So amazing - ALMOST 5 stars. I’ve been using this for about a month as a replacement to a paper planner. I’ve tried a lot of to-do apps and this one is almost perfect. My only complaints are that the iPhone and iPad apps are very slow at syncing with each other (when other apps I use do not have this issue), so it could look like I have to-do’s on my iPad that I actually completed days ago on my iPhone. This happens really often, about 50% of the time. The other knock is that, unlike their Journal app, there is no native Mac app and the web version they point you to is very, very limited. Our organization runs on Mac and iOS, so being able to pull this into our workflow would be very helpful. That said, I’m going to stick with it for now and see if they can iron some of these things out, because it really is a great app.

Unfortunately, immediate text size issue after first install. At first I thought everything looked good but without any preference changes at all including that text size preference, most of my reminders imported from apples reminders list, the text doesn’t fit properly and gets cut off on the top and the bottom in the title line (schedule view only). Doesn’t happen to all of them but to most of them. About the only way I can see the full text for those lines is to set the actions preference text size to the smallest size. I was initially using the system size setting and that didn’t work either even using a few different system font sizes. Hard to get to know the app when that’s the first thing you see. Update: quick response from developer. Uninstalled and reinstalled app with new version and problem went away. Changing from two stars to four. Need more time to evaluate other features now. Update: problem with text being cutoff on top and bottom is back with latest version. Back to two stars. And since this seems pretty basic, I’m down evaluating it, at least for now.

Almost everything I could want. This app is undoubtedly one of the best of its kind on the App Store, well worth its twelve dollar-per-year price tag. It’s intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interface combined with its extensive amount of organizational tools are engaging and satisfying to use. When taken in combination with how this app pairs and syncs with the calendar app, Timepage, both have found permanent homes in my home bar. In future updates I would love to see sharable lists for instances like group work projects or accountability in task completion, in addition to being able to set multiple reminders for tasks across multiple days and times. My compliments to the developers, and my wholehearted recommendation to anyone considering this app/these apps. The small investment is well worth the reward of helping organize your productivity.

wanted to love it. So I really wanted to love this app. The design is beautiful and I love the colors and in theory it does what I need but the bugs bother me. Like why my lists won’t stay in order. Sometimes I complete something and it doesn’t catch it or for some reason things appear twice on a list that I know I didn’t add twice. I was trying to use this app and timepage to track my bills. But when I look at the lists in actions the bills are never in order by date (like seriously how is there no option on how to sort your list) and since I have items repeating somehow they double up? It’s strange and unreliable making it not worth it. If you’re making random lists maybe this app is okay but not if you need things sorted out and reoccurring.

Solid app to keep on track(kinda rhymes too). I never grew up being organized. This app has helped keep me on track. Especially when people want to plan something I can take out my phone and type it quickly in the task app and then schedule for later. I love being to see the bigger picture of what I need to do for the week on the Timepage (calendar portion). Moleskin did a phenomenal job with ease of moving tasks to different days. I really like being able to move a task around to create priorities. It’s just easier seeing the list then having to write which is supper important. If I need to change the task or add to it, it’s super easy. It’s worth the annual subscription. Seriously worth the value to get all three apps in the bundle. There is a free drawing app for people who like to doodle. I don’t but that’s not to take anything away from Moleskin. You guys are doing it right. Thanks from a more organized dude.

WOW. I cannot put into words how much I enjoy this app! I have NEVER purchased an app until now; there are just too many that are free and I am a cheapo. This app, however, cannot be compared to any other. As a manager with hundreds of little things to keep up with, on top of having ADHD, the actions app is truly life changing! I’m also easily frustrated with complex technology; even though scheduling/customizing recurring reminders/tasks took a minute to figure out, the actions app is extremely easy to use! I used to just make lists in my notes app on my iPhone; now, I put EVERYTHING in my actions app!! You can make lists for anything, add notes to each task if needed, and you don’t have to schedule them until you’re ready. Speaking of scheduling, you can set a custom day for each task/reminder. You can also set reminders on the day of and head of time! I set recurring reminders that repeat monthly/weekly/yearly for bills, appointments, birthdays, etc. My lists are: Grocery, Order, To Do ASAP, To Do Later, Goals, Miscellaneous, & Work. It has been so beneficial to my personal life that I decided to purchase it for all of the company phones at work! For the price of one meal at a cheap restaurant, you can have mind blowing organization and productivity. Why would you not, at the very least, test out the free trial??? (Ps. Sorry for the novel. Lol)

New updates are both great and frustrating. I want to start by saying that this is my all time favorite to do list app and there are some new updates that I absolutely love (like the checklists and new colors). That said, some things remain frustrating and new bugs appeared with the latest updates. Here are my main issues: Synching : this is extremely frustrating and a new bug. When I use the browser version on my laptop and then open the app on my phone, it immediately undoes everything I’ve done on the browser version and reverts back to how it was before. Order: for some reason, the order of items added later in the week changes constantly and I’m real time. I can see the items moving place and there’s no way to halt or change it. This real time change is new. Up until now, the browser version would also change the order anytime I refreshed the page (super frustrating too). Crashes: the app crashes several times a day No desktop app: I’ve been hoping for this feature for a long time and continue to hope it’ll be added soon Even with those issues, I’m glad i paid for it and I’d still recommend this app, so I’m leaving this review in the hopes that the developers will see it and be able to fix these bugs that make an otherwise fantastic app just a bit faulty. And to whoever designed the app visually, great job!

Minimal, in a good way. Design can make/break a tool and Moleskine's approach here offers enough to keep me focused without being distracting. I like the responsiveness of the app (ie the sounds and vibrations) when I interact with it. Synchronization with desktop is good. Not too fond of all the data being gathered but I have to (cautiously) take moleskine at its word that they're not selling the info. Would like to see infinitely nestable to-dos and/or lists since sometimes I have larger projects that are more involved. I'd also like the option to change what day is the end of a week. Actions seems to think my weeks end on Saturday, but it's Sunday for me.

Just what I need. This is exactly what I need. As someone who loves lists, it can become easily overwhelming to have a list. This removes that by making it really simple and easy to task your things to do to a single day, single view. One of my favorite features is if you don’t complete a task, it automatically carries over to the next day. Right now I still use Wunderlist as more of my “large list”, where this is my go to to execute those tasks. One thing I like about wunderlist is they have check lists inside each event, where this Only has a notes field. That is not enough to deduct a star, this is a really great app.

The most beautiful app I’ve ever used. I was looking for an app that I can use on my new Apple Watch as a school homework planner mixed with reminders for other stuff (buy groceries, go to the gym, etc) I stumbled upon this and at first I almost deleted it immediately because I never buy apps (especially subscription apps, and at $12!) but I’m so glad I didn’t delete it, because after giving it a shot with the free trial I bought it after like 10 minutes. It’s honestly perfect for what I want but more than that the app design is, just, wow. I’m a Computer Science major and I aspire to be able to make applications as user-friendly, clean, and just overall well-designed as this. Only thing I’d like to see is the ability to add times to tasks, not just dates. Other than that, it’s an A+!

Great, but mildly frustrating. I was on the search for the best todo list app out there, and after trying all of the popular ones, plus a bunch more, this was the one I settled on and liked the most. It had a super clean, modern, and easy to use design. I also love that it syncs with TimePage and it even has a browser version. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone looking for a solid todo list. However, there are two things that are mildly frustrating. One, it doesn’t sync very well with TimePage. It’s very slow to sync across apps and often times if I mark an action complete on either app, it will still list it as needing to be completed until I close out the app and relaunch it. Two, you can add steps to actions (as you can do with literally any other todo list app). If they fixed those two things, it’d be perfect.

Absolutely NEEDS location reminders and priority. For the most part, the greatest reason I chose the $12 subscription for Moleskine Actions over the free Reminders app by Apple, is because of the alluring aesthetics. That’s enough for me in all honesty. My biggest problem with Moleskine Actions, though, is how there are fewer options for customising the reminders. The thing that I love about Apple’s app is how there are options to add location reminding and various priority settings. Along with that, I also very much like the extensive “theme” customisation offered in the Timepage app, and syncing themes would be very nice. If these options could be added to the program, that would be greatly appreciated and likely increase the quality value of the app. P.S. whenever I schedule an overly-complicated task such as “Work on Novel every Wednesday Thursday and Friday from December 22 to January 8”, the app crashes.

Time to move on. It is time to move on. I have had this app for almost two years now. I also have their calendar app TimePage. They both used to work pretty well. As they add more and more stuff and functionality to be and look cooler, the bugs just increase. Now it freezes every time I open it, it freezes in the middle of typing new actions (or new events in TimePage), syncing has just gotten worse and is also a daily problem (and I don’t even have an Apple watch), and actions that are supposed to repeat disappear. I have an iPhone XS and a recent iPad Pro running the latest system updates. Hardware and operating system is not the problem. I have contacted the developer through support a number of times over the last 6 or so months. Responses include questions and intentions and nothing gets better. But here comes another update with more cool stuff! Priority one is that it works flawlessly. The cool additional stuff doesn’t matter until it just works. Seems to be a theme with their apps - keep adding more stuff as basic performance degrades. I have to question their testing protocols. Perhaps we the customers are their testing protocol. The apps has a 4.7 rating over it’s life. Go sort reviews by most recent and make your own determination. They are clearly pretty apps. You will quickly get frustrated. Look elsewhere.

Love this app. It’s beautiful and I love how it works with TimePage. I do wish the actions were listed in the order in which I have given them a reminder time, rather than the order in which I added them. Even better if they could slide in between my events on TimePage according to their reminder time. I choose a reminder time based on when I think I will have a few minutes to get a particular task done, and it would be nice to have that visually represented. Or it might be nice if I could attach a time commitment estimate to an action, so that if I am going through my day and I find 15 minutes unexpectedly, I can tackle something that I have already determined will take 15 mins or less.

Good app but NOT comprehensive. It’s a great to-do list app with good functionality and personalization. I really like how well it works with Timepage app and the rollover function. This app’s schedule function is quite intuitive and i find it to be helpful and effective. I find that once I put my tasks in and set the due date and reminders it does really well at making sure my task isn’t forgotten about but also isn’t annoying and causing me to be less productive as other apps do. There are things about this app that I am not as fond of such as bottom task bar. The bottom bar is awkward because the icon you press for the settings is in the bottom left hand corner and the settings menu appears on the right side of the page when you click on it along with various other oddly placed icons. Also the list function is very separated and the transition takes away functionality from the lists. My last negative is that I have trouble with setting the reminders. I want to set my self like every other day reminders in advance of the task and it’s time consuming to do. Also I found that this app was not capable of functioning as a homework assignment list and as a life planner. Overall it works well for helping you get things done on a time schedule but I wouldn’t call it an all in one. I would be really interested in a academic comprehensive version from this developer!

