Fun game! Worth trying out.. This is a very fun game that is done very well. It allows you to control everything about your player as you try to make your way to the major leagues. You need to manage him off the field too, creating relationships and keeping them in good standing. Best baseball game I’ve played on my phone. It’s controls are not too complicated, but not too easy either. Worth trying out!

Good Game with Lots of Potential. Developers: This is a really good game, but I would like to offer some feedback. 1) Energy needs to recharge over time. Even if the time to do this is slow, I get to point where energy packs cost more than what I am earning, so I have to turn the game off for the day. Either have energy recharge over time or make energy packs just 50 all tim. 2) Fielding is a nightmare. The mini game of throwing to your cut-off man is a disaster. Please work on fine-tuning that. 3) Decisions: It makes no sense to lose 10 relationship points because you have to decide between the three choices. 4) Training skills: If you want to make them cost energy, please lower the amount so you can train more in-between games.

Potential. This game definitely has the potential to be great. The new card system for this genre of game makes it very confusing and tedious. New Soccer Star was amazing and the definition of a job well done on the developers part. Even if the game was an exact copy of NSS but with baseball I would still be exceptionally satisfied. I think the gameplay is definitely to easy to as when you get it down you get a home-run every swing. Overall it a subpar game that definitely has the potential to be great.

Good game with potential. I’ve played new star soccer 5, retro bowl, and new star soccer mobile for a few years so I was really hyped for this release and it’s been pretty good so far. My only complaints are centered around batting. My first issue is that the batting feels rigged at times. I got to 100 batting and am still not able to hit the ball well. The tutorial says to hit the ball in the middle for max power but against better teams, no matter what, the outcome seems predestined. The other issue is with groundouts. It’s really annoying to watch your guy jog to first base and get struck out. It might be hard to implement but I think it would be more fair to utilize your running skill or something. Other than that, the game is really polished besides the few visual glitches.

Please make more realistic. I lover this game but I want to play with real teams from the minors and majors like the Phillies and Yankees and that stuff. I heard stats disappeared too. I just downloaded today and had a great day playing only a few minutes. I want A AA AAA teams and then MLB as well as series lengths in playoffs from other reviews Please do these and I will change mine to five stars also I have only played 15 minutes on this games as I write this review.

Great game, few issues. Gameplay is awesome, the casino and other mini games are a great extra feature too. The interaction system with the manager, team, fans and etc. is great as well. I’m not a fan of getting penalized but getting in trouble for gambling before 21 years old was pretty funny and added some realism. The rising cost of energy drinks is terrible. Marking the price up the better you play is very unnecessary and makes no sense considering how cheap energy drinks are irl. The lack of character customization and the fact I can’t chose my own number is bad too. Also the penalties received in situations should be shortened. This game would really benefit for having a “No Ads” purchase option. All the ads are terrible. Please add it in.

Potential. This game has good mechanics, but the rating system needs a major rework. I’ve had games twitch three home runs, and still gotten a 2.0(out of 10) rating. The pitching mini game has major issues at the moment as well. The directions are simply to “spin and tap” but there is next to no way to figure out where the ball is going to spin to, and you have to tap way high just to maybe get it in the strike zone. With some fixes, the game could be good.

Finally a game where I can just be 1 batter. Being a batter playing just my at bats as I climb the ranks is the ultimate scenario. I got a couple friends into this where we each just bat one player and fastforward the rest of the most boring sport in America. They’re hooked. So I was disappointed when I was forced to pitch, and run and catch. All of which are insanely boring, simple and dumb. So back to batting. I want to feel what a real 90 mph slider feels like. What is up with the super slow pitch? So unrealistic it’s unbelievable. And a running list of plays in between at bats? Lame. Show the diamond. Baseball superstars 2012, 2013 had excellent mechanics but a few stupid features.

Close but could be better. I love this game and think it has lots of potential. My first problem is with the player rating system. I’ll have games where I hit 4/4, complete every pitch, and fail no fielding yet I still get negative rating from my team, even when we win! It’s nearly impossible to level up. Second, my first season I had .405 AVG and 33 HRs but didn’t make the cut for a C league team, this doesn’t seem like a players numbers are given enough weight. Lastly, I enjoy all the gameplay minus the running, it just doesn’t make sense, I dislike the phone spamming. Thank you for all your hard work I look forward to what the game will eventually become.

