Absolutely horrible!!. Update: This is basically unplayable now! Have to tap the screen or link/button several times before it recognizes what I’m doing. Can’t even get rid of the 100s of R level trainers in the Cube Conversion because of the screen taps not working BUT 20% of the time whenever I select a trainer by “quick” tapping them, it keeps going into the trainer page as if I held the tap down! Completely unplayable!! Original: This is an awful baseball game! I actually really enjoyed the previous version, but this is beyond glitchy! From waiting on a pitch and suddenly the screen has a slight hiccup (definitely an issue for a timing game) to the base running being completely worthless (from players choosing not to advance even though we tell them to to just now, a player running through third and then the control to retreat back totally not working). On top of that, the simulation is completely awful. Teams full of top notch players (talking MMM+) losing to much lesser teams (M-). Why play if it’s no where near accurate/authentic (basically random)??

Good idea but failed execution. I’ve been waiting for a new BBSS game for years and was honestly disappointed but not upset with this title. Developers took a bold step in changing up how the game works completely compared to past titles, and with no proper tutorial it’s difficult to figure out what you’re supposed to be doing. I’m glad they brought back classic mode but to be honest I feel the rest of the game is an unnecessary waste of development time. Hey if the game’s amazing don’t change anything about it right? So why all the change?

This game is far from baseball. It would be nice to enjoy the baseball aspect of it but geez , the collecting and farming for everything is way too much. I’m so lost in this game and takes me 20 min to figure out where I am. If you like in depth RPG than it’s ok I guess but there is so much going on I stopped playing. I don’t even know if you can actually get more players. I buy these packs of players and it’s not the on field players it’s just a bunch of trainers. Have no idea what’s going on. All excited for this game but way to complicated for me. Just wanted to play some baseball and 30 minutes later I’m collecting flipping carrots and umbrellas. O well I’ll look for a different baseball game.

If was fun briefly. I love the older versions of this game so I was excited to see a 2020 version. Downloaded it and enjoyed the first time doing make your own player. Felt like a fresh spin on this mode. Tried to make a 2nd player and finished up the 7 week play time and now it just spins when trying to complete everything to move them onto my custom team. Total buzz kill. I can’t stop/do anything so that function of the game is completely useless thus why the 3 stars. Maybe if it gets updated and fixed then I’ll be happy to up my rating but it just seems like it can’t connect and finish things.

Solid Game for sure.. It was initially a lot of content to take In being new to the series, but as I played more I really enjoy all the different features and game modes there are. Always something to do, players to develop, recruiting to be done, trainers to level up! It’s really a great game , I just wish they could add some more customization options for players . A must play though!

Maybe user error. I love the game, I used to play the older versions back in highschool and saw this on the App Store and downloaded it. So far it’s been a ton of fun, and I’ve almost built myself a complete lineup of custom dudes. The problem is, when I try to use my team in pvp the game won’t let me control all my players. It auto plays most of my batters and only occasionally asks me if I want to hit with two outs and a runner on first.. great. Well my team is decent enough that I can score runs even when the game won’t let me bat, but then it gets worse when it won’t let me pitch and the opposing team is scoring runs willy nilly. Whatever not every pitcher is perfect for every at bat, but when the game gives me challenges like don’t give up more than 2 runs max, then the first three auto batters against me get three base hits in a row it feels a little unfair. Even when I do choose to use my pitcher, all of my pitchers are average joes because the game won’t tell me where I can create my own pitcher. The create a player only lets me make position players so I’m left out here with a pitcher with a fastball and a cutter and nothing else. Don’t get me wrong Mariano had some great stuff but these guys aren’t wearing 42 for a reason. Google hasn’t helped so maybe submitting a review here might

Am I missing something ?. I was super excited when I got the ad for this game, I waited a month for it to drop and thought it was gonna be like the old days and I was absolutely psyched. However the mode that always intrigued me was massively... shortened ? I mean you play 6 games and one playoff game and then they get added to your online roster. Am I missing something ? Is there a continuation or longer version of the myplayer? I’m not really interested in doing a whole make a whole team. I just wanna have a career with my batter. Nothing more. If there is NO way of playing a full career mode with one player then I’m uninterested. Which is a huge disappointment. I will give it the benefit of the doubt however. No way the real career mode is 6 games long. Unless they just decided to go the whole pay to win EA sports route. Which would then be a humungous bummer.

Welcome changes. Well there are a lot of changes from the previous games, one being the my career. So you go from controlling your character for your whole career to developing characters for your Superstar league team in a one season time span. There are honestly nice changes like the coaching system, and the graphic upgrade and the different team story lines. The complaint I have is when in pvp it seems to only let you take control at random times which I really don’t like because a lot of the time it cost me a game. Suggestions: 1. Add a Story Mode that isn’t linked to your Franchise so it is just a enjoyable single player experience. 2. Please fix the random player control in pvp and let us control or sim at ALL times

Don’t bother with “PVP”. As a single player game this is really fun. There are cool characters and the art style takes some getting used to, but once you do this game is really fun. The gatcha is pretty fair and the level up system is tedious and bland, but that’s to be expected in games like this. Playing against other teams however is a JOKE. The galaxy cup is a PVP where you are only allowed to play 3 players and 2 pitchers, so they only let you play when those characters are up to bat. Because of this, every single game is a blowout against you. Have fun while you sit and watch as runs pour in while you aren’t pitching or all your other batters get struck out. What is the point of even letting us play at all if it’s all pre decided? Luckily there is an auto button that I now use every single time because it’s no fun to try my best just to have the NPC team score 11 runs in the 8th. You still get the points, just fewer. The regular pvp is similarly awful, only letting you play portions of those games as well despite it not being a real time game against the other player, but just a computer controlled version of their team.

Not Baseball Superstars II but Still Great. Definitely a different experience from previous Baseball Superstars games but this one is more enjoyable I’ve found than several of the previous games. Still miss the RPG elements and choices that Baseball Superstars II gave us. The old My Player mode reminded me a lot of MLB Power Pros with the different choices that can affect your career. Hoping for a new version of that game but the amount of customization with this one is fantastic. Also appreciate the fact that we can play the game without needing to spend actual money to progress. It’s more of an option and not an EA loot box crutch. Would still love to see this becoming the Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakuu of mobile games one day though. Can see the developers continuing to improve upon previous releases and try new ideas. Appreciate the work you guys do in providing entertainment. This team is excellent.