Gorgeous UI, excellent widgets, just wish MacOS integration were stronger. I’m an unabashed UI / UX snob. I pixel peep. Moleskine’s apps are as good as they come. Using Actions and Timepage on iOS approaches the sublime. Even though I rely on other calendar apps for the heavy lifting, I can’t bring myself to not fill my iPhone and iPad home screens with Moleskine widgets, they’re just that gorgeous / great. So it’s a real heckin’ bummer that the MacOS side is so half-baked! Timepage on MacOS is bug-ridden, doesn’t come with these gorgeous widgets, and though it has Actions integration, that’s a pale substitute for a standalone Actions app! Moleskine, good sirs, you are on the precipice of greatness. Take the leap!

Good apps, with barriers. ETA: I subscribed. These are good apps, so I updated the stars. Better payment options would be great. I’ve been looking for good scheduling and calendar apps, and Moleskine’s Actions and Timepage seem to be good ones. A subscription model is a turn off for me—with so many apps going subscription I have to be judicious. Making Actions and Timepage separate subscriptions is a blunder. There needs to be a single subscription to cover the integrated apps, for those who want it. That said, my employer is willing to cover an initial yearly subscription for each so I can try them and report back to the group. Great! I go to the product website to make an account and set up the subscription. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do this. Instead, it looks like you have to it from the app and the only way I can pay is by having my personal iTunes account billed (that is, after all, the iTunes account signed in on my devices). I’ll keep an eye on this one and if they fix some of these issues I may be back. The other thing I’d like to see is a desktop app or at least a web interface.

The best app for lists.. I love this app and Moleskine’s other scheduling app, Timepage. They’re intuitive and beautiful and don’t make me annoyed—normal scheduling apps drive me nuts when I’m setting the reminder alarms, dates, etc. I hate fuss. I even stopped using my phone for scheduling and just went back to pen and paper to avoid it! But these apps take the fuss away and feel great to use. They’re easier than getting out a planner, believe it or not. I was thinking about creating a no-fuss scheduling app since there were none a few years ago. The biggest tech companies are still completely missing the mark about quick, intuitive and stylish schedulers (how does that happen? These guys need more ergonomics-focused people on their teams for sure.) Glad to see I don’t have to bother anymore! The only issue I’m having is that Actions is not “connecting”, whatever that means. Basically, I subscribed to the app for a year with my Apple ID but the intro pages that explain how to the use the app still come up every single time I open the app new... at least once a day or any time after I’ve manually quit the app. It says something about not having a network connection... I don’t understand because I’m connected to the internet and I’ve gone through all the settings trying to resolve the problem. May have to do with the fact that I live outside the U.S.? This glitch (is it a glitch?) is annoying, but the app is so valuable I don’t care that much.

Beautiful to-do app with 1 shortcoming. The Actions interface is beautiful, the functionality seems solid far, and it is a great addition to the moleskine suite. The only thing I’d request is an option for completed subtasks to clear/archive or descend to the bottom. Right now, it seems checked off subtasks just remain in place. It’d be nice if we could customize this reaction in settings to sort by completion status or to clear the subtask completely. This is a more pronounced inconvenience for lists like groceries. The UX would be more streamlined and efficient if I didn’t have to go in and manually delete or uncheck items amidst newly added items. It would also help me track items I’m grabbing at the store in real time; currently I have to scroll through the entire list looking for unchecked items rather than having incomplete items rank towards the top.

Getting worse instead of better. Most recent update was supposed to “improve performance” of the app. Instead, it has almost completely bricked it. I run Actions on a brand new iPad Pro, and the performance is worse after the update; the app now lags for almost 60 seconds before updating simple task changes like a reminder time change. Moleskine has been promising for a YEAR that a version for Mac OS/Web is coming so we can actually see our tasks across all devices, and they have gone radio-silent and that version is still not released. And, Actions STILL cannot sync with iCloud reminders. So, while I think there are some apps that can ethically-justify charging a subscription fee to defray the costs of continuously-improving the app, Actions is NOT one of them. I would discourage anyone not already using this buggy app from starting to use it now. I hope Moleskine gets their act together because the app has a lot of potential, but it just doesn’t work well now.

Aspirational but barely functional. I love the idea of the clean organized interface with interconnected tools, however, I get numerous bugs that ruin the experience. I almost gave up just getting my subscription to be recognized in each of the tools. After that I’ve seen numerous issues where I have to either restart or move things around to force it to update things that are showing incorrectly. I just started with this today, so I am going to persevere in the hopes that I overcome and learn to avoid The issues enough to enjoy the promise that this app has. I really encourage moleskine to invest in making this more solid and adding a few key features around reminders and keep making this better.

Good, Not for Prime Time. Firstly, the app does everything it advertises. However, one time purchase apps such as Doo over nagging alerts and others provide location reminders. Memento isn’t as attractive, but it is accurate and provides basic functions that the iPhone iOS reminders will do for free. Until this app includes basic iOS functions, I.e location reminders and nagging alerts, I don’t see a $12 yearly value. If the features I mentioned aren’t important and shinning colors are, this app is for you. Again, the app functions as advertised. I feel that people get caught up in aesthetics too much and accept a basic lack of practicality when doing so.

Beautiful but missing important feature. It’s a beautiful app, as are all Moleskine products (software and “hardware”), but I can’t use it as my default to-do app. Add one feature: give me the ability to add a checklist to any action card — and you would have a totally satisfied customer. As an example of what I mean: let’s say I have a list called Groceries. In that list I have a card for Dairy and a card for Bread. On the Dairy card, I have a checklist with the items: milk; cottage cheese; yogurt; cheddar. On the Bread card, I have sandwich bread; bagels; croisssants. If I had to create a separate card for each of those individual items, the list would quickly become impossible to navigate. With it: a piece of cake. Which goes on the Dessert card.

Great App but missing basic features. As the title says - this is a great app, I like the organization and all the current features and upcoming ones! But that said, this app last many basic features that all other list/reminder apps include, the chief most is badges!!! Like how can you design a reminders app that doesn’t show on the Home Screen app icon that you have outstanding reminders!! If you miss the notification you set, then there is nothing to tell you that you have a current/outstanding action, even when you open the app, the overdue or missed ones look just like everything else. I would give this app 5 stars if they could just add the basic/standard features that other apps have.

Unusable syncing. The syncing just doesn’t work. I mostly use the Apple Watch version and every time I open Actions up on my iPad it iPhone it’s filled with garbage. The phone and tablet don’t even stay synced together. I have to constantly do the same thing I already did on my watch on one of the other devices. Sometimes I just leave the third device in whatever stare it’s in and sometimes I reinstall it since that’s apparently the only way to “force” it to realize that the data it’s displaying is not the data on the server. The only reason I’ve put up with this for so long is because I didn’t start having issues until after I migrated my entire life into Actions and it doesn’t offer any type of sync to the built in app. If you plan on using Actions on more than one device, I would suggest you don’t. Use another app. It reminds me of a good video game with poor controls. Sure it would be amazing, if you could only use it. But the thing that allows you to use it is broken.

5 Star design 2 star price. I know Moleskine needs to make money. I get it. But charging a second $12 a year on top of the $12 if you already use Timepage is a bit much. That also means Moleskine believes both apps have equal value, which I’m just not sure is true. I’ve seen a dev response that explains that Apple doesn’t allow bundling, but that’s an awfully misleading answer and puts the owness on Apple for something Moleskine could accommodate. Charge a few more dollars a month total and make both Timepage and Actions available for subscribers. Done. Both apps already use the same account info anyway. It also makes more sense from a marketing perspective to pay a slightly higher subscription price but get access to all of Moleskine’s apps (as I’m sure more will come in the future). That’s a much easier sell when you pit Actions against the competition, which kind of blows it away in terms of functionality.

Gorgeous, but.... The team at Molskine have done another superb job of making information feel simple and approachable, and easy to see *and understand* at a glance. That’s no small task, and the work they’ve done here with Actions (and earlier with Timepage) is absolutely superb. However... The interaction between Lists and Tasks is identical to what’s in iOS’ Reminders, but they don’t just access that iCloud data (as they do with Calendars in Timepage), they make their own. When making your own that point would be to create a better information organization model, but it’s identical. You can’t create a multi-step Task that you want to do today, you have to make a List and then put every Task in that List into your day. There’s no better way to create a slightly more complex task (“make food for the week” could have 7-8 steps you might want to keep order of, but that has to be a List). If there were a slightly more detailed data footprint vs Reminders, I’d love that. Or integration with Reminders, so I could connect to that information in other places too. But lack of both is ... well, it’s really odd. Also, while swiping to mark done is the method on the phone, for some odd reason it’s a long-hold to make the line slide to the side to reveal the Done marker. Swiping to the side to make the line slide to the side would make MUCH more sense - that’s a small detail, yet utterly baffling.

Great app. I’m enjoying using Actions. For a while I was using Picniic because it is a family organizer which can be shared with other family members but I found the to do list features lacking. I like that Actions has easy swiping gestures to complete, delete, reorder, and add a task. I also like that it merges with Timepage. The reminders and lists are very useful. One feature I would like to see is the ability to choose more colors, possibly like the Timepage feature where you can tap a color and choose different shades or saturations. I would want to create a custom color palette that I like as I will be looking at my to do list many times a day. If it’s possible to do this it would be perfect and I would give it five stars! Also looking forward to this app being usable from a browser or my Mac computer and laptop.

Very very good not perfect. Overall, I really like this app for organizing ToDos and projects. It’s easy & intuitive, with great colors. One change I’d love to see is calendar events that get imported have a box or something around them so they’re more obvious. It would make scheduling other tasks easier. The drawbacks are the glitches in repeated tasks. I have a daily one that has a checklist and every day two of the checklist items get put on as separate tasks. And there are a couple of repeated tasks that get duplicated most of the time. I’ve contacted the developer about the first problem but after a lot of back and forth, they said it can’t be happening. It’s still happening.

Going good so far!. I like this better than the Todoist app. I love seeing what I’ve accomplished (crossed off) on my list which is a plus for goal oriented people. I am still in the trial and will post again when I purchase which I think I will do. I also really appreciate the 7 day trial so I can get a feel for how often and the ease at which I interact with the app thru out my day. I also really like the syncing of a calendar option. It’s great to see both my day at a glance plus my todo list. My only issue is that I use pocket life calendar to organize my entire family. There are specific color codes I give to events specific to that family member not just specific calendar as I use a family calendar. With the ACTIONS app you must use their TIMEFRAME calendar system (& pay again for that app) to sync the calendar u use to the App. Its more helpful to me to like to see my colors of the events rather than those of my specific calendars on the ACTIONS schedule page. Is there a way it can sync to just the calendar I use or is it a platform thing that I have to get TIMEFRAME too? I wouldn’t mind paying an in app charge to use just my calendar if that’s possible.

