Broadcasts makes building a library of stations from around the world easier than ever — no subscription required. Search for stations from around the world as easily as from your own library.

Broadcasts Comments & Reviews 2026

Unable to remember window size. Great app and functions well. Yet I believe ever since the redesign on version 2.2, the mac app seems unable to remember its window size on relaunch. Not a big problem but hopefully it can be fixed.

Hands Down -- The Best. Don't look any further -- this is it.

Great streaming radio app!. This app is so simple and uncluttered that it is a joy to use compared to some of the commercial apps that are all junked up. The small things that would push this to five-stars are features like drag to reorder collections or streams, and small touches that would polish this baby up.

Imperfect, but best option?. Best live radio player I've found. I like that my favorite stations can be clumped into collections and shared across devices. Good built-in browser for finding most stations. Basic customization options available (you can add any stream URL and edit station name and image.) Supports Apple CarPlay. A few minor improvements that would bump it to a 5-star rating: - Keyboard support for volume changes on desktop app - "Shuffle" option to pick a random station from my collection - Mini-player for desktop app - Additional metadata options for stations (keep "name" as default, but give nerds the option to add callsign & frequency, location, stream bitrate/codec, rating, tags... bonus points for a map view) - Documentation (only option on help menu is "Contact Support..." email link)

Better than the rest.. Thanks for this simple and easy to use app. If you just want radio stations without all the bulk and ads of Tune In this is the app for you. Easy to use and customize. Spend the $4.99. Well worth it.

Great App for Language Learning and More. I can’t say enough about this great little app. I originally bought it with the sole purpose of listening to radio programs in Irish since I was (and still am) taking courses to learn Irish. It’s been a great help. I have evangelized it to everyone I know and have turned many people on to doing the same with the language they are learning. I also use it to listen to radio stations from my hometown and my adopted hometown and much, much more. I love this app!

Simple and a bit onerous. After so many positive reviews, I tried Broadcasts. Very disappointed. It does not list stations by genre. When searching for a specific kind of music, for instance Ambient, I don't care what country it originates from. I just want the content. There might be times when it's nice to peruse stations from a certain country, but I think most folks are searching for a cerain kind of music. Broadcasts does have a fairly decent database of stations but surely, there have to more than this. Finally, Broadcasts interface isn't the most intuitive. With a bit of time, one can figure out how to use it.

doesn't work for any of the local stations. i wish this worked for the local terrestrial stations that have set up online live streams. it seems like this works for prerecorded/syndicated station broadcasts? i really wanted this one to be the one. no others seem to work either. i have tried different addresses for the stream and it just won't work.

Hate using a review to get support.... ...but none of the support links go anywhere but a blog page. 1) Universal purchase isn't. 2) All of the Irish stations vanished after I made the iOS purchase. 3) The graphic choices on the Mac app might be being largely made by Apple but they make the app really ugly and nothing like the screenshots. All in all, wasn't worth the purchase money. Hope it will be and I can revise this review or delete it.

Another native app. I like native apps, because they consume less space on disk and use less RAM when running. This one is no exception :) I have noticed that sometimes radio stream stops and doesn't resume (maybe it's server side problem). And if you could close main window without stopping the music (like iTunes) – it would be great.

Holy Grail of Streaming Radio. I love to listen to a lot of different streaming audio stations. I liked to use Apple's own Music app on my Mac, but this feature is absent from the iOS and TvOS platforms. Once I tested this app with it's five station limit, I happily paid the $9.99 and use it on my Apple TV and iOS every day. The browse feature finds a lot of publiclly available streaming radio stations, but I've gone further and using the developer view of Safari found the embedded streaming URLs to some staitons that only stream via their own app or web UI online. Now I can have my fave station all in one place across all my platforms. I also love the ability to customize the station's cover art!

Perfect radio app. I lobe it. It store my favorite stations perfect. Make listen to music so enjoy.

What all apps should be. Light weight. Not a heavy data mining machine that makes the users jump through hoops to use it, or feel like their constantly being used. Not overly complex. Just right, with a responsive developer who has some respect for users. We need more like this.

Love It. Reminds me of tuning into radio sations (in this case even around the world) and listning to the great music and variety I don't even have to think about. It just works - no fluff. Being able to go from device to device and Broadcasts synching favs is a BIG plus.

