Great Game; One Feature Would Add Great Functionality. This is a great game. (1) offline play! (2) a great game to pick up and put down. For quick plays here and there it would be great to be able to set lineups from the “Team Info” interface where you can see the players management concerns in one view. This would make setting lineups much easier and quicker.

Really fun but needs work. TL;DR: Good gameplay, players never have energy so you can’t train them, also you never make money and can’t buy things I love the gameplay, the way to pass and dribble and shoot is great. However, it’s so easy to win games. In my first full season I am currently 19-1-0, I should not be that good yet if ever. Plus, there are many out of match things that are lacking. Players should gain energy between games and at halftime. If you don’t rest team at least every other game you will have no one that can play. This also makes it impossible to train the players which always makes them upset they aren’t training. This also means my team is never getting better which is a problem. There just needs to be more energy automatically given. Plus, it is soooo hard to make money and I never buy anything because I’m always broke and stuff is expensive. It takes me a whole season to upgrade 1-2 facilities to level 2, buy maybe a player and that’s it. I love the gameplay and overall feel but a lot of managing aspects need rebalancing.

Fun game but tutorial and seasons r 2 long. The game and its mechanics are fun. The “new” display is also cool. However the tutorial takes so long, it must have been close to 5 minutes that I was having to go through these tutorial steps. A “skip tutorial” button would be a good fix. I think the game should teach you how to play in the actual games, the simple things like upgrades and stuff then put the rest in the help tab. I would download and play this game again but I don’t want to waste time going thru the tutorial again. Also the seasons are way too long. They should be shorter. This could be done by adding a “simulation” option. If you still wanted to play the matches you could.

Best Football/Soccer game out there. TIPS!. Very engaging, in depth enough to keep you involved and thinking, while also casual enough to relax and just play some footy. Something I didn’t find out until many many hours in, you can purchase players from other leagues. If you search, you can only see players available in your league, but if you’re playing in a cup match like the UCL or UEL, and you go into your LEAGUE menu, you can see teams in your group stage or in your fixture list. When you tap on those teams you can tap on any one of their players and attempt to buy them. You can also look at The Who are the top scorers or who has the most assists and purchase those players as well. There are a lot of hidden gems on other teams in other leagues for a good price, you just have to look.

Deceitful, another typical loot box game.. They make the first season really easy and fun, and the best season after your promotion!, everything starts falling apart. It become borderline impossible to win any games, your players actually refuse to play on the field and will purposefully give opposition the ball. The solution? Pay with really money card packs that contain better players. But you have to buy lots of packs because the only good player wants other good players with him. This is the equivalent of EA games loot boxes. Awfully sad to see New Star Games go down this path of pay to win only games. Save your mental energy and get a different games.

Great game with room for improvement. Everything is balanced well and costs for players/staff of varying capabilities are reasonable. I love this game and I have played, and left reviews for over 100 games on the App Store. My only major concern is having to start completely back over whenever trying to move leagues. It should be changed so that if u place first in ur current league, I.e. USA2, and win the championship, you should have the option to advance to a higher league, i.e. USA1, while maintaining all ur progress, or at very least keeping ur facilities. Other than that, it’s a great game.

Was great. I was having the time of my life playing this game up until it started asking for information. That by itself is fine except when I say no it freezes up and just goes white. So I tried saying yes, then it asks for an opt out email (which if you’re not paying attention you will skip through,) when I gave it then the game was in a phase where it was stuck sending it. When I didn’t give it then it worked up until I started the game again where I had to repeat the entire process from the begging again. I don’t mind giving information especially to devs but this just seemed sleezy and I don’t like that the one bug had to do with information.

Decent game overall. I like the concept of the game with the managing and all but there are some things that could be improved. For example, you start out in the bottom league. My team finished first but my players ratings were well below some other teams ratings so I lost a good amount of games. I was fine with that cause I thought I’d move up one league and still be able to compete. Nope. I moved up 4 leagues and now my team is nowhere near the level of other teams. I didn’t realize that this was gonna happen so now my team gets hammered every game and I have serious player issues. I think each league you win you move up one league not a ridiculous amount. There was no warning or anything about this so it’s kind of screwed up my entire progress. There are also game control problems. For instance, you can’t lob the ball for a cross or play it over defenders. Also, when you give a pass, you can’t determine power. So lots of times I’ll give a through ball that goes all the way to the keeper even though I put it a little ahead of a player. I know I wrote a lot of things but this game is fun and addicting but could be a lot better.

Good game but nearly unplayable. It’s nearly impossible to get energy and that makes your players injured so you can’t improve your squad. Everything is too expensive. The skill gap between divisions is too large. This is basically why the game isn’t as good as it can be in a nutshell. The game is free but you really need to spend some money if you want the game to not be crazily hard. I get that it’s freemium but you should still be able to play without having to pay. Players should gain energy at halftime and after matches and make it so you can buy packs with the in game currency. Then I will leave a more positive review (if you improve the game)

Player ratings and glitches. Quality game and the best football game for a phone however the player rating are a bit broken... I dont know how the best team in Denmark’s best player would only be a 56 with 75 potential. Also I think as a manager you should be able to change teams, it gets boring after you’re in the same league for a few season and your team hasn’t gotten much better. There is also one glitch that happens where you make a substitution and the game freezes and it only seems to happen to me when I’m winning. Thank you

Fantastic game. This game is fantastic. One thing I would improve is to give a bit more selection over which position your youth academy players play. I have a player retire, and it would be very helpful to fill that position again, but I have no control over what position I call up. If you wanted to make it more complex, you could show a star rating of the players you have at each position in the academy so you could choose, knowing that you may not be choosing the best rookie because of a positional need.

Could be Improved. Huge fan of the original NSS and now manager too. The games are fantastic. However in this particular installment there are some serious improvements that should be made. What I loved about NSS was that it was not a money grab like other games in the App Store, however manager feels more like one. You truly have to grind to make any kind of money to buy upgrades for facilities and better players, but you simply cannot grind because the players on your squad are completely gassed after 1-2 matches. The whole energy aspect of this new game is dreadful. This leads you to either buy player packs or NRG with real money. No thank you. If there was an option to buy player packs with the in-game currency you earn from playing it would be a little better but for some reason this just isn’t an option. The gameplay is otherwise amazing it’s just tough to play when your best players are constantly tired or injured.

Frustrating paywall, greedy developers.. If you are trying to play this game without paying, there is a paywall you hit that makes progressing further impossible without facing a chain of losses that will make you lose everything you built up so far. ... The game mechanics are solid, but the pay to win paywall makes this game unplayable after two seasons. ... All real money you spend in this game are on temporary upgrades. Players bought age into retirement, upgrade cards are lost with the player when sold or retired. ... If you are going to make us pay for something, we would like to see a permanent purchase and lower priced in game currency. You are already making us watch Advertisements to fund your game. Stop being greedy and consider offering us flash sales (85-95% discounts) and lower bux purchase prices then I will fix this rating to a 5 star. ... As of now, any money you throw into this game is lost in a vacuum. Big purchases for small returns that disappear as soon as it came. ... Also, there is NO ACCOUNT LINKING. A single uninstall or a accidental file corruption can eliminate months of progress and money you paid, GONE in an instant. ... See how paying big money seems stupid at this point? Please read this and take this into careful consideration developers.

