Worked fine until UI update. I have been using this wallet for a couple years now with zero issues. But recently since the new user interface was updated, I cannot send BTC out to any address. Throws an error “send error” “something went wrong” “try again”. I tried signing out, uninstall and reinstall and still can’t send bitcoin out. The “link to coinbase” feature also doesn’t work since I set up 2FA, so I can’t even send funds to Coinbase to sell or send to new wallet! Also, when you unlock with a passcode, it unlocks initially but if you leave the app and come back to it, it stays unlocked and doesn’t require passcode for entry. The app should ask for passcode any time the app is closed or another app is opened to maximize security like it was before the major update. There are some bugs that need to be fixed and I hope one of them allows me to send BTC soon!

Eats eth every chance it gets. I’m no noob when it comes to defi but I thought I might enjoy trying out Coinbase wallet for investing. What a mistake I converted some eth to Susd to invest and then tried to use the app to lend. Which I’ve done successfully using other wallets and other scenarios, but I wanted to use the mobile app to do it this time. Well it ate my eth three times. I got canned answers from support and chat would not resolve it either. I keep being told that it is an issue with miner fees and i can adjust that. Well no you can’t. There is no place in the wallet app for iPhone where you can adjust the miners fees.. either you have enough for gas or you don’t. This is an issue with the app and Not an issue with anything else. If i had the option to choose higher fees to feed the transaction I would have done so but it doesn’t exist. I keep going round and round with support that gives the same answers that is not correct.. I’ve explained in full detail what the user experience is and I get the same answer .. which is not available to do… again I’m no stranger to how this is supposed to work and it doesn’t work properly and they are more interested in explaining rather than fixing. I want my fees back because Coinbase wallet sets you up for a failed transaction.. then tries to say you didn’t do it correctly.. I’d rather just use another app instead

Scam. I’ve been trying to collect my funds off this app since February 2024. The representative informed me to remove the app and sign on again. When I tried to sign on it asked me for a recovery phrase. I wasn’t informed you have to keep the recovery phrase to reinstall the app. The representative then told me she didn’t tell me to remove the app and without the recovery phrase she couldn’t help me. However, when you sign up for the wallet it gives you a recovery phrase. You do not choose your own. Therefore, I cannot recover the wallet. She disputed that she never asked me to remove the app. I asked to speak with a supervisor, she stated the supervisor was unavailable. I asked how do you know when you haven’t reached out or contacted one. She stated she I am unable to get a supervisor on the line . You can call and speak to another representative. The other representative read her notes and responded the same way. My funds are on the blockchain system increasing and decreasing daily without allowing me to retrieve my funds. This wallet should be investigated with the Federal Trade Commission.

Standards. I am a new customer to coinbase I would NOT recommend Coinbase EVER…. There standard practice is… To put your money on a ten day hold, that is not told to you on the front end… You have to WAIT 10 days before even using it for your transaction! Unlike Cashapp! You put your money in and you can purchase immediately! Then if you have the experience I had while your money is sitting in the hold pattern! You ask for them to return your money they can’t do that because of there standards of the hold! In the meantime your money is fluctuating during this hold! Like mine decreasing tremendously! And my account gets hacked, so I have to lock the account! Then you have to go through a 24-48 hour restriction to get in the account! Multiple phone calls later still can’t get my money back in my account! There are no supervisors on staff you have to go through generated emails to get your account unlocked! I have been trying to get my money back into my account for almost a month now and it still hasn’t happened! Because all they can tell me is it’s there standards! It’s BS….

Updated Review. I had previously left a negative review on this wallet and since then things have changed. The main issue was my fault, and not theirs, from my ignorance of not knowing the wallet inside and out. They contacted me today and finally helped me solve a couple of issues. I apologized to them and also explained i just regret the process took so many months to be solved, but i realize this could all be due to the covid situation that has affected many companies services overall. But all in all a great wallet and wish i did not transfer all of my funds out of the wallet due to this misunderstanding. I highly recommend them.

These some crooks. So I used the Wallet​ plus the app Coinbase added it in my bank account to have it transferred to my bank account and they sent it to my bank with the $25 fee but I didn’t pick the wire transfer. I use plaid and it’s still chose a wire transfer so I tested it out 31 something to my bank account and only receiving six dollars and some change contact the customer support about the issue and all they kept talking about was oh it cost this much for a wire transfer well once again I told you I did not pick the wire transfer. I picked plaid like I’ve always done on all my other wallets and accounts they did not resolve the issue so that I deleted my account and I am filing legal action against this company just like many have done before I have a copy of every message that I’ve had with customer service and I am going to use that because clearly they do not pay attention nor value the people who uses their service. If you are using any Coinbase service, I suggest you stop and get MetaMask because they are more dependable and can guarantee that you get all of your funds and that they go to the correct place.

BEWARE!! Know what a “Watch Wallet”. I was new to the crypto world did not understand what a Watch wallet is thought I had over $40,000 in a real wallet simply because I did not understand the difference in a real wallet versus a watch wallet. These types of crypto scams are getting people every day in the millions. If you were working with an investment traitor, be very careful this is how I got scammed. It seems so simple because you download the app yourself log into it formulate your two factor orientation and I thought my funds were there and yet that investor has never released my funds and I’ve lost over $40,000. and I’m not one that usually falls for something like this. It happened very quickly. I felt safe because it was a Coinbase wallet and yet I still got completely scammed. Not Coinbase fault but because the technology allowed for a watch wallet, it also allowed for me to lose so much.

User friendly, still not worth it. Where do I begin… I have used many different crypto trading platforms and Coinbase has no doubt proven its worth over the others. I’ve been getting more into NFT trading and as you all know Coinbase doesn’t trade those yet. Today I went to make my first transfer from my Coinbase account to my Coinbase wallet and everything was running smooth until I found the money I just put in was sent to a random address 4 minutes later. Weird, I know. I went to track the address my money was sent to and under the comments section there were about 15 other people claiming that their Coinbase wallet was hacked by this same individual. I’m talking thousands of dollars worth of money/crypto gone. Although Coinbase has an easy to use interface and is user friendly, I don’t recommend it due to my experience with its poor security. You don’t think phishing/scamming is possible until it happens to you. Do yourself a favor and find a different wallet.

Wallet as a service is great. Love it and will now use trade fi to invest in Coin because of the values and vision of Brian and devs like Jessie. Only 4 stars as still not as EZ to use as a 79 year old as it needs to be. The Quest was listed as 2 minutes for 2 OP 2 days and at least 20 failed attempts until you added the feature fund from a different wallet and I was able to fund from meta mask on Optimism network as required. Could not easily search and find my original delegated voter from the drop so scrolled forever to find a friend with power of 10 OP as a delegate now apparently have 2 delegates voting for me? Maybe the new one supersedes the old one. Very unclear. I know I am old and too early but I am the future customer of your dreams according. A grandfather to make your apps and DeFi EZ to use for not a grandmother, she is probably even more difficult to please than I am.

Coinbase Wallet Quest ETH network deceiving. Just want to make others aware of an issue that may happen when attempting to complete the promoted quests within the Coinbase Wallet. When starting a quest within your wallet it will prompt you to “add ETH on OP, Base, Polygon etc” in order to complete a quest. A button will pop up & ask you to add ETH, if you click the button it will automatically bring you to the ETH asset. THIS IS NOT ETH ON L2. This will automatically purchase & send ETH Mainnet to your wallet. DO NOT TRUST THE AUTOMATED POP UP THAT CB HAS SET UP. I suggest to go over to Coinbase Exchange yourself and purchase ETH, then you can switch networks when sending over to you wallet. The automated purchase & send set up by CB will not do this & will cost you money in network fees. CB will also not assist you in resolving this even though it’s a glitch on their automated purchase button in wallet….or at least the app should ask what network you need prior to it automatically sending from your exchange account to you wallet.

Missing transfers and 14 Day Holds. Really used to love the user experience on Coinbase but these last two weeks for myself and a lot of people in our group. Chat has been much of the same, very, very, very frustrating. we all had put on our account when we tried to simply buy $SOL so that could quickly buy a new alt coin that was going parabolic and 10 X the price. Cost me up to $9000 by not being able to transfer the money in to Phantom wallet because of a 14 day hold they put on the purchased. I can’t even cash out. It just says I don’t have any and told me to buy more so I did buy more and then they put a hold on that too. Can’t make this up. Also and even worse I sent a transfer from Phantom wallet to Coinbase wallet for $1200 worth of $JENNER and it just shows that there was a transfer for zero dollars. The ticker is moving up fast and I have no idea if I need to buy more or if I have some that’s waiting to show up or what but for my favorite crypto user experience app, I’m certainly proving myself wrong at this point. your stock went from $40-$220. We suggest you get it together.

Do Not Use. Most of these reviews are bots. This app in idea is really really cool and you have probably heard all the good things about it, well what you don’t hear is the gigantic amount of issues this app has. First is the fees, now 5-8$ is no big deal but this app brings fees to a whole new level. Personally I transferred 500 in shib to my wallet, after six days of emails ( no in person customer support 100% email and it’s automated.) I finally was able to transfer the remaking 232, yea 232. I had to buy eth to transfer my money( not required to put on the wallet) 45$ worth was my original miner fee but had to pay 21$ in upfront fees then another 32$ to transfer to wallet. Then the transaction is was and I’m not mailing this up”failed” and all the eth was taken as a charge. I am not kidding do I had to rebuy eth transfer it and this the miner fee was more then previous. It cost me almost 200$ to take my money off this app after fees . Second your money is not safe( miner fee) you can your fee and the transaction fail and coin wallet is not responsible for replacing your fee. Yes you can Pay 30-70$ miner fee the transaction fail and your out that money. Maybe in the future this will be a good way to store coins and build Interest but at the moment it is a money Pitt.