Excellent app. Love this - very simple, straightforward - and it works so well. Love the huge search of international stations.

Great way to have WWOZ on Apple TV and Carplay. Great app, easy to set up a collection of stations. I love it mostly for addressing missing features from the WWOZ app.

Finally custom stations. I love the ability to add my own radio stations, customize the icons and have it instantly sync between macOS/iOS and have easy access in CarPlay. Very Happy!!!!!

Surpassed by NONE OTHER--UPDATE SYNCING NOW AVAILABLE!!. This is the best by far online radio app for iPhone and Mac! Ability to add personal stations is the clincher for me and it always works. Not one complaint save for syncing between apps...if that happens? It is the BEST app out there. ADDED WITH LAST UPDATE on 6/3/21!!! I am done with all the others, Broadcasts 2 is the way to go.

Great app, works on all Apple ecosystem. This app is great for radio listeners. It syncs on all of your Apple devices (MacOS and iOS) and you pay just for once. Steve is a very active developer and makes it better with every release. Looking forward to V2.

An excellent program. Broadcasts is a straightforward program that does what it says it will do. The paid upgrade is well worth the price and adds the option to include custom stations. An additional bonus is that the author does not collect unnecessary and invasive user data.

Radio App I always wanted. I can't say how thankful I am for a clean, easy to use, cross Apple platform radio app. I'm a German living in the US, and desperately miss home radio. THANK YOU for making this app!

Fast developer support. I ran into an issue and reached out on Twitter, the developer quickly responded and told me a good work around

Can't navigate backwards. I searched for stations in Japan, now stations in Japan are the ONLY ones I can search for - the back button doesn't work. I feel ripped off. This should not be for sale until it has been tested.

The Best Internet Radio Tuner on Any Platform. If this the current App as designed on the iPhone only, it would be worth close to 5 stars. If it were a superb one for my iPad as well, then it's worth noticing. Add a Mac OS and AppleTV version and you have a whole family of well-built, elegant and beautiful Internet Radio apps that essentially lets you listen to both your local and foreign radio stations almost instantly. Not only that, but all of your carefully curated stations you do on, say, your Mac, get copied to iCloud and synched to all of the others. You never have to add or fix a station twice. I use this app constantaly and am pleased to see the developer continuing to refine and polish it, but it really doesn't need much more. Maybe and alarm mode so you can wake up to a station of your choice? But then it would be competing with all of those other (usually lousy) alarm clock apps.

Huge Advantage over Music App. Streaming audio from non Apple Music sources seems to be an afterthought for Apple's Music app. But doing so is all that Broadcast does. At one point Apple's Music app stopped showing track information on streams which was the final straw for me. Broadcasts is the only app I've paid for in years. It is well worth the small price.

Pretty much useless. “Broadcasts” seems to allow you to select ONE station from a large list of pre-programmed / pre selected stations (I could not find anything I deemed worth listening to) - you CAN’T add your own station - nor edit or remove any entries you made - I was unable to add more than one of the pre selected stations - if you try anything beyond that, you get: “PAY!!! for the full version” showed into your face - What does the full version really offer? The free version did not allow me to add my own station and so I don’t expect the full version to offer that either…

The Radio App I've Been Waiting For. Broadcasts is a new app that is steadily and rapidly improving and adding features (e.g., the recent directory of stations addition), but already I'm won over from a well-known competitor's legacy app that I've never loved. Broadcast: a simple, low cost radio app on both iOS and Mac OS X that syncs well. I'd love to see the ability to export and import station lists (including descriptions and icons) so that I could evangelize the app to my friends and family and make it dirt simple for them to add the app and get started. Finding which radio stations are the "best" or are "stations in my areas of listening interest" amongst the multitude of stations in the USA and worldwide is likely still overwhelming for new users, so any feature that would help could be useful. Kudos to the developer.

Excellent Internet Radio App. This developer never disappoints and it shows especially in this app which delivers one of the closest-to-native experiences I've seen in any third-party app. It's simple and does what is advertised extremely well. It takes full advantage the current APIs on both macOS and iOS/iPadOS. Finally have a clean way to listen to my favorite stations outside of a web browswer.