Like the update but.... Definitely when changing clubs. I think less should be taken away. I know. Jumping from first division and being champion, doesn’t make sense to go to a different club and start at second division. Also when switching clubs. That club you switching to should have some sort of upgrades on facilities and also a signing bonus. When from millions of bux to like 50,000 bux... no point in my belief to change clubs and go to a complete downgrade. You should be advancing and accomplishing more and earning different cups. Also you should be able to buy players from different nationalities and not just from the country you’re playing in. That way you can refer to players from your old club and sign your best onto your new crew! Great game. I play everyday but some major updates should be done

Soo close. I love the gameplay, it’s really fun and addicting. Nothing beats the feeling of a well orchestrated plan coming together for a win. The biggest thing I wish was that you could select more than end of game reward. It would truly enhance the gameplay a remarkable amount. The opportunity cost of not selecting either the skills coach or fitness coach is ridiculous. And the only reason I can see for having the scout is so that you can complete board missions. The other thing that really pisses me off is that when you scout or bring up a rookie, while they are good players, they are never for a position I care about. It seems like they are the least useful position for your squad at that time. I got like 3 DRs in a row. I wish there was a way to select a position you want to train the rookies to.

Solid game, but…. There is massive frame rate drops when defending the opposing teams counter attack. Another thing is i’m on iPhone 12, there is a tab at the bottom to swipe up and it closes your app to bring you to home screen, when i try grabbing someone at the bottom of the screen quick and I grab the tab instead, it messes the play up, make the game fullscreen. Finally, the prices are kinda crazy, yes the game is free thank you, but $3.99 for a player that stays for 60 games then wants to leave because i can’t develop him?! kinda crazy.

Excellent game, could be improved. First off I’d like to say that this game is ingenious and creative, and I’m surprised at how much fun it is. I’ve played new star soccer before but this is amazing. However, I have a few ideas that could improve the game. There should be events where you have to defend and clear the ball, where the opposing side has possession and you have to stop them. Also, there could be an event where you’re the goalkeeper and you have to save the ball or be punished with a goal. Some other things: passing back behind the half or passing to the goalie should not stop the play, possibly make a way to cancel passes, maybe find a way to be able to obtain more energy cards when selecting that option, and have player packs that you can buy with in-game currency. I feel that the game could be better with these, but it certainly is fun and unique 👍.

Great game, needs updates to fit the real life world. Fantastic and addicting game. However now with new teams (expansions, rebrands, etc), dissolved teams (i.e. Bury), and new competitions (UECL) needs to be implemented in this game. New stadium/facility upgrades (like level 7+) and harder difficulty options would make this game a lot more interesting as well. Also crazy crowd reactions when scoring a goal would also add lots of value to the game. I hope to see it happen soon!

Having a bit of an issue. New Star Manager is one of the best sports manager games out there. Every aspect of the app is good. The you you buy a player or staff member is good. The way you upgrade a player of staff member is good. The way you upgrade a building is not the best because it gets very expensive very quickly, but other than that I like it. The only thing I will criticize is the way you play the actual games. I don’t like how you only play short clips of the game, rather than the whole thing. And I guess I get how it’s supposed to be more of a managing game than a player game, but it’s just something to think about. My main issue is that starting yesterday, when I open the app within a few seconds a white screen comes up, and it doesn’t go away. I’m not sure if it has to do with the update that happened yesterday, or something else. Either way I can’t play the game, and it’s driving me crazy. This game is definitely my favorite game at the moment, and now I can’t play it at all. Please do something about this as soon as possible. For now I am downloading another manager game to play, so that should give you some encouragement to fix it.

Great Game. Obsessed with this game can’t wait for the updates to come in so that you can personalize your own kit and team badge!!!! Great game I literally play this for hours, the adds are really annoying, which hinders the game play in the beginning but after I realized I really like the game so I decided to purchase the game with no adds. If you like managing and having a say in matches you will like this game!!!! Definitely recommend.

Amazing to play. Having played NSS for the longest time it takes some getting used to when it comes to the mechanics of this game in particular with the dribbling, shooting, passing and all those good stuff. But nonetheless the game is a masterpiece and easy to navigate that makes it unique in its own way. One thing I wish the developers can change is the In-App Purchases. The reason is who would really pay $4.99 just for a name change or a kit change, like really???

Very enjoyable game with one issue. Love this game but ever since I got it I have not been able to sub out a player who receives a red card. I can change formation and continue playing with the player who got the red card except when it’s the goalie. When the goalie gets a red card I have to restart the game.

Pros and cons. It’s really fun and addicting it just gets annoying because the players are constantly out of energy and it’s almost impossible to have a fully energized team. And that would be fine if it weren’t for the fact then when their not energized they are constantly hurt. And since they are de-energized then you have to use your card bonus on energy instead of skill boosts. Then without the boosts the players are left unhappy. And i find it dumb that the only packs you can get are ones you have to pay real money for. They’re should be some you could buy with in game currency even if it’s just low leveled players at least i could then get more people on the bunch to use when energy is low.

Pretty good but needs work. I think the developers need to realize this is a soccer game not rugby, why is it when the opposition get the ball they automatically kick it off field? When you are in the oppositions half of the field the game should still be playable not automatically ending play and making you use a restart. Allow the purchase of cards to be used by in game money! Also it seems that some of the games are literally scripted, it doesn’t matter how many goals you score or how many times you replay the game, you will not win that game as in the last dying seconds of the game even if you are 7-0 up, all of a sudden the opposition comes back at a ridiculous rate and you lose anyway, like you never had a chance, Needs plenty of improvement

Has potential. This would be a great game but there needs to be a few things worked out first. Firstly, when you’re chasing the ball you have to use your finger on the player you want to use but this often means covering up the portion of the screen that you want to move in to essentially making you blind to whatever is happening in that portion of the field. Secondly, sometimes this game feels very scripted, like it knows you have an objective to accomplish so the difficultly gets turned way up to make it near impossible. Third, the energy levels on players need to be reworked so that players regain at least some energy between games. Without this you’re constantly needing to focus on energy cans and, because of that, you can barely focus on player development. If they can fix these problems this could be a great game.

Great game, would love an update.... I think this is a great game but would love to see more updates on the game. Like instead of paying the players through matches they are paid through yearly contracts. Also allowing customs on the players like changing names and numbers would be great. I love the different leagues with the abilities to change leagues and challenge yourself but I would definitely recommend a change to the formats to make it look a little cleaner. Presentation is just as important as gameplay. I absolutely love this game and hope you give some ideas a bit of consideration

Love this game!. This game is easily the best soccer game on the App Store. I do wish there were more stats — you can only see player stats for the current season and you can’t see transfer history (which would be helpful in deciding if you should sell a player or not — am I making a profit?). I get that takes up more storage, but I’d be OK with it. Being able to manage a national team would be sick. The game isn’t as easy as New Star Soccer, but the gameplay doesn’t take long to master. If you let go and it goes to the shooting screen, taking away the cancel button would make it more challenging. Overall, though, I LOVE this game. Main thing was I wish there was more stats and transfer history bc those are so important for a manager. Thanks sm!

I loved this game until.... This is a great game if you can accept it for what it is—its a manager game. The players don’t matter, they are merely insignificant atoms that can be rearranged at any point. There is no story, just a timeline you move throughout. One you change leagues, it doesn’t matter if you went undefeated for 3 or 4 seasons, it doesn’t matter if you have an entire squad of black-quality players, it doesn’t matter if you have a manager rating in the 100’s, it doesn’t matter if you have a stockpile of coaching cards, it doesn’t matter if you max out every facility, every stadium component, every players skills. Once you move leagues you start over. Manager level one. An Assistant who doesn’t know about your historic successes in a different country. If you want to build from the bottom, start a new save slot. Don’t get rid of a team you’re not ready to lose. Last thing, the most recent update was 9 months ago. This game as it is is all you’re going to get

This game is awesome but.... This game is awesome and I love playing it. Have been a fan of New Star games for years but recently the stupid data management ad keeps popping up. No matter is I press agree or disagree it pops up after the next game and sometimes it freezes so I have to restart the app repeatedly. Not only that we don’t get enough cards to level up our staff. It’s kinda frustrating because it seems you can’t level them up unless you buy cards.