Great concept (has some bugs). This game is very fun. But does have some issues like why is their no triples?. And the graphics aren’t great along with animations are subpar at best but the games mechanics more than make up for that I find myself playing for hours. I got this game because it came from the same developers as retro bowl which btw I love! Overall great concept just feels a little rushed.

Good game but needs something…. I think this game is great, the batting is fun, and so is the pitching and catching of the ball. But my problem that I think would make the game easier is when the ball rolls on the ground. What I mean by that is when the batter hits the ball and you have to Run to the ball and throw it to you’re teammate. The problem with this is that half the time, the ball flies way to the left or way to the right , leaving no time to throw the ball to you’re teammate, who is VERY SLOW, so they can throw the ball to second. Another problem is running bases. It will tell you weather it’s 1. Very easy 2. Easy 3. Risky 4.Very risky This is fine, only it’s inaccurate, because it doesn’t factor in you’re running skill. So say “third: easy”, when you would try to run their with say 15 speed skill, you would more than likely get out, unless you’re lucky

Why just why. It’s a great game don’t get me wrong, the animation is good, the details look pristine for a simple mobile game, the gameplay is amazing even if sometimes it may register late or early. It’s a really good game but why is the tutorial 20 years long, why do I need to be taught every single thing 20 times and after have to do them again. I can’t even access the settings to turn down the music volume, I can’t do anything without finishing a game, buying something I don’t even need but they make me buy and then have to play another game even if I don’t want too. I love this game but omg how annoying it is.

Very fun game, with two annoying features. This game is very fun! However it does have some annoying features that can interfere with your experience. A ground ball in the infield, up to a ball in the hole on the warning track, are all singles. Only balls that touch the fence are doubles. Also most of the trainings are fun except the batting one where you have to hit the target, the difficulty spike is way too steep compared to everything else. Still a fun and addictive game, but these things will stand out a lot once you play more than a season.

Great game but…. Very addictive game! I love the progression you can get as your player grows and improves. There is very little not to like about the game. However, I know I dont like when your teamates “borrow” something from you, wreck it, then the game takes popularity points from you…if you dont let them borrow it, it takes points from you anyway…doesnt make sense. My biggest complaint is you will not go far without purchasing equipment, trainers or agents. Just cant. My second game I am playing without any purchases and man, its tough! I am level 78 with my first player but I had to buy to keep it going. I guess it speaks on how addictive this game can be!

Amazing Game. No triples etc.. This game is great. However the only way to keep playing is by watching advertisements and wasting all your coins on energy drinks. It would be much better if it had chilled out on the energy drink prices or just lower the amount of energy used when upgrading skills.

Fun game, needs improvement. I’ve been playing this for a little while now and the playing aspect is great. It’s just the off-field aspect that needs work. You don’t make enough money to buy energy and have a good lifestyle. I usually wouldn’t care but then your team doesn’t like it for some reason (?). The second you start making more money, they jack up the price of NRG. It’s an energy drink it shouldn’t cost more than a car in game.

Fun but with frustrations. Sponsorship ratings tank way too fast. It’s not actually possible to make it around a base while running without hitting the invisible wall there if you have max stats and +25 speed. Twice I’ve watched video ads for extra rewards after a game and gotten nothing. In the throwing mini game, the ball goes 10-20 feet past the fielder before it registers as an out, causing some failures for me. All of these things are obnoxious. The rest of the gameplay is great though. Hitting homers is quite satisfying. However, room to improve

New Game suggestion. Might I suggest a new game as a fan of your games I would like to see an American football game I know a lot of other fans might like it as well Ex: you start from your senior year of high school the equivalent of the d league of baseball and the better you play the better your offers but keep in mind the better the team there’s a higher chance you get red shirted vice versa then you play 2-4 or 5 years of college football before the draft you’ll get interviewed by different teams and depending on what you say might effect your draft stock once you drafted new things open up like lifestyle, casino, and sponsors you one main sponsor this will be your brand deal along your way you can break records and win championships and be in the hall of fame or you could be a bust riddled with injuries can’t find a team that would keep you If you read this think about it thank you for your time

Great Game. I’m loving the game so far but one thing I am noticing early in the game is the extreme price increase of the NRG drinks. I’m pretty much paying my full salary each week to get one so I can play in the next week, leaving me with very little energy to improve my player or do anything besides that. Maybe this will change for the later seasons but right now the early game seems a little tedious.

