Missing option. The EQ needs a Rock/Metal setting. Otherwise, the app is simple, yet does what it advertises.

Great sound for music, otherwise, don’t bother. Liberty + seems more like Liberyy -. The music quality is very good. It falls apart after this. Originally these headphones were marketed to connect with Amazon Alexa products as well as Siri. They pulled Alexa off from the options some time ago. Liberty+ were said to connect with Siri. Not so much. It’s spotty at best. Often the ear pods freeze and make annoying buzzing and clicking sounds until you remove them from your ears AND put them back in to the box. I took them out of my enand put them back in and the buzzing/clicking still continues UNLESS. you give them a little box “time out”. I haven’t tried calling folks but am leery about its capabilities and consistencies. I hope all of this stuff is addressed and corrected asafp, otherwise, would you like to buy a pair real cheap?

Can’t detect my earbuds at all. This app can’t detect my brand new Zolo Liberty Plus earbuds at all — even when I am using them and they are connected via Bluetooth. Please fix this issue!

Not working. Can’t connect to app

Still far to go.... App is pretty barebones but has (mostly) done what it was supposed to. No issues for me with it not finding my ear buds. A few eq settings to choose from, ability to turn transparency on and off and prior to 1.0.3 you could view the battery level (though mine never got above 92%). Very disappointed to see the battery level removed from the app, especially since it’s still in the description of features.

App is terrible. Love the headphones and it is great that they don’t need the app to work. All I get is a message saying that it cannot connect. Driving me crazy. The stars are for the headphones because there is no- for stars.

After update.... ... earphones won’t connect to Zolo Life App. Issues not related to update: When trying to make phone call using Liberty+ sometimes there is strange sound and I have to disconnect them and reconnect them so that sound can disappear. Sometimes when connecting Liberty+ Z-up will not connect, to be able to connect them I have to unpair Liberty+ and pair them again (putting them to charger won’t fix it). Sound and design is outstanding!!

Good Start. It’s a good start but it needs some work. There are not enough EQ settings or custom EQ settings. The app seems to lose connection with the buds constantly as well. Overall 3.5 stars.

Needs updated. Wireless zolo earbuds works perfectly just the app need to be updated

Average. Just received my buds. Even if they’re paired, if you leave the app and come back it disconnects and says it can’t find the buds. No way to check battery life apart from the small indicator in iOS. Eqs are Ok, best sounding is Balanced but needs a Rock, Movie, and Custom EQ urgently. Transparency level should be able to adjust not just on/off. Connection after taking buds out of case takes quite a few seconds, to the point that if a call enters and you take the right out to answer, the call would drop before you could pickup.

Non functional app - don't waste your time. I'm listening to music over my Liberty+ earbuds..Y iphone is perfectly connected to the earbuds. Yet the app says my earbuds are not connected. I can't get the app to talk to the Zolo earbuds. Too bad as much care building the earbuds wasn't put into coding the piece of crap app.

Awful. I only get sound from one ear bud So when I go to the app to get it fixed the app doesn’t even recognize then earbuds?

Bad. It’s very poor quality and the app won’t connect to the earbuds even though it’s playing music.

Don't waste your time.. I have only one word for this app. GARBAGE. I only give it a one star only because it doesnt let you give it no stars.

Earphones won't connect to the app. The earphones work fine, but even after pairing with them and hearing music, the Zolo Life app doesn't recognize the earphones and still stuck at "No Device Connected".

Garbage!!!. This app is Garbage!!! When you open the app to connect the earbuds it says earbuds not found. No matter how many times you try to connect them with the app it doesn’t work. They can still work with your phone. Just not the app.

Good earphones, horrible app. I wish your app was as good as your earphones. I love the earphones! They fit great and sound awesome....But the app has never seemed to connect with the earphones. Looking at the reviews, it looks as if your IT department has given up on fixing it.

Need to update app. The developer of this app need to either come up with a different app that actually works or update the current one .it doesn’t connect at all to the earbuds.

No connection. App will not connect to earbuds... love the earbuds but not the app. Please fix this.

Rudimentary. Great for the minor level of adjustment you can do to the headset, but I’m really disappointed that we’re only given 5 mysteriously tuned EQ presets. Please give us a multi-band EQ option!

Doesn’t connect.. I’m sure this app is great, but it doesn’t even connect to your earbuds. Even if I disconnect and reconnect it still does not work.

Poor connection to earbuds. Even after updates, app is useless 90% of the time because it never connects to the Liberty+, even with the earbuds (and z-up) themselves connected via Bluetooth.

Uhhh. Did not even work

Good app, not enough features. I wish I could change the double click on my earphones to skipping to the next/previous track and the hold to Siri, the other way around makes much less sense to me. I also wish I could change the EQ back to flat, I’m shocked it isn’t an option.

Won’t connect with app. Though the iPhone has no issue connecting with the earbuds and work fine I would like to have the EQ settings the app offers...the iPhone connects, but the app can’t find the buds...why Zolo?

