Very buggy on 40mm Apple Watch. Hello, I have a 40 mm Apple Watch series 6 and when i launch the Research app, and try to scroll, it will just bug out and not do anything. I have to reset my Apple Watch for my to be able to do anything.

This App Is SO BUGGY!. Love being able to participate and help with important research but everyday is a struggle to do so given how buggy and non-responsive the app is. Runs slow, lags, freezes, and it's been that way for months with NO fix or update. Hard to continue to want to help when such a simple app can't work properly and more come apps work with a breeze. PLEASE FIX!!!

Waiting for the next level…. This has been really cool to use. It could be so much more. The data being collected say in a “Stress Scale” or “Mood” survey, why not allow those questions and answers to be stored in the Health App for the user to be able to track for themselves and share with a medical professional? Just a thought.

Could it be better to worry about data and possible cures in the future instead. This app is so smart I love it I love the concept it’s amazing

Country restrictions. As the phone is available worldwide then the research app user from all over the world should participate the program. Then it will be able to analyze different kind of people all over the world and the research will be more accurate. Apple product should be for all kind of people regardless of race, religion or country. This why I am giving it 1 stars as I am unable to use it.

Why only residents of the US?. None of the studies are open for non residents of the US. This is quite disappointing to see that study results will then be representative only for this part of the world. Many others would be interested to participate in research but also, and more importantly, to see how results vary depending on context factors (I.e exposure to pollution in Asian cities, exposure to less than optimal hygiene conditions, etc.) Hoping to see the research make other parts of the world visible soon.

Needs to filter based on criteria. All in all, I’m very happy to participate in these studies. For all the people complaining about “lack of compensation” I would say that sometime we should just do things because they help others, not because we personally get compensation for it. Knocking off one star because it needs to filter the studies based on eligibility criteria. As a guy, I cannot possible participate in a cycle tracking studies, so it should either not be show at all or have an option to dismiss from your available studies due to ineligibility.

I think someone graduated and abandoned it. The project seemed to start with a head of steam and promise that dwindled down to a mere trickle to keep it alive for marketing purposes. I won’t waste any more time reviewing it than they have utilizing it. I base my rating on the (seemingly abandoned) promise and initial enthusiasm for encouraging participatory (or even) citizen science. Edit: I just dis-enrolled from the hearing study because of a new diagnosis that invalidates me from any hearing study, going back years. This means that all my data must be thrown out as invalid outliers. They’ll never know that, if anyone is using the data at all, because they didn’t take the opportunity to ask me why I was dis-enrolling. The only way to contact them is a phone call during their business hours. Oh you must be kidding me—in 2023?

Paving the way to a better future. I just like to think that if I could help and contribute to medical science, it’s the least I could do in this thoroughly thought out way by using our devices. With that note though, I like to say that since I’ve been in this research app, my Apple Watch battery level has been draining significantly.

Great app but needs some clarity. As an active person who may have multiple exercise sessions during a day, the “Perceived Exertion” study should identify the time of the activity so we can better respond to the data. If I went for a 30 minute walk and did a HIIT workout in the same day I’m not sure which activity you are referring to in the question. Obviously my exertion will be different and this could skew your study.

Good idea, PAINFULLY laggy. I like the idea of this app, and have been enrolled in a year-long study now for 245 days. When I first started the study the app was fine, but it seems like the longer I am in the study - and the more questions I answer - the laggier the app gets. It’s to the point where it is taking over one minute just to open the app and load my tasks, then my tasks take another 30-45 seconds to load - if the app will respond to touch input at all. Sometime the tasks will just crash after all that waiting. I think this is a great idea, I just wish Apple would get its act together and actually make the app function well - although maybe there is little incentive to do so when you are the only game in town. I would give this 4 starts for the concept, but only one star for execution, so I’ll settle on 2 and call it there. I’m hoping they work to provide a better experience for those users who are volunteering their personal data for research purposes. I don’t mind contributing to the greater good, but using this app every day is painful.

