Love this app!. I have always loved the idea of having envelopes for each week to watch my spending. Due to the fact I rarely have cash on hand, I haven’t been able to until now. I love this app!!! Exactly what I needed and was looking for. Thank you- and Jesus loves you too!!

Start The New Year Right With This Awesome App. I’m financially savvy but was frustrated with the glut of features and complicated options that most budgeting apps offered. This can be a huge turnoff to people who are trying to get started on a budget. If you DO find a decent budgeting app they want a paid subscription which is annoying and can turn most people away. This app is painfully simple with some opportunity for some simple fixes but the advantage is it does away with the clutter that can make budgeting a pain. It’s free to download and I can only say JUST TRY IT. If you don’t like it you can go back to the fancy paid apps that want all your personal financial information. This app allows you to create unlimited “envelopes” with a running balance that accrues if you don’t use the total amount for the month. For simple, down to earth people who want a basic solution to tracking finances this is THE app you’re looking for.

Easy peasy. This was exactly what I was looking for to keep up with daily spending on the go. It also works well for other small projects like collecting money for a gift. The notes were super important providing the simplicity of a written list (that does the math for you) in my phone. Loved it more than five stars until I encountered the item display limit. I need to see from the beginning to the end of my monthly envelope. I am bummed because I can’t find anything else this efficient and effective. It would be nice to edit a transaction, too. But with the full list of transactions, It would be my forever go to. Is there a pro version or do I continue my hunt for a solution?

Perfect Envelope Tracking. This app is EXACTLY what I need. Easily and accurately tracks how much is in each envelope without having to do a long complicated budget - - which I do use also, but needed this for a quick easy answer to “How much do we have left for groceries this month?” Etc…

I’ve tried many budget apps.... ...and this one is the easiest and most stable. Nothing to sign up for, nothing but adding and subtracting.

The best!!. I’ve referred so many people to get this app!! It’s seriously so simple! I use it all the time!

Good when it works. New update whites out the numbers and there’s no instructions. All envelopes are blank though I type. It seems like they don’t bug test these updates enough.

Crash to home screen, Version 2.0. Updated 8/16. Failure to access data inside of the envelopes. Amounts are still correct, but inability to click into them. Restarted phone. Forced to delete and re-enter data.

Love it!. I’ve been searching for an envelopes app for the longest! I’m so glad to have came across this free app. I absolutely love it it helps me keep track of my daily expenses in a very simple way. Instead of creating different savings accounts with my bank for my sinking funds I simply create an envelope for it on here.

Please read!!!!. I love your app and I've only had it for a day, i love the simplicity of it and there is literally nothing wrong with it. But it would be cool if you can customize the envelope by putting and picture you want instead of just the 4-5 colors. But even without that, this app is the best one so far all the popular ones are so complicated. (Im just a high schooler so i don't have a credit score or debt or none of that, so this app is perfect for me.

Great app. Maybe a few more features??. I’ve been using this app for a year. My only suggestion would be to create a way to have your envelope start from scratch each month. I’ve been deleting the envelopes and recreating them just to start fresh every month. And have a date next to your items you’re inputting. Other than that I love the simplicity of it and how easy it is to use.

Suggested Improvements. I’m enjoying this app and like that I don’t need to link any personal banking information. Three improvements I’d like to see are (1) Make it shareable so spouse can access it too (2) Have more colors available (3) Make sub-envelopes within an envelope

Simple! The perfect digital envelope money tracker. What I feel about this app is in its name. Simple! And that is a compliment! I’ve been using excel on my PC for most of my budgeting life. I’ve been wanting to slowly transition to some kind of mobile tracking situation where I have the information of the amount of money I have available to spend in whatever category I need at the ready where ever I am when I need it. This app is exactly what I needed for this. I never leave reviews or rate apps, but if mine can help push someone to make the small purchase on this app to gain a wonderful, yet simple, tool for their budgeting, I’m glad to have helped. From A Financial Coach. I have been using this app for years, and tried others. The reason the original real envelope system worked was it’s simplicity. This app nails it. You don’t need graphs, charts, and all the other bells and whistles that most budgeting apps are cluttered with. I also like that you don’t have to remember yet another password to use this app. I have and will continue to recommend it to all of my clients!