Horrid app; Great ear buds. I got the buds in the first release of them and love them. The app I got when it released and have NEVER once been able to connect with my iPhone or iPad unfortunately. I’m assuming the app is very low priority wise since it hasn’t worked for majority of everyone since the beginning...we’ll see what future holds

Rating is on app/not headphones. Got the Liberty+ headphones and I absolutely love them. I’ve got 3.5+ hours out each charge. The Zolo Life app to tune the headphones hasn’t ever worked. I’ll actually be listening to music when I try to connect and the app says to turn on my iPhone’s Bluetooth. I’ve made sure to have both Zolo and Zup connected and it won’t work. 😕

Was working. Was working, it doesn't read my battery level properly. Never showed above 85% charge, but managed to use earbuds for the stated 3.5 hours. Connection is spotty. Im playing music through the earbuds and the app says it can't find them. Also, the assistant feature worked for a few days, now the earbuds don't respond to a double tap. Then I tried long pressing the home button and got nothing, but could speak into my phone like normal. Now I long press the home button and can hear the Siri sound in my ear and can make requests but don't get any audio feedback from Siri. Really weird.

Only works in one ear. Package looks nice but only one earbud functions on the left side. There is no way to check no if the other big is even connected. Two different Bluetooth connections appear when you want to link to phone, Zolo life and Z -up. No mention of this in the instructions. Anyway will give them away as I received them as a gift, pretty lousy earbuds.

All around great product. Great job with the app. Only problem was first time connecting earbuds to app. Second try worked and haven’t had a connection problem yet. Transparency is a great feature when turned on you can’t hear any outside noises. But EQ could have more options and a customizable setting.

Good start for a new product. Love the actual earbuds. Sound is very good defiantly better than apples airpods. Battery time great. Metal charging case holds up to abuse(yeah I may have dropped them once on a tile floor and watched as they skidded along for 10 feet). These fit my ears perfectly and are very comfortable. For comparison AirPods fall out of my ears when I move my head slightly. App is a good start. Needs a Rock eq setting. Also needs a Custom eq setting. Would love to be able to remap some functions ie the push 3 seconds to activate. Haven’t tested the anti loss function yet.

Lose connection easily. It constantly loses connection to the earbuds. Also it doesn’t have all the control such as next/back, volume etc.

Doesn’t see my Liberty+ most of the time. Headphones work great! App thus far doesn’t. Usually thinks it’s disconnected after a minute or so even though the headphones are playing fine. Not worth the trouble for a battery meter and unwanted EQ.

Idiots read. This app is for the liberty plus headphones only does not work for regular ones please check your device before leaving bad review

Needs custom EQ. Built-in EQs are not great; needs custom graphic or parametric EQ with custom presets.

Not Ready For Prime Time. The features presented by this app are available through buttons on the earbuds themselves. Add to that poor connectivity makes for an app that adds no value to the user experience. This is long overdue for an update.

Just Terrible. This app has a mind of its own. Sometimes it connects sometimes it doesn’t. Even when it does there’s really only 1 item you need it for, everything else can be done using the buttons on the earbuds. The buds are a different story, Anker is having problems with the left earbud... for me the left side is not as loud as the right. At least I get sound from both, many do not. Sometimes mine work perfectly and the sound is really good but the other 90% of the time my left isn’t as loud as the right. I contacted Anker several days ago but have not gotten anything back from them. I know their busy with problems from the Kickstarter program. I’d stay away from Anker earbuds until they work out the bugs and they prove they can take care of their current problems with their customers. My left side just kicked in to full sound and they do sound good when working oops no it’s back. Good luck is you dive in.

App no work for Zolo Liberty. Zolo liberty need to be supported on this app

Mispellings and inconsistent connection. 1) sound of earbuds are good 2) there are so many misspelled words in the app instructions which seem unprofessional and make me doubt the quality of this product. Please hire an English editor! 3) the app doesn’t consistently pair with headphones. This seems concerning since this is supposed to be Bluetooth 5. Fix these. 4) eq settings nice

Reliable, nice addition to the excellent Liberty +. Reliable app, always connects to my Liberty + headphones first time. Only improvement could be to have greater adjustment using the EQ section. Keep up the great work with future improvements, they are very much appreciated, by a happy Liberty + user!

App crashes constantly. So tried to use the app. Tried enabling transparency....crash. Tried two more times....crash. Tried changing the EQ in app...crash. Tried two more times...crash. Not sure what use the app is...

Poor software. App doesn’t connect with headphones, although the music is coming through. The equalizers don’t seem to change anything (the iPhone one’s do) and the few times the app does connect it often crashes. No battery status since last update (Probably the one good feature to begin with). I am pleased with the headphones but the app seems to be a waste of time.

Needs Additional Features. App seems fine, but would like to see battery status and support for Apple watch.

Won’t detect headphones even when connected. Great app but need improvement and bug fix. I tried and connected my Zolo liberty+. Some time it’s connectes other or should I say most of the time it says not connected or it won’t event detect even though they are paired and connected .