Causes massive watch battery drain. The app itself is fine, but whatever readings or data it’s pulling absolutely nukes my watch battery. The 5 already has bad battery life, but I was losing 10-12% battery per hour and would die mid-day. I’m all for the research, but not at the expense of my watch dying halfway through my day. Once I pulled out of the studies, my watch battery drain went back to normal.

Data won’t transfer after purchasing new iPhone 13 pro. Got a new iPhone 13 pro and my research app tries to transfer my data to the new phone and gets stuck every time. Sits at 60% for hours and never transfers. Have not been able to continue any of my research trails through the app due to this failure. And cannot reinstate as a new clinical trial patient due to the auto transfer that takes place when the app opens. These issues must be addressed and remedied. I cannot access any of my own data or my previous trial information. Please updated and fix!

Biased, Marketing strategy for Apple Watch. I’m an ultra runner and want to contribute to the heart and fitness studies. It says you need to record your workouts with an Apple Watch for the studies. Apple watches are activity trackers, not true fitness watches. My Garmin fitness watch is designed for athletes and adventurist (and other brands like Suunto) provide much better data than Apple watches, yet the wording sounds like I cannot contribute my data to the study. Why not let let us sync Strava, Garmin Connect, or another app’s heart data? Minus 1 star for marketing bias. Minus another star for not allowing non-Apple fitness watches to contribute data. Minus another star for no heart rate monitor strap support.

Not fit for longitudinal studies. Currently participating in a study that requires daily quizzes over the course of a year. About 4 months in & the app takes about 40 seconds to open. It also shuts down unexpectedly frequently. I’ve used this in the past for 1-time studies and it worked fine.

Study of human health leading to happiness. I find this health App helps me help myself. Twqhe recordings of my activity help scientist help future generations. With any luck my family will be healthier for it.I hope more do this. It will give a window into patterns that we might not be able to see that we do yourselves .Great way to help health advances .

Power beats pro don’t count for some reason. I’ve been trying to work and help with a couple studies. And for some reason the Powerbeats pro earbuds don’t count as compatible your buds for the audio test. I don’t know why but they do work with Apple play and have in your volume adjustment and loudness detection like AirPods do and I know it works with Apple but for some reason it’s not working with this app.

Basically Marketing. I’m fine participating in studies without compensation, but these are Apple marketing masquerading as research studies. I enrolled in the hearing study and it only allows you to use Apple products. I have really nice Sony earphones that would work fine, probably even better, but can’t participate because I have to have some form of Apple earphones. Lame.

Good But Needs More Studies. The app is very well made, but I wish there were more than 3 open studies! One is for women (I’m a man), and one is for Apple Watch users. So I’m only able to do one. Just wish I could be more helpful

Good app until this week. This app is crashing upon loading since 3-4 days ago. Restart phone does not help. Tried to go through app support but it is unnavigable. I’ve enjoyed contributing to the studies for many months now, but currently the app is unusable.

Neat app but too commercial - just taking my data for free. I'm not going to give my data to research partners so they can commercialize and profit off of me for free. Most studies pay participants something. I don't want any money unless the partners pay me a cut or use it specifically for research. I feel like this app is just making Apple and their partners money off our free data. NO!

Must have Apple Watch. I would have enjoyed participating in your research, however, your app will only work with an Apple Watch and NO other fitness tracking device. I understand Apple would like for us to use only their products. This interferes with true research and data collection. Please reconsider your stance, allowing other fitness devices that the Health App can work with would go a long way toward Medical Research...

Works well so far and makes ResearchKit centralized. I’m happy that this app makes it easier to join studies as opposed to ResearchKit apps in the past. Now more than one study can been in an app which is great!

Compensation required. Though this has been explicitly addressed multiple times, I do believe it is worth highlighting. Proper incentive structuress, ranging from research data access to gadgets, would empower people to own their personal data use. In a world bereft of privacy, where multibillion dollar companies milk customers for data, it may be a necessary foil for companies prostituting our data.