Game changer. Simple, but effective.. The title says it all. I need something more complex than a simple TODO app, but not looking to break the bank to use project management tools centered around teams. This app is perfect. The key is how easy it is to get started and create actions to follow up on. It really is a breeze. It might take a minute to understand how due dates are decoupled from reminders (they’re two separate concepts in this app) but once you understand, it’s very comforting to know you don’t have to constantly change actions that are overdue in order to keep them on your radar. The other key to this app is how visually appealing it is. I definitely get the sense this was designed for iOS/iPadOS and it really is very pretty to open and scan for tasks I can complete throughout the day. I give it 4/5 stars because I’m having no success using its purported natural language feature to automatically create actions with a certain due date. It seems to work well for locations (if you suggest a location, it will suggest actual locations you can select, which is very appreciated), but because there’s a separate Due Date field, the default due date value seems to override whatever due date the natural language filter appears to have selected.

Loved App ... Now Tolerating It ... Hope Fix!. Loved this app, works amazing and recommend to anybody, but now in Actions App when prioritizing and moving unscheduled tasks assigned to the given day, it’s silly touchy. You have to touch it .69 seconds to put it in move mode and to move it up or down in priority. I bat about 40%. So I go to move tasks and it opens up to a partial zoom preview with the option of completing the task or deleting the task. I don’t want to do either. Just want to move it. I share these lists for delegator purposes with key influencers in my org. This is a pain. Not a deal breaker but super annoying, just give us a menu option to prioritize so we can move them around clean and we Gucci, yo. Fix it and back to the all time Task-alendar GOAT! Bet.

Great App. I needed a nice-looking task manager that doesn’t make me hate it because of how bad it looks, and Moleskin Actions definitely has a good interface that keeps me coming back. I love the way tasks are interwoven into the calendar (as they should be) rather than just out on a list somewhere disconnected from all your other info. Helps me use it in my morning routine to review and brief myself for the day! One note: I think an Apple Watch complication feature similar to the “activity circle” complication Things provides would make this my favorite task manager. It’s just nice to have that display so I can see how far I’m at throughout the day in trying to reach my goals.

Persistent problems for me. Very attractive app with great potential. Some of the issues I am having is trying to organize today by sliding cards in an order that I would like to tackle the day only to have regularly scheduled (repeating) cards suddenly drop off the repeat date. Also in the Later section the cards are not organized by Date so a card for June shows first then April card. I try to fix and it drops the repeat or the date all together. Anyway, attractive app but needs some more love. Also the default card with no list is white in color; so i find myself adding to a list just to get it to have color: better would be the ability to have a default color for No List Cards.

Useful for limited purposes. I’m not a big fan of the “tile” interface in general, it uses a lot of space for very little information, and this app uses it exclusively. If you just want to track a couple of especially critical tasks per day and be able to easily track when they’re done, and easily reschedule the ones you missed, this is a nice simple way to do that and integrates with the TimePage app, so it is especially useful if you rely on that routinely to view your integrated schedule. As a general task tracking app though, it is very weak. The views and reporting are very limited, and the interface quickly gets overwhelmed if you have a lot to do or want to plan more than a couple of days ahead. This is a good app for keeping yourself on track for a few focused tasks over a brief period of time. I used it very successfully for example to track my medications and pt sessions every day while recovering from surgery, by planning my routine a week at a time.

A M A Z I N G. i love this app more than words can say. i have struggled my whole life with productivity and motivation ESPECIALLY during quarantine but holy cow this app has been a lifesaver. i’m a minimalist and this app definitely meets my minimalist standards and it is sooo easy to use. not to mention that it is only $12 a YEAR. most productivity apps around around $40 and this was by far my favorite i have tried (even before i knew the price.) you also get a 7-day free trial without having to put in any information or worrying about cancelling before your subscription starts. you get to control whether you want to set specific times for things with reminders, or just use it as a check off list!! i cannot recommend this enough it has honestly CHANGED MY LIFE. (also you can literally change the app icon color - how cool is that!??)

Really Want To Like- Some Back End Flaws. I keep coming back to this app over the years because I really do like the idea of how it works. Between this, and Timepage, it mimics the way I think about my life, scheduling things in my life, and getting things done. However, each time I use it, I find it does not work well with syncing between my devises, and with the reminders and calendar app native to the Apple Ecosystem. Where I have a lot of info stored that I need on any app I use for getting things done. I have tried to fix this, but cannot figure out why tasks I complete and mark as completed in this app does not reflect in the native reminders app, which then shows up again in this app. I came back to it due to a promotion that Moleskin ran while touting improvements to the apps. Frankly, I have not noticed any improvements, but still like the overall idea. Fix this one issue and it will be a five star review for sure.

Lacking with Empty Promises. I really want to give my money and go all in. I would even pay more! As I look through the feature requests they all seem to masked with the hope of “under review”. The one most glaring feature, syncing with Apple Reminders has been in this status for over 5 years. The funny thing is that Moleskine has sister apps that already do this. I proceeded to send an email to ask…. 5 years of “under review” feels a little much, and the response was, great news, this feature is under review with no timeline. Hands down, this ecosystem would be absolutely amazing if the Moleskine team encouraged collaboration between their product teams to make what feels to be a basic feature expectation in this day and age happen. Or, if that is just not going to happen, the company should not hide behind “under review” for over 5 years and keep people hanging. What does this do for brand reputation?

Kudos... and whew...!. I purchased Actions because... well it was Moleskine, and because I already used and loved Timepage. Loved the concept of Actions, and the interface and the design. My one serious reservation was JUST fixed it seems. Until today it made molasses seem speedy, especially after not using it for a few hours. Also, completing repeated tasks took forever for some reason. Now I can give it the 5 stars I hoped to give it. The update said it contained “major” performance improvements. That’s an understatement. I was going to delete the app at the end of this week. Now I’m going to keep it. It is a great app and I’m looking forward to even more functionality. Thanks for giving me a reason to remain a customer.

Why would anyone use this?. I am a huge fan and original adopter of Moleskine’s wonderful Timepage app. The key to Timepage being useful, however, is that it integrates seamlessly with iCloud so things to enter on your iPhone or iPad also appear on your laptop or desktop Mac calendar (I use Fantastical 2, and Timepage integrates perfectly). This is ESSENTIAL for any scheduling, reminder, or organizational App used for productivity. It is a huge and mind-boggling disappointment that ACTIONS does not do the same thing. Plus, Moleskine expects us, even their own loyal Timepage subscribers, to pay an additional subscription fee for ACTIONS when it is not able to be use across platforms. Why would anyone subscribe for a To Do list app that does not show your To Do events/tasks on your laptop or desktop, but only on your mobile devices? It screams out disorganization and will result in confusion and missed tasks/appointments. I will gladly pay for ACTIONS, and WANT to do so, but not until it works with Apple Reminders or they offer an MacOS version. Come on Moleskine, you are better than this!

Love the look. But glitchy.. After 3 days of the trial period I found this app too finicky to pay for. When you create an action it will only apply itself to your schedule tab on the first save. If you edit times or dates after, or add repeats, the change isn’t transferred. I also cannot find a way to transpose the action into Timepage after the initial save. You have to delete it and start over to get access to that feature again. If you are in a rush and want to change things at a more convenient moment you are stuck starting over to get the desired results. There are also too many swiping gestures and it is easy to accidentally delete/complete things while trying to navigate. If these issues were repaired it would probably tip the scales to a 5 star, and convince me to pay, as beyond these issues, I like the flow and appearance of this suite way more than the default Apple line.

Please!. Please make this free for all to use! Not everyone had money to get aids but I def need this app to get my life together. Ask the other ones that are free have nothing compared to this one you can only add one or two things to the other ones. I can’t getnothing done with that. I’m sorry I know you gotta make money but can’t there be an option for others to donate money to help people who need this app but can’t afford it or let me have it then I’ll let you know when I get the money for it. I’ll be honest and let you know. I’m just super short on cash and really have loads I’d stuff that needs done. I only get twenty dollars here and there for gas but I’ll slip it in for this app when I can. If I can. Just consider what I’m saying please. Or make it cheaper. Like 99 cents. Thank you. Congrats on your app

Won’t allow me to subscribe!. I downloaded this app last week and started the free trial. As a high schools AP student, I find that this app was very helpful and kept me organized so when the trial was up, I signed up for the monthly subscription. On the subscription screen, when I pressed continue, a pop up read that I needed to verify my credit card info in my settings. When I pressed continued on the pop up, it directed me to the app store asking for my credit card info. It then redirected me to my settings, and then to the apple ID website. I saw that none of these methods were working. Typing in my credit card info multiple times, my subscription was unsuccessful. I tried to re-enter my credit card info more than 3 times and kept taking me through the same process. I am though, very aware that this could be an issue with apple as well. But I really like this app and I’m highly disappointed that my subscription isn’t processing. I certainly hope that I am not being scammed (of my hard earned money), due to the numerous amount of times I was asked for my credit card info. I really hope that this can be fixed.

I use this thing every day. It’s a great little to-do/list-making app. I use it to keep track of pretty much anything I need or want to do (home improvements, chores, things I want to read later, etc). You also have the ability to set up repeat tasks, which is nice, and I can use it to remind myself to check the mail or take meds, or anything that might easily slip my mind. The only things I kind of wish were available are things like sub-tasks (I don’t want to make a separate item for everything I need to do to do to clean the kitchen, but it would be nice to be able to make a checklist) and being able to hide certain tasks from what ends up being a massive to-do list. I use the app to remind myself and keep track of taking medications (I can easily look back and make sure I took them when I was supposed to), but it would be nice if I could hide those, and other little things like it, until the reminder time so that they don’t clutter up the list throughout the day. Overall a great little app, just a couple of small quality of life things I would like to see someday lol

Mixed feelings. First...I do actually like the Moleskine Timepage/Actions/Flow suite. The widgets are fantastic and have revolutionized how I organize my phone and day. But there’s a huge fatal flaw...it does not sync with Apple Reminders. And it is a little bit clunky moving between the apps. What I really don’t understand is why Moleskine has Moleskine Journey which seems to compete with Timepage/Actions/Flow, but seamlessly puts all 3 functions together which is my primary complaint with the suite of apps...AND it *does* sync with Apple Reminders, so why doesn’t Actions? It would be amazing if they would marry the journal style functions of Journey with the rest of the suit, but as it is, it appears to be a standalone product that competes with their star product(s) Timepage/Actions/Flow. Add Reminders syncing and full actions functionality in the time stream and it would be truly useful. I do like the 2 presentations of lists as either pages or cards, but I’d *really really* love to see them switch the project/list cards to little Moleskine notebooks that open with customizable cover artwork. In the page view, the chosen artwork could be the background for the action cards. I would love to see Moleskine combine Journey and the Timepage/Actions/Flow suite into one epic organization/productivity product to rule them all.

