I track my days since surgery.. I lock the first day and set the end date to today. What I really like is tracking as many events as I like. They can each have their title. I just launch the app, and my results i want are there in seconds.

Easy to use. Easy to use, and having options for days, weeks, and business days really comes in handy. Would give it 5 stars if you had an option to choose a regular calendar view vs. the tumbler style.

Director, Operations. I like this little program for checking dates but would much prefer to enter dates similar to the version on the web from a calendar rather then the tumblers, since it is difficult to know the day of the week.

Works well. I use it in more ways than I expected because it is such a quick and easy way to apply dates to time periods.

Works. While some people have pages and pages of app; one for everything, I have only a few... I’m not not crazy about using my smart phone over living a real life... however, this app is used all the time in my world; strategic project management and execution. While I am a “tactile guy”, my date wheel is always in my pocket with this app. Easily worth the investment in exchange for the value received.

Best date calculator!. This is a great app!

Pretty good app. I use this app daily for work. My job requires me to calculate specific time points based on a starting date (3, 6, 28 mos out). I like that I can save each time point separately. What I would like to see is a way to use the same start date without having to put it into each of my saved time points. I would also like to see +\- (+ 2wks or - 2 wks from start date) if that's possible. All in all I'm quite happy with this app.

Very useful. I use this app to calculate deadlines in my law practice. It’s very useful. I’ve used others that are not nearly as functional as this one. Highly recommended.

Solid, useable app. Not perfect .. yet.. When the e-mail came out saying that Date Wheel was available for my iPhone, I jumped on it immediately. I had been using it on my Palm T|X and loved it. It's not one of those apps you're going to use every day, but when you do it is really handy. With the purchase of my iPhone, I have been accumulating apps to replace the ones I used on the Palm, so getting Date Wheel was a no-brainer. There are a couple of minor differences between the way the app works on the Palm, and on the iPhone. Delightfully, though ... when I addressed this to Creative Algorithms, I not only got an immediate and personal note back from Justine, but she addressed my concern specifically, recognizing that there might be room for change. What a concept! A company with humility, interested in making their app better. With only a couple of minor changes dealing with saving a date calculation, I'd give this app 5 stars in a heartbeat. As it is, I almost feel guilty giving them 4 stars.

Very handy for planning. Very handy app for planning projects and figuring out deliverables. Simple enough to use. It would be nice if the week numbers were referenced in both the start and end date fields, or optionally turn them off / on.

Great Date Calculator. I use a date wheel numerous times a day. The Date Wheel app works great. It even accounts for 2016 Leap year. Using the Date Wheel App is very easy and you don't misplace it several times a day like you do a manual date wheel.

Great App. The ability to save calculations is very nice for keeping track of project deadlines and completion dates and to see at a glance how many weeks and days are left before the deadline. If it had time duration in "years" I would definitely give it 5 stars.

Date Wheel. I take a lot of medication, which run out on all different days. So if I have 90 day with I put in the date it was refilled and put 85 days, I can set a reminder to call in and request a refill. However it can be used in many different ways besides tracking medication.

Good app could be great. Ability to build or modify calendars for work/non work periods would be the bomb. It's better than a date wheel by far

Outstanding app. Very useful, well-designed app. Latest improvements look great. A little concerned about the one reviewer's observation that the month calculations aren't 100% accurate (more like 99.9% accurate) but the app does what I need--count days--perfectly. Ability to store and name calculations is awesome.

Great APP. When locking the Start Date, Duration, or the End Date, it should literally lock it so that you can't accidentally change the value. If you need to make a change, you could unlock it, make the change, and then lock it again. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to lock two of the values, and then let the wheel calculate the third value. With that, it would get 5 stars.

My go to time wheel. Everything you want a time wheel to do is here, you can save wheels as well. Been using it for 3 years , and it has Been on my Home page every day of that time. Super Solid and useful for program management analysis on timing.