Love it. I love it, good graphics. Gameplay is challenging but not extremely hard. Also, your performance affects most of the gameplay, not necessarily your teammates, which I love because your player really makes or breaks the game so you have to improve and strategize. great download for me i can hardly put it down! also 3 save slots so you can start new games. if you chose to pitch and bag you can toggle it on off. the only dislike is the seasons are super long i believe 30 games is a season, personally 15-20 would’ve been better imo and 20 is almost too much lol.

Money pit. This is the worst game I’ve ever played. Impossible to achieve anything without spending a bunch of money. You can’t even get into the starting lineup without maximizing your nrg, which costs as much as your salary. Hit a home run and a double and your performance rating could still be merely 4.5/10. Upgrades have an expiration, the basic gear is a joke which the announcers drag you for using. You’ve taken $20 off of me and I’m riding the pine in the bottom division. Oh and the dialog is obviously created on google translate, for example the hitter steps up to the ‘stand.’ It’s a shame because I got this due to its association with the excellent retro bowl and retro goal games. Fraudulent.

Microtransaction city. For context, I love "Retro Bowl", another game by this developer, so I immediately paid $3.99 for the ad-free version of this game to support them. Unfortunately, the rest of the game is set up to keep making you shell out cash, which made me quit pretty quick. Bad job, devs! Here's how it works: To participate in games you need "energy" which you get by purchasing energy drinks. When you start, you get paid around $20 - $25 per game, and an energy drink costs $20. So you'll make about $5 profit per game if you're doing well. You can just barely compete in the minors with basic equipment, but to compete in higher leagues, you need to upgrade your equipment. Upgrading your equipment costs several hundred dollars, and all the upgrades are temporary and only work for 10-25 games. I hated this mechanic, but figured I'd be able to afford the better stuff once I had won some games and was making more money. I won a few games, renegotiated my contract, and was suddenly making $60 a game. That's when I noticed that energy drinks now cost $50. So you are purposely prevented from making meaningful progress in-game without spending real money. To upgrade from your most basic equipment to the next tier would require playing dozens of games, and then those upgrades would only last for 30 games or so. Or you can just spend $5 to get a few thousand bucks in-game! Bad job guys. I won't be supporting this studio anymore.

Needs some work. Super fun game. I’m a big fan of new star soccer and this game reminds me of it. There are a few bugs that mess up the gameplay, but I’m hopeful they’ll be fixed as more updates come. For instance, my batting rating is always very low every game, despite hitting multiple RBI doubles and home runs. The base running mini game also is a little broken. It will say it’s “easy to get to third base” but I’ll get absolutely hosed trying to run to third. On the other hand, sometimes it will say “very risky to run home” but I cruise into home with plenty of time. If some of these issues get fixed, this could easily become my favorite game on the App Store.

Tutorial is wayyyyyyy too long. 3 games for a tutorial? Like come on ...the game itself is ehhhhh ..the running is stupid ...hitting 9 out of 10 times is a foul ball...but the tutorial is literally 3 full games and also showing you how to equip cards ...but the fact you have to show how to equip cards in different categories that all get equipped the same way by just dragging them on the screen is kinda redundant like why show me how to do the same thing 3 times? And the ads oh man spamming my phone all day long

Disappointing. New Star Soccer is one of my favorite mobile games, if not my favorite. My friends that are soccer fans loved it, too. When I saw New Star Baseball, I, a baseball fan, was excited. But this game is incredibly disappointing in my opinion. It’s weirdly difficult to follow the games as you play in them, and the timelines don’t make sense. You pitch to one batter at a time at different points in the game, but you’re also playing the outfield at different points, too. Hitting was also pretty hard to get used to. I feel like a lot of changes have to be made for me to enjoy this game like I do New Star Soccer.

Good but needs tweaking. Have played the game quite a while but a couple things I don’t care for. I hit over .675 for two straight seasons and hit 43 HRs per season but did not win all star award or anything else. I hate the ground ball throw function as I rarely get the runner out and it brings down rating even though the other areas of performance are very good. If you can make it easier to throw out runners and adjust player ratings I would appreciate it. Good game but if I can never progress after the stats I’ve achieved I’ll likely give up. Thanks for your excellent concept though.