Very confusing. Really enjoyed past titles. Like others have said, I often find myself lost as to where I am and what I’m supposed to be doing. There are tons of items to collect and buy and it is overwhelming. I shouldn’t have to read manuals to understand a baseball game. thought I would train my player and then keep using him, but I have to keep creating new players over and over? That’s weird. Who thought that was a good idea? Also, sometimes when I am batting and hit a home run the inning just ends like an out was made, but I hit a home run and the inning didn’t end... I am hoping to understand this game better soon, but right now I am disappointed as to what the game is compared to what it could have been.

2020 Superstar. This is a great game, I really enjoy it! It's definitely my favorite sports game for mobile devices. I've played 2012, 2013, and now 2020 and I'm very impressed by them all. My only concern with this game is that new to the 2020 edition there are so many moving parts that it's tough to keep up. I think this game would be best played on a console or PC. But regardless, baseball superstars continues to impress me and draw me back every year they make a game. Excited for what's next!!!

Finally been waiting forever. I’ve been playing this series since superstars 2 and I really like this game it’s new so it’s not gonna be perfect but over time people will realize that y’all have made a new superstars game and then this game’s popularity will skyrocket the only few things I would add to this game is to recruit players too not just trainers and to add events and challenges to make the game more challenging and also have MVP for the campaign and have awards that come with it too if they added that this would be game of the year. One thing I don’t like is the way the characters look on the field I mean I know there isn’t really much you can do but they look kind of stale and less animated if you could change the graphics and the way the characters look and add more stadiums like maybe add some outer space stadiums or stadiums based on UR trainers if y’all added that this game would be amazing.

I’ve been waiting for years for a new one thank you so much. I used to play this all the time a few years ago baseball 2012 mannnnn it’s been years just happy to see they didn’t drop the game and I’m excited to try it out giving it 5 stars because I’ve always like this type of baseball game made you feel like you where the mvp of the game with your own team anyway I’m just rambling on it’s gonna be great

Good game some flaws-Darkdezel. This game is good but some flaws the first one is that the auto mode is not worth it. Because of the poor AI. The second flaw is the length of the seasons because you play six regular season and one playoff. And would like the season to be longer such as 15 games or more for regular season and 3 playoff games. The strengths of this game is the graphics that are pretty good for mobile. The rates are fair to get trainers and also give enough rewards. And the trainers are all unique and different and give the game strategy for trainers. Overall the game has solid graphics and very good diverse trainers but suffers with bad AI in auto mode and short baseball seasons.

Batting in this game is inconsistent. I’ve played this game for over a year now and you’d think I would’ve gotten accustomed to when to swing, but no. Every hit I make in this game either goes straight to an outfielder or is hit short and immediately thrown for an out. Even when I have the eagles eye to see incoming pitches and perfectly time it, I still manage to hit it to the same spots as mentioned before, but I would get a home run hitting it with a special move. The batting in the game is consistent in getting your player out and ruining your characters development, but it is totally inconsistent when it comes to hitting the ball to a point where you can actually get onto base.

Classic Mode is disappointing. I did not like this game when it came out, but was super excited when Classic Mode was announced. Unfortunately, the 2012 game is way better despite being released 10 years ago. The classic mode now is way too easy. You just win every game with no effort. Then you play a long 45 game season only to play 2 series. One best of 3 series and one best of 5 finals. That’s it. Then I guess you just repeat it? Baseball Superstars 2013 did it better with a playoffs with more teams, and then the ability to play in the World Tournament to advance to a further cup with better rewards. I hope they can implement a similar system because right now the classic mode feels way worse than the original.

Thank you!!!. I was a fan of the last versions of Baseball Superstars and was highly upset when no newer versions were made. For years I searched for a game that was equivalent or close to as fun as Baseball Superstars, to no avail. Even the MLB licensed games left a lot to be desired and became repetitive and redundant very very fast. Then while scrolling through Facebook one day, I seen a post about a new Baseball Superstars game and downloaded it instantly and I’ve been hooked every since. Thank you guys so much for finally bringing the game back and making it better than ever and worth the wait. Please make a football and basketball game as well. Us phone gamers need it.

This was so fun. I was playing it when I was younger and everything was fine until this update just tonight I made two new players just to test to see if I could play any games at all but there is a huge screen that isn’t able to scroll down so when I hit quick play there is no way to confirm that like there used to be that’s why I made multiple new characters that I intend to use please let me know what to do PS I also tried to contact you directly

Y’all should add dragon ball Z characters. Y’all should add dragon ball Z characters like: Vegeta as batter, Goku as batter, gohan at batter, piccolo at pitcher, bulma as batter, goten as pitcher and chi chi as pitcher. Which y’all should also add, is their own team, which on that team you to find the 7 dragon balls to have one of these wishes: max stats, free Goku Ur, Super sayain form, or powerful bat. And also add awakening to Goku, Vegeta, piccolo and Gohan. Goku’s awakening: super sayain piccolo: young piccolo Vegeta: super sayain god Gohan: 2 awakings. Super for the first and beast Gohan for the second. Goten: super sayain awakening. Pls make my dream come true. Also make them Ur’s

Good but not good. Ok first of all the game is ok the manager mode is ok where you can go to different planets but the problem is the MY PLAYER MODE people are giving the game 1 star ratings because of that mode. I got really excited when I started playing it I thought it was going to be like a full franchise where you make your way up to the hall of fame. People that downloaded this game are 80% my player mode fans so that mode HAS to be good I gave this game four stars because it has good features but could be much better and if you are a my player mode super fan then this isn’t your game and also one more thing. In the myplayer mode you can only go a six game season and one game playoffs what it needs to be is more groups top two advances and kind of like the champions league where there are two legs or something like that. Also when you win a trophy it actually means something if you made myplayer mode better then this game is a five star rating hands down but for now you can call this game a three star rating or four stars thanks for reading!

