It's just what I needed. I love this app. I have searched the web and it was right under my nose all this time. I'm sick of owing.

Close enough for government work????. I just bought and started comparing the results from this app to the IRS tables. Within a dollar or two most of the time. I think it is accurate enough to use in my small business! I have a small concern about the math on the "Results" screen. When adding extra Witholding amounts on the 'Advanced' screen, the amount is added twice on the results screen, both on the "Federal w/h" line, and in the "Extra Federal w/h" line, thus doubling the extra contribution when those two lines are added together in the "Total Federal w/h" line. Fix that and I will give you 5 stars!!! Should be an easy fix!

Very useful app. I have been using this app for the past two years and it’s the first one that i came to that met my expectations. I work lots of overtime on my job and this app helps me determine if i should do the extra hours. This app is very necessary if you do a budget and like to get an idea of your projected income. This app is very simple and easy to use. I look forward to the updates that will automatically calculate your pay and overtime based on your entered pay wage. I would also like to see an added update that would allow you to save information that you have entered, such as post and pretax deductions, 401k automatically deducted based on your percentage that you are putting in. Anyway try this app, you won’t be disappointed.

Great, Thanks. Thank you for this app, Every year between January and June my bookkeeper gets my accounting program file. I don't get the updated file back (new payroll figures) until they've finished reconciling everything. In the meantime I'm left trying to figure payroll taxes for this year based on last years figures. This app has allowed my to know my calculations are in the ballpark. Thank you. I also noticed you got complaints about the state tax figures. I don't have state taxes so it doesn't affect me. You should make the state income tax calculator a seperate in-app purchase.

Great App!. Simple and accurate... Extremely helpful when filling out your W-4. It's great to know exactly how much taxes will be taken from your paycheck and it let's you know how much you will have left over for spending. Very simple and precise.

Inaccurate App for California. I bought this app based on good reviews and the layout of the program. However, their calculations for federal and California withholdings are off by a good $150 dollars! I sure hope they correct this problem soon.

Redesign destroyed entire app. They redesigned a very nice app and it’s basically a joke now. Absolutely no graphics, a bizarre swipe method and a confusing layout. Go back. Bring back the original. This has got to be a joke.

Stupidly simple app but it works for me.. So this app I was very hesitant to purchase but once I did this app helps me greatly plan out my incoming money since $15 an hour isn't really $15 an hour. This app is accurate to within a few dollars. Now I have more control over my finances cause of this information. Very useful tool.

Best app for payroll. This app is perfect and extremely accurate. It has many more options for how often you get paid. No other apps compare or are as accurate as this.

Not working. Why is this app not working now on my iPhone been using it for 3 years flawlessly and all the sudden it it’s grey instead of black and can’t see the number you input

Crashing when opened. Why haven’t you responded to this??? the app is still crashing on iOS 12.4 and I’m still waiting for a fix App crashes every time I open it after iOS update I’m on iOS 12.1.4 When it was working it was a great app very very helpful.

App not working. I just downloaded this app and none of the buttons work. Please fix or return my money since the app is broken.

Large amount error. Entering 103,000 as an annual salary as single gives correct fed tax. Changing to married gives a huge amount for fed tax. State is CT.

Does not calculate hourly pay. Does NOT allow HOURLY.

Great. I work in production. 95 percent of the time we get paid without taxes being taken out. This app does the job helping figuring out how exactly my paycheck will be. Kudos to the creators. I will defiantly be referring this app to fellow co workers.

Eh. Tax rats aren’t loaded correctly. They don’t match my previous pay stubs. For example, federal with holding is about $100 off.

Update?. When is the 2020 tax brackets getting updated to the app?

Great app when it worked.. There has to be an update available that keeps up with the updates of iOS! This app worked great until my iPad updated, now it closes every time you try to change the state. What gives, and when will it be fixed?

What about NYC withholding. Not useful if you work/live in NYC. Calculation does not account for NYC tax and SDI.

Good but no SDI deduction built in.. SDI is a pretty standard deduction in most states I believe. Not sure why didn’t add this

California. California state tax is messed up since the latest update

Fuctionality. The previous version of the app was more user friendly. The recent update makes you swipe from screen to screen and it is more clunky and not as seem less as the previous version.