NO TRIPLES!!!. It is really really fun, just there is NO TRIPLES! Say you hit it almost to the wall and it takes em so long to get it just go to second base. I know that if it hits the wall it is a double but I think you should change it to a triple or if it takes em a super long time to get to the ball make it so they can get a triples. That is the only base you can’t hit and get there. Just really annoying other than that it is fun

Almost perfect. Everything is great…. Except the batting. It just seems glitched. I don’t mean the hitting. I mean the rating at the end of the game. I’m in the ultimate league and my rating stays consistently low. I actually do pretty good at batting but it’s depressing when you go 2-4 with a double and a home run and still get a negative 1.4 batter rating. I can’t wrap my head around that at all. Similarly, another game I went 4-4 with two doubles and two singles and received a batter rating close to zero. At least it wasn’t negative right? You’ll have games where you hit the game winning grand slam but you don’t extra credit for that. Still a low rating. You get no credit for singles period. That part just seems unrealistic by baseball standards. I know it’s a game but putting up MVP stats for a 7.5 average rating over the course of the season isn’t appealing. Everything else is great though.

A Great game. So when I started playing new star baseball I was addicted to this game and I keep playing this game but it feels to easy to hit singles and doubles and home runs I think if your star rating gets to 10 your difficulty should go up to medium and then when your star rating gets to 50 or 45 you should go to hard mode I love this game but it just needs what I said.

Bring Stats Back. I first played this game when it first came out and one part I greatly appreciated were the stats for my player. After picking the game up again months later, I noticed they were gone from the player profile and I don’t see why that had to go. It’s nice seeing a concrete number attached to my play. Aside from that, the game is enjoyable, but I have some other suggestions. In New Star Soccer, you could unlock hard mode after playing for a while, and it would be nice if it was in this game too for an extra challenge. Also, I would like there to be an option where pitching happens more often, at least more than the 2 innings currently. Lastly, I’m not a fan of there being a minimum skill rating to get promoted. If I’m getting a 10 every game, I shouldn’t have to play through a full season before getting a call up. Thank you for working so hard to make an enjoyable game, but I would like to see it improved just a little more.

Great game!. Downloaded this game not expecting much, but as I played I got hooked! The batting is great but I wish that there was an option to turn off the circle that shows where the ball will be. The throwing is a bit wonky, and I wish there was an option to turn it off like the pitching. But otherwise it’s a great game to play when you’re bored, especially if you’re a baseball fan!

Needs slight fixes. Never use your cutoff man, it takes them a full second to turn around and throw it. By then the runner is already in the “safe zone”. ( It doesn't matter if the ball made it to the bag first if he is within 10 feet he is safe.) If you hit the foul pole it will be classed as a foul instead of a home run. If you run past a base and try to come back the game wont let you back in the safe zone. Just little things that may make you freak out. Other than that the game is great.

Adjust slow time when batting. Even when the batting skill is 100% the time is still not slow enough for us to handle when batting. It would be better when the time when batting is even slower than it is now, if the batting skill is 100%. So we want the at 100% slow time when batting to be even slower than it is now. That will be better!

Needs Work. Very fun idea, and I was a big fan of NSS so I downloaded this. At first it was fun, but there’s a couple issues. First, the running needs to be revamped because currently it doesn’t make much sense except for spamming The phone. Two, pitching can be simplified. Three, make it easier to progress through the leagues and recalibrate the rating system. My player batted above .600 which is basically a god, and hit home runs more often than not. Truthfully I wasn’t great at throwing, pitching, or running but I was decent. I should be able to progress through the league if my player is so obviously a superstar. Lastly, create a figure where you can change your character’s number.

Solid in concept. The interplay between different aspects of your player’s performance could use some work. I. My most recent game I went 4/4 with three home runs (including a game winning grand slam) but ended up with one star because of my poor pitching performance. That’s not a good reflection of how baseball works. The New Star system seems like it could work for baseball, but there needs to be some more thinking for how the individual aspects work together.

Meh…. First off, the game needs some improvements. Number one, sometimes I got a home run and it says it’s a double. Or I hit a double or even triple but it says I hit a single. Also the hitting seems kind of rigged. I hit fly balls all the time for outs, but I see the ball clear the wall. Second, running the character is so slow even with max speed. The game tells me I could have been safe if I had run faster even though I literally can’t. Pitching needs some work too. The physics are weird. Overall, pretty fun game but needs improvements.

