Terms of agreement for pay now cancellation. As I’m booking the terms of cancelation states $100 if more than 24 hours and $50 inside 24 hours then when I open ther terms tab the amounts a re switch and what I expect and have paid before you might wanna change that issue I took screen shots for my own protection and can forward them so you can see the error if you’d like

Satisfied Customer. I have used Alamo for my last several car rentals. I like the fact that I can bypass the counter and the selection of vehicles to choose from is good. Vehicles have been clean and in good shape. I had always been a National customer, but their rates have steadily increased over time for the same rental car experience. Why pay more when Alamo offers the same products and services? I would highly recommend Alamo.

Easy to use, easy to save. Mobile app is simple to use and you save big using Alamo. I used to be exclusive Budget renter. Then I tried Alamo when budget had no availability. When I saw how much I saved…..I never went back. Alamo’s staff have been friendly and car clean, new and dependable

Alamo makes it easy. Easy to find the vehicle you want,, site is easy to navigate and price is right.

Service. Everybody at Alamo is always willing to help you when you return your car and I also like how you just go to your car and drive away I highly suggest Alamo it’s OK John Uga

Mexico, cancun. While on vacation in Cancun, I wanted to rent a car. I used the kiosk inside Riu Cancun resort. The car was supposed to arrive at the resort at 10am. I waited for TWO HOURS and the car didn’t show up. I called, I used the phone at the kiosk and no one knew what was up. finally decide to go on with my vacation and canceled my reservation. An email response that it was canceled was sent. Days later my card was charged and no one return my emails. DO NOT RENT CARS IN MEXICO!!!

I love this company. Had a bad experience with another company and considering the crazy prices that place charged. I was very have to find a more affordable option that has a streamlined service. Repeat customer. App makes it easy to cancel existing reservations in order to take advantage of specials. I canceled my existing reservations and got the last chance alert for Winter Special. Re-booked and saved a considerable amount. 👍👍👍

Friendly place. Always friendly, even when dealing with difficult customers. Plenty of cars available.

Easy APP. Love this APP extremely easy to use! Need to make changes on your reservation, no problem just a few simple clicks and bingo your done.

Exactly what I need. I also rent Alamo when I vacation and saw Alamo had an app when going to book my upcoming Family trip for Thanksgiving. The app is super simple and focused on helping me making a reservation at the location I want and the price I need. Also, love the added design touches in his app. Nice work, Alamo. I’ll be using this again!

Tahoe Wonderland!. Alamo rental at Reno Tahoe Airport never disappoints, from great prices, friendly staff and large SUV’s. Our February trip was made better knowing we can travel in the Sierras with our Chevy Tahoe with no worries!

Finally!. The Alamo website isn’t great in my opinion so this App is a great alternative. It’s easy to use and the interface is wonderful! This is probably the second best Car Rental App that is out on the App Store. 5 Stars!

“Call us. Something went wrong”. (With this app). Searched multiple dates (one month out) across multiple cities. I am over 25, and indicated as such, so that shouldn’t be an issue. No matter what, I got an error message with an option to call. I don’t want to call. That’s why I put the app on my iPad. For the record, I LOVE the customer service at my local Albuquerque Alamo branch, but the app is clearly defective.

Excellent. Nothing hidden on Alamo website, easy to access and excellent service person.

Very bad experience. I downloaded the app and tried to book a car today. The app system could not process and kept asking me to try later. I tried 3 times and gave up with the app system showing unsuccessful reservation. I quitted the app and reserved my car from another company. But then I received an email from Alamo saying my car reservation is confirmed. I called Alamo to explain and try to cancel the reservation, but Alamo insisted to charge me $50 cancellation fee. Very bad experience with Alamo!

Happy Alamo Member…. I have been an Alamo member for years and they are the most affordable and have the best rental customer service I have ever experienced. Thank you for being the best at your best. I highly recommend Alamo!

