.. When I got onto the app it kicked me out because I wasn’t using a device to your standards. I am honestly disappointed as my friend said it was amazing and really easy to use. I already don’t like that and now I can’t even USE the app. A waste of my time, not to hurt the creator’s feelings.

Why was this created?. The app has no instructions it kept on crashing and I couldn’t add audio. I deleted it within a minute of downloading it. This app is the reason there should be a zero star option.

My Review. I’ve been using PowerDirector for the past few months and for the most part it’s honestly pitch perfect. The only downside is the audio quality isn’t great. If you must record audio for your videos than I’d advice recording it through a different app. Save your audio files to ICloud and edit the video on PowerDirector. Aside from the audio problems PowerDirector is absolutely fantastic. The video quality is up to standard and there’s well arranged wide selection of background music to choose from.

Payment difficulties. I used the app for years until they charged me twice for renewing my subscription. There was confusion about a trial period, appearing as if i wasn’t subscribed. Then when it ended the app was restricted & my payment hadn’t been processed… yet. So I bought the app & was charged for 2 purchases. Which caused confusion between my bank, Apple & myself. I just use cut cap & ticktok for editing now.

SUPER GLITCHY!!. Ever since I switched to power director, I would have to make 1 minute videos and put them together- Meaning 1 hour of just doing that! It is a waste of time! Now, I am kicked off my videos every 5 seconds- exactly, making 20 SECOND VIDEOS! Please fix these awful bugs otherwise I’m not coming back :(.

Great app with amazing features - best with iPad Pro. Love this app and have been using 12 months or so. Have upgraded old iPad Pro because it was struggling on videos with 3 layers and more than 3-4 minutes but the new Pro copes well. Only strong suggestion to developer is to allow iCloud synch if possible. I now work on iPhone, old iPad and the new iPad but because there is no synch I am limited to the device I start a project on. Would be great to synch. Another good feature would be to be able to check the source location of video clips so that if the clip gets moved and therefore doesn’t show in PowerDirector then at least we can check that location and replace the file to that location to recover the project. Don’t download this app. You will waste your money and this app should be called a crashing app. I recently got a response to this review and the response is the same response 90% of the complaints get! ( restart the app! You might not have enough memory! Your phone might be slow bla bla bla) after carefully reviewing all the reviews left by the users and they complain mostly about the same issue for the past 3 years! Clearly implies that this app needs to be taken off App Store as the company has not taken the responsibility of fixing these issues! I don’t need a response from you guys. Thank you 🤝

One of the best mobile editors. A really great video editing app. The best video editing app in my book! Countless transitions, stickers, text fonts, and ways to enhance videos. I’d love it if you added stereoscopic sound editing in it. And if you can make it move around too, but just a suggestion.

Best Video Suite/ Editor on the App Store by a Wide Margin. As the title says. It’s easy to use and understand and has a depth that can satisfy more experienced editors. I hope that they continue to import further features from the PC version. It’s just missing a few lighting and vfx options and it would be perfect.

Cannot green screen videos. Do not be mislead by the app description. The chroma key feature is not available for videos only photos. So it is useless

Very happy with this app. I am a yoga teacher so hopefully that tells you everything about my skill level with things like this. It took some figuring but overall I found this app very easy to use. I can edit the beginning and end of my videos and most importantly, I can remove the sounds of the sirens that always show up during savasana 👍😀

Love it!! Really versatile, productive and fun to use. I am pretty familiar with general video/audio editing tools and make videos for fun/hobby !! I downloaded PowerDirector and subscribed to the yearly plan, and am super happy with the app. It works great on my iPhone 13 pro max, and i just love the integrated access to istockphoto and shutterstock media library!! I went ahead and also subscribed to the suite on my PC!! I love my existing DaVinci Resolve toolset, but I like this PowerDirector suite as much due to its versatility and its ease of making rich material!!! Cyberlink: i wish you would come up with some Meta universe tools too!!! It will be awesome to be able to integrate your existing 2D audio/video suite with the 3D capabilities to make content for upcoming new AR/VR products from Apple and others!!!

