12+ year old hardware. I had back surgery when I was 13 years old and I’ve seen many X-rays from before surgery but never got one after and just recently I unfortunately got a kidney stone and I asked for copy of them. I got it in a CD and in some kind of file that my friends computer couldn’t read. I just saw my hardware for the first time since I got it with this app. It wasn’t even that confusing to do. Thanks.

Great DICOM viewer!. This is a great DICOM viewer, allowing you to store and review Xrays and MRIs on your iPhone or iPad. It was one of the few free apps out there that allowed me to import files from cloud storage seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Fantastic!. I like it when things work and do as they should. This app really does as it should. Doctors don’t really give you much time to go over the scans with you in office and this app is a great way for the patient/student to take a look around.

Measurement in pixel. The app is really good for personal use, but the measurement is in pixel.

Sets a standard!. I never knew what a dicom was until I had a surgery. That’s when I ran into this masterpiece of an app. This app is a masterpiece, make no doubt about it: • Butter Smooth (UX) user experience- tap this, to do that is elegantly designed and nothing is hassle to reach or do in this elegant app • Human Designed UI - places the user interface where you need it, tucked out of the way, as if invisible… you won’t notice it as you click and tap on things, in other words.. when you open this app and use it for the first time, you won’t be confused hope to go about things… • Importing full folders from your iCloud onto this app.. is effortless, and if you have multiple folders to import from a set, it remembers the last folder you imported, so you won’t forget your position, in other words… you’ll know which in s the next folder to import, from your set. All in all, a wonderful experience when interacting and getting things done in this app. As a game designer for virtual reality, this is what I call a masterpiece in design & execution. Thank you for this app, apple needs to do an editorial favorite with this one.

App is Free, Intuitive, and Useful - Except When It’s Broken. It seems new iPad updates breaks the viewers in some ways. I upgraded to an iPad Pro and tried to import DICOMs via Google Drive, and it’s stuck on the loading screen. I can’t figure out why

Best Application for Reading MRI/CT Scans. This is the best application for reading MRI and CT scans that I’ve found for IOS apps. It has the capability to reference multiple series with lines marking the relations to the other series which I didn’t find in other apps and which is an essential feature.

Works great.. As a healthcare worker I knew I needed a Dicom viewer to view my own x-rays at home on my computer. This is exactly what I needed and it works great. Now I can always get a disc from the radiology office and view them at home and keep for my own health record.

Crashes. Crashes when opening .zip file option using 2020 iPad Pro (11”). Will open single image files.

Love the app. Very easy to use and view mri scans i have been using it for a while it is the best so far compared to others. One issue though since the last update the cross-references disappear, i liked it better before the latest update.

Works like a charm!. I’ve had a cd of s brain scan they did on me in 2012, and have been looking to find a way to read it ever since. I normally only give four stars, because every app could be improved/isn’t perfect (like people), but this app gets the 5th for being free, and giving me the opportunity to see files that I couldn’t open for 10 years. What a blast from the past. This looks like it could be really useful; Good job DEVs. One thing I would add is the ability to read the entire data block on the ‘studies’ page; For me, it gets clipped off/truncated.

Not working on iPad Pro with latest iOS. I downloaded the app to see my CT Scan and X-rays. I am able to import the DICOM files, but the the app gets stuck and even though the files are in the app, I can’t view them. I tried a similar app in my laptop and worked flawlessly.

Fantastic and just what I needed. I had come away disappointed with the osiriX hd app that I tried because it was the same company that made the O Siri X lite application that ran fine on my computer and that came with the CD from the Radiology office. The good news is that in the comments there someone pointed me to this app and this app is just what I needed. it’s got a nice interface and it allows me to look at the x-rays I wanted to and this is probably the only time all year that I want to look at an x-ray so it’s just what I needed. thank you so much for creating it.

Fantastic and intuitive viewer for MRI and other imaging. It's rare that I leave a review, but it's even rarer that a free app exists for years, works well, has an intuitive interface that doesn't look and feel like a software developer's mock-up sans any UI / UX touches, and lacks ads or in-app purchases. Wow. Since there's no mechanism to pay, I'll just say, on behalf of humanity, thank you.

Crashes when opening uploaded zip file studies. Using iPad 2020 with latest iOS. I’ve imported four zips. One works, three crash when I try to open them even though the import seemed to work.

poor support. If you are not going to support your product by having a simple faq then why even make an app. Also, deleted the app with it’s data, reinstall, still get the same studies I had before. Maybe I’m a luddite, 17 years creating cgi animations for commercials and TV productions and 3rd year BSN student, and just need to recompile their code so stuff ACTUALLY WORKS.

Very good viewer. The feature of displaying of position of cross-section in-sync among series is so cool! It is easy to understand the location in the scanned area, even for a non-professional. There is a room for improvement in how we configure viewing modes and select tools though. It was not intuitively clear for me that the top selector is actually switching something besides just helping with navigation.

Most Recent Update Made Useless. The most recent update will no longer recognize any of my imaging files. Any time I try to open a set of CT or MRI images it shows an error message the "This Zip file format is not supported." but the images I am trying to open have previously worked without issue. I've tried removing and re-loading images, uninstalling and re-installing the app, nothing has fixed the error. The only reason it is not one star is because it still opens my ultrasound files without issue.

Lost a little in the latest update. The series don’t show whether the series is T1 T2 or more detail on the series name. The previous version used to do that. Also the measurement tool is harder to use. The last version was better. Otherwise a great tool.

Great for viewing my MRI. This app was perfect for viewing my MRI (for a herniated disc) on the same day I got it done. Thank you for making this app available and making it completely free! I initially tried to view my MRI using OsiriX Lite on my Mac. But that app and its UI are designed for radiologists and are quite overwhelming and inaccessible for non-professionals / patients (and I am good at computers). This app on the other hand has just the right amount of features for patients wanting to see their MRI and is fairly easy to use once you figure out some nonobvious things about the UI. I do think it should have a manual or tutorial because a few core features are not immediately intuitive. It took me a little while to figure out that I had to drag the thumbnails of the MRI sequences in the bottom up into the window panes above to view them. Even just showing an information alert when you try tapping those thumbnails would be helpful. Discovering the long press shortcut menu took even longer. For controlling contrast and brightness I think sliders would be better than dragging horizontally and vertically. At least for non-professional users like myself. Importing the DICOM images worked flawlessly via a zip archive I put into my Dropbox folder and then selected from there in the app.

Really enjoying the app but.... I decided to put all the mri info I had on the app and it works like a charm, but when I’m scrolling different picture sets within a subject, the entire program quickly crashes. (Very predictably for these certain groups of photos.) I’m pretty curious why that is happening just with certain pixel sets. It doesn’t seem very random.