Overrated and Poorly Maintained App. Seriously, how is this even more than three stars? I might understand if you live in the Coinbase ecosystem, but even then, there are glitches. For about three months, I couldn't transfer from Coinbase to Coinbase Wallet, always getting the same error. I explained this to support a few times, and they said they were working on it. Setting aside first-party integrations, which you'd expect to work 100% of the time, doing other activities such as swapping tokens or making mobile transfers are also glitchy. I couldn't convert ETH to WETH on Sushiswap from my desktop without seeing an infinite spinning wheel calculating fees on iOS. There is a three-month-old Reddit thread with the same issue. The only redeeming factor is that many popular dapps like OpenSea, integrate with Coinbase Wallet, albeit imperfectly.

Use this if you want to lose your ETH to miners in failed transactions. I lost my ETH three times in a row due to failed transactions when attempting to send crypto to coinbase. I contacted coinbase and there is no way to get it back. This app is a scam or at best it doesn’t work properly causing users to lose their crypto. I am unable to get my crypto back to coinbase because this app keeps stealing my gas fees and failing to send. Update: I do not have my case number, I deleted the email I received weeks ago. I was finally able to transfer my USDC to coinbase. I tried and lost money on gas fees multiple times before it finally worked. I had to fund my ETH wallet four times and lost most of it. I have not experienced this ever before using other internet-based wallets and hardware wallets. Normally when I submit a transfer on the Ethereum network it goes. This is the first time I have had a transfer fail multiple times and take Ethereum gas fees every time. So this leads me to believe this is a problem with Coinbase Wallet and not the Ethereum network. This amounts to stealing peoples crypto and throwing it into Ethereum gas fees and providing nothing in return. This issue needs to be fixed, this is not right.

Some great improvements BUT…. I really want to thank you the Coinbase wallet Devs listened to the need to improve on things I previously reviewed critiquing about. That made me so happy. Although there was a concern I wanted to bring up… Why is there no search bar when you press the blue “receive crypto/NFT” button at the top like Trust Wallet has always had?? Secondly, why when I go to the Coinbase app —> tap Trade at the bottom of the screen and search cryptos like Bone it says to buy on Coinbase wallet app. But when I go there’s no where I can find it if i want to buy Bone & 2 other tokens. In the Coinbase wallet I tap buy —> tap “connect with Coinbase/Cb wallet—> “select asset to add” I still can’t find Bone, Bulldog Billionaires & one other token. Why can you search & find it on Coinbase but is difficult to find in Cb wallet like you can easily do on Trust Wallet?? I do like the fact that you can choose a speed when sending a particular crypto in Coinbase wallet cause that’s not as common on other External hot wallets! It’s just very frustrating for the moment but I hope you can understand. Glad you’re working on users issues we’re experiencing. Your close to earning a 5 star review just don’t give up! Switch to MetaMask!!!!!. It’s a an alright app. Just the fees and the fact I can’t sign in to my account. I had switched to a new phone, and everytime I touch the “I already have a wallet” it’s just loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads. Until you hit create a new Wallet and it’s full speed ahead. But hitting the i latest have a wallet is not working. For a company which charges a lot of fees for certain things you would think they wouldn’t have problems with you signing back in. Can anyone help? And still no help? No fix off this bug even after updating , deleting,restarting my phone and re downloading the app. I have money stuck there and I lost opportunities on certain nfts all because it just wants to load..moment I find my old phone I’m going to try get my money out, and DELETE this wallet! And go to MetaMask

Massive potential, but basic features missing. Broken on iOS 15. Coinbase wallet EASILY has the potential to be 100x better than the dumpster trash metamask app which crashes every 15 seconds, however it is missing some extremely basic features such as setting gas price for transactions. I don’t understand how the devs could have left this out as it is the single most basic and simple feature an app like this has to have. Without it it’s literally unusable for 99% of crypto activities as your transactions will never go thru in time using recommended gas prices. ALSO, after upgrading to iOS 15 this app has a massive bug where it logs you out of your wallet 5 times a day with a “biometrics updated” message, which is not true. Devs, please fix this extremely annoying bug and add the missing basic features so this app is usable.

Scared to update. I am absolutely terrified to update this Coinbase wallet. With the latest update to the Coinbase app, the app itself stopped working altogether and you guys have done absolutely nothing to fix it even after I did everything you told me, it still doesn’t work. I am now refusing to update for plain fear of it not working anymore after I do. Actually I’ve already moved my funds over to Binance and will continue to do business there. Maybe if you guys upped your quality control and made sure stuff worked before you sent it out into the world, and maybe if you’d stop pretending like it’s our fault the app doesn’t work. It worked fine until the update, it hasn’t worked since. I did everything you told me to do, like uninstall and reinstall, etc. and it STILL doesn’t work. I turned the cookies on in my settings, still doesn’t work. I didn’t sign up for this, I thought you guys had it together. I was wrong. Update: This is the same generic response the developer gave me before, “We recommend you uninstall and reinstall the app.” Yes, yes I already tried that exactly like you guys suggested before and it didn’t work. Now you are telling me to do it again, and this is exactly why you just lost a customer, because I cannot get any real help from anyone, all I get is the runaround, plus after you guys flagged my account for suspicious activity I am so absolutely done with you people.

Losing faith. Yesterday I sent two transactions from a different t wallet to my Coinbase Wallet. Neither has arrived even though support for the sending wallet looked into it right away and let me know it has been sent properly. Support for CB Wallet responded with a ticket number, but a day later my money is still missing. To make matters worse, I sit made a (thankfully) small sale on CB Pro. I sold 50 coins, but my sale only shows 39.1 were sold, and that the wallet for that coin is now empty. ??? Where are the rest of the coins??? I have not had any issues with any of the CB platforms since I began using them. It’s incredibly concerning that 3 transactions in less than 24 hours have not gone as they should. Definitely concerned about moving anything else and I’m losing faith in CB. If these issues are taken care of I will update my review according to the support I receive. But this is concerning. Update: the two transactions finally did arrive. The other issue with CB Pro has been ignored for weeks now. Every now and then I get an email and then no follow through. Now today I’ve been trying to convert one coin for another on CB Wallet, and for over an hour it’s been telling me “Something went wrong; try again later”. Will never add anything more to this wallet.

Clean, Easy to Use and Beautiful UI. I began my journey into crypto about a year ago. I needed a place to start. My spouse introduced me to their friend. I began talking and learning the basics. I was overwhelmed. Coinbase was the first application I was show . It was easy to navigate, trade, concert and buy crypto. I bought my first $20 of crypto currency. Not a big deal. It is easy to transfer with low gas fees and miner fees. The place to go to cash out your crypto into your bank. Signing up and going through identification and vetting process is easy and quick. Coinbase has rewards for watching videos and taking quizzes. I suggest you do them, you can acquire up to $50 in crypto currency alone. Not a bad deal. Clean design, easy on the eyes, pleasant to navigate and makes your first crypto experience calm.

DONT DO IT ! Customer Support doesn’t support. Wallet is pretty standard. You can move coins into wallet for a fee. ETH gas isn’t the problem. NEVER EVER EVER NEVER STAKE ON THIS WALLET. Website says you can withdraw at anytime. Not true. It’s the old bait and switch. Once you stake you will receive an error message that says can not calculate miner fee. Also will change the interest rate on you instantly. Contact customer support. They will send a canned response asking for more info then go silent because they don’t know what is happening. For a public traded company that handles fiat currency they should really open phone support. And I know what the vets will say. It’s crypto so just be prepared to lose it. But there are alternatives out there that practice what they preach and deliver. This wallet is not one of them. I wonder since they are on the stock exchange if the FTC would look into them now. I may just try it. What do I have to lose since I have already lost. I will report back my findings. Good Luck fellow crypto adventurers and be safe out there !

Really horrible and pointless app. Man this app used to be good never the best though but I have it a shot anyways. Was using it everyday and sent my tokens here. Now I’m missing all my tokens! That’s not even the worst part, is I can no longer send ethereum out anymore. I feel like gas price is so low that even sending $5 worth of eth doesn’t process so now I’m just stuck in a pending cycle and the wallet never sends out. One other big issue is I like the icon for wallet #5 where you can go and select after going to the advanced settings. Since I have been using wallet 5 whenever I try to import the wallet elsewhere the backup only brings back wallet 1. So I cannot import the most important wallet which has all my ethereum and without changing the gas price my eth is still stuck in this garbage wallet. Customer service doesn’t even help out. They ignore my messages and I know it’s because they don’t have a resolution to my issue and that is because the developer would have to fix it. I am so disappointed and upset with coinbase wallet let alone coinbase themselves. Really horrible company to do business with.

Channeling my anger. This apps great for a easy way to send crypto to a wallet almost like you’re using zelle to move money from account to account. However, they do a magnificent job at slowing down whatever you’re trying to do and second guessing if you did something wrong with “error determining mining fee”’s “unable to process transaction”’s and “address not a real address”’s. They like you to put your crypto in your new wallet and figure out their standard of business as you try to act on your digital wallet. And don’t try to get in contact with their support team or you’ll end up with irrelevant how to use crypto articles that don’t address any complaints directly. Would’ve gave 1 star but wanted my input to be seen by more people, so I complimented y’all on what you push in the video you see as soon as you visit the website. Smdh

Was scammed the first transaction. I just read a review on how a person was scammed on eth and I thought I did something wrong like put the wrong address in since it was my first transaction about 2 years ago and noticed that one of my main accounts that had $15 dollars in 3 different cryptos is gone. I have tried to get help on this and another card since mine was cancelled after they saw something on my account that wasn’t right, but yet to receive a replacement card and this was in July of 2023. I have called 5 times for a replacement since and have not used this account since then. They did on the other hand have the best way to earn crypto by tutorials and have to say I was very thankful for that, but see now that is not being offered anymore. Send a test transaction first for a few dollars before sending a large amount just to be safe.

