I agree with this game being Racially Insensitive. I don’t care what anyone says, I understand about it being a straight and narrow storyline but this game mentions a FEW different times about blacks. Firing all blacks, “black gangster” etc. I was willing to ignore the first comment and charge it to the storyline but I agree with the person who mentioned it as “racially insensitive”. Now, on the positive side, this game is fun to play, it has great developments, graphics, and does have a good storyline. The only thing I wasn’t too big of a fan about was the comments made about blacks. I said what I said bc if they mentioned your race throughout the entire storyline as gangsters and in derogatory ways as such, you will feel a bit offended too.

Great story. I have the game on PC, but never finished it, so I decided to buy the mobile version so I could play it. It’s a great game! Additionally, ignore the “racially insensitive” reviews as this game is designed to make you face moral choices. If you are highly sensitive to and cannot appreciate social commentary, you may want to avoid this game.

Worked for me. I was a little scared to get it after seeing all the bad comments but it worked just fine for me. Fun game.

Fantastic game, but won't install. I purchased both This Is the Police and This Is the Police 2 and they were some of the greatest games I've ever played. I wanted to revisit the game on my phone, but once purchased it won't download. Yes, I have WiFi and the newest iOS version but it still won't download. TL;DR: Buy it on Steam, not the App Store (also I recommend the sequel more)

Really a great sim. Story sim game that lets you choose. I don’t typically stay on one game for too long but I play this quite often.

Racially insensitive. I can’t play this game due to frequent inappropriate handling of race and racial issues. I was told to “fire all black employees” from the police department. I was tipped off by a mobster that “some black gangster” was robbing him. Neither was appropriate. Look, this is a game about the police. This is a topic that in the USA carries a heavy history of racial tension. I’m not going to enjoy playing a police chief in racially insensitive game.

It has no sound. I really loved this game on ps4, but it has no sound, no music, no sound effects, I would like to get this fixed, so I can enjoy the game as its best

Difficult game . Fun for awhile. It’s a interesting game . Well thought out , good story , intriguing on multiple levels but it’s darn hard . It’s too challenging I think . You have to balance the near impossible . Changing rosters , meeting needs of your cops, city hall, prosecutors office, the mob, etc. it feels like no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try and balance so that no one is tooo unhappy, you still end up with no staff , little income , and bigger demands. I’m on a second play through and it’s going a little better , but my last play through was Brutal. Either the prosecutors office screws you over by taking all your paychecks and cutting your workforce in half , or city hall does. Then the serial killer comes around and you have 4 cops per shift and a couple detectives . Not enough to investigate the crimes . Game over. And not enough cops to stop crime . This play through I have done better , but only by placating the city hall’s ridiculous demands . And limiting how often I piss the mob off. O and you also can’t hardly do that and not have the labor Union lambosting you for firing employees for no good reason . Now blaming city hall for that during press conferences helps. I don’t see how I am going to have 500 Million bucks to beat the game , when I only have like 30000 right now . I’ll never beat the game . Also I don’t really enjoy the investigations very much . They are tedious the deeper you get in the game , if you even have the detectives left to investigate to begin with . It’s a grind guys, and the game has zero moral redeeming values. No heroes . Its dark , and hard.

Fun and addicting management. Way longer than I was anticipating with a mostly gripping story, that gets better as it goes along, and some interesting characters and awesome music! Gameplay is enjoyable but tedious at times, although it does occasionally throw a few neat wrinkles in. I do understand where people are coming from with their complaints about the game’s rather cold depiction of racism, but I do think they were most likely trying to reflect reality in the game. You can definitely ignore the mayors directives with no penalty at all if you do your job well. Now, I’m on to the sequel! Thanks for making such a quality game here devs!

Seriously?!. It would be one thing if you gave a choice in how to respond. But the moment the game told me I had to fire everyone all black employees I was out.

Randomly stumbled across this game.. Haven’t finished it yet (only on day 81), but already love it. Have had to restart a few times, whilst trying to figure it all out, but isn’t frustrating at all. Highly rate & would encourage people to give it a go 🙌🏼

Doesn’t work on new iPhones. The game seems to be OK. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to progress much because the gane isn’t optimised for iPhones with the notch and it covers the dialog and options so half the time you don’t know what the buttons say so your flying blind. Also, the text is so small it’s unreadable in places. Maybe it works better on an iPad, but if you have an iPhone don’t bother.

Great game but unreadable. I’m honestly loving this game but the reason why I only gave it 3 stars is due to the text size. It’s so tiny you literally have to bring your phone up to your face to read it. I’m on a iPhone X so you know. I’m sure the text is fine on iPad, maybe XS Max. But not X and under. It’s a shame really... Menu buttons are tiny too so you’d be often making mistakes when trying to tap a menu you actually want. I’ll just be getting this on PC instead.

Good Game But Bad Endings. There needs to be a good ending where Boyd isn’t screwed by everyone.

Simpley amazing. This game is just great the ending was a bit sad for boyd he didn’t deserve it but that’s freeburg this is a really good game and I love the option to keep going in sandbox

Excellent but runs hot. This game plays amazingly, and I’m enjoying it thoroughly, however it makes my iPad Pro run super hot, instantly. Like 5 seconds after launch the back of the iPad is hot to touch. I’m giving less stars than it’s worth until this issue is addressed.

Very well put together game. Graphics are amazing, story line is intriguing. Its a great game, but a little overpriced for what you're getting. It will give you hours of fun and is very addicting to listen to the stories. I would give it a 9/10 overall.