Great amount of depth, simple, and addictive. I'm not one to leave reviews for apps but I have been playing this game nonstop for weeks if not months at this point! This is an incredibly well-thought game, comparable to the likes of Football Manager or career mode in FIFA. The gameplay is simple yet engaging, I never feel like it's a drag to play through the games. Since it's a mobile game, the pick-up-and-play aspect is really convenient which is why I think I've been so immersed in this app. The only complaint I have is the aggressive marketing of in-app purchase. However, I've had this app since July and I've never bought in-game currency and I'm doing just fine. I will admit I've watched a lot of ads because of this app. Ads are everywhere, after a game you can expect to see an ad. However, I rarely play more than one game at a time, so realistically it's not too annoying. By watching an ad you can increase your players' energy. Usually I hate this in mobile games, but I watch a bunch of ads anyway because I wanna support the creators. I just play them in the background while I listen to music. So again, great app and an amazing upgrade to the original New Star Soccer!

Fun times. I really enjoy this game because it gives you total control of a club like FIFA. However it’s hard managing a bunch of players who all feel like they should get regular football regardless of their skill level. Maybe adding player roles and a loan system could help? Also, this may be asking too much but there needs to be more done for the defense. Whenever the other team gets a chance, your defense, regardless of skill level, is very likely to concede and there’s nothing you can do about it. Still a very immersive experience.

More in depth and interaction with city?. Great game so far. I like how real it’s starting to feel. I like it. But I honestly think it would be great I think. If you added more interactions with the city you are in. Maybe more depth in merchandise and buildings. Maybe change what the city or location of your city is. Maybe add paint colors or building styles? Or host special events for the fans like autograph signings or like special charity events for the fans. Also maybe add ability to change player numbers? That’s what I got so far. I’ll keep you

Needs some tweaks. This game has such a solid foundation but there are some things that can make it very frustrating. First of all the sort of downward spiral you can get stuck in is nearly comical. Let's say you lose 2 or 3 games in a row, now your players are concerned about team form which makes them unhappy, which causes them to make mistakes which makes you lose more, causing then to get more upset. You end up getting stuck as they keep making mistakes and it becomes very difficult to string a couple wins together, as only 1 win has a minimal effect. Maybe to combat this there could be some type of boost to happiness for breaking a losing streak? As the players would be happy for finally getting a win. Another thing that ties into this is player happiness. Maybe some players should be less effected and some be more (and not just from traits) Again tying with the happiness, I'd like to see a system where you can designate a players role. There's only 11 positions, not everyone can be a starter. But if you could search/sign people who are ok with being rotational players or subs it would also help with the happiness problem.

packs cost money. I love the developers of the game and the new star franchise. New Star Soccer Manager is a great game, but the players lose energy way too fast and they don’t give them a lot of recovery time either. The free NRG they give you isn’t enough and you can’t get more unless you either pay for it or play another game which reduces the players energy more. If the packs could cost another earn-able currency then it could help out with the people who don’t do in app purchases. I hope you guys can balance the rate at which the players lose energy. Once again love the game and good work with the gameplay!

Has Potential. Hopefully, I will be able to update to a higher star review in the future. The base game is good, but needs some work. Unless you are winning the league, the board, fans, media, etc are all going to be upset. Not realistic, especially if you were just promoted. Once you are able to get silver + level players, they get upset because it’s difficult to get silver level trainers, so you cannot train them. There is also an issue with the keeper getting a red card. You have to play with a keeper and it doesn’t let you sub them out. You lose major points during interviews that test your knowledge on random facts about your play through. Interesting concept, but probably should only have positive effects, otherwise it makes the game annoying to play. Once they fix the balance of the game, I will probably come back to playing it.

Solid and excited to see the future. This game is truly remarkable when it comes to its ability to combine fun and challenging gameplay with an in depth simulation of managing a football club. This alone makes this game an amazing experience for me the only things that could Improve this game are. 1. Having the ability to manage a national team. 2. More customization of club kits and crest etc. 3. Manager transfers or the ability to manage another team. Also an extra thing that could be interesting would be the the ability to select a location or city that your team plays in and have certain rival teams which can correspond (teams from the same city or area or maybe a team who tend to beat you ) these rival teams would serve as extra objectives and could be used to make playing in the lower leagues in the beginning of the game more interesting as playing a rival team could mean could mean losing or gaining a large amount of trust from the fans or board. This same affect could be used if I player was bought from or sold to a rival club.

I have always been a fan of new star but.... I love literally everything about this game, however three things should be improved. One of them is the free kicks, they are either great scoring opportunities or pointless play resets. What I mean by that is that you can either directly shoot it or you are forced to pass it to someone next to you, there are no real set piece plays in the game. And I think this is due to the next problem. Why can’t you lob the ball? Pls pls add that with the passes just lets select the player and give us an option to hit the ball in a certain way or just two passing options. At least when the player is in a certain position, give the high cross option pls. Finally, the tutorial is kind of sloppy and I don’t feel like it fully introduces the functions of the games. What I mean by that is that there is a lot of managerial goals set by your bosses that I don’t really know how to achieve because the tutorial doesn’t really cover those aspects. For everything else, this game is pure gold.

Fun but glitchy at times. 5 Stars cause this is actually a manager game I really enjoy and can’t get enough of, I love that the players have personalities and are all different in different ways. However the only problem I have is that when I click on the card packs after I click shop it just freezes. And I have to close it out and just play

IS THIS REAL?. How?! You guys went from an amazingly fun game with New Star Soccer, to an even more fun, slightly different 3D version(which is perfect, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. And if it’s just a little worn out then a little upgrade never hurt did it?!)!! And the best part is that this game you can play for hours on end and never once have to worry about paying or having to get off to get energy back or something!! This company truly is a modern marvel, and should be considered the ideal model for other companies to follow. What I love is that they seriously brought every issue that they had to the table with NSS and clearly, they said “what can we do right now to either fix this, or to make it more fun?” And they absolutely nailed it! Easily the best game I’ve ever played. So far no bugs, no glitches, just another excellent game created by this company. Can’t wait for more from them! Thank you so much!

EEEEE meme/ Some Changes Please. I recently picked this game up and I must say it’s quite nice. He concept of managing your team is cool. However, there are some changes that would skyrocket the ratings. The fact that the card packs and customization costs money and not in-game currency is kinda disappointing. Please change this so you can customize and improve your squad when necessary. Another nice touch would be being able to play the full 90 minutes. When you are limited to only attacking situations, many outside factors can alter the game completely. And maybe being able to choose between the current controls and a gamepad with buttons for each action. Finally, and I know you have seen this every where, ADD A LOB BUTTON. Would make the game so much fun and easier.

Should be 5 stars but... The energy and team improvement systems are lacking badly. This game has a ton of potential however. Players should generate energy in between games. One game should not completely make a player useless and extremely vulnerable to injury. The ability to acquire better players is also lacking. There should be a way to get packs without paying real money. Possibly another form of ingame currency that can be earned by winning matches or completing task, or leveling up your manager. The fact that there is no other way to get a pack is very unfortunate. Players should also progress or regress naturally whether that is at a halfway point in the season or after each year goes by. I want to grind to improve but I feel as if the developers of this game are heavily focused on forcing players to purchase packs. I hope there comes better ways to improve. Really want to continue to enjoy this game seeing that I­t­ has a ton of potential.

Should be 5 Stars but minor problem. I love this game and I have had a lot of fun with it for the past week or so but I just have one minor problem. The European leagues as qualification has a minor problem. I got knocked out in the playoff (the last round) round of the champions league qualifiers and I was expecting so Europa League Football but instead I had no Europe an games. I hope the can fix it where if you get knocked out in the 2nd round qualifying of champions league then you go to the 3rd round qualifying of Europa League instead of going cause that’s how it works in real life. You also can’t transfer list players which is kind another small, but important piece. Plus if your a really bad team and you face a really good team, I understand they will Score a lot but they also score every free kick which is pretty unrealistic. Otherwise it’s a great game and I enjoy it a lot.