It’s great if you like jumping through hoops and the runaround. It is very difficult to navigate maybe just when you’re new to it like I am I googled where to buy Freedom, coin and it said Coinbase so I set up account and it tells me freedom coin is only available on Coinbase walletSo I set that up and then it tells me it’s only available through another crypto, so I get my money put thereAnd three freedom coins come up and One had about 37 trades and another one a very small amountSo I decided I was tired of jumping through hoops Another crypto popped up that maybe I was interested in but then it said I needed to get install eToro so I started installing that and it froze on me when I put my social security number in because apparently the website thinks I don’t know what my Social Security number is I wanted to get my money back and Go somewhere else, and it was stuck there for two days.I think I’m finally about to get my money back well some of it because it cost me each time I moved it and I’m in the middle of it now we’ll see . Lost Most Of My Assets. Be very careful if you’re new to crypto. I started doing the Optimism quests. Since I really know nothing about crypto I followed each task delicately. Then, I got to the last part which is staking. I did everything that it said to do and I also staked a little bit of my savings as well. When it was time to pull the money out I sent it to my optimism address on Coinbase. Apparently, that is the wrong thing to do because I was supposed to unstake first. As a result I lost that asset which included a little chunk of my savings. It honestly wasn’t a lot but it goes a long way for my family. There definitely needs to be some protections for the consumer when it comes to this. Coinbase is an exchange that’s supposed to be beginner-friendly. The optimism quest for staking shouldn’t be advertised if someone can lose their assets like I did within a blink of an eye. All the other optimism quests were fun and informative until I got to the staking which is what ultimately made me lose most of my assets. Coinbase has been so good to me in my journey with crypto until now.

Miners fee. So at first thought to give this app a chance, because I’ve been using Coinbase app for some time. After installing it and transferring some btc to this wallet what already was strange, why I can’t just have same wallet as on Coinbase, synchronized. So btccame to this wallet and I realized there is nothing more else I can do with them after that, only transferring from account to account with a MINERS FEE that looks like 200% of transaction to me(tried to transfer 7$ from USDC back to my wallet and it said fee will be ≈14,50$, before it I tried to withdraw my btc back 10$ and fee was ≈21$). Also you can grow your money there APR, but not BTC, that’s why I mentioned USDC, because you can earn interest on them, so I tried this feature and guess what miners fee was there… from 7$ it become 74(only fee), so now for me it’s dead end situation, because to get those money back I need to put more and pay a fee or forget about them and delete app. So the second option looks more likely my choice, hope my review will help someone before they download it. It doesn’t work and fees are astronomical. Fees are absolutely through the roof just to transfer Ether or Bitcoin into it. Then you’ll learn you can’t trade Bitcoin for anything. So you’ll pay more fees to put it back in Coinbase. Then you’ll pay more high fees to put ether in, and then you’ll learn that fees (allegedly paid to miners not Coinbase) to buy stuff with ether is like 100% to 200% of the price of what you wanted to buy - yes, 100 to 200% in fees. Then, when you foolishly pull the trigger on it, it will sit there and load and load and load and never complete the transaction: this has happened 5 times now with several different attempts on different things. So now I guess I’ll pay those big fees again just to put that ether back in Coinbase where I can do something, anything, with it. This is a pure rip off. If this is the future of currency, we are screwed. If I had large funds sitting in here, I would really, really worry about being able to recover them. Use this app at your own risk, and since this is their business model, consider getting out of Coinbase all together.

Updated from 1 to 4 stars for prompt response. Coinbase support rapidly responded to my low graded review complaining about the app getting hung up on log in and displaying blank screen. Very much appreciated as this quick and understanding response is unheard of these days. CB’s response below: “Thank you for the report, we are actively working on this issue still. You should be get yourself out of this state if you uninstall and reinstall the app. You should only do that however if you have your recovery phrase backed up either manually or via iCloud. If you are uncertain of your backup state, best to wait for us to address the root cause. It is a top priority for us and we hope to have the resolution shortly. Appreciate your patience."

Newer. I’ve been using the wallet about a month now and I haven’t really had a problem. I haven’t found a way to “cash out” or send funds directly to my bank acct from the wallet but I don’t think that’s what it or the exchange was designed for. Remember this is a crypto wallet, so naturally the devs want your funds to remain crypto. I’ve seen a lot of reviews that mention problems with transferring funds, non existent recovery phrases, and disappeared coins. I haven’t lost any coins but I did get an insufficient balance message after I tried to move funds from the Coinbase exchange to my wallet once. I had enough to cover the fee and was a little worried after reading the error but I waited for the confirmation email you get when whatever coin you buy on the exchange is available, then I tried the transfer again and it worked no problem. I suggest familiarizing yourself with the wallet and the exchange before you add funds to either. Review your recovery phrase and save it to the cloud, write it down, or commit it to memory. Familiarize yourself with the associated fees because they can add up quickly when converting, buying, or selling if you aren’t careful. Lastly, transfers to and from your wallet are not always instantaneous, but they are much faster and cheaper than traditional methods of sending and receiving funds.

Do not use. I came over to this platform because Coinbase said I needed it to buy a certain crypto. I moved about $300 to test it out. The fees are insane! You can’t trade easily. The worst part is that the app had some glitches with FaceID and now I’m completely locked out. There is a recovery phrase, that if I wrote down (what year is this?!?) I could recover my wallet with it. Unfortunately, I did not write it down because I manage my passwords very well. Unfortunately, once you enable FaceID, the app no longer recognized your passwords. It is also buggy enough that when it has the inevitable reset where you are completely locked out, you are out the cash. Glad I only lost a little, so disappointed in this app and that Apple can’t see how many Bot reviews are on it. Buyer beware, there are many other platforms that are more user friendly both in fees and security that keeps you safe, but doesn’t lock you out from your own money.

Great hot wallet app but recent update bugs are now here. This wallet is really great hot wallet i say hot wallet since it is always connected to the internet and the seed phrases (key to your crypto) is stored on your phone (meaning hackable). Even with it being a hot wallet using it for swap feature on the bnb, avax c-chain, solana, polygon, ethereum, and base network is a great thing for it. The main downside is that the recent update on october 17, 2024 introduced a bug to the wallet where now none of the ios widgets are loading up. The ios widget is a great tool if you use the gas tracker the wallet provides to tell you at a glance what the estimated USD cost it would take to swap, bridge, or send Ethereum assets (which an experienced crypto trader knows ethereum gas fees you got to time for cheap gas)

Zero stars… Over $60 of fees. I would not even give this app 1 star. It has been a bad experience from the beginning. First you would think that transferring from your regular Coinbase account to your Coinbase wallet would be fast, easy and more importantly free (since they are the same company). But you would be wrong. It was about $20 just to add coins to the wallet. Then everything you want to do with your coins once in the wallet also cost at least $20. And here is the catch, you can only pay the fee using ETH. That means if you us a coin other than ETH then you have to convert part of it to ETH to even get your money out even if the coin is part of the Ethereum network. And guess what converting will also cost you at least $20! To sum up, added funds to wallet ($20 fee) + converted funds to ETH so i can transfer the funds out of the wallet ($20 fee) + withdraw funds from the wallet ($20 fee)…. I completely waisted over $60 just to try this wallet. The app is a joke and is not beneficial at all. I would never recommend this app to anyone. I hope everyone reads this and does not waste their time and money like I did.

BEWARE!!!! No help from Support To get Funds off This App. So Nothing Else Todo But... But Now to report this App to government Attorneys crypto crimes. And Websites that report Scams . I’ve asked for assistance the platform owner that used this Coinbase wallet said they were affiliated to this app. So this app must also be apart of the crimes since their is no support for releasing funds Red Flag there is no support for issues with withdrawal of funds. The scammer said contact the app support which he knew would go in circles. So now the scammer who took lots of fees on cashapp for “trading” when time to send the investors profits had issues with cashapp. Send investors to what’s app to a scammer who have you go through over a 2 hr session which he sets up to supposedly receive your profits. But while setting up he creates a network that he tells you to click ethereum. Then send him the ethereum address. Then has you delete the network. But you won’t believe what happens he sends whats supposedly your profits that can be seen on Coinbase wallet. But when you try to with draw them They can not be withdrawn. And support on the app doesn’t help you get your funds either. It is a scam network of people starting with IG Had I received my profits I would believe they were ligitimate I believe it may be a Nigerian scam group.

Don’t use. This app has issues and from I can tell they are not able to address the issues as good as they should be. Had issue where I can send ETC, it just stays stuck of calculating fees. Looked this up and I see where people were having this issue a month ago. Now I have been given steps to double shoot and one of the things said to remove the app and reinstall with the updated version. Well the version I had is the updated version so I re installed and when I click on I already have an account (to log back in mine) all it does is showing the loading symbol but never does anything. To top it all off I had to use another brand of crypto wallet with my 12 phrase seed to try to gain access to my ETC and it’s only showing half of what I have in Coinbase wallet. Such a head ace, I will be removing Coinbase all together cause I can’t trust to to have this issue on my regular coin base account (non wallet).

Don’t even waste of time! WAY to much miner fee to transfer ANYTHING. I use coin base and it’s actually pretty goodSo I figured with it being an affiliation with it it would be as well boy was I wrong. After I finally tried to do some purchases on this I realized to even try and transfer my five dollar US coin to any other crypto they were trying to charge me a minor fee of over $300. Now my six dollars I spent is stuck on here and I can’t do anything with it so I try to just put it on to gain the little interest since it’s stuck here and even to transfer to gain interest on it was trying to charge a minor fee of over $300 once again so now my money is stuck in this wallet I cannot buy any crypto‘s or transfer it or do anything with it without paying a fee of over $300 this needs fixed ASAP please don’tDon’t be fooled into putting any money on here I can only imagine what the fees would be on a higher amount of money.

Bug won’t let you move crypto. I have had the app for a year. Worked fine up until March of 2021. As of now I am unable to send crypto off the wallet. I just get an ‘oops’ error. I have tried EVERYDAY since March to move my crypto to another exchange or wallet. Only the error message of oops or a miner fee was not able to be calculated, try again later - it’s been over 2 months. How long do I wait to touch my +10k just sitting there. YOU WILL NOT GET AN ANSWER FROM COINBASE if you have an issue. I have access to the wallet. I can add to the wallet. I CAN NOT TAKE IT OUT or CONVERT. it’s not even like Coinbase benefits. It’s just sitting there. Fix your app or get customer service. Disappointed that I won’t be able to profit from this bull run. Wouldn’t Coinbase want my fees? I waited a year and now it just sits there and taunts me. Wish Coinbase would even sent an email telling me I’m just screwed, but nothing in months is a kick in while I’m down.