Worst Customer Service. I have had two horrible experiences using Alamo in the Montgomery, Alabama airport. The first time I had reserved and pre-paid for a SUV, and when I arrived 30 minutes late they had given the SUV to someone else. They did not attempt to contact me but simply gave the last one away, and told me well you were late. They made no apologies or attempted to find me another rental. The second experience was when I had reserved a SUV but when I arrived they had no cars available. The agent said I could wait until someone returned a car but had no idea when that would be. It was 8:30 am and they were hoping one would come in around lunch. The agent, manager and a customer service agent at their call center were rude and offered no help. NOT CONCERNED ABOUT PROVIDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Not able to find reservation. Have a reservation on file with my account. Downloaded the app to make it easier to check in. I can pull up my reservation on the website. The app says error doesn’t exist. Call for help. Don’t have time to call and wait on phone and not important enough to do so either. I can just use website. It’s a shame since apps are being used by most major companies today for ease of use and return customers. If t can’t pull up your reservation, what’s the point. Too bad.

Every login attempt fails right when I get there.. I was logged in for days leading up to a rental. Right when I get the facility, the app has force logged me out and now when I try to login it just says “The password reset link has expired.” I’m logging in, not resetting anything. Unacceptable for a bug this serious to make it to release.

Easy reservations!!. You have stolen me from Budget! I rent cars twice a month for a week and never have I had a better experience than with your company. Thank you!

It still has bug in selecting the time of the rental. Please fix it. Somehow the app does not allow to pick the time when selecting rent and return from different locations. But i could book the same reservation thru the website online no problem at all. After i booked it thru online, it showed my reservation on the app right away. so then i tried to book another reservation on different dates on the app again, the dates could not be selected again. Poor.

The only place we rent from!. My husband and I have been renting from Alamo for over 10 years. The customer service we are provided excels each and every place we travel. We won’t rent from anyone else!

Alamo’s app is so convenient. Not only can you reserve a car quickly, but the app allows selecting the pick-up and drop-off times in a manner that is so much better than the Alamo website. Also useful is the feature that grays out times when the pick-up location is closed, so you can better plan your arrival. Love this app!

So disappointed. I’ve used Alamo for years because them along with Avis where the only companies that did not require a deposit when using your credit card but the other day I go to Avis at the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport to Rent-A-Car and the lady tells me that now you have to pay $100 deposit wow so then I’m like OK I just need to take one day off because I did not know I had to pay a deposit so she then tells me well I can’t do that because now it seems like you don’t have the money to pay for the car so we can’t let you remake a reservation....... are yu serious I absolutely cannot believe this lady just said this to me after I just told her I did not know that a deposit was required so how in the world does that mean I can’t pay for the car she clearly needs not to work in customer service and she supposedly was the supervisor I was so ready to walk away from that counter and never returned to Almo that I failed to get her name but I will never ever rent another car from that company again Avis is my new home for my all my rental needs!

App updated today and NOT WORKING !!!. Still crashing all time the app !!! Please got an iPhone 15, update latest software, download the Alamo app and check !!! Alamo used to work with iOS 16… Not working till iOS 17 was launched. Please check and check and double check !!! And it’s not available to download worldwide, while this app must be to downloaded worldwide !!!

Bogus/ fraudulent charges. I was wrongly charged for a toll (plus a service charge) at a location that I never visited and was a thousand miles away from where I was at the time in question. Called Alamo only to be told I need to call a 3rd party, whose business hours have never been convenient to reach out. Further, I was given a vehicle with a strong smoke smell which I drove back to them and got exchanged within about 10 total miles of driving. For this, I was charged a roughly $20 fuel refill charge, instead of a credit for the inconvenience!! OUTRAGEOUS! Crooked business practices!

Reservation through phone app. I really like how it was quick and easy to the phone application to reserve my vehicle.❤️❤️❤️

Doesn’t work to look up reservations. I made a reservation on the Alamo website, and received a confirmation number in my email. This app can’t find the reservation and says error occurred. I called customer service and they said to just use the website. I also tried again 3 days later and app still doesn’t work. Then what’s the point of this app?

