Money siphon. The pay-to-win is strong with this game! I’d consider myself a good gamer, and found it was really hard to make it past the second world without grinding meticulously. You can only run dungeons so many times a day before they want you to pay for more turns, if you want a guaranteed monster recruit, it costs $5 to $10. That’s just for the lowest level, to level up your monsters you need to catch them multiple times. It REALLY gets in the way of fun. I like progression, I like story, this game reminds me of pushing a boulder up a hill and when you run into the rare chance of seeing a small divet to rest so you don’t knock back down, it costs you 10 real world dollars. (The boss of the dungeon wanted to join my party, I was very close to spending the money) It’s so hard to level up items in this game also. It’ll take you a couple days of free play to scrounge up enough to level it up one level. Then with all the grinding you run into another item that’s better than the base item you had but not as good as your upgraded version. So it’s telling you that you have another couple days of grinding ahead. I honestly love the visuals of this game, but I’m uninstalling it, there are too many pay walls and this game seems VERY geared to people who have no self control.

Really fun... until you have to make another account. I’ve really enjoyed this game (I’m a fan of retro-like games) but I wish there was a way to save your progress with your account. I have made many accounts because I’ve had to switch my phone out sometimes and I’ve had to start from the beginning every-time with a new account name. I know this uses Game Center but it doesn’t work for me like that so I wish something like Apple ID that uses a password and saves your game progression. This game is fun I just would have more fun if I could always play with one account instead of the same name but with numbers at the end.

Really awesome, however there is a horrible glitch that should probably be fixed. So, oh my goodness this is the best game EVER. Perfect for playing through the weekends or school breaks. However there is a really bad glitch that I really wish would be fixed ( which is why I gave a four) So, whenever your fighting, and your character is about to die, you want to use a potion, right? Well you can’t! When I’m fighting, my character will have really low health and I try to give them a potion, but it tells me that none of my players need any consumables right now, which very obviously, they do. This causes me to die in a lot of important boss battles that I can’t get past. Please fix this!

Not worth paying to win. You can’t make it threw the game unless you pay to get better armor and supplies, but when you think you’re good after spending over 10 dollars the levels only get 2x harder making you have to keep wasting you’re money and buy better supplies. Example: an dragon egg (mystery crate type system) costs 750 gems right now, it’s almost impossible to get gems so you have to buy some, but when you actually get one after using 10$ to get 1000 gems, most of the time (like how I did) you get everything worthless and a decent item which usually isn’t good unless you upgrade which takes forever to do also. My conclusion is, play the game and waste you’re money, or take my information and don’t play the game unless you love blowing over 20 dollars on a game that gets boring really quick.

come on. so I played this game when I was younger and I got pretty good and my account was saved on the cloud and so couple years later I decided to play it again and when I loaded it up it completely reset and I had to start all over. I was a bit mad but I got over it and started playing. So about an hour in the game freezes. And it keeps freezing until it won’t let me play anymore. So I think back to what I do with most apps and reset my phone. So I turn it back on to see it still doesn’t work so I try deleting the app and re installed it to see if that had worked it had but… I had to start all over again literally back at the beginning of the game. So I gave ip and deleted it

Not too great. The game itself is actually pretty fun. But the fact that you have to grind so incredibly hard to get half decent familiars and loot completely shuts most of the fun out of the game. It wouldn’t be relatively bad if it weren’t for the energy and how bad that mechanic is. Yeah, the creators obviously don’t want you grinding 24/7 and want to limit your time to play. But 1 energy every four minutes doesn’t seem very ok for a game that requires you to put so much work into getting good loot. The amount of time it takes to get one single energy really effects the time played for players and eventually, they will lose interest and move onto other games. This is personally my least favorite part of the game but, drop rates, XP earning, and capture rates are completely horrible in this game. Going into heroic dungeons will probably only guarantee you 2 capture chances, and even then, the likeliness of you even catching a familiar is extremely low. And schematics are completely stupid. I spent 3 days trying to get a schematic for one familiar fusion and even then, the fusion wasn’t even that good. I still enjoy the game but i think that it needs a few fixes.

Amazing game if I could I wold give it 6 stars. This game is amazing witch is rare for most free Mobile games now days witch basically beg for money though you can purchase stuff in this game most of it is just cosmetics or gems I haven’t spent a cent on this game and I have progressed just as much as any other player not only that but the community is awesome to if you are new to the game just ask for help in the chat and people will most likely help you the vibe is amazing to every thing is pixelated and the music fits it perfectly if you are looking for a mobile game to get this one you won’t regret it

Needs work - crashing is too costly for the user. Waited hours for my energy to refill, delved into a dungeon, and got one of the video chests. Normally, that would be a good thing. However, as soon as the vide finished and I clicked to dismiss...my game crashed and I lost all of my progress for that dungeon as well as the energy used to start it up. When I loaded back into the game I had hopes that they accounted for crashes and wouldn’t screw the player out of their energy but no such luck. I feel as though it’s not technologically impossible to tell when a user crashed out and to compensate them so that their experience isn’t soured. Definitely makes me want to NEVER invest in the micro transactions, knowing that my game could crash and the energy I just bought was completely wasted.

So far so good. I've been looking around the AppStore for about a month now for a decent progressive type game. This seems to hit the nail on the head: No Pay2Win- if you're having troubles, the grind process on easier dungeons is not bad like other games. The AutoRun feature is perfect for those who want a game running in the background while playing other games on pc or console. Plus it's Kongregate- this company puts out amazing work and their support team is one of the best as far as customer service responsiveness and communication with the community. Keep it up Kong. If you're on the fence about this game still, just try it- it's free, nothing to lose!

New update. Up till this point I’ve had nothing but great things to say about this game. The artwork was well done, the gameplay is well thought out, drops rates decent, guild play engaging, grinding better than most... Until this new update. The first words to come to mind are.... LAZY!!!! It’s not just the awfully thought out nerf that have made 50% of the top tiered players irrelevant all of the time and money spent irrelevant. It’s the fact that their “new balanced” dps’s is just just a ridiculously high damage %, even the bosses increase damage is so ridiculously high that the damage reduction of the average t9 tank became completely mute over night for just the average t9 raid. The worst part is that all of the money spent getting your character to that point became a complete waste. To make it worse, the new dungeon content is in one way shape or form just a reuse of the first zones you play in or items just painted in a different color. For all of the incredibly long amount of time we had to wait for this new stupid update, this let down ruined the game for many. T10 almost seems too mundane now to even want to grind towards. Word of advice, bring back the old tank and just increase the percentages of the average dps gear. Don’t take the easy way out and increase each boss’s damage increase % to an average of 50%-80% and call it good. You made it incredibly unenjoyable for well rounded play and you made a mockery of what has been up to now a 5 star game.

Bit Heroes exploits gambling addiction/mental illness to net massive profits via vastly overpriced micro-transactions. • The graphics beautifully reflect SNES aesthetic and invoke a nostalgic charm that carries the weak gameplay. • This is a “parallel play” game wherein players do not directly interact with each other using the game's RPG mechanics, but set up builds and teams with equipment and familiars found while grinding. • Players do interact socially using the game's chat mechanic, however, and the established community is generally fun, friendly, and very rarely toxic/abusive of one another. • The support team is one of the best aspects of the game, as they are always extremely kind and available. • Bit Heroes is a terrible, extremely unhealthy game on its own, but its charm and amazing community more than make up for its flaws.

Great Game! But.... I love this game! It’s so fun it’s every RPG I can ask for! But...the only thing I don’t like about it is the energy I personally never liked the energy feature in mobile games it takes away the fun and limiting you to few things if you have no energy. But the good thing about a player having no energy in this game is you can still do other stuff just as fun in this game like fishing! I’m not saying that the energy is terrible but I just don’t like it and it doesn’t belong in a game like this one this one is to good for energy. Boring. The featured review talks about how if there wasn’t an energy limit you could just grind easily and get a ton of familiars except artificially increasing the length of a game is the biggest pay to win gimmick ever. The game is lazily made. I don’t mind the game itself but everytime I try and get a familiar it fails unless you bribe it with super hard to get gems. It takes ridiculous amounts of items just to upgrade one rare piece of equipment. You have to watch adds to get the rare gear because it’s the only way you’ll even survive. Most of it is pay to win. There isn’t even a story! You could add a story that would take an hour to a week to write at most and essentially double the time without putting on an energy limit but that’s not going to happen because energy is how they make their money. The main way anyway. Oh, and the reason you have to grind for familiars is because of how rare they are even though they aren’t that useful they’re treated like gems and the game constantly rubs it in if you don’t have a full team of them. After the first two guaranteed familiars I completed the first map and guess what. I only got two familiar offers and they both failed when I tried to persuade them which by the way costs 1k gold and is rigged with a low success chance of about 40%. You can’t repeat levels, only dungeons and I never got another familiar offer from a repeated dungeon. It’s annoying, requires grinding, and get’s pretty boring when you add it all together.