Beautiful, but some qualms. I love this app – it's gorgeous and useful and would easily be my go-to task manager, but I do have a couple issues with it: the "Logbook" does not work; newly completed tasks do not appear in it, even after restarting the app. Also, I love that the "Schedule" shows the week's calendar events, but I'm disappointed that a subscription to Timepage is required in order to sync calendar events. I wish it would just sync directly to my iCal. And in Timepage, the tasks I create in Action don't appear; plus, although the slider is cute, it is fiddly to use and I wish I could just quickly TYPE event times. For these reasons, I am reluctant to purchase a subscription to Timepage, and Actions only works to its fullest with a subscription to Timepage.

Promising. Obviously they are developing, and while I still use Todoist I’m definitely excited to follow the development of this app as I am an avid fan of Timepage. I hope one day I can use this app over Todoist, but currently the app does not live up to my expectations of a todo list app. However, it is also very disappointing that the creators of the refined Timepage didn’t create a more polished app before going live— it’s not like you’re doing something new, there’s plenty of good todo list apps to work ideas from, my favorite example being Todoist. Obviously, if you want users you need to work with the crowd who enjoy the brand, and the only way you’ll do that successfully is if you provide a equivalent experience as other apps such as Todoist. I think the possibility of a desktop app will bring great improvement, but otherwise it’s still a work in progress. Also, taking money before having a finished product? I’ll ignore it because of Timepage, but that’s a little... distasteful.

Still Unreliable. Customer service has stopped responding to requests for support and they refuse to address known bugs. Nice app when it works but it often does not work. This app continues to disappoint with a very significant bug. Reminders do not work consistently with recurring tasks. Several times I have missed deadlines due to Actions not reminding me to complete a task when I had scheduled the reminder to occur. This happens often enough that the app is completely unreliable. I have contacted the developer numerous times and we even had a phone conversation about this issue last summer. Updates have come out since then, but this issue has still not been addressed. Whenever I email the developer to remind them I get a response that they are aware of the issue and hope to address it in a future release - it’s been several months and there is still no solution. For an app that expects the user to pay an ongoing subscription, this is unacceptable. After numerous disappointments and no action taken by the developer to resolve a significant bug I would not recommend this app.

Great To-Do App!. I Really live this App, use it ALL the time. Small things, it occasionally gets glitchy when moving the “to-do” blocks around but it’s only a minor annoyance, it never just freezes which is far worse so that’s good! And maybe add days of the week to the “Completed” List so it’s easier to look back and maybe Even More colors? *LOL* But that’d just be a plus to an already great app. Overall, this app is awesome and makes it easy for me to get stuff done! I love the color coding, swipe to complete feature so it feels like your actually Checking something off, the fact that you can set some regular or for one time or a number of times, etc, etc. A lot of Great things about this app. Really Love it.

Not as good as it might be. Disclaimer: I am an autistic person and this is likely to affect how I interact with and experience software. YMMV. Actions looks pretty and integrates nicely with Timepage. That said, currently the only reason I would subscribe is because of that integration and not because I want to use the app itself. The main issues for me are as follows: 1. Siri has yet to recognize any commands other than the ones that are pre-programmed into the app, which seriously curtails the app’s usefulness against even Apple’s built-in Reminders. The latter work seamlessly with voice commands and recognizes times, places, and other variables, whereas I still haven’t figured out what syntax I’m supposed to use to get Siri to create a new action, even after visiting the app’s support webpage and finding its suggested phrasing. 2. It’s not nearly as intuitive as it seems on the surface, and finding out why something isn’t behaving as expected takes a fair bit of digging. So - possibly intuitive but only after a learning curve. 3. Being able to customize colors is really nice, but the choice of colors (and this applies to Timepage as well) is limited to ones I find much too deep or much too bright. A ‘transparency’ type slider would be an invaluable addition for those of us who have issues with overly-intense visual input.

The best customer service ever. I have been a recent convert to the moleskine set of organisers. The stunning UX/UI goes without saying and the customer service is just as good. I had a problem with my account and the guys worked on it all day to fix it for me. So good.

One word. Brilliant, both your apps are so awesome, simple yet perfect to use. Now if only you could have a digital version of your notebook, then you’ll have the trifecta !! Pls pls bring out a digital version of your notebook, not the current one that’s useless and clunky to use

Powerful simple. This carries your tasks over to another day if you have not executed them for the day. Lists, tasks are easy to categorise Visually - the interface looks great

Sync with different parts in iPhone. So far I love the app, the colour and sound and everything. But one thing that really bothers me is that it’s not syncing with widget or notification centre. If I completed the task from widget or notification centre. It’ll still show not completed when I go into the app. And one more thing is that for the later schedules, could you please sort them by date. So it’s not all over the place. Much appreciated, keep doing what your doing aye.

Kinda pointless. This app doubles up on another app - Time Page. Works well enough but without the ability to sync with Apple’s Reminders it’s a deal breaker for me.

Outright purchase option for 5 stars. This app is absolutely wonderful and will probably be imperative for a long time. An outright / non-subscription option will really mean a lot!

Almost perfect. I have been using this app together with Timepage, both have really helped me organised and on top of my work. Despite this, there is one thing that keeps happening to me without fail...whenever I go to reschedule >1 task/action, it always causes Actions to crash. After swiping up to reschedule the task/action my app freezes on a black screen and it’s a bit annoying to have to force close the app to restart it all the time (especially) on the iPhone X. Freezing also tends to occur when I’m moving a task/action to another day. Please try to fix!

Great app but too many limitations. Actions is lovely to use but its lack of integration with other software makes it completely impractical until these features are developed. It badly needs a mac or web version, and to be able to recieve tasks by email or other inputs than just adding manually on IOS devices. I keep checking back to see if its been expanded yet but so far it’s just crushing disappointment.

Not bad, but comparable FREE alternatives. Pretty good. But not worth the money when you can get the same for free.

Absolutely stunning UX. Well done! Beautiful UI with great functionality. Very intuitive design across both apps. If you could find a way to seamlessly combine them into one, it would be an absolute game changer - but well done for putting in a button to switch between the two easily. Everything has been thought of.

Action app. Great app very useful easy to keep all appointments great reminders well worth the money

Aesthetically charming. If there’s one premium app that I’ll continue paying for, it’s this in the Moleskin bundle. Actions doesn’t stand out with some kind of unique feature-set; it’s in the thoughtful design, ease of use and integration with its partner apps that make it so pleasant. Plus it looks great on iPhone and iPad!

Ease of use and standout app!. I never pay for apps, but when i came across this app and timepage i just had to justify my yearly subscription splurge. It keeps my bills and appointments in check in a very pretty and easy to use interface. I just wish they make a version compatible for macOs too!

Really good, so close to being great.. Ending my free trial period on this app currently and have been very pleased with the way the user interacts with the user interface. Love the color coding for different types of tasks. Would love to be able to see more than a week in the future in a calendar format. This function would make it more intuitive to see how my schedule is looking for the next 30 days in advance (instead of just 7) for example. Will likely get a sub as haven’t found anything to be better, keep up the great work.

Incompatible app version. Hi, since I have updated my phone to iOS 15, I have been getting this message for my moleskin apps asking me to update my apps. My apps are however already up to date. I placed my request here because your support website couldn’t be reached (I’m in Australian). I used to love this app and still I am trying to improve my day to day workflow, I still think Actions and Timepage will be a big part of achieving the ideal workflow I want. Could you please look into this? Thanks for your effort.

Poor execution. The idea seems good but I have been unable to use it since my free membership is not recognised. I am constantly met with the window to take out a membership. If I click ‘restore purchases’ I get a nice big tick on the screen before it immediately goes back to the same membership screen. There’s no way in hell I’d rent this software. Perhaps a once off license fee if they sort out the bugs.

Good product. Still playing with it but so far it is exactly what I was looking for. Unfinished tasks move forward with me to the next day... I recommend it.

Don’t pay for this. Get a pen and paper, or use the notes in your phone. You don’t need to sign up for a 30p/year subscription to a to do list.

Beautiful, if a little limited. Gorgeous ✨This is one of those apps where the experience is so satisfying you find yourself playing with it just for fun. And is exactly the kind of app I want ALL of my stock apps to be replaced with! I even tried to delete my stock reminders app, but found that I needed to reinstall it again for a couple of major missing features. Two pretty major things that are missing for me, however: Number one is location-based reminders. That’s been a big reason I used reminders in the first place. Number two is Siri functionality. I use Siri to give myself reminders all the time, and while it does work, you have to say “remind me,” then wait for it it ask you what you’d like to be reminded about, and then you have to set up all the other settings afterward. Which is a huge drawback - I want to be able to set Siri reminders and then be reminded about it later, no further actions required.

So far, so good.. Just testing it out in my trial period at the moment, but it seems like it does what I want and is very intuitive. I will likely sign up for membership as I haven’t found anything I prefer. A couple of things that would really improve my experience: - I’d love to be able to sync this with an app for my MacBook so I can use on all devices. - It would be great to have a checklist function within tasks so they can be ticked off as they’re completed. While it’s possible to list items in the Notes section, it is not quite so easy to clear actions that have been completed. Thanks - keep up the great work.

Well worth the yearly membership fee. I’ve used anydo extensively and trialed 24me and a few other before settling on Actions. It does everything I need in a clean easy to manage package

Does not integrate with Apple Reminders. I paid for a years sub for this app, because I had been using flow for notes. However the actions I create DO NOT appear in the Reminders App. This is a fundamental requirement for me, and so will not be renewing my subscriptions.

Love this app.. Works seemlessly with Timepage

Beautiful but missing basic features. It’s well designed and intuitive. My only grievances are some basic features: 1. The ability to sort goals by time and have them stay to that time if on repeat. Or even just have my lists stay in order. This is a real problem when trying to set up a daily routine of actions, as they keep reshuffling. 2. The ability to set repeat ‘until completion’. I often have tasks which I need to do in the near future, but have no specific time or date. Having this would keep me reminded and have the ability to not have to reschedule them it every night. Otherwise keep it up, great concept and design.

Can’t Connect To Network. Everytime I try loading this app to start it, it goes cant connect to network. Even though I have full bars and everything else works at full speed. This is really annoying, since I’m trying to use it but won’t even let me start up the app.

