F1 Clash - Car Racing Manager Game Reviews

Matching. The game has massive potetial but is completely hobbled by the decision to monetize it using crate/gambling mechanics and the accompanying manipulative matchmaking algorithm. Basically, they, like many others, are exploiting the human phisiological responce to the gambling stimulus and neurological reward we get from random reward crates. This is not a mistake but a studied, calculated decision. This itself is not what makes this game fail but the added fact that the same effort to exploit the human responce to maximise revenue was placed in the matchmaking rules. The fact that the game is pay to win is obvious in the david and goliath level disparity seen in who you are pitted against. If a non decked out newbie who just started playing was mostly matched to other simmilar players it would seem legitimate but the inverse is true. This shows some serious lack of forethought in the producers driving the developers as they are focusing on a quick cash grab instead of a good solid game with more longevity using a more traditional revenue model than endorphin/dopamine driven microtransactions and gambling mechanics.

Almost a great game. First off, if nothing else, you absolutely MUST create a name system. I don't want to give away my full name and facebook profile picture to every single person I play, and this needs to be changed. This has got to be a privacy issue. There needs to be an emblem/picture system as well as a naming system in place so people can override their name and photo being used. Secondly, this game NEEDS statistics. You should be able to see a comprehensive view of race history as well as a full stat history somewhere in the main menu, it would not only be really helpful but cool and interesting to look at as well. Additionally, there really should be car presets available so I can save different specs on my car and try them out without having to remember each setup and manually switch each part every time. Lastly, I really think there needs to be another mode other than the clash and weekly events. Maybe it could be a full season, maybe it could be a full 10 person race, maybe it could be a tournament system, but the game still just feels bare right now. As an added bonus, I think there should be more player-player interaction - maybe some sort of clan system, friends, chats, all of the sort. Ultimately, this is a really fun game but it is missing key aspects of a great game that I continue to return to for a long while.

Updates keep getting worse. First of all the game is fun and frustrating and keeps you coming back. However the most recent update is by far the worst the game has ever had, with massive changes to the gameplay. They have completely overhauled breakdowns to the point where I have lost numerous races because of a breakdown on the last lap and out of the blue I breakdown in roughly 80% of races. The game is completely uneven to the point the game is almost unplayable. I’ve spent nearly $300 over the last few years and I have nothing to show for it. Opponent drivers easily pass me by three or four spots on race starts, rarely do I qualify in the top 15, and the grand prixs’ are a complete joke. There were moments where race strategy could level the uneven qualifying but that’s gone now with the overhaul of tires. If an opponent gains 3-5 positions on the start and you lose 1-4 (which is common!) the race is over albeit a breakdown or crash (which doesn’t happen). It’s literally an algorithm and if it likes you for the day your good otherwise it’s a day of losing. Can we rewind time?

A game requiring improvement, but it’s another masterpiece form Hutch. ...that being said, this is a real fun game. The graphics are anything but dull or terrible, the gameplay is awesome, and the details they put into the pit stops and racing circuits make this a phenomenal racing game to watch. In fact, you don’t even control the cars except for the pit stops and speeds. One-on-one is really difficult when it comes to winning, BUT, I have had the most luck in winning the races with one of my f1s using hard tires while my other f1 is using soft tyres. I always have both of them on medium speed. This makes it so there is no moment where both of my cars are in the pits- one is racing while the other one’s getting new tyres. I definitely see some improvement that’s being done currently to this game, and I think the selector for one-on-one races could be more focused on pairing you up with other races of your level/rank. This could be achieved through applying conditionals to the random selector. Also, I do see how the overtakes the cars execute are committed via random coding and timing, but I think that’s not a good implement for people who are desperate for a win in this game. ....so do I think this is a good game? Absolutely. Anything branded with the name “Hutch” is guaranteed to be good. I also think this is a game that still could use some improvements, but other than that I have nothing else to say. Get it.

Lacks consistency. Overall the game play and concept is all good. Graphics are good but it lacks consistency when it comes to performance. Lacks consistency on matching up players with similar skill. Most of the time in my experience I get matched up vs people with way higher grades than me so makes it almost impossible to win. Maybe the matching system needs to be tweaked. I lowered my rating to 1 star. It’s a joke how inconsistent it is. I wrote my review and then decided to give the game another chance but more of the same stupidity of matchup and in race issues. I am on boost and take a turn and get passed by 3 cars lol. Doesn’t seem like the drivers ratings do anything when it comes to racing. My highest “consistency” drivers seem to have the least consistent race, taking turns way wide or letting 3 people pass me because I slowed down and took the outside of a turn. Seems like the driver did that just to let 3 cars behind me pass. Also when a car breaks down why not have the car get affected and slow down so it forces people to go into pits. You can literally drive laps of a broken car with no effect. Last thing is this game really does want you to purchase packs and things and you can only be competitive if you do. If you don’t you will be stuck with lower parts and drivers as the upgrades on parts and cars are ridiculously high. So if you want to play this game competitively be ready to spend money.

Bugged Race System and Cup System. After playing eight races, and winning six of those seven, only five of those were counted as happening at all. Im not exactly sure why it decided to not count the flags i have won, or include those completed races in the statistics tab. I missed out on two wins and loss, as if they didn’t happen at all. Moving on to the cup system for the “season pass”, it goes hand-in-hand with the race system, where i am not getting cups for the games I play, except it goes a step forward. While playing i noticed that it said I was gaining cups, but my cup amount hadn’t changed at all. After a quick reset of the game the problem was solved, however this reset of the game did not work for my race stats/flags. I would love to see a fix for this and would immediately change my review, but for the time being, it is a fun and strategic game with a few bugs.

Fun at times. This game is actually really fun to play especially if your waiting around or in the car. It’s fun upgrading drives and parts of your car. I enjoy the progression system of the game. The games downfall (which is a large one) is the qualifying system. I personally think it should be taken out because they clearly haven’t fixed it yet. Your opponent can qualify high up on the grid and your drivers will qualify 23rd and 24th which is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention the your drivers and the other drive AI aren’t the best at overtaking which leaves you merely just losing the coins you used to enter the race. The game is a blast when you and your opponent qualify near each other because at the end of the day it’s all about race strategy. I personally don’t really care if the person had a better driver than I do because you can still beat better drivers with better strategies. Please fix the qualifying system. A solution can be only letting you or your opponent or you qualify a fixed amount of places ahead ranging from 1-6 places ahead. This would make the game way more fun and competitive. Right now you are essentially at mercy of qualifying.

By no means play this if you don’t have patience.. I played a whole lot the back in the 2019 season and the game seemed to make some sense then, especially strategy wise. The overtake tire wasting gas eater setting used to actually do something, no longer does it do anything it seems but waste your resources to finish the race. It seems your driver wildly yields for virtually no reason no matter what! Now there’s this really terrible awful feature they added. THE EIGHT SECOND PIT STOP, used to start you off around 5 second but now they gave you the whole go lose the race to every AI Maneuver. So you don’t get any points and usually the two players if they just started deal with fighting for 21-24 which does Jack all for points and any fun as well!If you’re a beginner good luck, cause it’s severely boring and there’s no real challenge until late late into the game. The game feels like a completely luck based game rather than a strategy game that makes you think.

More frustrating than fun. This game is fun to a point. Then you lose 5-10 in a row go broke (because you bet on every race) and can’t upgrade your car or driver because that is ridiculously expensive. You play on because all of a sudden you win and win and win. It’s a great feeling. But you still can’t upgrade cause you’re in races that doesn’t pay enough. So you risk it and go to the races that pay more. Then you lose and you’re back to where you started. Miles from upgrades. It’s a continual cycle of grinding. Matchmaking is another problem. You face two other cars in a field of 24. They could qualify in the top ten while both of your cars start on the last line. Qualifying is a simulation and there is nothing you can do. You will never catch them so you waste your time in a hopeless battle. When you start near each other it’s fun. But your drivers drive randomly. They only overtake in certain situations. Other times they crash into the back of the car ahead and lose all momentum. Note the could go on either side of the car ahead but choose to ram the car 8 out of 10 times. I wish you could race multiple teams twelve would be great. Enter into a race and depending on where you finish you are rewarded somehow. So you can still move up the ranks without having to beat just one persons team.

Gameplay is solid looks great and is fun but could be better. Very fun game to pass the time at work but there needs to be some kind of better matchmaking in place as you get put in a race with players that have unlocked superior drivers which is fine you should always lose some but when it happens 4 to 5 times in a row... somethings not right and this comes to my next point. With being the underdog in most races it kinda leans you towards micro transactions and becomes a pay to win type scenario which is kinda disappointing, just to test it I bought the starting kit or whatever it is for like two bucks and I went from losing constantly to winning easily, it almost felt easy, like I was overpowered because I unlocked the gold crate that came with the package I purchased, I think the micro transactions should not effect your gameplay, but maybe just graphic effects or something like that or unique paint jobs or even a better idea you could purchase the ability to create your own driver and choose his name and performance but in a balanced way say like you could choose to have really good defense and in doing so sacrifice something else like overtaking

Pit Stop Too Power. I throughly enjoy playing/grinding this game and while last year was fun and competitive, this year has become a bit more unbalanced, especially in the pit stops. It’s incredibly difficult to win when your pit stop time is 1-3s slower than your rival despite them having significantly worse stats in every other category (around a 10 or so difference in each). I’d rather see randomly generated pit stop times in a specific range as you move up series (ie 7-8s in series 1, 1.8-2.5 in series 7, etc) so the focus is more on drivers and your car’s stats. I do like the better balance among drivers this year so it’s not the same two drivers you end up running with by the time you are in series 12, but this pit stop time needs to be either weighted different on the car’s performance or given a strict time range so the focus is more on the actual driving and performance of your car/driver. I’d also like to see reliability come into play more where if your car “breaks down” its performance is hampered until you pit to force strategy changes instead of just pushing through as you can watch rival cars “breakdown” after they no longer need to pit.

Fun game mechanics but overall not fun. I like the idea. The betting model of games like 8 ball pool and Golf Clash is easily the best free-to-play model on the App Store. Certainly beat the mode of clash of clans and other base builder which are completely unplayable unless you pay money to drop the wait times. Sorry I don’t want to wait a whole week in order to play a game. It’s worse than pay to win its pay to play. Just make the game $5 on the App Store and get it over with. Anyways back to this game. It has the approach to free-to-play I like but lacks the gameplay to back it up. I enjoy the mechanics of the game the problem is it’s extremely luck based. Managing my team is fun but when I can’t even make it to the second tier of duels because my car breaks down it doesn’t feel good. In 8-ball pool or Golf Clash I lose because I didn’t play well enough. In this game it comes down to a bit of RNG. Again I’m fine with RNG in a game but when my ability to continue playing and advancing in the game depends on it that’s poor design. A better gameplay loop would solve the issue but I doubt that’s in the cards as the development team probably doesn’t want to rebuild their game from the ground up.

Don’t fix what isn’t broken. This was one of the first seasons in f1 clash I really completely enjoyed the game. Sure occasional matchmaking imbalances caused for some minor frustration, but the team finally did away with the horrendous coin system from years prior. Now; you could actually afford upgrades, and losing races wouldn’t put you in fear of bankruptcy. Yet of course the team got greedy for even more pay to win players, despite a significant portion already dishing out the 5 bucks for the pit pass, myself included. The new economy system makes upgrading your parts and drivers nearly impossible, several losses require you to drop down and struggle to earn enough to resume racing in your tier, and the game seemingly has returned to a gambling system of races, in which your stats don’t actually matter, and players with significantly less team power miraculously jump your far superior driver and car to win the race despite no pit disasters. It’s so disappointing to see the lack of attention to the player based complaints, and keep the poor system that destroys this games playability.

