A few kinks but amazing!. I remeber the jailbroken app. I spent countless hours on that app! I played through over 20 times. Now I can enjoy it again in the app store, but there are a few problems. The app seems sluggish and the GUI sometimes doesn't register a button press. I have screwed up countless levels because of this. I want the developer to fix this now and I will up the rating to five stars. The app stops working after you beat all the levels! This is unacceptable. I payed $2

Wonderful mimic of the original. Of any lights out clone type game, there is not a single one with better graphics. Playing this feels like the original game. I was so excited to find this app and haven't yet been able to put it down. Bravo!

So good. It was so good it made my life happy

Addicting and amazing. My cousin physically had this as a Christmas present when we were about 12 and 9 and I literally took over it and kept it as if it were my own . I’ve always been known as a button presser because any hand held game with buttons I would never put down . The fact that this is legitimate ly on the iPhone is so wonderful because I was trying to find this game for years . Still as thrilling as before . Still excited and eager to get to the next levels

Needs Improvement. This game app could be great. Currently, it has some problems. 1. The GUI is sluggish, almost buggy. Sometimes finger taps don't register at all. 2. At level 213, the program stops working. You can't even start the app. I've tried resetting the phone itself multiple times, but it still won't work. 3. The graphics are not as clean or brilliant as original pre app-store version. They're dull. 4. Many levels repeat. 5. There is no quick way to choose levels. For instance, to go from level 168 to level 1, you must tap the level button 167 times. And with the sluggish GUI... The concept deserves five stars but the execution is poor. If this is representative of all $2 games, I'll steer clear...

Waist of money. Bought this app. hasn't opened since I got it. Restarted phone, redownloaded the app. still hasn't worked.

Simple yet addictive.. Great game, loved it on the jailbroken phones last year, love it even more now! Great job.

Perfect.. It's an amazing game. Great graphics and sound. It keeps me entertained forever! Even my friends love it. I convinced my friend to buy it for her iPod Touch, and she hasn't stopped playing it. Great work Steve and Adam. 

Fantastic :). Had this on a jailbroken iPod Touch and now I have it on my iPhone 3G. Super excited. Developers did a fantastic job.

Yess!. I had a problem with an application that developer solved in an instant! The app is great, as we all know! Now, if I could only give it six stars somehow...8^)) On a different note, I have noticed that lights are a bit less responsive than in an original game. Is this hardware (3G) or coding issue?

Wow! Oldest game on the IPhone?. I saw this game on an iPhone before the world even knew iPhones were real. Or maybe just *barely* afterwards. But it was close (life was exciting back then, a lot was happening.) To see it updated for the iPhone 12‽ that’s amazing. Has any iOS app had such longevity? Amazing.

Broken. Doesn’t work on the iPhone XS Max. Developer unresponsive. Wish I could get a refund.

Doesn’t work for iPhone XS Max. This is a great game to play and pass time. But it doesn’t work for my iPhone XS Max. It still works on the iPhone 6s though.

It doesn’t work. Just installed on iPad Pro 11. No alignment between touch and the buttons. I want a refund.

Not like the original. It’s close but misses the mark. Resetting takes you through a flash sequence each time, gets very old very quick!

Right on the money.... Simple. Fun. And works flawlessly. Great application!

Good stuff. So addictive. I get 212 levels and wish there were more. But no crashes, no problems, and great replay value. The graphics are gorgeous...way to go Adam Betts. Add levels!

Just missing one thing. I love it so much makes me wanna break out my old handheld version, the only thing missing here is the hint button to help on those tricky levels.

Fun puzzler!. It was a fun game back in the pre-app store days, and now it's MUCH better! Give it a try!

Wait, What!. Holy throwback, Batman. I can't believe this was re-released in 2016 and I just found it! This was my favorite game on the orignal iPhone. Clean, beautiful, simple UI and gameplay. Can't wait to start my Lights Off obsession again.

Really wish I could get my $.99 back. This is horrible. The touch screen is so off that you can’t even accurately hit the right square. I honestly just went on ebay to purchase the original lights out hand held game. Please send me my money back. Thank you.

My New Favorite Game. I already wrote a review for this and sent it to the developer as @spoonforknife on Twitter, but I'd like to echo my sentiments on iTunes. This is a fantastic application, it's slightly buggy, but it was worth the wait and is worth it's low price. Great job.

WARNING VERY ADDICTING. I just downloaded this app and I LOVE IT. There is one MAJOR problem with it... It's addicting as heck! Don't start playing if yup have anything to do in the next hour or so because you will be late..lol...It earned a spot on my home screen. It also looks good on the iPad x2 mode but hope Steve comes out with a universal or iPad only version. Keep up the good work bro!

Broken. The buttons do not work and does not recognize taps. It turns the wrong lights on

I love LIGHTS OFF. I had my managers and co-workers playing this game. None of us really wanted to get back to serving tables. It's addicting!

Kind of a bait and switch.. Functionality is there, but this only allows you to play 10 levels before having to upgrade to the paid version.

Addicting!. Simple & Fun! You'll notice that games becomes alot faster after you use symmetry :) Hope to see a plethra of added levels on updates!!! THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS TO THE APP STORE!

Great game. Everything's great and all but the level selector does not work on mine. Deleted it and reinstalled it but still did not work. Plz fix!