Fun grinder. I have been playing for about six months now. Yes the game can be frustrating waiting for the perfect drop to complete a set or just getting to the next area. Over all the game is a blast. One of the very few games I go back to multiple times a day. Love the graphics the design very well done over all. The ptw element isn’t a show stopper, doesn’t seem to impact anything except for maybe pvp but This could just be me not focusing on my familiars. Would like to see a mail system or auction house and the option of using heal pots more than once a dungeon but it’s well worth getting. Give it a week or two before you make a decision. Player community in game is awesome the best I have seen in a long time.

Good Gameplay, way too much grind. I love the gameplay and feel of the game and it is pretty good with how much better the upgrades and different kind of loot make you feel more powerful. But the amount of grind necessary to upgrade gear, and acquire stronger gear is WAY too long. This is especially obvious with familiars. The fusion process is super cheap given that it takes you at least 10 runs to get the necessary familiars for even a common fusion. It only gets worse as you go up in rarity. This is mainly due to the fact that Familiars have two different RNGs. One to have a chance at trapping them and another to actually trap them. This is absolutely ridiculous when you have a 1% chance of getting some of these guys on both RNGs as then you would have a 1/10,000 chance of actually getting the familiar. This is on top of the fact that you have to get a specific familiar 6 times to fully upgrade it. That is just insane.

Great but... I love this game! I recently just installed it and it’s pretty fun. The only problem about this game is when I watch an ad for some loot, usually it sends an ad for “Idle Heroes”. You have to press the buttons to give the hero armor, and when I press all the buttons, it just says download! I click on the X in the corner of the ad and it just takes me to the App Store, making me have to exit out of the app, clear the app history and enter back in. And I don’t even get the loot! That’s why I’m rating this 4 stars. Other than that, this game is really fun and it’s nice how you added that when you create a character, you can make it a girl and you’re not just stuck as a boy.

Oh boy here we go. The title says it buddy. This is the best mobile game ever not to be a jerk but this is the best. Ok 1st the loot system: you might not get good stuff at first but then it takes off .I find a bunch of loot because I am a high tier player but this game takes time to get good at. 2nd: Upgrades upgrades upgrades, the system of ever changing loot needs to be made better right?Upgrading loot is satisfying to do, stats from default go from 90 to 120 to150 and to do that to a sword is, to explain in one word (well two words) , pretty epic. 3rd miscellaneous: flaming horse? We go that! Glow in the dark fish? That too baby! Lightning induced enchants?! Yeah man!! We have a TON of random stuff to collect and gather on the side. Conclusion: yeah get this game.

Fun Game but…. I do enjoy the idle rpg scene this game gives to the community, but it comes at a cost, for now hopefully. My first time playing I had bought the starter pack and the Mount pack (~15 USD) great, no issues there. But then I happened to get a glitch or bug or whatever you want to call it, where when I try to open my game, it’s just a blank screen, 15 seconds go by and it crashed out. So in response i deleted the game and try to reinstall it. Once I do so, I see there’s no “restore purchase” option. Sh** out of luck because I didn’t make an account. I can take partial blame for that but I won’t take blame for the game becoming unplayable after it being closed and never wanting to reopen again. Hopefully I can get a response with some options here. I did leave a 4* because the game IS worth playing and every game has their bumps in the road so for me, it gets the benefit of the doubt. If you take anything from this review, let it be [Make an account as soon as you finish the tutorial to ensure you lose nothing if a fatal error occurs like myself]

Remove the energy feature. In all seriousnes I actually like the game and got hooked on it but there’s one small problem. Why the hell did you add energy in the game!? It makes the game very limited and it leaves you with the choice of either buying it with gems to buy more(200 gems for 20 energy which is insane) or end up buying energy with irl money when you run out of it which mind you it runs out vey fast. I know that you people behind kongregate and like any other company want money but this is a very abusive and shallow way to do it. As long as this trashy feature exists this game is only going to get bad reviews on the most part for the pay to win strategy you got there. Very cheap thing to do.

So far so good. The app is pretty good so far. Interesting and unique way of playing too. I just started playing yesterday and the game has treated me pretty well. I understand that certain things have the be locked in order to give people goals or they have to have a certain story item to unlock it. But why is the chat locked? If it’s to prevent bot advertisements maybe make a verification system if it’s not too much work? That’s my only complaint about this game and it is really good! The music is nice and the speed multiplier is a nice touch for grinding. I would recommend this app to people who like nostalgia, want something to play with buddies or are just bored.

Nostalgia. This is a great game, no question there. But what makes it a great game is the feeling of something original and fun. It goes towards the very basics of turn based gaming and is a roam type game which makes it even better. I had this game on a different account which was level 128, and now I’m starting over cause I lost my old phone... but never mind that. If you’re looking for a great game look no further. U may see people complaining about the energy system or “pay to win” but this is neither of those. It has the option to buy things in the game, but honestly they don’t really help you. More of just a boost for an hour or two. And the energy, a lot of games use this to keep players from becoming super good within the first 45 minutes. This is purely so you don’t get bored and delete the game. This is a super fun game I honestly would recommend it to anyone who likes classical games. And don’t worry, the game is just like the video, no ripoff there 🥴

Luvin this game. My character is level 82 atm, so I feel I can write a informed review. First off this game is one that you can play for months-years. So if you’re looking for a quick over the weekend game this isn’t it. Secondly this game can be entirely FTP since the in- game currency drops regularly from dungeons. I’m not 100% ftp, I bought a new player bundle for $5.00, but it really wasn’t necessary. Thirdly I typically don’t like energy based games, but this game seems to do it alot better than most, and it actually helps you pace your gameplay. Lastly don’t let the old school graphics fool you, this game has surprising depth and plenty to keep you occupied. Most games on the apple store are borderline garbage and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, but 8 bit heroes is a rare exception. Give it a try.

Great but I have a suggestion. So you know how you can get any hero? Well I have a good idea what about custom dungeons so when fighting dungeons you have fun right what about player made dungeons to test you yourself and your friends skill want to fight your own party? Use unlocked characters and there max levels reached to create several armies and add dungeon points which you get from beating other players dungeons you can randomly get them in the game but there used to upgrade your dungeon when you beat a party you get 5 dungeon points when they beat yours they get dungeon points depending on how much enemies they defeated then you add a boss room where you can place 1 character from your collection set it’s levels and it’s stats get buffed by 25% each time you level it up it adds another 25% capping at 500% please look into this or atleast respond to show you read this please and thank you!

Fun game with huge flaw. I love 8-bit style new games, like this one. However, I ended up deleting it because of a flaw that ruined the fun for me. If the app is ever not active for any length of time (just closing the lid on my iPad case) the game disconnects you from the server. That’s not bad per se, but it’s annoying to have to manually click on the connect button and wait for the game to load just because I walked to another room. If the game isn’t active for more than a few minutes (such as a bathroom break )all progress in a dungeon is lost. Other similar games don’t have this issue, so I see no good reason for this game to have it

Weird Distribution of Content. Many things about this game are amazing… the rng is fun, there are challenging objectives, the cosmetics look amazing, and building up one’s character can be very fulfilling, however… the only people who really get to experience new content in this game are those who have previously grinded for months/years to get to the highest tier. One can be very easily motivated to quit the game because it can become so repetitive staying at the same tier for months at a time, the game requires a very high amount of dedication and many people don’t/have that much when it comes to a mobile game, therefore only the few of those who are at the latest of late game are able to experience new additions to the game because the only additions to the game are just higher tiers. I think the game would appeal to so much more if the developers focused not on the minority of whales, but the majority of average players when adding content.