Love the game but I miss the old version of it... I have always loved this game, I played the 2012 and 2013 back then when they worked, they was so fun and you got to interact with the other characters and it was just all amazing!! This game you actually got to walk around like through the park before games and interact and get into cutscenes and just have fun! That’s one thing I like about this new game. One thing I really miss is how you can’t continue your own guy, once you finish the 6 games and playoff games you have to make another, I was enjoying my guy and getting abilities and interacting and was hoping to keep him. But it actually didn’t work like it did, you can’t continue your guy and you have to make another which isn’t fun. I want to develop my own guy. Keep all the things I had and just go season after season after season. The nurse helped me and that was a great story because you actually could get a “girlfriend” I guess you can say but the story was fun. But it ended and it sucked because now I need to start over and I don’t like that. I just want to continue my guy and keep the story going and keep getting my player better! :( I hope you guys fix that and actually make it how it was back then.. I really enjoy this game though!

Almost amazing. The game is really hindered by its base running controls. You can not change the direction of a runner more than once per ball in play, which is frustrating if you make a mistake and end up in what would be a rundown, but instead your runner just runs to his demise. It also sometimes will not let you take the risk of running on a close play, which is frustrating as I like the excitement and it invalidates me as a player if I think I can make it and the game says “no.” Apart from that, with a few minor glitches, the game is solid. Since writing this review, i have discovered the game sometimes will pinch hit one of your players without your input, and when it happened to me it made my situation actively worse. I’m quite frustrated at the level of “auto play” this game has even in its most manual mode, especially when I enjoy the gameplay so much otherwise.

Wow. Let me say, I was stuck on baseball super stars 2012. But it ended up crashing all the time recently. And I finally gave in and got the new one. (I tried 2013 and really didn’t enjoy it). And it’s definitely a different experience. Feels like a Nintendo type baseball game all on ur phone. Truly addicting. I wish there was just a story mode that you could play only like the old versions. Because when you play the “my player” you only play one season consisting of 7 weeks (6 season games and a championship week) and then your done with that player. They then can be assigned to your main team you use for season or online play. That is truly my only complaint. Wish I could just have a my player mode where I can make my person the video game version of Barry bonds and not have to worry about his storyline ending. But, the benefits greatly outweigh that negative. The new features are crazy fun, and I am heavily invested in this game as well as Dokkan battle. If you have free time I certainly suggest downloading it. If you don’t have free time, then you may procrastinate and fall behind on work or college haha.

Carter gord likes thsi game / I’m an roblox player an this is better. This game is so good like I see ppl complaining that the game so laggy but it’s there phone or pc it’s good on my phone and I like that the ai is super smart and that pitching is easy I played the 2012 one and that one uhm ………… let’s not talk about that I joined this game in 2021 and it looks the same one year later and I like that and I like that the pitching is simple like I played this game and it was hard to pitch but is so easy to pitch in this game and that’s all rlly.

Lot of game. Wish it ran smoothly. This is a good game turned bad due to lag. The core mechanic of the game is rhythm or timing, which makes any lag totally ruin the gameplay. The collection aspects of the game are pretty user friendly and not too customer abusive. The game takes a long time to play and to build up to match people who’ve been playing for years. The biggest downside though is the insufferable lag. Even on lowest quality operation settings, every single game mode is susceptible to frequent lag spikes even on smooth internet. Most often these lags occur when the game’s chat system decides that it’s time to bombard you with 30 some odd updates of random people you don’t care about acquiring trainers that you also don’t care about, and it spits them all at you in one second. Inexplicably, there’s no way to mute the chat feature during game play or altogether. All of the menu screens have also slowed down, making managing your resources take significantly more time. I thought this might be fixed once it started happening, but the game keeps getting bigger and bigger with more updates of more content and despite an active developing team making frequent updates and a relatively active discord communication server, this problem has persisted. Crazy that you can offer packages for multiple hundreds of dollars when the game doesn’t consistently run smoothly on any setting. This game takes too long to grind for free or costs too much money for it to have this problem.

Horrible. I was so excited when I heard that this game was being released but when I started playing I was hugely disappointed. I really enjoy 2013 so much, it was simple yet still requires skill to win, this new game is an absolute dumpster fire, there is just so much going on, so much on the screen, so many different things that don’t make any sense whatsoever, this is not a sequel to 2013 this is a completely different game, nothing is like 2013, the lack of a true career/my player mode is the biggest let down of the game. I haven’t been this disappointed by a game in a very long time. I won’t be playing this anymore and I hope everybody else’s realizes what garbage this game is. On a side note, the people giving 5 stars that haven’t even played are beyond ignorant.

Are we getting a 2022!?!? 🙏🏽🥺. I love this game!!! So many good things to say about it and I can get lost in it for hours developing players. BUT! - PLEASE!!! - a few recommendations? This is more on the navigation through the trainers, there should be a way where not only can you move between sort pitchers/fielders, but by positions AND rank of trainers. Isolating them so that you can look through only 1B, 2B, etc. And N, R, SR, SSR, etc. Having everything lumped together makes it cumbersome to try and upgrade trainers to get ready for the position that you need to develop in a faster and more fluid way. Other then that? - I’m very happy!

Shocking how extensive this game is. This game is huge, and it is so addictive. There are ska many things to do to make your players and team better. It took me a couple of days to figure out how much there really is to do in this game. I was afraid that I would not like it after playing the old games for so long. I played the original baseball superstars, baseball superstars II, 2012, and I have been playing 2013 for a long time. This game is so different from all of them, but I have loved it. The only thing that I cannot stand is the way that the computer switches pitchers on its own. I have developed a couple of pitchers so far, and I’m still working on developing more, but I still have a few of the pitchers that you start out with. Whenever I’m playing in the superstar league, it starts one of the crappy pitchers instead of one of my good ones, and if I bring in a relief pitcher that is good, the computer will pull him out within 2 innings, even if he is pitching well. That infuriates me because I will be playing a team that is good, and it will sub in my crappy pitchers and all of a sudden they will score 10 runs in an inning. I just wish you could manage your team during the game more. I love this game though, and it has caused me to do bad in school which is not good, but that is a testament to how fun it is lol.