Edits. Is an amazing editing app especially for iPhones but the only thing that I don’t like about this app is that there’s a split sec lag when you try to see the other the clips.

Disappointed in this app lately!. Updated: I’ve been using PowerDirector since it first dropped and the odd time it would have the odd bug or glitch which was expected. Lately I’ve been so disappointed while working on projects in this app it literally forced me to use other editing apps which is a shame cause I really loved PowerDirector. Tried to edit long videos (like podcasts) and while editing and syncing audio, the app would randomly say some stuff like “file seems to be missing or replaced” or “there isn’t enough memory space available” knowing well I have plenty of memory and storage space also I never moved my files. Even worse, let’s say you get through the nightmare of editing and you get the chance to start producing/rendering the project, it will get to around 90% and then the app will straight up crash! I’m so done with this software and I’m more upset about it cause I really loved it when it didn’t glitch out and shut down for no reason. Fix this please! I’ve been exporting a video over and over again to get the same results! Already tried troubleshooting ideas to fix this problem, why on earth have an editing app that’s not optimized properly especially when it comes to exporting a project?!

I hate this app and it’s glitches.. It won’t let me add text to my projects anymore, it just freezes when I press the checkmark and I have to close the app. PowerDirector has so many other problems but with that problem I’m done with this app.

The problem of cut a video. I have purchased the iPad premium version of your software, and found a serious problem during use. When I cut a video, the transition between the two clips cannot be smooth. The dropped position has to freeze for a while before transitioning to the next clip. How to solve this problem?

Subscriptions. I can subscribe through the Apple subscription but I can’t sign in to that account. Why in the world would I use this? I can pay for the service but Not access the service. I can sign in with my email address but not through Apple. Since when did that change?? I thought this app sucked in the fall, it majorly sucks now!! Stay Away from This App!!

The best app ever.. I been using the app for several years now. Its been great. As a novice and have graduated to learning more than I thought I would learn with the simple and easy to applications within the app. I highly recommend for everything. This is a all in one app. They area always providing updates and learning videos. Most of all its fun if you are just making videos for social media. Try it out! You will love it!

Issues with media library. I love this app! It’s helpful and I use it to post my videos on my channel, but there’s a problem with it. After I’m done making a video, I delete the screenshots and then post it. That’s how I’ve always done it. Never had a problem with it before. But now, when I delete them off my photos on my iPhones gallery, and go back to the app, it says ‘media not found’. I know it’s because the screenshots are gone, but once I put them into the app itself, shouldn’t it just save? In conclusion, it’s a good app but it could use some work.

Great app, won’t download projects.. Don’t get me wrong this is a great editing app, but I recently made a video, and I won’t let me upload to YT or download it to my camera roll. If you see this please help me. And I literally had to screen record my project because PowerDirector wouldn’t work. This has been a problem for me for a few weeks, so PowerDirector if your seeing this can you cut down the glitches if your video is above 10 min

Worth the $. I have never edited a video in my life. I have no idea what I am doing. This is Company takes the time to actually teach you in videos how to do everything on this app. That alone was worth the price I don’t care if I don’t get anything else out of this. An app that actually teaches you how to use it is definitely worth the $ I spent.I am definitely looking forward to using this app and learning how to make videos.

Issues. This editor is pretty great and all but there’s a huge issue with the files. Every-time I try to make an edit, and I’m almost done, it corrupts everything and says it was all deleted off the media. However, I check my folder and nothing was deleted. Each time I tried to import anything it wouldn’t let me, this issue makes using the app very frustrating since I lose a lot of work. Please look into that, other than that it works fine.