Good game lots of work. Let me fist start off by saying i really like the game The artwork The mechanics it all blends nice and well but what really makes this game frustratingly fun is the fact that you will find your self in pointless dungeon and grinding hours and hours just for a pice of loot or a ruin or other things you need to build up your character so he or her can become stronger and not die all the time like it happens to me but what’s really sad is the Energy is absolutely dreadful look I understand that the developers don’t want you wasting your time on a game but at the same time players like myself are really competitive and will stop at nothing until I achieve what ever my goal may be wither that be a ruin or a pice of armor you see what I’m saying I could go on about how much was promised but sooo little was given in return I really enjoy this game I do but it seems to me that the dungeons are really repetitive I almost feel bad for calling in other people to do my job for me I hope that both you there person that reads this and the developers that made this game takes the time to read this and get a little understanding of what people like have to deal with when it comes to bit hero’s so please all I ask of you developers is FIX YOUR GAME!!

Unfairly judged. This game is seen by many one star reviews as pay to win, and is turning genuinely interested people off of the game. The first and main point brought up, is the fact to progress you need to use energy and that can be purchased with gems, which are hard to obtain without real world currency. This is an oversimplification because, completing dungeons for the first time grants energy. As well as dungeons you can also play the minigames, without using energy such as the pvp or fishing. Another common point is that you can purchase gear for real world currency, however with a bit of grinding you can get better gear than that. The final point I bring up is the fact this game is meant to be played with friends. People point out the difficulty of quests without mentioning anyone in your friends list and in your guild can join your fights. If you have someone high enough level it can be super easy, and the person can be used even offline and you just play for them. In conclusion, people have unfairly judged this game without all the facts presented to them.

Not the greatest but it’s good. This game actually has gameplay and other stuff, and doesn’t have those “lvl 0 noob vs 99 pro” ads. Sometimes the game is just boring but overall thanks for not making a pay to win type of game. (creator of this game.) but there is one thing that annoys me a lot. There is a option to bribe them with gold which is actually kinda rigged honestly. I had threw all of my gold away to bribe monsters but they’ll never join me because like said it’s a bit rigged. The only times I was able to actually be able for them to join me is when I work really hard for 500 diamonds just to get a really strong familiar but don’t even do much because that’s what it’s supposed to be like I guess. But I don’t know about anything that Buggs me so yeah.

Some problems I think should be fixed. I have been playing for almost a year now and when ever I get stuck on a dungeon before the main one with three stars I try to grind for familiars and it gets so long and so little familiars so I think that what I put below is a great salon and it makes it not overpowered. It is hard to get a lot of familiars and I think they’re should be a reputation levels and the reputation levels get the player a higher Capture rate but it only works on ones that have already been completed and the higher reputation level the higher capture rate each level gives the player +2% so it is easier to farm familiars and only unlocks after the player has completed the first three dungeons and the bonus dungeon.

Really fun game only one issue read whole review. This game is insanely fun and really hard to get off of when you start, but there is one problem. For most people I’m sure have this same problem of getting kicked out of the game after your first time opening the game, like I have it’s gotten annoying. There are three ways you can solve this either 1 the best and easiest just uninstall and reinstall the game, 2 wait a couple hours and try again, or 3 turn your wifi off and power off your device for 1-2 min this way isn’t a guarantee but it does work. I don’t think it’s a big problem it will get annoying every now and then but it’s a small price to pay for a great game so I think you should give it a shot before you think it’s bad. Thank you. Continuous crashing. App refuses to open anymore. It started crashing when trying to open two days ago and the chances of it actually opened got slimmer and slimmer until finally now the game doesn’t even load. Maybe I’m out of phone data but I believe this is a game sided problem.——————————— Update: when I uninstall and reinstall the app it opens but after a while it begins crashing when I open it again. This is starting to become absurd and annoying. I have so much love for this game because it’s amazing and a serious time killer but how am I supposed to play when the game wont even let me??? I’ve spent way too much money and time on this game to just forget about it. please fix this crashing issue ASAP!! The screen turns gray upon opening then 15 seconds or so after it just sends me back to the Home Screen. Ridiculous. I do have an account with lots of good stuff on it so I don’t lose any progress but it’s still extremely annoying to have to delete and re-download the game five times each day.

Energy?. I really like this game but there’s only 1 problem with it that I found found repelling. I personally think a game should be play to keep a players attraction to the game for “longer” amount of time. I feel that if flags and dungeons got progressively harder, even more so than now (whilst doing away with energy and auto battle), with end game being about the same in terms of time played to character level you could go without energy. What I’m saying is energy shouldn’t be the definition of power seeing that you need it to level up, earn loot and make gold. If you made the levels progressively harder than they are now you’d have no choice but to play the last level repeatedly until you could advance. This isn’t MySpace in mid 2000s games shouldn’t be based on time because really if you’re going off of micro transactions the only consumers you’d be attracting are children with no money. My opinion.

Good game but need improvements. I enjoy grinding and all but it hurts when you waited all that time for your things to refill and your game crashes back to back and all the tokens that you just spen goes to waste ... but it’s a great game I feel that every other level up you should be rewarded with a refill of energy, and you should fix the rng a little but this game is for the intermediate gamer , don’t not play it unless your willing to grind to lvl 100 I’m currently lvl 40 and im on Z3 D1 , and I’m telling you save everything you get gems , gold , pvp winning , even mount guts as much as possible it will pay off ... I’m just spent my 850 gems on a defense egg and got a red one it’s all right , I feel that a offense pet is the better choice... but if I could do it again I would either saved them for major exp tomb .. good luck tho you’ll need it and a lot of time on your hands

I have major issues with this game but I still love the game as a whole!. I’m 100% sure that 80% of the people who play this game have the same issue that I have when getting better loot and familiars in this game.. which is luck. You would either have the weirdest luck and get a mythic schematic at lvl 20 or you would have hardly any luck at all and will still have epic gear at around lvl 500. That doesn’t make sense right? So why is it that when I was at a low level I got a mythic schematic as my first major item to get in the game. ALSO why is it that when I had a 500% chance to get an good item but still don’t get anything good?! Like I would be going into a raid that has a 400% chance to find an item, I use the bitgor that gives me a additional 500%, so together that’s 900, but then when I use all my raid shards, I still don’t get any legendary, set or mythic item at all, it’s just unfair, but you would only have more of an chance to get an epic in chest and nothing else, and I would be going into regular dungeons and do battles that give me no item when I have an 800% chance to find one, but must be weird right. I know I said a lot and that I was gonna talk about the familiars, but I think I wrote an essay so imma stop but please developers, try to make it a bit easier for others to get better loot. it’s fun but sometimes annoying. The game is basically pay to win, and if someone says it’s pay to boost well that pretty much is what pay to win means, it boosts you ahead of other players and the game is easy as hell. This game also has a problem with my familiars and my character taking forever to attack, even when I put it on 5x it takes a few seconds which is really annoying. Another thing that’s annoying (and this one is kinda dumb complaining about) but it takes forever to beat levels later in the game since you rarely ever get better stuff and you have to keep on replaying the older levels over and over and over and over and over again

Bird noises*. firstly, you need to stop trying to make me pay, im never gonna spend even a penny of my money secondly, the familiars trying to join me and the merchants trying to sell me and the chests that want me to watch them, THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS YES HOW MANY MORE TIMES MUST I CLICK YOU, the only part of the game you can let run by itself is the gauntlet thirdly although pay to win is what people say, im already at level 67 in under a week, you just have to be active, i’ve surpassed the smaller guilds i was in so i switched to a bigger guild so now i dont have to worry about grinding cause theres a bunch of level 200+ players back to the main point, fourthly: the ad for idle heroes makes me watch it twice or thrice to actually let me recieve the reward lastly if you can stand the advertising and the pay to win being shoved in your face every now and then, then this game is good also whats up with the energy system??? if you want players to play more then remove it unless you just want to milk that extra bit of cash from players desperate enough to buy energy you capitalist pigs

Cosmetic Changes. Hello Kong keep doing the great job of adding these QOL changes, as a player coming in & out of the game in a span of 5 years, this has been a game to keep coming back to. One thing though, during the switch to Unity there has been some cosmetics still kinda blurry and blobby, as cosmetics being one of the best end game things in game and what makes a character truly unique I ask to please have a team go through and fix some of these cosmetics and define for the greater good, for example the orange bandana & borg face cosmetics still looks blurry. Well anyways keep it up Kong. Love the game.