Awesome app!. I’ve never written an app review before but feel compelled this time. This is the best app I’ve ever used for reserving a service or shopping. You have date options and can skip items irrelevant to you. Fast and accurate. Great app!

Sends me to the website. What’s the use?. The whole point of using the app is to make things fast and easy. I wanted to check in for my rental. But the app does not allow me to check in within the app and instead sends me to browser web page to do it. The browser then requires me to input all of my information manually even though I logged into the app using my Alamo account which already has my info. After entering my info manually, I was able to check in using the browser and then went back to the app where I had to re-enter my reservation number. After finding my reservation on the app, it doesn’t save it under my reservations so I have to do it manually each time. Very poorly written app.

Keep doing the best. A great company whit a great news cars All the time!!! Only one issue don’t have cars available some times and this issue is so bad. After that everything is perfect end great prices.

White screen of death. I repeatedly get a ‘white screen of death’ and no explanation whenever I click Skip the Counter, after having provided all personal details (which was really the only reason I had to download the app at all). Some data entry is not as easy as I expected. 2 stars may be a little generous.

Super easy. The app the so easy to use . I never have any issues when checking in after using my app.

Best Bang for Buck. I’ve been using Alamo for quite a few years now due to them always having the best cost on great vehicles across the board. Additionally, I have always been exceptionally pleased with the service at Alamo.

Believe the negative reviews!. App is horrible! Logged in with credentials I've had for years, app immediately recognized me and put up my name. Then screen dimmed and stupid circle went round and round and round and and never got anywhere. Couldn't even log out so just closed the app and tried again. Same deal second time. You've got to be kidding! Closed app again and just to be sure restarted my iPad. Surprise, surprise, my entire desk top had been totally rearranged! Thanks guy! Spent 15 minutes putting everything back where it belongs and deleted the app. Been renting from Alamo for at least 20 years but will never fall for their app again! Lot easier to rent their cars through the Costco app. That one at least works!

Unusable app crashing.. I've been trying to use the Alamo car rental app to book a car, but it's been a frustrating experience. The app repeatedly logs me out with a "Session Timeout" message due to supposed inactivity, even though I'm actively using it. This error keeps popping up, making it impossible to complete a reservation. I've tried restarting the app and my phone, but nothing works. Until these bugs are fixed, I wouldn't recommend relying on this app for booking a rental.

Couldn’t be easier. The Alamo App is fast, clear, and easy. I just booked a full sized SUV that we have to pick up at 12:30 AM and return a week later at 5:00 AM due to flight times. I was done making the reservation in less than 5 minutes.

Needs Some Work Even After Update. What a mess!! Just send me to web site. If I am logged in why does the app need to redirect to the web site to reinput basic info like address and primary card number? These should be stored in my profile along with the ability to default to skip the counter. Then when I leave the rental garage I have to give the agent my card and license all over again.

No problems-no hassle. I always use Alamo for my rental car needs, never had a problem.

Finally!. We always end up renting with Alamo after comparing prices. And we have had very good experiences with Alamo, easy pick up and return. Many locations allow you to select a car you like. The only drawback was lack of a convenience app on the phone but finally, it’s here! We immediately installed and logged in, boom, my upcoming reservation pop up! So far so good, app seems to be working fine.

MSO rentals bug. I’ve tried updating app but Missoula airport MSO always shows not available regardless of date (even before I ever get to see a list of any cars). I have to book through the website because it woks.

Hawaii. Alamo has always provided top quality vehicles and service! Vehicles are clean. pick-up and drop off is so efficient! Alamo always!!!

Quick & easy. Like the app, very transparent, quick and easy to use no hidden fees at the end. It is my go to starting point for every trip.

Pittsburgh review. I made a reservation for a vehicle in PIT. At the time the only vehicle available was a pick up truck. Ok so I made the reservation. Well, here it is travel day and it says I have a reservation but I no longer have the pickup truck. So now I have to make a selection at an entirely different rate than my reservation. Further more I’m in Nashville enroute and now I’m not sure if I’ll have a car there or not.

