Waste of money. First, don’t believe the three day trial. I cancelled before the three days and learned they already charged my account. The app does nothing except classify it as a Spam call or text. I already know what is spam, so they are just pointing out the obvious. You have to click on it, copy it, and then go to the app to add it to the blocked caller list. I can do the same thing with the iPhone, so this does nothing except waste my time. I would not recommend this app.

Trying this for the first time.. I will evaluate for several weeks and then let you know. I have over 500 more junk messages just this week? Can you block this from conning in?

Everyday you get a annoying reminder.. Once a day, you will get a notification that your subscription is outdated. To update the subscription, you must pay. Stupid annoying and way over priced. Uninstalling for being annoying.

Lack of control of app. I don’t like this app I have unsubscribed from it, but by mistake I subscribed to it for a year. I can’t find how to remove spam words. You have words like apple on there. I have an Apple iPhone. Why is apple a spam word? I have decided to just delete the app and wanted you to know how unsatisfactory your app is. I feel I should get a refund. RJ McGee

$10 a month every month. If you’re going to make an app with reoccurring billing, say so in the description of the app. My unwanted calls are such I’d consider paying $10 a month, but not when the developer thinks I’m so thoughtless that I’ll download a “free” app with “in app purchases” and be okay with level of deceptive marketing.

Rating. Your notification used to come in at 7 am. Now with our daylight savings time your notification comes in too early. If there is something you can do to change it to 7, great. I don’t like the time changes either but have to go with it.

Spam Calls. I don’t like the idea of having to send numbers to be reported. I’m hoping that they’re being reported and BLOCKED, but I have no verification of phone calls to me are being blocked, as is done with Robocall. I,e.,how do I know it’s working???

Experience = POOR customer service. I have now sent 3 emails with my receipt of life time coverage and I still have no access. I keep getting an email response of “I’m sorry you missed me, I’m either away or working with another customer “!! This is an email!! I responded with: please fix my account access and sent a copy of my receipt. The response I received was: please email us back with a screenshot of your receipt!!! HELLO!!! I did that already … three times. I had account access for a couple weeks and then poof nothing and the app keeps asking if I want to purchase coverage yet I can log in??? I would have given zero stars but apparently that’s not an option.

Call blocker is cool. After using this app I looked up some numbers and found out they are a total spam . Get this app

Blocks unwanted calls. Works great I get more unwanted calls than from actual calls I want.

Takes your money. This app is a scam. It doesn’t give you a trial offer or anything you have to pay and then when you pay and you try to use it, it doesn’t work at all. It tells you to go to your phone settings and turn on call block, but it doesn’t even show up on the call block I tried numerous times to get it to work and it just does not work at all. Very frustrating and a waste of $29.

Disappointing. App doesn’t seem to cut down on spam as promised. Annoyingly, it shows “contacts” as “unknown” even though they are in my contact list. If you try to block a number you have to provide a specific reason. Sometimes I just don’t want to get calls from some numbers that aren’t necessarily spam just a personal nuisance, so I don’t want them identified as spam to everyone. List of identified spam numbers is very lengthy and not searchable. Just disappointing.

It is encouraging that AT&T has the customer best interest in mind in stopping the chaos and annoyance of unidentified calls on innocents victims especially senior the government need to delegate a system to protect American privacy. Great app. Telemarketers and spam callers were driving me absolutely crazy. They would call me 50+ times beginning at 8:00 am until noon and over 100 times by the time they shut down at 9:00 pm. I couldn’t turn my phone off, then nobody was getting through. They were so rude. They called me names and called me a liar. Between the calls and the callers, they made me cry sometimes. Then I signed up for this service. The next day it was so quiet. About noon it hit me that my phone hadn’t rang. It’s continued to be the best thing I have on my phone. Thank you, Mrs Lydena Wyatt

OMG, no more spam texts! 🌟🌟🌟. Okay, I gotta spill the tea. This app is the real deal! It filters out those annoying spam texts, and I feel like I've been set free! No more junk cluttering up my messages.

Problem with this app. It just won’t block the number that comes on my iPhone. Each time the same number keeps showing up on my iPhone. What’s up with that now?

Has a bug. I like the intended functionality, but it has a bug. When you try entering new spam words, it freezes.

Turn on the app spam stopped!. This just works. I was going nuts with 10 or more spam calls a day. They stopped with the app in place

Call Protect. I’ve had this since it first came out and I liked it. Now you customer service at AT&T tells me it isn’t an att app. I’ve been with att since 1999 and have always had the very best customer service until that call. I found out it would cost me $30 to use it now as opposed to $4.32 a month. I also found out I was supposed to be getting it free after I’d paid for it for several years. I won’t use it anymore.

Reverse lookup. It seems to have a database of scammers, making it super quick to look up information about their number. I love this feature!