Good for listening, bad for searching.. The interface is best in class for radio apps. And the organization features are perfect. However, the app needs some improvement in searching. You can't search all countries at the same time for something like 'classical' or 'public radio'. The app requires you to pick a country to search inside of. Also, if you know the name of station you’re looking for but not the country it’s from, the station can be very difficult to find. The app Triode gets searching right. You can search all stations globally for things like genres or station names. With better station search, this app would be the best.

plays the radio. does it quite well

Doesn't Work. I wanted to like this. But it just doesnt' work. I.G. Go to the search bar on the left panel and search. Nothing comes up. But go to the Browse Section, click on your target country and then search with THAT search bar and yes, your station appears now over to the side along with the option to save it in you collections. Problem is... stations don't play when you click on the icon saved. I checked to see if my saved station was broadcasting by checking the actual website and they were. Too bad. Good idea. Oh... and if you leave your searched for station call letters in the left side bar... and happen to do a new search and save on the right side, the newly saved station WILL NOT APPEAR in your collections until you have erased/deleted any other searches on the left side search bar. Too bad. I hope this gets fixed.

Perfect. Please don't change this app too much, in terms of usability. If you're going to keep adding features, then okay, but the simplicity of this radio app is what makes it PERFECT.

it would be better if RTE can actually upload the programs. Often especially at the weekend, there is no uplodating of the days broadcast and if there, it will often be just one news program, for example either the six or nine news

Amazing.. Awesome to listen to my favorite live podcasts on my mac in an app instead of in Safari.

Video support!. What could possibly go wrong if you add video support!?

Getting there. Station browser and configuration is welcome addition, plus stations now synch via iCloud. Still needs buffering/time warping, so listener can go back and forth in time.

Sync wiped out everyintg I worked on.. I oringinally installed this on my iPhone then my Mac. Created a handful of collections and added custom artwork to many streams. I installed on my iPad today after seeing the tweet for mouse support. Unfortunately the iPads lack of collections synced across all my devices and wiped everything out. Reached out to Steve via twitter to inform him of this issue and have not received a reply. This isn't worth the headache. I'm going to just consider the purchase a loss and uninsall.

Solid Radio App. I don't listen to much radio, but I have a few favorite stations - this app is perfect for me - I have been able to listen to my favorite college radio stations in a single location. Great. Work.

Perfection. Love the UI, the sync across devices, the ability to customize station art. An app that does one thing and does it extremely well. Absolutely worth paying for

Slight Improvement!. The addition of the browser for stations is a huge improvement for this app, but on iOS there does not appear to be a way to search the list, whilel there is a search field on the Mac version, what gives? Still not a universal purchase either, bought it on the phone and no it wants me to pay again on the Mac, which I will not be doing! What is the problem?

Good app, could use a menu bar icon/button.. Good app, could use a menu bar icon/button.

One of the best. Seriously, I can't get any real work done without music and, as an internet radio junkie, I can just keep throwing stations at this app, arranging them as I like, and then listening to whatever suits my mood! For me, this is quite literally a productivity application that also happens to be an excellent music platform too.

Great Radio Streaming App. Great radio streaming app. I love that it also works on the Apple Watch.

Great option to directly add audio feeds by URL. I appreciate the option to directly add audio feeds by URL, and customize their icons, and categorize them. Well done!

It works Perfectly!. It is a simple app, no ads, no data tracking and It works!! Love it! 100% Recomended!

Needs improvements. Certain streams play fine on the device, but go silent when I send them to AirPlay. The same stream URLs work correctly from Safari.

Unable to add radio stations. The only reason I bought this was to be able to add other radio stations. There is absolutely nothing in this app that lets you search for other stations and I have found it impossible to add stations because I am unable to locate the proper urls. That makes the app pretty much useless.

Great App... But, Family Sharing No Go. Says it support family sharing but it doesnt unlock or work. I wanted to share this my wife but its a no go 🙁

Nice, clean & stable. Nice app. The minus star is because the available stations are only about 10 (Irish). Hopefully more will be added.

Not good. Typed in calls for a local station. Got three results. Two of them were completely the wrong signal.