Changes are easy. I like an app where I can actually make changes without a lot of hoopla or calling anyone …Alamo does a great job of that!!

Alamo has never let me down. I’ve been using Alamo without issue for a decade now. All over. FLA, Hawaii, NY, AZ, TX, MO, etc. everything promised had always been delivered. Recently I tried Hertz in a city where Hertz’s prices were significantly cheaper. Boy do I regret that. From the very pick up to a still going on mis-resolution! I just booked my next car with Alamo again and feel 100% confident they will deliver as promised on all levels.

Alamo. Just rented from them. I rent three times to four times a year and they are always excellent and service and prices. I rented from the Strasburg France location at the train station and those folks were terrific.

Error occurred. Hey, since I got the app I haven’t even been able to use it once. All I get is “error occurred” message and “due to inactivity, your session has expired before your reservation could be completed” message over and over. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, same thing. Please fix this. Thanks.

Wasted my time. Let me go through the whole check in process, just to tell me my profile isn’t eligible for check in. Why not state that before having me fill everything out.

I am surprised that no one is reporting this issue. The Alamo app does not work at all in iPhone. Everything is up to date and still it gives error. I wrote a message and still haven’t heard back. I am wondering how can a large enterprise like Alamo is unaware of its app not working.

Covid19. While I enjoy the no hassle of Alamo the cleaning of the cars — especially now during Covid19 — is less than acceptable. Dirty masks or trash from previous renters. Unacceptable!!!!!

Scammers in Madrid Airport. I “reserved” a Mercedes in Madrid airport. Had the reservation in hand. Showed up to the place to grab my car and they did not have it. They immediately began trying to cross sell me into a Kia or a Jerp for the same price claiming they were giving us an upgrade. These guys literally employee the same tactics as a used car dealer. They post incredible cars for great prices and then switch things on you once you arrive.. Hour and a half after Fabian and his chronie couldn’t do anything. Had to go to another place for another car.

Best ever. I really enjoy renting my car from Alamo. Their prices are great and they’re staff are friendly and welcoming.

Can’t change drivers without losing reservation!. Was told by customer support to cancel a reservation and then they could move it under my wife’s name so that’s what I did. Then they told me it would be $300 more for the exact same reservation!!!

Continue to receive “Network Error”. I can no longer use the app due to it having the following error message: Sorry we’re having network trouble” On my end, I’m fully connected to the internet via Wi-Fi. I don’t know if this is a iPhone iOS 15 issue or not. I suspect it is. Please fix the app.

Can’t review, because App crashes. Running on iPhone 6s 64 running latest iOS 12.2. App downloaded fine, but when I enter my credentials and hit Login, the App crashed. I tried deleting and downloading again. I shutdown all other Apps. I rebooted my phone. App runs on my iPad mini 4, which I believe has a slower A processor. So 1 star until I can run the App. Oh, I can run the App if I don’t log in. So as a Guest?

Don’t rent a car with this company. Worth experience ever. I returned my car at the airport and they gave me a clean receipt, six month after that they called me and said that I have to pay 2000 dollars because I had an accident. Now they are gonna send me to collection and after that I’m gonna put a sue. Stay way from this guys

Unable to sign in using app. I’m unable to sign in via the app using my valid credentials. I’ve uninstalled and deleted the app multiple times and it still doesn’t work. I’m able to login on my desktop computer using the same credentials and it works! Something is clearly wrong with the app! Fix the app - this is annoying!

Great service. I started using this company 2 years ago an it’s been great since! No issue , if I ever did they handled it then

Bugged app. Can’t login or reset password. After giving up trying and returning to Home Screen, pop ups appear constantly indicating an error, duh. Reinstalled the app again but only to get the same error loop.

Additional drivers. Massive fail, app keeps crashing when trying to add additional drivers in skip the queue. No way to report issue even through App Store hence poor review. Needs sorting.