I don’t know how the star review is so high. I really enjoyed 2012 and 2013. They were both simple and fun and had a story which made it different from any baseball games. So when I saw this in the store I got really excited. The game has a Myplayer mode, but it really isn’t like what it used to be. The mode is the side focus and feels more like an event than the full game. The manager thing is way over the top and the fact that it is only a six game season with one playoff game makes it feel rushed. Another bad change is the interface. I do like the updated look of the players and all of the animation but the interface when I’m the lobby is very ugly as there is so much going on. It looks cluttered and confusing to new players. So if you wanted to come back and relive your childhood fun from the old games this isn’t the way to go. Devs please go back to the roots of the older games and I think the players that played the old games will stay.

Throwback. I love this game and I can’t stop playing it. This is the most fun I’ve had on my phone since Baseball Superstars 2010. With that being said, I, as well as many others in the community, would absolutely lose our minds if 2010 was re-released and optimized for newer phones. I think I might have actually cried when the game got taken off the App Store because of all the hours/days I spent on that game. I wouldn’t mind getting to spend a lot more on it

Amazing game! But needs to implement some key features. First off, I played the very old versions of this game so I am familiar with the mechanics and whatnot. I absolutely love this game. Super fun and it isn’t really pay to win which is great! A lot of fun and a lot of modes to keep the game entertaining. I have a few suggestions that I wish were in this game: First, leveling up your trainers is extremely difficult, especially as this is the main part of the game. There is no way to grind for these level up items as everything has a timer which I don’t like. There needs to be a mode where I can play unlimited times to gain level up/ experience items for my trainers because right now, it is an absolute pain to wait which I don’t like They need to increase the galaxy mode energy cap by about 200 or so. Since there is no way to get diamonds without doing missions, daily assignments, and home run challenges, they need to implement a mode to get free DIA (no limit per day) but at a slow rate and that cannot be autod (for balance purposes). The entire game is based on diamonds recruiting trainers, and it is a slow process. Over time, there are less and less missions offering diamonds which is a problem

Good Game: Not A Career Mode Game. This game is confusing at first and it took me a while to figure out how to work the game. That might be due to me not reading the instructions but who does. Anyways it’s a pretty fun game and the controls are very easy to use. There are options to make the controls a little more complex but I opted not to. The audio is a little weird and the commentators make weird statements that don’t correlate with what’s happening in the game but one can look past that. My only big dislike of this game was the fact that you can’t play with an individual player for a long time and make them a superstar. You switch between players and can only use one player for like 7 games before they just get added to your squad. So yeah. I expected this game to be that due to its prequel having this option but I was disappointed to see that this was not the case. Anyways good game. 4/5

Changes are preventing game from shining. I used to be obsessed with Baseball Superstars 2013. The changes they made to 2020 are just not as enjoyable. The “Myplayer” feature offers a short 6 game season along with a 1-game playoff match. It’s very underwhelming. Additionally, once your done with the season your player is just transferred to your online team and you can’t continue on to new seasons with them. The thrill you got from playing 2013’s baseball superstars is what made the game fun and developing your character season by season was what made it for me. I also think the art style of it was overall more enjoyable to the eye. The fact that there is an auto mode offers no challenge, and the trainers/players aspect is not straightforward and kind of confusing. This reminds me of every other game on the app store when it comes to drawing characters/heroes to enhance your team. It has a lot of p2w aspects. Unfortunately, I doubt the 2013 version will ever be updated to be optimized and updated and I doubt that the devs will implement the features that made 2013 version fun into the 2020 version. I will continue to give this game a chance, but overall a lot of the features just aren’t up to par with what I expected out of Gamevil. All they had to do was make a better 2013 Baseball Superstars, but instead they are trying to introduce new, confusing features that just don’t gel well with what the game is supposed to be.

Why are supers for batters so bad. I love the game and i play almost everyday and I’ve just noticed that the supers for pitchers are way better than for batters like my batter used all 3 of his supers for 3 straight games and got like 3 actual hits out of it but a pitcher can use theirs and it’s almost always an instant strike or out the batters supers seam almost useless would probably hit the same without using it. They definitely need a buff it’s way to frustrating to use a super only for it to be caught for an out or to hit a foul ball like what has to happen for it be a super it’s almost like it just looks cool but provides no actual boost and then some of them actually provide no boost for hitting like Liews only give a boost in throw and catch but you don’t get to play the infield you either pitch or hit so it doesn’t necessarily help my hitting as much as it does other stats that I don’t get to use.

A different hopefully new way of developing mobile games. In the past years the mobile gaming market has tanked into games meant to occupy for 3 minutes to get your ad money and that’s it. While yes this game has micro transactions, this kind of game is where they were originally meant to be. Free to play games such as this. The micro transactions are NOT even close to being mandatory. The game play as well for a mobile game blew me away and how in depth some of the systems are. This review is a pat on the back to the developers, your efforts are not ignored or under appreciated!

Great game. This game is so good and u love you can create players but wish you could trade your players with other users since it would be fun trading some players to get a certain type and another thing that would be cool to have would be all the players able to use their special ability once and not all of them linked up and only able use it 3 times in total but other than that it’s a really enjoyable game and I would recommend it if your looking for a fun baseball game.

Amazing Game. I never write reviews but I love this game. I’ve been waiting for a new one and this one delivers. They have a unique way of building your team by playing a mini “My Player” mode in order to develop the player for your actual team. It is an awesome way for you to customize each player and have a better connection with everyone on your team because of that. Overall if you like playing baseball games and building your own team/player you will love this.

Im so disappointed. I was so excited for this game, the past ones were awesome, the mycareer was such a fun story, now seeing different and more characters i was so ready but then the mycareer was only a few games and didnt have the fun long stories and seasons of prior seasons, i wasnt able to play through a fun story and make my player unstoppable, instead i got 7 games to do okay and transfer the player to a myteam feature, i just wish there was a quirky long career mode again :/ would’ve been a perfect 5 stars if it had a career that rivaled the careers from older baseball superstars games

The A.I. is horrible in this game. I heard great reviews of the past Baseball Superstar League games so I pre registered to this game and yea, it’s fun, but I don’t see myself playing for months like I expected. I even stopped playing console since this game came out. BUT there needs to be an option to allow us to control the whole game manually in superstar league and if not at least allow us to manually sub in and sub out pitchers. Every game I’ve lost has been due to my pitchers not being subbed out until at least 6 runs were scored against them and I don’t get my chance at redemption to finally bat until the last few innings and the score is 8-0. When this happens I stop playing for the day because it’s clearly fixed by your auto simulations to force a Pay to win style and it’s such a mood ruiner. The A.I. lacks what it’s supposed to have, intelligence. I might have a few days left on this game, then it’s back to console gaming.