Dear devs,. I am writing this as a honest review and as a frequent player of this game I feel like I have a understanding of the game. Bit heroes is a great mobile game it doesn’t matter if you like to spend hours playing the game to get that sweet reward or just pull your phone out on the bus and play for 5 mins. The game doesn’t force you to play a lot to get good but there are some problems. One problem I have come across is gems they are currency that is either gained threw adds and real money or gained very slowly threw quests. When you go to get “free gems” from the in game store it rarely works you can do one of the surveys for around a 100 gems but they NEVER work you can go threw the hole survey and follow what it’s making you do no matter what you will never receive anything I’ve tried it multiple times it doesn’t work. The last problem I have encountered is controls it is hard to get used to and would be so much easier is you had one of those joystick things and the player was locked on the screen

Great Game, Also Very Grindy. This game is a very grindy game. If you like the feeling of accomplishment after real life weeks/months of grinding for a single item or duplicate familiars to progress more, then this might be the game for you. The beginning of the game is very easy to progress, but once you reach the fourth zone, most player’s progress will become very slow. It might take up to a week to beat the fourth zone after some grinding, and it progression through the zones get slower overall. There’s lots of great guides for this game to help with progression. A profusion of luck is involved in recruiting the familiars and getting the equipment you want. The 5 different energy implementations in the game can can mean over an hour of playing per day to make good use of most of it. There’s also an auto mode, which helps out so much if you want to make some progress while wanting to do other things. This is a great long term game to play if you like collecting and occasional accomplishments after many hours of grinding

Great Game! Update Ideas.. Overall, this game is amazing. However there are some things that I think would be better for the game. First, I think it would be a good idea to make a trading system that you get to by pressing a button on a persons page to request a trade. Next, I think there should be and option that when you're playing, you could invite your friends to play a dungeon in real time, not just their character. Lastly, I think it would be cool if every time you get a duplicate, your chance to get that item again would be lowered.

Its good but need better balancing. The game in general is awesome the dungeons tho when u climb up the dungeons it gets harder plus u also need monster to help u that part make no sense I wish u could have other player in the normal game play here something to the developer to the game plz make the game a bite more easy bc I just hate the fact that u can’t use more than one potion that’s dumb other games u can use more than one idk why there a limit ur basically saying I can only eat one meal per day and the meal not even helping the monster in the game is just too powerful when u reach the snow area also low chances to get more monster u can’t also have a full team unlike pvp I feel like the developers know that’s it’s way too hard for beginners NURF THE GAME!!!!!!

Nope. Played for a few hours. Was fun. Next time I play, I get constant disconnects and can’t even log in due to this. Apparently that has been a known issue for YEARS. So I look online. Fixes are to reinstall or try again in a few hours. So I think alright, a few seconds to reinstall is no big deal. My account should be backed up like every other game that I sign in with iOS Game Center, right? WRONG. Apparently I need to sign in specifically with the special K account and go through all those hoops? So now I’m stuck with two options go back to square 1, or take days to recover the account that I played for a few hours. Even if I pick one of those options, I’ll likely have to reinstall the game again multiple times due to connectivity issues. Never played a game that’s this much hoop jumping. Next.

I love the game but.... I've been loving the game. It's fun, simple, and creative with its designs. The only problem is that I haven't been able to connect lately. When I open the app I see all the logos but soon after when the game says "loading, logging in" I get black screened and a banner saying "uh oh" "you have been disconnected". Once I press reconnect the same thing happens. I've uninstalled the game, restarted my phone, even got a new phone (i just happened to get my new phone when this occurred) but nothing fixed it. I would love to play the game again. I just started to get back into it and I was really close to finishing the area I was in. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Great game if you have free time. After surfing through many disappointing games that looked like a promising dungeon crawler esque RPG, I honestly had low expectations for this game, but man was I wrong, as this game took me by surprise about how fun it was. I really enjoy the turn based combat and how your moves change with each weapon. Developing your team of monsters with a humorous aesthetic is charming. It is not a pay to win game as you get gems pretty easily and, although you have to work for it, you can get most rare and powerful items for free. I have been playing it for a couple months and it is still exciting to clear those dungeons. Tip for anyone downloading the game. Send friend requests to high level people, as when there are boss stages, you can use their character to fight with you, making it way easier. But if you want a challenge, I don’t recommend doing that. Overall, great game and would recommend downloading it Keep doing what you’re doing devs

A few questions.... I have been playing this fantastic game for a few days and it’s already addicting. One thing that is happening is whenever you complete a dungeon you get the option to choose between Return and Finish. The finish button works, but it is the return button that i’m having issues with. my screen keeps on saying loading when i press it so then the only way to fix it is by going out of the game and back in. I don’t think this gives you the rewards for completing the dungeon, so that’s one thing i need to look into. It is only happening when i’m on auto mode, which gets me confused. I would appreciate it if you could fix this. Thanks so much. (FANTASTIC GAME OTHERWISE).

Fun game, but very pay to play.. Early on it’s charming enough and quite fun but once you’re at level 50 you run out of the freebies. Your luck on getting legendaries or captures sinks to horrendous rates, even when you spam 40 shards with bonus to find or capture. It eventually becomes a money sink, and the support doesn’t exist. You end up completing offers for free gems and maybe 60% of them pay out, the rest you have to go through missing gems compliant of which doesn’t accept my screen shot format making it a pot shot wholly dependent on their mood of investing. Bottom line is it’s an incredibly fun game with horrible rng that depends on real money to buy boosts to get a fair shot at good gear, depends on real money to grind, unless you’re fine with 10 mins a day playing and 1 to 2 he’s waiting and terrible support when it involves lost items. The gems aren’t even reasonably priced either.

Great Game!. This has to be one of the best RPGs of all time. There are so many levels, and so many types of gear. It takes a long while to get the best gear, finish the game, and get the the best of other stuff like runes, augments, and enchantments then, there is more stuff to do. There are events, PVP and fishing. New zones are also added every so often. Also, there is great character customization. You can customize your hair and skin tone, and you can use cosmetic gear to make yourself look better. Also, ads aren’t even a problem! You only need to watch them to get these weird chest thingies and get some free stuff. There is almost nothing wrong with this game. I know I sound like a dev pretending to be a player, but I swear I’m not. You need to download this game.

Fun and frustrating. (Edit) even more frustrating.... Fun game, frustrating reward videos. Click once wait for reward.... have to clock again to watch a 2nd time then wait..... 50% chance of mediocre reward or a third time of watching ANOTHER ad video for really really lame rewards for the FTP players trying to enjoy the game. (edit) I finally got one of the very elusive bosses to show up to be bribed or persuaded and decided since I enjoyed the game to spend some money on gems to bribe the boss.... the game proceeded to take my money and not add the gems to my account until after waiting with the bribe screen open for 20-30 minutes waiting for the gems to redeem.... the game got tired of waiting for me to decide to bribe or persuade and disconnected me from the game losing the boss and finally giving me my gems. I feel like I was tricked and swindled. This should be fixed!

Nice game but not all ads give rewards. Good game so far. I’m level 156 which is neither an amateur nor an advanced player. I’m having issues with getting rewards from video ads. Often times I’ll watch a video expecting to get a reward but I don’t receive it. The ad for the game “Endless Frontier” is shown a lot and I never am rewarded for viewing it. I have to watch an ad for a different game after the Endless Frontier ad and then I get a reward. I think the developers are probably aware of this issue, but if we’re still watching the ads regardless of rewards then why would they care? This is annoying because time is money, and I don’t like wasting my time for no reason. I’ve had similar issues with other games and the responses I’ve received after filing complains are along the lines of “We have no control over the content of our advertisers.” This is just untrue because companies choose who they do business with. If your advertisers are failing to do what others can then maybe you should rethink who you do business with.