Buggy. This app is buggy. It works but with an annoying bug. When you try to transfer funds from coinbase you can click “Max” which ostensibly would look at your balance, subtract/include whatever transfer fee you incur as a result, and allow you to wind up transfering the max allowable so your balance on the sending side is zero. But you cant. The max button calculates an arbitrary number larger than what you have and then prompts you to buy the coin from Coinbase. That’s not even what transfer means, it’s a bug and here's what you do to fix it: make two buttons. Buy is one button Transfer is the other. That this app has a button which offers an OR function is bad design, not user friendly, and it doesn’t work as expected and is hence, buggy. A clear option to transfer is needed, and a clear difference between buying and transferring is needed. And the transfer function needs to work properly, instead we have to type in a bunch amounts until we arrive at the magic transfer fee plus whatever we want to transfer. And then there are some pennies left over, it’s silly.

Easy to use but frustrating to swap. The interface and design makes the wallet easy to use. But it’s incredibly frustrating to swap some coins out and unless you reach out to customer support (which is a joke) you are left with questions without clear answers, confusion and frustration. It’s easy to give them your money to buy a token, but swapping can be a different story. I have a coin that I’ve been trying to swap for 2 weeks and i keep getting an error saying the transaction will likely fail. So I’m basically stuck with a valuable paper weight which I can’t use. What’s the point of accumulating coins and assets if you can’t swap or cash out? Another coin I have a shown $200 invested in, but when trying to swap full amount it is only worth .12?? What??! Very little explanation or help on the app about these issues. Maybe it’s the nature of the crytpo world/coins on CB Wallet, and I may be naive but it’s infuriating there isn’t more help on the app and ways to solve. As soon as I can get everything over to regular Coinbase or other exchange I’m never using CB wallet again.

ENS Registration, Great Browser, No Edit. Takes forever to load (iPhone 13 Pro Max), orders of magnitude longer than any other wallet apps, or any apps really. Photoshop loads faster than this. Edit: Reinstalled the app and that seems to have remedied the slowness. I was pleasantly surprised to find Coinbase registers an ENS domain for the wallet completely free. Nothing like free (useful) stuff to turnaround sentiment. The browser stands out as well done as it’s a pretty seamless and integrated experience. I docked a star because I was not able to edit the networks (or if it is possible it’s well hidden). For comparison this is easy to do with the MetaMask iOS app so no reason for such an oversight here. There are also several UX issues that detract from the overall experience. For example you can only load a profile photo from your photo albums and not the filesystem/iCloud drive. The wallet management is noticeably unfinished, with no way to import private keys or remove “address groups”.

Lost all savings. At first the app was great after accumulated crypto and was trading fine. You would log in with your faceID and they even have an option to back up your pass phrase to iCloud but be Careful. If you get logged out you will not be able to log back in without your 12 word seed phrase and the faceiD will no longer work. I think it’s a shame for a company heavily funded to develop less than standard applications. I lost a good bit of my savings so don’t fall victim to this and write your passphrase because otherwise you won’t be able to log in and no passwords will work if you forget it because got used to faceID and it’s not stored in chainlink. Anyways an Update the app would help those who can’t remember what password they used because got use to faceID logging into the app and directly your customers to write down their 12 word pass phase should help from experiencing crypto frustrations.

Convenient and easy to use. Being somewhat new to Crypto I’m grateful for the info that Coinbase provides. Their Wallet app makes it easy and convenient to keep Crypto in one’s digits wallet and empowers one to use their crypto currency and even lend it out. Lately, they added the ability to purchase NFT’s - which has been fun and awesome. I know their NFT store is still in beta; but it could use some improvements in the wallet app - like making it easier to navigate and apply filters, crash less often, actually show the owned NFT’s in the wallet vs an ugly placeholder box, and other such things. Almost think the NFT store should be a separate app. Anyways, enjoying everything but the fees and security on the app is top notch (and guessing that’s why the fees exist).

Great app, new feature request. I really love this app, so good job to the developers. I was a metamask person for about three years but finally moved almost entirely over to Coinbase Wallet. I have a small suggestion for a new feature. I get like 20 spam/fraud message requests per day. I know I can just ignore them, but sometimes I take the time to open each one and block and report it. I can see at a glance that all the messages are fraudulent, so my suggestion is to enable a feature to select multiple or all messages at once and let you decide whether to delete, block, block and report, etc. Thanks for your time and for making such a good quality crypto wallet.

Makes my phone EXTREMELY hot! (Edit- RESOLVED). Title says it all. After a few seconds of opening the app my phone starts to get very hot. It’s very strange and concerning for battery health and phone lifespan. Please fix the overheating issues. Otherwise the app is very clean and functional. Does what it should. But for now I will not be using it until the overheating issues are fixed. EDIT: Since posting this review I’m not sure what has changed. I stopped using the app for a while and there have been updates since I posted the review. But the issue seems to be resolved. My phone no longer gets excessively hot when using the app. Thanks Coinbase!

Scam!!. I tried to withdraw my funds since January 2024. And I been paying my gas fee for at least 5 times and trying to link my bank account to my Coinbase wallet for 3 different banks. It almost 5 months. My funds were still in my wallet. First time , the support tell me , my linking bank rejected my funds. And I was told to link another bank, and I tried to withdraw again. The support told me is the linking bank was business account so it doesn’t work.. I asked the support which bank is Crypto currency’s friendly and they told me Chase bank is one of them. I quickly open Chase account and try to withdraw again ,they told me my funds so big and my Chases bank op out from my account . Each time I have to pay for gas fee, I end up lost so much money from the gas fee. Now the support told me I need to withdraw the smaller amount, and pay gas fee again my gas fee is add up over $20,000. I wish I don’t have to open my Coinbase wallet. This is the first time experience for me. Again, I still not withdraw any money form my wallet to my bank account yet . I wish the support to tell me what I can do or not before my withdraw to my account, so I don’t have to pay so many gas fee. It make me feel like they try to do that so they can collect all my gas fee. not recommend this app to anyone, Because I don’t want them to have to go through like I did. And I still thinking , IT IS A SCARY SCAM APP

Alright... Coinbase has always been a grate app. Very easy to use interface and very intuitive when it comes to its design. Aside from it being very easy to use, the only complain I have is that they seem to be lying about they fees. Specifically when converting from one cryptocurrency to another. For example today I had an amount of 256 in bitcoin and when I decide to convert to tether they said it would be a 2.50 cent fee which is okay and I accepted. But after the transfer was complete and look at my tether balance I only have a balance of 248 which I don’t understand, there is no other fee included and I converted to a stable coin so they’re shouldn’t be such a difference. Which they could just be upfront and honest about the cost i would still probably go ahead through with it but it makes it that much harder to trust them and even make sense if you account balance and transactions when trying to trade.

Complete TRAP STAY AWAY. There were coins I was interested in Coinbase that you couldn’t buy with cash, but the option if “buy with your Coinbase wallet is there”. That makes you think that it’s possible through that way.. As soon as I transferred I was hit with a miner fee from technically the same platform that cut a third from my funds. Once i was there the coins they show and I wanted where still not available, but here’s the worst part… now my money stuck there. Can’t trade it or covert it, cause minors fees are either more or a dollar less than what I have.. can’t cash out because minors fees are more than the couple hundreds I have in there.. They literally corner you and Jack your money.. if your néw even though when you winning Coinbase magically stops working, but at least after the whales pull their loot you still can have access to take your money out instantly and have some fun day trading… Coinbase wallet on the other hand is a scam that I was ultimately led to from Coinbase under false pretenses… Have fun on Coinbase, stay away from the wallet cause your money will eventually get trapped. Stay blessed people!

Support. I would recommend live support phone or chat with someone to communicate with. Would also recommend a bit more information on the process of all the possible transactions. This isn’t the pro app so more info and easier to access. Robo support has hard time clarifying the issue. I would recommend the app , it really is good. I’m trying not to mix up the app review with the coinbase support. Coinbase should definitely have customer service for us with the amount of revenue they generate. It would be cost effective because they would not loose customers do to inadequate support for the volume that they have to handle, we all are new at some level with crypto trades and if I lost all my coin for lack of information I would be outraged. Public traded company and I have an investment with the company as well as a account. Market share is going to be critical on the months to come and I don’t want the company to loose traction with all crypto trade sites popping . NOT SAFE!!!. I also lost all, but $0.80 cents worth of BTC a few weeks ago from my Coinbase Wallet. I checked my phone and there are no signs of hacking. I am also very careful with my information and there were no signs of hacking whatsoever. The strange thing is that the amount transferred out of my wallet requested an amount well above my available BTC. Nevertheless, Coinbase Wallet approved the transaction anyway and all my BTC, minus $0.80 cents worth was left in the wallet. Supposing that I was hacked, how is it even possible for any wallet or blockchain to approve a transaction higher than the amount available???? I submitted a request for investigation to Coinbase who said that the transaction was done from my device, but they failed to explain how a transaction higher than the amount available was even allowed to happen. I requested a review of their findings and I am waiting for their reply. There is something fishy going on here, a glitch of some sort and Coinbase is not owning it. THIS WALLET IS NOT SAFE. I am looking for another one.

Bad UX, No Customer Support, Terrible Wallet. I’m someone that has tested most of the crypto wallets on the market and the Coinbase wallet is one of the worst! It’s set up in a way that makes it very easy to lose your money by sending it to the currency’s contract address. It’s a poorly laid out design, with bad UX (user experience). And lastly, there is absolutely no customer support or care from Coinbase if you have any issues. I have been with Coinbase for eight years and have been completely ignored recently when I had an issue with the wallet. Furthermore, the chat support they do have is just a bot and you have to repeatedly request a real person before you can speak to someone, and even when you can, you are cut off multiple times automatically after a few minutes, even if you’re waiting for the Coinbase representative to respond to something you’ve said. Due to my recent issues with this wallet and queen bases, complete disregard for customer service, I will no longer use their exchange. I would urge everyone reading this to look at other options as well.