You can only succeed if you pay and pay fast. This game is fun at first, but you quickly run out of energy, which doesn’t refill with time. The only way to replenish energy is to use tokens and buy energy drinks. You don’t make enough tokens to keep buying energy drinks, leaving you no choice but to buy tokens or sit out games and make your coach, team and fans upset. And this is in the lowest league after only a couple hours. So you’re basically forced to pay to even have a decent player in the lowest league, or delete the app after only a couple hours.

Good game but not great. Love the gameplay and the controls. However the energy drains way too fast and the price of energy drinks increasing whenever you make more money is infuriating. This feature feels like a pure cash grab and does nothing but make players lose interest in progressing throughout the game. What is the point of getting a higher salary when you will have to just pay more for everything?

Amazing, just one thing. This game would possibly be the best baseball game if they were to make it realistic, and what I mean by that is being able to lose while still having a game rating of 10. I just don’t like it when you have to have a bad game in order to lose, so if they were to make it where you can lose and still have a good game rating that would be awesome. 😁

Almost there…. This game is fun and addictive. I wish the outfielders on the opposing team weren’t Usain Bolt when it comes to catching line drives that look like they should be base hits! My biggest issue is the disparity in the equipment when at max skill level. My hitting is at max level but because I have the wooden bat I can’t hit as many home runs. The cleats are the worse though. My runner is super slow in the original, though my skill level is almost maxed out. Folks shouldn’t have to spend $$ on equipment that has such a huge impact on the players ability to be productive and progress. The sponsor/player relationship deteriorates too quickly as well. I love this game, it’s my favorite baseball game but needs those few adjustments. I’ll continue to play but refuse to pay.

Fun game but many problems.. Ok first of all, catching is super buggy and it’s almost always getting clipped, or nicked, also they always want you to go to third base. This includes when it’s extremely risky. Third of all you run WAY too slow, even when I got half of max speed it still took forever just to get from first base to second. Fourth, the commentary takes to long. Maybe add a skip button, next update.

Bad and trash. Never buy this thing this game is a piece of garbage if you buy this game I don’t know what you are thinking this is a waste of my time and it’s so rude I literally was about to win the game I just kinda casually still got 5000 more points it’s so rigged and dumb never buy this game ever game

Great game, just needs some more. Others have said this too and I’m not sure why this isn’t more obvious to the devs when testing, but sponsors go down way too quickly. Almost 10 points between 1 game. It just doesn’t make sense why so much of the game would be just spending time with sponsors. Their cards rarely come up when you pick the relationship pack too so it’s a double whammy of just needless attention to sponsors with very little help getting +10 cards for them. Also if you can’t pitch 3 times in one game then why is it an achievement? Adding a home run derby mode would be great and fairly easy to add. The ability to play a whole game with an entire team is the best thing I can think of to offer but that is perhaps a completely different game. Please get rid of the message that pops up after foul balls after the first couple times. It is very unnecessary. Add something else to the ultimate league that is like the World Cup. Maybe olympics or country play to make it more like NSS. It gets stale playing the same season over and over. There needs to be more variety.

Fun game with some annoying flaws. Overall this is a pretty fun game, though there are some rather annoying aspects. - everything you do costs energy, you refill your energy by purchasing energy drinks. The annoying thing is that the cost for one of those drinks is not fixed, but becomes more and more expensive as you level up - the running system is awful, a few times I haven’t even been able to make it one base because I’m given such a small amount of time to run - your performance in game has ZERO impact on your skill ratings. It does impact your relationships with your manager, teammates, and fans, but your skill ratings can ONLY be improved by playing the mini games in between games. Decent game but probably won’t keep playing, there are better baseball options

Almost perfect (NO TRIPLES). I have been playing NSS for years (I dare say I’m one of the best) and have even dabbled in NSC. I’ve been loving this game and have already found success in the ultimate league but here are my suggestions: 1. I have hit in all parts of the field and never got a triple (why is this a statistic) 2. Once you get to the higher leagues, improve the cutoff man or better advertise the straight to second option. 3. Sponsor relations deteriorate too quickly to keep up and there is no direct benefit to having a relationship(unlike NSS) Thank you and I look to all your new games, might I suggest a NS Racing/F1

Fix it please. Why in the world is there not a triple base run in the game.!?! I want to hit a cycle in game and I can’t. Also when you get a trophy or an achievement, we should get some kind of reward for it. When we are in a game we should be able to choose when we use our skill cards instead of them automatically being used at the very beginning of the game. Why not let us choose when to use them.