Idea for your game. So I’ve been thinking, why don’t you add like real multiplayer? I know that you have guilds and worldwide chat and pvp. but I would like to go into a dungeon with my friend but instead of 3 slots when you go into a dungeon make it 2 slots and 2 slots for the other person too so basically like this. Player 1 Character Pet Player 2 Character Pet I hope you understood that and make it up to like 4 people but when it’s 3 players or 4 there is not pet just characters Here another example Player 1 Character Player 2 Character Player 3 Character Player 4 Character So basically no pets if it’s 3 or 4 players. And you also need to ready up, to go into the dungeon because you can also look into your inventory and such while waiting for people to join. Let me show you another example (==============================================) Multiplayer (==============================================) Ok so the reason I left it blank is because I want you guys to decide what’s gonna be on there. Anyways if you read this, I wanna say thank you for reading up to the end and I hope you guys add it into the game I really love the game but I would like if it had multiplayer, like I explained. A neat game. I downloaded this game recently and am really impressed it has no in app purchases automatically great adds aren’t thrown in your face and I have found adds tend to ruin free apps but the way this app incorporates adds is really honest and non intrusive I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun rpg that has many hours of playtime

Love the game. I love the game I haven’t encountered any bugs and it’s so much fun fighting all the mobs. I personally love all the pets and mounts you can get and I would also like to say that you should add a area where you can combine weapons or an area where you can breed different pets and mounts

Absolutely Amazing but.... Bit heroes is probably one of the best RPGs on the App Store to date but I have one complaint and one only and it stands with other games to but it’s not being able to restart your account and your progress I don’t know if it’s just me but I want to restart my account and because off that I haven’t been playing the game at all so please fix this.

I love the game but a bug has made me not able to continue. So I love the game it is great but I have come across a problem which is that I can not progress, I spent a large portion of the game grinding the first 2 worlds but randomly I realised the game doesn’t allow me to continue I am up to decrepit tomb and when I click it it shows how much energy is needed and has the play button able to be clicked but when I click it nothing happens and I have not been able to make it past since

Very good game, needs a few tweeks. Consistently very fun to play, a lot to do in the game and it is very rewarding, the only problems I’ve found are with the dungeons, sometimes the screen flickers between different map layouts as you’re running along and one very annoying problem were you can’t get rid of old low level items.... you can equip them but when you go to salvage parts they don’t get salvaged, they just hang around and it’s very annoying because your inventory starts to build random stuff that you don’t want

Awesome. This game has been a pretty fun game so far you won’t regret buying stuff from the store 2 😝bc frequently I love restarting the game over and over and over and over again etc... But It’s Worth The Download!(great game).

Much better with the update. Thank you, devs, for fixing the in-game text, I used to really struggle reading whatever was written. The app now loads much faster and the graphics quality overall has significantly improved. I didn’t realise I was missing these fixes until they came along.

Great game. It’s something for being on mobile I thought it would be a game where you buy all the gear with real money but no you can get good gear for free so I say it’s one of the best games on iOS

This should be 5 stars. This is a great game with simple and complex mechanics, I love the bit art work as well. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the overall drop rate of all item is a joke. Never sped money on gems either cause the drop rate with eggs and accessory’s are the worse. 👎🏼

Brilliant!. I expected this to be as dry and boring as other dungeon clearing mobile games, but I was very fortunately wrong! This game has found the perfect balance of dungeon clearing, online and somehow relaxing that I’ve seen. I’m already addicted! If only more games were like this...

Game broken. I can’t play this game unless I use VPN which slows down my internet to like 5kbps which takes me around 40 min to do a raid on auto. Please fix this it is getting very annoying. And when I use normal internet the game is stuck on checking version.

Great but.... This game is great what more is there to say? Except I would like a reset option to start fresh as I deleted but my data was still there when I got it back.

The Games ok. It would be better if you could explain things more, e.g. how to capture familiars, or where to go and explore and where not to worry about wasting your time exploring. The game is good but I feel like I have to spend money to get to certain stages, because finding good items are really rare. The game is good and I like it a lot.

Energy system.. what a shame. I downloaded the game and was blown away at how good it is. Turn based combat, certain enemies you can persuade to become your minions, rpg stat system. Very good gameplay and nice soundtrack. Then I realised.. it has an energy system. I would rather pay $20 outright for this game, or a monthly subscription than play a game with an energy system, get a few minutes then have to use gems to recharge. Time to find another game lol

Dear developers. I love this game I have played it for almost two years but I really wish I could restart my character or make a new one and start over and I know many other people who play this game share this opinion so if in the future if you could add a way to restart your progress or have more then one character that would be great. Love game. I love this game I play it a lot and I get pretty good loot but the loot drop rate is to low every day I wold do captain wood beard and use up all my raid shards and I still don’t get set iteams I’m lvl 102 and i see people with set iteams that are lower lvl then me I saw this guy was lvl 67 and he had everything set iteams and I don’t know how tho the game needs to up the drop rate but otherwise I like the game

Absolutely amazing. This game had me roped in from the get go. Graphics look extremely polished and the battle segments are amazing! I am really addicted to this game and I have only played for a few minute, this is how engaging this video game is. I am really digging the 8-bit and 16-bit style of the game, but I would love it if we could maybe have it offline use as well, so everyone could play it. Anywhere, Anytime. There is, however, one slight problem: There are too many sections/buttons, to able to click on. I would like it for it to be simple and easy to use, not just having to find out which button is which. Overall, I’m very pleased with this game and I hope to see more games that can be really fun from the start.

Good fun. Plays like an old school dungeon crawler. Dungeons so far have been quite basic and straightforward, hopefully will get more complex and challenging in the higher levels. Not bombarded by ads like a lot of other games, solid effort.

iPhone X support?. BH is an everyday play game, but with the last update it’s made it a little hard to use, the left hand menu no longer warps to fit my screen so I’m missing out on exchanging and raids.. plez halp?

Please read developers!. I love this game I had it since like 2 years ago it is so fun I play it daily. I wanted to give you guys some suggestions for this amazing game first when ever there is an event you should make it that the world boss familiars or raid familiars have cosmetics secondly if you want this game to be super fun please add more weapons and better quests because the quest missions are really simple and doesn’t give you a challenge thirdly I think this is a really bad idea but instead of upgrading your gear only 3 or 4 times it should go up higher. Fourth add like a daily shop wear you spend your coins because I feel like coins aren’t being used enough and lastly just a little touch you should add like secrecy’s into the game so people don’t just leave it on auto. Thank you for this wonderful game and yes I’m only a child, I did spend time on this I love you guys please making the game better also don’t stop the tiers I know it takes time but I’m sure you can do it.

I love this game but!. I love this game and all but there’s a thing making me wonder why is there teams on the big star dungeons but why can’t you put team into missions as well cuz I find things harder with out my friends in a team to help it’s just a bit harder

Perfect Mobile Game. This game feels like a perfect blend of games I used to play as a kid! Would totally recommend this game to anyone who grew up with 8 and 16 bit games. Game play has been really enjoyable. Only complaint is with watching the videos for “free” loot where most of them exit me to the App Store and then I have to go back into the game and rewatch a new one hoping not to get one of the ones that you can’t close in game after viewing.

Amazing game. I have been waiting for a concept like this and I love the game. I just started and realised amount of customisation is incredible. I have some suggestions though. Enchantments on specific weapons that may apply effects, more cosmetics (love it) and more slots (I like a lot of options). I hope this gets some more cool features in the future!

Asap review. So after playing for only a few days I decided to make a purchase and where it says the price is let’s say 10$ when I pay through apple it tells me it’s 15$ this means the game is falsely advertising the spend system

I’m impressed!. I saw this ad during another game I was playing, and for the first time I actually clicked it and downloaded it! I’m enjoying it so far, it’s kinda like Pokémon, ur Pokémon are called “familiars”😂👌, and u can get different gear etc. I’m not some twelvie btw, lets just say I’m over 15 years old, and I enjoy it!

There is a proper way to play this!. I’ve been playing this game for over a year. If you think you can bulldoze your way through the zones, you will get stuck. Have some pride and accumulate you familiars before moving to the next zone. My only complaint is that the algorithm for getting familiars is cheap. Some things take longer to get then they should. All in all, good job fellow developers! People often don’t know how much work goes into creating a game!

Hard to log in. I mean all I want to do is play but I have to close in and out about 12 times before it works. It’s a great game and all but fix your bugs.

The game is glitched for me. I loved to play I bought some thing and I did not get it back I thought if I got off then got back on would give it to me but I was wrong just please get back to me I just want the sword just the sword it was a really good sword

The ability to log in and out. Currently I am locked out of my main account because I am logged into my side account on my phone. They said they were fixing this issue 3 months ago, still not fixed. Still waiting

My favourite game that always crashes. Absolutely love this game, but in last few weeks the game crashes all the time or just never loads and stays on the black screen. Fix your advertising!. I have to watch ad videos 2 or sometimes 3 times because the exit video button doesn’t populate. On top of that I don’t get the reward AND I have to watch the video again.. great game but VERY frustrating issue.

