Cannot edit a recording text.. The app is great. Good response and accurate search of words. However when doing a record of voice to text if there is an error there is no way to modify and most start all over is counterproductive. Is there a way to edit while on voice recording?

Horrible horrible horrible. This app is a complete garbage. Every time I transcribe a recording, it gives me a bunch of fragmented nonsense rubbish. The words are totally different from the recording; and on top of that it is slow as hell. When i try to contact the technical team; I waited my time writing the message the send option wasn’t activated. Complete nightmare. I would give it a zero if I could. I would never embarrass myself by recommending this app to anyone or invite a friend.

My experience depends on how the rating call to action is structured. If I keep having the write a review request pop up, my rating will get lower. Otherwise this seems pretty solid.

So easy and accurate. By far the best, most accurate and easiest to use voice to text app i have used. I use the text created from my class lecture as a way to refine content for improved flow in future lectures! It’s a great way to assist students with follow up in study material for all learning styles. Plus, I can dictate my grocery shopping list on the fly 😊.

This is an awesome app!!!. Awesome BEST YET! I actually wish there were one that formatted itself with correct punctuation and capitalization, commas, quotes, etc. I wish I could attach an Alarm to a dictated note. Any future updates out there? ALL in ALL it is very good text to speech app. It’s pretty cool how it will also type out a recording. Pretty cool...

Botched the text. The audio I have is very clear and the voice was articulating the words just fine. Only one person was speaking and the room was silent. When I looked at the translation, three quarters of it was not even close enough for me to edit without retyping most of it. Bummed I spent the $6.

Not for me but still a Good Idea. I didn’t realize this app is for use in a quiet environment. I have no problem hearing where it’s quiet but I need one that works in a noisy environment. Still I believe this app could be helpful to many

Easy to use. This app is easy to use for dictation of progress notes. I have been using it for several months now and it has simplified my life quite a bit.

Voice to text. This app helps me communicate with my husband. He had a stroke several years ago that affected his ability to understand spoken words, aphasia. With this app I can type out words or sentences. This helps him to read what is being said. It is very frustrating for him when he is left out of a conversation because he cannot always understand. It also helps me. Repeating a word or phrase over and over again can be very exhausting. It is easy to loose patience, even though you know he cannot help his a ability to hear and understand.

Mixed review.. Just started to use it and it seems pretty good generally. However, I agree with the reviewer who said she hates that you can't see text until you hit the check button at which stage it moves to a Notes-like page.

Good overall, just some suggestions. I liked this app, and tried to use it for studying, just one suggestion, are you able to make it work outside the app?

Very frustrating. Out would be five stars if I could edit the text without it reverting to the default screen of the phone. I have to try several times to get it to say what I want without autocorrect changing wear to where or ware...late to laid etc. I tap the screen and the app disappears. My Mom is deaf and this doesn't work without frustration. I usually go to "NOTES" and use that because I can correct any incorrect autocorrect one time instead of five or six. Just spent an agonizing Dr's visit. Took way too long to put what the Dr was saying into text. A pencil would have worked better. Fix it.

The app just does not work… yet?. I have to say the support team has been on this problem super fast. As of three day since I bought the premium version of the app I still have not been able to get it to work. Now this doesn’t not for now seem to be the developers problem as my iPhone running on iOS 12.4.1 does not have any way to do the fixes of the problem. I know!! What gives Apple. My iOS seems to not ya e a specific Siri and Search category in setting with a dictation button to switch on and off. So let’s see what the problem solvers come up with and I will issue an update. Still no app function, but working on it. :::::::::::::: I would give it zero stars if I could as it has done nothin but aggravate me. I will let you know if the support team ever contacts me, but I paid $5.99 for the pro version and the app has never worked. I keep getting an error memo that says speech recognition is not working, EVEN THOUGH I didn’t need speech recognition. I needed to transcribe some voice memos. Every time I add a file I get that error message. I deleted the app and added it again but it made no difference. They basically just stole my money

I downloaded with intention of upgrading but.... The app continues to crash. Not good. I've made about five notes and after speaking for two minutes to twenty-five minutes the app would either crash in the middle of recording or crash when I tried to save the note... Very frustrating. Don't waste your time.

Crashes. I tried many times to open an audio file to convert it to rest and it starts working beautifully but then it stops about halfway through. Other than that it’s awesome. But I needed to not stop or crash. I hope you’re doing an update to fix it otherwise I’m gonna have to get a refund. I would rather give you five stars shortly. Let me know. Thank you!

Waste of yo $$$. If you correct what it has dictated before you save it to a file- you can’t save it. It just deletes it. Be sure to copy everything before you attempt to save it or edit it. Also it just stops listening about 25-30 seconds in. So you have to save about 5 files for a 2:30 recording. Forget about this piece of junk.