Fun game with improvement needed.. I have played New Star Soccer for the last 4 years and I was excited for this release. It’s good, but it needs work to be immersive. As the other review mentioned, I batted .600 in my first year and was barely able to move up one league, often receiving low grades. There are also small fixes that would help it feel more realistic. In baserunning, players end the play running off the base, which should be an out. In the playoffs, it doesn’t say how long the series are, so I didn’t know which game would decide the champion until after it happened. The catching mini game is also the hardest one, I think the glove placement isn’t always accurate. I think this game will be the best available after a few updates.

Rating systems broken. Baseball works for the New Star format, but the good/bad binary do NOT work for batting. The rating system is so broken; my form and game rating shouldn’t be ruined because I went 2 for 4 with a single, and RBI double, and two well-hit flyouts. Also running is impossible. Besides that, I love the game and it would be an easy five stars if the player weren’t held to an impossible, unrealistic standard at the plate and unfairly punished for not meeting it.

Imitation baseball in a baseball skin. The good: the concept is good; hitting is kind of fun but too easy. The bad: some of the mini games are frustrating and most are not all that fun. The strange: it doesn’t feel like a game made by people who are baseball fans. The stats certainly aren’t baseball-like; the player profile should show stats like you’d find on baseball reference of on a baseball card, not just total numbers. In game, I’ve seen the phrase, “hanging off first, looking to make ground,” which seems like a google translate version of maybe “taking a big lead-off, looking for extra bases?” I’m not sure, but it’s nonsensical. The entire game feels like this — a google translate version of actual baseball. None of the mini games (batting, pitching, running, or fielding) really feel like baseball. They superficially look like baseball, but don’t contain any of the elements that make baseball fun. Strategic decisions that make good baseball decisions have nothing to do with how this game is played. The weirdness and lack of ever feeling like anything close to baseball kills any fun.

Fun time killer. Overall this game is a blast and a great time killer. The gameplay is a little frustrating sometimes as it can be inconsistent. Things like in the pitching, if you miss enough you’ll get the helping finger icon but even that will cause you to miss. I’ve even had times where I’ve hit the strike zone and the game decides it’s a hit anyway. The batting will also be inconsistent. No matter how lined you you are with the ball , the game will decide if it’s a pop fly or home run. I still enjoy it I just hope they tweak it a little bit more. Biggest gripe is the rising energy drink costs. There should be reason it skyrockets like it does when you can barely afford anything else to balance everything.

Could of been good but not worth the hassle. Starts off great, and all the gameplay mechanics great however you quickly learn how much of a grind it’ll be without buying premium gear or an abundance of energy drinks. Then there’s the ridiculously slow levelling up on top of that. Can smash 4 home runs in a game and come out with a rating under 5 because of 1 or 2 bad pitches/fielding. Of course your rating is linked to the exp gain for your level though so that’s why they have blatantly made the rating system absolutely shocking. Really isn’t worth your time unless your spending money to actually feel like your making some progress.

Good game but 1 complaint. There’s really nothing wrong with this game as I’ve played almost all the other new star games which are also good but this might be the best apart from new star soccer. However 1 complaint I have for this game and all the other games is the unnecessary inflation of NRG drinks. Drinks are cheap irl and it shouldn’t ever raise as nothing else never raises so what is the point for only energy drinks to rise? I’ve seen it get to ridiculous prices in the past and I’m only in my second year and it’s already up to 200 dollars from 20 dollars which is more than my weekly pay check. You’re meant to tell me a standard drink is more expensive than a car and apartment. Crashing. Has started crashing every time I open it now, up to season 10 now can’t play at all what a waste of time

Good game but tutorial needs a skip option. I like all the New Star games, but the tutorials are always so tedious. There needs to be a skip option in all their games.

Enjoyable but ..... Playing the matches is a lot of fun and the interface is an upgrade on the other New Star games. The training minigame for the running skill seems to hit a level that can’t be beaten pretty quickly.

