Remote Control for Roku App Reviews

It’s not the best. This app is good but it takes forever to load when I turn off my iPad.But its not as bad as the other apps I’ve tried!

Roku Remote. Terrible it’s a scam

It’s okay. My kids lost our roku remote so I downloaded this app and I’m able to actually use our roku stick now but I do have to restart it a lot cuz for some reason it randomly disconnects from it and can’t find the device

App. I have to unplug my Roku stick every day for this app to connect to it

Roku. It works and it is for free but I wish every time I got outThere's not an ad every time I get out there's an ad also I've been trying to turn it up and down and there's no volume button🤦‍♀️

Idk. My review is, it is a really good app but it doesn’t have A sound button and I don’t like that because that’s the whole reason I got a remote on my phone so I gave it three stars cause it’s a really good app but it doesn’t have a sound button.

Can’t make remote work. I recently changed my router and I can not update this information. My remote does not work at all now

Utterly Useless. The remote will not connect. If perchance we do get it to connect, the connection only lasts for a few minutes and the goes offline.

It’s just terrible. Don’t waste your time on this. It doesn’t even work so I try to connect mine TV and doesn’t even work the first time so don’t waste your time.

Free. Does not stay connected and ads pop up but it is free and works with my old pod so all is good

It’s good for free. It’s cool because it’s free and you can get a good amount of clicks in before an ad pops up (though every time an add pops up I have to close the app and bring it back up or it will just be stuck in loading mode). But again that’s not too bad my only real issue with it is everyday I have to delete it and redownload it because otherwise it won’t find the TV.

No subscription. Can use for free and don’t need a subscription to use

Terrible. What the app does best is to lose WiFi connection, resulting is constant need to restart iPhone and Roku device until somehow they finally connect. It’s the worst and boo.

It works so well, but the volume button. It works very well and you can control it, but the only issue is is the volume button. I’ve tried so many times to look for the volume button, but there is just no volume button.

Missing Volume Control!. I love the way this one works , unfortunately you will soon see, there is no way at all to control the Volume. Unfortunately this led me to find another Roku Remote App. I know Roku Remotes have volume on the side, so you could please add Volume Buttons on the screen…

Surely this app that works so well could identify Roku media system as Roku and not device with o4 beside it, granted I have lights connected to WiFi but that’s independent plus having a zoomed in picture of remote when other companies provide apps that just show whole remote on phone screen size all at once just like calculator or other app would it not be possible to scale the style of remote to match remote

Best Yet. I've tried numerous Roku Remotes. This is by far the best for my needs. Its simple to use. Uncomplicated to set up. Best of all it works!!! I don't need volume. It might be nice however I have my tv remote for that. This one works. I've bought and replaced numerous roku remotes only to have them guppy. Wo t connect, batteries for some reason quickly drained etc etc etc. I got so sick of googling to trouble shoot and jump through hoops to fix my romu remote. Let alone the expense. Roku has a remote issue. Love my roku. However the remote issues may be a deal breaker someday. This is a work around that works.

Could be much better. This app has 2 huge drawbacks. First, the apps that pop up every few seconds while using it are hugely annoying. While trying to type anything like passwords, it can cause you to make mistakes and prolong the task. Secondly, inability to use the direct app features (I.e. Netflix or prime) buttons and lack of volume control hurt usability.

Love it. I have a Roku remote but it broke and I love this app it is a great replacement for the remote
