Incredible Partnership. I been working alongside Wayfair for a year now. It truly is a incredible company that works alongside its pro in making sure they have the support they need to be successful. Application is easy to use and understand, you know the item and location from the start. Very positive experience.

Use Taskrabbit for furniture assembly needs instead.. Like all of the other negative reviews, this company underpays the contractors & wayfair charges the client double or triple the amount for the assembly. We get $41 for a bedframe assembly or $51 for a dresser, when the customer pays over $100. You always have to be on them if you don’t receive a payment or if the time of assembly goes over their estimates. Customers constantly cancel or reschedule jobs so don’t rely on this job as your sole income. The work they expect you to do for the pay sometimes is laughable, like a kids bunk bed for $51. If you’re a worker don’t waste your time, if you’re a client don’t waste your money on their assembly services. Get better service and skilled workers through Taskrabbit for assemblies, mounting or any tasks you need done.

App needs work. I love doing this type of work makes me feel like I am in charge of my time and what jobs I take and what jobs I can reject some people will tip but those that don’t those jobs aren’t worth it because wayfairIs it calculating the time it takes to assemble these things correctly nor are they calculating the manufactures default of the products Also they need to start paying for the time the assembler pro has to take to drive it’s too expensive and the miles between jobs adds up to be very expensive to the point where the pay out means nothing Wayfair needs to start paying their assemblers more and stop holding back the money they’re given by the customer and start taking into consideration the time it takes get from point a to point BOther than that it’s a great app to make some side money I recommend using it if you have nothing else to do but just know you will be paying gas out-of-pocket because that’s what Wayfare says they don’t have a system to help workers to do so

Sweet App!. I like it, the jobs have assembly instructions included for the piece needing assembled. I also like how much better the pro support service is over Angi which isn’t saying much but hey, it’s how it should be. I’d like it if so could pull up assembly instructions and owners manuals on all Wayfair products but that may be asking for a lot. So far though I like this app for techs

Incredible Customer Service!. I have used many gig apps and this app by far is the best geared for the provider! Customer service is actually helpful and the app works great, they are constantly improving.

Bad. Every time you go to claim a job, the application in a second says that someone has already claimed it and I was looking and the jobs are held by another application called Angi and this same app pays you 30% of what the service pro pays , that is not download this app it's a waste of time

Disappointing. The time Wayfair says they expect to assemble an item is underestimated, if it says 2 hours it will take 3 or 4 hours to assemble, they don’t count your driving time, 40 to 70 miles x 2 = 140 miles away and they expect that will come out of your pocket for a $27 or $36 job, they don’t pay for gas and mileage, The pay is not great for bringing your car, workers paying for the gas, the car insurance, your tires, your phone, they don’t pay for phone, there are no benefits, no health and no dental insurance. They charge the customer $100 or $200and offer you $45 to do the job. Abusive. The worst is to have to call to request the extra time and wait for a review that sometimes happens and sometimes doesn’t… Keep your own tracking save the job numbers and hours, I take pictures of the jobs, to prove its done.

So Easy to Make Decent $. Only a few jobs completed but have had the opportunity to make this a full time thing. Payments are reasonable, and you really are in control. Definitely recommended to colleagues already.

Don’t waist your time. Don’t waist your time. They sand many notifications for job availability you click on the notification at the second you receive it and it let you know it’s not available no more it don't make any sense no one he’s the time to look at the job even not to claim It. Did not hed the chance to claim even one job Support just do copy paste don’t even care about you! most prices don’t make sense to assemble bunk bed with stairs and desk $80 that will take you about 4 hours the average job is $20-40 for they claim 2 hour job unless it’s next door to your house I don’t see this happening I think all the good reviews here are made by them

Outstanding. I’m not sure how long ago I started doing this but I am approaching 60 jobs and i am very happy with wayfair. If you’re able to manage time well and you actually want the work you could definitely make a living with this app. I do it as a side job and it helps me get work for my own business. I do 1-3 a week now and leave my card behind once I’ve completed the job for wayfair. I have gained a handful of regulars and a lot of other jobs just by showing up and doing a good job and basically getting paid to promote my own business. I am professional and I am sure to clean up well and remove the trash even tho it is not necessary. Basically I am paid to promote my business 1 on 1 with potential customers. Wayfair is more than just work for me. it’s been a window of opportunity that has helped me grow and be more successful. Wayfair is an employer that chooses to promote a healthier lifestyle for their pros and I say this because of the 5 star pro service. This company is trash!. Wayfair are thieves and scam artist! Do not work for this company at all! I completed a job and all of a sudden my payment disappeared and instead of them using common sense and calling the customer to ask if the job was completed, Wayfair decided to steal my money and make the payment disappear like I didn’t do the job! Other contractors previously told me that Wayfair charges the customer triple of what they pay you which is a total scam! I wouldn’t even shop with them! Most of their products come out damaged! No lie!

