WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Some games allow you different ways to earn necessary diamonds to you can grow without spending hundreds of real dollars. NOT this one! Even the special events featured require purchasing of diamonds to progress. They tell you you do not need to purchase diamonds to play the game. That bit is true if you don’t mind having a main hall with a relatively few building being stuck in Stage One for eternity! Graphics are a step up from From Donkey Kong in 1981 which isn’t saying much. And I’m sure they’ll bury this review in the positive ones they themselves put in to keep their numbers up!

Getting through the upper levels of the game is unlikely. I have had a great time playing this game for a long while and building my city. However, now that I am only a couple of levels from the current end, I have given up trying to advance any further. The major problem stems from both significant game limits on resources you can make in sufficient the amounts (a restriction Elvenar puts in place), the fact that you lose 10% of these resources every day (again a Elvenar rule) and the fact that very few other players actually willing to trade resources that you and others need at a fair price (if you can even find them in the trade window!). At the rate I could accumulate the needed resources it was going to be essentially impossible to proceed further in my level. It’s a shame that one can not progress without an absolute dependence on the good will of other players. Thus, all I can do now is just maintain what I have built and try to help fellowship members. I expect to be playing a lot less.

I did love the game. I have been playing for over two years and it has changed! The game used to give you enough time to complete quests...in the last thirty days, they have started two quests with only seven days to complete them. Plus, if you do not log in, you have no clue a quests has started. In order to complete the quest, you will need to spend diamonds, which means you have to purchase diamond packs!! When I complained about this, I was told to check out forums to see how to get thru quests. I’m not an idiot, I can see what needs to get done....but this last quest will take a min of 21 day ps in order to complete...possibly a month because I am on my tenth request, which is requesting a two day manufacturing, with only three days left !!! Do the math folks, it is not going to happen! While it is a great game, their quests are impossible to achieve within time constraints.

Getting stale. Been playing this game for over a year now and I’ve already seen the extent of all the game has to offer. I think that the events have stagnated, the rewards are too little for putting in a lot and there’s nothing new. I have played every type of event at least twice. I am bored by those. I’d stop playing if it weren’t for the fact that I’ve invested some of my own coin into diamonds and play in several cities with other people. At least the main components of the game play don’t occupy so much of my time, so I have loads of time for RL. I just would like to see more creativity being put into the events.

Interesting. I have played this game for over 2 years and have found a most excellent build game. But lately I have found an builders game to be a problem. Once you reach 500 spaces or land to build, you have to buy the others spaces with diamonds only an the game builder has not change it at all! A good game with some very wrong options in it to just try to make money at the end. I have put a change request in but have not seen any change, sad too! I have 33 spaces left to get but me and other have talked about just leaving, very sad to see this game get so greedy too!

Great game, love getting to know other players. The basic foundation of this game is fantastic and the graphics are outstanding. There is a real sense of community among the players. As with real life there are always personality conflicts but easily controlled in-game by building a close-knit fellowship of other like-minded players. Loads of fun. The only negatives I have is that the developers sometimes seem very out of touch with the players and often develop non-important parts of the game while ignoring or drag their feet on the most needed updates. Certain key parts of the mobile application have never been developed at all, which leaves mobile players disconnected from important aspects of the game. I wish the developers we’re more in touch with the needs of the players but other than that the game is fantastic and I have been playing for three years.

Scam artist. Game developers are scam artists. They will charge your account for diamond purchases then not give them to you. I was charged for a purchase I did not make nor did I even get the diamonds. So I asked for a refund which made them angry. Since then I got my money back from the App Store but they took 2000 diamonds away claiming since I didn’t pay for them I wasn’t getting them. Get that? They took 2000 diamonds from me they never gave in the first place and it put me negative over 1000 diamonds. I tried to explain the math to them that I couldn’t have been negative diamonds before a purchase they claim I made so how could I be negative now. But that only made them more angry. So after all that they took away all the diamonds I had earned from spire and other things which now has me over -3000 diamonds. Read other reviews as I am not the only one they have done this to.

Wasted Money and Time. Veteran player to a newcomer: don’t waste your time or money. 5 years and $5k invested turned into a very bad decision and experience. Developers stay hidden and never acknowledge suggestions. The differences between the web version and mobile version are staggering. Quest lines in events are extremely difficult for veteran players and just a joke with pathetic minuscule rewards. If you have Parkinson’s as I do, this game does not have any good ways of accommodating players with disabilities. Support says otherwise but never offers tips on better ideas or functions. I’ve suggested several ideas in the 5 years I played and researched several other players suggesting the same ideas 5 years ago and nothing was done. Inno is now lamo in both terms.

