The worst!!. Cannot verify identity. Installed, re installed, created new email addresses just for myGov. If this was a commercial operation it would have been broke by day 1. Unfortunately Australians have no other option than this horrific system. I wonder how many duplicate users and people that cannot access their own information there are. Would give minus 5 starts if I could.

Constantly says update required even when I’ve updated my version. No longer works as it says I don’t have the most updated app when I’ve uninstalled and re downloaded multiple times. Help line has no answer

Doesn’t work at all. Won’t let me sign up at all - always errors out after entering the email 2FA code

Really poor experience. 1. Had it all set up, ready to go after ten minutes. Decided to add another ID to strengthen verification. That ID didn't verify properly, so the whole app froze up and said: "Unable to verify". 2. Despite having created a profile already, I had to go through the whole process again! 3. Didn't save any files on device or cloud, so another ten minutes wasted setting it up.

Not working. How did this make it into production? Same issue as many other users. Documents do not verify, the app is blocked for half an hour and eventually ends up in a dead end - being asked to verify at least two documents but no links or options to do so.

Frustrating app. Same as everyone else said. Horrible, useless app

Tells me it needs an update. Then goes to App Store. Endless loop

Terrible and so time consuming. This app is the most poorly designed and frustrating app to use and it is required for some government purposes. For starters, there are issues with verifying your ID; for example, if a passport scan doesn’t work you have to delete the app, reinstall it and manually enter your passport details.

No button to proceed after entering password. There is no button to proceed to the next screen after entering password during account creation...

My IPhone lets me open App in App store only. I cannot download the app. No option in the Apple Store to download it. Useless without the app.

Creates a new account for existing user. Get a new iPhone. Try to login again. Can’t remember which email address you used, so you login as an existing user. If you use the wrong email address it doesn’t say this user does not exist, it CREATES A NEW USER for that email address and doesn’t tell you. Illogical. Poor process flow. Terrible app. Concept of validating with this type of app is outdated and redundant. Less secure and so many more logical and easier methods to securely access online systems. Why does the Australian government spend so much reinventing the wheel so we can be their application testers instead of using existing tried and proven methods which don’t require us to report their illogical and buggy apps they develop in house?

Complete waste of time. So it can’t verify my Australian passport or VIC licence! When it hits “unable to verify” the only way to try a different document is to delete the app and reinstall to try again!!! Insane!!!

The worst app in the world. Horrible app to use. Seriously bad customer service. Please remove this as an app

Dead end. Successfully got one ID scanned after 10 minute wait, then another 10 minutes for 2nd ID, then got a failure alert. Now the app tells me “ Your identity is not strong enough. Go back and verify any two documents.” My account details are up there. but there’s nowhere to verify ID, nothing to click on.

Terrible malfunctioning app. I’ve had over 10 different error messages. The app is bugging out and freezing at various stages. I have used the app before where I managed to get it working (with difficulty) but now it appears totally broken. I don’t know how this could be such a broken experience

Buggy. If you don’t complete the setup first go then your identity will be set to Basic and tell you that you need to verify 2 more documents. But there is literally no way to submit any documents via the app at that point.

Do you need an Aussie passport to get the “strong” account?. Seems like would have been good for Centrelink to call this out before I started this process

Doesn’t work.. Like our government this is a waste of time around and around and around and around. Still no access for overseas Aussie’s. This is exactly a good example of how the Australian government works. A JOKE!!!!

“Update app” error. Just comes up with an error saying “update app”. When I click the update button it takes me to the App Store but I already have the latest version of the app. Have tried deleting the app and reinstalling but no difference. Australian government please get this fixed so your citizens living overseas can file their taxes and not get fined. Please and thank you

Will not open. I never get past the welcome splash because the app crashes every time. This leaves me unable to use Services Australia at all.

Typical SNFU. The MyGovID account is in the US App Store, but not the MyGov app. Setup MyGovID but can’t link it to the MyGov app…because it’s not available. Argh! So short sighted.