Great Social Security, supplemental income. I’ve been doing this for about 18 months, I’m retired, this has been a great way for me to keep busy and make a little extra income as well. I don’t really work too hard. I only work about four days a week. I take maybe one or two jobs a day, I stay away from the complicated or heavy ones. And do not work Saturdays or Sundays. I only make an extra couple hundred dollars a week plus tips and I pick up extra handyman jobs along the way. I have met other service pros that actually make a living doing this, but they hustle and a couple that I met do about three or four jobs a day, and one that I am, that actually works with his wife as a team, and they seem to do OK, but they hustle, to me. This is been great way to get out of The house and keep a little busy. Much better than Uber.

Scam. Been waiting for a month since I’ve applied. Can’t download service app. Just acts like it already is and takes me to webpage. From the Apple store no less. All I’m trying to do is work and make money but nooooooooooo your ad on Craigslist is false since I can’t even get work or sign in ever. SMH

For felons with no experience.. I’ve been doing remodels and construction for 10+ years. I am a full time firefighter now and with my 2 days on/4 days off schedule, I figured I’d start with Wayfair pro to pick up installation gigs on my 4 days off. First of all, they charge the customer 2-3 times as much as they pay their “contractors” for the jobs. There were orders 35 min away that were paying $27 for 2 hr estimated job. And they specifically say, job estimates could be wrong and the “contractor” could be there longer, with no chance of more pay. With the background check and the almost childlike instructions for duties, this is meant for felons who can’t work for someone else. Which I get they need jobs too, but if you are anybody with experience, don’t even try with these idiots. Also, if customers read this please do not choose to use Wayfair’s “expert” assembly. There will be a felon who has no skills in your home, and he’s getting paid next to nothing for what Wayfair charged you. I will make it my purpose to tell as many people as possible about the scam that Wayfair has going on, including the 2.3 million followers I have on social media.

This app has its pros and cons. A few pros that I’ve noticed is that there are always new jobs popping up but they get taken very quickly and most of the jobs are pretty easy for the most part. Very simple as long as you know how to read instructions. A few cons that I’ve noticed that need to be rectified asap are; they payments where very late for example i done and completed the job last Thursday and it’s now Monday and it’s still saying my payment is still pending like I’ve called multiple times over the weekend and they kept telling me that I needed to “wait until the next business day then it would be released via direct deposit” into my account but I have been waiting and still nothing. Another con I’ve notice is that when I do try and call they have me on the waiting on the phone for about 20 minutes!!!!! That’s ridiculous Like I really had to wait 20 minutes just for them to say it would be released the next day when that wasn’t the case. like I’m very frustrated with the payment issues like I shouldn’t have to wait 4 days to receive a payment when I was told it would be in my account within a day or two!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok app. This app should have the option to set up alerts for dates and times that jobs are available. Other than that it is ok. It is straight forward.

App not working. I’m friends with other pros in my area and they are receiving jobs on their accounts but I’m not seeing them someone’s controlling my account so I only see 2 to 3 job notifications per day and of course I misses them because I can’t walk around all day looking at the phone screen it’s impossible is there any other way to obtain jobs

Most often the job is cancelled last minute with no compensation.. I’ve completed a couple of jobs for Wayfair using this app, but more often than not the job is rescheduled last minute with no compensation. The pay rates are the lowest in the industry and not worth this much effort and lost wages.

The Best app for the skillful. The best furniture assembly pro app by far with regards to consistency of jobs, pros are guaranteed work, some jobs are easy and some are quite difficult. I still don’t understand why the pay is cut by 25% whenever the amount of work and time is doubled, so the more hours you work the less money you earn, how demoralizing is that? I wish they will increase the pay a bit considering the current high cost of gas, and living in the US in general. as an incentive please stop the pay cut rates. Pro support is on point, shout outs to the pro support teams. Thank you

Feedback. 1) Using full address instead of using GPS coordinates would be better when opening up the map in the app. 2) It would be useful if it shows the Job IDs on “Pending schedule “ jobs on My Jobs page. 3) A feature where we want to work areas. List or Radius of the work area drawing map

Brilliant. I am about 500 Jobs in. I love working with Wayfair. Their customer service is immaculate. I love the way they are always so polite and eager to help. They always make me feel appreciated and for that I make sure to go above and beyond for the customers. I enjoy representing such a positive company. The work isn’t always easy but it’s so worth it!.