Please make it more realistic!. The game is mediocre, but it has a lot of potential. Just make it more realistic! ERS settings, more tyre compounds, better livery editors, realistic game physics, etc. I understand it is a phone game, and that the phone version of the F1 Video Game is nowhere’s near as realistic as the console and pc version. But to be honest, it would be great if it was. That applies to this game as well, the more realistic, the better. To start, I think there has to be a career mode. And when I say that I mean like an actual career mode where there aren’t duplicate drivers, and all the teams finish the race in realistic positions. This means that a Haas shouldn't be leading the race and a Mercedes is in 18th. Finally, just make a sandbox mode, or as it is called in the F1 game, Grand Prix. I want to be able to take over a real F1 team and their drivers and do a realistic gran prix weekend as a manager rather than driver. Anyway, that is pretty much the important things I want to see in this game. Thank you for reading.

Fun game but things need to be fixed. This is an awesome game with so much potential, it makes me sad that I really cannot use my favorite drivers because they are unlocked early on or their stats make them unusable when in reality they are at the top of their game and the top drivers in the sport. Even still the worst part of this game is how at the start of the race ur drivers are completely incapable of overtaking anyone, they may make a few passes in the first corner but usually just lose position or if u have a driver boost, but as soon as the first round of pit stops occur all of a sudden your driver decides to become a driving god and pass everything whenever he wants to....how is that possible. Lastly if a safety car comes out before the first round of pit stops the games mechanics make your drivers think it’s like the start of the race again and they will be unable to pass anything, even in overtake mode, until the next round of pit stops and it becomes impossible to make a good finish for your team. These issues should have been fixed a while ago and still ruins tournaments for me and makes me want to uninstall this game that should be so much fun, y’all need to fix this.

So Many Bugs, Won’t Match You With Anyone To Play Duels. The way to improve your car in this game is to play “duels” to earn parts and tokens (from the duels themselves and also from challenges those duels fulfill). However, for a week now, when I try to play a duel, it times out and says it can’t find anyone at my level. (Pro League, Silver II. Given that my rank on the leaderboard is 30,406, I feel like there should probably be SOMEONE at or near my level that I could duel…) Until they fix duel mode to allow you to actually play, I do NOT recommend downloading this game. You can also upgrade your car buy spending a ton of real-life money, which is maybe why there doesn’t seem to be much incentive for them to fix duel mode. There are other gameplay modes (Events: Fun, but cost a lot of “coins” and Career: Was fun, but now you qualify 10 seconds faster than everyone then get left in the dust in the actual race, making this mode unplayable) but, surprise, those modes cost a lot of in-game currency and, again, if you can’t play duels to earn that currency, your only other option is to pay real money. I should add, I have payed real money for some things in the game. I really loved playing it and so I didn’t take issue with spending some cash every once and awhile when I needed something or just got impatient. Anyway. There’s an entire subreddit that the developers would do well to read. There’s a ton of interest in this game and it’s really fun…when you can actually race.

Absolutely ridiculous matchmaking. Terrible algorithm for matchmaking. You get matched against unrealistically high level opponents who have better car components and drivers, faster pit time, and even if you have better stats, they still out qualify you. They can run on zero tires and easily pass you. They are also impossible for you to pass even if you’re on fresh soft tires and they have 0 wet tires. Don’t even get me started on constant breakdowns. The developers are useless and say they’re “aware of it and are talking about it with the team”. They really know how to bring out the feelings of rage and desperation in a person and try to lure you in to spending money by making you go on losing streaks that drain all of your resources. Absolutely despicable. I deleted this piece of trash game and will never spend another second of my time on it. They claim they “tailor matchmaking” to help players on losing streaks from leaving the game...yeah well...so much for that. I will do EVERYTHING I can possibly do to make sure people don’t play this game, let alone generate any ad revenue for them.

Fun but frustrating. This game has moments of being fun, BUT OMG its so unbalanced. The AI driving will make you insane! Ive watched my car in 3rd place leave pitlane and stop to let the entire field go by, then rejoin in last. Ive watched my drivers turn left in a right hand turn, drive through the grass and lose 6 places for no reason. OR just hit the brakes and come to a dead stop in the middle of turn. The AI needs lots of work…LOTS of work! Winning is arbitrary, because other than changing tires, you play no role in how your team performs. ALSO, it does NOT matter what driver you have or what upgrades you install, the game matches you with someone who has the same stuff…so whats the point. Also the cost of upgrades is on a vertical curve. $20k for level 1…$350k for level 2… and since we can be sure to always have 10 loses to 1 win, unless i spend real money, i cant upgrade. This game has great potential, but is far from ready. Teach the AI to drive. A driver doesnt make it to F1 with the skills of a weekend rental kart driver. Fix the match balance. Qualy is a joke. And make driver performance predictable, because otherwise its meaningless. (My driver will stay top 5 in one race then live in 24th for the next 5 races)

Fun game, but matchmaking system ruins it. This game is actually very fun and enjoyable (at times) to play. It’s like a mix between clash royale and formula one. This is a game I could see myself pouring hours of my time into, except I won’t because of one thing: the matchmaking. Good god, the matchmaking is horrible. I’ve lost about 80 to 90 percent of the races I enter because the other person qualifies super far up the grid and I get stuck down around 20th, and from there I really can’t do anything. It also doesn’t help that the driving mechanics themselves are completely rng dependent. Basically, it’s completely random whether you win or lose a race, and the majority of the time you will lose because the matchmaker puts you up against someone with a much better car and drivers every single time. This is a problem because it costs money to enter races, and you don’t get any money back unless you win. Therefore I find myself playing for a few minutes until I run out of coins after losing four races in a row, then waiting four hours for a free crate just so I can get enough money to enter another couple of races, then I repeat that loop over and over again. It’s a shame, really, because this game has great potential. I really wish I could play it more, but I just can’t because the matchmaking is so terribly designed. If the developers were to fix the matchmaking, me and a lot more people would play the game a whole lot more.

Mechanics are god awful. It’s a 50/50 toss up whether my drivers runs off track or he runs the correct line and makes a pass like in Suzuka if the driver in front goes high in the hairpin you’d want to drive low to try and pass but no my driver decided it’s a good idea to follow the driver and lose like three spots and also at Singapore the same thing happens in the hairpin there. Another complaint please fix the circuit Gilles-villeneuve and make it wider you can’t pass it is so narrow and I can’t find a good strategy like I never have good races there and always finish in the midfield. Also please fix qualifying my drivers maybe 2.5 secs faster per lap than the field in clean air but in qualifying the only qualifying in the top ten about 1% of the time. Because of this I’ve won only 15 times and I know I could’ve won a lot more. And also make like a season mode where we have the accurate full race schedule Bahrain-Abu dhabi and let us choose the race length. And maybe try and implement a q1 q2 q3 qualifying and let us have like sponsor deals to earn money and give us more livery options. I know this is a lot to ask but I think everyone would like this. Por favor y gracias.

You will get frustrated. Thinking this was anything like the 2020 version will be setting yourself up for hours of frustration and disappointment. Unless you want to shell out some serious money you have about a 25% chance of wining any race. Matchmaking is so weighed to those that pay I’ve been defeated multiple time even though drivers, car, etc. were better. Tires selection doesn’t matter nor do the gas power levels. Most races are decided right from the start since there is absolutely no passing. Once you start the position you are in is about where you will finish. Oh, also your 2020 team is also handicapped, good luck qualifying anywhere except 20th or worse. Absolute worse update of any app or game I’ve even experienced, developers just scream we want more money, pure greed. I have no issue spending a few dollars here and there but to be even remotely competitive you have to spend at least 100 dollars, Hutch just made everything more expensive and out of reach unless you drop some big cash. Yes you can have all the epic parts but good luck upgrading them.

Not sure where the 4-5 star reviews are coming from.... Latifi and Giovinazzi have better fuel and tyre management than Gasly and Kvyat. The game is all about packs and upgrading drivers that have incredibly unrealistic ratings. As manager, you have very very little control aside from when to pit. There’s no season more or even single race, you can only play against other people who seemingly always have a slightly better driver and slightly better car. My first 10-20 races was a blast, but once I started leveling up, the competition was impossible. No matter my strategy or my skill, I would always lose. Best way to put it, I felt like I was a Haas trying to race a Mclaren, and even if I finished with good positions, it wouldn’t matter. I’m always near the back of the grid and couldn’t beat opponents. I deleted the game after losing (yes I counted) 15 races in a row at really no fault of my own on most of them. My cars and drivers couldn’t compete to earn the coins necessary to upgrade. Waste of time, although the game had potential to be fantastic.

New coin update. Hey! This game has been extremely fun and pretty enticing to mess around on when I have free time or lulls throughout the day but today there’s a huge issue. I log on to go do a couple of races and play for a bit and I can’t do one race because the new entry fees are flat out ridiculous. Upgrades are impossible now too. You run the risk of gaining just enough coins through chests just to lose it and having to wait DAYS to regain enough coins to play one race. You now lose WAY too much for losing a duel and that takes the fun right out of the game. How’s it supposed to be a fun experience and retain players if they can’t even play most days because of one loss. Secondly I didn’t catch the increase in entry fee until it was way too late and lost the race, so I guess I’ll be back in a week to run 1 race

Pay to win game, only fun if you have the patience. Game is fun & has potential. The only way to really make any progress is spending real money. Drivers arent equal which is understandable, but the option to buy a better driver that is 10x better than whats offered at your level is insane. The only way to race is by using your coins, and unfortunately acquiring coins is only through winning, buying coins with real money, or daily random bonuses. Matchmaking is very inconsistent & will usually put you in a match with a really tough opponent with a guaranteed loss, or a really easy opponent with a guaranteed win BEFORE the match is even started. It's a pay to win game, with very few options to succeed. You can make progress without spending any money, but you'd have to have a really high patience level & really wait to make any progress. I've been playing this game for a couple weeks now with zero dollars spent and my progress is very very minimal. I play daily as well, but im just getting smoked by players who buy better drivers with their real life money.

Absolute fraud game. Update 2 : let me explain how these crooks have coded for u to spend money.. so u need to have total points to win the game. U could be number 1, but they will get the opponent as number 2 and 3, whereas no matter how much u try, u can’t be 4th. U ll see the car hitting and getting stuck or literally stopping and letting the other people pass with a breeze. How much ever u try, u can’t win unless the script helps u. So basically these guys coded a game with scripts to make people spend money. BEWARE, don’t even spend a dollar so that this game gets shut down eventually. Update : thanks for the response from the dev team, seems like they don’t understand either logic or math. When you have a person who is way powerful than u in both driver stats and cars, like 200 plus ( I have a pic proof of it ), which strategy would work? As I said again, your team lacks basic common sense. This game is coded by crooks and frauds.. the game decides who wins and in the last min everything changes and make u lose. This game must be removed through Apple Team. I have played so many games which induce u to buy or make u spend real money to win. This game is the worst of all, absolutely worst game ever

Mediocre time waster. I don’t hate the game, but it’s nothing particularly special. There is a very annoying bug regarding the ads, you can watch an ad and not receive the award, which doesn’t occur just occasionally, but every other ad. Additionally, you must have a Facebook account to save your data between devices or change your name. I don’t have Facebook, so this means I’m just “Guest####”; you also can’t claim the reward for linking your account to Facebook. It’s a minor issue, but a bit annoying. Lastly, and the most important, are the mechanics of the game and how your stats influence your performance just don’t make sense. Every match is just a pure crap shoot in terms of how you’ll qualify, how you’ll race, and how you’ll finish. You’ll blow out a person with better stats than you one match and you’ll get dominated by somebody with worse drivers and stats on the next. You feel like you’re progressing by leveling up drivers and parts, but every race just feels like you’re the same base driver/car you started with. The game was fun to play for a few weeks, but the same repetitiveness and lack of feeling like you’re progressing besides getting a few new tracks, just lost my interest.