Terrible User Experience. Trying to figure out how to import my birth certificate and none of the information I put in is accepted so I keep trying different approaches for my remaining attempts. No where did it say it would lock me from the app for 24 hours if the system couldn’t find my information. So not only is the system for importing data painful, you’re punished for trying to use the system. On top of this all the documentation for help doesn’t actually line up with what is on my birth certificate.

Careful. It’s the worst thing I’ve been through. Once you put your information, you cannot deactivate your account or do anything! Not so clear why they made this app. Even apps that are made for scams are more clear than this one! Don’t waste your time.

Cannot perform a simple task. The application does not receive the necessary code for desktop sign-in. The primary purpose of this app is to enable you to receive a verification code, and it is unable to fulfill this task.

Driver License. It is very difficult to use. When re-logging into the account or transferring to another mobile phone, when verifying the driver's license information again, it always prompts that it cannot be verified. cause it not to work properly.

Broken. I can’t login to ATO portal because the app isn’t “up to date” however when I open to update the app is up to date.

Truly incompetent. An app that doesn’t work A failure to the size you would only ever see in government

Joke of an app. Seriously can’t find the words to describe how terrible this is. The only purpose of it is to verify documents and yet I scan my passport and it can’t be found. Absolute joke. Goverment probably paid some crap developer millions for this garbage too. Taxpayer money at work folks.

Data validation doesn’t work. Just the worst app. The validation for ids doesn’t work across multiple sources. Keeps locking me out. Massive inconvenience given the recent need to use this to register as a director with threat of fines. Least they could do is make the gateway to this work

Most frustrating App I have experienced. The app just hangs while trying to verify the documents. Got the the support line and waited 21 minutes to speak to someone who validated all my documents over the phone but the App still hangs. Every time I have to reset and start again. Update after reading the developer response — thanks for sharing that it could take up to 15 minutes to verify a document. Two suggestions to consider please. First, communicate that in the App so people think that the App is locked up. Second, please let your customer support center know since when I called for help and waited a long time on hold before speaking to someone, I was told that it should take seconds to verify documents.

Top app thanks. Not naming names but ATO has done well with this one.

App doesn’t work. I have been trying constantly to use this app so I can access My Gov from overseas. Constant errors. (Error code NWK). Please fix the bugs.

New version not working. Without it, can’t access online services.

So bad. I set up the ID with a different email to my mygov but when I tried to login to myGov it says the ID has to have the same email as myGov. So then I read the instructions to change the ID which is to tap on the myGov personal identity, and then on email and update - but there is no button, it doesn't exist and now I cannot use find anyway to use this ID OMG

Terrible APP for ATO purpose. It is the worst app specifically designed to convey important personal information to gov departments, especially for oversea individuals. Only Australian phone number be able to drive it. Additionally, the methods it provides are impractical, I ‘ve submitted all information to prove the identity, such as drive license, Medicare and visa info, which already enough for meeting the standards verification, however it still requires to fill in the last information of Australian passport to verify my identity, which I don’t have. That means no way to complete the verification and not allowed to continue to log in my gov. It has a bug of this mandatory requirement which go against the reality. The whole process was despairing. What’s even more ridiculous is that , following the advice of customer service, I reset the ID originally registered email and attempted to register with a new ID using a different email, tried to link ATO , Centrelink and other information over to the new account to retrieve it, once entered the driver license info, the system was immediately locked, the reason given was that same personal details was registered with another email , not allowed continuing with new ID & must use existing one to do. It is even worse that existing ID was reset, and the lockout not allowed to delete the newly registered ID, so I ended up stuck in a dead loop. No solution!

Doesn’t work. Tried add my passport. Just froze up and crashed. Forces you to start whole process all over again. A complete waste of time.

Circle of death. Can’t open the app, says a newer version is available and must update now. Only thing is when you click update to take you to the App Store the app is already updated and the only option is ‘open’ which takes you right back to the app and the error. I think it’s time for Australia’s own Department of Government Efficiency you wouldn’t see this level of incompetence in the private sector.

Identity strength has reverted back to basic.. I had previously (in 2022) provided comprehensive identity information under the old MyGov Id App allowing full access to all services. Since upgrading to this new app, my identity strength has defaulted back to basic meaning I cannot access key government services. Now not only do I have to waste my time going through the cumbersome process of reproving my identity but I now have to incur unnecessary expense renewing my passport as it has expired ( Expiry has now exceeded the 3 year grace period). I will have to give this app a miss.