DEVELOPERS PLEASE READ. I love this game. I played New Star Soccer before and haven’t played it ever since this game came out since it’s so addicting. Everything was going great until a recent update starting glitching out the game. Sometime it’ll say one player failed to pass to another, which means they dislike each other. But not it says that one player failed to pass to themselves! It cause you to get scored on and makes no sense. Also sometimes when you make substitutions It won’t let you make the subs you want and keep people in it and only works if I put a person in the wrong position. The game got messed up from some update because this never came up when it first came out. The idea is good and the game is great, but I think the latest update messed some things up.

It’s a great game but I want to address some issues. So the gameplay in this is great and fantastic that’s what make this game really fun but here’s a problem you have to buy training cards, upgrades for your staff and players, and finally you have to buy players which that seems to be a problem for me or anybody else that’s the part I don’t like about buying stuff cause it feels like a waste of time buying stuff and I think they should make the cards free because it seems fair and that’s how I like about games getting free upgrades

Wish you had the choice. I wish you had the choice to be your own player like be a pro... almost like your other game but more into this game. Invest and make millions of coins if your player gains up to speculation with his contract I wish the player and this game would allow you to make millions considering that it’s 5 dollars for 1million coins so yeah coins aren’t hard to get but in this game if you don’t use real money they are hard to get. and is amazing you know ? But it’s only an idea and I honestly hate the happiness problem in this game and the player energy problem it makes the game hard and its to much to handle and it’s hard to play a lot of games cuz we can’t buy anything with coins to make them not tired it’s a pain. Please take this into consideration.

Update the stats page. I’ve been playing this game for years and have been a supporter for the game for years as well. The game overall is solid and it’s one of the best manager games out there. My ONLY problem with this game is that before you could see the stats of the league leaders depending on what league your in. But now they update the stats every round, which to be honest takes away from the game ALOT. Mostly because your playing a new round almost every two to three games so your players who have 30 goals and 30 assist every season don’t even come up on the stats leader board. It’s updated so it just takes out the realism of the game. If you guys could update that little bug then 10/10. It really makes the game feel more real when you actually see the leaders in goals and assist all season long.

Great game....too many ads for player energy. I have no problem with the ads in the free version, but in the $5 and $10 unlocks, the need for ads for energy for the players, is too much. I gladly payed $5 to get rid of the ads, but they still are pretty much required to keep your team on the field. I would gladly pay $5 more to be completely rid of the ads, and a modified player energy system. I understand when there are two games in a week, the lines will need to be juggled, but after most every game is too much.

Great addition to the New Star family. Great game that combines some of the elements from the old games and adds such a great layer of depth. Very bug free and very fun. Only reason I take a star away is cause I’d love to see a “full game” purchase for say $20 and then I can do any/all things as opposed to a bunch of small purchases. Also, can we get a confirm button for requesting board funds? Was tapping around trying to see what everything did and that was a (unwanted) surprise.

Pay To Play. Such a great game locked behind a towering pay-wall. I enjoy this game for what it is, quality gameplay with a solid manager system, but managing this team is founded on the idea that the player will spend money to get ahead. Almost every thing in this game(including some gameplay features themselves) have some sort of micro transaction involved. •Messed up on a play? Pay some cash and you can redo it! • Want some new players? Slide us a quick 5$ and you can open a pack! •Thought your players recovered energy on their own? Well you couldn’t be more wrong, now pay us! It’s simple things like these that take away the managerial experience away from the player a back them down into a corner with no option but to cough up cash. World Beater. This one’s got me jumping for goal posts. Been playing new star soccer for 8 years on and off and i keep coming back because it’s such a great game. New star manager has taken the concept to a whole nother level and it’s been done brilliantly. The gameplay is fantastic and you can score some really unique goals that you haven’t scored before even after playing for many hours. Chuffed with the result and it’s off to the bookies now.

Becoming one of my favourite games. This game has plenty of potential to be a great manager game, and I would definitely recommend this game to someone. In order to improve this game, I would make a few changes: 1. Have the ability to customise your club name, logo and kit 2. Have a sponsor for the name of your stadium (just like in real life) 3. Make press conferences revolve more around your teams form, player morale, recent signings etc, instead of "pressure questions" 4. I'm not sure why but every player seems to be from England, even players that are in for example the Italian league Overall, this game is simply fantastic like all the other New Star games. Keep it up!

Not bad but hard work at times. I really struggle with the card system. The team talk is difficult enough to pull off and all too often you’re gonna lose it with just one wrong tag. The key seems to be buy lots of cheap players to ensure you have fit players while you’re building up.

New update. Hi game keeps throwing me out since this update, gets to the first main screen them when press to play it starts loading then crashes after 5 secs of loading, please fix. I'm playing on I pad fully updated and I reinstalled and reset my device but not helped

Another awesome game from NSS. Great start to a great game. Things I would like to see 1) option to swap between a first selection team and a second selection team. Takes too long to go through every position to swap them over. 2) option to select what position you get from the youth academy. Or more of a variation. Always get a FWD. 3) during a season later in the game when you have a good team most weeks I have 2 games (national cups or continental cups plus league games.) and it is impossible to train up players because they are too tired. Need a way to fix this. Keep running out of nrg. 5) be able to put players on the transfer market. Could effect their mood. For better or worse, depending in if they want to leave or not. 4) also as others have suggested be able to change kits and the name of your team and maybe move to a better team, before you get to the top league in your chosen nation. But like I said great game so far. Look forward to seeing more. #addicted

Game play is great, management impossible.. As another reviewer has said - keeping players happy isn’t possible. Definitely need a lot more cards to do that. The game play itself is great but I feel like the game is a bit too greedy for our money.

Fun game but needed improvements. New Star Manager has clearly been one of the best soccer games on the App Store, but there are definitely room for improvements. Firstly, it would be very nice if there was a way to save your data and use it later when you delete the game. This happened to me when I had a decent team and then when I deleted and installed it back again, everything is gone. Secondly, I think the game progress is way too slow. It would be nice if the game would have only play each team once in the league(Half a season) rather than playing them twice(Full season). And thirdly, it would be better if you add shooting, passing, crossing and other attributes into the game rather just being something called technique. Because this just made my centre-back invincible when he is shooting. If you added the attributes into the game, can you also make an option so choose your set piece taker. Lastly, it would be nice to have daily tasks and a free pack everyday( it doesn’t have to be the pack where you get black or gold players. Maybe some bronze players or some skill cards). Please make changes as soon as possible as I would be looking towards the next update.

Good but has some bugs. The game has great potential but the are many issues that need to be fixed. For instance I have already play 10 matches in the league while the rest have only played 5. Also I said I lost a few games when I had actually won. Would like to be able to customize the team name,colors,etc. it's really fun to play though!

Could be 5 stars. The game is built to be a pay to win and thats the biggest issue. It should allow to buy at least one pack of cards using bux (game currency) and also as you level up as a manager you should get a managerial card as well. At past, the relationships status should change the same way both up and down. For exqmple: if you’re not successful in the interview all your relationships go down while if you’re successful it doesn’t change it (yeah you get cards for being successful but then its bad enough not to get it when you pose the minigame) If they change this, would definitely pay for the team editor to start my own team and also return here and improve the star rating.

This was one of my favourite games.... Yep you read the titile!?! 2 stars and it was my favourite? what happened. Upgrading my team and all that was Accessible with in game money exept for buildings which where more accessible after moving up a legue... And that is were the problem lies. in legue one, players value on on other teams was not so high making it competative as other teams were not so powerful were as season two it was unfair.. I have a team full of bronze player lvl 30-46 meanwhile im versing teams that have players that are all between 58-70 lvl and are costing hundreds of thousands making the game unplayable as it is impossible to get withount playing 4 seasons... Gameplay is fun untill their is a 100 percent chance you will lose... i will leave the game now and pleaseee fix that

Good game. I like the idea of the game. However in the tutorial phase, I cannot buy the training facility at the start or the staff member before that. It is just blacked out and won't let me purchase them. Don't know if it's just me with this glitch/bug. Otherwise great idea.