Games alright. Game play is cool, but it feels like you’ll never escape old content. It’s also super annoying that if I close my phone by accident it’ll automatically kick me out of the raid I’m doing and always needing to reconnect, is there any way you guys could work on this. It really does make playing the game unenjoyable when you can’t even answer a text without getting disconnected.

Fix it please.. The balance of the game being playable but still making money (for company) is a total wreck. It is so P2W and if you don’t buy gems there is no way you can play. After five consecutive days, I have played and I’m still stuck on the same zone 2 quest. I know the company is trying to get money but you have to make it at least playable.

Game crashes 100% of the time. I got to the part where it says “tap to see items available for purchase” and now I’m basically softlocked because it crashes every single time I start the game

Major Account Flaw. -Was playing on my iPad and got to level 20 -Went to my desktop to link account to Kongregate. - Thought i’d try to play Bit Hereos on the desktop version. - Starts me over on a new account - Lets me use the same character name as my account on my iPad. (Hmm thats strange. There should already be an account with that character alias.) -So now my iPad account is erased? And replaced with this level 1 desktop account and there’s no way to switch it back so I lost all my iOS progress.

Will it crash ? Let’s wait and see .. So far my biggest complaint revolves around the advertisements and the 23.5 percent chance they will crash your game any time they are viewed . My honest opinion? Don’t bother with this one .

Won’t let me delete my save file. This is the most stupid game ever I can’t delete my profile ? Was this created by a retard?

Bad. Horrible customer support and 100% pay to win. Players who did not start within the first couple months of the launch will NEVER reach any amount of standing rank in PVP or trail/gauntlet without spending thousands of dollars. Save yourself some wasted time and don’t play.

Good game. Only having one issue with it and that’s that I have to re-download the game every time to play it

Ok Game, but it can easily get repetitive. The game itself is ok, and it wasn’t confusing or overwhelming but I feel like it’s easily looked over In my phone. For me, the game got repetitive and boring way too fast (1.5 weeks). It felt the same for every level, there’s nothing new that would make me go “wow!” Or “really!? That’s amazing!” . Download it for yourself, and try it. Maybe it’s just me. FYI, the devs just stopped updating the game, it feels kinda dead.

Love it. It’s very grindy, but that’s good. It gives me something to do. I love this game

Boring.... I wanted to love this game, but like another reviewer said you can’t pass the 3rd dungeon without grinding for levels and items. When you do pass it, you realize that you can’t pass anything anymore without grinding. At that point you’re using the auto play function to watch the game play the lower levels by itself. Or, you can join a guild and pass everything super quick by putting the highest guild members in your party. Either way the game is pointless.

A truly genuine experience. This is a game that takes me back. Subtle elements of Diablo/Warcraft with a huge wave of 8-but nostalgia, and tons of lovely cosmetics! As an RPG lover, I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a long term game! I've got about 3 weeks of in game play time and it feels like I've only seen the beginning! One thing I will say though is that to maintain a top 50 position in any of the competitive modes, it does require micro transactions or an amazing character, so that does prove to be challenging :/ Overall the game offers ads as an optional feature It's fluid and polished Oh and having powerful friends helps a lot, if I have space I'll shot you an add ;) IGN: Valorea

Advertisement scam. So the offerwall in the game advertises 4066 gems for completion of a challenge. Through spending hard earned money I complete said challenge within the time frame. The company then half’s the amount I was suppose to receive and then deny my ticket after providing proof. Sounds like they won’t pay because someone succeeded. Don’t advertise a damn challenge and expect people to pay money only to get scammed

Great Game, but a tiny problem. This game is fantastic, the interaction with other people, the different dungeons and bosses, pvp. Just fantastic. This is a game which you have to try to exceed it! It’s great...but one problem. When you get a chest, from the shop, and you use your gems to open a...familiar chest or weapon chest, I keep getting the same thing. Repeatedly. I took months of farming gems and I used it on a chest and got multiples of the same thing! Really made me disappointed. But the game is fun, I recommend it for elementary to high school (MAX) it’s a good interactive game, kinda based off of legit pc games, which is nice.

It remembers. Ok so when I was on the 6th level and the guy was selling armor for 5000 coins I only had 4001 coins so after I completed the level I decided to collect some coins so I could buy it. But when I went to buy the item I could not access the level because I already completed it which meant I could not get the item. So I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but it remembered so I deleted my Game Center account then deleted the app and reinstalling the app again but it still remembered.

An Honest Review (will be edited later as I progress). I started a year ago but my brother decided to delete it so I couldn’t play for long then I downloaded it again today. The game is NOT pay to win. Most people complain about that but I have never seen anything in the game that you need actual money to get (gems you can earn or buy so it doesn’t really count). The energy system also stops people from becoming a literal god in the first hour as well, I’ve seen a lot of people complain about this but it’s there for a reason. Kongregate, is one of my favorite developer(s), I have never had an issue with their games. =) Also, familiars are quite rare and I would enjoy to decrease that chance and replay certain levels. This is my current review. =)

Good combat help. Cool on the 3 star levels you can use friends to help you. But in world 3 and end of world 2, the levels are pretty hard. You should add a unreforge for equipment, where you get 30-60% of the costs to upgrade back. 30-60 is where you place your own amount if you decide to add it. It could also be a special buff like more experience but to make it give more.

Annoyingly difficult to play. Not sure what to say really, this game is really only good when you first start out. Once you’re in the next level, it’s pretty much just a grind till you die. Everything is absurd in terms of percentage. Can’t get nothing even with 500% item find, not to mention the amount of coins you gotta spend to get one familiar. I like the game to some degree, but theres not much gameplay other than grinding. Just give the game a little more.. pow to it. It’s the least you can do, Thanks for listening to my rant.

Okay at first I admit I was jumping out of my seat for this retro - classic - rpg, no doubt about it then I was kind of weirded out by my name so I wanted to change it but there was no ‘change name’ button so I tried contacting them and they said they couldn’t so I was kinda bummed but, they said they could delete my account (so I could change my name) and I was so hyped since I didn’t have a lot of stuff on that account! So, thank you Kongregate for the help and I hope you continue making this game a little bit better each and every time.

Awesome game. Hello I just wanna say I’ve been playing this game for two days and I personally think it’s a really good game of me doesn’t want to I don’t like that people are complaining about energy or or about having to pay to win but pain is just speeding up the game and the main Reason people rage is because I’m guessing they’re trying hard mode dungeons earlier than they’re meant to this game is made me so happy I’m sick and I’ve been having a few bad weeks at school but this just made my day........This game is amazing

Companions. I love the game, it’s fun, has a great side track, and is very nostalgic. It really brings back the days of old rpg’s. However, I’ve only gotten about 3 companion monsters for my party, and I really don’t want to progress too further into the game without getting more. Now, I like that there is a feature where you can pay coins and not just the diamonds to persuade the monsters you fight. I just wish that they were more likely to persuade them, or that you could watch an ad to persuade them, because it’s been nearly impossible to gain them with the use of coins.

Super fun, but a few problems. Don’t get me wrong I love this game. But theirs a few issues that are a little weird. First of all whenever I move my iPad this thing pops up and says something like “cannot collet” I forget the rest but it can be a little annoying sometimes but other than that it dose nothing to my data or game. Another thing that happen sometimes is when I go it to the game the sound will sometimes not be on. Oh just a little notice the game can get kinda hard so be prepared. Other than that I really enjoy playing this game.

Great game, but Familiars are a bit to hard. Right now, bit heroes is my favorite game on my iPad. Or has A.L. the fell that a classic bit game has, and has lots of great art and references. However, there’s one thing I’m sore on. Familiars are a central part of the game, and are needed to get past dungeons. However, familiars right now are too hard to catch, especially the epic and legendary familiars. I have an idea. What about you can persuade the familiars from a certain zone using the legendary material you get from the zone? This would allow people to progress in the game without using gems for the elusive fusion they just can’t get.

Great game, paid interference. This is a great game overall and I think that a lot of people would like it, but the only problem is, is that after a certain while the levels get hard and too hard. You have to pay in order to get pass, like you can buy stuff with in app purchases and you have to pay a lot. I payed around 10 dollars for a set just to get past a level and I still couldn’t pass it. I really do think it’s fun it’s just they have to stop making everything so extremely hard.