My players. This game was better than all other baseball games because of my player. The feel of playing as your person and making that person better and winning championships. Now it’s like any other game because you just play season mode. I believe you guys had a gem and tarnished it by not having what most people love about the game. As I look through the comments I can see that all of the bad reviews are for the same reason and then you guys make it seem as if you aren’t going to listen because you seem to have an automated reply. I have deleted this game and will check back in a month or so to see if there has been any update if not, I won’t be playing this game.

Amazing!. This game is a must have for anyone who loves baseball or anyone who just loves well-made video games. On any platform, mobile or not, this is one of the best video games I’ve ever played! It is very complex but intuitively designed and well explained so it is not overwhelming and allows you to get the most out of all of its various features. The gameplay is fun, fair, well paced and well-designed. There is no need to pay any money to enjoy the game in full. I cannot express enough how entertaining this game is. Thank you to the developers for putting in this kind of work. To anyone who is considering this game, do it now! I can’t stop playing it!!! A word of advice. Follow the “manual” quests in the lower left corner of the main page to get the best explanations of the various feature. There’s a lot to wrap your brain around but it’s all so well designed that it will make sense if you go in an orderly manner. Read everything!

Too complex to be fun. I was so excited to see a baseball game that doesn’t take itself too seriously pop up in my suggestions, and after reading the reviews I know there had to be at least a small reason to download the game. Upon downloading and playing through an entire season on one player, I’ve been left sorely disappointed. I’m not disappointed because the game is terrible. No, the game is quite excellent and worth it for anyone willing to slog through the poorly written dialogue and tutorials. However, I am not the type to play a game with predatory microtransactions that also designs its own systems to fail you at crucial points. Take for example the dev mission that says, “train your player,” and despite running through every fork of training possible, I still can’t complete that dev mission. This leads me to believe that not only is this game predatory, but it is so complex that I can’t even figure out how to solve the poorly-designed tutorial. Under no circumstance could I advise wasting time on this game, at least not until the devs simplify, enhance, and streamline the most basic pieces of gameplay such as the tutorial and dev missions.

DO NOT PLAY ANY GAME FROM THIS DEVELOPMENT TEAM. I pulled on a UR banner up to a full pity pull. The app freezes so I closed it out and started it up again. When I opened the game the pity bar was empty and I had a UR from the random banner which I did not pull on AT ALL. Customer service refused to refund my diamonds or offer any other compensation due to “fairness.” This isn’t the only issue. Several players were robbed of a reward that the app didn’t count because they NEVER test their updates. No compensation was offered to them either. There is a known issue with people using illegal tactics in live PVP, but the team has chosen to NOT ban anyone at all. So either cheat or get slaughtered because no one here enforces the rules. Not only that, but they are now running a crypto currency scheme that is illegal in most countries so until recently some players were totally unable to have access to the buffs. Conclusion: Avoid Com2Us at all costs. They will not take any responsibility for bugs in their app even if you send screenshot and camera proof. If I could give this app negative 5 stars I would.

Also disappointed, but it’s still better than many other games out there. I’m like everyone else here, disappointed in this game for not being like the old games. You can’t play franchise mode or season mode actually. And you can’t do a long my player mode, building up a character season after season. And the short 7 game season is stupid. Because of this the story also fails. There building good relations with your team and others in the last games took time and they put quite a bit of thought into it. The other problem is that it’s also incredibly easy. My team hasn’t lost a game through 2 “seasons” and my players batted probably a combined .700. It’s just a click when the ball gets there and you’ll be fine. It’s too bad. That being said building a roster of custom players seems kind of addicting but it’s not baseball superstars as we know it. Sad, but still better than most other free baseball games out there.

Free Event Viewing Suggestion. Hi Baseball Superstars, love your game! I have a couple of issues with my version of the game. First, I recently got Mary the Bunnie girl from the recruiting, but I can’t select her to add to my team of trainers. My second issue is that I would like to rewatch trainer events, but I don’t want to have to go through the develop player every time. Could you by any chance add a feature that allows us to view the events of trainers we’ve successfully recruited? That way, we can view it at any time, especially when we’ve accidentally gotten rid of a trainer.

To much going on. I was a very big fan of baseball 12 and 13 I remember playing those games on the iPhone 5 and I’ve been dreaming of the day that a new one would come out and it has and I sadly have to say I’m disappointed what happend to load the game up click my batter and play the game I understand that making the same game 3 times would be boring but come on you have to wait time to play a game there are only 6 real games and 1 playoff game I mean come on who wanted this I can’t even load up the game and get lost in all the settings the graphics are pretty good thought but it just feels like wasted potential because you only get to play 6 games 7 if you count the playoff game so to rap it up if you are a fan of the originals I would recommend sticking to them

Pay to win heavy. Games season pass is above 30 dollars. A bit much for a crappy season pass. Most games for mobile is around 5 to 10 dollars. A new event came out to earn points, catch is you have to spend a dollar or so to get points and to get max i thing it’s around 100 dollars or more to finish it. It’s like one of those Pokémon rip off games. Trump or Biden who every wins needs to banned all gacha from the USA. Also they need to check to see if it’s pay to win they ban it to. If it’s just a quick cash grab they also ban it. Wish this game fits in all 3 categories. To game is aimed toward kids which is the worst part and should be shut down and locked up for that.