I love this but what I don’t like. On iOS I tried pressing the play button once I was editing my video I kept pressing it and it still didn’t let me I tried again once I pause the video after I just went so you can edit the video produce it’s stuff like that I put again it didn’t work but when you put it on a different timeline it doesn’t work you need to fix this or is it just phone not sure

😐Help😶. I just got this app and I am not actually able to go on websites. So I have no clue to what I’m doing. It looked like fun so I got the app... but it is confusing. When I saw this app I thought that I could take a video of someone and I could move them. Like I can make it look like someone is really small or really big. There’s in issue. I just got the app a couple hours ago and it was really good, but after awhile it kept on freezing, which meant I had to close the app and open it again. It got really annoying after it kept happening multiple times, but it was bearable. The big issue was that when I tried changing the speed of the video it exited me out of the app. When I tried going back to the video it just kept exiting me out. I’ve spent like an hour editing that video and now I can’t go back to edit it more, meaning all that was a huge waste of time. I hope you guys can fix that issue.

Confusing and not useful!. Hi there strangers and possibly power director employees! As you can read by the title I do not recommend this app. It’s very confusing to maneuver and I don’t find it to be useful. I suggest using kinemaster, or cute cut. You may be asking why I think this app is so bad? Well I’ll tell you! 1: The green screen. I have never seen a worse green screen then PowerDirector. I am a gachatuber who only uses green screen and did not find this helpful at all. But I can see other people being able to use it..? Because it leaves a really annoying green outline that’s really big but if you’re going for a bright green neon stroke then here you go. 2: Yes there is good effects but I feel as if they are not good effects and they are to intense I just want something simple! But I do use it to put in gifs because I hate the stupid cute cut logo and this one is easier to cut out. Still a little broken. When I go to play the video I am making when I mute the video and then play through it at the last second of the clip it plays a sound and even though it is muted and plus it stops out of nowhere and I click on the play button and it won’t play I have to close the app to fix it but it does it again in a contentious cycle every time I have to do this latterly the app is broken to me at least please fix

Was good at first. At first this app was working very well, AT FIRST. After around 30/40 minutes of editing I started running into issues. The first one was the app not letting me trim stuff. For some reason when i trimming it doesn’t trim, idk why. The second on is the app freezing for a few seconds and then not letting me play video. I try closing the project and reopening it and it works, but sometimes it makes a weird glitch in the video. Honestly I still like the app even though it has annoying glitches, i’ll use it but it pisses me off when I run into these glitches

There’s a problem..for just me I think. This is a really good app. But I use it for gacha life stuff and every time I try to fix how long the photo stays for it takes a long time to load in and then a longer time to be able to move it. If you can’t fix this I won’t be mad because I did one with having to wait but if you can fix it please do.

I don’t know what to title this 😅. So, I don’t know if this was just for me, or if other people have had this problem, but basically when I went to shorten one of the videos/pictures, the video in front of it would stay where it was, leaving a huge gap of just… Nothingness in the video. It doesn’t sound like a big problem, but I like to make animations, which means that I have a lot of pictures in the video, (I don’t know, maybe that caused it?) meaning that if I have to drag each picture to the next one, and then shorten it and then repeat it, it becomes really inconvenient. I don’t know if this is because of the device I was using, or if I just had a glitch, or maybe my phone is outdated, but it didn’t work for me.

I’m only writing this cuz I need help. It’s a really good app and I like it a lot but I keep having a reoccurring issue. I’m trying to make a BTD6 video and the volume won’t show up. The volume works well on all other games except this one. My mike was on and I can here it from photos but not from PowerDirector. Aside from that this has been an amazing editing app that helped me make videos a lot. Thank you for making this app and for hearing out other people and their issues.

Video quality changes when adjusting lighting. Was using this app on my Samsung galaxy and loved it so much that I paid for the premium. Now I’m using it on the iPhone 14 max, paid for premium but noticed that when adjusting setting like brightness, contrast, exposure etc. it immediately lowers the quality of the original video. Adjusting was one of my favorite features as it was easy to use and create a clean video from all my clips but is it just gives me a headache. I could really use some advice Thanks

I Love Power Director for editing but it keeps cutting my clips shorter than they are. I love this app for editing, I use it religiously but lately it has been cutting my video clips from 4-5 seconds a piece down to 1.6-1.9 seconds a clip which completely ruins what I’m trying to do and I’ve tried over again and again and re recorded clips and everything and it hasn’t worked so I need that fixed before I change this to 5 stars.