Smashing the tasks. I have been using the Moleskine Actions and Timepage apps for about 3 weeks now. I am loving the Apple Watch integration and iCal integration so that my shared calendars are also appearing. I love the design and visual additions to make my Actions / Tasks pop out and remind me what I have to check off. I have added a heap of reoccurring tasks for easy reminders.

Looks great- but unstable. This is a great looking app however it’s very unstable on my iPhone X. The most common crash I have experienced is when changing the frequency of an action to daily- this seems to crash the app more often than not. For a fairly high subscription price- this is disappointing.

Sub-Actions Please!!. Only on the free trial so far but will most likely subscribe. Definitely would be perfect if we had the option to add actions within actions (sub-actions?) to break down bigger tasks and to make everything less cluttered and mammoth-like (as I am definitely an over-lister). Otherwise great! Loving everything so far! I hope you’re listening developers!

Much better. This product is much less buggy than Timepage but sadly imho not special enough to justify a subscription model.

“Free App” Scam. Absolute joke of a “free app”. Can’t use any single aspect of it without paying. It literally says after downloading it, it’s in ‘Read-only mode’. So if you want to just stare at an app with no functionality whatsoever, this is it!

nice ui - im not paying for something without trying it forst. why also would I need human support? the apps aren’t that complicated, well at least from a distance, I couldn't even try it to tell.

Can’t unsubscribe. Very annoyed that there is no unsubscribe option in my options, even though it says their should be. Only two options given are one month or one year. I don’t want to use it anymore but must pay forever? Also can’t send emails through the aps help centre. The send button won’t send? Wasting lots if time to work out how to cancel something is very frustrating!!!!

Simple and intuitive.. Great design and functionality. No fuss user interface.

Enjoy it. Its great however a shame to see the subscription fee. I will not continue to use once subscription runs out.

Subscription for a to-do app?. I would consider even if you sell it at $10, but subscription just for a to-do app? No thanks

Love the app but slight issue. I use the app daily the only struggle I’m having is arranging the actions in order. Please resolve this issue It’s very irritating

Great organisational app. I really like this app. Nice flow and integration to Timepage and journey. I do wish that there was an ability to write from the left side of a box, which is more natural, rather than near the centre. The current format makes flow of writing difficult and I end up editing more. A few more colour choices would be great too. Overall, really happy with it

Hidden suscription. Not a free app. Needs a monthly subscription. Could have been nice to show this information before downloading.

App won't open on iPhone 7. Love it otherwise. Will change to 5 star upon fix. Please help.

Get this app!. Exactly what I’ve been looking for - a functional task organiser that is minimalistic, intuitive and equipped with all the essential features that apps like Microsoft To-Do don’t even have. Thanks Moleskine, once again doing such a great job!

I’m confused 🤔. Do I need to pay the app to continue using it because each time I try to add a reminder a page pops up showing the prices to buy it. I would want to continue the app without paying. Do you guys do that?

Need to add sync with caldav supported reminders. I love the layout and the integration with Timepage, BUT . . . I don’t want to get locked into one ecosystem. Once you import your reminders they stop syncing with the reminder app.

Perfect. It’s not free but its definable worth it. It’s a very good app if you want to stay productive. Define expect a 10000x+ ROI if you use it correctly

⛔️ NOT FREE AT ALL. They only offer a 7-day trial, so you forget about cancelling and then charge you an entire year. Taking out right now :)

Fantastic!. I’ve tried many to-do managers. Most I stop using. This one hits the sweet spot, and so far I’m sticking to it and it’s becoming a habit. The fact it work relatively seamlessly across iPhone, iPad, and Windows-based browser lets me work efficiently depending on where I’m situated. The UI is tastefully minimal, yet provides exactly what I need and nothing more. Keep it lean, stable, and reliable and I will continue to subscribe.

LOVE!!!!. if you’re looking to organize your life better, this is a really awesome app. it took me a long time to find this app and i’m really glad i did. :)

Pay and for what?. Nothing extraordinary that will cost you money

Reminders are problematic. Love the app, but I don’t always see the option to set prior reminders. Depending on the task list sometimes the function works while others it doesn’t. Am I missing something?

Way too many bugs, and developers don’t seem to care. The app has many bugs, some of which are quite major. I’ve contacted support to report the bugs many months ago and they still have not been fixed. I thought the idea of paying a subscription for this app was that it would constantly be improved, yet most FREE to-do list apps don’t have such severe bugs like Actions does. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Impeccably designed, great experience. I have only just now canceled my renewal of Moleskine’s Actions app, but it will be missed! The design is fantastic. The interactions/gestures within the app were helpful. The ability to change the app icon colour for us app colour coordinators? The best. In terms of functionality, I loved the upcoming list view that showed your tasks you’ve created in Actions and, if you connected it, calendar events on those same days. It was a great way to digest upcoming events and tasks all at once.

Bring the sound back. I wanted to ask if you can bring the completing a task done. Please please please. That sound made me feel so good about completing tasks and made me do even more! Can you at least put it in preferences so I can choose for myself ? It was a bling sound. Btw I love your app ! I’ve been using it for a year and it has helped so much in my life. I’m usually a procrastinator but your app has made my life much easier. Thank you

Free Trial🤷‍♀️. The app advertises that you get a FREE TRIAL for 1WEEK with all in-app purchases opened. Sooooooo, WHERE’S THE FREE TRIAL?!?!?! Anytime you try to do something it asks you to subscribe to either a month or a year. Talk about FALSE ADVERTISING!!! Definitely would’ve been interested in subscribing, but if they’ve lied about this... what else will they lie about???🤷‍♀️ REALLY DISSAPPOINTED😑

Bugs. The bugs, whenever I try to complete a task and the entire app freezes, is frequent and daily. I’m going to have to cancel if it doesn’t improve soon.

Not actually free... thanks. Very deceiving. Get through the beginning of the app explaining how to use it; then suddenly discover upon clicking ANYTHING, it tells me to pay. Downloaded annnnnnd deleted immediately 👍🏼

Awkward. Looks great, but not very intuitive. I end up closing the app all the time because I can’t figure out how to escape from what I’m doing. Had promise, and would use if it was free, but it’s not worth paying for monthly.

Perfection. Versatile, stylish, well designed. Love the seamless integration with their Timepage calendar app. Best fit for me, well worth the money.

Not bad but could be better. I like the design that you can group tasks and just drag them to the date section. But as I always wanted to see what I did in a specific date, this app doesn’t give me the date for the tasks completed. I can only see a list of what I’ve done for the past few weeks, but not in specific dates.

No tags!. I LOVE the look and feel of this app but, tags are a big part of my time management system . Without them the app just won’t work for me. Verrry disappointing since it has everything else I need.

Amazing app. This is a awesome app for me It’s colourful and very organized I love this game and I am a better and more organized mom and person Thank you for this app

If only.... I wish I could use this app across all my devices, mainly on my computer or browser that way I don’t have to look at my phone or tablet each time I need to addd or complete a tasks, mostly if is a work related task. Great on the go, great design, subscription isn’t bad at less than $15 a year (Developers gotta eat people! To bring more updates and better features) just not entirely practical without desktop functionality.

Not able to mark actions completed?. App seems to be buggy. I completed some actions yesterday which seem to have come back today and now when I swipe to complete them they simply get crossed off and then reappear uncompleted. Actions also not moving to logbook even though it’s set in preferences to move them after 1 day...

Paid app. Hi there, I suggest to app developer to stop allowing people to download it for free and then asking for money right after that. It is not cool to waste people’s time. I wouldn’t have spent my 15 minutes for downloading and realizing that you can use it only if you pay 31$/year.

Poor App. Don’t buy. Unfortunately, I have bought a yearly subscription of this app. Before this one I used Productivity App. The later is not that bad until I downloaded Moleskine Actions app. Moleskine Action doesn’t organize the actions by time even if you set a specific reminder time. I have ordered them according to when I do the action, and then I move them and organize them when they appear on my Today list. However, everything gets missed up again the next day, and I have to re-organize again (everyday). When I create a folder that consists of similar Actions, sometimes and without any reason the Actions disappeared, and then appeared again the next day. When you complete the Action and swipe right, it goes to the completed list, however the later list is unpractically done. They list all the Actions without a dates. It just accumulate and you don’t have any sense of your achievement for a particular day. It’s stupid. Also, there is no Skip option when you decide not to do the action or in case if you forget it. Instead the Action remains in your list for the second day and you end up having 2 or 3 of the same Actions. I intended to use this app to help me create a routine for all the important little things that I forget or I don’t have a time to think about, such as my meals timings, gym, watering my plants etc. This app is useless and not worth any of your money. I feel really disappointed that such a great well-known company as Moleskine create such a poor app. Knowing I always buy my agenda books from this company.

Pure beauty!. This is such an amazing app!! Love it!

Pricing strategy sucks. Nice very simple, good looking app. Not free but at least no ads. Then you realize it is not a « pay to own » but « a pay to subscibe ». You have to rebuy continuously those Moleskine apps that are just better looking apps than the free ones.... I would maybe actually pay to own this app, but will never subscribe. Stupid. Rethink your pricing strategy.

No Location Reminder Alerts. Hi, Beautifully designed app, however, there’s no option to ret a reminder when reaching a desired location. This option is already available on the native apple reminders app :(

beautiful as timepage & love that you can reschedule by just moving it. i have timepage & i saw that Actions has improved so i wanted to try it again. still confused of the difference between reminders & actions; find myself clicking around not sure where i’m going. sometime the timepage app pops up when i just want to add something in Actions. prefer using this gorgeous & more intuitive app than apple & google’s. edit: love that you can just click a button to add how many times a things repeats without knowing the date. and having an apple watch is wondeful!

Paid app - save yourself some time and find an actual free one. Save yourself the time, trouble and phone space and go find an actual free app that doesn’t make itself crash every time a paywall pops up

Fantastic App! Well worth the money spent!. Awesome app that always keeps me on track!!! Highly recommend it for those that easily forget and need a friendly (& colourful!) reminder! Absolutely LOVE this app!

Great. Pretty impressive app really

Impossible to complete a task!. Great app but there are bugs that make it unusable. I downloaded Timepage and Actions on both my iPad and iPhone and bought the paid subscriptions. When I complete a task by swiping it, it crosses the task momentarily then it keeps coming back, no matter how many times I “complete” it on both devices, it keeps coming back. This makes the app unusable. Please fix.

Needs better reminder functions. Wish there were more visible reminders when a task was due / overdue - would really appreciate a badge app icon

Great ToDo App. I have tried quite a few to-do apps, and was happy with Swipe (until I got a new iPhone and could no longer download it). Actions does everything I need it to, and other than postponing actions (which tends to change the recurring date on future actions), it’s great. I like the ability to create different lists, add notes and set up recurring actions (even things like recur every 5 weeks). It’s very helpful for staying organized and on top of all the things you have to do!