Awesome UI, smooth and simple.. While the star rating is rather low, and the other review you see shown here claims the app to be a “total waste of money” - Broadcasts is just about as perfect as a radio app can be. It has a gorgeous UI that makes sure it does it’s singular purpose job as well as it possibly can. While the default Irish radio stations are useless to most involved, after purchasing the “pro” tier, the user is given access to thousands of curated stations from practically every country across the globe. It gives you worldwide radio access in a gorgeous package. While the other review here mentions that there are “no other stations included”, it seems he didn’t even bother to use the app as there are THOUSANDS of stations. Further, you can even add your own station via a URL, and upload your own custom station art to go along with it. It is the perfect radio app and does it’s purpose with flying colours. Highly recommend.

Great update. Even better with the latest update. Looking forward to the iOS update too.

Internet radio on your Mac but with restrictions. I like the idea, but the app has been deliberately hamstrung by not being allowed to add any other stations.

Simple, easy to use. This Just Works(TM) the way streaming radio apps should work. CarPlay integration is ace. No more cruddy per-station apps, Broadcasts has them all in one place with high performance, simple UI, and no spam or bad ads.

Just works. Works everytime. Only issue is Siri and Home do not seem to known that Broadcasts is available, so won't 'play' from a voice command as far as I know. But other than that, great little app syncing my stations across devices without needing to think about it

Privacy and simplicity!. Most of the radio apps on the AppStore are bloat ware using 3rd party analytics. This one is just about right, uses iCloud for syncing and the privacy policy is clear. Great job!

Finally, a simple radio with a great interface. Great to finally find this app, such a simple elegant interface in a sea of pretty average apps, and it actually has the stations that I listen to. Been thru sooo many apps that look fantastic but have a hugely limited selectoin of stations, so thank you!

Please give me my money back!!!. This is the WORST piece of junk I have ever used! Do you know how you search/add for a new station? You can’t! What you have to do is go to the website of the radio station you want and try to find the URL for the station’s feed then manually copy that into a “new station” dialog! REALLY? By the way, there’s no station artwork either, god knows how you get it! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Great app. Great app and easy to use!

Excellent radio app. What an excellent little app. Been looking for a decent internet radio app for ages and this one ticks every box for me. I tried the free version and within a few minutes paid my $8 for the full version. I always wanted the ability to save stations, but to be able to categorise them as well is a bonus. And if the station doesn’t pop up in the Browse list, stations can be saved wth the station’s stream url. Something I didn’t expect was syncing my saved stations via iCloud to my Macbook Air and iPhone app. Every change on one syncs immediately across all devices. I love it. All these are features that Apple Music strangely doesn’t allow. Another major plus for me is the ability to substitute the sometimes dodgy artwork with quality images off the web. These look great in the nicely designed Mac mini player and on the phone. And finally the inclusion of Airplay sealed the deal. For me this is the best radio app I’ve found and highly recommend the reasonably priced paid version.

Slick and solid. Nicest streaming radio app I’ve ever used. Get rid of all those other pieces of bloatware you’ve used up until now.

Simple, fast, no bs!. Great app, no problem and is light and easy to us. Can have my favourites playing in seconds. Nice to see an app not using a subs model, and purchase outright price is good

Useless unless you’re Irish. Not incentivised to use this app if I can’t even add stations I like.

Perfect!!. Easy to use, able to add own stations works great with CarPlay. Best I’ve used & very reasonably priced. Love it!

Great simple app that I can add custom URLs.. Look forward to testing this in carplay. I used audial before it has become a little unstable of late.

On it's way. A simple interface that gets the job done. The desktop version is still pretty rough and doesn't seem to have all the features enabled that the mobile does(eg: Move a preset to a collection). But looks like it's actively being developed and even this rough version does the job efficiently. Love that it's a universal app for all devices.

Perfect streaming simplicity!. Nice and clean, good design. Let's you store 5 favs for free. Thx dev. I would buy the unlock if it had ability to keep showing artwork without screen sleep on iPad. If it did that I'd switch from VLC.

Love it! Works across all my Apple devices. Great little app. Even works with Apple carplay.

In-App Purchase for non-Irish Stations. This looks like a really good app. However, it doesn't make it clear that to listen to non-Irish radio stations you need to purchase it. Also, you have to know which country a radio station is in before you can find it. I listen to some radio stations and have no idea where they are based!