I like it but.... I like the update where there were music added for free. I can create movies with this. I liked it when I read all about it until I got the app. There was one thing I did not like about it and it was the watermark on the corner. It just doesn’t fit right on there and I want it to not have it. It would be great if that is over. That’s the only improvement this could do. I do not have much money and saw this. Maybe add more to member so the money is worth it if it changes. Thanks for reading

I can’t get it to play the video. I love this app but my latest video I’ve been editing keeps not wanting to play. So I go to my other videos and play them and it works perfectly. The only way to do it is to watch it from the screen where it says “delete, edit, and copy” then when I go in the video it will play on the start part then when I pause it, it won’t play again and I have to start a new video to make it play. Please read and fix the bug.

Nothing Here Worth $5.99 a month.. I downloaded this app due to a you tube video (where the comments are turned off) stating there is an AI sky replacement feature on the application. It seems to be a lie. The closet I can get to it is the options of sky videos from Shutterstock which none of them can overlay with even 25% occupancy against even a basic landscape sky and water video without overlaying the entire video which overlays the ground and of course is pointless. If I try to go half on and half off despite adjusting the overlay, contrast, occupancy the outside lines of the video are visible. Don’t waste your money on nothing special.

I’m only writing this to people who make one star reviews and said it wouldn’t work on their device, or constant lag, well for your information...check your device, check if your device works with this app, boom easy as pie, constant lag? Maybe too long video, to much text,. To much stuff like layers or voice-overs and music, or bad wi-do connection sometimes, only if you are in dead end, if your talking about the premiums...well...not everything is free in life, think about this stuff before putting these reviews out, I know it’s your opinion but still, stay safe! (I love this app very much and I use it all the time!)

Great app. This is a great up hands down I used it on my galaxy when I had one and it helped plenty but now I have an iPhone so I got the app and was expecting to buy the premium version like I had before. Sadly it is now a subscription based service which is understandable from a business perspective but a true shame since I believe it was great value for the $5.99 I had previously paid on my galaxy. Regardless of that it is great and really enjoy it.

Ehhh…. So I see that a lot of YouTubers have this app and it works for them very well, so I’m excited to download it. I search it on the App Store, and there it is. I look at the ratings just Incase this isn’t the app I’m looking for. It is. I download it onto my phone, and then I mess with it just to see how it works. My reaction was: Really? I have very limited options unless I get premium, which I’m not gonna get when there are more editors out there that have more options, and I don’t wanna buy the premium! I saw that the developers often responded to other people’s complaints/responses. So, if you developers are reading this, please more options.

Pretty Good, one issue though.. I used this app about a few years back, good to see its still good! Its simple to learn and it’s certainly able to do many of my editing needs. My only complaint is that when I split an audio and then move it, it never plays, at first I thought it was just loading, but no matter how long I wait, it’s always not playing unless I insert another full audio. Overall, it’s still a good app, just please fix this issue, please?

Cool. I absolutely love the free stunning transitions. I was searching around for an app that would allow me to place down cool transitions like an anime clip and came along this app. Not only does it have transitions I can use for free, but I can record music and place it in the videos too?! Awesome 👏 👏 👏 . Not many apps allow me to place down transitions for free, and this one offers a variety of 44 different transitions. There does not appear to be a max of clips/photos I can add nor transitions too.

Extremely disappointed. I’ve been an avid user of this app for years. I loved it until I upgraded my phone to the iPhone pro max 14. Now, it’s constant glitches. I have to restart the app 20 times to produce a 20 second video and even then, the video is glitchy. I can’t use playback inside the app and nothing is working properly. Probably going to delete after this being my go to app for a long time. But I can’t keep wasting my time with it.