Was a great platform?. This was a good platform until recently. The updating of user names and the sub domain terms has rendered me unable to access my account, as there is no way to accept the update , no submit button showing! And no way to get any help/ support😞very disappointed now!

Thieves. Transferred money into Coinbase wallet from Coinbase and then could not make any transactions due to “miner calculation errors”. Submitted a ticket for them to fix, and the next day all my money gone. Numerous requests for assistance and phone calls over many weeks and not one response from them. Do not use.

Too much in fees. You have to pay too much in transaction costs and mining fees for everything you do. Most of the time the fees are even larger than the amount you want to transfer or convert. I’d sent some USDC and can’t do anything with it. It’s stuck there. Useless and disappointing.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I literally just made the account, fully verified only for it to be restricted FOR NO REASON. I contacted support NO REPLY. My limits cannot be increased because it got rejected BUT GUESS WHAT I was never given nor have I seen the option to increase my limits, SO HOW WAS I REJECTED. SCAM! Plain & Simple. Wanted to get into trading so I downloaded the Coinbase app. Turns out you can buy as much as you like but because I’m in Australia I can’t sell any. Then I get prompted to download the wallet and transfer the coins there. Now I can’t even trade them for something else. Lost all the money, just watching it sit there dropping with the market not being able to sell it. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR COINBASE

Scam. Wish I had read the reviews before downloading the app. Deposited $10,000 via a contact from LinkedIn. Was then told I had been ‘selected’ to receive profit from a fund and the money was taken from the wallet and put into the fund. Now after countless requests to return my money, am being ignored and the account has been locked. The wallet should not allow any funds to remove your money without your authorization. Apple should not allow these kind of activities to occur under their noses and are culpable. I notice good reviews receive a reply, this app should be shut down before anyone else loses their money.

Difficult. I think this is the most difficult way to make payments and to have it take money from your balance is utterly ridiculous just to make the payment methods worse could they make it any harder to understand I don’t like it I don’t think I’ll ever use it again if it wasn’t fir the site I was trying to purchase from saying it’s the only form of payment they’d receive I wouldn’t of even tried this method

If you were recommended this app by Coinbase like me, please be sure to read the latest reviews if you don’t believe these people behind the app are scum. They bought fake 5 star reviews online and got all the developers to leave fake 5 star reviews. The number of reviews about people being stolen their money are revolting.

Worst Wallet BRD migration nightmare. Was a user of BRD. They shut that down and asked me to switch to Coinbase Wallet. Fine. When i entered the seed it looks like the btc i had from BRD is now missing. In the previous version of coinbase wallet there was a feature to scan legacy address where i was able to access the btc but looks like in the new that feature is now gone. How could you have handled the migration in such a horrible way I dont know. Coinbase needs to hire new devs.

App locked me out and no customer support. The app suddenly didn’t recognise my fingerprint biometric and has locked me out. It asks for a 12 word recovery phrase which I do not have. There seems to be no way to activate the biometric again. There is no customer support to ask. I would appreciate assistance to recover my money.

Responsiveness. I’m on an iPhone 7 and some of the buttons are slow to respond. Even as I write this review some odd things are occurring.

My account was locked unreasonably. !!!!!!Please help me!!!!!! I was informed that my account was suspected as money laundering, so the company locked my account and transferred all my USDT into somewhere. But all my USDT were bought and transferred from Binance. My funds can be proved by bank. I’ve decided to call the police, and informed the customer service. The police and the bank can prove my money is legal, however, the customer service didn’t unlock my account and warned me that my account would be cleared. Now they require me deposit 5000 USDT to activate my account, but I don’t have anymore fund. I don’t know whether I can trust this APP. Could somebody help me with this?

To many scams by the developers. They have all these scams to earn coins, then don’t make it clear how much you have to deposit so you have to deposit multiple times, and they take five dollars every time you deposit. and then you end up earning less than you spent

Professional Scam. Avoid this wallet at all cost, fees most of the time +60% of the total amount of the transaction and if you can’t cover the fees you should just consider that money lost because you can’t move, convert or withdrawal it. Also read the reviews to have an idea about their customer service, your funds could just disappear and no one will respond to your emails or calls, it happened to me but fortunately it wasn’t a large amount.

Ponzi Scheme. Not allowing me to send my own crypto to my own wallet due to security concerns is somewhat valid if there is a genuine risk. Essentially my assets are locked for a month and I do not know how to make my account any more secure. It makes me thing Coinbase are holding customers assets for a more sinister reason, the longer it sits in Coinbase account the more they can do with it. As soon as I get access back to my asset, my account with be cancelled and I’ll never use them again.

Confusing, high fees and difficult to navigate. If there was a way to make something as confusing as humanly possible and charge you every time you try and do something… this would be it. I’ve wasted soooo much money on this platform simply just trying to access what I thought I’d bought but you can never actually access it but just keep wasting money to bridge, swap etc but nothing to actually withdraw… avoid at all costs. Never again

Can’t withdraw the money from the wallet. I have put in so much money to withdraw the money in the account but failed every time. There are always more different fees to be paid after I confirmed with the customer service each time. I have put in more than USDT 1 million but can’t even withdraw 1 dollar out. I really wonder whether it is the scam.

Customer service. In a word - nonexistent! Spent the last two days trying to unlock my frozen account so I can trade. Have yet to manage to speak to anyone who can fix it.

Coinbase Wallet. Terrible application just errors all the time with transactions. Gas or miners fee calculation having serious problems. Support none available to my knowledge.

Smart contracts fail 9 times out of 10. Everytime i try and swap coins on the base network using the coinbase app, It charges me the network even when the swap fails. Extremely frustrating especially when coins are going up and down in value as fast as they are. Do no recommend.

Coinbase Wallet. Great I find it very simple to use , just need a better interface with my other coinbase apps

Faulty app. Coinbase didn’t use recovery phrases later, they used other methods of verification. For some reason this doesn’t work on the ipad model but asks simply for a password on iPhone.

It is scammed, don’t use it. I lost money here and never get it back. Scammed app, apple store should remove it now, I lost big money here.

Don’t use this wallet- lost funds. I withdrew $2,900 USDT Tether from my Binance exchange account and sent to Coinbase Wallet, and yes I selected the correct ERC20 network. I have now been waiting more than 14 hours and Still haven’t received any USDT Tether. Shocking. I tried looking for their customer service number, no support. Sent on line email ticket. Other wallets take maximum 10 minutes for transfers.

Money Pit With No Exit. I use coinbase with no issue, however as soon as you transfer crypto to coinbase WALLET you may as well throw your money away. I have used the platform to earn Interest on my crypto however it is now impossible to withdraw any of it due to the fees associated with withdrawing and converting. I can’t get $100 worth of Ethereum out of the wallet without paying a staggering $300 in fees. STAY AWAY

Navigate. This is new to me and I’m finding it a bit complicated to navigate, especially when trying to swap.

Disappointed. I've been waiting a long time to resolve the issue, but it persists. I installed it through Coinbase's reward quest, yet there's an ongoing problem. The screen size isn't compatible with iPhone SE; it cuts off at the bottom on the last page, making it impossible to proceed to the last page of quests. One quest is missing rewards after sending a specific amount to the designated wallet address. Additionally, there are numerous spam messages.

Steals your money. They steal your crypto then when you ask them wear it is they give a lame excuse if we don’t know you wallet must have been compromised when can’t get you money back.

Failure to cash out. I tried transfer some money out to my banking account and I got failure and I tried to contact the support many times and no answer. This is so stressful and could you please hep me?

Do no go near this thing!. My friend just lost over $10,000 after trying to transfer out his Doge. Transaction was pending for ages, then the pending transaction disappeared from the app, and now his money is gone. The transaction hash that he was provided can’t be found on any block searches. Seriously screwed. Many other cases of missing transactions on here. Stay away!

Poor customer support. Multiple messages sent to support to confirm receipt of fees and charges for moving funds from my trading wallet to my Coinbase (which they don’t tell you about ) find out I need to pay an additional 2% of my profits to them. Which I do immediately as the support team assured me as soon as the 2% is received I will get my profits released. That doesn’t happen, numerous messages sent, no replies. Then 2 days later I am told they need 250$ in legal fees but funds will be released. So that is sent in, I get confirmation and now still nothing is released. I have lost 10000$ since my trade account deposited into Coinbase and no closer to getting funds. This is not a good wallet site.

This is a scam. This app is a scam. I put $150 in a coinbase.com account as I wanted to test the service before putting a lot of money in. I bought some DAI stable coin (again, as a test) then transferred it to this wallet. Cost $13 to transfer my crypto currency to my wallet (really? Almost 10% of my balance?). I went to transfer it back. Said I needed $20 in Ethereum to pay miner fees to move it back to Coinbase.com. So I try to buy $20 in Ethereum. It then tells me that I need $129 in Ethereum to pay miner fees to buy $20 of Ethereum. Yeah, circular logic. What. A. Scam.

Trying to send request to support. Trying to send request to support wallet identifies “we experienced and issue. Please restart app” Have only done this numerous times and have downloaded new version with same results and reached out through the Coinbase website without any resolution. I have also found a failure if support to identify that there will be future fees being assessed which results in not being able to transfer funds and yes I am new to this wallet but their help functions don’t clearly describe the process and the requirements. Can’t say I would recommend this app to anyone. Security is overwhelming and always the threat that you will lose your funds if you do not so this.