The laps are always wrong. It always has the wrong lap. It will say 8/8 laps So you think your on your last lap!?.... wrong!!! You always still have one more lap it’s soooo dumb... and you’ll loose so many races because you never know when your actually ment to finish or are on your last lap 🤦‍♂️ if they fix this it’ll be a good game but it’s so so so frustrating at the moment. Especially when your smashing your opponent and then you have one more lap and you loose cause you needed a pit. But you didn’t plan it cause on the 7th lap it said 8/8laps and in fact it wasn’t your last lap. Dumb

Great game but needs tweeks. I love this game and still play it daily. With a few fixes and tweeks it could be even better. A couple of things that need fixed is the way the drivers interact with one another when racing, I feel like it terrible that you get thrown back like 2 negative magnets when you are close to another driver. Another thing is the weird inconsistency you get from time to time where no matter the level of driver you face, you always seem to have 2 level 1 drivers when they are actually ranked up series 12. Otherwise I enjoy playing this when I’m not getting skunked every race for no reason.

Great, but could be better!. I absolutely love this game! The strategy involved is amazing! However I have been having some issues we’re when I am in a race it glitches, and I could be about to overtake someone and it glitches and I go back behind them. It is really annoying so could you please fix. It happens very rarely but when it does it so annoying. I also think the grading between epic drivers and common drivers is way off. My level 4 M. Schumacher is like 30-40 points in front of V. Bottas. M. Schumacher is my second best driver and I think only Hamilton (who I dont’t have) and Verstappen (who I do have are better). Could you please make the level of top drivers more and maybe make them more rare. Because I have Verstappen and he gets beaten quite often by Schumacher. Also I think Verstappen in qualifying should surely be up in the top 10 not bottom 5 where he usually is. This would also be very nice.

An awesome game but a couple of questions. I love the game, it’s great, entertaining and you can use different strategies which is a really good aspect. I like you can check lap times and everything. Couple of things I have an issue with. I’ve been leading and then crash. I know real F1 cars crash, but there’s a fuel strategy in F1 too and you can’t refuel in the game so it’s not completely authentic and it’s understandable, but I think it’s unfair and unfortunate luck if you crash. How is it calculated/determined? I think you should scrap it. And the safety car too. It’s just a waste of time. Have you considered allowing a refuelling option? Secondly during some competition qualifying and race comps, if there’s a glitch, which has happened a few times, and it’s not the internet, but the race counts and you get no points. If it freezes, (which happens occasionally), why are you punished as it counts as a race but that can cost you the weekend if it’s the pointy end of the comp. I like the shortened laps for Q1 in comps too. A good initiative. As I said, the game is great and you have a wonderful product that I’ve got a few mates playing now too. But I’ve had my whinge.

wasted potential. Such a great idea and execution of game although there are so many major flaws that make this game a waste of time and anger. The game choose what place you start on the grid so there is a large chance that you will be at the back whilst others who pay money are at the front, if this happens it is hard maybe impossible to win. The in game currency cost to play is a major flaw, for a game with the clash Royale layout this is the part of the game that separates the two. This way of playing sends away players whereas clash Royale invites players to start games and get invested into the game. This could be such a great game but there are some tweaks that must be made if you want it to be successful. Micro transactions are only a short term income where as improving the game is a long term investment to increase your market share in a market where this game has the potential to do well and gain far far more consumers.

I love this game but a bit weird. I absolutely love this game very much it’s very exciting and fun but it’s a bit annoying when I’m taking a corner and then just crash into the back of a different driver instead of over taking him. Also it very annoying to try get good drivers. By the way you should be able to open multiple crates at a time but overall I love it keep up the good work!

The game as it stands now, is just a loot-box-based pay-to-win game, the only way for you to progress far enough and win races is to buy boxes and gamble for better drivers, buy enough of them to get upgrades and buy more coins to pay for upgrades. No strategy can make up for the team power deficits when you get unlucky and match up with a much more powerful player. And please sort out the driving mechanic, overtaking and driver radios thing. Do you know what a racing line is? Because what ever the drivers are doing in this game is not a racing line. And why would the drivers slowdown when they are literally right beside another driver on a straight? And back out of a corner when they already have the track advantage? This game has the worst overtaking mechanic, how and why can’t my driver with fresh softs overtake another one with almost dead hards, none of it makes sense! Please fix this game Hutch… it’s really just horrible at the moment

Great game but still a few flaws. This is really a good game for F1 lovers. However, I have been very frustrated with it lately. The system just closed down right in the middle of a race when I was leading 1 2. As a result, I was awarded 3 points only and my whole comp. goes down the drain. I’ve had this issue three times already in the last 3 days. Am even thinking of giving it all up as the frustration keeps building up.

Frustrating. Please fix the racing. I’m sick of losing a race because my epic VER and LEC would rather crash in to the rear ended of cars instead of overtaking, I’ve lost 5 races in a row because they would rear end a hard tire while on soft being boasted. Same with quilifying, get a good spot, then on the first corner, swing as wide as they can, crash into a car, almost stop completely, and lose about 5 places, race is done. Please let me know if you have any solutions in the future, I am very much looking for a response, cheers

Happy with this game but a few concerns?. I am really happy with this game. I have been enjoying my time but there are a few things that I need to talk about. First of all I have Ocon and Alonso. Alonso is epic and Ocon is rare. Yet Ocon is beating him in 90% of the races. I also think that what’s considered epic rare and common etc is way off. Sains is like the best driver you can get and he isn’t as good as verstappen or Leclerc. Other than that I am really happy with this game and are a fan.

Good game but…. Great game and brilliant idea, I played for a few hours straight as soon as I got it and can see myself playing for the foreseeable future however you cannot play unless connected to wifi. I am currently sitting under a reception Towner and have full 4g reception but I cannot do any races. As soon as it starts to matchmake it takes me back to the main screen saying there is a connection error. This is very disappointing problem for a modern mobile game in 2022. I went through the trouble shooting but nothing has fixed it. Please fix this problem soon

Untapped potential. For as much as I’ve enjoyed this game, I keep thinking about missed opportunities. Why haven’t they included the Dutch and Vietnam GPs? Not in the calendar you say? So is Paul Ricard, Melbourne, Monaco etc. this year. The depth of strategies that one can use to win is quite shallow. Most of the time someone with superior car stats will be beaten by someone with inferior, exacerbated by the latter going for a lowest pit time strategy. So are the developers trying to say it doesn’t really matter, all of that grinding for car stats? It would be nice to have more team visual options. Perhaps regularly change up the boosts. I think if you’re a Formula One fan downloading this game, you would be severely disappointed that it doesn’t come close to reflecting the racing. Perhaps you might adopt to this “bizarro world” if you grind it out.

Disappointed. I have enjoyed at the beginning collecting coins and upgrade the cars and drivers and winning with consistency. But I have found that at a certain promotion level I suddenly dropped back losing almost every race badly becoming quite frustrating. Didn’t matter the upgrades and changes but it wasn’t enough. So I have decided to delete it. It is obvious that to keep up with the opposition you need to spend real money frequently.... not good at all! I understand that developers want you to spend money but this can become quite addictive and before you know al lot of cash is wasted.

One of the best experiences so far. This game makes me feel like I am actually in F1 and I’m loving it regardless downloading it only minutes ago. I don’t know a lot about F1 generally but by the end of this week I’m sure I will. Overall it’s super fun, and it’s amazing how much control you can take over the race, I hope my experience (and doubt) dosent change in the future but I recommend anyone reading this to give it a go!

Amazing but could have a little tweaks. I love this game I play it 24/7 but the Australia track isn’t fully updated where the new drs zone is instead of it being a flat out ‘s’ it’s got those to corners the had in 2020 or something like that and also can you make it easier to obtain bucks in game without buying it and can you add Las Vegas please and one more thing can you make the point system the same as f1 and please add more old f1 drivers into the game thanks thrust me I love this game but these things will make it perfect please see this

Gone downhill fast. Have played this game for a few years now and have easily spent a few hundred as it was for the most part an enjoyable experience. However the latest seasons are an ongoing parity nightmare where you’re repeatedly put agains players with better cars and drivers as the matchmaking system is irrevocably broken. Whilst useless flashy popups that you can’t turn off in race are rolled out the fact that you’re essentially setup by the devs to lose is something that doesn’t change. Oh its ok though after every loss a popup offering to sell you powerups appears so there’s that…. They’ll pop up on the occasional review saying its totally random and who wins and loses is decided during the race.. Its not.. he or she who pays or exploits the putrid matchmaking more wins.

Stuck in an endless cycle of nothingness. Started playing this game two days ago. It seems pretty interesting but it’s heavily geared towards encouraging players to pay $$$ otherwise you risk spending the next two years trying to get to the top! Not a surprise, as the developers are in this for the money, not the passion. However, I was keen to purchase one of the special deals to test how far I could get in a few days to decide whether I commit to playing more, but the in-app purchases don’t work. This means that I can’t unlock crates early, so I can’t upgrade my car, and when I win races, I don’t receive a crate. I’m stuck waiting hours for one to open and then the problem repeats itself as soon as I win a race! The developers need to be a bit smarter to avoid this cycle of shame. Either do it for the passion and stop ripping people off, or set the game up so that new users don’t get fed up within a day or two!

More options to connect to. I absolutely love this game, don’t get me wrong. But one suggestion I have for this game is that more options to connect. What I mean by that is instead of connecting to Facebook to save your progress, could you make it so you can have more options to connect to like your google account or something like a hutch account. I ask for this because I know me and some friends don’t have Facebook and are not planning to get it, and we are worried about losing our progress. If this was added, I’d be more confident about not losing my progress and I’m sure many others would too. Thank you :)

Good game, a bit repetitive. I absolutely love this game and the strategy involved. One thing that could be improved is the diversity of track conditions to make sure that strategy changes between each race more - for example, at Singapore it’s almost always wet and a one stop strategy is the best. This means that when this comes up I’m quite bored as I don’t have to change my strategy very much at all. Different weather conditions / deg etc. would make it more interesting. Another potential addition could be allowing adjusting set up after knowing the track but before the race. This would add another strategy dimension. Additionally, I think prizes for the Grand Prix could be better. It’s currently not worth it to enter unless your are going to finish top 5-10 which is extremely unlikely. Overall love the game, just thought I’d provide some feedback about where I think it could be improved :)) Overall though I love the game !

Updates equal downgrades. Played this game for 3 seasons and it’s been pretty good. However, after grinding hard to get ahead a recent upgrade has sent things backwards in a hurry. If this was a company that had no experience you could maybe accept things and wait for a patch, but they are hungry at trying to pull cash from players and now the things you paid for have been neutralised in an upgrade. This can only leave you feeling that, given their extensive experience, the upgrade was an attempt to try n extort more money from players. It’s actually borderline illegal trading - this heightened by the fact that despite similar comments everywhere they remain silent (had they said something it would at least acknowledge there has been a mistake by them in programming) can only lead to the conclusion that they did this appalling upgrade on purpose. If not fixed asap it might be the end for me

Over it. Since Grand Prix events have been introduced I have enjoyed playing the game a lot more as it’s become a lot more challenging. BUT...connectivity issues have crept back in, the game becomes very ‘laggy’ maybe due to a lot of players being online when the event is running. I don’t mind a bit of lag but in a couple of races the game has cancelled my pit stops and controlled the speed of my drivers automatically which in fact has cost me making it through to the final round. I score 40+ points every race and only 20-30 points when the game screws me over by cancelling pit stops etc which completely ruins your score and pretty much rules you out of progressing further in the event. Since the game introduced massive rewards for high placing in the final round in events people are slipping further behind because of the games poor consistency. I don’t mind losing, but when it’s due to the games issues it’s extremely annoying.

Great Game and it’s fair.. Great balanced and fair game, I have been beaten by players with lower overall score than mine, but I have also beaten players with higher overall team score than mine. You Just need to pay attention to Everything ! And make the best choices at each race as well as with upgrades for cars, drivers etc. The only thing I have found is at the start of some races when using the red power boost you can fall behind and get passed by your opposing player who is not using the red power boost. Does happen always, but it does happen.