Okay so I love this game.. I’ve been looking for something engaging for a long time. And this is it for me. I love 8bit graphics. The little monsters. Building a team. And honestly, you had me at character costume action. The only thiiiing I wish could be changed, is how zoomed in the main world is. Honestly. I wish I could pinch with my fingers and zoom it out. Especially since I have the iPhone max everything is too in my face and I can’t really appreciate the graphics. Anyhow. Thanks for making a great game and I hope someone sees this :)

GREAT GAME!!!!!! 🤩. This game is so fun! I have spent 4 hours in one sitting playing this it’s so fun! I have shared this game to my cousin and he also got addicted to it. But there is a problem. This game has quite a lot of bugs. The one that bothers me the most is the darkness when you are walking through the Dungeons. This bug usually occurs when you are in a 2x2 room or entering one. The shading and darkness looks so off and out of place. I would HIGHLY recommend for the characters to have a big light area Circle around them, and for the sides of the circle to shade into dark. Over all this game is amazing!!

Help. Now.. I used to play this game. Then things came up and I had to delete the game. That happened in April 2019. Today, I decided that, despite some personal memories that told me to avoid it, I got the game. I had some fond memories as well, and I had a well developed character. I knew how to log in, and I was really looking forward to playing it again. What’s the first thing that happens? The game says I cannot log in. That was even before it let me choose if I wanted to make a new account. I refreshed the game over and over. Each time, I go back on to see if it was just a bug that will only happen once. Long story short, the game isn’t letting me get in. I can’t enjoy its design, fight bosses, grind for loot, level up. I can’t play the game that I enjoyed so much, despite having some personal issues. I need help. I admit freely that I spent a lot on this app, but if you guys want a veteran player who will pay well, you will have to fix this problem.

I LOVE THIS GAME SOOOOO MUCH. Not only is the community in this game great ,but the gameplay is extremely fun. I only downloaded this game a few days ago and am already addicted. There is however a few things that would make gameplay better. 1)wait times are extremely long, and with how long it takes I only end up playing this game for at most once a day. 2) this may only affect a few players (not me). It is extremely tedious to level up at some places. Other then that I love this game!

Great game!. I barely played and i love this game so much. The auto play is great because when i have to do small chores or other things i can auto play and still advance the game. But usually auto farming games get boring because i don’t have to do anything, so usually i would just press auto play and im done. Although, this game makes it hard to auto play because it has such good gameplay! Keep up the good work

iPhone XS Max. I just got the iPhone XS Max today (upgraded form the iPhone X) and the game crashes upon initial loading when it reaches 97-99%. I have iOS 12.0.1 (same as in my iPhone X). I’ve seen other post about people having this problem. Please fix it! Otherwise this is one of my favorite games! For now I’ll give it a 2 star but it should be a 5. Please try and fix this problem! I have to use a browser on my phone to play this game and it’s laggy.. (The update recently just fixed this issue and I can play no problem!) thanks!

Disappointed. I actually liked this game starting out, and then no matter what I do as soon as I leave the game untouched for not even 24 hours, I can no longer play. It continually crashes so id give zero stars if I could. I literally lost my first account because I Uninstalled and reinstalled and that fixed it but it literally deleted ALL the stuff I had done and I couldn’t recover my account. Not it’s happening. Again, and there’s literally no way to report it because every time I try it’s just some loop to the community website that literally has no information on my problem when I try to restart. FIX YOUR GAME

Great game, but new iOS bug?. This game is amazing, I love playing it. I just recently got back into it after recovering my account thanks to the Bit Heroes team (keep track of your hero tag!). Recently with the new iPhone updates, when I tap on the app, it opens to a gray screen then crashes. I just updated my phone to iOS 15.4 and still no fix. I’m still playing on my pc, but I hope this can get fixed soon.

A good 2D 8bit Style Classic Fighting game!!!. I love 8bit fighting games, and they are such a grind! They make you do the hard work to get better item so you can become even better! Let’s take a look at an example in this game. You raid dungeons and find loot, kill monsters, and get better loot. This game rewards you enough at the start already. It makes you OP at the start but probably once you go in depth into the game, it will become harder to fight enemies. (P.S. I just started this game! 10/10)

Great game overall, but I have a small gripe. I want to start off by saying I love the game as whole. I keep coming back to it and have played since right after release. The game is great the social elements are nice, the pvp and other competitions are fun and well put together. My only small gripe with the game is not being able to play music while playing, and extremely minor issue yet it’s just a small inconvenience to someone like me who listens to music when doing pretty much anything on my phone.

Would be fun, but.... It falls prey to the same old stuff that most mobile games do. I’d rate it 5 stars if it wasn’t for that tired pay-to-continue-playing bs. Here are my issues with this game: 1. The energy system is bs. Same old crap to get you to buy, buy, buy. Sad that people pay into it, because these people keep doing it for a reason. 2. The capture rate is RIDICULOUSLY low if you’re not a paying customer. Seriously, you WILL waste all of your money failing to capture even common creatures. I even have a +50% capture rate thing going on, and it’s still usually at 20% success rate. Even at the highest I’ve seen (40%) it STILL FAILS EVERY TIME! And it costs gold to even attempt to capture, a ridiculous amount I might add. Drains your gold. And even if you want to try to capture multiples of the same, YOU CANT REPLAY LEVELS EXCEPT BOSS LEVELS WHOCH COSTS A BUNCH OF ENERGY. Drains your energy. Another BS tactic to get you to pay. Download this game, have fun with it until your energy runs out, and uninstall this garbage.

Pay to win grindfest !. So the point of this game is to get stronger, Going from dungeon to dungeon getting better gear and pets. BUT if you can’t afford to spend any money, Avoid this game ! All the good stuff is behind a pay wall, It takes hours to farm gear because unless you spend money, Everything is trash. Pets are even worse. There’s a 100% chance to recruit them if you spend real money, However if you can’t afford it, You’re chances are close to none. Save yourself the trouble and go find another game.

P2W. I know the devs won’t see this probably, but first if you don’t know what P2W means, it stands for pay to win. Ok so I’m not saying this game is bad or anything but it’s extremely pay to win. And I’m not saying you shouldn’t play it, because I really enjoy it even though I haven’t spent any money on it. I get that this game is meant to be somewhat hard an all, but it gets kinda frustrating when your stuck at the same level for over a month. I just wish there were easier ways to get boosts especially for the F2P (free to play). It’s not my game tho so I guess..... yea

Good at first but not for long term casual players. The game employs many infamous bait and switch tactics offering very open opportunities for new players that get restricted at certain progress points (specifically free gem site offers) not mentioned in the description; or anywhere else; and often replacement offers are political or adult alternatives that are at best poorly maintained and from a player perspective never moderated. However, for players willing to completely ignore the gem system and willing to watch a few adds for a few every now and again, it is a good game. Very solid mechanics and addictive play experience.

Crashing Problems. Great game but can you guys please do a patch where the game will load after the first time you download it because every time after the first launch it never loads up again… very annoying! Especially seeing that I have spent a little cash in this game just for me not to be able to access the game? I don’t want to have to delete the game forever.

Fun Game, But.... It’s definitely pay to play, you can some what avoid that but it’s hard to excel if you don’t. Especially because, which my major complaint is when you spend gems it’s almost always a common item or a duplicate of an item you already have. Also these Idle Heroes ads are SUPER annoying and most of the time you have to watch them more than once to get the Free stuff. That doesn’t generally happen with any of the other ads.

Great little game. I originally got the game to play with a friend of mine, we never could figure out dueling but that’s not what the game is about. The CORE game is amazing. It works so fluidly and the attacks are easy to understand. If you want to pour all skill points into health or speed or attacks you can. If you want to use a bow, go ahead, an axe? Sure! A big ‘ol spear? Of course! There are so many different types of weapons to use, all with different fighting styles to match different skill set ups. Great game, and it’s free. And from Kongregate, doesn’t get better than that.

A huge leap of my expectations!. I was going in with the expectations of a game I could probably beat in a week or two easily. This game has so much strategy, skills and unique play styles that you can almost never get bored of playing it! There are a few flaws that come with any mobile game, such as limited controls and online gameplay, but it deserves the highest rating a mobile rpg can get!

