Pure Junk.. I don’t understand where all these positive reviews come from, this is junk. There are upload limits on sizes, you cannot duplicate models, there are ZERO advanced features so you can’t utilize the abilities of these amazing printers. Why would all that be hidden away from users unless they are on a PC? I don’t get it… You can’t even tilt the app on the ipad because half the features disappear and you CANNOT scroll down to get to them. Have the developers actually tried using this thing? Doesn’t seem like it. Unless I’m missing a whole lot of something, I’ll change my review, but as far as I can tell, this is all but useless if you want to do anything big, or adjust the settings for better performance.

Great but…. Great printer lineup but the app on computer is so much better than the app on the phone. I can change infill design I can edit more things. But if the computer app can be merged to mobile that would make it epic. And please allow for access to printables on the app and not have to do a fake search then get printable to pull up.

Best printer for beginners. I would like to just say this is one of the best printers out there if you’re new to 3-D printing and you need a printer where it’s not difficult and too crazy to understand. I highly recommend this printer, I came across many printers as I started out in this journey of 3-D printing this printer has AI sensor with less you know if your print is not going the right way auto leveling is gold radio recording it has it all

New to 3D Printing. This is my first 3D printer to own. The app works as expected; super simple. I also like having my Mac next to the printer for some jobs if you need to fine tune some settings. But if it’s a straight forward print, the simplicity of the app from my phone is amazing.

What’s up with this?. I get the app and printer and some extra rolls of filament. We try it out, and the 3D printer has 4 different problems. I am going to get a refund, but what’s up with this?

First time 3D Printing. I’m new to 3D printing and this is my first printer purchased. Its absolutely amazing and so easy to learn. Thank you AnkerMake for such an amazing printer.

Needs TPU setting. Mostly love the app, lots of great updates. Just discovered there is no TPU preset in the app and that’s a bit annoying because it requires more than just a temp adjustment/speed setting.

The best. So easy to use great for beginners personally I’m a beginner so easy to set up. I highly recommend getting one of their printers. There is two printers in total 5C and the M5. I recommend getting the smaller one just for cheaper price and great quality. It is the little brother to the other one. Also, if you have the money to get the other one because of so many more features you can do there is a screen on it. It is amazing.

Great app and product. I purchased the AnkerMake MC5 printer. The setup was easy, and the APP is straightforward. I’ve been able to print objects from the App database with ease, only requiring a minimal amount of troubleshooting. I’ve also been able to import designs from other popular 3d printing design databases to the AnkerMake app on my PC.

Crashing. So after some tech support found out if you jailbroken or are jailbroken it will no longer work Tech support reached out and is working on a this problem, hope they can fix it. Hello the app crashes as soon as you open . iPhone 12 Pro Max 16.3.1 Only Ankermake app 1.3.1 or bellow works with this version please make it compatible or put iOS restrictions on versions

Best software of my bunch. I also own the Creality K1, and Anycubic Kobra 2 max. AnkerMake’s software is far more reliable, and user friendly than the others. Kudos for the effort! It paid off, developers!

Love it. To print something is super easy. The only issue I run into is supports. I’m still very new and I am trying to figure out how to make the supports stronger. But even when the supports fail, the print has done really well.

Nice little app. App is easy to use. Makes monitoring your print from anywhere super simple. I like that it asks for feedback when your print finishes (presumably for QC purposes and to continually refine the slicing software) I love my AnkerMake printer so much I bought a second one.

Great for a beginner. I have been wanting a 3D printer I got the ankermake m5 it is a great 3D printer I have printed about five things and all of them had great quality except for one print I tried printing the nba airless basketball and the print didn’t stick to the bed I don’t know what caused this but I did use rubbing alcohol for the bed.