Overpriced. Your apps are nice but a subscription model for the type of apps you make is unnecessary. The App Store and tech industry in general is being over saturated with everything wanting a subscription. How many subscriptions do you think an individual is willing to pay? Most have more then one video streaming, and others also have music, news, audio books, password organizer, gaming, cloud storage, etc..etc..etc And if they don’t have these they have a different combination of the hundreds of app types that want your money every month. I like allot of people would have paid good money for this app but when you get greedy and want somebody’s money every month for a calendar and to do list? I think many app developers are forgetting that the App Store boomed because apps used to cost $1 and it was easy for people to buy a bunch every month and if they liked it they would buy more from that developer. I understand that times change, but if you offered this app for $6 or even $10 I think it would be on the top of the most purchased list. I used to use your calendar app but now I use Fantastical. I don’t mean to sound harsh because you make very pretty apps but there are other pretty apps especially in the in the fields you have chosen where there is an over abundance of them.

Love this BUT. I love this app, BUT it truly lacks something to make it perfect. The fact that you cannot see a calendar option as google calendars and make sure you stay organized effectively. This is great for basic things but for a business owner or someone with a very active life. You would end up looking for other apps and I wouldnt mind if it wast because you cannot do integrations. Like... google calendars that would be perfect!

Purchased Annual Studio Subscription but NO ACCESS!!!. Constantly bringing me back to subscribe screen even though I purchased the annual studio subscription! I hav3 NO acces to any of the apps 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

No support - Gets buggy after adding more than 200 actions - no export option. Canceled my account cause no one cares to answer a simple question on this team.

TLDR Not perfect but promising, subscribing is how it gets better.. This app has lovely, intuitive UI. The process for setting a reminder (running along a time curve - trust me, try it) is the best I’ve seen in a reminders/to-do app. The app is lovely to look and has integration with Timepage. I’ve used a lot of to-do apps (coming from Things) and they all have their issues - it’s about your personal preference. There are a few things it needs: web app (they’re working on this), better stability (random tasks that disappear or are glitchy if I reschedule, I assume they’re working on this). I wouldn’t rely on Actions for something like a medication schedule because it hasn’t felt reliable enough to me yet. That said, I’m going to subscribe, because the only way apps get better is if developers have money to develop. The buy it once and own it model isn’t sustainable. Your price to buy is either too high or the developer prices it too low and can’t regularly update. Alternatively, they put out a new version and you have to rebuy (at the equivalent of a subscription cost) or you’re stuck with old features. There’s a generous trial period with this app and I‘d encourage you rethink your bias against app subscriptions if you value new functionality and advancement. If you want free, use a Google product. They’re serviceable and already do everything you need.

Too expensive. I LOVE moleskine notebooks for my artwork, so I thought this pairing - the calendar and then the To-Do app seemed a great match. Then the subscription... I'll buy an app to own, but this subscription business is getting rediculous. I can't afford subsriptions for all of these apps. So, I have Awesome calendar and Organize Pro.

Frustrating. I used to love this app, however, a few updates ago, all of my lists disappeared. They were just gone. So I took the time to redo all of them. Then the next update, my lists all reappeared so then I had 2 of every list, went through and deleted the duplicates, and then on the next update they all disappeared again, so now I’m back to square one. Of course this was right after my subscription renewed, so I’m stuck with it for another year, but I find I don’t use it as much anymore because I’m too afraid to rely on it as a way to organize myself because I’ll just end up losing everything and having to do it all over again. Nothing worse than an app that claims to help you stay organized and only makes more work for you.

Apple Watch complication does not work. I was hoping with the recent update the developer would finally fix the Apple Watch complication but they haven’t. It’s hit or miss, but 99% of the time it does not work. Would also like to add that the overall app rating is likely incorrect. There are a lot of 4 star reviews that are negative comments about how rouble this app is. DON’T PAY FOR THIS APP LIKE I DID! 🤬

Close to perfect.. I love this app, though there are some things that could be improved upon: -Building a desktop version. I use my calendar on my mac and I need the tasks to show up on my computer screen too. If actions + timepage could be on mac this would be perfect. OR just simply integrating tasks to regular web calendar clients so they’ll show up as tasks on my google calendar.

Repeat tasks. I am trying to add a daily routine task, however once I press complete it’ll not show up anymore...

Needs MacOS integration. Needs macOS integration

This is NOT intuitive to use.. Needs to provide a bit more instruction. I’ve used lots of apps and calendars and this one is Not intuitive. DrX

Not Free. To use this app it is $26.49 a year (not bad) you get 1 week trial. But you can not use this app at all without signing up, (read mode only)

Why do I have to pay?. Why do I have to pay? Like I thought I could actually get things done but I can’t because I have to pay!

Not worth money. Why would they add a subscription for a to do checklist app. Nice app, but not worth paying monthly, maybe a one time fee.

Almost perfect. Love the app. Easy to use. The colour-coded lists makes it easy to identify among the many items. I didn’t give a 5th star just because I’d love it to have a desktop integration.

Love it!. I have the subscription for both this and their ‘Timepage’ app and love how they both work together flawlessly. The interface is simple and I love the widgets and notifications. My only thing, and this is really just a personal opinion, but I do wish they would combine the two apps (Timepage and Actions). They work perfectly together but honestly I feel like it would be amazing if the two were joined instead of being separate. That’s just my opinion, though. Nonetheless, this is great for anyone looking for something simple and straightforward task management app!

Basic functions not working. I expected so much more from Moleskine. I had Timepage, about 2 years ago and it was nice to have all my calendars in one place and I liked the minimalist look. So I had high hopes in adding project managements/tasks. This app does not even perform its basic function - marking tasks complete. When you perform the function, "complete a task" it initially looks like it is completed. But if you exit the app and come back, I found the tasks reverted back to their uncompleted state. Also, I did the trial for both this and Moleskine Journeys and spent most of my day confused as the apps are actually made by different developers (but owned by moleskine) so they (a) don't synch and (b) perform the same functions. Pick a different app instead of wasting your time testing this suite.

Missing core sync features. Action is a very organized app to with with time page as it only works by itself it has no. Relationship with the default reminders app so if you have any other apps that speaks to reminders this app will not as it only imports from it nothing more. After using it I like the integration but this means actions will not help you outside of the application itself l, it's designed to only work with time page, I will not be using this app until there's a native reminders app sync option. 2 stars because it's useless without the reminders app and only updates with one app and the time it's been around still has not sync options.

Good, with tons of room for improvement. Milestone did the usual here and created something great. I like a lot about this task tracking system, including its integration with Timepage. My only gripe is that it has support for time setting, but never shows the time on the events. When you fill up a day with a lot of stuff and the order isn’t as you put it in, it’d be nice to be able to see the time frames you set for yourself. Additionally, occasional stuttering on my XS Max, but I’m sure optimization will happen over time. Overall give it a shot!

Don’t understand high rating. I finally deleted this app and canceled my subscription. I couldn’t take it any more. As a manager I’ve got thousands of stupid little tasks to complete each day. The app refuses to communicate effectively with my Apple Watch. I can swipe over and over again on the watch and it will not complete the task. And god forbid I go on a vacation, because when I come back, there is no means of quickly deleting passed tasks. Nope. You get to sit there and swipe over and over and over again thru mind numbing animations for each swipe rather than an ability to quickly complete every task and start fresh. It was so bad when I came back from vacation I deleted EVERY task and heading and basically restarted fresh. Putting every task back in reminded me how irritated with the app and it’s non-communication to my watch was in the past and finally deleted the dam thing and canceled my subscription. There has to be something better out there. And if there’s not, nothing is still better than the aggravation of this app. I truly don’t understand its high rating.

Almost perfect. This app is simple, beautifully designed, and integrates well with timepage. The programmers have created a beautiful, flexible way to organize a day or a project. There is one feature that keeps this from being a true staple of my productivity practice, however. When you create a reminder in the native reminders app, it populates on your lock screen when due until you dismiss it. If I really need to remember to do something, I need for it to be in my face at all times until I do the thing. This is especially true during the work week. So to remember to go to the app each day to see what’s due is tough. I’d happily subscribe every year if this feature is added.

Bad UI design. It is stupid that you can’t set a due date for the task when you create it. Instead, you have create the task first (you can only optimize the task date and notification) then go back to the task and set the due date. Second, when you finish setting the due date, it’s intuitively that you want to push the check mark to go back the main page. Ironically the check mark means you finish that task instead of finishing setting something , so you have to go to completed tasks area to find that task back only because you want to set the due date. I think this app is great especially using together timeline, but I won’t subscribe this app next year until they fix this.

Planner & Organizer Must. I work in a demanding field of wildfire response. The balance between preparatory, mitigation, response, and recovery can get overwhelmingly task saturated. The clearer the picture of task and the ability to organize and concentrate efforts is key. This app has been an asset in accomplishing my needs in planning and organization. In many ways, the structure of this app has help be better outline priority tasks, support them with clarification in notes, as well as provide tracking for what needs to be done and what has been done. Well worth it. Thanks,

Give it another year maybe?. This app is very nice, and I can imagine that in a year or so it will be worth 4 or 5 stars. But right now it’s just lacking a few basics to make it as a powerful enough tool. For example, a simple thing like not having a badge on the icon to show outstanding tasks is just a basic feature, and yet its missing. As a task manager, it really needs that. There are a few other small things, like being able to better organize and prioritize tasks, improving the natural language, and thing like that which need improvement. This app looks so great (trust moleskin with that), and I’m a little sad to give up on it. But maybe I’ll come back in a year and see what they have done! Good potential

Great, with a few big holes.. Overall I love this app. It’s my favorite task manager simply for the gorgeous UI and how easy it is to use. There are a couple of things I really wish it could do that it doesn’t: - List templates - two way syncing with Apple Reminders and/or moleskine Journey. I do not understand why Journey and this app can’t talk to each other. - either a proper macOS app, open up the ability to run the iOS version on Mchip Macs, or fully build out Actions into the Timepage MacOS app. Some native way manage actions on the Mac without having to rely on the web app would be really helpful.

Holy Crap I LOVE This App. I’ve been using actions for about 9 months now and I’m in love with it. I’ve never really enjoyed any sort of calendar app that I’ve tried, but this one is so much better! All of the colors are so appealing and everything is very well set up. I love everything about this app and highly recommend it. I told one of my friends about it and one of my entire college classes! 😂 That’s how much I enjoy it. So thank you to whoever created actions, you’ve managed to create a calendar-type app that I love!