How much did the Government waste on this rubbish. I have tried to use this App and it tells me that i need to upgrade the version , so it takes me to the App store and all i can access is open . I select open which takes me back to App and tells me an Upgrade is required I delete the App and go to reload and all it does is open the app again with the same message Upgrade required

Total junk. Only a government department can come up with this junk of app without going bankrupt. Opening the app says it needs update which takes you to the Apple Store only to tell you that you have the latest app. What a bunch of useless developers And it’s the tax office app which wants you to be prompt and pay your GST without delay but cannot provide a software to log in to pay.

What a joke. This app is useless. I cannot open my mygov account unless I go through this app which put me through the ringer. It kept coming up with error messages while I tried to verify my ID. Finally got through to myGov and once I logged out and tried to get back in, myID now comes up with an error to say that my app needs to be updated. I have updated the app but still cannot open it to get into myGov. Super frustrating and a ridiculous way to make people use this so called improved system.

What a terrible app. 1. Forgot my password once and had to re-create my account from scratch. No forgotten password link in sight 🤷‍♂️. 2. Have gotten two text messages about someone accessing my account and to change my password (which I did). However I did notice that I have two-factor authentication switched on, so uhhhm, how is someone able to log in to my account even if they had my password? 🤦‍♂️ On the plus side it does actually work as long as you make sure you remember your password or write it down somewhere I guess. Can’t say I’ve got high confidence in data privacy given point #2 above.

Current version not working on iOS18.5 (iPhone 16 Pro Max). With the current version of this app, attempting to launch it just results in the app immediately crashing following a successful FaceID verification. I’d been successfully using this app since before the name change for securely accessing online government services so it is very disappointing that it is no longer working following on the current version.

Must be one of the worst apps ever. Putting aside that the Australian Government forces people to own a smartphone or tablet – whether they can afford it or not – just to access some government sites, this app is a shocker. So, now the app on my iPhone 12 Pro says it needs to be updated and won’t allow any actions unless you try to update. BUT, the App Store only shows the “Open” option … NO “Update” option. If the iphone were my only device, I’d not be able to complete important tax reports online. Setting the app up on a second device, if you’re lucky enough to be able to afford one, means going through all the security checks again, wasting more of the “customer’s” time. This app, and the government’s forcing people to use a ‘smart’ device rather than just have login via a browser on your computer is a serious impost on people’s time and money. Even worse that the app has to be one of the worst bits of programming ever. It’s a disgrace.

Not much point. I don’t understand the point of this ID app??As a Kiwi living in Australia with only a NSW Drivers Licence and a Medicare Card that I can add to my ID profile on this app (I don’t have any other Aussie ID) this only gives me a Standard strength profile. I can only access a few services with standard strength that I already have profiles with and have provided ID to them directly. So I can’t really use it for anything else. It would be great if you could include foreign passports - at least NZ passports. What is the point of this app?

Time wasting rubbish app. I hate this app with passion. You muppets have now required business folk to use this to login to business online services- we have no time to mess around with this rubbish! Everything is wiped when the app is removed & despite pouring HOURS into painstakingly wretched verification process (many of which dont work with no feedback as to why) none of it holds. Your verifications get wiped if you need to reinstall the app. Your bill for wasting my precious time is in the mail

The Useless App on Earth. Needs All month to just upload your documents after 1 month ask you to upload your Passport and citizenship again and again each time upload in 5/6 different places plus you can’t even upload them, the website doesn’t work most of the time you can’t even log in, the world going through to brightness and Australia 🇦🇺 backwards to the dark time is gold when you lost it can’t get it back, that’s fine for the first time if you ask to upload your documents 5/6 times in 5/6 different places but after is waste of time and better to improve the app and improve the questions

Worst update ever in the history of app updates. This is a very important app for many people, yet this update in late 2024 has created chaos for our day to day business use. Doesn’t work, constant updates that doesn’t allow any actual updates, need to turn the phone off completely to reboot. Please fix this app, it is having a significant impact on our business operations