AnkerMake is awesome. I’ve been using it for a few months now and I’ve been really pleased with the quality of out, but also just the simple idea of being able to 3-D print and to see an idea go from concept to creation has been really cool Their customer service is really helpful and direct. Love it!!. Able to control the printer through the app

Great printer for the price. I used to have an ender 3 pro. It was such a night mare to get a good first layer and get the z-offset right. Even with installing a bed level kit. This printer just works right out of the box. Only negative is the slightly small bed size/ print volume. Rare to have a failed print. I’m happy to see you’ve incorporated purse slicer into the desktop app. One feature that would be great is an intelligent way to scale up a print and have the slicer automatically cut it into peices that will fill the bed space. Then add them to a que for printing. Lastly the latest version has stopped the video streaming in the app. Tried deleting and reinstalling. Desktop works fine.

Decent app with 1 flaw. I like the app, it’s easy to view my prints and I can send a print from my phone. The only problem I have is when I make the camera full screen by I can’t return to the app by putting the phone portrait orientation, I have to close the app and reopen it.

Great but very big issue right now. The AnkerMake app is great it has many unique qualities compared to other printers. But it has a very big flaw for me right now. The slicer that they recently added to the app is not loading at all so the only thing my printer allows me to print is a bench which is just horrible and I cannot do anything. If anybody has a solution please tell me because this is the biggest problem I’ve had with my 3d printer

Good now, with great things to come!. Hang in there, everyone, ‘Make it Real 2.0’ is gonna blow your socks off! AnkerMake has been playing catch-up since they started their 3DP venture, but I believe they are listening to user concerns and are ironing out all the quirks and glitches we’ve experienced. They will be surpassing the game soon. There were definitely a lot of hiccups -both hardware and software related- and the app had me VERY angry at times, but the best is yet to come. Anker has been my go-to brand for tech gear and earbuds for nearly a decade; I was excited when they entered the FDM printer market. For a while there, it wasn’t looking good. The recent cancellation of the V6 color engine was devastating, but a little bird told me the soon-to-come app update is great 😉 and the new machine rumored to come out this year is supposed to be a monster. We all bought the underdog, and we’re going to be happy we did.

Extremely Beginner Friendly. This app is extremely beginner friendly. I have a friend who has years of printing experience that was amazed with how quickly I picked up on making good, high quality prints. The app makes it super easy and very user friendly to manage prints. The only thing I really had to go out of my way to learn was optimal speeds, infil, and temps for certain filaments. Other than that, it's all done for you. I highly recommend the Anker Make M5C and this app to anyone that wants to get in to the world of printing.

Best printer app I’ve ever used!. This printer is as amazing and reliable as a Japanese commuter train, I have the M5C, and it pairs seamlessly with the app, which has become absolutely phenomenal. When they launched the built-in slicer, I thought it couldn’t be improved upon, until they dropped an update to include rotation and scaling. Then the latest update dropped and it became just as beautiful as it was handy. This app makes the printer a FANTASTIC VALUE, and I can’t imagine ever using anything else. It prints at 500mm/s on “Fast”, and the prints are amazing. On “Precision” it still prints 5x faster than I could EVER successfully print on my old printer, and the resolution is MIND-BLOWING. The layer-lines are indiscernible at arm’s length, and the strength is amazing.

Great app but…. It’s a great app! I’m so glad I’m able to watch my print from my phone and all that if I’m not home. However, I do wish that there is a pop-up to ask if you are sure about canceling a print. I accidentally canceled a pretty hefty print because I had accidentally started the print again when I was too low on filament as I need to wait for more to come in tomorrow. I’m pretty upset about that, but at the same time thankful because the bottom part of the print wasn’t my favorite so i can fix that now. But I’m still bummed that I messed it up.

This app is great!. I just got my Ankermake M5 like 1 month ago as a gift for getting good grades, and so far i love it! And it only made spaghetti once so its a really good printer.

Great app but with 1 flaw. Not seeing Timelapses in the app even after enabling it for M5 printer in the app settings. Even tried keeping the printer turned on for almost an hour after print job is done to allow time for the app to show the timelapse video but it didn’t work.

Good for Basics. The app works pretty well for general basics and print monitoring on my phone but desperately needs a few minor updates. I general refuse to start any prints from the app because it doesn’t provide the estimated filament usage, automatic deal breaker. The app also just flat out doesn’t work on iPad in landscape…which effectively makes it a dealbreaker for print monitoring on that device.

