Very Nice...so far!. I downloaded this in July, when it was Pixanova. I had not yet looked at it. So then I see this update, and it says Superimpose AI. Then I have trouble finding the app on my screen. I find it and check it out. Looks really good, with many cool features. I'm not one to do subscriptions, as I liked it better when it was one time payment for a paid app. But may make exception for this. It offers a lot, and does it well. It's only about 91¢ a month, paying by the year. I've been using Superimpose for 11 years. Superimpose me impressed with this! It gets six stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t know about this. To be honest, 2012 PhotoWizard for the iPad is superior to any photo editing app I know, My opinion still stands today. This app sort of structured like photoshop which in my opinion is not fun. I’ve been using Photoshop in my profession career and there is nothing wrong using it. This app is just trying so hard to be what’s not. I don’t need a app that is mimics Photoshop. I want a app that is simple and fun( and could uphold high quality image) this is why 2012 PhotoWizard HD for the iPad is better than any other photo editing app today.

An INCREDIBLE bargain that adds MAGIC to SuperimposeX. WOW! I can't even begin to mentioned how impressed I am with the AI features (in beta?) that were added to this app formerly branded as Pixanova. SuperimposeX that I've used since Dec 2017 has been my go to photo editing app on an iPad Pro, despite the fact I also subscribe to Adobe Photography Plan ($120 year) and since 2022 also many AI apps like Midjourney. SuperimposeAI at $12 annually is an incredible steal at this price, a rare bargain. It brings the ease of one click editing via several AI features while retaining the powerful features of SuperimposeX for those who want to manually tweak. The developer, Pankaj is very responsive and often incorporates user suggestions into the app. I just LOVE it...

Would Be Good As Premium. While I'm grateful this developer didn't ruin Superimpose X with a greedy subscription plan and instead made that for this new app. Well, I wish that this was just a premium application that we could purchase for one fair price. I believe that this is a great app and would be worth a one-time fee. If the developer ever changes the pricing to premium I'll be more than happy to pay anywhere from $5-$15 for this app one time. I bought and paid for SupermImpose X, and now I have this? (Pixanova). This is dishonest as f*#K. To update my app from Superimpose X, which I paid for, over to Pixanova, which is a subscription app, but then to continue to offer SuperImpose X for $4.99 in the App Store? No. I want Superimpose X. Give me the option to *choose* Pixanova and it’s monthly/yearly subscription model. Do not update me to a different app, and then offer the very same app that I already paid for, in the App Store for another $5. I was faithfully using SuperImpose and SuperImpose X for years and I absolutely do not mind paying outright for a good app. I do mind this goddamned bait-and-switch of my existing app to a new one, while offering the exact same app separately, to buy again, in the App Store.

Great for dual pics. Recently got put on to this by my boy AveryB and this is highkey one of the best picture editing apps if you can really understand it (which isn’t hard) put your mind to it and create the best picture you want 💯

Total ripoff. I got this app in order to be able to work with more than one layer at a time. I can add one layer but when I try to add the second layer, instead of allowing me to access my photos it sends me to a page for subscribing to their premium collection. If I click on the x to exit that page and try again to add a photo, the same thing happens in an endless loop. I wrote to ask for help, as their tutorials invite you to do, and got no response. These are sleazy and unethical business practices!

Used to work well. The app worked fine prior to the updates. Now it cannot do simple masking without crashing. Even offloading and deleting the app did not help.

Bad. I think it would be a great app but I could not do anything because you have to buy it anyways and I don’t want to pay for a app so I am saying in the future please make ur so that we don’t have to buy it.

Dissapointing. This app is a rip off. You can only use TWO LAYERS without buying there subscription. You cannot do anything cool with this. Do not download until they change this for free users.

Can’t Open the App. How do you open this App on an iPhone? There is a short menu that appears when they app is opened. There is no indication to move beyond.