Awful, and right before Christmas?!!!. Awful app. Is basically pointless, but myGov is absolutely no longer. And because only 2/ 3 merits of identity wont give you enough approval to link the centrelink app, you are left unable to enter the centrelink link., spent 2 entire hours trying to add birth certificate reg number to which no matter what instructions said, my details were denied.. like seriously MyID/myGov you set this up so you don’t have a bombarded number of people visiting each day, but with small errors like this on the app.. right before Christmas?? What are you guys doing? Really awful. I had to call up to my fortnightly report earnings, was in tears dreading the inability to access this option on the app all because my birth certificate would not register. Dreadful. Poorly designed to create anxiety amongst users. And no choice but to use only the app.

Where is the option to give this no stars?. Oh, please take the opportunity to use this useless app, which trashes your identity, cannot be updated, denies that you exist and is bulletproof proof against complaints. And of course, you can’t complain, because the phone in system either keeps you on line without answering or gives you lies and deceptions about what is happening, advice about how to do nothing effective to fix it, or complains that you shouldn’t be so unhappy. I have had the same email and password for years, no problems until some bureaucrat (who no doubt gets a regular salary) decided that a system that works should be changed to one that doesn’t. If it was funny you could laugh, but if you’re desperate, that’s just too bad. And don’t try to delete the app and start again, because it recognises you and blocks you out. Machiavellian.

App Doesn’t Work. I signed up last year and it was working. Last week I needed to access a government service, when I clicked on the app, it said that the app needs updating. I clicked on update, then open, and the app just took me back to the link saying it needs updating. I called myid last week. The first person I spoke to said ‘this is a known issue with some iPhones. We are unable to fix it.’ I have a current model iphone which works well on all other apps. I called again. The person on the phone had me on the phone for 38 mins. We tried a few things that did not work. He then ‘escalated the case’. I was told I would receive a callback by Monday. Today is Wednesday. I need to access this service. I am an Australian citizen who pays taxes for apps like this that don’t work. Not good enough.

Another Fail for digital ID. Update the app and get locked out of the ATO, if this is the future for accessing gov services you need to be a IT specialist just to work it out. Looking forward to spending hours on the phone to a robot. Digital id is voluntary unless you wanna access the government services which you have no other way of being accessed without a digital id with no other option - Fail.

Waste of my time. Have not been able to log in to this app for months.. as a business owner this is not good enough. I am fined if I don’t pay my BAS on time but can’t log in even though I try. The time I have wasted to no avail will never be repaid.. Required to update and get stuck in a ridiculous loop even though on the latest version. Clearly I’m not the only one experiencing this. Good to see our tax money is wasted on pathetic waste of time that rarely works. Can’t speak to a human to resolve the issue either. I don’t have time for this!

AUSGov apps too specialised. Do you believe it is necessary to have an app specifically for a Queensland drivers license, a form of ID, and an app called myID. I appreciate the extra security measures but there needs to be some server clear outs to ensure things continue to run smoothly.

Unable to use as Update is Available but an Update is not available. I have attempted to use this app and when opening it I am advised that an update is available and must be installed. After clicking the Update button I am taken back to the App Store where no update is available. I am therefore unable to use this app. Update: rang the myID Customer Service and the friendly person who took my call advised me to close the app, disable WiFi and open the app again using mobile data and this worked. Hopefully this will help others who experience the same problem.

Since it changed from MyGovID 0 stars. Since it changed from MyGovID I have been unable to log in. I have tried everything on all my devices but after wasting several hours, getting more & more frustrated I still can’t log in. Keeps telling me error, have to start again, doesn’t say what the error is, just I have to start again. Ridiculous waste of tax payers money, typical of the Australian Government at the moment.

It has potential. Great that there is an official app that we can use to verify our identity online. What doesn’t make sense is that if the information provided is verified by the government, why on earth can’t this be used as a legitimate form of ID in real life? For all the people who don’t have a drivers license, this would be a great way to verify age - and at a national level at that!

