Another dimension to collecting!. This app gives you the ability to create virtual inventory with valuable information about your items at the palm of your hand. Sets, Rankings, and Community Once your inventory of graded/ certified coins are in, you can build sets ( like coin folders) and compete with other collectors. Compare your collection and progress to other collections. Keep a running inventory and value of your certified collection including items form other certification providers. Even better you have at your fingertips the ability to buy, sell and trade and tools that help you determine value and rarity. To sum it all up it’s much like being in a collector club or at a coin show that you can check in and show off daily. The app is part of a family of valuable tools and information sources online and in the real world. PCGS is part steward, part stake holder and trusted authority to the hobby. This is a great way to add so much to your collecting. And although PCGS memberships are an attractive addition to your hobby, everything mentioned in this review is free! I can always think of features and ideas to make it better, but my all star rating is based on the value, ease of use and enjoyment of the app. I think you will agree if you give it a try.

Much Better Than NGC!. Always ready to use. Never slow. Never freezes up. This PCGS app has more features and easier to use than NGC. For example, this automatically adds information and photos to the PCGS Registry. I asked NGC about that feature in their app and was told it is not available but might be coming.

Love it. Pcgs is the best and only way to go when considering anything about your coins. Rather it is what your paying? What it’s worth. Or just where it goes in your set. If you don’t use pcgs then you don’t don’t do coins. Have a great day.

Great way to inventory your coins. I love being able to scan the barcode and track my coin inventory very powerful and easy process

Great App. I am in the process of transferring my collection from another database. I like that this app ties to the Pcgs data but still allows you to enter non-Pcgs coins. There is also a web version that has a little more functionality. I hope that they continue to develop it and solicit ideas for enhancements.

Unable to access anything since the last update.. Please help. I have 71 coins in my sets and since the last update I’m unable to access them. I tried on my iPhone and my iPad. Nothing works. I can’t add anything as well.

Good but could be better. I had to continuously close the barcode scanner while adding coins. It would be nicer if one only had to open the scanner once to scan all coins in one session. Keep up the good work.

PCGS Mobile App. Love that they’ve got an easily accessible app that runs much faster for on the go scanning, collecting and tracking of your collections. Definitely recommend to anyone who’s been stuck using the website!

App review. I love the app. Tend to agree, we need to be able to sort coins and group together. The set part of the app leaves improvements, need easier access to what I have v/s what I need.

PCGS is well above the market. This app is just beyond what competition is trying to do It is easy to use on the registry side It just needs a little more in other details or features such as digital albums Excellent job

New member. I’m learning how to sell and add more coins to my collection. I love pennies, when I was seven for some reason I loved to hide coins in the ground. I can’t remember what coins they were.

Very good App. Excellent way of keeping an inventory, but wish it would pick up non PCGS coins with current price. Entered several different ways with no success.

Great stuff. More important to me than the actual registry is the feature where I can inventory all my coins with the same important information whether the coin is PCGS graded or not. Having this feature is very important in tracking prized coins and this app puts it into a beautiful presentation. Thank you!

Great info and organizing system. Love the app so far. Just started using it and added a few coins to see how it worked. I really like the current value per coin included in the description. It would be neat if we could add a couple pictures of ungraded coins to see what they may grade at, but that might be asking too much. Would recommend if you have graded coins and no means of keeping track!

Fun. I like the way this site. I just wish I didn’t have so much trouble adding inventory and pictures. Always has network issues.

App Bugs…. Love the app as a novice in the coin/bullion collecting world it’s a fun tool! However, even with verification the app does not register coins with specific mint marks so my “sets” are incorrect/inaccurate. Wish they would get a handle on this.

Don't waste your time!. I really thought this was a wonderful app is first. Allowed you to enter coins no matter which grading service was used. However, now I find out that the only way they create sets of your favorite coins is if all of your coins are rated by PCGS! Are they kidding??? I guess they expect you to pay $30+ to have all my coins recertified at PCGS just so I can make sets? The way they should be doing this is to take a pragmatic approach and recognize that they aren't going to be able to manipulate their customers into spending tons of money. Instead, they should act like they really care about the numinstatic value of a registry app, and at least act like that is their main goal. A company that cares about me and my successes is a company I will want to use in the future. Not one that uses cheap tricks to get my business.

Helpful for inventory but really glitchy and slow. I have been using the Registry app for a few years. It is a fantastic way to keep track of inventory and sets. There is unfortunately a lot of glitches, crashes, and slow loading times like dial up. Even with a full signal it can take a minute or more to load the inventory or set screens. This has been a persistent problem for a long time and does not seem to improve. The user must Wait for screens to load completely before searching for a coin/set or the entire app will crash and have to be restarted. Overall I like the app and appreciate the service it provides, it just doesn’t work smoothly or quickly.

Great app for collecting, essential for beginners. Simple app to keep inventory and take a look at all the different collections. Very addictive and educational if your into coins.