Want forecasting and what if. Works as a basic withholding calculator to tell you how much your paycheck will be. You need to add head of household as one of the filing options. What I was hoping for was a way to play with the numbers to see what I should change my W-4 to midyear.

App does not work. App opens but does not accept any inputs. Waste of time and money.

Used to love it.... It was such a simple little program, but it looks like they changed the format from one screen to a bunch of screens to swipe and now everything lags. I have no idea why the felt the need to change it. Such a shame.

Bug in adv mode. In advanced mode retirement withholding is not taken into account. Please fix!!! Otherwise cool app!

Crashing issues. App crashes constantly after entering info and swiping to the second page.

California is tax-deductible is way off. I have been using this app for a few years and loved it. However California's state to duck Cheyenne with the new update is taking 900% more out than what it should. Please fix

Awesome but needs more detail. This is exactly what I was looking for. The result was about $100 less than my actual paycheck. I have over $300 of pre-tax deductions (pension, union dues, health/dental insurance, etc.), but I had to enter $130 or so to get near the same amount as my paycheck. I would totally recommend this app if you are looking to keep your paycheck amount the same once you increase your withholdings to put more into your retirement plan. State: CA

Good, but missing a few features. This app is pretty good for the most part, but would be better with social security calculations and number of dependencies.

needs work. bought this app to make sure i was getting the right amount withheld. NJ sui/sdi is not calculated if you have extra state /or federal withholding it wont show the correct amount in the basic screen, you have to go to to the advanced screen to see the correct amount. if would be great if the results screen had the categories of withholding spaced out, so to make it easier to read. I compare the amounts calculated on the app and on my check, the all match, except for the federal income tax, is was off by 6 cents, not much but still off.

Tax rates loaded are not correct. I like this app a lot. I use it all the time. However, the recent update you loaded is not the current tax tables. Please update ASAP!

Last update. Since the update on 2/19/2020 this app no longer works. None of the information entered shows up in the fields. :((

Something wrong. Great app until the update, but now you can’t see what you are typing

Does not calculate Federal correct. This app does not deduct the correct federal amount. Every other deduction is correct. Huge difference in Federal deduction.

Great customer service. After the update the program works great now. Customer service is excellent. I use it for quick payroll subtraction on my small business so I do not have to look up the % every time.

Mediocre at best. Since it is the only app for calculating your own withholding, it will have to do but it still sorely lacking. How to improve: 1) Create a log-in so you don’t have to reinter the same info every time like marital status, dependents, pay period, etc... 2) Taxes are complicated, have an info box to explain what each field is for. 3) Include section for local withholding so users can enter local WH rate

Just perfect for me. I don't know what other people are looking for for this app but it contains the most important info that we mostly need.

Action without evidence. This app lack the most crucial aspect of a paycheck, a stub, because it lacks the print option.

so far so good. since im Working part time, and collecting unemployment part time my part-time job affects my unemployment benefits. Based on a few of the calculations I have done so far the app looks like it's going to be a handy tool and calculating what my unemployment benefits are going to be after I collect a check from my new job.

No. It needs to have the option to put in your hours worked and your pay rate and then calculate your gross pay. It doesn't. So I wasted money on this app. :(

Trouble. Love the app, I’m having trouble with the recent update and not sure how to contact anyone. I don’t have a username and password to turn in technical issues. I’m using an iPhone X. The gross amount is clear at the top of the screen and does not allow it to work. Please help.

Some Issues. I just bought this app and tested against my CA paystub. All of the tax amounts match, give or take a few cents, however the Paycheck Net is off. The app indicates $35.46 more than my actual Net Pay. Then I discovered it’s because the app does not automatically factor in CA SUI/SDI Tax. It forces me to annotate this for ‘Extra State Withholding’. I guess I’m just used to web based calcs factoring this automatically. The other issue is the app graphics are not optimized for iPhone X. The very top of the screen extends into the ‘Notch’, causing the top field to be obstructed by it. Please fix these if at all possible. Otherwise the app would be 5 stars for my purposes.

DO NOT UPDATE TO 2.2020.1 version! ❌. App is now broken and vastly inaccurate (at least for IL)! Can't see the input entries with this new grey background! Output data is far from actual. Useless!!! 🚫👎🏼