Love, Love, Love. As the most technologically inept person on the planet, and with my hate/hate relationship with most all electronic devices, apps, operating systems, streaming services, etc., I can truly say that I love this app! It was easy for me to figure out how to use. That’s a huge deal! It’s cool, it’s easy, it keeps me organized, and the longer I have it, the more things I use it for. It’s like my life’s headquarters. I stop in a few times a day to get my next set of marching orders. Thanks Moleskine. You hit it out of the park!

Once good but consistently buggy. I loved this app at first but have become increasingly frustrated that this reputable and paid app is almost always buggy. None of the updates seem to fix anything. Most of the time when I use the app it freezes, won’t delete items, won’t add items — and then when it does add items, it adds them multiple times... so then I have to go through and delete repetitive tasks. I keep hoping these things will be resolved with bug fixes but it’s been like this for many months. This app was previously exactly what I had been searching for in a to-do list, but the bugs are so bad I think I will have to seek something else out soon. Leaving this review in the sincere hope these things can be resolved.

This App Is Gold, BUT. A truly beautiful app. It makes scheduling my life 10x easier. Though there are a few things that would make it fullproof: - Different viewports on the laptop app and web version as I find it hard to follow and use - Having an Actions laptop app to match the Timepage laptop app so I don’t have to use my browser each time I want to use Actions - Being able to add an action straight from the Timepage app without redirecting me to the Actions app(this can be very frustrating when I’m trying to plan my week all in one place) - Fixing the app crash when you input or edit actions back to back Moleskin Studio apps are my daily go to and as a designer they make planning go extremely smoothly with all the task customization options. I can confidently say they have the best task/calendar apps out as of now. Looking forward to their next updates and changes.

Great app but i wish it had a widget. This app is so good it’s so easy to make new reminders and visualize everything but the only downside is that there isn’t any widget to have my reminders showing on my home screen. i have ADHD which means a lot of times if i don’t physically see something i tend to forget it exists which is a problem for things like reminders. i have to keep telling myself to open the app to make sure i’m not forgetting anything but it’s hard to do that sometimes which makes this app not as useful as it should be. i love the design of the app though and i use the calendar too and i love it but i just wish this app had a small widget so it would actually work for me.

Great app!. So below is my prior review whenever I was really over the app because I was having so many technical issues. Prior review: I really loved using this app and then a couple months back it started not carrying over tasks that I had set to repeat each day causing me to miss things. It also now gets locked up and acts slow causing me to have to close it and reopen it. I was really liking it before these issues came up. I tried messaging the developer over a month ago and no one got back to me. It would have gotten 5 stars from me if not for these issues. Now: all the above issues I realized were caused by having literally 3 years worth of completed actions that were causing the system to lag. After going and Deleting them everything works fine again. Also there’s a spring cleaning feature shortcut to where this doesn’t happen anymore which I definitely am using now.

Loved it, too buggy in the end. My wife and I used this to keep track of everything, and we mostly loved the interface and especially the drag and drop functionality. It’s simple but effective. But after too many times hunting for a recurring to-do only to discover that it’d somehow stopped recurring (and therefore missing several deadlines), we’ve had to say bye bye to Actions. This problem has existed since we began using Actions about two years ago, and I just can’t take the risk anymore. Sad because I use Timepage and enjoy the dual functionality. Another problem is the sync is slow sometimes—I have to wait a few seconds after loading before I can do anything in the app.

Love the App. Love this app, recommend it to everyone. However, I do wish that I would get notifications when I schedule an action. Maybe a glitch for me? I have to go in the app to see what actions I have I don't ever get notifications when they are due. Why can't I schedule an action at a specific time either? Would be helpful. And I also wish we could add a URL like Apple's reminders has. A link? Instead of just putting it in the notes and having to copy and paste it!!

Missing an important feature. I really wanted to use this app to replace Reminders for Apple, but the lack of an ongoing sync or even more preferred, a standalone non browser based app for Mac makes this an app I’ll be uninstalling. It’s unfortunate since it really works BEAUTIFULLY with Timepage. But I need to access reminders/lists without needing to go into my browser and log into an app, which I can do with Apple’s Reminders app but not this. I hope either a Mac app or ongoing syncing to Reminders comes. If so, I’ll be coming back to the app. As it stands, I’ll be downgrading to the single app membership for Timepage or possibly even moving on from Timepage.

Obviously pro developers. This development team and everyone involved obviously put in the time and careful attention to PRACTICAL detail. This app is done with the USER in mind and takes advantage of touch controls perfectly. Everything is color coordinated and it is a breeze to navigate through. This app has all the details you need for repeats and customized notifications. The best part is that it presents it with the delicacy of a fine sushi roll. This is the elegance a todo app should strive to have. I give it 5 stars.

Very buggy - Probably should have waited to release. I’m bummed because I think this is a cool app with a cool idea. But it is extremely buggy. It worked for my first four or five actions then it wouldn’t accept actions after that. Also it repeated one of my Actions about 20 times so that I had to go in and manually delete 19 of them. And then to add insult injury, they want to charge monthly or annually to use this app. I might have thought about paying a one time fee until the bugs showed up. You guys (Moleskine), this is a terrible business model and a real irritant. Charge a one time fee. Recurring payments for a small organization app is asking for far too much. I’ll just buy one of your journals and write it down, thank you very much.

Please let me run the iPad version on M1 Mac!. This app is basically perfect! An absolute delight to use, and has support for home screen widgets *and* standby mode. Fantastic… except why not let us run the iPad version on M1 Macs like a lot of other apps? It’s a simple checkbox on App Store Connect and I could totally put up with the slight iPadOS carry over weirdnesses… I just would love to be able to work on my lists on my Mac for productivity! Please please please consider ticking the checkbox!

Widget is too big. Timepage integration is great, animations, all the usual people have said. But I don’t open an app except to add to it or to look things up. I use widgets to view today’s tasks. Each item on the Actions widget takes up the space of four MinimaList items or three Todoist ones. While this makes for a pleasing screen within the app, it makes for a space-hogging widget. Also, Actions items don’t show up in the Timepage widget. For these reasons, I can’t yet leave Todoist and MinimaList, but I’m sure looking forward to. I’d like to see a sizing option or just a more space-efficient widget. Or have Actions show up in the Timepage widget.

Editor's Choice???. I paid for the full suite subscription (big mistake). I have successfully accessed Timepage and Flow, however, Actions is a steaming pile of FAILURE. I have Todoist, TickTick and Things3 on my phone and thought this might be the solution to “rule them all”. I have spent over 30 minutes at the splash screen that says “upgrade and save big”. Despite repeatedly entering my credentials as an existing user, it keeps saying “restoring purchases”, “finalizing setup” and then it sends me back to the splash screen again. I can’t tell you if this will even work as a replacement contender. If tech support can’t reach out with a solution that gives me the full access I paid for within the next 72 hours, this will be cancelled, deleted from my phone and never tried again.

Almost perfect!!. I love this app so far but I noticed there’s a glitch when trying to relocate Actions from one List to another. Every time I attempt to do it the app completely crashes. When I come back the Action is successfully relocated so that part at least works, but the crashing every time is pretty annoying and inconvenient, but I understand these things happen. Hopefully you are able to fix this soon :) Thanks for the awesome app!!! I think I may have finally found a digital To Do List app that I actually love!!!!

Aesthetically delightful, functionally flawed. My one complaint about this otherwise delightful app is that it isn’t intuitive; some of the functionality is obtuse. For example, I have a task that now exists indefinitely despite my having “completed” or deleted hundreds of instances of it—yes, I turned off the “repeat forever” option and it still won’t go away. I have mysteriously lost lists. Lately it just feels aggravating to use, even though it appeals to my sense of design. I’ve reverted to a tried and true method; a notebook and pencil. Perhaps this was Moleskine’s plan all along: sell more notebooks by delivering an app that doesn’t quite do the job!

In App Purchase?. UPDATE! - the developer reached out to me and told me exactly what I had already posted. If the app requires a membership - especially one that is done through the app it is still an IN APP PURCHASE- this is not said on the app page and there fore wastes the users time downloading and trying to figure things out only to be told you have to buy a membership. This is shady as a practice. I still give this a 1 star rating since for what ever reason I cannot do anything with out buying a membership. I would have given this more stars if the developer was honest and put the in app purchases like all other apps with in app purchases do. ORIGINAL POST- Requires a purchase to modify anything. Not even usable with out a monthly subscription. There are far better apps out there.

Sync fail... lists are doubled o.O. That. I don’t know if they are due to my iPhone and iPad, or because it synced them before I made an account, or what. But now I have to figure out which one is which so I can get rid of them... it didn’t do this with my calendar in Timepage o.O Ugh updating this two minutes later. Now all my lists in the default Apple Reminders app is empty/gone. Definitely not subbing and I’m deleting this trash fire off my iPad and iPhone. And to add a third thing, I finally saw the “import” option which says it will merge lists with the same name. I guess this is their non-intuitively named solution? I never looked at it as I had nothing I felt I needed to “import” it said on setup it would sync with my Reminders app and iCloud o.O

Super buggy, not reliable at all. I really want to love this app. Timepage and its associated Home Screen widget are flawless for me, but Actions and its integration with Timepage (while great in theory) are so incredibly unreliable it’s completely soured the Moleskine brand for me, costing me time and money. Tasks constantly duplicate themselves, or don’t disappear upon marking complete, or sometimes even delete themselves forever without notice. If you’re using this app the way I do, to manage important recurring tasks like taking medication or managing a freelance business, I urge you to find another app that’s tried and true and thoroughly tested. With no updates in nearly a month and dozens of other recent reviews calling attention to these problems, I can only assume Moleskine’s Actions team doesn’t care about its users enough to address these problems.

Please create this feature. Excellent app! However, I really wish that I could reverse the order of where my typed actions appear upon entering many of them in at once by using the “Next” keyboard button. Currently, when making many actions in a row with this feature, the firstly entered actions get pushed back down the column, which in the end means the first action I typed in will be at the end of the column. If you could make it so each action I enter with “Next” appears after what I just typed, it would make it greatly easier to produce a list of things to do in the actual, original order that you entered them. As an example, if I type and enter “Take a shower” and then “Get Dressed” using “Next”, it would appear as “Get Dressed -> Take a shower”. That is not a good idea! Please please please create this function! It would be amazing and help so many people! Thank you!!!

Fantastic app and works well with Timepage. These apps look absolutely beautiful, and I love using them. However, there are some minor shortcomings. Firstly, it’s very odd that this app still doesn’t have a proper macOS counterpart. The website is fine, but I would like to see a native app soon. Secondly, I would have liked to see the ability to place tasks into your calendar in Timepage. I think that this would make the integration with Timepage far more helpful. Overall though, the app is fantastic and I love using it!