Great app, a couple small bugs.. First off, this is a great app. I very much recommend it. I would like to send a note to the developers, however, on a couple of bugs. 1) Even after I’ve created my first showcase, the app is still telling me I haven’t added my first showcase yet, even though it properly displays my showcase. 2) if I Quick Add a coin to my inventory and add an image when prompted, the item doesn’t get added to my inventory. I’ve needed to add the coin, and then add pictures after. Great app overall, and what a fun way to pick up a hobby.

PCGS is Top Tier. Great app for any degree of coin collecting. Very informative. It’s very user friendly. It’s my number one go to app, besides PCGS’s other coin apps of course. But if you need your PCGS coins set in your registry or if your simply looking to purchase a PCGS slabbed coin. This is that app that will seal your doubt.. Thank you PCGS. Great!. It’s absolutely perfect assorted app that I’ve been looking for! I’ve been collecting all my life and gotten more serious recently but didn’t want to bother with all the extra folders books and catalogs. Now that I’ve found this I’ll definitely be growing my collection!

Great!. App is fun to use and a great way to track your collection. My one gripe is the app keeps crashing on my iPhone 15 Pro whenever I try to scan the NFC tags in the holder. The PCGS Cert app doesn’t give me this same issue.

Dream come true. Coming into the world of numismatics crawling like a baby is how I would describe my journey until downloading this app. It makes the world of difference in being able to quickly find examples of sets and track my progress. Virtually seamless. Im already walking. The only thing I wish is that PCGS acquires NGC so we can combine our collections easier hahahaha I can dream!

Great app! Needs updates with addition bugs. App often duplicates photos/entries when adding to your registry, not terrible but often requires cleanup afterwards. Otherwise great app!!

Not so great. The app works well if all you have are PCGS slab coins. The process of adding coins that have been slabbed by a different grading service or coins that aren’t slabbed at all is very problematic. Right now, it is putting 3 to 4 different entries into my inventory whenever I add one coin. Then I have to go back in and delete the 2-3 extra entries. and you can’t completely delete one of these extra entries from your inventory, the only option is that lists it as sold. Now I have six or seven coins listed in my inventory that I have supposedly sold but really, I never owned. No way to delete any of them.

Another great pcgs app. Makes keeping my records easy and the set competition is a lot of fun. Pcgs does great with all their apps. I do wish they’d allow you to add ngc coins with cac stickers to their registry sets but i understand why they don’t.

Great app. Although the app is great if your just scanning in your inventory, it’s a little slow in downloading your images. Still learning to work it, so maybe it’s me. Other than that more reviews to come as I start new sets.

Great App Takes Time if you’re new!. This is a great app as I have decided to do appraisals of my older coin collection. Have a lot of old coins from all over the world. Love the help you can get from this company. GreAt App!

Coin collecting. Would like to say thank PCGS for all the hard work making it possible for people to collect and a way to have a secure way for our coins as well as display our coins on PCGS site it is a great help with all the information as well

Needs work. This app was doing good I had 250 coins registered. Hours of setting all up and out of nowhere it just stop working can’t get it to load to the menu. Plus when I tried making sets I cannot use non pcgs coin which is aggravating to organize. Over all ok but not the best

I freakin love it. This is exactly what i needed to keep my collection organized and show others what i have so they can buy from me without bringing my whole collection to them. It does an amazing job and is super easy to use. I freakin love it.

Just starting out.. Started using PCGS as a resource when I inherited my great grandfathers coin collection. I initially wanted values so I could sell them but now after studying them for a year I don’t think I could part with them! Submitting my first coins this week for grading and can’t wait to post them here!

Great app - looking forward to future updates. I love this app and reference it whenever I come across an auction to see which pieces are still needed to finish my set. I would love to see more of the data currently available on the website available in the app (“My inventory” total guide value vs “my inventory” total price paid, set guide value vs set price paid, etc.) Also, in an incomplete set the coin weight is only shown for the dates/marks that haven’t been added to the set yet. I’d like to see the weight of the date/mark even after I add a coin to the set and there appears to be plenty of space to do so without clogging the screen. Needs upgrade.. App needs to be upgraded. Free app so I dont want to complain too much. The app shows two different rankings when you open it. A Current Finest rank and then an All time finest rank. I would prefer to only see one rank and my preference is to have the app only display a current finest rank. I try to view coins for sale in the app that will help me upgrade my PCGS collection but the app will not show coins that are available for purchase that would upgrade my collection. I do receive emails from PCGS that alert me that there are coins available for purchase that would upgrade my collection and I would like for this information to render inside the app. Thank you for your consideration. Great App. My only issue really with this app is how there are bugs when you upload pictures (takes for freaking ever) and that it’s hard to find the link to share my specific registry sets with potential customers or fellow coin nerds.