Notifications. Often times there is no sound alert for new jobs. I have to constantly monitor my iPhone for the alerts. All my other apps don’t have this issue.

Good Gig App. Easy to use, fair amount of work available depending on the time of year, pay is good on average (occasionally jobs are priced inaccurately so you have to be careful sometimes), great pro customer service. Would be nice to see your own reviews/ratings. Also wish more jobs were sent here rather than Handy- it’s your app, send all the jobs here!

Nope!. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, upgraded, downgraded, reset my phone, logged out, logged in, and I’m STILL having issues with this app. It won’t allow me to pass the photo screen where it says I need approval yet it shows me the exact pic I submitted on my profile screen??? So I can’t view any jobs available and no one I’ve talked to on the phone has any other ideas how to help me. This is literally the only app I’m having problems with at the time. I’m getting “sorry we’re experiencing technical issues“ notifications from this app when the app is open at random times. It’s gotta be some better way to fix this. I have the latest update on my iPhone (because the previous version in my phone was giving same issues) and the latest version of this app as well. Someone fix this !!!

Low pay and not instant cash out.. The pay is too low for what you’re doing, and then you have to wait a week to get paid. It takes 48 hours for them to release your money, and it’s business days, so weekends don’t count. Then to you then have to wait 1-3 days for your bank to clear so all in all almost a week.

Service pro. It’s a good app with consistent work in any area your located in i would refer this app to other pros as well the only thing is that the payments sometimes take to long to get into your account if I do a job today I expect to get paid between today and the next morning not a week later or so they need to find a way for faster payouts other then that the app is good.

Payments. They are very very uncoordinated. They will have you drive to jobs where the job has been rescheduled previously, customer not there, tell you to wait on site 20 minutes then after a day, the job on your board changes status. They gave me run around for payment for 16days! Never received it

Won’t accept any pictures. I have been trying to add a profile picture to my account for months. The app won’t take any pictures I take or Upload so I can’t complete the account to start working. To make matters worse there is no customer service line for pros to call. So I’m stuck

Wayfair pro services.. Just like everything Wayfair does, they applied the same quality to there service app. I recommend this for people looking for an extra income.

Assembler. Great app for some extra money some jobs only take a half hour depending on experience Great pay if you know what you are doing

Works great. Links to 3 different map apps, connects with clients for assembling jobs; text & telephone, provides assembly instructions, connects with Wayfair, tracks payments. Customer Service is great and fair also. App works as intended!

If you like to work hard. So you drive all over the place. Deal with some nice people and some mean ones. All the gas you put in wear and tare on your vehicle. For wayfair to take over half the assembly money they charge to have it done. I thought maybe doing it directly would pay more then doing it through handy pro. But same thing here. Not worth it. If you want to pay me $102 to do a entertainment floating tv stand. And way fair only takes $42 like they pay us. Then it would be worth it. Stay tune my app will be out soon for all skill trades. Take care of the workers. Like it should be. My ideas will blow all these apps away drops end of January

Hardly ever any jobs. I have been using the app for about a year now in the Baltimore market and I can only book about 1 - 3 jobs a month. I get notifications of new jobs but as soon as I click the notification the app says the job has already been booked, I literally click the link as soon as I get the notification sometimes and still the job is booked already 🤔. I don’t know if other people are using bots to book these jobs or if wayfair is sending out fake notifications just to get me to check the app but I have been disappointed in the lack of work available.

Over Promise, Under Delivered. Went through the hiring process they rejected my picture four times I’ve had the app download it for almost a week now and not one job has come through they made it seem like they had so much work and yet they have nothing

Good side hustle. I’m enjoying working for wayfair it’s a good way to keep me busy in the mornings before other jobs. You have to stay on top of the notifications since there seems to be a lot of competition in the city. I typically only grab jobs that are really close to me to save on vehicle wear and gas. Customers have mostly been really nice and appreciate the help and some even tip. If a job takes more time than expected which has only happened a couple times, a rep will compensate you for the extra time, I’ve always been able to get someone on the phone immediately and they seem nice and on your side. Of course I make more money on my own jobs but in my opinion this is a solid side hustle to fill holes in your schedule and stay busy. I also like that they reward you for efficiency, paying you the estimated amount even if you’re done early, and they pay in full for customer no-shows or really late reschedules. So far so good thanks wayfair.