Good game but so flawed it’s ridiculous. The game in itself is brilliant. I’ve been playing it pretty well everyday for a few years. However the race matching system is broken. I constantly get matched to people who’s race team are 50 to 90 points above me. You can’t complete with that and I do buy the new pit pass which is a great system. Another flaw is the breakdown and no tyres left. I’ve had full tyres and my opponent has had a component fail and have 0% tyres left and I can’t pass them, to the point they pull away from me on a straight. Absolute infuriating and utter garbage. If you have no tyres and or a component fail you should become a barge and not continue to be a F1 car. As I said the game itself is great but the mechanics of the races and matching system are seriously broken.

Downgrade. In last years game, there was never a short supply of coins and you were able to race in the series you were up to. In this update, they have drastically reduced the amount of coins given in crates; this makes it way too difficult to upgrade drivers/ parts and once you lose a couple of races you’re back driving in series that are 2/3 below what you’re up to. To get back up to your series you need to consistently win in the lower tiers; when you do eventually get back up, you have one chance otherwise it’s another tedious amount of races which gets you essentially nothing (money rewards and crates are far below what’s needed). The cash currency has also become much more pay-to-win in this update; this however is fine as it is a free game and there needs to be a revenue stream. Essentially, they have heavily reduced the amount of coins in the game to get people to buy these in the store. They have given both currencies pay-to-win status rather than just cash and when you’re out of coins it’s either a day or two of driving for little/ no rewards or to just pay to get enough currency. Do not download this game until more coins have been added to crates and the game becomes much less pay-to-win. In its current state, you will enjoy yourself for days or even weeks; but there will come a time where you are out and it’s time to grind for a week or pay.

F1 Clash. I love this game but it’s very frustrating because when my opponent uses their full power, they can overtake me and other cars a lot quicker than I am? They can even overtake me when we are both using full power at the same time and their percentage seems to last a lot longer too as they can nearly go full power for 2 laps were as I am struggling to get 1 lap of full power??

Why try and fix something that was not not broken. Why change the racing aspects off the game. It is impossible to overtake even on boost what’s the point of strategies with fuel and tyres when they don’t matter. Even on soft tires with boost you cannot overtake any cars it’s so boring and the game has gone massively down hill what a joke. The changes to the races have ruined the game. On the plus side love the idea of more series and the amount of races if you can get that far with the poor aspects of the races. Had a bit of time away and come back to this, I’m absolutely well and truely disappointed with the changes the fun has gone out the game now. Time to delete this game and not bother anymore it’s just a way of saying you have to spend money to progress. (Don’t give me that same old rubbish that the top players have not spent money and progressing)

PAY TO WIN. Look… it’s a good game overall and I enjoy playing it. Well I used to enjoy. Now it’s pay to win and the matchmaking is awful. My team score would be a 630 and my opponents would be 710, like how is that fair, in the qualifying they got P1 and P2 while I’m stuck in P14 and P17 and they would just dominate. This has happened way too many times where I just quit the game because it’s not worth my time playing. And the pat to win reason is I was versing someone with like 50 levels below and it should’ve been a easy win but they had a series 8 Max Verstappen with another series 8 Lando Norris and again in the qualifying they both got P1 and P4. It’s ridiculous. Can you just fix the matchmaking and the pay to win. It would make the game actually playable with spend my whole bank account on it.

Great game, completely Ruined by greedy devs. Played this game for two years, putting up with the slow degradation of free to play players being able to compete in game fairly. But the latest update is the final straw breaking the back of thousands of free to play players! Introducing the pit pass has completely destroyed this game! A game that was centered around collecting assets, now actively encourages players to play less, and has introduced daily locks on the ability to collect assets. And the assets you can receive are absolutely useless and not worth your time! Don’t download this game unless you have endless money to pour into it, as it is completely pay to win. Hutch hates its own player base. Delete this game if you have it

Free play pointless and glitch city. First, if you want to play and be competitive don’t bother unless you’re willing to pay a lot of money. Second, this game is glitch central. Admins try and blame your connection or device but I’ve played on numerous devices and connections and it’s still rubbish. Third, the performance of drivers is ridiculous. So inconsistent and they do the stupidest things. It is clear the game decides beforehand which player is destined to win the race. Last, I raised my issues with Support and ever since my performance has been worse and worse. Coincidence? Me thinks not. This game used to be excellent but it’s far from it now. Still addictive though so be careful.

Great game but needs some changes. First of all a great game and congrats to the devs for making it, but when racing, it is impossible to reach top 3 due to the extremely low starting positions. I believe the highest I have ever started was 15th once. I think an easy way to fix this would to give the player a better chance at getting close to winning instead of them starting last and finishing second last. I know it will be a little more unrealistic but overall I believe it would be a significantly for the best. Thanks Jack

I have to give it one star because 0 star is not an option. More points to add when the game has issues support does not try to rectify the issue at all. No compensation for the flaws even with the proof. Sadly this game has too many issues that customer support does not “support” Let’s go in bullet points Note to add. Support do not want to respond. It’s really poor -the support is poor, period. -game is glitchy and is flawed -the game charged me double the bet amount -when support gets back to you some 3-4 days after the recommended 24 hour suggested time they just palm you off with a generic message -game will flake out and stall, it is said they will look into it, another fob off line -support do not honour any errors on their end so be aware -game is very limited in what you can do, development is not expanding -you can have the best stats and still qualify poorly -Tyre choice does not run congruent with the driver nor your specs -intel in the game is poor, ie as a manager you need specs and stats and it does not offer any. The only positive for this game is I can watch tv while playing it as it does not need too much attention (see above point on intel) Overall it’s a flawed game with no attempt by the dev team to fix it and it is getting worse. Save your time and money and go to another game like real racing 3 or something totally different. In finale if I could give it a zero star I would. I do not recommend it at all. Steer clear of this game.

Only just started playing. I have only just started playing however in the first half hr of the game I am really enjoying it I can see how a lot of people will complain about pay to play later on in the game however with the race pass this unlocks a ton of value for very low cost can’t wait to get further into the game

Lost!. Guys I love this game and have spent many hours building cash to purchase upgrades and progress. Whatever you did to your last update with the algorithms is too much to bear. I get you want people to spend money but you could be far more subtle about it! I went from consistently winning in series 5 and 6, touching on series 7. Now for the past week anytime I get back to series 4 I’m getting smashed! Often I have to drop back to series 2 now where I struggle to get out of! Seems you’ve changed the matching preferences, it’s not as though good strategy can beat a faster opponent, it’s to the point it’s not even worth racing because you’re nowhere near the speed required. It’s like you’ve deliberately stifled progress so the player has no choice to spend money to be competitive. Please consider the players who spend hours on this game and be reasonable with the matching, it’s a shame that I can’t play anymore because it has become rigged.

Good overall game. It’s a bit weird playing in portrait mode but once I got used to that it’s ok. Starting out I found myself overwhelmed by all the decisions to be made such as when to pit and how fast to drive the cars. One thing I noticed is the driver in the lead when set on a slower mode tries to get their team mate past them even when it causes them to slow down too much

Great game!. I’ve been playing this game for a few weeks and I’m loving it, but I’ve been having some problems with the quality of the drivers. Sometimes I can be battling the driver in front of me, and they make horrific contact and make my driver incapable of getting the move done and is very frustrating. Also sometimes the drivers can exceed track limits during qualifying and other times they can have terrible crashes and just drive it off like nothing happened. Other than that it’s a great game but would love to see these changes in game.

Good but annoying. I really enjoy this game I haven’t put money into I’ve just been grinding, but the most annoying thing is I have two driver who have high consistency and yet they finish 15+ and I have quite good components in my car. It’s so annoying how you qualify 12th and by the first corner you’ve gone back to 19 and your opponent goes from 13th to 7th you’ve lost the race right there, just these things that make me not want to play it anymore, sick or losing the race on the first corner because my guys just stay still but like I said the consistency doesn’t even matter.

Matchmaking Error!. For the past few weeks I have really been enjoying this game and have had no problems until much more recently I have not even been able to play the game. Every time I attempt to search for a duel I get a matchmaking error even though my internet connection is fine as I am able to run other online games with no issues. I have tried to re-install the game and had the same problem. The game is great but it is more than frustrating that it is not possible for me to play. I’m unsure if this is a common issue but it needs to be fixed.

SORT IT OUT DEVELOPERS...So so buggy, game drops out. UPDATE- I WIONT PLAY THIS GAME OR SPEND ANY MORE MONEY ON IT. What a joke...I have super high speed internet connection and sit right next to my wireless hub. So I don’t have a connection issue, my iPad is 75% empty so not a storage issue. Yet in this latest event I have attempted 6 races yet only 2 I have been able to finish due to th game just dropping out, no warning. This means I lose a qualifying race result and all th coins and flags that go with the race. FIX THIS ISSUE AND REIMBURSE IMMEDIATELY PLEASE. I can’t believe this game. It’s so much fun and one that yes you don’t mind dropping real coins to advance in or get some small perks to stay relevant or get ahead, BUT it is so unbelievably buggy....it always seems to drop out mid race. Even worse it’s when I’m usually winning a race. Every second race it does it, I have also cleaned my iPad so it’s not a storage issue. Surely this can’t be a coincidence. I have invested a lot of real money on this game and would like this to be sorted ASAP or I will be looking at refunds.I love the game so much...WHEN IT WORKS.. but when it doesn’t it frustrates beyond belief. Sort it out now please.

Pls fix these. In game when the track is wet the logical move is to switch to wet tyres, which I did. Switching to wets in hopes to catch up with the other cars who are on slicks still, but for some reason my rival still has pace on mediums in wet track. Only dropping droppings down one spot and getting it back. I was mortified with this, because why is he still having such high pace in wet the track with slicks on? Mind you I’m only P8 and P6. And my drivers are so far off even with wets on. It doesn’t make sense, and it infuriates me. Another problem is it’s hard to upgrade your stuff cause the cards you are using don’t come by often due to using a higher value card, but still, how the hell am I supposed to compete with ppl who are 100 team score higher than me, it’s not fair. Another problem is with the match making, sometimes it can be absurd with the team score difference.

Did not live up to my (mediocre) expectations. This game is dreadful. The idea is fantastic but the makers have made it extremely difficult for players to succeed without spending drastic amounts of money in game. I’ve spent small amounts here and there in the time I’ve played it, never made any difference to my success. The dashboard for car, driver, boost could be designed a lot better. Not to mention, I can’t even open the game now because it tells me it requires an update and needs to restart. It’s frustrating to know I’ve spent money on this game and I’ve now deleted it off my phone. F1 is an expensive sport, at least spend some money on the game. Pitiful.

Upgrades. Thoroughly enjoy the game play however the upgrading is completely bogus, I think as the user I should have more control on what I wanna use my upgrades on, no point upgrading on drivers that I don’t use and on car equipment that gives me no extra edge. Your new daily assets are bogus and money making scheme and once you get Raikkonen and Hamilton it’s almost impossible to get upgrades on them. Would also be nice to have event with multiple online races versing each other at once rather than one v one, maybe a season with divisions. So much more to be built on this game that could take it to whole new level.

Hit and miss. A just read the last review and agree with some of the points that were raised. What irks me is when I have asked the car to pit especially in live championship races and the car just ignores the request and goes for another lap then runs slow because tyres are worn out. I think there has definitely been upgraded to make people spend more money. The game is great I would like to see races longer than 8 laps so it’s feels more life like.

Below Good. If you’re an F1 fan and want to try, go for it. However the experience may not be worthwhile. This game is practically pushing its players to pay with money since you need time to open cases (Only able to hold 4 btw), you don’t gain anything at all when losing and the system itself is a bit dull. You’re early games will be a fun experience but when you hit the mid-section levels, you are basically pitted against players who not only outrank you but complete outperform you to a point you are pushed to wanting to pay things due to how many losses you take. If you really want a fun racing management experience, play motorsport manager instead.