Good game but some gameplay problems. Good game but there are some problems. Firstly, when you train your running, I feel like no matter how fast I swipe I can’t get to home base. The player doesn’t move any faster no matter how fast I swipe. I’m up to running 65. Also when I approach second base the person slows down because the camera changes. Secondly, your match rating can severely be hurt by one pitch? You could also hit several home runs in a game but get below a 5 for your rating. Your score is based on total hits but it says total runs.

More play time. The way you gain energy should be changed. Buying drinks to gain energy isn’t fun and you don’t get enough playing time

Good game but needs fixes. The running and throwing mini games area absolutely dreadful, they need an overhaul, other than that it's a decent game

Solid but room to improve. Game is really great but the fielding/throwing minigame is very frustrating. It takes too long to wind up to throw and there are times where I will be literally as fast as possible and still not get it on time. Also hitting is a bit inconsistent but not bad. Also would be helpful if the trainer and agent worked the same way they do in NSS, because training takes way too much energy and NRG is really expensive. (I understand that you want in game purchases but it’s too obvious)

Bad. Super hard to advance up. I played 6 seasons and couldn't get past double a. So I showed it the door. The soccer game is much better.

No sac flys. Bases are loaded no outs I’m up and I hit fly ball it was back and there was no sac fly

Energy. It’s so annoying who I have to buy drinks to refill my energy, I don’t have enough to purchase other things

Mediocre. Fielding game, is trash. Depth perception is difficult in the catch game although it’s one of the better once. Running game is properly the most consistent one. Batting don’t make sense, it’s so inconsistent although you hit it perfect, it drops straight in the hands of the players. Last but not least, unless you hit the wall you’ll always only get a single! 🤔 Concept is good but way to many things are left to chance to make it enjoyable, in the long run.

Great idea but. The idea is there but the gameplay just isn’t and after you play for a bit you basically have to spend real money

Blisters. The base-running mini-game needs you to swipe your finger across your phone’s screen. A major problem of this is that it causes blistering after a while. It desperately needs revamping to avoid this.

New Star Basketball. You guys should really develop a new star basketball game! That would be sick!

Developer doesn’t know enough about baseball. I hit 3-4 had a grand slam 1 error on defense and got a 3.0 rating and lost relationship with my manager, also I think you should be able to choose between being a pitching, infielder or outfielder.

Love this game!. I downloaded this game a few days ago and I love it! I play it everyday and I don’t know anything about baseball!

Good but ratings and benching system create negative feedback loop. If you put together a few poor performances and get benched it is quite hard to get a good enough rating to start again. You can come in in the 6th inning and go 2/3 batting and get 2 batters out but it will only give you a 3.5 rating and you continue to get benched.

Good game. I like the game. The game play is good and understandable. Storylines are good. The problem and reason i gave 3 stars is the energy. The fact that it can’t regenerate overtime is a problem. It truly makes this game just a pay to play and then we’ll always kill the game.

Money is an issue. The game itself is very fun, but there isn’t enough money gaining opportunities compared to the amount that you have to spend on energy(for playing and gaining skills) and for extra things like your lifestyle. Energy overtime should be refilled. That would make it a bit easier to save money

So much potential… but. Foul Ball Foul Ball Foul Ball! ALWAYS HITTING EARLY! I follow everything to the T. “Ball needs to fill up the circle… blah blah blah” Dude no matter what I do it’s always going to the right field or as I mentioned a constant foul ball. This needs to be looked at. This is such a turn off. I have more fun playing RAID and not paying a single dime compared to this game.

Good but it cheated me out of some coins. During playing horse racing I ran into a problem with the game I bet 20 and your game exited me out and cheated me out of $20 when I logged back in I started out with $75 and I got back in I was at $55

Pay To Win Garbage. The game starts off fun and has really engaging mechanics that let you play on all sides of the game. You will then get to a certain point where you will lose no matter what as your skills are not high enough. Guess what will help your player gets his skills up??? Paying money. Also another issue is you can literally hit a double and still lose points for doing so... like why? Has a decent base of a game but a lot of the surrounding mechanics are just pay to win garbage. 2/5

this game is awful. first of all, EVERY TIME I HIT THE BALL, it’s a groundout. this game makes me want to punch a wall 500 times. maybe not center the game around batting and get rid of the energy crap i want to actually have fun playing a game for once. retro bowl is better. fire whoever decided to make this wretched game

You should be able to sim games. So times I get bored and I feel you should be able to simulate games so the season is faster.