No and no. Normally you get paid for your time participating in medical research just like the researchers are getting paid/funded for doing the research. I would suspect that anyone that’s telling you to make a multiple year commitment with no compensation is in support of you being taken advantage of for multiple years. They could at least provide the “supplies” for the participants, ie Apple watches with cellular but, they expect you to commit and pay. #RIDICULOUS

Why only US. Why bother selling Apple products to other countries if you not able to accommodate. Why these studies only available for US citizens. I’ve been using Apple for over 3 years, but you still don’t have means to help us with anything related to Apple. All stores here in South Africa do not have the amount of service or help that I receive in US when servicing a phone or tablet. Please upgrade your services I feel left out.

Life will be better. As a scientific researcher myself I understand the importance of gathering data to help improve our technology and livelihoods. It takes 10 minutes of your day, not many days per month to contribute to the betterment of society. Knowing you are a data point that helps someone is worth 10 minutes! :) Apple’s involvement makes me proud to own Apple products!

Choices of answers frequently not appropriate. Answers to questions: have you started a new medication, have you stopped a new medication, has your dosage changed, prefer not to answer. Not of the possible answers are correct since nothing has changed. You cannot move on less you choose one. Studies must be getting lots V of prefer not to answer. Either Apple or the research study needs to provide a C no change answer.

Buggy Hearing Test. The app overall is pretty good but I’ve experienced bugs in the hearing study where the test just freezes on my phone or it starts doing it but instantly says my AirPods are disconnected even though they’re not. I want to do the survey but the app doesn’t seem to work.

Only two studies?. There are only three studies available at the moment, with one being for women, meaning that I can only participate in two. This is basically nothing. I will be back when there will be some actual selection. For now, three stars.

No way to report discrepancy between Settings and Study questions. The Apple Hearing Study initial survey and setup asks to verify Headphone Audio Levels in iphone Settings. However the questions the survey asks don’t correlate to the Settings options anymore because the iOS version has been updated from when the Study questions were created a few years ago, yet the survey was not updated to reflect the new setting options.

Mostly great, I enjoy participating.. However, sometimes the survey questions are poorly written. For example: “Have you have any of the following symptoms?” Option 1 is a symptom Option 2 is another symptom Option 3 is “I prefer not to answer” And there is no Option for “No, I have not had any of the listed symptoms. And you cannot move on to the next question until you choose an option. Option 3 isn’t appropriate because I am not refusing to answer. I want to say “None of these symptoms” or perhaps there is another symptom not listed. AND THERE IS NO WAY TO REPORT THIS TO THE RESEARCH TEAM that doesn’t involve a phone call or in some cases, nothing.

Technical issues and not living up to potential. This app has a lot of potential but so far only a few studies have used it and I wonder if that’s because the research app doesn’t work well for researchers and thus isn’t inviting. In any case the support for this app is non existent they have a studies support center that reads from scripts and doesn’t seem to have any experience with the research app and the documentation doesn’t explain certain troubleshooting scenarios and to make things worse the studies support center won’t escalate to someone who can help you. The research app after a new phone upgrade and following the transfer studies process never asked for Apple health access again and I can’t get access restored which means the app is no longer collecting data from me. Support was outsourced and unhelpful and refused to file a big report and tried to pin it on user error which it isn’t.

Inadequate privacy protection in view of anti-choice legislation. In the light of pending SCOTUS decisions and horrific laws in many states, I will be withdrawing my participation in the women’s health study as nothing in the informed consent or privacy disclosures indicates adequate protections for women’s data. Unfortunately, there is no way to do so in the app absent simply declining to participate, so the study authors will never know how many people declined further participation for this reason. That’s a shame, as it’s an interesting datapoint in re how violent anti-woman legislation affects research into women’s health, but then, the authors of these bills don’t care about women’s health.