Is a great app until you need support, I thought it was impressive that when I called in I was talking to someone who was easy to understand and no wait times, boy was that misleading, I had $2k sitting in the account but when I tried to transfer even $50 is said insufficient funds for network fee, 4 times in a row they responded with step by step instructions on how to read my account balance saying that was the problem, even after sending screenshots of the $2000 in the account, thankfully online forums are available and I was able to get my money out, decent app but useless company

COINBASE IS AWEFUL!!!! DONT USE. I have been dealing with an account issue for almost 3 weeks now, my money isn’t in my account. I called 3 times over almost 3 weeks and the issue still isn’t resolved, they keep saying “we will look into this and email you” and I never get an email. Most recently, I had a with the customer support person named “JORDAN” And he was the absolute worst and unqualified support agent I’ve ever spoken with he could barely speak English and was so slow and ended up not even letting me speak about the issue because “he couldn’t verify my account” (he was clearly making a typo or looking in the wrong area) and I now I need to wait ANOTHER 4 hours in line on the phone. This Jordan was so disrespectful and unqualified and he refused to let me talk to his manager and refused to tell me where I can leave a complaint. He should be fired!!!

Don’t do it. Worst way to transfer money, there are much better apps out there. Their fees are insanely high and I don’t see a justifiable reason when the normal Coinbase has little to no fees. I placed $100 CAD to try earning interest on it and it would cost $120 USD on top of that to be able to do that. Since it was crazy expensive I decided to return it back to my normal Coinbase account but they have a $130 USD fee to transfer any coins other than Bitcoin and ethereum. So I basically have $100 held hostage and can’t get it back from them.

A group of Indians from India from a device located in India not associated wth my account stole my bitcoin with no security. Im in Canada. Signing into apple from a different device i get security notification that i need to confirm but not with coinbase which is a crypto exchange for billions of dollars.

Well, seems even after performing two factor authentication and confirming my login through Coinbase on another device, my account has been suspended from trading for 24 hours. I had no failed login attempts. I am using a vpn because well, I care about privacy. I am not fan of regulations. In fact, I think it goes against everything crypto is based on. However, I do think someone needs to step in to keep on eye on these exchanges. I will be closing this account as soon as I can.

They don't care to help you if your money ends up GONE.. I made a large transfer of XRP into my Coinbase account on the 16th of June (it's now the 1st of July). I sent it to the right wallet address but made a minor mistake on the XRP TAG. Let me tell you. TALK ABOUT DESPERATELY DEVASTATING. The money NEVER showed up in my Coinbase account. Don’t waste your time. It takes your money.. Had the wallet for over a year now, no problems sending and receiving crypto, until a few weeks ago. Sent about $224 worth of Bitcoin cash to the wallet from the Coinbase exchange from February 28th -March 3rd. Transactions were pending as usual. After a few days, still no coins. Submitted a claim ticket, with the transaction history and hash tags; still unresolved and no Bitcoin cash. Checked to see what coins that they still accept to be transferred and Bitcoin cash is no longer accepted. Vaporized. Transactions show “ zero” clear across the board. Just like that. Now as a test I bought $5.00 of euro coin on the exchange. Tried to sell and convert it. Today March 18th. They “cancelled” my transactions. They are starting to play games. Maybe it could be signs of a future collapse. You’ve been warned.

Scam. PLEASE READ THIS.. This app is a scam, they will charge you crazy fees if you have anything on the Etherium network. They will even charge you to transfer coins from Coinbase to their own wallet! If you have coins in the wallet and want to transfer it to another one BOOM fee. You want to switch your Eth tokens/coins for something that allows you to not get hit with a fee? BOOM you gotta buy over $600 worth of Etherium to cover the miner fee. Since the Beginning. I have had a CBW since the day they came out. My volume although small does not reflect my 10+yr with digital currency. I had 7 BTC for a couple thousand the sold for $6000 each and thought I was smarter than I was. Truth is wining the bitcoin was luck via a gaming website and luck was behind me selling high after winning them low. Here is the good news about bitcoin wallet. There is no luck. No upside or downside. There is consistency. Crypto and consistency are not synonymous but crypto and Coinbase are. Knowing what I am going to get from anything is better than getting lucky.

Takes obscene amounts of ETH to anything.. I moved a small amount of MATIC to swap on a DEX for VERI tokens. The ETH cost is .1145 just to do the swap, so basically $400 to do an $80 swap. And now I can’t move the MATIc back to an exchange without paying a stupid amount of ETH just to move the MATIC. So yeah, lesson learned, MATIC is stuck there. I like that the wallet allows you to swap tokens, so that makes it a 2 star, but it’s too cost prohibitive to actually make any real use of it, unless you have lots of ETH. Truth is Etherium in any kind of practical use is clown shoes with their high fees. It’s outrageous to think that any business or individual would use the Etherium blockchain to do anything except for moving tokens around. CLOWN SHOES.

My crypto was stolen from this wallet Don’t Use!. I have been using this wallet for three years with no problem. On October 23,2023 all of my crypto, over $20,000 was stolen from my Coinbase wallet. I have my seed phrase written down an locked in bank safe deposit box. The app is on my phone and has never been out of my possession and is password secured and has a VPN. Upon reviewing my profile I noticed that my seed phrase is exposed there. I contacted Coinbase and they basically said they couldn’t help me and to contact the FBI which I did. I asked them why they expose my seed phrase and a hacker could obtain them. They have not responded to my inquiry. I have always been told that if I lose my seed phrase my crypto wouldn’t be recoverable. I have my seed phrase and it is useless because coinbase exposed. I will never do any business with Coinbase again and would never recommend them.

Cannot connect Coinbase to Coinbase Wallet. Looks like some other people are having this issue. Every time I attempt to log onto my Coinbase account within this app, the first time I press authorize, nothing happens. When I hit authorize again, I get an error that says “invalid request. Make sure your CLIENT_ID is present and valid.” Nothing happens after that but I do get an email later saying I’ve successfully connected my account even though in the Wallet app is still says I have to login. I’ve done this nine times and it still doesn’t work. When I contacted Coinbase, they sent me a link on how to connect my account instead of reading what I wrote on the help request. That’s pretty tone deaf. Please fix your app.

Wallet Dunce. I used Coinbase and have several crypto where I trade and I also now downloaded Coinbase Wallet. It’s absolutely impossible for me to understand how to do that. Do you think it would be easy but to me it’s not. When I open up the Coinbase Wallet shouldn’t I easily be able to just transfer or move or store the crypto on the Coinbase app to my Coinbase Wallet. For example just drag and drop no it’s not like that it makes absolutely no sense to me there is no mention of store or move or transfer in the Coinbase Wallet. I can’t even tell if my Coinbase account is linked or not. I assume it is but I don’t know.. The instructions they provide are useless to me the helpdesk that I speak to is useless to me. Do you think they’d have a very simple to use tutorial supporting with a video that shows someone doing exactly that. But they don’t.

Wallet locked but no passcode set. I am familiar with setting passcodes on devices. From iPads to laptops to desktops. It has always been my experience that you set a passcode either during the install or when you turn on the passcode security option. The latter is much more popular and sensible. When I went to turn on the passcode security feature the app crashed. When I opened it back up it required a passcode... one which I did not set. One would assume if this is the case maybe it’s the passcode for the phone. Wrong. The Wallet is locked and does not give me the option of turning off the passcode nor can I setup a new profile. It’s just a useless app holding money. I have emailed the developer many times with not response. I would strongly suggest against using this App.

This Needs Regulation Immediately!!. There needs to be a way to regulate things better and see to it that the price initially said is adhered to. You attempt to swap a coin it says you need a certain amount in ETH to do so. You purchase that amount or a little bit more and go to purchase again all of a sudden that isn’t enough meanwhile coinbase continues to get money in fees from every transaction. Same thing with the gas fees. The transaction is going through all of a sudden it fails and you need more for gas fees. So the initial transaction doesn’t get honored. There needs to be something to regulate this because these people are pretty much doing whatever and charging whatever they want and it makes me not even want to purchase Crypto in this way anymore because it’s extremely frustrating and it makes me feel like I’m dealing with a bunch of crooks.

Scammers Bad customer service. Coin base wallet is not insured and is not accountable for any unauthorized crypto transactions that happened on your account. I had an unauthorized transaction take all my funds and The Coinbase wallet app didn’t notify that any transaction had happened. When i realize what happened and notified the customer support, they forwarded me an article about protecting your 12 phrase password and made zero effort to investigate or help me out. Even “if” someone had my password, that doesn’t explain why the wallet app didn’t notify me about important account activity, i.e.a new log in and completed transaction. See, If you get an unauthorized transaction they will spam you an article about password recovery and won’t help you

Potentially faulty. My experience is extremely bad. I tried to transfer ethereum token from the Coinbase exchange to the Coinbase Wallet using the wallet’s ‘transfer’ feature , but the tokens never arrived, and I lost almost $1,500. The Coinbase support couldn’t help me either because they kept giving me the same advice that didn’t work. I was extremely disappointed because, given that both of these sources belong to the same coinbase platform, the transaction should have been seamless, but it was not, and it cussed me to lose money. The only possible reason this could have happened is because the ‘transfer’ feature was flawed. Suspiciously, shortly after I complained, the Coinbase issued a new version of the wallet which I think it might have been linked to my incident. Horrible experience and I will log a complaint with the BBB. Be careful

Bloomberg Subscription Trap!. I use Coinbase regularly for all of my Crypto needs including as a source for crypto news. The app generally displays news articles pertaining to cryptocurrency which are complimentary and informative. Lately I have been seeing many news articles by a company named Bloomberg at the bottom of my feed. Now, whenever I select any of the articles by “Bloomberg” I am immediately funneled into a Bloomberg subscription page which is extremely misleading and exceptionally annoying. The entire Coinbase app seems cheapened by this strange method of advertising news articles that I don’t even have access to read within the app

Coinbase May damage iPhone 13 Pro. Coinbase app may crash and then overheat and damage iPhone. Several times Coinbase has crashed, sending me back to the iPhone Home screen while the app continues in the background. At this point my iPhone becomes hot to the touch on the back in the area between the camera lenses and the mute switch for the ringer. If you leave your iPhone in this state, it will continue to get hotter and hotter. Force quitting the app is insufficient to stop the runaway condition. You must force quit the app and power off your iPhone to resolve the issue.