I paid for SuperimposeX “NEO” now it’s changing... I’m changing my 5 star review to 1 star because of the developers business practices. So I Purchased SuperimposeX NEO and it disappeared from the App Store, but I could still use it. Now the NEO version of SuperimposeX is changing to Pixanova with a yearly subscription? Btw from what I could tell the paid version SuperimposeX “NEO” is/was exactly the same as the original SuperimposeX. What gives?! This developer is straight trying to rob us and squeeze every last dollar out of its users. UPDATE: 2 hours later, well…. I didn’t have automatic updates on, but my SuperimposeX “NEO” updated on its own for for some reason?! I guess the automatic update setting is just for show on iOS, but I digress. So far it’s not asking me to pay a yearly subscription…..yet….at least. Maybe the subscription is only for new users, but idk? I’m changing my review back to 5 stars because it is a great app. I’ll update again after I use the new “app?” Or is it just an update? Again idk? Bt, I have absolutely no problem paying for an app. I do have a problem with paying for a paid version of the app that is the same as the free version. Anyway, I’m still standing by what I said about the lack of integrity & shady business practices of this developer. Update # 3 July 14, 2021 My final update…I hope. I first would like to apologize for my remarks towards to developer(s) in my previous updates. As for the app itself & For no particular reason, I haven’t really been using this app as much as I used to. With that being said, the app is solid, functions great with great features. I’m no application expert, but other than the layout of the app changing, I couldn’t find/notice any added features, enhancements or improvements to this app compared to the free supper impose x and the one I paid for superimpose x neo which now morphed into this current app. Anywho, apologies for being frank, but….well…. but……but nothing. Happy app-ing

Please fix bug for 5⭐️. There is a bug where music being played in the background cuts out when I open the app. Also there is not enough variety in the text font selection.

The Original App Was Better. I run an art and edit account on Instagram and Superimpose was my go to app for editing. Unfortunately, I was working on an edit when support for the original app was suspended. I lost my edit and all 300+ overlays. The new app is also VERY touchy with masking and the zoom feature. If there isn’t a way to transfer edits and/or overlays over then I may be looking for a new app.

Please read. So I love the game I learn more and more but they kinda make you buy premium once you have three layers no more and in the images it shows you can remove unwanted stuff well that’s with premium unless you change your background . Hopefully customers read this and developers do too cuz all the cool stuff is for money maybe a free trial week? Just a suggestion have a nice day or night or whatever

Great App but not balanced in terms of Different Race. I was searching for pics of Earth and I only saw one Race which I think is concerning!

What more for free. The tools available are like no other editing app. I highly recommend it and again it’s FREE.

Major Bugs with Masks and Layers. Major bugs with Masks and Layers. When masking, the layer below is not visible. I have all this developer’s photo editing apps. This is the only one with this bug. The AI doesn’t work very well, especially the theme changer.

Skip it. Get the newsest offering by creator. This just like the other offering by creator is great however i stupidly just bought this version when their is a newer superior product. I find itnshday they allowed me to buy this rather than the newest one. I would have given this 5 stars otherwise. I feel bad doing a one star rating as its based in shady behavior of the makers rather than quality of software.

What even?. I seen a great video of someone using this app, only to be disappointed. Who makes someone pay to erase! This is crazy!

app went downhill fast. extremely disappointing to see what used to be a decent cheap photo editor become another garbage wasteland stealing other people’s art for terrible algorithmic “AI” generation. i wish i’d never downloaded it

Project folders. This app is really amazing. I’ve had this app for about 2 and a half years now and it’s really good. But I have an idea that is really simple, can you add folders for our projects? I would like to keep my ideas and designs separate in different categories. Like one folder is for designs, and the other is for photoshop etc. Would be really great if you can add folders.

bad. the original app was wayyy better. i had a fan acc where i made edits and now this app is not the same, it asked me to pay $44 when the original was only 1.99. please let us go back to the old one

great app, sleezy developer. I’ve been using this developer’s app Leonardo, and then Superimpose X, and they were both awesome, until they weren’t. This editing software is actually really powerful, especially for an iOS app. However, the developer has made 3 different nearly identical apps now, and pushes you off the old apps by dropping the quality inside the app and saving images massively. It happened to me on Leonardo (which is also paid) so I bought Superimpose X. Now, it’s happening on Superimpose X, forcing me to go to Superimpose X Neo. This new app is literally identical to Superimpose X, but the cost of the app is now $20. Now, a $20 price tag is fair on this app, because it’s a great app, but I don’t plan on giving the developer any more money. DO NOT GIVE THIS DEVELOPER ANY MORE MONEY, PLEASE!!