Bluetooth Play. Great game and great concept I understand there is some Bugs in the game with matchmaking and not recieving rewards, coins and crates after winning which is frustrated. Would be great when the f1 championship is open and available. THE MATCH MAKIKG CONCEPT IS ALWAYS SOMEONE MUCH BETTER THAN ME. Super frustrating cos I always lose One thing I would love is Bluetooth play. Playing locally with mate over Bluetooth would be awesome. Cheers for all your hard work

Inconsistent player grading poor race controls. I downloaded this game as I really enjoyed the older F1 manager games however this by far is the most unenjoyable game. Firstly grading of race where you’re paired up against the most impossible to win clashes where they’re almost 100pts in level then you meaning higher upgrades, better leveled driver cards so you can use all the boost in the world but you’re still not match, why play a game that you know you’re there to lose? It sounds like a waste of time already. With poor stuttering graphics that your opponent can pass you during a stutter and they’re not to be see from there because they’re so far ahead of you that you might as well reset. I have deleted this game and I encourage others to have a go but don’t waste your time because the game is unfair and will want you to spend a lot of money to be competitive.

Pay-to-Win Garbage Damages Brand. The game is unapologetically a pay-to-win gambit designed to allow paying players to breeze past players aiming to grind through the game without paying money. Watch in despair as cashed up players employ parts and drivers simply not available to free players, especially in the lower categories. As F1 attempts to remove the influence of money in the actual championship, one could only wish similar cost saving changes were introduced to this game. A removal of time delayed loot boxes would be a great step forward. As it stands there are far better Motorsport management simulation games available.

It could be so much more.. Don’t get me wrong, it is fun, but you have to spend soooo much time earning money and unlocking crates for *ahem* random prizes that always seem to be common. Once you spend a season dicing for 2nd to last place, and have enough money to really upgrade your kit, the developers start a new season and all your rewards and money are lost. I think the game is a neat idea however it is obviously geared (pun intended) towards making you spend real money on it. It would be much more enticing if you could actually win a race or two without dedicating half your life to it.

Bring back more incentive to grind. I’ve played this game for a few years and on the whole loved it. But a big issue I’ve got is that the incentive to grind for as many points as possible outside of Grand Prix’s is gone and makes it less enjoyable. I loved the idea of grinding for crates to not only gain trophies but to then earn a lucky dip of drivers and parts i were trying to collect. The new pit system is nowhere near as enjoyable and there’s little to no incentive to grind for mediocre items which aren’t useful. I hope you can consider my feedback and possible implement a better incentive to grind for the upcoming season!

Could be better. The most recent version of the game does absolutely nothing to reward the frequent player who has saved and used coins/bucks/rewards. Which is a shame because the game itself had a lot going for it. The matching system is based on a flawed algorithm that is completely inconsistent with in-game progress and bizarrely, wouldn’t even reward those who spend money. Having pointed out the negatives, it is well presented and an enjoyable format, especially as you start out.

Stay Away. I started playing this game which seemed to be good. I made many purchases to assist with improving the car and driver performance. There were issues with the app where it would automatically shutdown which the developer acknowledged. The issue is with the game, when it drops out and you are racing for coins, you automatically lose and lose your coins. As I am racing for the most coins possible, I am losing 2 million coins when this occurs, which makes a massive difference in being able to upgrade. The developer would not reimburse me through the game for their mistakes. I will not be playing this game or making any purchases in the future. I would highly recommend to STAY AWAY from this game.

Update is a joke. I have never, ever seen an update this bad. The game has been locked for 8 hours so far. Game run by doofuses.

Matchmaking horrible.. Playing opponents 50 flags higher than my highest achievement. Awful

Recent Glitch. Since the last update, sometime when I put my driver the car gets stuck in the pit lane. Then shortly after it shows that my car has “crashed” and the safety car comes out. This has happened 3 times in the last 2-3 days

Pay to win game. Don’t loose your time downloading this app if you have no money to invest, even pay to win guys loose the GP’s because of a lot of bug, glitch, connection lost..

Poor game. Unbalanced match and random thing like better opponents unbeatable or or worst car are the best on track... Fiability means nothing for the game as you can have almost no fiability and not break but the one that have fiability break all the time. Worst game I ever play F1 should cry about this game.

Hutch is awesome. Seriously not. It’s comical really. They have deleted my negative review 4 times, probably to increase their game rating. Basically the same concerns as everyone has. Very poor and unfair matching, unrealistic scenarios (for instance when my opponent has hard tires and they seem to be more durable AND faster than soft) and it’s impossible to pass, including when lapping cars. I’ve lost a few races where my opponent can lap cars like nothing and I get trapped for a few laps I’m not sure the developers actually know anything about F1

Super Buggy. This game has promise but the fact is, you throw good after bad playing this. Upgrading both cars and drivers is poorly designed to the point that you cannot determine any advantage by changing or upgrading a driver or vehicle, so you throw "money" at it hoping to improve the car or the driver, but the fact is, it or he performs worse with no explanation. The upgrade over/under make no sense whatsoever and occasionally revert back to old ratings suddenly and without cause. The matches are a joke as well, for rarely am I matched with Anyone who is not several rungs above me, then any advantage I manage to eek out during a race is met with yet other bugs, such as my scheduled pit stop being reset once I get the unwanted message that my tires are going bad or my fuel is running out; thereby ensuring I will lose the race. In the end, this game needs at least 6 months of debugging and simply isn't worth your time or aggravation unless you enjoy throwing away your greatest commodity and enjoy drinking Pepto Bismol.

Impossible to pass. If you don’t out qualify your opponent, you have almost no chance of winning as its nearly impossible to pass in the new season.

Horrendous matchmaking.. Matches with far superior opponents. Can’t win when matched with people that have 500-700 more trophies than you. Constantly out qualified on a massive scale, impossible to win if your starting 10-15 spots behind opponents. Possibly pushes people toward cash purchase upgrades. Probably gonna uninstall as it seems to have gotten even worse lately.

Crap. Severely unbalanced matches. No lap times or interval. Ladder progression is stupid. Too many sandbaggers who drop down levels. Car and driver upgrades are useless. Can’t see replays or archives or stats of previous opponents to see why you won or lost. F1 should be embarrassed to have this junk associated with their name.

Pure Fraud. Garbage game built to watch adds, steal yoyr money for zero playability. Don’t waist your time its a disaster of a game !

Unbalanced matches. Updated 2020. The issues in 2019 continue in 2020. Routinely get badly out qualified. Similar to F1 being at the front of the grid is a huge advantage. So getting matches with opponents that qualify 6 spots up the grid is basically watching your team lose. Overtaking is tough. There are no “stats” as a manager. Now way to look back at your teams performance on any track, driver, set up etc. Basically it’s changing tires and watching weather. Would be nice to see how many spots you made up in a race, or lost. Execution is unbalanced, possibly aiming you toward cash purchase of upgrades.

Don’t waste your time. You might win a few races but most of the time there will always be somebody who’s used like $100 on the game and then there is no winning, so it’s just really boring and so pay to win

Match up against fair players. The way they match up against other opponent is ridiculous. Often matched up against players qualifying top 5 while my drivers are at the back of the grid. Fun at first but then youre force to spend money to advance in the game.

Opinion. I like the esthetic of the game. However, it’s so unfair when you have the exact same pilot as your opponent, and still lose by a large margin. Always matched up against an opponent who have a lot more trophies. I like the game, but It’s so much unbalanced.

Figure it out creators. How is the new season even more broken then the 2019 season. 6 races in with no win.

Unbalanced matches. The method of matching race is unbalanced and not fair. There should be a system where you play against someone of the same level. It’s very frustrating when you have to face players will almost double your race score. I have gotten to a point where I don’t face anyone with similar or lower scores anymore. I’m starting from the back of the grid behind the opponent every time. Once in a while it would be nice to start with the lead.

One race you will start 5 and 6th and the next race in the same country with same pilots and car you will start 21th and 24th. So it is good for couples days but don’t spend too much time on it or you will smash your phone on the wall

Not F1 Manager. I played the real F1 Manager game on PC 20 years ago. The game should be about managing a team, not using credit card to win. The old PC game is the best, nothing come close ever since.

Disapointed. Since the 2020 season even with upgraded drivers and the agressive driving mode the drivers don’t overpass any drivers like the 2019 season. In the 2019 season, it was important to have great use of tires but now it is just chance... there are some lags.... some drivers begin 10th and after the second turn they are 18th....

Very poor money system. May as well be playing Rock Paper Scissors. There is no system of just general play. Every match is betting based so unless you win most all of your games you make near nothing. Repetitive with no F2P advancement. Alluring graphics will get you through the start until you realize the same as me.

Good game but.... Game is fairly fun, but to succeed against anyone requires purchasing coins and lots of them. Tons of unfair matches and every little f I s reaction like a call or message and you forfeit the match.

Great game concept but poorly executed.. Game is a lot of fun. But every time you open up a new series you seem to hit a wall where u can’t beet anyone. Lose all your money and it seems that they want you to spend money. Would be much better if you get charged for the game for the beginning then even the playing field. Too bad as I know a lot of friends who just deleted the app after they’ve enjoyed playing it. I guess I’m next to delete the app. Very unfortunate to have a company like hutch priorities cash over playability.

This game has many problems. If you are a beginner or planning to get this game, prepare yourselves for a lot of stress and non fun gameplay because there are a lot of problems in this game. First of all, the matchmaking, the problem with the games matchmaking is that you get put up against superior opponents. An example would be if you were a 6/7, you get put with a 10/17 which is very unfair. Second the way money is earned. There are 2 reasons Money making is bad in this game, the poor income and the fact you get no money after losing a game which is worse considering that you have to pay 1000+ coins to even start a race. Daily crates give about 500 coins which is nothing when you try to upgrade your driver/car which cost 2000+ depending on what level and rarity it is. In races it’s all or nothing. You win you get some money but if you lose you get nothing NOT EVEN A SINGLE PENNY. One way the developers can make the money income better is to add some sort of sponsor system where you sign a sponsor and get some money every race. I know this review is getting a bit long but there is still more things I have to say about this game. The upgrading system is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Once I spent 10000 of my hard earn coins and it have the car not improve that much. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME(btw the same goes for the drivers). Another problem is the way the drivers in this game drive. Long story short, they drive like sh!t. They don’t know how to dive to the inside or make an overtake in general. Also the level of cash grabbing strategy's in the game are out of this world (in a bad way), because I ain’t gonna spend $140 on a single driver and a few boosts. That’s way too overpriced. Another thing is why do drivers start with different fuel loads which doesn’t make much sense. The tire degradation is a yes and no, sometimes questionable but it’s alright. Overall the game try’s to be good but it’s complete trash in its current state. Hope the developers see this and realize that THEY NEED TO FIX THIER GAME because this poor level of quality is something that shouldn’t be associated with F1.

This is a joke. This game makes you addicted (what’s ok) but it is so damn unrealistic and it’s only made for the companies profit - it’s not about you enjoying a game. Terrible. Absolutely unenjoyable to play with the 2020 updates. Match ups are ridiculously lopsided, so you always end up qualifying behind your opponent. And overtaking is nearly impossible, so there's no chance of ever improving your position. What's the point of having a speed boost with fuel limits if using them does absolutely nothing? I spent money on this game back when it was actually fun and challenging in a rewarding way. Now, it's just discouraging. Not a penny more from now on.