Experience Ruined. Giving this two stars because the game ~technically~ works and the aspects that still remain from previous versions are acceptable. However, it’s so frustrating that they’ve moved into this pay to win model focused on microtransactions to get more/better trainers. Additionally, kneecapping My Player was NOT the way to go to please fans of the series - as other reviews have stated the evolution and growth over multiple seasons made My Player the premier mode in BS2013. If I could get through a game without the app crashing I may be able to live with creating multiple players and doing my best to get a full team of my own guys, but as it stands it takes me hours to get through one six game season of MP. I doubt this game will change too much since it’s already released but if there’s a next version, I hope Gamevil goes back to basics (I, and I’m sure many others as well, would happily pay upfront for a better designed, better thought out game with focus on the modes that matter.)

Too much. Update: I tried playing a bit more and it kept crashing. I uninstalled and redownloaded bs2013. The interface is horrible and the season is too short. There is simply too much going on. Make another game like the old ones and you’ll have much more positive feedback. There is way too much going on in this game. Some ppl find the scale of the game satisfying enjoyable but once I was left running around this Zenonia place with a new player I didn’t even want to make I just got lost. It’s really discouraging coming from someone who loved superstars 12 and 13. It’s just too much to process and be able to enjoy. Maybe on a console this would be appropriate but it’s a phone game, I don’t want to be reading essays of explainations of every single Game on tiny screens while I’m on the train, I just want to play actual baseball games.

Love it!!!!. I wasn’t one of the OG’s who played 2012 Or 2013 when they first released, and I was never any good at the game. But incorporating classic into the current gen game with longer development is awesome and adds a new facet of enjoyment. Especially for long time players who remember the story lines. But you also provide enough excitement and enough events where the game doesn’t go stale. It’s just unfortunate that’s it’s only a mobile game. I feel like Baseball Superstars could do super well on the Nintendo Switch with some mobile games being ported over recently without all that many changes. But it also presents the opportunity to make it something completely new. The switch has a couple of baseball games already that aren’t all that good, or can’t be accessed country to country. Already the best baseball game on a mobile. Why not be the best baseball game on the Nintendo switch. I love this game and I would absolutely pay to play a baseball superstars game on a console.

It’s a nice game. I love this game and honestly been playing it so much, but the bad RNG and AI has been frustrating a lot lately, it’s taking the fun out for me. Issue since the latest update. The game was working fine until the last update on the 15th of September, it keeps crashing. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but didn’t help. I wonder if it’s got anything with the update itself, I don’t know how to resolve the issue. If this persists, it would be impossible to play on.

I can’t even get through the title screen?. Every time i try to play this game, it says across the title screen “Invalid app version (32.9.1). I’ve tried uninstalling and installing 3 times and have made sure I’m using the most recently updated application. I’m extremely disappointed since I used to play baseball superstars from 2011-2013 and I really enjoyed theses games. I’m really hoping this issue will be fixed soon.

Better than I imagined. I remember playing this game back in 2012 and 2013. I got pretty hooked on the game then. Then, nothing for 7 years. Great game but it’s glitchy. I’ve played every baseball superstars game and they’ve all been great! 2021 has really nice graphics and relatively smooth play. The only downside I’ve faced with this game is the swing button doesn’t work sometimes. No matter how many times you click swing it won’t work. Your batter just lets the ball go right by. If this was fixed I would definitely give it a 5 star rating!

Trash and waste of time. God this game is so garbage. I was a big fan of all the other games because of how it was a simple baseball game with cool characters. It was fun. Now it’s a super complex mess that takes FOREVER to get to a game only to find out that it’s automatic and plays for you. You only get to actually play the game like for one at bat every few innings. It’s garbage, switch to your old game style. In the old games you went through a short tutorial but in this game it took me like 30 mins just to get to a game and it was a HUGE letdown.

Please tell me why. I have played past Baseball Superstars games in the past and they were all pretty good as far as a phone game goes, but this I’m a little thrown on. The game won’t even let me get past the Home Run race in the beginning used as the tutorial. Whenever this finishes the unusually good looking character Lina says “good work! It looks like we’re still on track.” The screen behind her is dim and on it says “no purchase permission, please the the purchase settings on your device.” Please if you have any ideas on what is wrong let me know, I really want to play this.

Can’t pass loading screen. I love this game and play it often, however after the latest update I am unable to get past the opening loading screen to get into the game. I am disappointed as I was looking forward to trying the new features from the update

Addicting. If you get into it you can play for hours everyday. There is soooo much to do. Make sure to just build trainers at the beginning if you’re seriously interested in playing for awhile. They keep adding features too. I loved the old version of this game so I was happy when they moved the style back to the old versions. The long hiatus between releases was worth the wait.

Good idea, terrible execution. It’s fun, but not if the multiplayer is dead and nobody is playing the game. The multiplayer isn’t even fun to play with a team that you spent hours building because the game just skips through half the the innings and your team gets demolished. If you play against someone on the easy mode then your team just obliterates them so it’s no fun on either side you pick. The game has a good premise but my god the actual online mechanics are infuriating.

Sound. It’s been three updates with the issue of music being stopped by the game. Knowing the issue was resolved before and that it’s popped back up again without resolution is why I give 1 star. Not playing music is why I barely play the game anymore. I might check in for my daily but that’s about it.

Completely Different Game. I was expecting an updated variation of the old baseball superstars but found that this one is completely different. There’s no my career mode, instead every facet of the game revolves around you building a team which easily favors pay to win players. On top of that, the super abilities aren’t even baseball related, back then your super bat just gave you a boost in power or whatever, now you get some anime animation and it just completely throws off the feel of the game. I was excited when I saw they made a new game after 7 years, but now I wish I never saw it

Stop tryna be like everybody else. This game could of been wayyyy better if they made a “my player” with a unique story like they did in 2013 and 2012. Doing that would have really separated this game from others. Instead they just made a “my team” type mode . They could have just added this “team mode” whiles keeping the “my player” mode. This isn’t Baseball Superstars. Baseball Superstars used to be amazing. The best baseball game ever (2013) and they ruined it. Yeah it looks good. But it’s all auto controlled and there’s just way too much going on. Let me create my player and take him to a championship. Not all this extra. I can’t even pick what to do it’s so confusing. Gameplay is boring. Story mode isn’t like it used to. I’m sad. 7 years I’ve been waiting and this is what we get. I’m not one to complain usually about games but they totally botched this.