Ignore reviews about fees. The fees you pay for moving crypto in and out of the wallet have NOTHING to do with the wallet itself, those fees are gas fees for the ETH network... It’s amazing how many people are buying crypto without knowing anything about how it works, ERC 20 tokens will have large fees regardless of where you move them. That’s why it’s not worth moving small amounts and why ERC 20 tokens won’t ever be used for everyday purchases. If you’re new to crypto please take the time to learn, it seems overly complicated at first but once you get the basics down it all starts coming together and makes sense.

Coinbase Wallet Non-Existent support. Coinbase Wallet support does not read or respond to my emails, they send the same 4 default responses repeatedly. I only downloaded this app to complete the “quest rewards”. I contacted support about being unable to redeem these and I’ve received about 12 emails from support, either they request my SSN, Banking information, or tell me to “log out and log back in 24-48 hours. I have followed every step and been very compliant with support but they keep repeatedly emailing me the same things and requesting the same information over and over. I have been given the “run around” for months on the same issue (still unsolved) made even worse by the fact I can’t withdraw the money I uploaded to earn these rewards without losing 50% of it in Fees!

Poorly Designed. It’s somewhat shocking that the app runs as poorly as it does. I’ve already run into 2 glitched screens that don’t load properly. One when trying to log in with my recovery phrase, the button at the bottom doesn’t show properly and there’s no way for me to scroll down the screen. Same problem arises when opening the “send” tab in the app. I said it was shocking because you’d think Coinbase would bother hiring coders to design the app that people are going to be using to manage their virtual life savings, but I guess corners have to be cut during these difficult times. Only reason I’m here at all is because Coinbase bought out BRD wallet and deleted their beautiful and functional app so they could replace it with their clunky and non-functioning app.

WARNING. For those of you already using the coinbase exchange DO NOT DOWNLOAD this app thinking you can easily transfer money back and forth. I downloaded this app to see what is was and how it worked. Transfered 60$ kyner network tokens to try it. Immediately was charged 7$ for the transfer too the wallet and cannot transfer back to coinbase exchange for seemingly less than 40$. BTW you can also only pay the fees with ETH. So youll then have to send 50+$ in eth to cover its fee and pay the fee to get your other currency out. Think yoi could just exchange KNT for ETH in app to simplify? 244$ fee to exchange 50$ of KNT to ETH. Ill just consider that 50$ gone and that is the price i paid to findout this app is garbage. Please dont make the same mistake i did. Love the exchange app however, just use that.

Stay away. When you having a transaction and it fails you will still pay fees which are not refundable. Basically no customer service that you a provided with. When I emailed about the problem that’s the result you get “ You are paying for the computation, regardless of whether your transaction succeeds or fails. Even if it fails, the miners must validate and execute your transaction, which takes computational power. You must pay for that computation, just like you would pay for a successful transaction, this is not a fee that Coinbase receives, so we cannot refund it. This fee is directly paid to miners for mining transactions, validating them into blocks, and securing the blockchain.” BOTTOM LINE IF IT FAILED AND ITS NOT YOUR FAULT YOU ARE STILL BEING CHAGED NON REFUNDABLE FEE.

False representation. Sent a small amount of OP and ETH to the wallet so I could mint a “free” NFT celebrating Base. Well surprise there is a transaction fee to make a free NFT. Then after the transaction fee there is Another fee for processing the transaction, so I tried to send my OP back to Coinbase but it says I don’t have any ETH in my account, which like I said before I DO. So it’s either send MORE ETH over in hopes this minting process even WORKS or I just lose out on all my money in crypto I just sent this bogus wallet. I can’t even see the full transaction screen as it’s cut off at the bottom. If I could give Zero stars I would. I’ve been trading crypto for years and this is ridiculously buggy which is unprofessional and unethical **costs $5.50 in eth to stake $3 in eth on cbeth** moronic

It is what it is. The current CEO of Coinbase can't speak without talking about bankruptcy or laying off employees. Where your crypto becomes theirs to cover the bankruptcy, sure he is correct. The app is becoming a social media centric experience where anything you attempt to do is interrupted with the woke Coinbase agenda so that you experience every feature that you never needed. Yet Coinbase is probably the only exchange that remains standing for now. I use a Yubikey, actually multiple for redundancy, Coinbase is the only platform that supports multiple physical Yubikeys, one for myself and one with a friend incase i fall off the edge of flat earth tomorrow.

Do not use this app. App won’t let me swap Bitcoin for USD. Whenever I hit the swap button Bitcoin doesn’t show up as an asset to swap even though I have Bitcoin in my wallet. Also has fees are ridiculously high to send bitcoin to another wallet. Basically takes 75% of what you’re trying to send. Trying to send $200 with of Bitcoin to another wallet will cost me about $170 in network/gas fees. That’s way too high. Update: Messaged Coinbase support and told them I can’t swap my Bitcoin with USD or other cryptos. They gave me a lot of solutions that didn’t work. Once I told them none of the solutions worked they ended the char. Terrible customer service. Im going to send the money I have in there to another wallet and never use them again. THIS APP IS TRASH.

Terrible experience. This app doesnt deserve one single star for many reasons. I have been with coinbase pro for a year now. Whenever i sell crypto my money gets converted to USDC; this time my it was Tether USDT. Well, i could not convert it to anything or buy other assets. Opened up the account ( CB Wallet) hoping i will be able to do the transfer and conversion easily, bad idea. Now the app wont let me transfer back to CB Pro. I cant even buy other assets including Ether. They customer service is absolutely mediocre. They have no absolutely understanding of what is going so generic. Its as if the tech is perfect doesn't develop issues. Now my money is stuck on the app.I will take further action. If CB cant solve the situation immediately . Seriously i think these crypto companies are loathsome, should be regulated. This is absolutely non sense!

Can’t compete transactions. I’ve been using Coinbase for years and trusted when they directed me to a wallet through their app, because of the love and ease of tradings they’ve shown me since high school I figured this was a no brainer, but clearly it was a mistake. Failed transactions one after another with no explanation just a link to an eth website to just tell you you’ve lost your money due to gas fees and no coins to show for it. Either the developers of this app are deliberately blocking regular people from buying and trading an up trending token or they just aren’t competent enough to sustain the high volume of transactions that are coming through the app yet. I will be moving over to binance after this I’m glad I only started with 100$ but with 6$ left and nothing to show for it I will not give them anymore money or time. They’ve lost my trust.

Good wallet, close to being great. One suggestion for the devs and an essential thing that prevents me from making this my default wallet is the lack of functionality to sign a message with my private key to prove ownership of my wallet. Add this!! This is a good wallet overall that gives the user actual ownership/possession of their coins. I like the integrated ability to convert ERC20 tokens through integration with DeFi. Another plus is having my wallet on the iOS ecosystem that is theoretically less open to threats like theft of private keys compared to more open operating systems.

In one word? Terrible.. I used Coinbase and CB Pro and thought that using their wallet was a good move. I WAS WRONG. DO NOT TRUST THIS WALLET. This app is buggy and kicked me off for no reason, forcing me to enter my seed phrase to log back in and will now not recognize the recovery phrase given to me. Let me repeat that: IT WILL NOT RECOGNIZE THE SEED PHRASE that was given to me when I set up the wallet. I cannot recover my coins and their customer service is practically nonexistent. All I get are standard form emails and no actual help. Read the reviews, this is not an isolated incident and hundreds of others have lost coins and have had issues with recovery. If you use this wallet, be forewarned that you may lose EVERYTHING in that wallet. Find a better wallet and get your coins out of CB. Not a trustworthy company.

Watch Out. *** UPDATE - once you reach out to support, they say there is nothing they can do because the wallet is 100% disconnect from their service and you are on your own. So my money is lost, and they won’t assist. I was under the impression this was among the safest wallets out there. Boy was I wrong. Brand new wallet, transferred multiple types of coin, within 4hrs of the coins being received they were transferred out. Nothing on my end, phone was secured and not used. Only way I noticed was I logged In to see if my original transfers were complete. Somehow my information was compromised but ONLY for BTC and ETH, not my alt coins. Coinbase said sorry bout ya but that’s the risk you run. I’ll never use them again and only do cold storage from here on out.

Intro to the future fellas and fellows. This is been a really neat transition. So far I’ve had a lot of fun abs made some money playing around while learning the platform. I encourage new users to take advantage of the little lessons they offer that is a good way to break the ice. Over time you will familiarize with it. It’s a lot to try and throw yourself in. Support subpar. Support is not answering basic questions about this app. Just copying pasting information available on their website. I need to know if I can open this wallet app while abroad and not get locked out of my Coinbase Acct. I know from other forums that you cannot open the main Coinbase app while traveling abroad or it can and will lock you out, but I specifically need to know about this app. I’ve had Coinbase for over a year and am trying to find a way to be able to access my crypto while traveling abroad without creating multiple wallets and also not getting locked out. I leave in a week and they don’t seem to want to answer this basic question. I’m ready to transfer out of the Coinbase ecosystem entirely based upon this lack of a basic answer.

You won’t be able to get coins out of this wallet. I transferred some MATIC tokens into this wallet, no problem. I tried to convert it into something else it says I need ETH to do that. I transferred ETH to pay for the fees and the fees keep changing and the transaction failed but took my ETH anyway. I tried to transfer MATIC out of this wallet it doesn’t work because you will need ETH again to pay for the fees I transferred more ETH into the wallet to pay for the fees and it says I don’t have enough ETH to pay for the fees. The transaction failed again but again took my money. I hate Ethereum and the fees. I only had $100 of Matic and now I’ll just simply forget about it. Why can’t you just take some existing matic in the wallet to pay for the fees instead of having me transfer in more ETH to pay for the fees? This app is a scam.