Can’t Use It. I’m not sure what happened, but for the last month it will not let me click on any of the research questionnaires. Therefore, there is no purpose for this app. I don’t mind participating in the studies, but it’s a waste of my time when I cannot get into the surveys. Was there an update that occurred recently? For the second time, I have deleted the app. I will re-download it and hopefully it will work this time. If not, I will delete the app permanently. Fix it PLEASE!!!!!

STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT COMPENSATION. So many of the negative reviews are people complaining that they aren’t compensating for participating in studies. 1-No where does it say or imply that you will be compensated. Don’t get mad when you don’t get what was never promised to you. 2-No one is forcing you to participate. It’s a completely optional app. You download it if YOU want to participate in simple scientific studies. If you make the choice to download an app and participate in studies that do not say or imply that you will be compensated you can’t be angry when you aren’t compensated!!

Great start but could be so much more. I’ve been participating in the current studies for nearly two years, and as a researcher I love giving back to the medical community to help improve medical testing, biotechnology, and consumer technology. While these current studies are a great start, Apple could partner with so many other organizations and research centers to make so many more valuable opportunities available. I do agree with another reviewer: having permanent search filters would be helpful.

My thoughts. I am very thrilled to be a part of something for the greater good as a whole. Data used in this way given with consent and with transparency allowing me the “user” to become ok with it. Research and development are essential in all areas. When it’s stolen or manipulated or so long that the user won’t even read is not right. Thank you , that’s it

Unusable on Xs with 16.3.x. The audio study is unusable on iPhone Xs after installing iOS 16.3, including 16.3.1. specifically the audio tone exercises are unresponsive and very laggy. When I hear the tone it does not respond to me clicking the button, etc. InThe interest of good science I will not take a task that does not represent my best effort just to pencil whip it and complete it.I may therefore fall off the study because of incomplete tasks.

Family Health Info Problem (fixed!). Update 11/8: fixed the family health issue!! SE 3. After I enter my family health info I can’t press “Next”. It’s at the bottom and while I can pull up to see it, “Next” doesn’t stick and I can’t select it. I’ve been participating for the last few years and this is the first time I’ve had this problem for a study.

Should tailor the available studies to you. My iPhone knows that I’m a male and that I don’t have an Apple Watch. There’s no reason studies that require me to be female and/or have an Apple watch should be available to me. So far, this app is disappointing for the simple fact that it won’t show me studies in which I can partake or contribute.

Nice native research flow, needs incentive. Yes I will be that person who calls out that there’s no incentive for participating. Apple is a billion dollar company but expect people to just provide free data. It can be as easy as early access to beta apps or Apple Cash. I do like that the surveys are natively integrated which many other survey apps do not have. I haven’t gone through all the setup yet since I paused after realizing I was giving my data away for free. I guess in a sense the data is more accurate because people are providing their info without any incentive right now.

So worth it. I just wanted to write to balance out the absurd comments that somehow you should be compensated for this. Contributing to science and medicine/research is compensation enough, especially when this is so low effort and discrete.

Perimenopause Menopause Autoimmune Disorders. I wish they would track symptoms for perimenopause and menopause to accurately predict when we are in one phase or another including hot and cold flashes, sweeting “profusely” vs just sweating, sleep issues etc. I feel like it’s a massive gap in the Apple health app. But thankful to have anything focus on the plethora of women’s health issues. I also look forward to ability to track autoimmune disorders such as bouts of ulcerative colitis and MS.

More health studies are needed now. More Health studies are needed on this app because not everyone has heart problems or is a woman or have hearing problems. The add on studies could be epilepsy/seizure, COVID 19, dizziness, and more needs to be added to the Research app. Because a lot of people have all of those health issues every day. Also changing the weekly questions and not make them be the exact same ones every week because that doesn’t help with the health.

Profile form needs improvement. I tried to fill in my profile but I was not able to type in my phone number in any way. It seems like it only accepts the American or European ways of writing phone numbers. For example Korean mobile numbers start with 0 and we write it like 010-xxxx-xxxx. Can somebody look into it?