2020 is saved!. Just got the game. ITS INCREDIBLE! There are some requests that I believe will make the game better. First off the “dev guide” in my player is broken. It says “train ur guy” I train him 10 times and the quest isn’t complete. But rather than that it is a classic brought back to life. I really hope they continue on this series.

Not the game it once was. I find this game to not be the superstars it once was, if you hope to find that career mode where you get to pick being a pitcher or a batter and build that one character through many seasons, you won’t find that here. It’s also complicated and I just don’t want to bother with learning all the minute details. It’s one of those games where you will eventually realise that you could’ve done something better and regret not learning it sooner type games because you didn’t realise the existence of the mechanics

Amazing game!. I have been waiting so long for another game to come out. While it’s more complicated than I was expecting, it’s still every bit as addicting as 2012 was. I did hit a little bit of a hiccup there after the update, but it ended up working out! I definitely recommend this game if you’re an OG player or even just a new player!

Cannot access myplayer. Love the game, very addicting but cannot access myplayer mode. It says I have a developed player, though I already sold him. I have attempted selecting auto removal but it explains that there is no replacement available for the position. I also do not know how to get new players so I can resolve this problem. Please help I like myplayer mode the most lol.

Don’t understand the complaints. Don’t understand everyone complaining about micro transactions; great AD FREE and FREE game, almost feel guilty that I’ve never bought anything, but you really don’t have to. Based off the mega-transaction prices, I have a feeling this whole game exists off a small percentage of ‘whales’ subsidizing it for the rest of us. Frustrating glitch. I have been playing the game for years and I love it. However, these new updates have made things vastly more costly in game and more importantly it does not allow me to sort trough the the cores when I am placing them in a trainer. Any time I try to use the “filter” function it won’t allow me to leave that screen and I have to restart the game. It is very frustrating to find cores now for particular trainers.

Even better!. If you’ve played their other series of baseballs, you definitely would be impressed with the improvements they made for this one. Added new features and made it more entertaining. Most games try to do a comeback for their previous successes only to keep the same content and no new updates/upgrades. But this game is on a whole new level

Latest Update Broke the Game. This game is usually overpriced and glitchy to begin with, but once you learn to work around the visual mess and ignore the ads and cash grabs the game itself is fun. Unfortunately the game is currently absolutely broken. It was laggy, so I installed the latest update, which apparently was a mistake because now the game is launching an incorrect version that won’t even load to the start screen. If you’re going to put an update out, at least make sure it’s a readable version.

I don’t normally write reviews. But they crushed this. Yea sure there are some microtransactions. But they give you everything you need and more without them, and the depth of content for a free mobile game is pretty insane. I used to play the other baseball games Gamevil made, and even though this is pretty different it’s definitely the best.

A great edition to the franchise!. This version has all the features of the old games with a mix of new and old features to make your team different than any other in the game. Not a money grab but I have spent money to support the creators because they did an AMAZING job bringing this game back!!!

Over complicated. The my player is fun. Then you get to the end of season 2 and it doesn’t allow you to advance. Somehow you have to raise the overall of my team or something. Then you add your player to my team roster to raise the team overall. Then you can’t use that player in my career. So idk. You get stuck after two seasons. No point. Then there’s all this crao about trainers and recruiting them in order to play the new version. Idk. Way over complicated for a game that could be so much fun

Insanely good. I have been a long time fan of the baseball superstars games, having played them all. I honestly have to say, this is the best one yet. It feels like you are playing a console or computer game on your phone. It’s a little bit hard to understand at first, but once you get it down it’s a breeze. Great game all around with so much to do. 5 STARS!

Very well made, unforced micro transactions. This game is absolutely amazing, very well made and keeps you interested. This game has a lasting appeal, what makes it great is that it does not force you to “play to win” you can earn diamonds through game modes. What is lacking in games today is the ability to unlock stuff without having to pay extra, this game does a great job of giving you opportunity.

A bit confusing for new players. I can’t seem to figure out how to have both a career batter and pitcher at the same time, as it won’t let me use the batter after I made a pitcher as well. I also cannot seem to figure out how to have the game let my pitcher go past the 6th inning. Otherwise it’s a pretty good game for being fairly early on so far

Bug report. The game is awesome and I love it, but I’ve experienced an issue where I can’t play as my batter because of an issue with a developing player being in the line up, and I don’t know what that means. I try to use auto assign but that does not work either. I really wish I could get some help to fix this because I’d love to continue the story as my batter. Please, if anyone can tell me how to fix this. I’d be very appreciative

Been playing for what feels like forever. I ve been playing this game since forever it got my through so tough times I think it’s offline too they went crazy on this it even gets you interested in americas favorite pastime I love the customization aspect of it the most

Updates Are Bad. Newer gameplay updates have ruined the game. They removed the ability to pitch other than only choosing to throw a ball or strike. Now it’s impossible to have any control over what happens while pitching it’s no better than simulating. Also they clearly nerfed super swings. It’s less effective to use a super swing now than simply doing a normal swing. Very frustrating that they’ve made negative changes to what was a great game to play.

Overcrowded/confusing Game UI/experience. There’s an appealing gameplay in the core of it. I think what they did well back then is keeping it simple to the gameplay and character building aspect of it. This version just got bombarded by tons of UI/micro transaction elements that makes it so burdensome to navigate around. It’s unfortunate because there is an appealing art behind it all but it just got overshadowed by all these unnecessary things. I tried it for a few days and it just lost its appeal quick. I’d only recommend the older version of this game franchise.

First Review Ever. I never review games as I stop playing after a week. This game is really well made so that it doesn’t get boring even if you spend lots of time on it. It’s definitely not pay to win and the story and concept is very enticing. Some things to add would be more customizable characters(play as female?) and being able to play a myplayer mode as the dinosaurs, lions(other teams in the league).

New Update made the game really hard. Last update I can’t develop my players skill rating because I’m not getting perfect games anymore. Seems every time bases are empty I score and when 2 or more are on I keep getting outs. I never strikeout I have great timing. Huge bug issue where I can’t ever get hits with players on base. So rare now.