Hacked and loss 24k. Coinbase is not safe by any means. They do NOT provide any assurance to keep your assets safe. More importantly, they do not care how much they stole from you or how much you had stolen. They sell the idea that they are safe and you can invest in them. Please by all means get a cold wallet and do not trust coinbase to protect your assets. The hacker was able to bypass the seed phrase, the two-step verification, and the facial recognition. I had no alerts nor any emails confirming any transactions. All assets was unstaked and sent to another wallet in less than 10min. Coinbase’s response stated “ there is no way for Coinbase to cancel, reverse, or recover these funds on your behalf after crypto is sent off our platform ” if you want to lose your money then please use coinbase but if you want your money safe then please get a cold wallet or a more secure hot wallet.

Ridiculous Insane Fees. COINBASE WALLET attaches INSANE network fees - typically higher than the amount being transferred - making all attempts to transfer crypto next to impossible. Fees may be adjusted downward by slowing down ETH transfer speeds, but this option DOES NOT EXIST for BTC. My $1000 in BTC was trapped for months before I found the solution of creating a compatible non-Coinbase wallet using my stored recovery keywords. When I did this, I was able to transfer my BTC from the new wallet - at top speed - for a small reasonable fee. I’m confused by the positive reviews for Coinbase Wallet. The Dev’s claims that you can adjust BTC mining fees in Coinbase Wallet are blatantly false. That option pertains only to ETH transfers. It’s almost as if COINBASE is trying to discourage newbies and small investors from using private wallets.

Delayed Data and Transactions. This app is riddled with bugs. The user has to constantly close and open the app to see transaction updates. More importantly, the delays! It took 2 days for an ETH purchase to appear in my wallet. Suddenly late at night, my ETH shows up 2-3 days later. I actually forgot I made the purchase. So, if you plan on trading and need realtime data, stay clear of this app. The CB wallet prices are behind the live charts. What you see in your wallet is delayed!!!!! Big time! You will be selling short of the real market price. If you contact support, they will cut and paste a long winded response to defuse the question, why the long delays with the “wallet”.

Skyrocketed miner fees. I like using this app, been using for almost 6months now. Just when I am beginning to get comfortable with the app, the miners fees are just ridiculously increasing. Charging more than 50% miner fee of capital to be invested. And you would think transaction speed would be faster, still slow and takes about a minute to go thru. This is ridiculous. Please fix your prices before you loose your customers. Almost everyone I know using your app is complaining.

Be advised Fees...Fees...Fees...horrible customer service. Been using Coinbase for about six months just recently downloaded the wallet...disappointed to see that coinbase also charges for transfers between coinbase to COINBASE wallet..I understand the transaction fees in coinbase itself but to also charge customers for transfers into their very own coinbase wallets is a bit much...I would totally understand if it was to an outside wallet. At the end of the day prepare to pay for EVERY single transaction using Coinbase even if it to their very own Coinbase wallet. Also the app has been logging me out automatically...I have facial recognition set up and recently I transferred some BTC from my coinbase to coinbase wallet and now that I’ve logged back in it’s gone..btw customer service is horrible..have not been able to get in touch with anyone. Truely disappointed.

Lost Wallet. Unfortunately this app has been a disaster, and I've told my friends and family great things of CB Wallet. Now ive waited over 4 months to get a response on a wallet where i had a considerable amount and for whatever reason it decided to log me out. Once i attempted to log in it said that my wallet already exists. Ive sent emails over and over and nothing has been solved at this point I've lost profits and its been an overall poor experience. I advise no one bother with this app until they figure out their internal issues with the app.

Some issue with their customer support. They takes weeks to months to reply back to a simple issue that can resolve now I don’t know if I am able to get my coins back. I have sent them email on may 6 about my issue with the coins that I sent to their coinbase wallet but now it’s may 28th. I had provided everything that they had asked for to verify the hash, time, date and which type of coins etc but still now no reply I can’t sell or do anything because of their poor customer services it’s really annoying to wait over two weeks to get a reply. I just hope they up their customer services game instead of wasting their clients time.

Horrendous.. I have had a Coinbase account for years. I was trying to buy a crypto on the exchange but saw that one must first open a Coinbase Wallet, so I opened one. I deposited funds, and bought the crypto necessary for the swap for my desired crypto via the wallet. Despite the app being updated, the Coinbase app refused, over and over, to let me connect my Coinbase wallet to my Coinbase account, even though the assets were cleared and available. The automated help-bot was completely useless as usual, and after hours of research online, there’s nothing that can clarify why my Coinbase wallet will not connect to my Coinbase account. The incompetence of this exchange is truly staggering. I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences with Coinbase, and will be letting everyone on my social media accounts know how terrible they are for crypto/crypto transactions.

Terrible app unreliable. All money I put in is lost or has been pending for over a month now. Terrible app I have reached out last couple days I can’t afford to lose $160 like that because an app. Tried to just take my money out and throw it into my Coinbase account where I trade crypto but that has been pending for over 2 weeks and I can’t find the transaction I can see it on the app but I can’t find the update on it if it’s going through and I tried to buy NFT’s on open sea in October and it still says pending. I hate this app and will never use Coinbase wallet ever again for being so unreliable. The $60 wasn’t a big deal but the $100+ was annoying and has made me not want to use Coinbase wallet ever again and possibly even switch over to another crypto platform.

Horrible absolutely horrible. Do not transfer coin to this app.. So I transferred 50$ of SHIB to this wallet and to do so it costed 1.99 which was reasonable as that is usually what Coinbase offers. Now I went to transfer it back to sell and now suddenly i have to purchase ether in order to do so and get this I need to purchase near 20$ of ot to do so. How was an able to transfer it from Coinbase to their wallet for 1.99 and in order for me to sell it I have to purchase ether on Coinbase, pay a fee to transfer it to their wallet and then transfer it to Coinbase for 20$ to sell it with another 1.99 Coinbase fee. This is ridiculous. I’m so happy I only transferred 50$ because this is now forever lost. Coinbase might as well just transfer it to their portfolio Bc I’m not spending 40$ to get 50. Totally ridiculous.

No response. Here is a story about how I lost out on $160 profit that was going to be used to take my nephew to dinner, This wallet has taken 234k XYO tokens and as of now there seems to be no way to get them back. I lost them during a transaction where I lowered the ETH gas fee a tad expecting it to take an extended period of time. I transferred them to a MetaMask wallet where the CS over there is stating it should have been automatically refunded back to my Coinbase Wallet as the fee was too cheap. 3 days later the transaction has been completely deleted from both wallets. I reached out the day after to customer support as still have no received a response. I do no recommend using this app at all because if something does go array, they WILL NOT be there to help you. If I get my tokens back maybe I will change my rating. Until then, F—- this app

Beware - iCloud Back Up Doesn’t Work. I was using FaceID, but also backed my 12 word phrase in iCloud. I hadn’t had any issues until I got a new phone. I restored my iCloud and do have the passphrase saved, but the restore via iCloud option doesn’t work. It doesn’t recognize my password and after reading these reviews, I’m on one of many that have experienced this. I reached out to support and kept getting robot responses for over 20 email replies and was never properly helped. At one point it said I was getting connected to a specialist, which they never reached out and when I followed up on the thread it said my ticket was closed. I’ve lost a pretty decent chunk of money from this and highly discourage anyone from experiencing what I and many others have gone through.

THIS APP IS TRASH!! DO NOT USE!!!. Every negative review that you read about this app is true! I have experienced all of these problems within 2 days of use. The entire wallet is compromised and people are losing their money everywhere. Either they can not get their money transferred out of the app, they charge fees higher than the amount of the transaction, someone steals your money out of your wallet, they allow dapps to place Unlimited Approval Acess on your USDT Wallet. Every transaction costs ETH to complete and customer service is not doing anything to find a fix for the issues that customers have. The only bright side is that they give you access to dapps but it doesn’t help if you can not get your money out of the wallet. ABSOLUTE RIPOFF SCAM TRASH!

App is staggeringly slow!. I only use this app when I need to copy paste a wallet address that sits on my phone, otherwise the web app is my go to. Why? You’d think Coinbase cares about user experience. It’s year 3 using this app and it’s as slow as ever, and 5 minutes into using it my phone becomes exceedingly hot and my battery slumps at least 15%. Insane. This is terrible. This is the only app I ever used that behaves this way. Sometimes I get concerned, like what exactly is happening in the background that needs so much CPU crunching that my phone gets this hot? Why is the app consuming so much power whilst being so slow, I’m talking waiting almost 5 seconds for a button to become usable, or even page loads. Needs work!!

Don’t. I downloaded this app as a way to stake my crypto and earn what i thought were solid returns, That was my 1st mistake. My 2nd was putting my ZRX into AAVE for a 3.2% return, not to shabby… until you consider the gas fees, it cost me about $36 to put my ZRX in the pool, mind you it was only $700ish in ZRX. The real horror in it came when i try to withdraw my ZRX from the pool. They want $427 in ETH “gas fees” to withdraw my ZRX. They say “miner fees are high right now” but the thing is, it says that 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. This app is a good way to lose $ nothing more. You’ve been warned, stay away!

Scam. I tried to swap an asset twice that went up almost 500% and both times it wouldn’t go through until the asset dropped back down to where I actually lost money. If you think about it, we put money into their account and then we tap to buy something that we want in hopes to make a profit but who’s to say that they are actually buying what we want and not just investing our money into an asset they think is worth more in the long run. Just bc it says we own a asset on our phone doesn’t mean that’s what they actually bought. And if so they couldn’t afford to pay out big gains like that. I don’t know I could be crazy but I tried it a second time and same results. Just be careful

Mining fees are ridiculous and once you’re in you’re stuck!. This wallet is a joke. They say .5% fee, but THEN there’s the hidden mining fees for sending, receiving, and swapping. It cost me $30 to move $200 In Crypto from my Coinbase account and the $55 to move it back. I ultimately decided to move it back and close this wallet because to buy or swap coins here is crazy ridiculous mining fees. They quoted me $140 to swap $170 between two coins. Also, there is no way to cash out other than sending back to your Coinbase account and yep, you guessed it, big cost to do that too. Stick with KuCoin, Uniswap, or others. This platform is a ripoff. Oh and… read the fine print. They ARE NOT Coinbase… completely separate 3rd party platform, though the name and brand seem the same. Tricky tricky.