Great game. This game is the antidote to all the ‘ultimate team’ games around where the career mode is dead. Engaging and loads of fun. Devs: Two things to work on: 1. Making crosses a more meaningful part of the game and 2. The player ratings (Goals, assists) for the league stats are not tracking across a season but seem to be resetting every match or two (small bug). It’s nice to be able to see if your players are leading the league or not.

Such Potential. The game hooks you in, it’s initially challenging but fun, but as you build your way into the higher leagues, at least in the English play through, it becomes more and more impossible. Adding a defence mode, eliminating the pay to win aspect (which I know this developer can do because of their work on retrobowl) this could truly be one of the all time great mobile games.

I LIKE THIS GAME BECAUSE…. I like this game because it always has something for you to do such as , incidents, interviews, sponsors,and, of course games and more!.It has lots of gameplay controls which makes it really fun.

5 Star for potential to be great after some fixes.. I played for four five seasons, I’m enjoying it but I encountered some problems and have some thoughts that could maybe be implemented in future updates. - Awards missing from trophies... eg. I won L1 but it’s not there. - can’t seem to find a way to change ticket prices even though you get bonus from achievements. - why isn’t there a way to change team name and kit. - change or add hire Assistant, at least have a couple of different profiles at the beginning to choose from. You will see his face a lot - Adding staff traits These are just on the top of my mind but overall great job. It’s fun, challenging & simple. Oh... did I mention ADDICTIVE.

NRG. Game is great, although it is becoming less enjoyable due to my team always lacking in NRG, it may be my fault, (misuse of subs and cards) but it feels like the team is always low. Could you please make it that over irl time, the teams NRG increases, this would really improve the playing experience as I will know upon returning to the game, I can enjoy it will a fully energised team instead of a lacking bad one.

Solid foundation, just needs some polishing. Potential for an 11/10 game, just needs some polishing but otherwise very good. Disappointed at the lack of an option to pay for no ads, but otherwise the gameplay itself is amazing. Maybe in future updates add in club customisation (kits, name etc) and the ability to change clubs without having to start a whole new career.

Good. Game is much better then previous games, has lots of potential Needs an option to skip the tutorial phase Needs the customisation (coming soon apparently) I feel like there could be more options with upgrading buildings as well, besides just getting better rated cards, give you the option to train players in another position, or something like that. Pretty happy with game play, besides maybe the buggy offside rule. The gap between shooting full power and running needs to be lengthened, can’t tell you how many times I’ve ran when I’ve tried to shoot and lost the ball

Good game a few fixes needed. I gave it four stars because it's really hard to keep your players happy about they're development and my youth academy always produces forwards. But overall it's a really fun game with potential just needs a few fixes

Fun but misleading. The game is fun, and it's easy to get addicted. However that addiction was broken when I realised the better players seem to cost real money and it looked like long term play was locked out. In addition, the tutorial allows you to buy a player pack with in game coins. After the tutorial this is no longer available. The game obviously gets revenue from the ads I'm watching so why penalise players to the point where they don't want to play? Also there doesn't seem to be a way to change teams and manage someone other than the generic "New Star" team. You've got potential to make a game that has a huge player base but you will push players away with your revenue raising approach.

Player Energy. This is a great game & I love it, but I have one problem. So I’ve redownloaded this game heaps of times because I keep getting stuck, I can’t continue on with games because my players energy is low & I have no way to regenerate their energy without NRG cans but I never have any. I think player energy should regenerate while the game is closed

NSS. Great game only 2 criticisms I have would be unable to resign assistants because they are unhappy I have ignored there recommendations, but it’s not possible to upgrade what they requested because income is low in the first few seasons and the expectations of a conference club having premier lge facilities is not realistic. 2 would be players unhappy complaining they don’t get enough game time when 1 they are out injured or 2 they play 2 consecutive games so they get left out of the next to recover and they are immediately unhappy I had a player play 38 of 42 games and was unhappy.

Keeping players happy is a nightmare. 1. Concerned about management - Sometimes i cant play them because they have been banned or injured. And they still become unhappy that i didnt play them 2. Concerned about development - this ones the worst. They ask so frequently and i can only get two cards every 4-5 matches. And the occasional cards from dilemmas, press conferences and board targets. But otherwise their demands for development compared to the cards that we can get is absurd. Change this.. It is such a nightmare trying to keep everyone happy. It is for this reason i dread going back to this game because of everyone being concerned about development.

Best offline football game. The game is brilliant! The only thing I would like to have a possibility to make it harder. When you finish it a couple of times and become an experienced player, you have almost no resistance from AI. You easily defeat gold/black team with a silver squad.

Amazing game. I’m absolutely loving this game but just a few things that bugged me taking this down to a 3 instead of a 5. 1. I moved leagues to Spain and my manager level has been re set to 1. I was in the high 50’s and can’t understand why that has been reset since It doesn’t affect anything. 2. The ai can slide you from behind and no foul given or no card given but every time I’m even slightly behind and try tackling it’s automatically a foul. Really annoyed about losing my manager level.

Good game spoiled by impatient developer. From initial play, the game seems quite enjoyable. But eventually you’ll realise that the developer is just way too impatient to wrangle some real money out from you. Crazy game design decisions such as how quickly the players become unhappy, how long it takes the generate the cards and how expensive everything are in the game result in an unbalanced game. Which is such a great pity because this game has potential. However, once you experience buying a new player in the game and he immediately has maximum concern on your management, that frustration you get is not worth it. Skip this game. I’m deleting it.

Good game with potential. The game is solid and is obviously based on previous NSS games but from the managers perspective. Overall it’s clean, simple and easy to master. There are a few bugs and improvements to be made. 1. Game crashes are sporadic but rarely occur. I can’t pinpoint a trigger, but sometimes occur during advertising displays. 2. When playing in multiple cups, I have found that if you have two completion games on the same week. You will play one and the other is auto-played for you. This is a bug and needs fixing. 3. Needs a saving feature to back saved games to cloud. 4. Keeping players happy about development is a nightmare. More cards are needed or reduce player expectations. 5. Would be nice to rename team, players or parts of game. 6. Issue with stadium attendance. Currently have unbeatable team but only get 50% attendance in small stadium. 7. Youth facilities and Scouts are good but very biased to generating forwards. Ratio on forwards is 4:1 on any other outfield player. 8. Moving clubs and end of season must not be available. Haven’t had the option in my current 5 seasons. Good game but I’m sure there is more to come. Very good potential and follows on from previous NSS models.

It’s an amazing game but!. This is like the best mobile manager game it’s so addicting and the best! But you guys should think about adding an option to change kits, logo and team name only once in the beginning then pay if you want to change it more than once i think that’s fair

Good potential. Similar to NSS in the sense that it's way too energy relative to what you can do. Hard to enjoy the game when you've got this pesky dynamic where low energy causes injuries, no players, losses, bad relationships, no money etc. Also it's a shame you've gone the micro transaction route. Would have been happy to pay a flat fee to get the ads out of my face and just be able to enjoy the game without all the uneccessary rubbish. So close to being good.

Player Energy. Honestly, this is one of the best manager games I’ve played on mobile. Even though I haven’t played for long, a big issue that I face is the Players Energy. I know that I can give NRG drinks to my players to help them get more energy, but there’s a chance that I run out of them. I think a change to this would be good. I think there should be a way that the Players energy replenishes when you’re off of the game for a set amount of time.

