A powerful story. This is definitely not a “game”. It’s a story, and an incredible one at that. When I finally reach the end I was deeply moved. Not all stories are in books or movies. Some stories are far from lawyers.
Need help. I am unable to adjust any of the settings. I have no sound, very sluggish reading, and nothing that really holds my interest. How do I add the music etc?
So boring. All I can say is this was a total waste of time and money. Worst game ever. Like pulling teeth. So slow my anxiety level was rising instead of falling. Deleted it off my device before I could even finish the “game”. Ugh
It's good. Real real good ❤️
Love, so beautiful. This game is making me tear up as I write this. I love this game and I highly recommend this. I love it.
A game I’ll always remember. What a wonderful experience, very deep and thoughtful, I only wish it would last longer, but that is a non issue. Buy this game and reward yourself... memorable for sure ...
Its ok. Theres a deer so thats good
Moved to tears. First things first, this is not a game. It makes you think and interpret life, so don't spend the money if you were looking for younger kids. By the message it conveys is so beautiful. I was in tears by the end because I could relate to it so much. Highly recommend and is definitely worth the money
Simply beautiful.. Overwhelmed with emotions.. This game is a work of art. It fills you with tons of emotions.. And makes you wonder what life REALLY is! The story is priceless, the conversations are poetic, and when it all ends, you feel sad that it's over. I couldn't put down my iPad for an hour! I still feel dazzled over it all. I honestly don't know if I should be happy.. or sad! Anyways.. I should stop writing down a bunch of junk and just say, this game is great and I HIGHLY recommend you play it 👍
Absolutely gorgeous. This is truly a work of art. I downloaded this game because of the cool art style, talking deer, and mention of a subject I’m learning in school- transcendentalism. I couldn’t have asked for a better game. Again, this game is a work of art.
Great game!. Love this game! Been playing it on and off throughout the pandemic, okay mostly not playing it, though I have a game on my phone and another on my iPad for the subtle differences. It’s a great distraction and I feel a little bit better after 15 minutes or so.
Could this be any slower?. Nothing like paying $2.99 f or a LONG drawn out strange experience. Only interaction is touching a bubble response that may or may not be what your feeling. It’s boring, so boring.... the screen stays the same a rarely changes! I never got to the turtle as the other player experienced, but from his review seems I didn’t miss much more than wishing I could get my money back and the 20 min of my life back! Don’t waste your money!
Short but sweet.. What an experience. This game (if you can even call it that), is an experience that forces you to think about life. It makes you connect your emotions to the characters it introduces to you, and when it’s over you’re left thinking. I wish it was longer, but Far From Noise will always hold a sentimental place in my heart.
Philosophical and heart wrenching. I absolutely recommend this... I hesitate to even call it a game. The scenery and dialogue is incredible. The meaning of life and living in solitude is explored. It covers so many ideas be it existentialism or transcendentalism. I hope if I’m ever on tightrope I could have that sort of content and thought.
Terrible and not worth it.. It felt very boring and depressing. A waste of money.
Overheated. This app heated my iPhone 8 Plus like it was a skillet on Sunday morning! Too afraid to play with it any more. What a waste!
This game gave me an existential crisis. Got free therapy from a deer who cured my depression. Thanks
Not worth it. I’m a big fan of games with narrative and choices but this lacked so much. It was BORING, and this is coming from someone who really enjoys philosophy. It was predictable, and the choices didn’t really change much of the outcome. I just kept playing waiting for the narrative to get better, it didn’t. Save your 3 bucks.
Yawwnnn.... Could be good if it didn’t go so freaking slow...yawn, I want something to be happening here along with the positivity
Interesting. Tries a bit too hard to be profound but misses the mark about 60% of the time. Not a bad game. Not worth the 30 mins it takes to play nor worth starting again to see a different outcome if there is one. They may be onto something and a longer but more interactive or involved game would help a lot.
Delightful. This experience transforms your mental state to a place of peace and enlightenment!
What an ingenious iPad Pro App. What a wonderful and interactive way to bring calm and sense of self to ones own self than with this App! I gotta say that the version for iPad Pro 2nd Gen and the iPhone X do the graphics and sounds the proper device to optimally use the App! Worth the small cost!