Love this app. My dad is 97 and has become totally deaf. This has been a life saver! I used to write everything down. That got to be very hard on the arm and hands!!! I do wish there was a way to make the text bigger. If there is I can’t figure it out. Highly recommend !

This app has flaws. While recording is going on words spoken are being typed but it starts to change words in your speech typed changing the meaning of the sentence. Not good. Not satisfied with this app. Would rate it lower for performance around a 3.9 and higher for cost. Not a good sale.

It’s pretty good. I like it thus far, but I hate that if I type a change, I cannot go back to recording the message. I’ve had to restart one memo over and over.

Able to Import Audio Files. This feature has saved me hours. I’ve been trying to transcribe a recorded book written by a friend, and I was about to completely give up before I found this app. Thank you so much.

Must rely on it day-in-and-day-out. My wife is literally deaf, so we use it almost totally for me to “talk” to her . I dictate into the I- phone and hand it to her; she reads it and speaks back to me . Sure, some words get messed-up, but it does a remarkable job . Without it, we’d really have much more serious communication problems. Thx.

Maybe not for audio file transcription. I was specifically looking for an app that could import an imported voice recording and then transcribe it. I was impressed by the developers written responses to clients, and could see that the price is right for my occasional need for this task, so I purchased the premium version and then immediately imported a recording of a friend that I had made using my go-to recording app which is Voice Record Pro, with my iPhone sitting next to the MacBook Air over which the voice was being heard. That means I was recording a broadcast voice rather than a person talking into the iPhone mic. Then I exported that to my iCloud account, then I imported that from iCloud into VoiceToText Pro Premium, but it was not able to even get into the ballpark of doing a minimally acceptable transcription. Obviously this is not an optimal situation, but it is a real world task that is needed.

Quick response!. The support team was very timely in getting my issue fixed. It turned out to be a setting my phone and not a bug with in the app! So excited to get back to using it, it makes my homework so much easier and actually super fun. It feels so effortless to turn out large amounts of typing, truly a saving grace!!

Amazing in its simplicity. I downloaded this app the write essays faster, and it does has all of the functions that make it quick and successful. Not to mention the accuracy of the voice analyzer.

I’ve been using the pro version for a couple of years and it worked OK but I updated the app four days ago and it erased my entire file base I lost all my notes (I use this for my daily record of hours worked in my business) then I tried to contact the developer twice no three times still no answer could not find any technical assistance on Google and there is virtually no where to turn to so I’m dropping this from my life right now. Beware...

Daily Use. I am almost deaf and use Voice to Text daily. Other than having to push buttons twice for a brief sentence or two, the app works perfectly.

Helping others. This is a godsend to a totally deaf person who is waiting on an operation. Most people dont know how frustrating it is for people to repeat themselves why you try your best to understand and communicate. If this program continues to work it will bridge a gap for a hearing disabled person.

Keep getting error. I keep getting this stupid error about “speech recognition unavailable” why??!!

Doesn’t work. My first use I transcribed a meeting in which the file disappeared and I can’t find it. While watching it transcribe, it missed 1/2 of the conversation. I re-transcribed it last night and this morning when I went to review the document, a pop up to review the app came up and my transcribed document was gone again. What a waste of time and money.

Ability to add to a note. Would be nice to edit notes (with voice) or add additional voice to an existing notes. I use the app to keep track of my billable hours but there is no way to add to a note throughout the day. I have a bunch of individual notes at the end of the day, and have to piece them together. Great app, just not perfect for my use.

Having issues with app. Doesn’t work!

Not user friendly. This app was a waste of money. It spits out too many incorrect words to the point I often wonder if it would be quicker for me to just transcribe the entire thing, myself. There’s no way to save the transcriptions on the app and it won’t save to my downloads, so I have to do old the school ‘cut and paste’ into an email to myself. If there’s an easier way, would love to know. But again, it’s not very intuitive. Very disappointed:(

Accurate. I just started using this app. It works nice. A lot more accurate than apples built in speech program. Now I can save some time while being lazy and not typing.

Disappointed on the convert Audio Files to Text feature!. You should at least provide a trial version of the App so potential users can try out using the translation from an external voice file feature before they pay for the subscription. Just add a watermark to the text output but at least the user will know if your app will work before wasting they money then finding out it doesn’t. I can’t believe how horrible it did while translating my voice memo file.

Loooong files. Hi, I read that the app would transcribe audio files longer than sixty seconds so I bought the premium subscription. Although it transcribes a quarter page of text I need it to transcribe a one hour long conversation. I recognize this is a huge request. However, I’m not able to use the app. Could I get a refund?