Pay to progress. The game itself is a lot of fun, but after the first full season you’ll need to pay real money (whether it be bux or player packs) to have a team that can compete. To buy a decent silver rated player is easily 250,000 coins, considering your club doesn’t make that in an entire season, it feels like a cash grab. A real shame, because it is a really fun game

NSM. Great game, but some issues need to be fixed. For example sometimes the game crashes. One time I ran out of time on an interview because an ad popped up. Please change this.

Incredibly detailed game for a free mobile app. This game has a surprising amount of depth with lots of things to think about. As well as choosing your players and formation for the match, you have to manage training needs, energy, injuries and egos, as well as keeping your fans, sponsors and the board happy too. I really like how you start off as a new manager in charge of a team which is in trouble and have to turn fortunes around. Furthermore the best thing about the game is although you are a team manager you get to take control of the match for key moments of that game. Although the game encourages you to spend real money it’s not necessary to do so and is more challenging/satisfying anyway I reckon. I support the developer by watching the occasional ads! Overall a brilliant game

Not bad. All in all it’s a good starting platform, I feel an option to send players on loan would be great. It is very hard to keep a small squad happy as you don’t get many cards to fix. Also the game seems to crash every time a match goes into penalties so that needs fixing.

Great game just couple ideas to improve. 1. Making it not as hard to keep everyone happy especially players, should be certain players who don’t care if they play they are just good teammates or if they are lower ranked player in that position they shouldn’t care 2. Youth academy, I feel like I’m getting the same position every time I sign one, maybe an option of changing their position to better suit your team

Good gameplay, but seriously.. Ok so the game can be fun with the gameplay, however, it gets boring and repetitive over time. I personally, though, disagree with a few things. The first thing is, is that players are awfully expensive. I’d want to buy all these good players but I would never get enough income, with my fans not being angry. Another thing is what an update I THOUGHT I would like. The update was to customise the kits, badges, etc. the problem with it was that it costed a whopping $7.99 just to change those stuff, like what the hell? That should be free or AT MOST 99 cents, yet you made it $7.99. Anyways, you seriously need to change these things because otherwise this game isn’t that good at all.

Great game. Love the game. One thing I noticed though is when stadium is fully built, when you rotate the screen during a match, the goal posts disappear. I think it’s due to the stadium walls being so high.

Buggy mess, but fun enough. This game is alright as things go, but it’s riddled with game-breaking bugs. Very often players you buy simply don’t show up in the roster, bankrupting you.

Addictively fun game. Excellent blend of football manager and field play. Suggestions below: 1. Love the game, hate the ads. Please have an option to pay to remove ads 2. After each game, after I collect one card, the ad jumps in and I cannot go back to the screen to collect cards from other buildings. It wasn’t like this at the start. Recommend a button to collect all cards at once.

Read below. Firstly, I would like to say it’s a great game, but there are some things that could make it way better. Firstly, adding more customisation would be good. For example, being able to change your jersey colour. It would also be good being able to go overseas and manage a different team. I’m not sure if this is or is not in the game, as I’ve looked everywhere and there are no options in regard to the manager’s contract. $7 for ad removal is a lot, so I’ll just have to watch the ads that for the duration. Anyway, good luck in the future and thanks for the game. I look forward to future updates.

Update broke the app. Todays update rendered the game useless. The data consent "Got It" button doesn't work on my iPhone 11 Pro, so the actual game screen doesn't appear.

Simple and Challenging. A great little time waster that gets you deeply involved in the game management and even emotionally attached to players. Should I cash in on that youth prodigy I’ve developed or keep training him to be my superstar? Oh but he’ll want higher wages soon. Can I afford him and the rest of the squad? Great fun.

Good game but never progresses season. Actually a really good game, have been playing for a couple of weeks now but have only just realised that it never progresses seasons. I’m always stuck on Season 01 and there is no option to change clubs or sign on as a manager for different clubs. I feel these features would make this such a better game. Other than that it is exceptional!

Great but 1 thing. This game is fun and is very entertaining but the one thing that bothers me about this game is real life money purchases such as some higher rated players or the new feature of editing you club name, Stadium etc I feel like that shouldn’t be there as real money but it should be in-game money. Because some people like me just don’t have the money to pay $8 to change the a teams name or buy a world class player, it is really frustrating I hope you take this review as a stepping stone for future updates.

Bewildering and depressing. Plenty of options to spend real money to improve on things, but try finding a way to improving your actual playing skills, such as a practice game, then you're out of luck. You spend your time making mistake after mistake when trying to figure out basic stuff like how to manoeuvre, gauge power and distance when kicking etc. The real cost is that your team has lost yet another game while you fumble around coming to grips with basic player controls, again and again. I thought games apps were supposed to be fun! After 20 games of this, I've yet to experience "fun". How about a basic "practice game" mode??? I think I'll spend my money on more worthwhile things.

Solid beta. Solid variation to the classic NSS. Crashes and bugs within the game. After a while the screen goes white and is unresponsive. When there’s a free kick near the side or byline, the wall can overlap the line so part of the wall is outside of the field of play. Some features are hard to find. Not sure how to have a player meeting, which is one of the board challenges. All in all, a great game with huge potential. Changes I’d like to see down the track: - I’d like the option to move clubs at the end of the season - stadium sponsorship? Generic branding that changes with the sponsorship changes? - Change the club name?

Nice game but do not pay for “no adds”. I enjoy the game so i paid for “no adds” package around 9$. It’s not worth it because only the 5 to 15sec adds after each match been canceled But the adds 30sec adds on the 50% player boost still active . Usually when i pay for “no adds” package on games I don’t see adds! Here it’s weird, They did not mention it when i payed.

1 season is fun.. I finish 1 season and get bumped into a silver league with an all bronze team.. then lose every game 5-0. Without buying it’s almost impossible to advance

Fun Game... but.... I actually really enjoyed this game. I played a whole season in the USA 3rd division. However, after I won the league, I never got promoted. Why do you get promoted in some leagues and not in others? Doesn’t make sense. I could have switched leagues but did not realize beforehand that I could not get promoted. Really disappointed. I will not play this game until this problem is sorted. Also, please give us an option to skip the tutorial.

Money grabber. Good game engine, fun to play, but is designed from the bottom up to be a money grabber, very difficult if not impossible to play this game without spending big......Greed by developers have spoiled a potentially great game

Well Done. This game is wonderful. I’ve clocked in plenty of time in it. Started off in L2 of English league, now I’m about to hit the Prem. The game is very well balanced, and considering it’s fairly new, I can’t wait to see what else gets Implemented. Just a few suggestions: - Goalkeeper ability cards need to be more frequent or separate on their own. It’s tough to develop them - A rare squad training session in which everyone (or all in a certain position (FW, CEN, DEF)) gets to upgrade a particular attribute - More commentary variety. The one where the goalkeeper parries the shot shouldn’t only result in the opposition team scoring. - Give players a bit more time when they lose the call to get it from their opponents - Make the physio more viable. At this point it almost makes more sense to not use him at all cause too often he gives low tier -1 match cards There really isn’t too much I can think of, but I’m sure you will improve the game in coming updates!

Bad runs of form are hard to get out of. Players are unhappy, then their passing is Wack, then the opponents just launch the ball whenever it comes to them

Great game. For all the people that say it is pay to win, all you gotta do is stack up on your youth until they change rating. Then, all youth players are min the rating, and you basically get promoted(unless you’re REALLY bad).

Avoid Downloading. The tutorial takes a looot of time. Doesn't let me play the game. Who ever designed this game should be banned from designing again. VERY POOR.

Super fun but still needs improvements. The management is very fun and realistic with interviews and keeping the board happy but is still not perfect. It is very difficult to keep all of your players energized and more often than not you will have to play your worse players. Try to keep your team energized for too long will make them and your coaches unhappy for not developing their skills. Overall, a big step up from new star soccer

New Star does it again. After thoroughly enjoying NS soccer and cricket he does it again: manager is so much fun, challenging and deep.