I usually love your app but.... I’m super sad with this new update y’all took Favorite text animations like glitter, wave, etc!!!! These new options are ok but limited on how we can edit them and are not as y useful as the other texts!!!! I hope y’all bring them back soon!!! Editing issues. Ive been using this app for a long time and been paying monthly for it now as well. When im editing its not playing back so i cant tell if the audio i have is synced properly and at times itll only play one audio track and not the whole thing even when that track isnt selected. its making it impossible to edit with it not playing back and id hate to have to switch editing apps. I jus hope u guys can get this fixed

It’s good sometimes... So, when I want to upload a video (I’m a Roblox Content Creator) it doesn’t let me upload videos, this for me is not too good because PowerDirector is the best way for me to edit because it’s simple, I can’t find any other App that is like this one so it’s a huge problem. Each time I try to upload I’m greeted with a message saying “This media is not supported” I don’t know why it’s doing this because usually it doesn’t do this so I don’t know why it’s doing this now. If you know why it’s happening please let me know why, thanks.

Upgrades if you have them or can ?. I like to know if it’s possible to face match from your favorite movie ? I don’t know if yiu can put your face on Incredible Hulk like I have seen apps ? I think it’s possible ? For this sort of thing would you Ned a new license to put your face on movie characters ? Then make a short film with slides ? I guess I’m asking if it’s possible this app can make gifs with your favorite movie character like Superman as less then a minute slide ?

Not worth the money!. I bought 1 year subscription thinking it’s worth it. Main reason is the chroma key, and now they don’t have it! Other editing app is better. I don't use it that much because i found a better app, now I wanna try it again and explore, I suddenly remembered why I stopped using it. I edit a short 6min video and it was stuck on 22% upon saving on my phone. Now, I had a hard time editing my video and when it’s time to save it, it gets stuck on 86% for 50times. I already deleted picyures and videos to make sure I have enough storage, anyways it won’t let me save if I dont have rnough storage since there will be error message. Not worth my money! I have it till Feb 2021 and I cant even use it!

Perfect, for a while. I've had this app for a couple months now. LOVED IT! It's been the editing app I used for everything and I recommend it to all my friends! But a couple days ago I ran into this glitch (or maybe not and it's just been updated) where I can't put in text. Every time I try I get a splash screen to upgrade to premium which even though I love this app, I'm too broke to do. Besides that I love the app and will continue to use it!

Good but…☹️. I love this app, It’s really great. I love how many choices you have for the editing. Like there are sooooooo many transitions. You can make exactly the edited video you wanted. But I get that I have a old phone (iPhone 5) so some apps are a little glitchy. But this glitch is the worst of them all. So when I’m done editing a video I try to press the share button but my thing is like zoomed in or something so I can’t press the share button to share it with people I’ve tried everything but it just seems to stay zoomed in. But otherwise it’s a really good app

Well I think…….. I used to think iMovie was the best, nothing could beet it. Then one day I got a green screen and iMovie, just couldn’t do the job. Plus iMovie cut out the top of your photo every time in PhotoDirector doesn’t it does the full picture. I LOVE this app I can’t stop using it for absolutely ALL my movie, and editing needs. But……it could use a trailer thing, for making trailers . 😃 Besides that I recommend it 💯%

Needs more. I think it needs more stuff to the crop, I think you should be able to pick a video then it automatically changes the crop size to match the video. Also, I think that you should do a custom crop size because it would be cool! Also one final thing I think you should be able to stretch the images to cover the crop and not by making it larger. Lag. I love using PowerDirector. That’s like one of my main go to video editors and I figured it out extremely quick. The thing is, there is one thing that stopped me from using PowerDirector. When the update happened, my video that I was gonna make started to become very laggy. When I make other videos, they become laggy as well. If there is anything you could do to fix this, please fix it.

Cool, but somewhat limited.. This is a very nice app. I’ve seen a lot of other review about lag etc. but I’ve never had issues. The layout is easy enough and has everything you could need. I wish they had an option other than subscriptions - like to watch ads for content like overlays and video loops. Would gladly watch a few ads or even pay .99 cents for a rain or snow overlay that I liked. Hopefully they add an option like that. But I love it anyway- so far it’s a keeper!