Fun game but unrewarding and unrealistic. This game was fun at first, but then after hours of playing this game I finally got some upgraded series six drivers and parts ONLY to get destroyed by every low level driver. You would think an upgraded albon and verstappen would qualify higher than 23 & 24 on a constant basis right? Absolutely wrong, after hours of playing and grinding to finally get these good drivers to only have them consistently place in the bottom 5 on the grid. Then when it comes to the race THEY CANT EVEN PASS ANYTHING!!! You’re telling me an upgraded max verstappen on soft tires at full speed can’t pass the Williams car on hard tires????? No matter how you play this game and get the driver or parts you’ve been grinding for and then upgrading them, you will still get smoked by your opponent who has a lance stroll and Pierre gasly, this game is ridiculously unrewarding and unrealistic.

Pay to win!. After a couple of years playing it’s completely obvious now. If you don’t drop tons of cash, you don’t win gp’s. When you have guys with 400 flags buying all their upgrades easily beating people with 10 times as many flags it’s just too obvious. 29 isn’t going to change anything. Just rearranged it a bit. There’s is zero reason why you can’t allow people to change their profile pics without REQUIRING Facebook. It’s no fun having a big ? as my profile pic. Cars choose to run smack into the back of a back instead of just passing the pack, being overtaken in pit lane, lower team scores dominating you because of bugs. If I wasn’t a huge f1 fan there’s zero chance I would play this drops hundreds or lose game. If you don’t love F1 and are looking for a fun and fair game just RUN this isn’t it.

90% luck. Game play mostly random. I wanted to like this game. I have it a good go and got to level 7. The idea is cool. But what the controls and options say they do and what you actually get are too far apart. They say use boosts to “greatly increase” your chances of winning. No correlation. Lesser drivers without any boost drive past my boosted driver on slower tires. And vice versa: sometimes I’ve beaten superior drivers who were boosted with my whitetire #2. The behaviors at some corners are stupid. The interactions with the AI cars are terrible. The three speeds control is inconsistent. I get racing is unpredictable. But this just feels like it’s mostly random while making it seem like you have some skill-based options available to you. Once you play a dozen races and learn the pit stop strategy and give your cars boost in the right corners, there’s not much else you can do besides watch random luck happen to you. Frustrating and in the end, boring

Super fun game but also super frustrating. I play this game a lot, and it’s inconsistent and weighted to the point of frustration. Qualifying rounds don’t seem to track at all with relevant driver skill points, and you end up getting matched with people who very clearly have far better upgrades than you do. You may win a few races in a row in a lower tier, then decide you’ve made enough to move up, but then you lose three in a row and suddenly you’re back in the lower tier making small change. It’s super hard to actually compete unless you spend money. But hey, fair enough, this company needs to make money off the game, and most do that through in-app purchases. Just know the odds are slated against you if you don’t pay to make more meaningful upgrades.

Good but flawed. Update 4/7: This is still super fun and addicting game but there are still some serious flaws that need to be addressed. Here are some things that I have run into that make this game almost unplayable at times. 1. Car will come to a stop when a car near it pits. It’s like the coding tells your car it is pitting as well. 2. If your car gets stuck in a pack of three or more, your car gets sent to the back. Also the pack basically comes to a complete stop meaning you fall way behind. This has caused me soooo many races. Sent this glitch to the developers and they just blew me off. 3. Hitting the pit button makes your car breakdown and now it has to be repaired. 4. Hitting the boost button causes the car to come to a stop or slow way down. Update with new patch: 1. Cars don’t pit when they are told to. My cars drive right past the pits despite having the pit instruction activated. 2. Pit puts on the wrong tire that you told it to put on. Told it to put softs and it put on hards. 3. Had rivals who were able to use their boost the whole time. Somehow people are modding. 4. My car goes of the track slightly and will slow down and come to a stop a little distance later. While my rivals are flying all off the track and nothing happens to them. Hopefully this new season will fix these issues

Good and bad. I’ve been playing this game for years now. I believe this will be my 4th season with F1 manager. I love the new livery they have added, love the idea or rarity with drivers. But I find that some things have regressed over time. Matchmaking still seems to be quite unfair. Knowing likely who will win before the race even begins. Sometimes racing people 100pts over or under my score. Which makes for easy wins or annoying losses. Making it hard to progress into higher levels because of the loss of money you take. Also with the new pay to win system they have recently added it seems that you really won’t get far and will tend to lose 3 out of 4 races just because they get better loot from drops with the race pass or whatever it’s called. In a lot of ways I miss how it used to be. With historic teams.

Nice game, horrible matchmaking. The game is slick, has good graphics and can be fun to play, but expect to grind for coins and upgrades unless you infuse a lot of cash in this game. It is possible to grind coins out, but you will be playing the same races over and over to get anywhere, boring! The matchmaking is expertly designed to work against you and keep you in trouble at all times, even if you do spend you will get stuck unless you spend even more and never stop spending large amounts. The prices for in app purchases for upgrades are slightly ridiculous also, because there is no way to tell what you will get from the “casino crates” and usually you end up with useless things or are not even close to being able to upgrade. The devs will try to tell you tactics matter, and they do, up to a point. Until the matchmaking system catches up to you -and it will- so you are matched constantly with opponents you can very rarely beat, no matter which tactics you use. If you are easily annoyed, or do not enjoy endless grinding, do not recommend. However if you can put up with that and being on the losing end of things, being cannon fodder to the highest spending players, then you might get some enjoyment out of this game.

Pay to win 0 star rating.. I literally got the game yesterday and it sucked. It doesn’t match you with people on your skill level. And even if it does then that person has probably bought every thing in the game and there is absolutely nothing you can do. I have yet to win a single race because I get matched with people who end up in first place every game. I don’t want to spend money on a crap game knowing that I’m going to end up deleting it because everyone else has already bought the game. It lags and freezes. It kicks you out of matches making you lose your money. It puts you against higher skilled opponents. It’s terrible. I DO NOT recommend this game to anyone. At least not until a lot of things change. I wouldn’t play this even if I got every item in the game for free. Because is no fun. Now I know someone probably put a lot of work into this game but come one really? You can do than than that guys. Like seriously. I wouldn’t even give this 1 star if I was able. I give it a 0-10

Avoid - Delete. This used to be a great game. Starting in 2022 they developer focused on the “freemium” side and since then the amount of bugs and issues increases daily. Don’t believe me? go join the discord they suggest and start being part of the community that the developer ignores, insults, and blames for their misgivings. Is F1 a great franchise. Yes. But in the current form the game is unplayable and frustrating because of the developers lack of focus and unwillingness to fix major issues. UPDATE: They changed the coin economy to bankrupt players. Raised Cost of Duels and then claim they sent out 5 free crates to “compensate. It’s a total lie. The crates they sent don’t cover the cost of 1 race. They want you to spend actual money. It’s not free. Don’t believe Hutch’s propaganda. Game is 100% a loot-box. Developer is a fraud. Can’t even push out a simple update without creating 2-3 new bugs DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Every update pushes this game to being more Pay2Win than before. AVOID and DELETE

Really bad. This game is infuriating. The overtake logic is completely broken. Constantly get stuck behind slower cars with worse tires and cannot pass. Boosts don’t help especially when you can’t pass anyone. Entering the pits times vary greatly and are completely unfair if you get stuck behind a slow car. The game also completely stops you from entering pits in a consistent manner. Causes seconds of delay for some while others get in without any issues. Cars constantly veer off of the ideal race line for no reason. When cars do miss the ideal race line cars behind follow the exact same path instead of taking advantage and being allowed to pass. Faster cars are always forced to follow behind slower cars for laps without making an attempt to overtake. The blocking system is a joke and would cause 50 wrecks a race if allowed. I could go on and on. Do not spend money on this game. It’s really not worth it.

Fix Event Bug. Great game for F1 fans. The only problem I have is with the event qualifying which has been bugged over the past couple of weeks. When I’m checking if I’ve qualified through either the first or second session, the leaderboard seems to show the standings of the CURRENT session in progress instead of how I performed in the last session. For example, if I play in the first qualifying session but don’t check the final results until session two is underway, then I find myself having zero points and failing to have qualified because I have not played in the second session yet. So it’s virtually impossible to qualify through session one or two and now I only try during the last session. I think it’s a relatively new bug so lease fix it. Otherwise very solid game

Really unfair. This game is frustrating. All my credits go down the drain due to the fact that a fully maxed Tsunoda/Schumacher/Mazepin can somehow outperform drivers with relatively higher skill levels - and for some reason these noob level drivers also can get all the way to the front somehow going full throttle while my drivers can’t pass anything doing the same thing. This game is a joke, like seriously. Things were a lot more fair the last version of this game, even with Tsu/Maze/Schumi being higher level - I could still at least put up a fight and sometimes win. Not to mention, being unable to influence Quali makes races even more frustrating. This version of the game makes my drivers defences look like literal broken glass, they can’t defend anything like they used to and they also can’t maintain and pass like they used to. This game just gets worse each time I come back.

So much Potential. I love the idea of this game and I love F1 of course and ive found that I spend a lot more money on here then originally planned and I’m fine with that but sometimesbut the driver mechanics are off! Sometimes no matter what, my driver can’t make a pass. Other times he’s like Lewis Hamilton in Gp2 carving thru the field it’s so frustrating also the driver stats are completely off an I feel like they should be a part of a regular update with the bug fixes. Please don’t drop the ball you have a great officially licensed game on your hands that could be around for a long time. Just listen to what the ppl who play this game everyday, even all day sometimes, say. Thank you all and I look forward to playing the new 2022 Season.

Fun game, potential is high, reality is low. I read a review that said this game is racing meet Clash Royale and I believe that. I think that is an accurate statement. But at least in Clash Royale, for the most part, everyone has a fair chance. In this game, it’s really really hard to break out of the lower level racing because once you get more series, the cars you face are over powered and you stand absolutely no chance. Especially when they qualify at 1/2 and you go 23/24, wasting your time and in-game currency. So needless to say, but matching is broken. I’d also like to see the cards being dished out in crates be a little more. Maybe 15 cards total dished our and it’s between like two parts or a driver and a part. This game should take from Clash Royale and their cars system and I think they might have something here with this game. But cards are too hard to get, even with the cards you want being common, and money is too hard to make. Useless spending time playing a race worth 60k when matchmaking is broken and you’re back to $0 in a matter of minutes. Waiting for free chests or relying on series 1 to farm race crates. This game has potential and it’s fun, but it could just be so much more. It’s a disappointment. A disappointment I will still try and play for the hope of it getting better, but a disappointment nonetheless.

If you don’t want to pay, don’t bother. The algorithm will purposely match you with much better players 80% of the time. Never winning simply because you did not purchase drivers or components is not fair. We watch literally dozens of video ads in the game to try and collect coins that will go wasted at every single race. I always drive better than my opponents, but can’t rival as tire and fuel management have really little to do with you winning or losing. It’s all on the drivers. And the top drivers cannot be wan, they need to be purchased. Even if you ended up winning a good driver, they come with lower specs than bad drivers and it will take you million of coins to upgrade them. Knowing that the races you can win with lower grade drivers get you max 16k coins, do the maths. You are simply playing to make those who pay win and enjoy the game.

BEWARE Game is still unplayable (9/27). Save your time and money - none of the problems have been fixed yet. Earlier today, Hutch forced an application update (presumably to fix the issue that many commenters have been having with not being able to match or freezing on the map screen and being forced to forfeit the race.) As of 7 PM Eastern on September 27th, the game is still fully broken and completely unplayable. In a game that is designed to force you to come back multiple times a day to race and unlock crates, this completely ruins the game dynamic. NOTE OF CAUTION - The game offers you a platinum crate for linking your Facebook account. Your full name and profile picture are shown to anyone you race and in public leader boards. This is not made clear beforehand and there is no way to reverse it. To the developers: Is Grand Prix still “coming soon” or has it been abandoned? When is it expected?