Wayfair pro has a long way to go. I can’t see the calendar beyond this week. It is Saturday now and I can’t even see 2 days out. My first day using the app, I had over a dozen notifications pop up, but when I opened the app, there was only one job listing. I set my range and availability conservatively to get started. Meaning, short range and limited times. I run my own business already and am not prepared to be on the run all the time. The one job i have been able to view was 80 miles away. No one is making a 3 hour round trip for $31. Also, the FAQ button takes you to the app download for the Wayfair shopping app. I guess they think we can just shop since we can’t see job availability beyond the current week. I don’t know how new this is, but it needs a lot of work before it is going to be effective.

Site review. The site is weak as far as available jobs in such a large town goes and the prices are sub par for the work , time and fuel involved in going to any of these locations. So far we have made zero profit on any job we have gotten from this site . We are a highly experienced assembly service with 11 years of experience in this field and are very disappointed with this formats performance and pricing structure.

Total Joke , save your energy. Attempted to join platform for over 60 days. Upon finally being approved i was told to upload a clear photo to be able to book jobs , understandable ! , but after uploading 9 different photos with all the requirements they needed , i kept being declined and support was no help. Ill stick with Tasker platform or Ikeas platform , less headache and pays better.

Still haven’t been payed. I did a couple first jobs for wayfair and I tried as a side income but it’s been over a month and I still haven’t been payed I’ve been calling and emailing them to just keep being told to wait and wait and wait. Then they tell me to complete another job for them so they can attach the payments to it, why would I want to do that when I’ve yet to be payed for the first two jobs. I’m going to keep calling, emailing and filing a complaint with the state. Sure it’s not a lot of money but they didn’t have a problem getting their pay from the customers.

Not trustworthy. Wayfair is a not a trustworthy company. Myself and other Wayfair pros have been with Wayfair for two years and more. We have been making a consistent income of 3k-7k. Some pros have saw the consistency and left there jobs to be a Wayfair pro full time. Recently in the past few months we have saw a major drop in jobs. Pros can’t not even make $500. It’s not that there is any work available. Wayfair have decided to use there third party service provided Handy(Angi Services) more now. Handy is a company that offer you the same Wayfair jobs with a degraded pay. Example a bed $9 to commute to and assemble. Myself and other Pros have reached out to Wayfair for months now, and have not seen a change back. Definitely not trustworthy company. SOUTH FLORIDA AREA DOES NOT NEED HANDY!!!

Good luck with profile pic. Takes hours (up to 24) the learn an uploaded selfie for profile image does not meet the rules. What are the rules? I have no f’n clue. We’ll see how the 3rd try goes. It’s been 6hours. This time I prayed with a little more meaning behind it since I’m starving

Waste. So far this app/service isn’t worth it. Very few leads. If there are leads you get paid between 30-70$ per lead if you get it. Travel to jobs and time at job is not worth it. Literally be working in the negative every day.

Untrustworthy. Under paid, late payments & non communication. Work is scarce & unreliable. Overall experience not well. They over charge the customer & pay the assembler less….less than half of what they charge the customer.

Top 10. Very good app for work from home to make extra money

Payment. It’s taking them way too long to release my payment and that’s only for the first job and I have like four other jobs booked but if it’s going to take this long to get paid, I don’t think I’m going to do it!

No work.. Never any work. Can only view the week of jobs. I’ll get a notification of a job for next week but when I click on notification the work is gone.

Needs a little work. It’s really a great app, haven’t had any serious issues with it. My only issue I have, I wish it was better pay. Also, it’ll be a lot better if it was same day payouts.

Time zones off made me late be careful.. Also 2 man lift jobs, Tried it a week must say after gas, truly not worth it. Allot of the customers don’t have the item in place so moving items is a must. Hurt myself, I wouldn’t recommend unless your supper strong and handy. Worked 8 days took every job offered after gas I barley cleared 520$ Be careful im on the west coast the app had the leads not the same time as shown to me , some were 1-2 hours off verify what time the customer booked or your going to kill your tips, one customer told me she booked at 7am my app said 9am .

Wayfair Service Pro Review. Pretty good app and good for filling schedule if there’s holes but honestly the pay out for competing jobs isn’t nearly enough since you’re paying for your own gas out of pocket regardless of how far the job is.