I think that this game is awesome but you should add one thing. I really like this game and it’s awesome but it’s too hard to find good loot I’m level 21 and all I find are commons and it’s too hard to fight bosses so what I think you should do is put in trading and codes I mean with that you could get good loot and have way more fun with friends because you could ask a friend for something and they could give it to you.I hope you read this for maybe if you read this you will take my suggestions and make the game more fun.😇

Game failed to link to Facebook account. This is a pretty fun game as well as challenging which makes it more interesting. I played for a bit and then tried to link my game to my Facebook account. It said I linked it, but when I went to my other device and signed in with my Facebook. It saved the beginning of the new game to my Facebook. I went on my first device and my game is still there, but now I have two devices linked to the same(?) Facebook account. This makes absolutely no sense. I would have given this game a higher rating if not for this faulty Facebook linking not working properly.

Awesome game! I want you to add an update though…. This game is great overall. All the wrong, armor, pets, all the stuff are really great! It’s gone a really great overview so far! I want you to add a small update though… if you can, please add a trading system to the game, because one of my other friends really want a trading system added to the game. Please fix this issue….. I recently started playing this game again. Played it frequently as a kid and wanted to recapture some of those memories. I had played about a year ago and make it to around lvl 60ish and came back only to find my character was gone, no big deal. I’ll need to relearn how to play anyhow. So I started a new Kongregate account and a new character. Didn’t get too far, but when I came back to the game a few days later my character was gone again….. and now it won’t give me the option to log into my Kongregate account…. Please resolve this issue or I will have no choice but to stop playing this beloved game of mine. There’s no point in playing if I literally can’t keep any progress whatsoever

Great game!. I would rate 4 1/2 stars. I love the game overall. It gives me final fantasy vibes. I like the wide variety of weapons and armor. I have a couple suggestions. You should be able to battle with others, not just control them. I like to play games with my friends m, but I can’t play this together. I also would like the ability to trade gear, gold, etc. I don’t get things that are stronger anymore, and I’m only on the 1st camp of the 2nd map! Another thing I would like is more than one potion! I always die and can’t revive myself. Please add these things. If you can’t, please respond saying why.

This has been the best multiplayer experience. All of the bad reviews on here are mostly user error. This game has minor flaws sure but it is still hands down the best dungeon crawler I have played on mobile. I have clocked in over 1500 hours in game and things still get exciting enough for me to come back each day. There are constant updates of new content and character progression is wonderful. At times it can get frustrating but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun.

Complaint. So I see a lot of reviews on here complaining about how you have to grind in order to get good gear and familiars and how dungeons are repetitive that’s not my complain I’m just starting off by saying something to those who are making such complaints if you don’t like to grind and repetitive dungeons in a game then don’t download a game in the dungeon crawler category of games especially one clearly based off of older dungeon crawler design my complaint is how it takes multiple tries to actually get logged into the game besides that everything else is fine but that is an issue and it needs to be seen to and fixed

Good game, but the energy feature is lame. I enjoy the game, the pixel art, the dungeons, and the MMO-like features. BUT I can only enjoy it for a short amount of time each day because dungeons/quests are limited by the cruddy energy costs. I’d understand if energy were tied to special events or something where you want players to only enter so often, but to keep the main gameplay throttled by a slowly-refilling energy bar is bad design. It isn’t fun, and exists only to punish those who want to play more than 5 minutes a day.

A Piece of My Mind. Hi there. Welcome to bit heroes. It’s an old-school turn-based RPG. The goal is to gather familiars to fight for you, and gain gear. For those who think it’s all about the luck and money, it isn’t. It requires time and dedication. However, this is a large part of the gameplay as well. I don’t suggest playing this unless you have a lot of time on your hands, and are able to make friends easily, with a welcoming personality. With that being said, good day.

Amazing. ive been a member since September 29 of 2019 i had my character all the way to 101 and wanted to go back to him after some time of not playing thr game (i swapped apple ids and re downloaded it) it gave me the option to pic the lvl101 or new character and didn't allow me to use my old one, it doesn't matter all it does is fuel the fire that is wanting to grind much further than i once was i love the game tho its amazing

One character one name feature is dumb.. I didn’t want to give this one star because I haven’t actually played this game. The problem is is that why can’t you make it where multiple players can name their character the same name. Not having to be able to have the same name as another players character makes me not want to play this game because it takes to much time to think of a name. You could end up playing the game for an hour, instead you’re trying to think of a name that someone doesn’t have.

Great gameplay, expensive economy. I enjoy the dynamic and environment of this game. However, I find the progression to be very slow unless you are willing to open your wallet, which I typically don’t mind doing if the pricing is reasonable. For this game, it is very expensive. Everything is slow going and is targeted at getting you to spend gems. What’s doubly frustrating is you they have optional ads, however, the benefit you get from each add is minimal. You might only get 4 gems (equal to 4 cents worth of gems in the market) for watching a 30 second ad. To get enough gems to really buy anything, you would have to watch 20+ ads. No thank you. Fun game, expensive economy.

Don’t buy anything. I purchased one of their booster packs when I first started off the game, it was only $6 so I thought why not? I didn’t receive any of the items, I emailed their support and they kept sending me the same automated message and didn’t even bother to help. They then told me the pack I bought didn’t exist and that I should contact Apple support, (I already had and they told me to email their support) and their support was no help as I stated. The game is boring too after the first few dungeons and there isn’t much going on to keep the players attention. The chances of getting pets are horrible too, the developers don’t care about the players just their money, which wouldn’t be a problem if they actually tried with the game.

Wow. I download this because i love retro without even reading details because rating is above 4.5 stars, but omg i did not realize it was online which makes it 1,000,000% better than i would ever imagine! You do not know how important it is for me for a game to be online, but online with retro style? Wow! Amazing game so far and i am really into the game so much i couldnt put it down.. thinking about spending some $$ too! Worth it! Really 5 star game graphic, style, play, and details!

Nice but has shortcomings. I have been really want a game like this in appstore for a while and it’s really good but must more developed, for example i don’t like that “touch for move” thing it’s can be hard to move in dungeons and towns (specially specailly when its crowded), a joypad in bottom left screen would be more useful. And charachter customization needs to be more detailed. I can understand that energy bar and ads, u need to make money yeah but i hope u won’t make the game more p2w. And I’m a new beginner in the game but i wish u could more detailed gameplay too, there’s no difference between my play and autoplay. But nice game anyways.

Slight issue..... Don’t get me wrong this game is the work of god it’s that good.. but I’ve spent countless hours farming the yeti’s tundra dungeon for robot sprockets and the yeti boss families so I could create Yobo and the yeti has wanted to join my party 17 times! And not once has he joined my party and the robot sprockets are like gold in that place I found 1 just 1 in the what 500 times I’ve done that dungeon and I STILL haven’t even left LAKEHAVEN yet and reason for that is because the small dungeon were you fight rills I get absolutely destroyed on and that’s why I need yobo. If you people read this I thank you for your time.

I like the game.. The resource grind is way tooo high and there is a issue with opening the app. It won’t open up at all. There needs to be a drop in stuff gathered and a fix to open the app just a black screen. 100 legendary materials or higher is way too much. They fixed the connect issue in a day after IOS update. And mats are more plentiful. I like this game because I’m old and it’s like I have my own knight.

Not bad at all. But now it doesn’t work on LTE?. I played this game for about two months straight before deleting it. Recently I was craving this game because it is very unique and there are none like it on the App Store. But after I downloaded it for the second time I couldn’t play the game unless I was connected to WiFi. I would love to play the game while I am at lunch at work but it won’t run on my LTE. I use T-Mobile towers if that helps at all. I love this game and I wish this could be fixed soon so I can continue playing when not home.

Devs hear me out…. So I know you would hate to add this but I think you should add a voice chat I mean just one click and it is like a phone call so you don’t have a word limit cuz my friend REALLY wants a voice chat and so do I also you should add custom weapons and armor for events like Halloween or Christmas oh and pets and when you get them you can keep them when the events end just hear me out.

Game is great but one problem i cant play it. Ive had this game in the past and absolutely love it so i recently redownloaded it to play again and for some reason it keeps crashing on me and ive deleted it twice and redownloaded again but still having issue also was unable to retrieve my old account with no luck please fix this so i may enjoy it again

Pretty Great Game. This game was great and actually kept me entertained for a few months (which is unusual for me since I don’t really play mobile games that much). I would have stuck with this game if it were not for the skill gap. It was fun to see progress at first and get a lot better but as you get better, you are doing the same raids over and over for the same rewards and little rewards. You don’t really see much growth and it just gets repetitive. But for the while I had with this game it was great and I would recommend it.