Something wrong?. Am I doing something wrong. I’ve been playing for a couple days now and I can’t seem to beat my rival let alone come close to having a shot at winning a race? I think the best I can do is get 18 or 19. If it’s because I haven’t spent any money, then this is the crappiest game out there. How long do I have to put up with losing before I have any chance? Looking at some of these other reviews, no one else is having any issues. It’s not the managing because I’ve tried every single way possible. Oh and I see the developers have been saying that matchmaking isn’t perfect and that some of the top players are ones that haven’t paid real currency. Well, that’s probably because they are sponsored in some way or they are cheating. That or they somehow have gotten the 0.1% of everything they needed to get the best stuff right away and get matched up against those much weaker than them.

Entertaining but not realistic to F1. The concept of the game and gameplay is enjoyable! Except the races are completely bogus. Let’s say your car is in last and you get lapped, the car that lapped you races and blocks you the entire way even though they have finished the race limiting you to move up even if you have extra fuel. 2nd, it’s seems too difficult to level up anyone. The money is easy enough to get as long as you don’t blow it all and lose because of a computer but the equipment and drivers you open up seems far and in between to help you. For instance, I have Lewis Hamilton and have not once EVER received anything to level him up in 2 years of playing, that’s insane. Another thing is the realism of the drivers is nuts. How on earth at level 1 is Roman Grossjean better then Lewis Hamilton with Tires and Fuel?

Great Interface, Awful AI. You’re supposedly racing against other players most of the time. However, the AI behind the great interface is basically your hardest challenging opponent. And this is very disappointing and frustrating. It is completely understandable that there are differences between player’s performances due to each one’s hours of game and the amount of money spent on the development of the cars. This can be seen in tournaments (GPs, in this case), just like every other game. But the most bizarre and unreal things happen to you and your cars if the game brain doesn’t want you to win. Period. It doesn’t matter if your strategy is great or if your online opponent went for a bad call on the tyres: your leading car will breakdown on the last corner (yes, the leading car is the only one to face mechanical failures), your tyres will be worn out during the final lap (in a faster pace than your opponent), the opponent’s soft compound will make a flying lap when it’s raining even if you’re on the wets... Additionally, if you make a complaint on the support section, where you can send a message regarding the weird facts and wait for a response, you will curiously start falling down the hill in terms of results. That’s happened to me. It’s just statistics. At the end, the interface is amazing but you have a hidden enemy who is not your online opponent and who takes the control out of your hands and there is nothing you can do about it. A real pity.

Has so much potential….. All just my opinion, so take it for what it is worth…The game has moments where it is such a great game and then it never fails to completely frustrate you soon after. How competition is determined needs to be worked out for sure - I have races against competitors with lower ratings than me, but I am never 70-80 points better, and I just lost a race against a team 70 points better than my score. That’s happened multiple times to me. Maybe it’s just trying to incentivize purchase (which I don’t do). It also needs some kind of practice session where you can drive the cars against the clock to figure things out about your car and drivers. Finally, I’d like to see them add intermediate tires and even think about a DRS function to make it as realistic as possible.

Matchmaking is awful. The game itself is really fun and plenty of upgrades and such to keep things interesting... The unbearable part is the matchmaking. Unfortunately, it’s basically whoever has put the most money in will be successful. I’ve put in enough time to get myself to the top of my rookie leaderboard, but my win percentage is definitely under .500. I’m sure people see my ranking and say “must be nice to win all the time” but it’s only because I’ve had so much time to play (and usually lose). I’ve just lasted long enough to get a win every few races too and it boosts my ranking. In essence, a high ranking does not mean that player is having success. I’m constantly being matched up with people who have higher flags, have more flags than I’ve ever had before, and their qualifying lap places their drivers 8-10 spots in front of mine, essentially guaranteeing my loss. Finally I’ll have a great qualifying lap, but it’s just a flipped scenario because my opponent is in the 23rd and 24th spot, and they have no chance of winning unless I make terrible pit decisions. Winning and losing seems far too dependent on assets, and the race outcome is usually determined before the wave of the starting flag. The matchmaking is an extremely flawed and unfortunate downfall to a game with so much potential.

Good game. Horrible matchmaking.. I enjoy the idea behind this game and it’s a lot of fun. However, i lose too many races to care to continue. I originally played a year ago and got tired of losing, so I spent some money. I did so because it’s a game that I could support and I’m entertained. I then lost 7 races after paying for upgrades. I deleted the game after spending money and going on a losing streak. I returned a year later curious if it improved. I was happy to see things were balancing out. It was a pretty even win/loss experience, until they gave me a few crates and said sorry about matchmaking. I didn’t think it was an issue, but thanks. After that apology, I can’t win a race no matter what I do. Again, I’m deleting the game. Maybe I’ll check in a year later and see if there have been improvements. But I refuse to pay for anything in this game ever again.

Terrible system at the end of the race. I’m sorry but this game has issues, First of all, Who designed the point system? Could you please rework it or kick them out of your company? In real FORMULA 1, your position is your points and how come at the end of a race if me and my rival get the same amount of points we should be tied, But the only reason why he won was because he signed up for facebook on this. I honestly think you guys give people who sign into facebook a higher chance and you guys are bias, Im constantly losing so many coins because of your terrible system that is crap, If this doesn't get fixed im genuinely going to unistall this game, Another problem is sometimes it will say i need to be online to play f1 when my internet strength is high and the servers are also bad, My recommendation is to stop updating the game and fix the list full of bugs you have and listen to the other people, The most real thing in this game is the pictures of the drivers

Great game ... if the multiplayer worked. I saw an ad for this and was interested so I downloaded the game. Was really liking it in the beginning. There’s great customization and the progression system seams pretty cool. My first races were great, down to the wire, very entertaining. What I like about this game is you have to have an actual strategy to win. Then I came back later to do a few races and lost 5 races in a row. Keep in mind I was in the first league and had one my first 3 races prior. I was more frustrated because the only reason I could see was the opponent had better drivers, and therefore better qualifying. It was disheartening because I planned on playing this game till I unlocked everything, it was a game with really fun mechanics, but now that I can’t even win a race I can’t even progress. I would only recommend this game if you are willing to watch a lot of ads and/or pay to get good drivers and upgrades.

Missing connection. Puts you in the strategy seat, and does a good job of making the race appropriately durational for a phone game. My biggest issue is with the app forfeiting races because you don’t tap the screen (when there is no prompt) during the loading and qualifying phases - the game claims that if your phone dims, then you disconnected from the internet (on both wifi or data). A similar issue happens when wifi loading may be slow due to far reach or other issues. Other games seems to have a simple fail safe which cancels, or simply don’t start the match if the connection isn’t strong enough. In the case of this app, you either loose your coins or surrender your race in the Grand Prix event, which severely limits you from reaching enough points to qualify.

Don’t waste your time and/or money.... Honestly, I am shocked that F1 agreed to partner with this group. As far as I am concerned they have egg on their face for not doing their due diligence. Nothing but continual problems with this game (too many to list) and canned and ineffectual customer service responses, “be patient we are working on it.” This has been going on for almost a year now and their current priority is making the game look pretty over functionality. I regret wasting the past 9-mos hoping that things would improve (they still can’t get the safety car to work properly, lol, what a joke). Lastly, and most importantly, any progress you have made throughout the season is worthless, as they reset everyone back to square one at seasons end. This means any money you spend is also gone for good. This has been my experience...unfortunately. Feel free to try it but don’t say I didn’t tell you so.

F1 poor manager. This game was very poorly made. The racing is il-logical as all get out. 2 cars with boost, one car turns boost off and rockets forward, while the car with boost still on starts slowing down. You barely have enough fuel for an entire race, even the professionals don’t go that low in their fuel tanks. The pit lane is just a que of cars. With this being a game there should be a bit of collision that’s going on. 4 cars will be sitting in pit lane, and then the racing cars will start coming in bobbing and weaving to get around and makes the whole thing start stuttering. Matchmaking has nothing to it, it’s just random. You will get opponents that will blow you out of the water. There’s nothing preventing pay to win players kicking the crap out of non payers. There is a pay to win. Devs don’t kid yourself. If you have a micro transaction that gives you components for your car, you are micro transaction pay to win. You can play without paying, you can win without paying. But if you start paying, your going to start beating everyone. Tires, holy crap tires. I have had to do 5 pit stops at times because the tires are just stupid. You MIGHT get a third lap on the softs, but you are absolutely hitting 0% and slowing down. Unless maybe you have Hamilton driving. Cuz we all know his tires are worn. All in all, probably gonna delete and wait for the next F1 game.

Update and New Season. You want to win, it will cost ya. With the latest update and new season, everything for 2020 gets reset. The game is fun, I like the strategy and building the team. The part that upsets me is that I’ve spent well over $300 and it's absurd that for another year I would need to spend much more. Since the new season, it’s been a horrible struggle to finish top 20 and by luck 17th. Last season I was consistent with both my drivers in the top 5 or 10. You will need to spend that kind of sum each year, so be prepared. Yes, you can still use the 2020 cars and drivers, but it’s only for 3 races. I’ve lost the interest in the game and not to mention every race your car will breaks down….....It feels worse than owning team Haas. Save yourself the money and just buy the new F1 game.

Garbage. A lot of games seem to be doing the same type of ad system. You watch a video then it pops up the App Store and you have to hit some then it takes you back to the ad and some ads take almost half a minute to take you back to the game. I’m okay watching an ad if it’s a video of an ad then your done. This takes way way too much time just for free gold. I just started the game played the tutorial race and said hey free gold I’ll get that before I start racing. After 2 ads I was done. You ask people to waste way way too much time to make you money to get barely any gold. Also before I started the game reading reviews about multiplayer and seeing the absolutely abysmal responses like “some people that don’t spend money do beat people that spent a lot of money” shows you don’t care about the people that play the game. I will spend my time playing a game developed by people that actually care about their players.

So close to being a great game. The overall concept of the game is amazing, the game is a mix of Clash Royal and F1. The flaws with this game are •Matchmaking - I’m consistent playing against people with a much higher level than I am no matter what upgrades I do. Now it’s not impossible to win against these people but it doesn’t change that I shouldn’t 9/10 have to beat someone with a much faster car and driver because of strategy alone Simplicity - Now this isn’t the worst thing if someone who’s new to racing decides to download this game and give it a try but cmon there should be more options of what to do with a driver, maintenance is also a weird concept and it’s necessary that it’s in the game but it shouldn’t add so much time to the pit stops. Making money - Since you are constantly playing against people who have a higher rating than you you’ll find yourself constantly loosing which drains your wallet. There needs to be a single player option or they need to add more money in crates which gets me to the next flaw Crates - The chance of you getting something or someone good in these things are slim to none without spending real money to get the higher crates. Overall this game is a pay to win game that’s so close to being great

Ton of potential. 1. It’s almost impossible to win any races because whatever formula or algorithm they use to pair you in the “duels” always seems to pair me with someone who’s cars are a lot better than mine. I understand everything isn’t going to be perfect but when my cars qualify 15-24th and theirs are consistently 1-4 I have no chance and there for will lose every time. 2. The price it costs to upgrade certain items is way too high…I get it, you don’t want to make the game that easy but when it’s costs 30+ million coins to upgrade from a level 1 to a level 2 that’s a little bit ridiculous when you can’t make that many coins that fast without spending $100’s of real dollars on the game. I’m sorry, I don’t care what game it is, I’m not spending a boat load of money on an actual video game let alone an iPhone game. This game has a lot of potential however I think there is a lot of work to be done.

Smoked. Right at the beginning of the game was fun. Close races probably the first 5 races. Winning or losing by a point or 2. Now I’m playing with a barely upgraded car cause I just started and the game is matchmaking me with people that are beating me 20-30points. I’m losing all the coins trying to win some races so I can get containers and parts upgrades but how do i win when there in 3rd and 4th place and my guys are dead last every race. How is this fun to play when I can’t do nothing to change the outcome. Update: Game needs huge fixes. Literally played this game after 2 weeks and I’m getting blown out of the game. 23rd and 24th place every match. I upgrade when I can but the game is putting me with people that are placing 10th and 11th place. Last race I did I was ahead of them and out of nowhere they get a speed boost and flew past me and 8 other cars. My guys can not keep up. How is this fair? What algorithm are you guys using thinking that was a fair match?