Ads problem. Would have given this a 5, but the issue with ads freezing the game is a huge pain. No way to close them so you constantly have to exit and restart game. I paid for the ad free version, but would like to be able to get an extra retry now and again. Needs to be fixed.

Good game but in app purchases are too much. Awesome game but in app purchases are far too much to justify, I’ve bought in app purchases in both NSS and Retro bowl but I’m just not willing to spend the money you guys are asking for the ones in this game.

En recommençant une partie, j’avais 6 gardiens de buts. O.o L’application peut se fermer tout seule de temps en temps. J’ai désinstallé le le jeu par frustration mais réinstallé car excitant. Merci Je la réinstalle pour une 3e fois et hâte d’y rejouer. 6* stars!

Can’t play due to bug. The ad preference screen opens after the game starts then freezes so you can’t get back into the game. Really frustrating as I’m a couple of seasons in.

Great game, greedy in-app purchase plan. Great game, kudos. However it’s impossible to go on without buying nrg cards or other paid features, to keep winning you have no choice but to cough up money. Shameful when marketing dept takes over app design instead of programmers.

Wow. Addictive. Might want to consider switching sides (attack downwards) at half time to make it more challenging.

Needs a lot of improvement. After sometime, all the players are unhappy and the staff too. So much thing to keep up make those situations less and also no chance to win better teams, the board and the fans always unhappy do something make it easier and the players are so expensive. The card cooldown time should be decreased. Overall a good game if these gets fixed

Pay to Win. Maybe add an option to get full game without paying (no energy, no coins buying etc...), because it really sucks you're getting into that trend

Nice game. Despite the long tutorial (there should be an option to ignore the tutorial) it’s very nice! For the next update I wish it could be possible to select the team instead of playing only with one team all the game.

Energy and coins. The game is good so far, but the only way to recharge energy is to buy cards. That’s sort of unrealistic and if the players aren’t training everyday, they should be automatically resting because I looked at my opponents team and they have everybody full of energy while I have a 49 team energy all together. It’s also hard to earn a ton of coins and I think you should earn more coins per match

Used to be a great game. Flooded with ads. The game was amazing before hand. It’s a lot of fun changing up players and moving up groups etc. The game used to give options to watch ads for coins you can use. Now, they play 25-45 sec ads after each game(and some games are basically bag length) with nothing in return. I guess they have to milk money somehow since people prob stopped playing. 5 stars -> 3

Lots of fun!. Its a good start and I'm looking forward to seeing it change and grow as well! Still not some convinced on some economy decisions they made with the game but support is very good and they explain what's going on with the game and that makes up for it!

One thing missing. Ever since I retired my NSS player I dreamed of an update or game to be able to manage. Here it is, has a massive learning curve from the mechanics of the last game but is still bloody brilliant. Only criticisms is the game begging me to buy cards and the inability to change my team name (which I think is in the works). Highly recommend though, still my favorite mobile game series!

Great game- wish you could just buy it and not depend on in-app purchases. This is a great game until you progress to higher leagues and must depend on in app purchases to keep backup players happy. In app purchases destroy solid game concepts such as this. In addition players only gain skill from card usage and not playing time. It does not matter how well you play as a player, you are still forced to use in-app purchases and depend on poorly designed in game mechanics. A ball struck on an edge should curl the opposite direction, for example.

Love the game, but...... This is one of my favorite mobile games, but there is one glitch that I hate. It happens when one of my players gets a red card and the game doesn’t let me sub him out even though I still have subs remaining. Am I overlooking something or is this an actual glitch that needs problem solving?

Love the game, but.... Like many comments have pointed out, the player energy levels deplete way too fast, and they don’t replenish fast enough (I don’t think they replenish at all?). I’ve spent $6.00 since downloading the app yesterday...$5 on the full version of the game and $1 on an energy pack. At this rate I’d be spending $1 a day to play the game. The devs need to figure out how to solve the energy level situation stat. Apart from that, the game is awesome!

to fix something. This game is such a fantastic game love it only reason im giving 4stars is that it would be nice if u perform well as a manager u can go to other teams and take controll of other team instead of just staying with the same team always please fix this and make it right Thanks a lot for this great game

Great Idea Ruined.... This is a great idea and next step for this series BUT... it is straight pay-to-play if you actually want to “play” the “game.” Sure, you can download it for free, but energy and pay systems big the experience down. I won’t be spending money on this, let alone even playing it. I loved New Star Soccer BEFORE the app I paid for was stolen by the dev and rebranded as pay-to-win. Doubt I’ll enjoy anything they make again if they keep this up. Back to Football Manager Mobile for me!

Great game but. This is a very good game I like it. Was playing new star soccer and came across this game. The only problem I have with is that there is no way for you to earn or get energy drinks for your team. There should be one drink that replenishes the entire squad because one by one is very difficult to do.

Not at all realistic. Im a real soccer player so i know my stuff and the points at where i hit the ball should be really good but the ball goes flying everywhere. The controls are weird and the power on my passes are inconsistent. The players will randomly miss a ball that is right next to them and the menu can be very very annoying to navigate at times. Retro bowl is amazing and I saw this advertised on Retro Bowl so i thought that this might be good. Nope.

Love/hate. First team went good until player contracts were a mess. My second team I decided to start in usa. Starting at the bottom league I won from mid season. No promotion. So i played another season at the end of season 2 I won everything. Easily. Now still no promotion. I might play one more season then I will be bored if there is no promotion. Please fix!!!

Need more game time. Haven’t played enough to give a full review but so far it’s been solid. There’s management and actual soccer gameplay that makes it very enjoyable. Only seen maybe 2 ads so for a free game it isn’t overkill.

Paying for Customization!. (Only giving it 5 stars so it can be seen I would give it 1 star)Are you kidding me? The new update allows you to change your logo, kits, and stadium and team name, that’s cool but then you go and try and edit it and it costs $5!! What a joke I’m not wasting my money just to be able to change my team name and what not, good job new star you turned your game into a pay to win. Terrible company I am never playing new star manager again, GARBAGE!

Confused. This is a great game except for a few bugs/force closes and one other problem. I don’t understand how you’re supposed to get promoted to the next league. i’ve won the USA3 league 2 years in a row and it won’t move me up. when I choose to “switch leagues” it says I will lose all my players and everything. Please help!

Started at the bottom.... And I’m still there. I’ve won the league twice, yet there hasn’t been any promotion. I breeze through the league and playoffs, but I’m stuck there for yet another season. I don’t want to move countries (and thus lose everything), but I would really like a chance to progress.

A True Addiction. Amazing game! Top 5 game I’ve ever played on iPhone/iPad. Build teams, pro/rel, game play, and all of the management issues. MY ONLY criticism is the difficulty level. I set my teams to 100% and have enough subs to rotate on a consistent basis. As a result, I burn through teams that should be destroying me. Need to nerf the energy buff

It’s good. One thing I think should happen though is that you should be less concerned about having to develop players. Or you have to be less concerned about having energy. I think they should regenerate more energy after each game.

Crashes sometimes when you try to save replays. I don’t want to lose my whole game progress in an important and difficult match because I want to save a goal replay. Also fan attendance is brutal, you’d think you’d be able to sell out a 4000 seat arena in a national cup final regardless of fan base or league. Great game though

Becoming too tedious to progress without buying packs. This is a great game at heart and could be a runner for game of the year. However, 4 seasons in and becoming a grind. Energy system is broke...too difficult to maintain even with team rotation...unless you buy packs. Also difficult to get cards to fix players management issues...unless you purchase packs through IAP. You can progress...but it becomes a slog. You can progress but requires too much work.