Why have to pay for extra security. You only get half protection and then if you do not pay for a subscription it continues to say you are breached and data leaks and you should not have to pay to have this information private…

Spam Texts. I already have a great voicemail spam calls combo that does horrible with text messages. I downloaded this because it claimed to block spam texts and even had an option to add words to filter as spam text messages. However, I cannot add to the spam text filter because the add option is hidden below the keyboard. The return key doesn’t save the word either. Disappointing.

Constant error message. Whenever new numbers are trying to load, I get this error message: “failed to map data to Json” Every single time. So I have no idea if it’s working. Judging by the still high volume of spam calls every day (average of 50), I’d say it’s not working.

Call Protect. Too many steps. When I get a spam text there is already a report button option. I thought it was “Call Protect” but apparently not. I had four steps to take to block the number on that and after doing hundreds of them and seeing no improvement I checked “Call Protect” to see the list. There were no numbers on the block list. To use this app, you have to go into the the phone info to copy and then back to the app. The app holds the copy and blocks it but there are three extra steps. That’s too many. Whatever is coming with the phone to block calls and texts has too many steps already. I get 100’s of calls. If it were 1 here or there it wouldn’t be a big deal but it just isn’t doing the job.

Doesn’t work. Paid for the app to stop the slew of spam calls I was getting. All it does is give me the option to type in the numbers of spam calls after I get them in order to block them. I can do that already in the phone. Spammers change the number every time they call. At least it tells me it’s a spam call, but my phone told me that before.

Mara Sprott. I’m not real impressed with Call Protect. I can tell “bogus” calls, by the content, but also a bogus call won’t have an owner In Been Verified, occasionally a real name. These spam/scammers rotate the phone number, and have no idea of correct personal information. 2nd, what good is a”bogus protester” if I have to find the phone numbers in my call list and compile the numbers. Me finding numbers & doing what-a rolling phone number on every call? So far I’m not sure of what you do. So quit hacking into my phone to tell me I have”more scammers. Mara Sprott’s

very happy w/1?. I absolutely love that I don’t get those aggravating spam calls. thank you for this app which of course saves my sanity. now am I supposed to delete a list I’m getting a text from AT&T supposedly saying they’re gonna lock my phone I think it’s a scam is it?

Extension to enable app missing!. When you first launch the app to get started with it you are asked to go to settings>Phone>Call Blocking & Identifications and enable the extension, it isn’t there at all! Can’t be found! Only other choice is click on the link that takes you to the apps own settings which is no help at all! No way to use this app in other words!

Deceitful advertising, calls didn’t stop after activated.. They sell your phone number. I’ve received about ten calls so far since I subscribed. You don’t know the free trial is for only three days until after you subscribed and you must cancel in two days to keep from being charged the yearly amount. Ugh!!

Doesn’t stop most of my calls but does tell me they are spam,telemarketers. Wish this app would catch all spam and telemarketers. It at least shows me. Asking them to take you off the list doesn’t work, not answering the daily calls for The same telemarketers just with a different number doesn’t work. Not catching the calls coming from a different country under the guise of a local number does show about half the time. Just can’t catch all the illegal or annoying callers.

terrible app…i hate this app!!. I want to delete this app as it is blocking calls that are important to me. when I launch the app, it goes right to the give consent page. when I click on continue, it eventually says it couldn’t connect. how do I get this app off my phone & get it to stop blocking calls? i delete the app, but it still blocks my calls! i hate this app!!

I like it. Having family w two little kids and I dont like my child receive these phone call. Telemarketer and debt collector call were a nightmare, disturbing us all day long. I have signed up for the premium package to block those call and totally worth it. This app was a game changer. Thank you

Call Protect? Right!. Supposed to protect us from scammers? Turned out to be scammers yourselves! I double clicked on a 3-day free trial bug automatically got charged a 12month fee!

This app is completely bogus. This app does not function as promised. There is no support whatsoever. It’s full of error messages which when I have alerted them I get responded to by a bot with an automated message saying there’re busy. (Thru actually say that in their automated response and never come back to you!) and frankly I’m going to work on getting my money back. I’ve had more spam calls than ever and this app does not make a jot of difference and is iinoperable. Created by ASTRALER absolutely hopeless. Doesn’t do what it says and is a massive scam in and of itself! Rip off! Bogus! Scam!

Where was my 3 day trial ???. Downloaded this app and it advised a 3 day free trial I deleted the app within minutes and canceled my subscription same day and was still billed for the yearly subscription.. Apple won’t refund it ... guess I’ll be contacting my credit card company for a refund ...stay away !!!

Call Protect. Just a feel good app that actually does NOTHING to stop spam. Only gives you something to do by blocking spam to make you somehow feel better. To be fair it would take the government to actually get off their rear ends and go after the perpetrators.

Disappointed app. It used to be a free app now it’s asking you to update this update that pay for this it’s annoying. No one likes something that’s working completely fine and someone changes it just to make money.

Not very useful. I added a word to the block word list and I still get texts with that word as the the first word. It occasionally tells me spammers detected - it doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t block them or highlight them. What does it do?

1410. This application should be able to block the 1410 text messages that come through. This issue has been out long enough for Att to have given Att time to resolve