Very Resonant. If you’re looking for a game, this is not it. I found it heated my phone as someone else commented, and the interaction is minimal, and I would guess that there are not multiple “endings” to be had as there are in “choices” games. But this is not a game. In my experience “playing” through, this wasn’t the point. I found the whole experience to be profoundly allegorical. I found metaphor after metaphor in the discussion between the driver and his environment. I’m sure I missed some as the authors have shown admirable restraint from making every sentiment explicit. While I wouldn’t call the characters complex, the ideas and perspectives were often immediately relatable. The characters are clearly not the point, but rather the story they act in and the existence they discuss. The narrative also forced some perspectives that initially felt more alien (irrational fears of material creatures primarily) but was able to bring things back to this space of relevance without fail. This is a well tailored piece of art that very successfully resonated with my philosophical side. I feel no need to immediately replay it, but I am very much looking forward to discovering how I relate to the journey a year or so from now when it crosses my mind to rediscover it. To the developers: thank you for a wonderful experience. I wish I could articulate my thoughts and feelings as well as you have in this piece of art.
Phenomenal!. Highly recommend this gorgeous, immersive game! Nothing like it!
Not much to it. Not much of a story. If you like a lot of pseudo-philosophical interactions, think Star Wars Jedi type stuff, then this is the app for you. Many adventure story apps use visual and written media to tell a story and allow the user to interact. This doesn’t. Single scene. Rudimentary graphics. Dialog balloons. No real advancement of a story. Same ocean background sound the whole time too. Really not much here. Too bad because the description makes it seem like it will be thought provoking and interesting. It is neither. It also is a major battery drain for some reason. It pulls current like no other app I have seen. And it isn’t even a fast action game with physics. Severely overpriced for what it is.
I couldn’t... I did not read the reviews for this game, I did not even read the description really. It was recommended on my game page and on sale so I purchased it. It is one of the most memorial games I’ve played to date. I was very, very surprised by the ending.
Nice, but. Really enjoy this but it has drained my iPod Touch battery twice and I still have not finished it once. Also gets incredibly hot. It will not even open on my iPad. Probably would give it five without the issues
Amazing app. Forget what the others say ;) This work of art is truly amazing, while defiantly not a game; it is totally worth the price!
Played for 20 minutes. It's really pretty, and the sound is awesome... but the story is painfully slow. 20 minutes in and I'm just wondering what button I have to push to toss the car in the water. No character has been developed, no plot moved forward.
Beautiful. A meditative and philosophical delight.
My Life Is A Lie. The whole experience dismantles and then rebuilds your entire view of life. At a point in life where I care about nothing, it taught me that "nothing" is everything. Sick game.
Amazing. I love the art style of this game, and I was really submerged in the game, I played for about an hour and a half and didn’t even realize. I also like the fact that it gives you different emotions every second of it, one moment it’s happy, another you’re on the edge of your seat.. or.. cliff.. It was money well spent
A bug to ruin the game.. First and foremost, this is a promising experience (You’d be hard-pressed to call this a game) - but a couple of fundamental issues exist that prevent me from enjoying the narrative. These are as follows: 1) On my iPhone SE, playing for any length of time makes my phone REALLY hot, for a game that demands time and patience to experience, this is a bit of a deal breaker. Turning on low graphics in the options menu helps this slightly. 2) In the scene with the frog and the turtle, I can tell (from the dialogue) that the turtle is supposed to take the frog on a taxi ride; however in my version the pair just sit statically, doing nothing, while the dialogue ticks on. Hmm. At point “2” I turned the game off since I then couldn’t be sure if I was missing anything or not. A shame, because this entirely ruined the pace and experience of the journey. I would definitely want to finish the game, but with some animations or sequences clearly not working - I can’t see the reason to bother. In conclusion, this is a beautiful and novel (no pun intended) idea, but one that needs to work smoothly to be articulated properly - which was not the case for me. In such a carefully executed app, any break in the narrative utterly damages the experience. It’s a shame, because I am at a point in my life not unlike the woman in the game, on a precipice between life and death. I was hoping this game would provide some context, or comfort - but it was unable to.
Meh. Kind of hard to be a philosophical masterpiece when the game forces you into the perspective of a stereotypical white girl who pretty much repeats the same three phrases, “OH MY GOD”, “You could get me a latte”, and “I’m doomed, it’s over for me” just written differently. About halfway through I couldn’t force myself to play because the protagonists lines were too uninteresting and though there are many choices the deer will nod them off by saying perhaps and then saying whatever he was going on about anyway. Not worth three bucks, really missed the shot at being deep and meaningful
Worth it. I also have clinical depression and anxiety, so my answers tended to reflect that, but I enjoyed the outcome. I felt it was beautiful and fitting. That’s just me, but I wanted to add that for anyone that was worried about downloading this. It’s definitely not the happiest experience, but I cried and felt less alone afterwards.