Original App was better. Original app was so much better. Format is horrible and new features too. Pretty sure people used this app as a simple way to make edits.

Not a fan of this most recent update. It was about as perfect of an app as it could be prior to this new update. Now it’s all slow and clunky and just not efficient imo. The old saying still holds true, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Go back to old design, please.

Used to be great—now unusable. I’ve been using this app for over 5 years. It was fantastic. It took me about a month to really get the hang of, but once I did, I could edit a picture in 5-10 minutes and it looked great. I recommended it to everyone I knew. After the most recent update, however, it is virtually unrecognizable. First, you have to pay for the app, which I didn’t mind because it was a fantastic app and they deserved to make a little money. However, after paying, Ive noticed some significant changes. Second, the use went from a phone-friendly experience to confusing and aggravating. I’ll move some text and a completely different photo/text group later will either delete, shift, flip, or change. Right now, I’m trying to put some text over a photo, which should be easy enough, but every time I finish, the text re-formats itself into a completely different font and size that I didn’t choose. Thirdly, the mask feature has somehow gotten worse. I thought an update could only help, but this has gone backwards. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. This app was just fine. Needed a small bit of tweaking but they’ve essentially created a new app—completely different than the predecessor. You’re better off spending 20 dollars elsewhere.

Terrible. When I try to cut out a layer, it asks me to pay to keep it. Don’t get this app

I’m still confused with reviews. All the CURRENT reviews seem to say X is the best and X Neo a bomb. It’s too late now to get my $20 back. I just don’t see what all this was for. SuperimposerX is so fabulous. I tried finding the magic brush, default what, not where instructions say it is? I can only hope this gets fixed before it’s dropped.

Not really newbie friendly. I was sold on this apl by an ad I saw promoting how easy the app is to use for newbies. I dont feel that way though. If you dont anything aboit photography its not user friendly by any means. Either that I am doing som wrong because I cant get anything to flow with ease the videos make it out to be. Id like easier instructions if possible.

Phenomenal!!!. This app is PERFECT for beginner photographers. It has an EXTREMELY wide range of features that many other apps can’t supply. If you’re looking to get really serious really fast, this app is for you. There is a pro feature that you might want if you have a wider imagination, but it would suffice many beginners, and maybe even some professionals! So for those of you who think this is a paid review, you’re wrong! I mean EVERY word I’m saying. GET THE APP 💜

Full Access. No thankyou. I did a lot more w/ superimpose free then it kept failing to open... hmm. I bought superimpose x, soooo many layout issues at least on iPhone X. Then the decent features needed be bought. Superimpose was my goto and you got greedy. Greedy little company - less layout care - long as you can make a $. From best to wor$t.

one of my fav apps for editing!!. i really love using this app for editing it’s literally my first option always but one thing that I need to critique is this version of the app, in my opinion old version was easier for me, the tools were more easy to find instead of clicking so much buttons to get into the tools options that it’s what this new version have. But in general i recommend this app so so much it has so much tools that are free!!!

Very good app. For the photo

This one once good now you have to pay for every little thing. No longer a good thumbnail app you have to pay for everything I deleted it.

Great app. This is the only superimpose app I could find that works on my old phone. It works really well, almost zero glitches even on iPhone 5s. Lots of free features, too, unlike other photo/video editors I’ve tried. Really great app overall!

Not a fan of the updates. As far as I’ve noticed I can mostly ignore the new AI updates and still continue using the app for what I’ve been using the superimpose apps for for a decade now, but the app now shuts off music from playing when it’s opened and you can’t even turn it back on, just stops playing again. Please fix this, I pay for this app.

Yet another creative app from a proven developer. This is yet another good app. Even though I use SuperimposeX as my main app for image editing, this app is unique in itself for easy masking using AI.