Time management well spent. My company is a family business and I serve as the marketing manager for their 3 different businesses, this helps me tremendously, with shipping, budgets and planning. I'd like it to work with my calendar to show end date and start date events and options to skip major holidays and custom calendar entries. Perhaps smaller and larger increments of time, like hours and years. Not only is this useful for work but also other curiosities of time while off duty.

Jujupnut*rocks*out*loud!. I bought this app back when we had to download it on to a stone tablet with the Mayan calendar chiseled onto it! I contacted the company each time I upgraded equip, & they transferred the app from my original device (PalmOne PDA), to a Palm Treo 680, then a Treo 750, a Centro, an iPhone3, and an iPhone4...with NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! Every upgrade came along with each transfer. I adore this app, & look to Creative Algorithms FIRST for other apps since I know customer svc. Is OUTSTANDING.

Realtor. Excellent app for easily counting days for contacts. When writing real estate contracts I can select how many days till closing and get the date. In the old days it was get out the calander and start counting. Saves time and looks professional when I use it in front of my clients.

Great - simple, useful program.. I have been a fan of this program since the Palm days. I still use the palm application and this will make a nice addtion to my itouch. I use this daily for automotive planning and meeting discussion regarding program timing. They have web based versions for other mobile devices and your PC.

Great App - extremely useful. This is a nice app. Very helpful when I'm working out my development schedules. A project manager's must have app.

Not for iPad. The app it self is a huge help at work. When explaining to my clients their time window it is a life saver. My only issue with the app is that it cannot be viewed landscape. If you have an app for iPad, especially if I have to pay for it I should have the option of how it is viewed.

Great Date Wheel App!. It needs to be updated for iOS 11 and iPhone X, but it works great and is a good date wheel calculator!

Well designed. Nice clean interface. Good use of graphics. Lots of features laid out in an intuitive way. Best of this class of app I have seen so far. Well worth the price.

Great implementation. I have had DateWheel since the days when Palm Pilot was the PIM to own. It simply calculates time bewteen 2 dates but is really handy, and with the "bookmarks"... must have for project managers or anyone wanting to know just how many more days before the target.

Great date wheel app!. This app replaced my old plastic date wheel and is a great service to me as a project manager. It does everything I need it to do. It easily converts from days to weeks to business days. The flexibility to lock and unlock dates makes it easy to do quick "what if" scenarios.

Does one thing well. It is surprising how often I need to calculate dates. This app makes it simple. I've used since my Palm Treo days and have the Web version set as a Chrome app on my desktop. I was glad to see that the developer cam out with an iPhone version.

Extremely useful. Nice, simple and fast. I don't have to search for the plastic wheel of old, I just reach for my phone. Useful for planning due dates, deliveries, vacation, special occasions. Only wish that it worked in landscape, but not a deal breaker.

Date Wheel. Nice for what it does. The lock feature does not seem to work - I can easily change dates after locking. I would like to know my durations while on the calculations page- especially when I want count downs. It appears you have to look at each item separately. One could colorixe the durations to infer time (days/weeks/etc).

Simple as I need it. Nice Clean App. app sticks to the basic calcs and has a large display that is uncluttered and simple enough so a concentration-challenged person like me can use it during meetings. I rated 4 instead of 5 for two reasons 1. In the wheels the year is easy to change by mistake which I don’t find easy to notice. (This can have significant effects and go un-noticed when calculating out a certain number of weeks.) 2. It would be convenient if day of week were included in the date wheels (happily it is in the results). I know this sounds like more clutter but not having it there causes me extra steps.

Be careful. If you depend on an app that clearly shows accurate due dates, be careful with this app by ensuring you have the "include end date" properly set in settings. Many people don't include the beginning date, but do include the end date. (e.g. 3 days from July 3 is July 6, right? Not if you don't have the end date set correctly in this program.) This program automatically includes the beginning date and let's you set whether to include the end date. Turning end date on in the above example gives you July 5. The program should be a little clearer with the effect of this option.

Fun & Useful. Keep track of days, business days, weeks, months until an event or since a significant event. It's a flawless little gem. Update: still lovin' it after 5 years.