Can’t record more than 60 Seconds using premium?. I’m using this app to record class notes but constantly have to save to 60 sec recoding via text in a note then start another recording session. This leaves gaps in conversation. How can I record more than 60 seconds at a time to one note?

Simple, lots of languages, easy to use, accurate. This app has everything I was looking for in a speech to text software app. I really like it, but I wish there was a way to turn off advertisements.

Despite hopeful expectations, the app continues to crash!. I have tried this app on and off for several months in hopes bugs would be fixed. I have tried to transcribe my thoughts of significant importance multiple times. Only to be disappointed when the app does not save it and says to contact support. This app does not support the latest Apple products and iOS devices with consistency. It can maybe save one note but my experiences trying to save a second note crashes the app! At this point it is time to eliminate it from my apps for good.

Some issues. Before purchasing this app, transcribing from voice to text, was excellent in the beginning. After purchasing stayed the same for a short period of time. After several uses, the conversion from audio to text became less accurate. Now the app doesn’t recognize the voice or unable to start transcribing into text consistently. I try to restart the app and the phone and close all apps and and. I hope they can help with this issue

Extremely helpful f. I had a stroke so typing is difficult and takes awhile. This makes it possible for me to produce a document. Very easy to use!

GAME CHANGER. I am an Instructional Designer and online instructor. There are many opportunities to create audio files from lectures, interviews and video ... there hasn’t been an affordable means to create transcripts. Using voice to text I am able to rapidly produce manuscripts to help learners access content offline. I am also using the program to “speak my book into existence”

I am crazy about this app!. I decided to buy this app. And I really love it I don’t regret it at all I keep a lot of notes on it and also use it to fill in passwords I don’t wanna type out...LOL Thanks keep up the good work!

Great App!. Very Helpful app. Time saving by transcribing voice messages/ documentation and it gives you the option of saving it to your notes, file, or email for later retrieval.

Ineffective...It just doesn’t work.. Several times I have found myself all the way to the end of a page of dictation but the software has only recorded half of what I spoke. I don’t trust it Now I realize that it will only record 60 seconds at a time in the free version. I would be happy to upgrade to the premium version and only 599 a year but it will automatically renew at the end of the year and you can’t cancel in advance without losing the value of your first years subscription, well that’s the way they like to play the game and I wish them luck

Sensitivity is good, Saving notes is not that much!. The application is reasonably sensitive to speech including medical terms, which is rather impressive, however, despite using the premium version, I have lost several notes due to some glitches while saving the text

Five star amazing. Best dictation app I have seen.. Five star amazing. Best dictation app I have seen. I could not get the star icon above to respond to my tapping. Voice to Text Pro exceeds all my expectations. My only suggestion would be for a prominent warning to confirm and SAVE a transcription note so that it is not lost if the device is used for, another function such as an incoming call, or an alarm, or viewing a stopwatch. That cost me a note. By emailing myself a note, I am able to copy and paste it into a word document and edit it readily. This is a great boon for producing legal or personal documents and records. I find the transcription is great for keeping track of athletic progress, such as elapsed jogging times, pulse rates, distance, and weather conditions. Thank you Hugo Prione !!! Jim L. Doesn’t transcribe audio files as it states. So frustrated. Doesn’t let youSelect video/audio files from your phone as it states it would and transcribe. Wouldn’t have paid money for a feature that doesn’t work

Beyond the 1 min test. Maybe it’s me. I tested and then bought, thinking features like cap will work and the command for erase or delete would show up. Im disappointed. I still can’t go beyond 1 min. After a min the app asks me to copy, share after a min.

Horrible app. Zero stars. You have to manually save any transcripts which wouldn’t be a big deal except for the fact they completely erase if the phone screen orientation shifts.

Eh. It’s good for short translation. But if you’re translating anything over a minute it stops.

Very Accurate. This app has the best voice recognition that I have ever used.

Hideous video ad comes on before translation. Every time I dictated something, a hideous video advertisement came on. If I interrupted it, the dictated message was scrubbed. I imagine that the genius who created this app expects that serving up a video ad before actually doing anything will become the rage henceforth.

Only one minute.... This app does a good job changing recording to text but it only allows recording up to one minute. What is the use in that case? I would not mind paying a premium or watching commercials to increase the time.

Didn’t work. It didn’t work. I spent two days trying to find what was wrong. I got the error 1,100. Never had response from support. It was only recording the first 30-40 seconds. That’s it… on the pro version… I’m cancelling.

Tried it in Arabic. Excellent transcription to your voice. Wish it can do the same with audio files.

Remove name of app from screen. What you state is on the same screen with the name of the app at the top. This confusing for my cognitively disabled hearing impaired clients. Also I can’t make the font bigger.