Sophistication with Bugs. The vision behind this app if clear. The UI is intuitive with beautiful colors and unique interactions. It’s joy using the software as a bundle, Calendar included. All apps stand alone well but, together they form a productive ecosystem. Nevertheless, my only regret with this app and others within its ecosystem are its bugs. From widgets lists not showing or action card text being cropped into text crumbs, the serious Interruptions I faced within my 3 days of using the app(s) have been laced, thinly, with pure frustration for the broken as with something that you pay for the expectations are that it works.

Love this, one feature request. Love this app once I learned it, it does everything I’ve been wanting in an app for my very disorganized and easily overwhelmed mind. It’s really helping me get things done. I love the categories and that you can repeat tasks. There’s been a few little bugs with the recurring tasks a couple did not recycle onto the weekly list. But mostly it’s working great. There’s only one thing that I would love to see added! It would be great to have an Apple Watch app where you can easily see today’s list. I’ve used it with other apps and it’s really nice to have.

Pretty awesome. So... this app disappointed me at first, because I’m against subscriptions, but then I learned you could import your reminders (I don’t like the reminders app simply because of aesthetic) but this app looks awesome and is awesome. The subscription isn’t necessary if you have the reminders app. And even so, the subscription is a decent price for those who want it. Only reason I got this and not like Todoist is because I don’t have iOS 13 haha. So I went for this, and is great. But todoist is free if you have iOS 13, so do that instead if you don’t want to pay.

Repeating Actions. Started using this and Timepage about a week ago. Bought for a month to try it out. I like the look and layout but basic stuff is not working. Looks like repeating “by time” actions are not showing up again. Just completed a half dozen actions today and they have not shown back up for the later date. I saw an old review commenting on this and it did not look to be resolved. When I entered an event and set the date it would refer back to today’s date when I set it. Had to pull it back up and change the date again.

I really want to like this app!. I am so into the concept of this app, but have been running into frustrating bugs across the Moleskine line (Timepage, Actions, Flow). Actions is now, mysteriously, listing my calendar items the day AFTER they are listed in my Timepage calendar...? Started happening today without my having changed anything. Also Timepage won’t sync between my iPhone and iPad, and there is no setting to change the iPhone from pulling from my very long since unused iCal. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling. The interface is so cool and pretty, but these bugs seem a bit amateurish for the subscription price of each of these apps sold separately. Harumph, I thought I had finally found a super cool solution to my yearly calendar / task list / journaling conundrum.

My personal choice!!!!. First thing first is to play with it, make different lists (work, school, everyday tasks) and just add to them and you’ll see the simplicity. At this moment I’m in the 3rd day of the free trial and it’s already been helping so much because of how easy the interface is to work. Now I’m considering buying Time Page as well because of how it interacts with it and all the smart features it has as well. After using Planner Pro this combo of apps have won me over! Keep up the good work!!

So Far: (Ugly) Animation Glitch. Just started using the app. Seems pretty handy so far and I like that it syncs with Timepage, which is why I went for this over other ToDo apps. But sadly I made a subscription before realizing the specific animation to drop/delete non-completed actions that are needing to be rescheduled is glitchy and slows the entire flow if there’s multiple incomplete actions to drop. The animation aesthetically is also kinda clunky/ugly and looks quite a bit less polished than what’s expected from Moleskine or a *paid app in general. Will stick with this though and hope for quick improvements.

Very close to perfect!. I have tried many apps like this over the years and I really enjoy this one and have stuck with it for about a year now. The one thing that is missing for me is the ability to use the Apple Pencil to hand write action cards. If I could do that instead of having to use the keyboard to type them out, this app would have EVERYTHING I am looking for. I can’t find any app that has that functionality after searching high and low, so for now, I am sticking with this app!

One of the best.. Love how they are always bringing new exciting features to this app. Waiting for them to bring month view to widgets. Awesome cal 2 is the only other app that I know of that offers this. Apple cal doesn’t even offer month view within the app, so weird. Month view where you can see your hole month planned out seems like would be the most important one. Timepage is awesom though. Love how you can change others of everything including the app.

Scam App, Glad I Didn’t Subscribe. I was just going to leave a review about how trash it is to set up an app like this to bait and switch you at the last moment with “wait wait wait, you won’t be able to use it AT ALL unless you subscribe ;) btw no free trials, guess you’ll just have to waste money to find out what it’s like!” which...wow. I know it’s separate but it’s great to know the quality of apps matches the notebooks. But knowing their developer responses are all snarky or dismissively apologetic? Y’all wouldn’t deserve my money either way, there are about a thousand to do list apps and all of them are infinitely better on the principle that they actually work BEFORE you put money into them. Anyway saying all that to say I’m glad I’m a Leuchtturm girl, yall can keep this.

Great update. So quick to add things to specific days in near future. Faster input than any other task manager with my Timepage and actions widgets on iOS 15 Home Screen. Please allow me to change widget colors like Timepage has! I want to screen looking pretty matching the rest of my widget color scheme and it only gives me black and white. Also I agree there should be a dedicated notes app to compete with iOS notes app or bear. Who draws on their phone lol and sorry it’s no procreate or affinity

Solid App, Replaced All Others. Are use this app in place of all the other action, lists, reminder applications I’ve tried over the years. Solid app! For my personal experience and work life, one small minor addition would make it flawless in my opinion: when choosing a list to assign a task to, if there were an option *on that screen* to create a New List rather than having to back out and go to where you create lists and then going back into it to selected after it’s been created… That would be a big step forward in user experience and time saving :-)

Beautiful but rather unreliable. The tiles are aesthetically pleasing, fun to use, and not clutter up the phone screen with too much info. However, it crashes on my iPhone X at least once a day, and I’m pretty sure one of my to do items mysteriously disappeared. That’s not acceptable for an app that charges $12 a year. And some functionality/logistics suggestion - say I have a recurring item that repeats every 2 days and didn’t complete it today, then I delete it when I’m reviewing items from yesterday (another instance of the item hasn’t appeared for tomorrow because it only repeats every 2 days), the entire to-do item, along with all of its future occurrences, gets deleted while I only meant for that one instance from yesterday to be deleted. Then there’s the opposite problem. If I didn’t complete an item that repeats every day and reschedule it from yesterday to today (when another instance has already been created for today because it repeats everyday), then there’s a duplicate. There’s got to be a better way to manage this.

Fantastic App. For 30+ years I was a disciple of the Franklin planning system. I followed it religiously and it worked for me. In fact I would never even think about trying to use a different system. I experimented with GTD other systems but none of them really fit what I was doing on the h Franklin system. Of course eventually they merged with Steven Covey and it was somewhat OK but I was hooked on daily and not weekly even bough I made sense. So, fast forward... I am now 65 years old although I travel extensively both domestic and internationally I no longer wanted to carry a bulky binder like the classic size but anything smaller just didn’t work for all my data and information. Thus enters the iPhone and eventually the iPad. Well, all the companies were trying to make their systems work and they just began to make a simple planning system complicated... Until NOW. Using both the Actions and Time Page Apps are a dream come true. My only request is Please Keep These Active! A Convert, Rick Texas

It’s ok. Like Moleskine’s other app, Timepage, this app is really nicely designed from a visual standpoint. However, it has no companion on desktop, no support for subtasks (a problem when importing from Reminders), and is a bit confusing to use. The UX is sort of overly designed, relying on icons and swipes that are not intuitive. The fact that you can only import from reminders, and not fully sync with them means you can’t use built in Siri functionality to create reminders, instead having to rely on creating shortcuts (if they’re available, I didn’t investigate that feature much). I don’t really see why this needs to be a distinct app, I feel like it could easily be incorporated into Timepage.

It’s So Close, But The Issue Can’t Be Overlooked. This is so close to everything I want. It’s missing one incredibly important thing. The repeat can only be daily, weekly, monthly, yearly 🙃 Meaning you can’t use it for repeating tasks at work! You can’t customize the repeat or even just have it do weekdays. This is such an oversight. I really wanted to love this app. I love how simple it is. I love the design. I wish they let you color pick instead of their very “beige mom” palettes, but that I could’ve easily over looked. However, I can’t use an app for work that doesn’t have, at least, a weekday repeater. I’m really disappointed.

Better alternates without subscriptions. I purchased Timepage before it became a subscription app but that doesn’t help me here. The flashy styling and smooth animations come with a hefty price tag. It frustrates me that this is the direction of app development because the companies themselves make much more income from their work and rarely share it with the development staff. And if you do want to use a subscription, you have to justify it by being leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. You have to come correct and this app just doesn’t. The fact that the develop has replied to other reviews that “infrastructure” is the reason why they needed these costs doesn’t help their case because “infrastructure” could mean a coffee table and a laptop. That doesn’t mean ongoing expenses. Further, they suggest they are ethical because their app has a 50% discount when subscribing to an entire year. If it’s such a promising deal with 50% off, why not make the app $100 a month and suggest a 90% discount and give yourselves a pat on the back. The subscriptionification of everything is getting silly, and larger developers thinking they can animate or vector their way out of bad design is sad.

I LOVE this app! I only have one problem with it.. This is the to do list app I’ve been looking for for at least a year. I love the way it’s organized. How you have have items that don’t populate until scheduled. The color choices for each list are great too! My only caveat is that I accidentally swipe items and cross them out all the time. I wish that the app would respond to the “undo” motion in my iPhone. (You can choose a setting on iPhone that when you shake the phone, it preforms an undo from your last action. Usually if you accidentally delete some text.)

A Top Contender For Best Productivity App. Amazing app, I love the integration with their calendar app, Timepage. I happily buy a subscription for both apps. I have been using both for a few weeks and nothing beats the ease-of-use and functionality these apps bring. I have experienced no issues such as bugs or crashes on either app. They do what they were made to do exceptionally. They look beautiful too! I can’t wait to see what these developers have in store for future updates.

This release is mainly fixes and polish, but we did have time to slip in one heavily requested new feature: • NEW: Duplicating actions: You can now duplicate actions by long pressing on the action and selecting "duplicate" from the menu. When duplicated, an action's subtasks will be reset to incomplete. New in previous versions: Introducing Actions Interactive Widgets support for iOS 17! Actions widgets are now interactive! Simply tap an action in order to show some buttons. Tap the "check" button to complete the action. Also new for iOS17 is support for Standby Mode, a new Lock Screen feature in iOS 17 that activates automatically when your iPhone is charging and in landscape orientation. Our Schedule, List and Next Action widgets are all compatible. We've also fixed some pesky bugs. Make sure you update your devices to iOS 17 to try out these great new features.