Great for podcast streaming. Works perfectly for streaming ATP or relayFM live stream podcasts and has shortcuts!

Nice but glitchy. Love the idea and look of the app - would love to give it 5 stars but very glitchy - crashes often especially on iPad. Hopefully gets better - then I would be happy to give 5 stars and pay for full version.

Great App. Respect for the country change.

how do I use it?. How do I get a non-Irish station? All I see is a half dozen Irish ones?

Very pleased. Found every station I was looking for and reception is good

Enable Searching by Genre / Keyword. Great app! Please allow me to search by a keyword or genre (e.g. “K-pop” or “EDM”) instead of Country; the search results could be grouped by country. This will enable me to quickly find new stations globally without having to search each country separately. Love your @stroughtonsmith feed.

It just wokrs!. An excellent radio player for all your devices, very reliable and has all the essential features.

Excellent app. Well written app that does what it says it does across all platforms. Thanks for continuing to keep this app going!

Great app. Simple, intuitive, free

Great for using URL streams. Glad I found this app! Previously I was using TuneIn for custom URL streams. This app is designed for this purpose. It also makes it easy to bring stations from different networks into one app. My one request is the ability to create sub-collections /folders. Otherwise this app is fantastic.

Great radio app because.... This is a great radio app because it lets you select custom folders for radio stations from their database or from stations you add yourself. I hope they can update their database soon.

DJ JOSH. thankyou

Nothing but a blank screen…. I tried installing twice. The radio stations that show up on the screen at startup vanish immediately leaving an empty screen. I was able to see the list of stations to choose under ”Browse,” but adding one to “My Collection” seemingly doesn’t give any way to listen to it.

Lost all my presets. Installed the app on my iPad after adding several dozen presets on my Mac. The iPad showed the default set of Irish stations. Went back to my Mac to check, and watched it revert to the default set as well right before my eyes!! How do I get all. My presets back??

Great for the times.. I like what the app offers in radio from around the world. The app icon makes me happy too—icing. Also, appreciate the dev’s quick response when I had a question.

Unfinished, nonfunctional.. Update in response to developer comment — v. 1.2 still does not provide a way to SEARCH for a specific station you’d like to add. The lists of available stations by country marks a step forward, but it’s still a manual process — for example, you have to manually scroll through a list of 3,550 stations to add a U.S. station. Original review — App requires manual entry of the streaming URL of a station you’d like to add. “Search” only applies to the list of stations you’ve already set up; you can’t use the call sign of a station you’d like to add (such as “WETA”) to obtain the information the app needs to stream that station. Compare with TuneIn and other apps that facilitate easy addition of a specific station.

Very good. The app works great. The is interface is simple and does the job. I was looking for a simple radio app that works on my Apple Watch stand-alone. I want to stream radio via cellular while running. Broadcasts does that well. iTunes only allows only some Apple stations, and has a hokey Siri interface. TuneIn nor MyTuner work when untethered from the iPhone. So: until now I like this app a lot.

Great app; use it all the time. This is a very good app. I use it all the time both on the iPhone and using CarPlay.

Outstanding. What a wonderful app syncs with my Apple car play in my carI can scroll through all the stationsWhile driving controls are on my steering wheel love this app

Fantastic app. Broadcasts is a great internet radio player, I use it the most on iPhone and CarPlay but the Mac app is pretty good as well. I especially like the option to change the name and picture for any station, since a lot of them have low-res artwork or no artwork at all. My only real complaint is that it can be difficult to find stations, since the only organization is by country. The best discovery method for me has been the TuneIn website (you can search for a station in Broadcasts after finding it elsewhere) or reading forum threads about stations.

Nope. Update: *I appreciate dev response. However I deleted peseta when I opened the app because I don’t care about Irish radio stations. This is a US store app, no? So editing presets not possible now for me. An explanation in your app description would have helped then, no? I would have tried that if that were explained. After being burned too many times with new apps if an app doesn’t at least have a day trial period to fully try it then I don’t trust it. Just some constructive feedback. Sorry. Launch & app just not fully thought out in my opinion but I appreciate your candor and response and wish you luck* Not even a 24 hour trial period? Nothing? Not sure my stations will add, won’t be purchasing

Understand US History. Puerto Rico is not a country, is part of the US (and has been for over 100 years!). It’s stations are regulated by and registered with the FCC. I am shocked people still think is a separate country. Please fix your listing.