Best Video-editor Ever!. PowerDirector is by far my favorite video editing app I have used after trying MANY. It's really a very simple video editor with easy-to-use interface, diverse adjustment tools, and diverse selection of excellent license-free music/effects. I find this editing system to be superior, for my purposes, than Vegas Pro, iMovie, Kinemaster or others. There is SO much bundled in one place. Even on a tiny Smart Phone, simple or sophisticated edits are surprisingly easy and effective. Love it!

An amazing editing app but it’s a monthly subscription. I purchased this app and was super excited to use it. After I finished editing my first video and enjoyed the editing process but I came to find out after paying for the app you also have to get their subscription if you want to export anything higher then 720p. Also if you don’t get the subscription you have the water mark on your video as well. Not worth the $30 dollars to then have to pay monthly. I would rather just go with Adobes monthly subscription. Sad you pay so much to not export at full 4K resolution and to have a water mark on your video.

Favorite Video editing App. Huge fan of this App . Been using it for over 5 years and have zero complaint’s except for I wish my subscription on my phone could transfer to my laptop. Frustrating that o have to pay for each separate. But love this application so much that I have no choice . Love the updates and will continue to use PowerDirector.

Glitches freezing. It’s becoming to where I can even produce the video!!!. I absolutely love this app and have made some impressive videos with it but it freezing keeps me from making them in a timely manner. I make a weekly turn up video every week for my sons football team but it’s so time consuming to have to refresh the app and start over. Also it a lot of times has trouble finding all the videos and photos when it refreshes.

It’s ok. I like it but there are some things that I think could be better. Like the effects. There aren’t many and I also would like to have effects like flashing and moving across the picture. And the sound and layer (sorry Idk what to call them) effects lare nice but the really cool ones, to use them, you need premium. Other than that I really like the app. I enjoy creating little videos on it and using its features. 4 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great app…but one key feature no longer working. I purchased the premium access about two weeks ago. Editing videos has been fun…until one of the most exciting feature in the app stopped working a week ago. I used to be able to use/add background music through the Shutterstock, which is included in the app, and all of it suddens, I’m no longer able to use the wide variety of music through the shutterstock feature. Any idea as to when this will be fixed?

Way to glitchy and freezes up way to much. Love the app and everything it offers. But trying to Timelapse it gets so glitchy and crappy. While trying to edit it freezes up a lot, freeze up during voice overs. I got the yearly subscription for it, it’s getting frustrating trying to edit my content. The app would be perfect if it did have these issues. Never experienced these issues with other editing apps

Idkkkkkk T^T. Help meeeeeee I am SUPER confused!! Like, how do I use this app?? Ik it gives you a mini tutorial at the beginning, but that’s not enough!! How do you add layers? And add text? Or do transitions?? Ihnc on what to do, so I can’t use this app!! And idk if there are other tutorials out there. So, can u please add another tutorial? Or maybe a link to one? Odd clipping noises between transitions. This app was fine up until recently it started making annoying clipping noises anytime I split a part of the track. It was never an issue until now, can this be please be fixed? It’s a reoccurring problem. All I did was click “split” so I can duplicate parts of the track but it ends up making a weird clicking noise as if it’s not connected right even though I have not done anything yet. Please fix this I already have to deal with bugs anytime I’m on the app but this is something that ruins my videos.

I would give 5 star.. but.... This is an amazing editor and I would totally recommend it. But, there are a couple things that could be fixed or better. The first one is that after having the app for a while , the audio disappeared. The next thing is that there isn’t that many non copyright songs to choose from, only 5 for the free version. There is too many ads when you start a project and exit a project, as well as when you open the app. Can you guys fix the bug and have less ads?

3⭐️ that could be a 5⭐️ app. The updates took away a few simple great things. 1, chroma keying kinda pops up when it wants to. Not easy to use when you’re looking for it and it’s nowhere to be found. 2, which for me is the biggest, editing is not the same without landscape option. I hate that it has to be in a portrait mode edit screen. 3, I’ve even been paying for the extras and there has been slight stalling bc everything isn’t perfect. Which aren’t bad, bc it’s meant to be a work towards perfection, but bring back these things and this’ll be a 5.