Love it!. When I quickly need to provide a date based on xxx days/weeks/months from some other date, this is my tool of choice. Couldn't live without it.

Great program. This program works well for what I do-ascertain the number of days between two dates to calculate benefits to be paid. Easy to use. It's worth five stars to me. One issue: for my calculations, it's a day short. Put in today's date, then one day, and the date will still be today's date. One day from today is tomorrow. But that is what the paper date wheels do as well. Just beware.

Retirement Date Calculation?. I primarily bought the app to calculate the dates for my garden harvest. Once I had the app, I tried a sample calculation for my retirement date... When the results were off I tried the web version. I input my November 2007 start date, 360 months, the results were both June of 2037. Just ball parking the disparity, I'm guessing the month value is hard coded at 30 days. REALLY?

Great app. Very useful, user friendly app for legal deadlines.

Helpful app. Good app for tracking dates and durations. You can save your calculations on certain items for future use and review which I like and find helpful.

Great tool for quick date calcs. Does a good job of quick date calcs. Have had a couple of cases where long term dates have been off a day or two compared to a traditional wheel. Still a very valuable tool.

Great Tool for Supply Management Professionals. I am Supply Management professional working on several R & D projects and strategic initiatives concurrently. I became frustrated with the hassle of determining project end dates beyond the 12-month horizon on my wall calendar. I was tired of clicking clicking clicking in Outlook, counting weeks and months into the future. I also lost my planning wheel (There MUST be a thief about the office!). So, when an engineer mused that there must be an iPhone app for that, I jumped on it and found Data Wheel. I am very pleased. It is intuitive, simple to use, yet flexible enough for multiple applications. I can determine a due date when the lead time period is known. If I know the drop dead date of a project, I can determine how many weeks or days remain. Finally, and most importantly, I can instantly see how many days I have left to work until my next scheduled vacation. Now, that's a useful application!

Nearly perfect. I found DateWheel easy to use when the time between dates is known and in the format of number of days. The one shortcoming of the product is that it does not present the time between dates in the format of years, months, weeks, and days. I had to use DateCalcPro to complete a retirement analysis for my wife when her employer presented additional retirement service in the format of years, months, and days. Aside from this shortcoming, DateWheel is a very useful app.

Fantastic. Great App let's you save multiple day counters, great if you work on Aircraft and need MEL date calculations

Very Useful. Does a simple job but does it well. My only gripe is that it calculates Mon - Fri as four days. This is correct but not always the answer you need. I add a day to the second date when it would be useful to have a tick-box to include both dates.

There is no Wheel!. Just bought this date wheel. It’s just input table, there is no wheel. I had an app on my old phone with the two wheels you could spin and it was excellent. Just wasted $5!!!

Great tool. I love this app! It's a great tool. Only feature I would add is an alarm you could set to warn you that your deadline is approaching or has reached a certain point.

Sales in mold making. Simple just the way it should be for checking delivery or start dates

No iOS Calendar integration. I asked them to include iOS calendar integration so I don't have to exit the app, go into the standard calendar app and re-enter the information. Instead of a practical upgrade I got lipstick on a pig.

L-O-V-E this app!!!!!!. This app comes in VERY handy, much more often than one would expect! Predicting when an “every 28 days” event is coming up is quite handy ;-) And, when one needs to know the number of days since a medication was last taken, voila! :-) Have a certain number of days owed off of work, in lieu of overtime, and your job is a 7-day-a-week job? Voila!

Needs better interface. I was hoping this app would be more like the real thing --- a wheel that you spin. This app has a rather boring and tedious data entry screen. I find myself using the "real thing" more often b/c I get the answer faster.

Project Manager. Finally an App to replace the old plastic wheel! And you can save and name the calculations to refer back to. Very handy in place of carrying around project timelines.

4stars+. Great tool. I use it almost once a week to determine days left in client contracts. Only reason its not 5 stars is they use the date wheel to much. I prefer to enter it directly.