Sadly it only works with some of the words some of the time. I wish this was more accurate considering they call them self “pro”.

Horrible First Impression. I first touched the mic emblem on the Voice toText Pro after purchase. I get Error message: “Speech recognition is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” I tapped something only to be charged twice the annual fee and then got same error message.

Review. Text Pro works great! I found I can get the correct spelling for the word “Elixir” just by talking to my fone.

Doesnt work through bluetooth. Doesnt work through bluetooth in my car. It accesses the phone feature and it doesnt display the text or end the recording.

Bait and switch. I understand selling a premium version but it seems to me having at least a limited value add without the premium version would be an incentive for user to want to step up to premium. It felt like a bait and switch to me.

Tracking needs work. The app seems to not be able to keep up with the words being said. It misses whole sentences and changes/creates its sentences.

Life saver. I use it to finish my work when I'm too tired or busy, I love it

Not working in Arabic no text. Update: I was contacted and told to press the confirm button to see the notes. There wasn’t the first time but then a check mark appears and I did click it. Just to find out that this is nothing I literally spoke about 50 words in Arabic and it only wrote 5 word!!!!! Get some other app that might work, I am still looking. Deleting the application now Waste of time ———— It shows waves of voice Didn’t see any text And noted are for premium so I can’t see hot good or not it is- ——-

Bought premium. It didn’t register somehow Deleted an entire hour of a lecture I really needed to have. Interface hard to use. The free App on the iPhone works much better.

Need to find another app. This hasn’t helped my transference from voice to text. Very difficult to use unless someone reads into the microphone very slowly.

Pendleton Vision. Not able to transcribe very much and not able to transcribe correctly. There was a lot of noise in background. Several voices were speaking. But was able to import from voice memos.

Terrible. I need this for taking notes for work. I have a disability and I thought would be a solution. It isn’t catching the words and there is a huge lag. A waste of money.

Setup. I paid to get premium but it did not work on an incoming call

No good. Premium needs more information. Is this subscription? What is the cost of said subscription? What am I allowed to do with so call ed 60 seconds? To many questions not answered. I wasn’t able to do anything or see the value of this app.

Awful. Amazing how as soon as I paid for a full subscription the quality went to hell. It doesn’t recognize half the words I’m trying to say and that wasn’t the case before. I said verbalizations and it wrote verbal Isaiah shins. It’s infuriating. If I say “colon” instead of inserting the punctuation (:) it writes CALL LYNN. Waste of time and money Sent from my iPhone

Doesn’t work. I bought this to transcribe a podcast and it keeps stopping telling me that I need to pay for the premium version. I paid for the premium version which is how it allows me to do the transcription in the first place. Skip this one this might be trash.

Worthless. It stops and deletes translated data if the phone locks, receives a call, or the conversation ends. I have tried to translate several recordings and always end up with nothing.

Great App. The app works great. I use it to translate with my students. Way too many ads in the free version. Had to upgrade.

Erased everything!. I can’t seem to get my transcriptions saved, even when I selected autosave. This is a huge waste of my time and money, and I am going to ask for a refund.

Terrible!. I paid for this application and it does not work. I tried converting voice recordings from different lengths like 3 minutes, 5 minutes..etc. It only transcribes one random sentence and that is it. I am very disappointed!

Creating Speedy Blogs. Best text you voice app I have used.

What happened?. This app WAS (note tense) a great and for me, a necessary tool to do all of my business. Now when I open the app, speak my sentence, all of a sudden a pop up comes on, it starts playing some ad and wants to redirect me Wow they really messed this up. Deleted it

Not perfect but a fair price. 2.99 a year is a great price. I am trying to transcribed videos. It gets 75 percent right. That’s pretty good for 2.99. I would like to see it hit 95 percent but overall great for what I am doing.

Horrible Got robbed!. It requested $7.99, which I was ok paying! Once I paid , I go to the app and it’s asking for a monthly fee for premium! I do not need premium, but it doesn’t allow me to save the recordings!!

Confusing. Little to no instructions for usage, video advertising gets in the way. Don’t know how to use the application so I can’t give a good 5 star rating.

Horrible. I have used other transcription services that showed when each speaker changed and allowed you to define s cations of conversation. This product produced 1 large paragraph with ridiculous errors! BTW 4 different unhappy nicknames were already taken!

Don’t buy this app. I bought the premium version and paid the $2.99 per year. The app does not work. My notes are not saved. The base version still says that I can buy premium version. This app requires work!

Use to work great. The app used to be my go to when I wanted to do a voice to text. However, even though my subscription is paid through for one month the app will not acknowledge that I have already paid.