Great app that EASILY does exactly what we need it to do.. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because we really need it to sync it to 2 iPhones.

Great app, needs one change.. Have been using this app for a long time. I really love the simplicity, it’s perfect for using a digital cash envelope system. My only complaint is that I wish I could list transactions newest to oldest so I don’t have to scroll to the bottom to check them. Otherwise, perfect app!!

Exactly what I need. Most budget apps are too complex for what I want. I wanted something as close to having real envelopes of cash as possible, and THIS IS IT. Simple, easy to use, doesn’t pop up adds or ask you annoying questions about the app all the time. It’s exactly what I needed. Love it !

This app doesn’t work in Dark mode. Not certain it is related to dark mode. But when entering text, it is white on white so I cannot see what I am entering. Maybe you could make your app responsive to color mode.

Changed my life. I love this! I seriously hated how every budget planner wanted to link all my accounts and do all these complicated calculations. I already know what needs to be done with my money and have my system, I just needed a simplified reference for an allowance system. This changed my world! I downloaded and deleted like 15 apps just trying to find this! So glad I found it :) thank you

No device sync. This is brilliantly simple, and I have no complaints other than I wish it supported multi-device syncing. It would be nice if my wife and I could have access to the same budget at the same time, that was updated in real time. This seems like this could be accomplished with a simple sign in feature.

The best Budget App.. I love this app. I’m awful with finances but with this app I’ve been able to manage a 50% Needs/ 30% Wants/ 20% savings budget. It’s literally the best app on the market in terms of budgeting. I have a checking and a savings account. This allows me to appropriately manage my finances. I’ve been able to but $230 into savings in 2 weeks. That’s more than I’ve put in there in the last 5 months. Thank you very much.

Simple, effective, efficient!. I downloaded like 5 apps before I picked this one. I desperately need to budget, and even though I love color coded and organization—it takes too much time on an app to figure all of that out. I wanted to try the Cash Envelope system, but today I use my debit card more than ever. This app is great because it’s like the electronic version of cash envelopes. Only thing that would be nice, is a way to sync across devices and possibly change the color of the envelopes. Thanks to the developer!

Amazing App. A co worker showed me this several months ago just before I started using the envelope system and now that I have all this money saved up it is getting harder to keep track of it. This is by far the easiest app to use and is extremely simple. And unnecessary crap clogging the screen.

Just what I was looking for!. I keep track of my budget on an excel spreadsheet that’s on my laptop. I wanted something on my phone where I could track my envelopes at any given time. This is simple and exactly what I was looking for!

Divide folders into folders/categories. I love this app! It keeps track of all my different needs for spending cash! I do wish I could divide folders into categories or bigger folders

Just like the name says. A no-frills “envelope budgeting” app for anyone who just wants an alternative to actual envelopes. Works offline without signup or bank connections. The best improvements would be a standard “delete and reorder” UI and a way to rename accounts.

So simple and beautiful!. I was looking for the simplest and cleanest budgeting app I could find! I downloaded so many to try and didn’t like any. I just wanted a few categories this time instead of 6 something categories with dozens of sub categories. I can choose ANY category I want! It’s clean! It’s simple! It’s absolutely perfect! Wow amazing!. I downloaded about 6 budget apps before I found this one. They were all so wrong for my needs so I was so happy to find one so freaking simple. It's so simple! So easy, absolutely no extra features, I love it.