Couldn’t do anything cause of age. I put my date of birth cause I was going to do the data for menstrual cycle first because that’s really the only thing I could do. I’m 15, it said I’m to young. In the bio for that test it didn’t say a age requirement. All it said was I’d have to have had at least one period to take the test. I could change my age but I honk the app should allow you to participate in the tests even if you’re under age.

Very poorly done app. I thought participating was a good idea, adding to data to help others is always a good thing. Unfortunately the app would not allow me to change the date of birth, it would not accept my already set date of birth in my settings. Therefore it said I did not meet the age requirement as it had my birthdate set as TODAY. Ridiculous apple, what’s wrong with you?!

They sell your information. Well I downloaded this because I really believe that information can help people life somehow, but for my surprise two days after I answered the questions I received an email really specific about some of questions that I answered trying to sell me experimental medication for a thing that I didn’t even had heard before I answered those questions, so yeah it was exactly the same words from the questions, and actually it look like a spyware to me not even a real marketing, so to whom exactly they’re selling this, really? Terrible Idea, I will never do this again.

Love research studies. I am so happy apple has research studies. I signed up right away for the woman’s studies for Apple Watch once I had my new Apple Watch. I have also signed up for multiple studies. These studies help the researchers to help others. I don’t mind that we are not compensated because health studies save lives.

Keeps crashing. For the past 16 days I have been trying to report changes to my medication but the app crashes every time. Fix it.

Limited research studies. There is only a selection between three different research studies. I have only writing this review to have the university of Illinois College of medicine lightning injury research program from UI health, emergency medicine, UIC. Be included, hopefully in an update so that I may participate there needs to be more research studies or an option to start your own and provide data and biometrics to already established research programs. Still pretty cool though

Huge Drain on Watch Battery. Tried using the App for a few days. It cut my Watch battery life to where the watch was unusable. In 1/2 a day the battery went to Zero and offered me the 5 minute emergency extension. I took two and 1/2 hours to recharge on a fast re-charger. I don’t recommend using this app.

Eats up battery. What a great idea for an app! I downloaded it, signed up, all good. Very well done. But then I kept seeing it eat 10% of my battery every day and I couldn’t help wondering why it doesn’t do it’s work during the many hours the phone is plugged in. Because I need my phone, I had to uninstall this great app.

Apple makes it easy to participate. I appreciate Apple releasing a unified research app to standardize the study experience, ensure a consistent approach to user privacy, and provide a detailed breakdown of consent to all aspects of a study.

Hearing test doesn’t recognize beats Flex. Hearing test doesn’t recognize beats Flex. My beats Flex are on Bluetooth and every other app knows they are there. I would like to contribute to the hearing research if you can get the hearing test to recognize my beats Flex earphones when on Bluetooth.

Easy & Meaningful. I love that I can easily contribute to the advancement of medicine by using an app! The info for each study is detailed and clear, and I can’t wait to participate further! Highly recommend!

This app is just a nice cover. First i had great feeling that apple did great movement, but when i wanted to enroll for the research the study said i cant enroll for any studies at this app, because i was not from US, how cheap is this experience they could collect my data but analysis only data from US... that was awful. Shame on you!

Buggy, loses data. Had been in a research group. One day it failed and app couldn’t read data. Now app, even new app doesn’t work at all

Studies don’t compensate you for participating. Why should I share my data for studies? Many studies compensate participants for getting involved in the study or sharing their data. Nice concept. But Apple is probably making money off the app by charging the studies to get access to participants’ data.

Not working. I am happy to help and devote some time to this research, but I also expect that my time feels valued. That is not the case with this app. It is plagued with frequent bugs and non functioning. The latest update leads to the app crashing after the practice test. 🤷🏻

🤨. Why is there not a Men’s Health Study option as well?

Seems great but incredibly buggy. Stopped sending me alerts and nothing I could do would reenable the alerts except deleting and reinstalling the app. After that it showed me as having never done any research studies event though I’ve sent months of data. 😢

Notifications & App crashes. I’ve been getting push notifications constantly from the app, I click and it crashes each time. Can’t even open the app anymore bc it immediately crashes.