Taking a Stand. Elvenar like other online video games was created for one reason only. To generate revenue for InnoGames. These games prey on the weak (people with addictive personalities) and I am one of those. But today 2 days before Christmas I take a stand for what is right for me and these games are totally wrong. They have consumed my life for decades and have ruined my finances but I stand here today strong making the right choice for me which is to walk away cold turkey and begin putting my life back together. It won’t be easy but it also won’t be impossible. To others who are in this same boat I say take a stand and say no to these games and take back your life. Father Time is ticking do you want to go down brain dead from gaming or would you rather spend the time you have left doing things that really matter. The choice is yours.

When can we expect Mobile Updates?. I took me a few weeks to discover that there was a web version that had a lot more actions available. So I’m wondering when we can expect to see the following in the mobile app so that we don’t have to keep switching between the mobile version and the online version: 1. Explore other cities. 2. Participate in world tournaments. 3. Private messaging. 4. Create & use Enchantments from the Magic Academy. 5. Find treasure in other cities. 6. See detailed unit information in Barracks. 7. See recommended battle units in Army Setup. 8. Access Ancient Wonders 9. Access Special Promotions. New: Complete Base Edit - I know that you can’t rotate buildings because that’s part of the challenge but often times you don’t learn major things about setting up your city until your too deep in. Or maybe you just want to switch up the look of your base. I think being able to change the base layout should be an option. (To be clear, being able to pick everything up at once and then create a new layout) I know I’m forgetting things but I believe that the faster these things becomes available the more fun it will be. Thank you for your time.

Superior Game in all respects. I’ve been playing this game for about a year. I’m hooked and log in daily. Maybe my favorite part is it’s not a rush to get to the finish. I play on iPad and computer. I love having both options available. Graphics are nice, staff puts on engaging sometimes hilarious videos for information on events. I’ve got good customer service to two times I needed it. The Wiki book has everything I’ve ever needed to know and found a great fellowship. I opened up 5 different cities. Three I’ve promised myself not to spend diamonds and while they go slower I am enjoying developing them. Kudos to the art department. I don’t find it a challenge but fun to move things around as the buildings get bigger.

This is a great game. Firstly, the negatives that only involve the app. You dont get ancient wonders, you cant truly explore other cities, and some things in the app just dont work like they do on web based game(i dont have comp based game but my fellowship mates tell me). That being said, these updates are coming. And i can patiently wait. Other than this, this game is fantastic. It has real substance and can be played for quite some time, im only on chapter 3(out of 12, with more coming), and it requires real strategy, whether that be in base layout(buildings dont rotate so you have to pay attention to where you put everything, and must move things and buildings increase in size via upgrades), resource management and trading, army structure, and what to research when(my advice is to find a good fellowship, and be active. You get an option to visit your neighbors and fellowship members daily, DO THIS. Its incredibly beneficial to both you and them). This game was exactly what i was looking for, and i look forward to future updates that make the app closer and closer to the web based experience.

Not sure yet. I just started playing this a few days ago and I’m not sure I’m going to keep it. I’ve played several of these types of games before and this one is by far the slowest progressing. That’s not what really bothers me though, it’s the fact that I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing and there’s really no explanation in the game. It’s frustrating not knowing what all the items are for or what exactly I’m supposed to be doing. Things are not labeled at all and as far as I can tell, item costs are also a mystery in most cases. Reading through the other reviews, it looks like you’re supposed to find all this stuff out on your own using the forums or their wiki, which I feel is just lazy on their part. It can’t be that difficult to label stuff and say exactly what it does, where you can get it and how to use it! I also don’t understand the point of having to progress on the map and fight or negotiate, I could do without that part altogether. I just want to build an elf city!