Super easy to use. I’ve been installing numerous budgeting apps but none of which seem to be tracking the way this app does. It allows me to set a max goal to spend on certain categories and subtract expense as I go, so that by the end of the month, I can see if I’m overspending or if I have additional saving. Something so simple yet it appears all these other apps don’t have. This is by far the best app with such simplicity

Beautifully simple. If you are looking for a simple -and free- way to track spending in your budget, check out this app. It is great for those using the envelope system. You easily create envelopes and add in starting cash. After that, you enter expenses and subtract them. When it’s time to add more money, you just enter the amount and click “Add”. This is a perfect starter app for those trying to embrace the envelope system, or struggling to track cash expenses. It would be a terrific app for teens when they get their first job. You see 25 of your most recent transactions in each envelope. It does not integrate with bank accounts at this time - but I think that is a bonus for cyber safety.

Awesome App!!. Love this app! It really is SIMPLE & convenient, so easy to keep track of my spending!!! Would be nice if we could change the color of the envelopes though😊.

This app is perfect. I have been on the hunt for a simple budget app and this fit the bill. No fancy bells and whistles. Just how much per category and and how much is left at the top is perfect. The only suggestion I would have would maybe be a date inclusion when there is an expense added but using the notes field help with that so I really can’t complain. Thank you!!

I like it a lot!. I really like this app. Thank you to the developer. It’s free and simple. I did a preliminary budget for my family and yesterday and I think it will be a game changer for me and saving/budgeting. Only 2 things that would be useful 2 me is something being sent to my email in case I lose my phone and my budget goes down the drain, so I can still access it and the ability to sync it with my husbands app so we can see real time what we each are doing. But I understand this app is great for its simplicity so I can appreciate that! Update: one more suggestion. If at the top it gave the total amount budgeted vs total spent, that calculation would be very helpful! Overall good app.

Life Savor!. The greatest app out there!!! I already have a budget spreadsheet “that my sister created for me” where I keep track of what’s going out and coming in each month. I also have the paper envelopes but I found myself printing them each month “extremely wasteful”. So I kept searching for something that could go along with my paper envelopes “I’m learning to spend cash instead of swiping my card, I’M A SWIPER” and my budget spreadsheet without all the extra stuff. I’m a very simple person and needed something simple. Then today I stumbled across your app. When I say I’m truly thankful!!! Beyond thankful!! My goal this year was to become financially discipline before I turn 30 and learn to save responsibly for my future. This app is everything I need. Simple and fun!! Thank you again.

Finally found what I needed! Awesome!. Too many difficult to use apps! I just wanted something to create monthly spending categories, track my spending with store names to help me remember, and most importantly, show me how much I have left in each category as the month progresses to keep me on track. Exactly what I was looking for. This app was exactly what I was looking for. It’s a electronic version of the paper envelopes. I love how simple it is compared to other apps. Personally it actually helps me keeping my money organized and helping me in how to spend it.

Simple. This is very easy to use, however it would be better if it listed dates transactions were entered and if there was an option for making notes.

Perfect for my needs. I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for this budgeting app! I needed an app that would let me add money to my envelopes on the fly and wouldn’t automatically fill them on a specific time schedule, as I don’t get paid or budget that way. This is simple and perfect!

Perfect if one feature was added. This app is exactly what I needed after the one I was using for years changed. I love the simplicity and I like not having to add my bank acct to it. I just needed something to track on the go! The one thing that would make this app PERFECT would be to have the ability to write a memo or small note with your transactions so you remember what you spent your money on. Love it!. Love the simplicity of this app! The only thing I would change would be to make it easily shareable with my husband so that we could each add expenses to each envelope.

It Works!. I’ve tried other app’s with lots of bells and whistles that I didn’t need. In it’s simplicity, this app has just enough bells and whistles to allow flexibility and ease of understanding. When u make a purchase, log it in right at the store without having to flip thru screens until u find the right one.

Great, simple envelope budgeting app!. I was looking for an app that was as close to using physical envelopes for budgeting as I could. I did not want the bells and whistles. This app met that need entirely! You create envelopes, as many as you need, you name the envelopes and assign a color. Then you can enter dollar amounts going in and out. The envelope will display the total balance left.The only thing I wish I could do was sort the envelopes. Once you create them they’re kind of stuck in the order of creation. Overall great app though!!