Utter rubbish. Why is it that any interface between the government & the people is so user unfriendly? Like most government IT initiatives, this app is a great example for IT students of how to NOT create a secure & easy to use portal. Waste of time & money to create. So frustrating to use that I’ve deleted the app for the third time in 3 years. Hopefully I’ll remember to never try using this piece of trash app again.

Enhanced Security - A great Feature. I did stumble with the new app and after several try’s kept getting a very cryptic error message. I went on the myID website and discovered that the error message alluded to the inability to log in on a wifi network - log in was possible only on mobile data. Anyway, I reinstalled myID with no fuss at all and I am really happy with this new security feature. Thank you !

Terrible App, Terrible Backend. The app makes you set up your account all over again if you are logged out. Why bother forcing you to set an account password is a mystery. The system also somehow managed to flip my first and last names, so NONE of my ID documents will verify. To change your name in the app, you have to verify back to the same identity strength as previously held. So I have to verify my identity to correct their glitch (impossible). Called the support line, their solution is to delete all traces of the account so I can start from scratch. They can see my name, I could answer all their verification questions, but they can’t just fix the problem then and there. Sure, take 14 calendar days to delete the account, not like businesses have deadlines for tax obligations or anything.

How to Sign in to myGov (Formerly suffered user Review). 1. Download your myID app (this works as an authentication app for myGoV) Make sure “MyID identity strength” is Strong by uploading your PASSPORT and DRIVERS LICENCE and your FACE ID (by using in-app-camera). Now you are ready to use it for myGov. 2. Download myGov app Register, by entering your email and creating a password. That’s where it gets complicated, you’ll need to follow the steps down below; Choose Sign in with “Digital ID”, click “Select myID”, enter your registered email address, this will generate a 4 digit number, 3. Open MyID app, a box will appear, enter that 4 digit number, then go back to your MyGov app, sign in page will appear, enter your email and password and you are signed in. Gave “5 stars” for everyone to see the Review, so you know how it’s done now.

Typical new app but doesn’t work!. I went to do my BAS last week but it asked me to update the app, no problem but even after it has been updated to the new app it won’t open keeps telling me to download new app, I click it again and it just goes around in circles and tells me there is a new app to download! I tried calling the ATO to speak to a real human, surprise surprise they are experiencing a high volume of calls and can not assist at this time. Well I can not give them money at this time if their own system doesn’t work!

As per above review but NO stars from me. What a frustrating and ridiculous ‘improvement’ this is. As soon as I enter my passport details I get an error message saying this document has already been verified and I am back to square one, meaning I have to remove the app from my device and start again. I have had the same personal email address for over 20 years so this makes zero sense. I have also been doing my taxes through myGov for years without issue. The last version was super easy to use! Typical government, wasting money and effort ‘fixing’ something that isn’t broken. I rang the 1300 number for help. Totally useless. I am required to use this stupid app to revalidate my security clearance so it is essentially affecting my ability to work. Someone should be sacked over this debacle. Funnily enough the nicknames ‘unimpressed’ and ‘not amused’ are already taken hahaha what a joke

Shirls. As an 80 year old lady who is not terribly familiar using IT… I find it annoying with not being able to work out how to set up my ID. I sought help from Centrelink yesterday & the not very willing assistant gave me a sheet of information abt linking an application. It did not take me very long to get it confused..& i my son had accompanied me to your outlet at Caringbah & he also could not work out how to gain access the My Gov. is there someone at Centrelink who can assist me? please? & someone who is kind & patient with elderly ladies. i’m not stupid just deaf & slow. This is so annoying. All I need is help to get access to My Gov.. took me ages to get my son to take me to Centrelink @ Caringbah & he had been on nursing duty all night. !

What’s the point. As a kiwi living in Aus, this app and system is just a big waste of time. The only way I can achieve a strong identity profile with myID is if I have an Australian passport. Why is that the only other option? When I’ve verified my NZ passport. Doesn’t make sense, I also feel for other foreigners trying to link services. And also just any Aussie who doesn’t have a passport yet. This forces you to call the helpline, which a billion other people are using at the same time. To avoid that you’d think they’d make the online process easier but no.