Good game. Good game so far. Only complaint I have is that when I’m fielding the ball it always “clips” my glove. Other than that, I’d say it’s pretty good!

Decent. I think the game is perfectly fine, besides the running, it has been almost impossible for me to level it up, and I think running shouldn’t be constant spamming and more casual like all the other skills, besides that everything else is fine right now.

Horrible game, you have to pay all of your coins to keep up your energy, if you have one bad game you get benched, and the ratings are awful, if you hit a HR, a double, steal two bases, catch 3 outs, but have 2 pop flies, 2 missed throws, and a missed catch your rating is 3/10 and your team, manager, and fans get mad at you This game is stupid and they clearly don’t understand how baseball is played

Decent game but it’s a Money Grab. It’s a good game and it’s fun when you have nothing to do or just have some time to kill. But the energy and it keeping you poor in the game is way to sell you stuff in terms of equipment or just in game currency. It’s a shame cuz the game has potential for more but I refuse to spend money on energy or equipment just to pay to win.

Annoying. The game is kinda fun when you can play but all the side stuff is annoying, having to buy the energy is stupid bc it’s how much you make in a game, makes it impossible to buy other stuff without paying real money. Also the relationships are stupid, why even have a casino if you are immediately punished for using it

This is not a baseball game. This is a lifestyle game centered on baseball. I had a game go to extra innings while up 10-3, as a releif pitcher you come in at random times to pitch to a single batter. There are no stats. Its not a baseball game. A shame because the game mechanics are what give it the three stars.

Awful. About as far from baseball as can be. Super boring game. I Hit a HR every AB. Every fly ball is super easy. Pitching is just dumb. Running the bases and you don’t even touch them as you round them? I’d give it less than 1 star, but you know how these apps work. They don’t allow worse than 1 star which is what this deserves. Not worth even giving it a try.

Ehh. Game is fun but immediately becomes pay to play. You don’t get energy back, so you have to pay it every single time. Which energy now costs 2-5 times your game salary. So you literally never get to play. Unless you ad yourself for countless time.

Frustration. The game is great, its just that whenever i running from base to base, im swiping as hard as i can and still cant get to the base. Also whenever i hit the ball, its always calling a foul ball.

NRG. I love this game but I hate how much the prices go up for NRG (30 coins) when you get more money. So if you lose coins and can’t afford NRG you lose relationships and then can’t afford any lifestyle points.

This game is fun!. It took me awhile to get my player adjusted so I was half way decent at the game. It took me a few seasons without having to spend real money. The only thing I wish it had was the batting average. Other than that this game is really fun!

NEW SPIN ON BASEBALL!. It’s a new spin on the game and it’s a blast! Easy to follow controls and storyline. Still takes some practice to get familiar with the mechanics but I love it!

I love playing, but…. I can get nowhere at all with progressing my career. If I’m lucky, I make just enough to afford one can of NRG to replenish my health and that’s it. Lose the game, relationships with manager, fans, and team drop: shampoo, rinse, repeat. I made an attempt to spend money to get an upgrade pack, but payment refused to process despite everything being in order. Sadly, planning to delete this one.

Not that good. It’s a fine game but when you bet money on anything you will always lose it feels like I’ll bet on horse racing and I’ll bet on the favored one and it will get last place they need to fix it now!

Love the whole new star series. Not only this game but every single new star game is amazing! I have never once been disappointed by one of their games and I recommend installing any of them if looking for a new mobile game to pick up!

Has potential. There’s no way the same team that made Retro Bowl made this game. Retro Bowl has none of the gimmicks employed by this game to get you to spend money. Sad because the game has okay bones outside the obvious attempts to get you to spend. Just let me make a one time payment to actually make the game less annoying and I would.

Not good. I don’t know, IMO the game dynamics and just overall game style is not great. Batting is ok. Fielding is meh as far as catching but throwing is UGLY. Base running is ok but could be better. Realism is important to me but I know it’s a GAME. However couldn’t they have made the runners actually touch and stand on the base? Strangely predictable as well. Guess it’s just not what I’m looking for in a baseball game. I’m deleting this one.