Terribly slow if in long term studies. This app is almost impossible to use if you’re participating in a long term study that has collected a ton of data. Please fix it it is very frustrating. Update: app is still insufferably slow. I am required to fill the surveys by one study I participate in so it is very frustrating

Wanted to like it.. I really wanted to like this app. I strongly support the idea of sharing the data. Unfortunately it was killing my battery life so I had to delete the app.

Great interface, satisfying cause. I’m a huge fan of open source initiatives like crowd sourced research, and this is spot on in that regard. Love it!!

Could interact with participants better. I was enrolled in the hearing study, but when it came time to do the hearing test I couldn’t tell when the test had started. I take annual hearing tests due to my work so I know my hearing is pretty good, but I couldn’t hear any noise during the hearing test. I wasn’t even sure the test had actually started. Still not sure....

Bluetooth issue. I have an issue where ask to connect my AirPods when I have them connected it’s says not connected and I can not continue with the task. Please fix. Thank you.

Surveys??. I participated in the old heart research. Never once did I have to participate in survey. The app doesn’t mention how often they will hit us with surveys. I would be happy to participate in the heart and hearing studies, but before I fill out all kind of forms I want to know how often we’ll be hit with surveys. I don’t have time for that. I workout heavily three time a week and my info would be beneficial, but I just want to provide what the phone and watch provides and not be stuck constantly filling out surveys. If they provide that information, then I will join.

Can’t use the app because of a Bug. I cant get it working, because when I want to enter my personal information, it keep saying that my phone number is invalid. I’ve tried all format, with + or 00 or without them.

Great app. Great app but am not happy that when I deleted the app and reinstalled it it did not have an option to “sign-in” instead I had to redo the whole process

Killed my Apple Watch battery. When I enrolled in Multiple studies my Apple Watch 4 battery didn’t last more then an hour. Had to disable the studies. If I had taken it to Apple they would have said I needed a new watch cause that’s what they do. Anyway took all the studies off and my watch works like new.

Performance issues. I joined a research study and began using the app. About 6 months in, app began freezing, loading very slowy, crashing. Makes it difficult to complete the required surveys.

VO2 Max is Not Accurate. How does VO2 Max levels go down month after month with exercise? My level this year was in the high range before exercising 45 to 60 minutes per day and now I am below average. It decrease each month as I increased my minutes in Peloton. Please go back to the drawing board in this calculation. You have it backwards.

Only for US residents. Super upset about this. I thought it would be super cool to participate in studies and I’m really upset to find out that these studies will only be representative of a small part of the world. There are so many different people around the world who have something to give to these studies and only basing it on the US, is not a full and round study.

Unable to transfer studies to new iPhone. Been trying to transfer studies to new iPhone but the progress stalls at 40%. Tried reinstalling but same issue. Is there any way to fix this?

Great app. Great app, just beware if you reset your phone, as you will need to re-enroll in any studies that you were apart of.

Seemed to impact battery. My Series 1 Apple Watch was easily getting through the day prior to enrolling in Research... and couldn't get past 2PM after enrolling. I needed to quit the study to make my watch usable again.

Froze after last update. My app froze after last update.. .. It ask questions but froze and cannot give answers

No Incentives - Doesn’t Work. Nothing is offered in return but much is gained by Apple. The phone number I put in is ‘invalid’ despite it matching with my region and I know for a fact its valid because I’ve been using it for 9 years. Waste of time and storage space.

Ok, but I have a problem. Ok, so I'm enrolled in the hearing study. It wants me to take the tone test. I get to the find a quiet place screen, and the app refuses to let me continue. It's like voiceover is getting in its way. No, I can't try without voiceover. I'm completely blind, except for light. I'm about to report this elsewhere. How can I be in the hearing study if I can't take the test? I'm about to throw the whole thing out!