Needs to go back to simplicity. I thought I might be the only one but the other reviews tell me I am not. Baseball superstars 2011 was my favorite app ever! I kept it on an iPod for years and the only thing I did on that iPod was play that game, unfortunately it just crashes. This game is wayyyy too complicated like other some of the other newer baseball superstars games. A simpler game with simpler graphics and UI would be cheaper to develop and I would gladly pay $10 for it! Please go back to the old game and make the superstar mode a fun simple career mode again

If you want a game where you can play for hours and not get bored of? This is your game. They’ve outdone themselves with all the new fun things you can do in the game. Easily one of the best phone games of 2022!

Enjoy it. I personally like the game because it doesnt become tedious, you never now what can happen when creating a new player. Yes people complain about freemium or paid to win but i feel like the balance is there you just have to grind it. I wish for more customization in the creation of players. Hopefully this new update brings that into play.

What happened to the older versions?. Hello I love this series but my favorite version was the 2011 version. Is there any way to play the old games. Even soccer superstars was my favorite and I’ve never played any game that that as fun as that on this App Store. Is there any way you will help us be able to play the old versions of your games?

Making Superstar Soccer/Football?. I’ve been a big fan of Superstar Baseball since 2013 and still am I don’t mind the lit if not huge changes in the game but developers I gotta ask have ya’ll thought bought branching out the game sports wise with basketball, soccer, football etc. you know with some of the major sports out there I think ya’ll can work some magic if ya’ll can do those right like ya’ll did with Superstar baseball 2020

Misleading purchases. The game has little “once only” prompts offering 1k diamonds for > $5. You know - “offers you can’t refuse” like most games have.. Only to be purchased and go to your mailbox for 15 diamonds. SCAM! I made sure I read it say 1,500 x DIA for .99 Okay it’s just a dollar for 3x(10+1)’s - might as well. Boom! 15 diamonds + some purchase bonus for 100 diamonds. People who are going to spend money for games are going to do it. Stop trying to trick users and scamming for a dollar. That’s tragic. Sad part is, I fell for it twice. The first time I noticed and figured it was a glitch, or delayed. Waited for it to pop up again. Purchased again. Same thing. It’s fake. I love this game, been playing for years, but the tricks this year are terrible.

Female my player. I don't ever leave reviews but I felt compelled to do so because I am enjoying this game so much. I've never played the other versions but my partner recommend this one to me. Wish you could have a female my player though. And a full story mode would be awesome. The game itself is very enjoyable though. Super addicting!

Very fun game, but frustrating. This game has a lot to it for being a baseball game… very fun and very addicting but I have to take off 2 stars for 2 things Mainly is their ‘percentage of success’ calculations, I have failed 8 “90%” chances in a row yet hit 30% and 50% chances everytime… beyond frustrating And second I wish they’d have at least the develop a player for offline use, we can’t have internet everywhere

Loved the old games, but this one falls flat. The “my player mode” was one of my favorite aspects of the old game. And now it’s basically gone. The actual baseball playing in this game seems supplemental to the weird farming/rpg style. It’s not for me. I loved how simple and straightforward the old games were. I was so excited to see this come out but it is a major let down. Overall, it’s not a bad game. But because the older games were so good I feel like this is a major downgrade.

Incredible. Simply put, this game is incredible. Really no better wya to put it. While it may be challenging to understand at first, once you get the hang of the game, it becomes virtually impossible to put it down. This game is so deep with how you create players that the game never ends up feeling repetitive, even though the game does have some grindy elements. Overall, once you get used to the game, it is a blast all the way through.

Welcome Back. I remember playing this series back in elementary school and now I’m a sophomore in college and I can’t be more happy that they decided to make another!! Content is great and the gameplay is flawless! Love all of the animations and the different things you can do in the game! Absolute fabulous game! Hope to see more of the series in the future!

Great game but.... Several of the announcer’s comments don’t match the play (ex. “It’s gone” for a foul ball, “Hit to opposite field” when it was pulled, “It’s a hit” when it’s a groundout to the 2nd baseman, etc.). Wish pitches were changed to mph instead of kph. Game is also a battery drainer that makes my phone hot (iPhone XS Max). An update or two to fix the above issues and this game will be the best baseball game in the app store...hands down. Pumped that a new version is out!

Glad they’re back!. As someone who played Baseball 2012 religiously when they were a kid I was hoping for a nostalgia factor and boy was it there. I loved seeing the old characters in the trainer section and the new ways to create players. I missed this game so much and glad I can delete all these other apps off my phone. 10/10 thanks for bringing it back.

Great!. I’ve played for about 4 days now, and I’m addicted. This game goes far more in depth than its predecessors: II, 2012, etc. Message for the devs- can you add an option to change the main lobby background music to whatever myplayer background music you want? It’s a bit repetitive playing one song. Otherwise fantastic game!

Huge sigh. Straight to the point. The game is ehhhhh. It’s complicated and nothing like what the games used to be. I understand games evolving but this too away the one thing that made the game fun; building up a player. It’s just 7 games building a player then they’re gone and you have to start over again. I’m still going to play because I waited 7 years for another game, but I’m severely disappointed in the lack of a proper single player career like the old games. Hopefully they add it.

Need to fix classic mode. I loved the 2012 version because it was simple but still offered a lot to do within the story mode. I was really excited to see the same set up in this game with the added element of a storyline but after 2 “years” it will not let me continue in classic mode. The instructions are very vague and do not tell me how to continue in that mode. It shows at the top you can play 13 seasons but only let me play two. The new elements are too complex for my liking but the classic mode was awesome. Hope that gets fixed

It’s great, but. The way the game plays and even developing players for your team is really fun and cool. I just really miss the old MyPlayer where we could make a player and develop them over multiple seasons. The best part about these games was trying to make the best player you could over multiple seasons, now we only have 7 games to try and make a dominant player to add to our team. It’s great, but the old MyPlayer would make it 2 stars better.

Super stars 2020. The game is reborn in previous entries the game was built like. A console title now it’s more streamlined in the play experience with attention to detail from the character models to the dialogue menus etc .... it’s obvious there was thought put into the game the my player season is short and in the end actually counting to something and making you feel like each person is fully equipped for the games ahead
