Good, but crashes too much. Functionally speaking, it’s a nice app. I’ve gotten dozens of cool videos of the birds in the bird feeder outside my window by setting up my phone, turning on this app, and letting it run for a few hours. It’s a really cool opportunity, and easy to learn for beginners. I will say that for $5, I was expecting a much smoother app. It crashes frequently, probably every time I use it. Additionally, when you view one of the videos that you’ve collected and then go back to the full list of videos, it’s nearly impossible to figure out which video you just watched. I’d like to see those two things fixed in a future update.

Annoying: Needs Microphone Access too. The app will not work if you do not enable BOTH camera and microphone. Not workarounds, just a nag screen to allow/re-allow access. I’m recording wildlife through a window, I do not want or need it recording audio. I don’t let any applications access the mic. It would be 5⭐️ if it would just throw a warning that audio is unavailable/mute if I denied the microphone. The developer should fix this in an update. I’d re-review.

Nice, but just one problem. Can’t make alarm indefinite, until switched off, kinda kills it for my needs

Doesn’t even work. Your app keeps crashing and won’t even open, I’m on the newest version of IOS, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and reset my phone and it still doesn’t work! I want my money back!

You have got to be kidding me. Quite frankly, I can’t imagine this sort of app is that hard to implement correctly. I was trying to track a mouse to see where it’s coming into my kitchen from. I physically saw the mouse running through the kitchen but didn’t see where it went, so I checked what the app registered. Nothing, in spite of the mouse definitely being in the field of view of the camera. I want my money back.

Crash crash crash. Got the camera pointed at the trash to record who’s dog keeps getting into it... app crashed as soon as I walked away. No videos recorded. Phone was on home screen when I returned. This app isn’t worth the money. It isn’t worth free either. It has to be fixed immediately

Good app, needs some tweaks. I use this app to shoot video of birds, close up, on a window feeder. Because I’m shooting through glass, auto-focus is a bit of a pain, so it’s nice that I can turn auto-focus on in the settings, focus on the bowl, then turn auto-focus off, effectively locking focus. Things I’d like to see: 1) A full “manual focus” feature, where you can set-up/frame the camera, click a spot and have it auto-focus once. Then, once you turn on the recording, focus is locked. 2) It gets a little bit confused going between extremes of light and dark. So the auto-exposure is weird, possibly linked to the manual-focus issue/switch? 3) On the rear camera of the iPhone XS Max, I can switch between the 1x and 2x cameras but I’m not seeing the full “wide” mode of the 1x lens. This is possibly related to HD (1080p) shooting versus 4K. Will have to experiment more. But I’d like to see “full frame” HD, if possible. 4) Not sure what’s up with the App Store but it’s complaining that this app isn’t available in the App Store when I go to review directly from the app. Maybe a bad review link needs to be updated? Otherwise, I see this app being the “go to” app for recording video triggered by motion!

Small animal captures. Pretty cool little app. motion sensitivity and speed is pretty darn good. You can even select area of sensitivity range within the view of the picture area. you can select how long the video recording runs after motion is stopped . I had to stabilize my bird feeder so that only bird motion is captured otherwise it would keep rocking. you will need camera support to hold your camera solid still to the framing of the subject area while you are not there. I would not try this Marmots , Monkeys and Ravens.......Marmots, Monkeys and Raven .....Oh My !

Not a security app.. If you hoping to catch someone messing with your phone, this app isn’t it.

Everything that a motion detector should be. This app has everything you need to set up a mini security system. Place your phone, active it, and then wait and see what happens. It’s nice having the ability to upload the videos to Dropbox so I can see what’s going on from anywhere in the world.

Has issues. The camera works as expected , but uses a lot of battery. The issue is while this app was installed my phone kept dropping phone calls . My phone never does that. I uninstalled the app and I haven’t had a dropped call since . I requested a refund .

Freezes - find another solution. I cannot get this app to work without it freezing.

It’s not actually a motion sensor.. If you can’t have your phone turned off and it turns on when it “senses motion”, then it should just be called a camera.

Won’t save video..app useless. I’ll be submitting to Apple this app does not function as designed and get my money back immediately

Keeps crashing / never got to the home screen since I bought it.. The app continuously crashes. It has never worked since I bought it.

No zoom?. It’s a nice app, but it’s a bit frustrating that I can’t zoom the camera in while detecting.

Must have app open can’t run in background. This app is cheesy! You expect based on the description it will run in the background and detect motion. Not at all! You must leave the app open for it to work. Not satisfied and I want a refund!

Tricked. Beware this isn’t what you think. The screen stays on and lit whenever the app is activated.

Does not work on locked screen. I really want to like this app, but this app will not record or detect motion if you lock the screen and close it after it’s set. Please have this app work in the background or at least when the screen is off/locked. Thank you.

Does just what it promises. I like this app. It worked the first time I tried it. And the user interface is excellent. Easy to set up. Highly recommended.

Not bad. Works quite well. It would be nice if the light could be set to only come on when recording starts and turn off when recording stops.

Great functionality but crashes everyday. This app has everything you need but it’s frustrating to use because it crashes everyday. So I only get so many video recording before the app dies. This is very problematic for me since I’m trying to use the app to record motion in a remote Location...

Good concept but super buggy and feels unfinished. Using this to capture footage of hummingbirds coming up to a feeder which is suction cupped to my window. It works sometimes. Unfortunately the app keeps crashing on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 14.2. Sometimes I have to try 10-12 times before it will successfully launch. Also would be nice to be able to do a slow motion edit on the footage or capture still frames from the videos, which I can see having use in a security camera mode, but the app doesn’t have that capability. Overall, feels like it was half finished.