Feature request. It would be nice when I download my Medicare claims, if they could be inputted to Apple Health.

Bug. I don’t know how else to advise of a bug (thank you digital): it seems there is a little bug that does not allow to save a profile with a number format +34/+49. I always get invalid number advise and hence cannot safe profile and hence cannot enroll in any studies even if I’d like to.

Fix the transfer process!!. App started crashing a few weeks back. Deleted and reinstalled. App opens ok, but when attempting to transfer data it always crashes at the 25% mark. Fix this!!

COVID19. It will be so challenging if the latest Coronavirus can be in our hands...we know much about them, furthermore monitoring this disaster will be so helpfull Thanks for dedicating this app for us Apple😍✌🏼

Bad for watch battery. I love the idea of the app. I love being able to help scientific research progress overall and with wearables. I’ve noticed a significant difference in my watch battery life before and after this app. That’s the only negative I have so far.

Kills watch battery life. The Research app is a great idea, but as others have said in much more detail, it just kills battery life. Uninstalling the app does not fix it. It is necessary to unpair and re-pair the watch to restore battery life. I certainly won’t be reinstalling the app on the watch until there’s an update to address the problem.

One idiot can ruin a whole app. To enroll in a study, you have to enter your birthdate. But unlike countless other apps that let you enter your birthday freeform, or let you quickly spin tumblers — in this app YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY PAGE BACKWARD THROUGH EVERY MONTH STARTING NOW, ONE AT A TIME. I tapped for what felt like hours and I was still 5 decades away. Sorry. Do better.

Broken. Been using this important app since it debuted. It has recently broken. When I touch its icon it crashes and will not open. Am participating in several of its studies and don’t want to lose all my data by deleting and reinstalling. Please fix.

Keeps crashing. I have been getting numerous alerts per day but the app crashes no matter if I attempt to open it from the alert or by going to the app. It is up to date. I have rebooted my phone and it just crashes.

Great idea. Glad to Participate in studies that will help people one of the better apps that should really be recognized. Thanks Apple.

More research studies. It may be out of your control, but it would be nice to have more research studies.

Helping future generations. All these people talking about incentives are selfish. You shouldn’t need to be paid to do good. Most of you don’t give to charity, and this is a way for you people to do so.

they want too much. today i got a request to amend what information the heart study collects. they wanted identifiable information and then (and this is the killer) they wanted the right to use that information in the future however they see fit. are you kidding me!! no way, then the process in the app to manage this is terrible there seems to be no way to decline, only cancel. then when i went back in to re-read the request i got just a thanks and done. well im done, i want to participate but not like this

Needs AirPod 3 Support. I tried to complete a hearing test but the app does not recognize AirPod 3. The app should be have be updated shortly after they were announced.

Pointless. It’s kind of stupid that I don’t meet the age requirements for anything. Like why encourage people to download it. I am willing to put in my free time to do surveys for you, which I receive no benefit, and I can’t even do them? It’s a load of crap. I was excited to do my part.

Where do I file bugs?. It appears the hearing study doesn't recognize airpods pro as a valid device for the hearing tests.

Research. I wanted to join research because my hearing is going and I get silent afib for low blood pressure. The app keeps telling me to transfer my information to this phone. My other phone is just an emergency number. I don’t have research app on that phone. Since it was not able to let me join, I deleted the app because it is worthless.

Needs incentive. Apple needs to provide some incentive for study participation. I love what they are doing, but there should be some kind of benefit to the person providing the information. Credit to use on the iTunes Store is all it would have to be.

Great research opportunity. This is simply brilliant! With these studies, we’ll be jumping towards a new way of knowledge of pur health! Good one Apple. You’ve done it again.

Research app unresponsive to taps on “studies” tab. While other aspects of the Research app seem to be working fine, the most recent version freezes on its “studies” tab. That tab (and ONLY) that tab) is unresponsive to screen taps. User can’t respond to “study” questions. Needs a fix.