Simply Beautiful. Not so much a game as interactive art / storytelling, which I found emotionally deep and rewarding. I highly recommended the experience. Don't come into it with any particular expectations, and you will come away happy.
Mostly great. I would have given this 5 stars, except for one major issue I have with it. I originally watched a play through of this game, and loved it so much that I decided to buy it for myself when I’m feeling anxious and depressed. It is very relaxing and emotional and the artwork is beautiful. **Vague spoilers ahead** The one issue I have with it is if you give negative answers too much, it seems like the game gives up on you and you get a really depressing ending. As someone with depression, it was kind of shocking to me since I had just been honest with my answers, and it felt like the game was trying to tell me that I was beyond helping or saving. **Vague spoilers end** So I do not recommend this game if you have clinical depression. It might end up making you feel worse.
Annoying. I get it, IT doesn’t go anywhere. You are as stuck as the schmuck in the car while your phone heats up. Realizations when facing death. Hardly.
Too slow, even for a narrative game. I usually love narrative games, but this was like listening to a long monologue about existence from someone who loves the sound of their own voice with no opportunity to contribute to the narrative. The protagonist dialog choices were all throw-away lines, so the point really does seem to be to read someone else's stream of consciousness writing. And after half an hour of playing it, I don't feel like anything developed or moved forward. It gets two stars for being really pretty, and for being a neat idea that was just poorly executed in my opinion.
Too Hot. I love the game, but it literally makes my phone overheat after only playing for 10 minutes.
Amazing.. First off, this really isn’t a “game.” It’s even less interactive than so-called “walking sims.” You have dialogue choices and that’s it. But that’s really not what this experience is about. If you want gameplay you’re in the wrong place, and it irks me so many people have slammed this game for being “boring.” IT IS NOT A GAME. How did anyone spend money on this without realizing what they were getting into?! To those folks, it’s your own fault for not being more discerning. This is a story. A slow and thoughtful one that requires patience. At times it is even quite funny. But it can also be emotionally crushing. If you are willing to immerse yourself in the experience and take the story at its own pace, you will discover something moving, wonderful, intense, sad, and thought-provoking. I’ve rarely in my life has such a strong emotional reaction to a piece of media as I did to this. Absolutely 100% recommended for anyone interested in a bittersweet story about one’s own meaning and place in the world.
A beautiful experience. This type of game might not be for everyone, but for people that appreciate the real thought beauty and time put in to this game its incredible. I will never forget the message i got from this game, if you dont mind a more slow paced experience that has you more of a spectator i would by all means recommend this game. I would love to see more stuff like this in the future
Beautiful and Healing. Enjoyed the story line and lessons within.

Quite a lovely game. You can tell alot of love and hardwork went into this game and the message feels so genuine and freeing ~
Far From Noise is Elegantly Beautiful. Let’s start by saying that this game is mesmerizing. A positively excellent story game with stunning visuals provided most games with impressive visuals tend to lag, this game is designed on simplicity, but using it to their full advantage. The story was longer that I thought; thinking this was going to be a two minute experience, I was a blown away by the length. The concept of you and a deer exchanging dialog about life and death and the meaning and value of things is brilliantly executed. Far From Noise displays a captivating story with thoughtful writing and really gets the player to stop and think, it’s calming music adds so much to the world and I would not play this game without headphones. This game is perfect for what it is and if you’re looking for a truly mesmerizing story, trust me, it’s well worth the money.
Ablosutley Positively Wondrous and peaceful. If you are feeling down, or even stressed, this is the game for you, I've found many of the endings, most are happy... Somewhat... But truly if you are looking for a relaxing game, this is it.
Far from noise. The most stupid and waste of time app I have ever experienced! Just tap away to read them speak!!
Not bad.. It’s poetic and lovely, but I couldn’t help thinking there should be a bit more to it.
Absolutely amazing. Anyone who's feeling down, anxious, upset - or even those who aren't... This game is one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced on a phone. Thank you guys so much for creating this.
Not sure. Neat concept but the story drags way too long, the dialog is poorly written and philosophical concepts are underwhelming. Not bad if the app was free, but not worth paying for.