Still useless when driving. This would be great radio app for driving, but as phone looses and regains connection, it eventually gives up and stops trying. Even worse, it displays error message which makes it impossible to restart without stopping the car, unlocking phone, dismissing some weird useless stream error message and starting again. Basically, works fine home on wifi, useless in car. The other thing is no contact to developer using email. I do not have twitter account and never plan to. Twitter page shown by help link is completely incomprehensible, useless for finding useful help or contacting author. In summary, seemed great when came out, I like the promise and gui, paid for full version, now really disappointed. Seems fixable, but no way to let developer know. If anyone is listening: if you display stream error number xyz, you failed. We do not care, we want to hear radio. Try again, and again, and again,... Got the message? And get rid of error messages... we know our phone providers in Midwest have crappy network.

STOP ASKING ME TO REVIEW YOUR APP. I ALREADY DID!

Nice app. I like the app and the developer updates regularly. I do have a request, if it's possible could you add podcasts as an option to choose from, and if not already available add hand off for HomePod. Other then that awesome job on the app.

Universal App or Not!. I thought when you bought this app you were buying a universal app that meant you could run it on iOS and Mac. Does not work for me, I paid on my phone and now it wants me to pay on my Mac, why? Definitely not an easy app to get along with it is a pain to try and find streaming radio stations to add to the app. Really needs a built in radio browser to make it easy to find and add stations. Spent a bunch of time adding a couple of radio stations only to find that by the next day they had disappear. Certainly won’t be adding them again to much trouble. This app is heading for the trash. Some documentation on how to find and add stations would have been very helpful!

Great App Across All Devices. Finally a universal internet radio app that supports all Apple platforms. Like that it syncs my favorites, Car Play support and Apple TV support.

Clean interface, works super smooth. A great app by one of my favorite developers. Great work, buttery smooth and simple to use!

Cross platform syncing feels like magic!. This app gives you the ability to collect your favorite radio stations all in one minimal setup. I bought it for my iPhone, but was pleasantly surprised when all of the custom icons synced beautifully to my Mac, iPad, and Apple TV. This app feels close to perfection for Internet radio in 2022. One small suggestion would be to enable Top Shelf support on the Apple TV.

Easy to use, but still needs SOME documentation.. This app was recommended so I gave it a shot. I couldn’t figure out how to add a station that wasn’t on the list. There is no documentation. I like the UI, tho. Very clean. Update: I figured it out. Changed my rating. But a help screen wouldn’t hurt.

Video support. I will give you five stars if it supports video streaming, please!

Fun 📻. Broadcasts makes music listening fun again. Brilliant app!

Almost great app. Does what it advertises well. What it really needs is better metadata support. Requiring a manual press of a button and an open microphone is difficult. This means it does not work for headphone listening. It also does not work with CarPlay for metadata. Ideally it would just parse the information it already displays regarding song name and artist to grab metadata automatically.

Search doesn’t work. Ok...now there is a long list of radio stations...but no discernible order to it, and no way to search for a particular station.. Surely, we are not expected simply to scroll through that long list every time we want to find a particular station. This app may be a nice idea, but it is definitely not ready for prime time. Make it workable...and provide instructions!

Fantastic App!. Just wanted to say that I love this app. I just it on the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch and it’s so awesome with how seamless it works between the three. Also love how you were able to add streaming on the Apple Watch version when other apps can’t even get streaming options going. Keep up the amazing work, I’m going to keep supporting you in anyway I can!

Can’t recommend highly enough. I use this app every day, and have loved it from day one. I recently had an issue with the app and contacted the developer for support, and he was very helpful. Terrific experience overall.

Pretty wonderful. I like where this is going. A station preview is vital to discovery. Can we get that added? I don’t know enough but title alone whether to add a station or not. I could delete it later, but that’s extra work. Thanks!

Who says radio’s dead?. I usually listen to podcasts when I’m doing chores, etc. But when I want something different I listen to music. This app is super easy to use and has a ton of selections from around the world. I’m not stuck listening to my own library all the time. Broadcasts is like shortwave for music.