Easy to use, super portable. App and software work great. Maintenance is super easy with step by step pictures and all of the tools included with the printer

Amazing gift for my 10 year old. My son wanted a 3D printer so badly for his 10th bday. I researched a ton for something easy to use but still a “real” 3D printer, not just made for kids. He could use the printer and app right away, and he loves it! The app is so easy to use, as is the step by step instructions on the ankermake website

I sold my Enders. I love my AnkerMake so much that I sold my Enders because it was obvious I was never going back. I notice in app I can’t always find exactly what I’m looking for, but if I go to a file that’s on printables I can search more files and they load straight in. It would be nice to have a button that can take me straight to the website to browse. I also wish I could upload files from other sites from my phone to the app, but I just use my computer for that part. Overall I have zero regrets and have been more than pleased with this printer

Not quite capable. Can’t quite figure out how to print from my device. I guess you can only print if plugged into the printer?

The slicer. Love my AnkerMake printer and the software is super easy to use..however if I download a file that needs to be rotated you can’t do it on the app. Unless I’m missing it. That’s my only gripe, if I could edit the files before slicing it I’d give it a 5*.

Great App!. Great app but still have some ideas for the app itself. 1. You can be able to turn on the printer itself from the app. 2. Be able to open pdfs on the app… the printer/app thinks that it’s a model but is actually instructions to assemble the project Still think it’s a good app but some improvements to be made.

Cannot connect. Tried various times and cannot connect to either of my M5’s

iOS. Is there no way to send files to my printer from my phone? Also smwould be nice to be able to drop files into the printers memory from network.

App stopped allowing downloads. Out of nowhere, the app stopped, allowing downloads. I tried to print an item from the Pursa store but it won’t connect to AnkerMake m5 printer.

Best 3D printer. The year I’ve had my printer, I never had any problems.

The more they update it the worse it gets. AI used to tell me things weren’t right. Now it doesn’t. (Of course the last update they shut it off and I just found the setting). Used to be able to watch video, never a problem. Now I get an error message -3 every time. I like it as a slicer, though I do wish it had a plane tool to cut big objects into parts for printing.

Can’t find printer. I’m giving it a 1 star only because, I have a iPhone 14 Pro and I can’t connect to my printer through Bluetooth; I’ve tried my I pads also still nothing. So I thinking maybe it’s just a app bug so hopefully you guys can look into it. Thank you I’m really looking forward to seeing how this thing works.

Recent improvements are stellar. I went on a printing hiatus for several months and came back to find that y'all have polished the heck out of this app. Info is where I expect it to be. I can make quick, important changes to my print (z-offset! Yay!) and the app responds immediately. The UI is concise and intuitive. Thank you!

Great for first time user. Excellent user interface.. This is a great little printer and the software is fantastic.Have never operated a 3D printer before and it couldn’t have been easier. After delivery of filament, I printed 10 items the first day. Works great. Highly recommended.

Fairly utilitarian & needs iPad support. The app provides some very basic monitoring and temperature adjustment functionality, device details, and not much else. It also doesn’t scale or use any of the additional screen resolution on an iPad. When turned to portrait orientation, the upscaled iPhone app sometime appears in the top right corner of the iPad, rather than the center of the display.

New app with lots of improvement needed. Timelapses don’t work, ran a print with the button turned on and nothing saved, the option says to “disable Timelapses” which is confusing because it should just say on/off and not have what seems like an option to “turn on” disabled timelapses, when I try to toggle it now it just says “save error” and doesn’t change it, the printer constantly throws false positive printing errors and in the app I saw an option to click if it was a false positive but then never saw it again despite having dozens of false print errors, if they can fix these issues I’ll change my rating Update: unsure of what changed but Timelapse’s automatically record now, camera AI however failed to detect a print failure that completely fell off the bed, updating rating from 3 to 4 stars

Great app. Really liking the app as well as the M5 printer. iPad support would be nice but the best thing would be if we could get Slicer support on the M1 iPad Air and Pro models. Other than that feedback I think the app is good.

A few more features then I think this will be the best 3d printing app. They need to add 3mf and other types of files. I also think that they could make a shortcut on your lockscreen or something so you could see how long until your print is finished