The rage I feel !!!. If you are going to force us to use this app to run our businesses then at LEAST make it usable ….. I have again been told the app needs to update but again has no update functionality so you have to delete it and enter all your personal details again. I am so happy about providing all my personal details again given the governments track record of keeping these details secure. The app is a joke the team who have created the app are a joke the whole thing is mind boggling - tax payers money out to good use again !!!!!!

Too hard. It took me days to set up and still not house what is required. perhaps you can get a 7 year old to rewrite the app to make it easier for an XIT person to use it please??

Please Fix. After the long lead up to this new product launch (the rebrand from MyGovId), I now frequently get stuck in a loop between the app saying, “You must update your app,” then taking me to the App Store where MyID tells me “You’re up to date.” I hit open and I’m told again “You must update your app.” And around we go again. This app is used to verify important work - please fix it

App update required yet no way to update. Everytime! Click on the update button & it takes you to App Store & just has option to open. To use it to log into MyGov or ATO online business service, the only option is to delete & reinstall, which means I have to go through the document validation process again! This is every time I try to use it! It’s getting very frustrating. Can’t the IT people get their act together to fix this useless app???

Asked to update and only option is to Open. Unable to access app as it needs to be updated. Go to update it and the only option is OPEN. So you go around in circles. Unless you turn the mobile phone off and on

Nightmare. This app asked for an upgrade after about 2 weeks of not working. Could not phone support over Christmas shutdown. I got through today and was told to delete the old frozen app and reinstall it from scratch with new identity documents. Oh, and to Callback on Monday because they were going home during my call. I will also almost certainly have problems. I need to call them back on Monday. I can’t understand why I have secure banking and no problems Every once or twice a year I go through hours of pain, grief and calls just so I can lodge my BAS. This is the worst piece of software written by the largest government department in Australia and it’s a total mess. No accountability or responsibility taken by anyone. If I could rate zero then I would .

Good job. Good job overall Reliable, working Past issues included logging off automatically, and difficulties reseting an existing profile. The rest of the app works well

Loving the government!. I love our socialist government, I wish they would accelerate further towards the surveillance dystopia that is so good for us. I think it’s great that they start these initiatives with company owners that get little public sympathy, then slam it out to the public. If I could ask for one feature, I would like it to keep the camera on while I have the app open so the government can watch me.🤞

Crashes on Face-ID. In this version, as soon as Face ID on iPhone is complete the application crashes. I find this app generally tedious – even though it is security related. I've had to rebuild the profile several times, they keep changing its name and how it works – just plan it properly and get it right instead of constantly tinkering.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Horrible. The amount of times it says I need to update (despite all settings set to auto update) and then I end up having to uninstall and reinstall everything and go through putting my id through again to get verified is very frustrating! Particularly when I’m with a client and cannot log in. Glitchy and unpredictable.

Unusable-Not fit for purpose. Impossible. I have wasted 4 days fading around trying to oblige the requirements to access my own ATO account. Ended up having to pay my accountant to update my details. Can’t be used for more than 1 user on the same device-despite the claims. It would seem impossible to get the required access level to perform basic admin on my own accounts. Insists I reset account every single time. I give up. Very poorly designed user interface. Punish & obstruct the end user, seems to be the main purpose. I will now have to waste an entire day & half a tank of petrol to travel in person to the closest $*#&@office, take a ticket wait for god knows how long in a crowded, understaffed waiting room of the damned.

Mandatory but doesn’t work. Click on the app, login, and it just takes you back to the home screen of your phone over and over again. Have tried logging out, clearing cache etc., deleting and reinstalling, taking off Face ID login. Another failure from bureaucracy run amok. Unintuitive, fails to process simple data (couldn’t submit my drivers license as my first name was read as my first and middle names, despite the fact that I don’t have a middle name, and because it didn’t recognise my card number), requires information to be entered multiple times (eg DOB), and it will probably all be leaked in a data breach anyway. Joke of an app from a joke of a government.