Awesome App. PCGS does a great job with their apps! I personally like the NGC slabs better than PCGS (plus their prices are cheaper), but this app is the #1 reason why I switched to PCGS coins. It is absolutely amazing. It is the perfect and free way to organize your collection and post it with the rest of the world. There are many expensive pieces of software available for collection inventory, but none of them come close to the features and ease of use of the PCGS Set Registry and the rest of the apps. One of my favorite features of this is the app itself. I used to use paid software on my computer for organizing the collection, but I would have to print out or take a picture of the spreadsheet before going to a coin show or coin shop. With this app, I’m able to see exactly what I have and exactly what I need quickly and easily on-the-go. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Update made it worse. Just updated, App Store still says “update”, when opening for the first time it still told me something about fixes (so presumably it updated after all) before it crashed. Since it opens for various amounts of time, at most for 5 seconds, before it flames out again. Fix wasn’t that much of a fix after all.

A nice way to track your PCGS graded coins along with non-graded coins are graded by other companies. For the most part it’s a five star app but I dropped it to a four-star because there’s some issues still navigating it a little bit easier to read I’ll give it to that. I like the notifications that I get about sales that’s nice. I like to know if there’s a way to print out my inventory for insurance purposes if there is if somebody could explain it to me I would greatly appreciate it thanks

Fantastic App for any collector. I downloaded this app several years ago and it’s an absolute life savor at times as my collection of sets grow I know just exactly what I’m missing in my sets through this app. Minus the NGC’s of course. You see the sad part is that some sets seem to have “No” PCGS graded coins and you’ve got to resort to leaving out your personal NGC coins which would complete most collections. Like my Wedge Tail Eagle Set. Early when this coin was released (2014) PCGS took the helm of grading these low minted coins. Half way through the release they stopped grading these coins (Don’t know why) but now the rest of my set is NGC “all MS70’s) with Mercanti signed labels. This means I can’t compete my set because I can’t add NGC to the collection plus I’m not about to lose the Mercanti signed label through cross-over. I hope in the future PCGS will consider joining specific coin sets to include all “NGC” coins to better enhanced the joy of showing off competitive sets. It makes it look much better if PCGS & NGC are working together to help the collector by supporting one another. After all is one better then the other??? Both are great grading companies and either one holds high standards from the collectors view as they see both as top tear grading. Thanks PCGS 👍🏻

PCGS Set Registry is amazing!. I love being able to keep track of all of my coins without having to physically go get them out and double check the grades, dates, mint marks, etc. Now I can research and view my collection all in the palm of my hand. If you have any PCGS graded coins I would definitely recommend downloading this app. Simply type in the certification numbers, or scan the barcodes on the coin holders and all of your coins will be logged. You can pull up the coin-facts and price guide for each individual coin anytime. This app will also show you exactly what coins you are missing from sets, and what your sets rank among other collectors. Love it! 🪙

Great to have!. I really like the app. Easy to use and like the set goals. However would really like the ability to have NGC or non graded coins allowed in the circulated coin sets not only PCGS.

Great App, one fix and it would be 5 stars. Absolutely great job, it is very nice and will be very useful. One thing: when I go to add non-PCGS coins, the first thing it asks me to input is the PCGS Cert #? That doesn’t make sense and I would love to add the boatload of NGC graded coins into my set(s). I have no allegiance to any one grading company but have had thoughts to submit with PCGS over NGC. Normally, I buy graded coins, but do submit here & there. This one fix would be enough to make me a lifelong customer. Otherwise, this app rocks! Nice work.

Great tool to Keep up with collection. Keeps me from buying duplicates of ones I already have and puts a twist with the competition of best set rankings gives it fun. Draws newer generation of youth in with it from what I have seen.

Inventory Tab. The Inventory tab says “No Image Available” for every coin. This ruins the fun. I’m gonna try NGC’s app now. Please fix this, and I will raise my app rating. Also, when entering coins into your Inventory the “Grade” section should have a slider with choices (like the “Date Purchased” section)

Great App. Overall great app. However, the “What If” has stopped working since the most recent update.

Keeps crashing. Using software 12.4 on iPhone and after accepting updated terms it crashes. Deleted and re-downloaded the app and its still happens.

Here today gone tomorrow. I’m has constant issues with my app! Both my sets have once again disappeared. My fingers are cross they will return. Last update was problematic

Refuses to register coins. I have tapped the coin and submitted the very. App says it is registered and never appears. Broken.

Great app with great support.. This is a great app for tracking your collection and the developers are very responsive. The only things that would make it better would be: 1) More complete pricing information for active items, ie a lot of my PCGS coins aren’t pulling in pricing data. 2) Addition of NGC certification census would be a real plus. Keep up the great work!

Nice. Very nice app. It certainly has benefits for registering PCGS slabbed coins (obviously). It would be nice to include non-PCGS graded into sets (maybe you get fewer points or something).