Great Concept Poor Execution. First I need to say I absolutely love the idea of this game. I really enjoy the car and driver management and not having to actually “drive” the car. Unlike others I didn’t mind the long wait time for crates because I was just excited to get my team to race. There’s really only one thing about this game that definitively plants it at a one star for me, and that is how absolutely Pay to Win this game is. Admittedly I was suckered in and spent $10 on this game, out of all the stupid things I’ve spent money on I BY FAR regret this the most and no I’m not hunting for a refund. I spent that money and I’m still getting spanked by almost literally everyone I’m paired up with. I know I’m going to lose a certain amount no matter what because of skill differences but it seems as tho you either have to pay a lot of money or wait about month for enough crates to open to upgrade everything enough to maybe win.

Frustrating game and greedy, lazy company. As many other people have pointed out, the matchmaking system for duels is horribly unbalanced. However, from my experience there are two other issues that I find frustrating / irritating. First of all, when entering a turn , especially the first turn of the race on any track, cars come to a near complete halt and quite often wait for others to pass before moving again. This happens for about half race distance any time there are 2 or more cars entering a turn anywhere near eachother. After the halfway point, it seems to usually work as intended. The second thing is the reward crate for beating an opponent in a duel. Why on earth does the game give you a level 2 crate half the time when you win a level 4 or 5 race? May be just me, but that makes no sense.

Fun for a while, but flawed. Game was really fun for the first few months. It seems the more flags you win, the wider the potential pool of match ups for races becomes. Someone with 1290 flags shouldn’t be matched with someone who has 1700. Mismatches happened more frequently the farther I progressed and it became really frustrating. The other major flaw is the reward system. I maxed out a couple of my drivers and parts of my car. Frequently get reward crates with items in them I’ve already maxed out. It’s a complete waste and super frustrating. Appears the only way to level up the other items and drivers is to spend money (and lots of it). Game has enormous potential to be one of the best racing manager games on the market. Need to fix the flaws so that players who want to level up by putting more time in than money can still be successful.

Terrible Matchmaking, Pay to win. I am consistently matched against players with higher ranked cars and drivers than myself, causing me to lose all my money (suspiciously motivating me to spend money on coins). Before the last few weeks my win rate was over 70%, and since then it’s been below 25%. Even when I get matched with someone a similar skill than me, they qualify higher and I have no chance of catching up, no matter how many boosts I use. Without enough coins to race in the higher divisions, I can no longer level things up, and I have to cross my fingers that I’ll win enough races to climb my way back up. This game would be great if the matchmaking was fixed and daily bonuses were higher. I’m tired of not having any progress in this game without spending money.

Keeps getting worse. With every update the devs miss the mark. Download it and play it if you want, but you’ll be thoroughly disappointed. You won’t get to play as your favorite drivers as their stats are garbage and it takes far too long to level them up. The racing physics are complete trash. Cars drive each other off the track, crash into one another, and even drive through other cars and solid objects in the game. I don’t even think the devs have ever seen a Formula 1 race. In fact I’d be surprised if they even know what their game is about. You’ll be constantly frustrated at how poorly your drivers and cars perform. If this game were on a console or on a PC I guarantee you’d through your controller through the wall. I hope these fools fix the game. But they won’t. They just exacerbate it. If you decide to play then please enjoy losing the race and your mind.

Potentially fun game but inconsistent. The matchmaking in this game is broken. Rarely do you get matched fairly. Race play is so inconsistent as well. You get beat by lesser competitors but have no chance against anyone better then you. Your drivers take turns randomly even though your driver and equipment is leveled up. Tire usage isn’t even the same race to race on the same track with similar weather. Pit times can make or break you even though it’s only a second difference. Starts can lose or win you a race as well and you have no control over how your driver starts. Qualifying makes no sense either. It says your driver’s “fastest possible lap” and then you get out qualified by a lesser opponent with inferior car stats. Its frustrating that no strategy seems to consistently work and results seem to be random.

Matchmaking. Absolutely love this game but I believe I may give it up. The matchmaking is very frustrating. I am constantly getting paired with players who’s cars qualify in the top 10 while my two will barely break into the top 20. Then no matter how good a strategy I have I can never overcome the distance they can put on me. For instance the one guy I just played against was so far ahead that he ran the last lap on completely worn tires and still managed to get 5th while his other driver made 10th. And my guys still struggled to catch him... I feel the matchmaking needs to look more into car capabilities than anything. I had a lucky streak for like 3 days where I was the guy winning. So I racked up some points but now I haven’t won in a week and I keep playing people with atleast 30 or 40 more points than me.

Fun BUT EXPECT TO LOSE. I have been playing this game since it first came out and it’s a lot of fun with many different tactics and strategies involved. But expect to lose. Since the first season, I have downloaded and deleted this game multiple times due to fact that if you don’t pay for certain things you will lose more than win. There is no fair playing field and after a while it is frustrating to be matched against others that have significantly better drivers and parts that are available to those who pay for Premium. A game should be fine and still be fair to play without paying. I will still be playing but there should be a way to matched with those that are not considered premium.

Meh. The game is good on its face but has many little issues that make it unplayable. Starts usually mean that you’ll go from p10 to p22 in one turn and then remain there the rest of the race no matter what tire or mode you drive on. Drivers will consistently take turns the worst possible way often driving on the grass, wether they are being pressured or not. Breakdowns seem to happy very frequently to my cars and not my opponent, in one instance I had one car breakdown twice and then get passed by a car with 0 tire in the last turn. <— But somehow it’s my strategy that was wrong... I find that your drivers will get pushed back by passing cars often leading to losing more position. Some tracks work better than others, for example not matter how I make a strategy on Mexico I always lose position. On the other hand I find Brazil is consistently producing positive results. So overall it’s fun to play in short bursts but is unplayable for long periods of time.

New update is terrible. I spent an entire year building my car and drivers. I even spent $100 or so. After the new update everything reset. Ok that’s fine because we earned rewards for ourselves from last season to help us get a jump start on the new season. One would think that $100 and a year grinding would get you a little bit more for the new season. I struggle to place better than 20th. Oh ok, we can use our 2020 stuff for 3 races a day. One would think since it’s so limited that you would notice a significant advantage with your 2020 team. Last season I was consistently placing near the top 10. After the update I can barely get my 2020 team to place any better than 20th. I have no desire to continue playing or spending any money. Not enough attention was paid to the benefit of grinding last season.

Fun but predictable. This game is fun if you’re into management games that aren’t super in depth, it’s simple in a good way. I haven’t made it too far into it but so far it’s good, it’s frustrating when you play online and you know who will win the race based on the players score, if it’s higher than yours then you’ll likely lose. Like I said I haven’t gotten far into it yet so maybe that’s not the case later and executing different strategies such as different tires or if your have boosts or upgrades and even timing when go pit stop, overall great game in my opinion. Give it a shot there’s not really any ads unless you chose to watch them, and if you don’t like it you can always delete it

Tyre Strat problems. I love this game I got it last year when I think it first was released and 0 regrets. They’re really great on fixing glitches like when the tyres wouldn’t be visible after pit stops and throughout my 2 years of experience I’ve seen 2 safety cars… but the biggest deal is that right now the three tend to say they’ll make it 3-5 or 3-4 whatever regarding the driver and his tyre management, but on certain tracks even going as slow as possible the tyres won’t last that long! It makes constructing a strategy very hard and I want to know why this is? Whether if it’s a faulty game mechanic or purposeful deceit for excitement or something, if it’s not purposeful please fix it and if it’s the other one… please fix it.

Used to like it. Becoming more money-driven. This is a real nice game and run for the most part, but recently is become increasingly clear that they truly want to ensure those who are willing to spend money will have more fun. Sometimes it's hard to understand that a car with better stats and better drivers end up losing to a worst combination, but I call it part of the game. What has been disappointing recently is that no matter how far you go in the previous season, you start the next one from scratch. And unless you're willing to spend money, it takes forever to get to a decent level and what's supposed to be fun, isn't. Lastly game is buggy. I've lost track of how many times it crashed mid race and I lost all money regardless of position. Already suggested Dev team to have a crash analyzer and at least restore coins if app crashes. Maybe not important enough. Am uninstalling it

Great game, new season features glitch. I’ve played this game on and off for a few years on multiple devices and haven’t had any problems with gameplay. Recently I’ve run into a bit of an annoying bug. Every time I open the game it replays the updated features sequence even though I’ve gone through the sequence already. This includes giving the starter crate. As much as I enjoy getting these extra resources it’s a bit obnoxious to see the same sequence telling me things it’s already told me about. UPDATE: I receive the same starter crate but I don’t actually receive the resources that come out of it. So I just see the “what’s new” sequence every time I open the app.

If you don’t pay, don’t expect to play.... This game used to be phenomenal! Truly, a great game...then it appears the developers got greedy. I ended the season with a ton of left over credits, okay...no problem. I went out and got Leclerc and Sainz...two fairly good drivers, I’d say. Yet, somehow, the continuously kept getting beaten by Tsunoda and Maze-spin...even though the cars were the exact same spec. Certainly, driver talent should actually play a role in their performance...but it doesn’t seem like this game takes that into account. Also, tire deg is so unrealistic. At the beginning of the race, my drivers on soft tires couldn’t overtake other drivers on the hard compound, and if they did somehow overtake them, they couldn’t pull away. This game has so much potential and it used to be so much fun, but now it’s just frustrating. To the developers, if you’re trying to get me to spend money, it’s not going to happen by my hating the gameplay. My recommendation to others is this: if you are willing to pay, it’s a great game and you should definitely download it. However, if you’re like me and don’t want to drop a ton of money to play, take your significant other and yourself to a nice dinner somewhere...you’ll enjoy it much more.

Lost money. As soon as I got this game I loved it. Not going to lie I spent a couple bucks to get the drivers I wanted and was very happy with the game play and played everyday. Now the problem. Once the new season started I basically lost the things I paid for because they reset the game and your drivers and parts and make you start from scratch. Yes I know technically I still have them but I can only use them three times then done. This is upsetting for me because I basically lost what I paid for. Do I get a refund for the stuff I purchased since I really can’t use them when I want now. For this reason I will no longer purchase anything on this game and have pretty much stopped playing. I would still recommend this game but I would highly recommend you don’t make any purchases to play it. Update ruined this game. And to top it off. The million coins I got for placing in the tourney I never received. It was reset to almost nothing with the update.

Fun but inconsistent. This started out as fun but now it’s just boring as your ability to win or lose appears to be beyond your control. I went from finishing top 10 in one tournament, UPGRADED a bunch of components, and then failed to make the final stages of the next two tournaments. Sometimes the cars will collide and aggressively drive for positions. Sometimes they’ll come to a complete standstill and let a bunch of cars through. You can have higher stats, a higher qualifying position, arm your drivers with boosts, and still watch them slowly move backwards through the field. Next race, one car blasts through the field while the other lingers at the rear. Both cars could finish in the top 10 one race and then not make it into the top 20 the next. You soon realise that beyond selecting when the cars enter the pit stop, you don’t have much influence over the outcome.

Great Game Ruined. This game was fantastic before the update. I generally don’t spend money on mobile games but I spent a bit on this game because it was fun and buying improved stuff made a difference. Since the update it’s impossible to make any progress. The matchmaking system is beyond broken, you routinely get matched with people who have vastly better cars and drivers and subsequently get destroyed. Equally frustrating is getting matched with someone who has almost identical cars and drivers and still getting wrecked. My cars break down almost every race which makes it impossible to ever win. The lack of consistency is maddening. I actually emailed support after I lost 10 races in a row and went from 2.5M coins to zero. They just pointed me to the page describing how qualifying works. I really loved this game but the new update makes it unplayable.