Just a waste of taxpayer money. Why can’t these mugs do anything properly? After years of issues with the old system (which I eventually managed to use), they update it to a new, equally useless system….now my face isn’t recognised as my face, and apparently doesn’t match my passport. Also, I can’t access my company info to pay my BAS, as it says I haven’t registered my ABN number (which I have, I’ve been training for years), and when I try to link it by clicking the button, I’m told I don’t have permission……ridiculous

Why has my ID strength changed?. When I logged in to myID recently, my ID strength had changed from “Strong” to “Basic”. I am puzzled as to why it changed: the last time I checked, I am still the same person I was a few months ago. I was able to get my ID strength to “Standard” OK. To get to “Strong” I need a passport that is no more than 3 years expired. Why should I go to the trouble and expense of getting a new passport (which I might never need to use as a passport) to get my ID strength to “Strong”? There really needs to be a way to get to “Strong” ID strength that does not need a passport. This is particularly the case because just a few months ago my ID strength was “Strong”.

Putting the crApp in App. I had low expectations to begin with, yet they weren’t even met. I’m experiencing the same feedback loop as many other users, even with downloading the latest version for the AppStore. If private enterprise conducted business to this standard it would lead to bankruptcy, makes me highly concerned we are chained to this inept and dysfunctional system. Not sure how the ratings climbed as high as 1.7 starts to be honest.

Typical. This is the worst system in the world. How can countries we look at as 3rd world have better systems in place than Australia? Honestly ask yourselves that because this is ridiculous. And the people on the “help” line just want to make it sound like you’re the only one that’s had a problem with it. Disgusting and ridiculous. And you know what’s worse? They KNOW it is and still haven’t done anything about it

Absolute joke.. Whoever made this should be ashamed of themselves for releasing such scum onto the earth. If you try to log in on another device it will tell you that your details are incorrect even when you copy and paste them directly. Then, once you are in frustrated tears at the absolute idiocy that conjured this piece of dirt into existence, it will spit into your face by locking you out of your account. The fact that one must download and use this abhorrent app is a deplorable reflection of this country’s government. I don’t believe in the death penalty, but this app makes me want to; so that whomever designed it can be thrust into the flaming pits of hell that little bit faster.

Terrible app and the helpline is worse!. This app has consistent problems with verification using facial image to elevate to strong. The system says you can use standard strength to access various service, only to find you need strong. I’m pretty sure the help line people have never used the app. They consistently give incorrect information and literally have no idea about how to use the app.

Nice ID apps ! 👍. It just took me 15 minutes, from install Apps to setup and enter my personal details. No idea why so many negative comments but for me it was so simply and easy to setup ! Only link MyGov to MyID was bit confusing, received the four digits pin, then what it means “ come back again “ ? Logout and login back to MyGov apps or what ? ? Need help. PLEASE make it easy to link up together with just one question at the end of setup “ Would you like to link MyID to MyGov ? “ If press Yes then automatically link up together. Question : Now I have this myID, So Do I need to install Ssrvice Victoria ? Thank you 😀👍

Difficult to use. I set up my account. Went back a few days later snd message stated I needed to update the ap,bwhuch I tried to do. Just kept going in circles from my ID to the ap store. Rang customer service who advised me to delete the ap and fill in all my details again. Did this and looked fine. Went to go back in a few hours later and the same message stating I needed to update the ap. I can’t update it anywhere! Keeps circling around again.

My drivers licence details are rejected. I entered my drivers licence details without any errors but the app rejected the information claiming it doesn’t match.

Awful. Terrible platform. All I want to do is register for GST, which I would have thought would be a relatively simple process. Turns out it isn’t using MyGovID

Thanks! Locked out of everything now.. Lost access to my ATO account and had my Business Account cancelled on me because I can’t get in. Spent hours on the phone, multiple days, still a mess.

Dont know who made this. No option for temporary residents. After giving all the tax they make such an app..

Birth certificate verification field is missing. This was in past versions and all .Gov websites still instruct to use it.

Absolute garbage app. All won’t let me identify my passport… saying my details are incorrect when they are in fact perfect to what my passport reads. My name is simple.. and after trying a few attempts my account is locked. I don’t know why it wouldn’t just let you scan your passport or upload a valid document. There is no support email, not even sure what to do now. 0/5 stars if possible :/