Fun game but not enough new stuff. I would love to see more stuff added to this game. Like features or buildings or staff. Just a huge upgrade to the whole game would be nice

Great Game, have some issues though. The game is worth the 5 stars and is a solid pickup. My only complaint is that the ads are hard to close and sometimes don’t allow me to play the game without closing the app

Really like it but...... Really fun and addicting but the game lags and freezes quite a bit, also need to be able to get card packs without spending real money, having a hard time keeping team and staff happy, so pls make changes then it would be a 5 star game.

Great game, a few things to improve upon. I love this game, up to Season 10 on my current manager, but a few things I have quibbles with: 1) I should be able to choose my penalty/free kick takers. Because the game still uses your formation for set pieces if my CF is my free kick taker it’s very difficult to get #s into the box. 2) The board. Oh, the board. No, I don’t want to sell my best player and top goal scorer even if you think it was a good offer. 3) There should be some advantage for moving leagues, if I’ve built up a dominant side, won the league, international cups, etc...why do I have to start all the way at the bottom again?

NSS fan for awhile. I have played New Star titles since it was a flash game on Kongregate. This game is a fresh take on the game and runs fairly smooth. I don’t think it’s sporadic choppiness is enough to not give it 5 stars but it could be my phone. Really fun game and really good job New Star. Also the changeable camera angle is awesome.

Great concept but needs improvement. I’ve loved this game but there are things that need to be added before I’ll continue working on it. First of all, I’d like a promotion system. I started in USA3, won the league easily, then won the playoff, but my team stayed in the same league. I stayed with the team one more season because I thought I did move up, but nope. Then I’d also like to manage other teams besides New Star FC. I think it’s great that this is the ideal starter team but I wanna manage my favorite club. I also think that teams in higher divisions should begin with better facilities. It doesn’t make sense that an EPL team has one grandstand and no training grounds The concept and gameplay are great, but tweaks are needed to take this game to the next level

Not as good as the boys are telling you. Essentially pay to win half the time, there’s times where it won’t let you control your team for 30 min and in that time the other team scores seven goals on you somehow, gameplay is fun at times until you get hit by the most unrealistic overpowered defending ever

Bug, Wont load the game. I can load the game up perfectly fine the first time I open the app (and play thru the tutorial),but once I close it I cant play again cause it freezes on the load up. So to play again I have to uninstall then redownload which makes me lose all progress only for it to freeze the next time I try to play. I enjoy the gameplay so please try your best to fix this bug!

Decent game but lacking. Played for a awhile and began to realize that you really have to buy cards in order to keep your team happy. I got through about half a season and most of my team was losing happiness because I couldn’t train them or because I couldn’t play them enough. Seems like there should be more ways to earn cards other then the ones provided.

It’s really good. I gave this 5 stars, but there are still some improvements I want to see: 1. More football teams in Asia and other regions besides Europe. 2. Don’t charge $4.99 for the kit, badge and name editing. It’s not right. 3. More interactions with each individual player and please add more meeting cards. I never find enough of them. 4. Player’s names should base on the country/region that they play for. For example: If you choose Japan, your players should be named Hiroshi or Suzuki, Honda (Japanese names) and the same goes for other countries. Overall, really good game but if you can do at least 2 of the things I mentioned above, it would be great.

Good but the Lag kills it.. I love the game. I could play for hours, but the lag is horrible. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve missed a goal because of lag. Just try to work on that and keep everything the same with minor stuff here and there.

More cards without playing please. Hi New Star, I love your games and this version of NSSoccer better than the older one. However, I’d like to have more cards or at least an opportunity to view ads for cards. My players are way too unhappy and I have no meeting cards. And, you barley get any cards even.

I spend way too much time playing this. There is no greater feeling in the world than having all black tier players but you’re only in the championship

Amazing Game. Good integration of previous games features along adding some new ones. Ads can be a bit much but other than that a very well put together game. You progress fine without the need of IAP. Best managing app on market.

Good but minor problems that I have with the game.. 1. When your manager level goes up nothing happens. I think you should get NRG or team talks or staff upgrades or meetings and so on. 2.Energy runs out way to fast in my opinion. I’m finding myself needing to take the energy drinks over scouting player every time you pick after a game because my team runs out of energy so fast.

Transfer account. This game is so good I love it but the only problem is that I recently got a new phone and I can’t transfer my old account from my old phone to my new phone this is a problem because I have to restart from scratch and lose all my staff and players

Good but needs improvements. Love playing this game. Wish I could change kits without having to pay. Also there has to be a faster way to get more training cards and filling up the stadium with fans should be easier when you have good results. Lots of room for improvement but overall like this game a lot

Great game. I’m loving it, but twice now the screen’s gone completely white after I make a substitute, and each time I’ve had to completely start the game over. Would’ve been great if I was losing, but I was up 2-0 and 1-0 !!! Wish there was a way to resume

Good game but. Energy drops way to fast and does not recover. I cant play a good 3 games and every single player on the team is basically dead... all my players are shot and get injured frequently, can only get 2 nrg a game even though you have a squad of 11+ all needing a stamina boost. Idk I’m not playing this anymore until they fix that trash because I’m on season two and the only thing I can do to avoid fatigue is watch my team lose game by game to get 2 cans of soda

Good game. Small bug. Game is fun but after matches there’s a bug where I can only choose one coaching card reward instead of all available. Ad plays and takes me back to main screen instead of back to other coach card rewards

Has lots of potential!. This game is a lot of fun to play. It seems to be very complicated though and if you don’t know exactly what to do, your club can spin out of control. There are just too many things to deal with making it very annoying. Overall it’s pretty fun and if worked on it could be a fantastic game!

Amazing game with minor problems. The gameplay of this game is fantastic. The variety of leagues and formations gives you the ability to try any managerial scenario you’d ever want. (besides national teams) However, the game does lag out my phone at least once every 20 minutes I play it. If the phone mechanics where a little better it’d be a perfect game.

Great game but too easy. I never bought any packs but I was promoted every season and won the premier league the first year I was in it. I think the game needs a little tuning. I'm good, but not that good. Made the journey a bit less enjoyable. Still love everything else about it.

So frustrating at first, soooo rewarding later.. What a game, amazing time killer by the best sports developers out there. At first I hated it but only when you persevere and accept many many defeats that you begin to actually get good at it. I’m writing this review right after winning my first UEFA Champions League with a team half filled with silver players.

Mind blowing. Honestly, this game is by far my favorite football game on mobile. From start to finish a complete experience of managing a football club there are still room for improvement for sure but this game is definitely a 10/10. Things I would love to see added to the game: •displaying your group in tournaments •managing national teams •ability to loan youngsters With these additions this game would be the PERFECT football game to ever exist on the mobile Worth to say that I have been getting this bug where I win a game in the domestic cup and I don’t progress to the next round, when I click on the game in the schedule it says corrupted data for the game.

Needs to be be fixed. The game is good. The only problem with it is as soon as the opposition defense gets the ball they kick it directly out of bounds and it gives them the ball and you lose a bunch of time off the clock. Create a throw in function or change the AI to not kick it directly out of bounds every time

There no updates anymore.... This is one of the most entertaining soccer games on mobile that I have ever played. The mixture of a football manager with an actual game controlling possibility during key moments. This game is so good, that I have even deleted pes, pes manager. What a pity, that the last update was almost a year ago.

Positions. Wonderful game, everything about it it’s great, but I do have one complain ¿why is it that i can play right forwards and left forwards on a 4-3-3 formation but I cant play right middles or left middles on that same formation. Im pretty sure you dont have to play all center middles on a 4-3-3 formation in real life. Please fix the formation problems and I’ll give it a 5 star rating.

Entertaining. I like this game so far, pay to play… almost. Slow growth if you don’t buy stuff but is balanced and fair. Would improve if you can have more control to select offensive time. Like the game