Excellence in Minimalism. This may be free, but $5 enables a lot. He started out with the ability to manually add a station. Then added a directory with search capabilities broken down by country. Added CarPlay support. iCloud sync across devices, including macOS. I mean, even the app icon is cool. I don’t understand the hater’s gripes. I’ve paid $5 for apps I’ve used maybe 3-4 times. I’ll get a lot of use out of this one. And he’s submitted like 8 updates to this app in a week. He wants to get it right and it shows. Also, check the file size...

Potential. The lack of menu bar icon and persistence in the dock is a non starter for me. Seems like streaming app 101.

Custom URL. The app allows custom URL’s and easily change between them. It allows me to listen to my SDR scanners. I had been using tune in but this just worked for me.

Barely a Radio App. You have to pay for the ability to find out that adding new stations require you to find a station outside of the app, find its streaming URL (not its website URL), and pasting it into the app. No searching for internet radio stations. No easy way to add them. It’s a nice design but an unfortunate purchase.

Great app. I like simplicity and no ads. Great work. All features free for 9 stations, just edit/ rename stations or collection if you do not want to pay. But paid version brings so much

One of the greatest radio app.. Simple. Easy. Apple watch & TV support. My favorate App. Hope to support ~~.pls streaming address.

Best app for audio streaming. Finally added wrap around so if you get to the end of the list another press will take you back to the start instead of doing nothing.

Quick updates. App is great. Finding stations is as simple as searching. Moreover, the developer is quickly making changes and pushing updates.

Update to my previous. The developer has been really awesome in helping resolve the family sharing issue... great app love it!

Syncing doesn’t work now.. Syncing stopped working. Nothing happens when I click the iCloud sync button. It just says ‘local only’.

Missing feeds. Every time I go into the app, my feeds are gone. I have to scroll through (a not searchable and without a quick scroll on right side) the longest list to find my favorites. Only to do this the next time again. Please fix!

Good app if you use a vpn. I tried using the app without a vpn, and it wouldn’t connect. Once I spoofed it’s location with a vpn I could connect to all the locations. I think if they fix this one thing I would rate it 5 stars. I would like to be able to listen to stations from other parts of the world, unless it is a licensing issue then I am out of luck.

Minimal, but good. This app works great! It’s a simple, small macOS and iOS stream player, and it syncs very quickly. I can’t throw all the weird streams I want to test at it right now, but it’s working just fine for my local public radio station’s bog-standard MP3 stream. I would appreciate some Shortcuts support so I can ask Siri to play stations, but it’s so fast that I don’t mind doing it manually.

Great. This is a Great App. One of my favorite app on my Apple ecosystem

“Free” tier doesn’t work?. The marketing copy says, “Limited library of your own stations for free.” But adding my first station prompts with, “Trial library limit reached. Please upgrade to add more stations.” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Enjoying this app for live streams. This is a very interesting app. I’ve used it to listen to a few podcast live streams and it’s worked great. I’m looking forward to additional tweaks and updates.

Internet Radio. While I don’t use it for streaming actual radio stations, I love it for listening to live streams of podcasts.

Wish It Were More Stable. I desperately want to love this app. I love the design and features, and really want to support Indy developers. The app looks great on CarPlay screens, and it’s great how faves sync including to a Mac app. The iOS widgets are appreciated. All wonderful. Unfortunately, after 9 months of trying to be devoted to Broadcasts, I have to give it up for two reasons: streaming stability and missing stations in its directory. For whatever reason, streaming is way less reliable on Broadcasts than two alternatives, Apple Music and TuneIn. Broadcasts is much slower to start playing after hitting the play button, and streams are less reliable. Sometimes they never start, and they drop out way more frequently than on other apps. It becomes unusable on stations that have a long pre-roll announcement before the stream plays. Broadcasts directory of stations, while seemingly large, is missing a lot of key stations for me and I can’t find the URLs to manually add the stations. This is especially true for Canadian CBC and Australian ABC stations. These are public broadcasters, so it’s not a commercial exclusivity thing. I’ll keep checking on Broadcasts and hope for improvement, but have to move away from it for regular use.

Steve is fast and good!. I sent a feedback email in requesting a niche change to something to fix weird text rendering on my bluetooth car stereo and he wrote back that it was in the next release within 9 minutes. Good internet radio playback client, too :D