Love it but.... Love the game tons! It is exactly the game I have been looking for. I love to go explore new lands, make new friends/neighbors and that’s it. I don’t like battling against other people for domination. My only complaint of this game is I wish there was an easier way to gain diamonds without having to pay real cash for them like watching video ads or something but this to me is a very minor drawback. Other than that little snag in my opinion this game overall amazing. Even though it is a little bit of a hassle to gain diamonds I would recommend this game to anyone who loves to explore new lands and make friends without raging war against each other 😁

Love this game. I heard that the farther you are the more time it takes. While it is true it actually gives me a look at how far I’ve come. It takes me multiple days to continue in the research and I proud of it. The slow down really seems like they are trying to get you to improve instead of just making you spend money (I’m on chapter 9 and haven’t paid a single penny). It’s addicting and I love playing it. And there’s a new chapter coming (Chapter 21) and it seems like it will be amazing. Another wonderful game from a wonderful game developing company.

You’re stealing my money. This game has taken hundreds of dollars of unauthorized purchases of my account, I have called Apple to get a refund and dispute yesterday and haven’t touched the game since, AND THEN IT TOOK ANOTHER 50 dollars today !! If anyone knows how to contact the developers that would be great because I’m one step away from making this a legal issue, I have received manyyyy double charges, there are deals on gems that sometimes come with things like postal keys or royal restorations if you buy the gems NO WHERE DOES IT SAY THEY COST EXTRA and I’ve been charged for these free items along with the gems multiple times, I have one charge on my bank statement for 50 bucks for Royal restorations and I have NEVER EVER bought royal restorations, there isnt even an option to buy those directly with cash and not gems not to mention the only royal restorations I ever received/seen in the game was a free reward I got from the quest and I have never seen any after so how could I have bought them? I have all my receipts and statements from the game/Apple/and the bank and it simply doesn’t add up, I have spent of my own volition around 200 bucks and 700 + has been taken from my account, I expect some real help from technical support not a comment saying “we’re sorry we’re thieves”. I do not mind hiring a German lawyer and suing inno for everything I can

Web Based Interface is better. For those of us with access to computers and able to play via the web based game we can really see the flaws in the app. Basic things like a working usable Magic Academy, in game “mail”, and tournaments are not available in the app. Requiring players to unlock and build a Magic Academy they can not use is just stupid. Those of us who have spells can’t use them or even see them and our Ancient Wonders are also useless and non-upgradable in the App. With the coming release of Fellowship adventures half of our new members (App only players) will not be able to contribute. Even if the event is available on the app if Spells are required they won’t be able to contribute there. Sadly lacking and tired of having new players asking why they aren’t able to use items or participate in tournaments and other events.

Not as much fun. The changes to the game are proving detrimental to established players. You encouraged us to build Ancient Wonders. We did and enjoyed what they brought to the game. Since the changes over the past year were made, having Ancient Wonders only makes the game harder. My main city is in chapter 13. I rarely see pet food more often than every couple of weeks. The same for the fight boost buildings. This city is in a 10- chest tourney group that also gets gold in the spire. I am only able to do half what I was before the changes were made. I also have a baby city on a different 10-chest tourney group. That FS doesn’t bother with the spire. It’s a waste of resources. None of us are going beyond chapter three. What’s the point? Going further in the research tree only makes it harder to do anything. Having AWs only makes it harder. The game is becoming less fun and more work. Games should be fun and relaxing, not stressful. However, if that was your goal with the changes, then perhaps designing games isn’t really your thing.

Good game overall. I've been playing this game on mobile for several years. It definitely takes some patience if you want to play for free, but it is easily doable. There are the normal constraints of having too many buildings and not enough space to place them all, so you really have to compare the buildings to decide which is worth it. Some of the recent updates have been worrying but there have also been some excellent changes. Mobile now has most or all of the desktop features, and there is a fantastic search feature to find buildings in inventory, better than what I hoped would eventually be implemented. For the concerning changes, it's mainly about the ancient wonders. There have been updates to the bonuses given by the buildings that makes the rewards scale more consistently to match your town size, which is awesome. However, the resources required for upgrading is now much harder. It used to be relics which you could easily get by fighting an encounter or 2, but now it uses combining catalyst which overall is fine. But every 5 levels it uses royal restoration spells which is the 2nd rarest resource in the game. I have a small stash of it after being in one of the top 100 fellowships, but most players won't have access to it without paying. Still waiting on the new updates to bring more practical ways of getting this resource. Other than that, I love this game, I generally try to check in at least 1x a day although I used to do 2-3x a day.

Stress reliever. This game can be challenging but at the same time if the real world is causing stress in your life Elvenar can be a breathe of fresh air. It takes you out of the real stressed out world around you and puts you in control of a new different environment. The only draw backs I’ve seen after playing for 7 years is people who are in a hurry to advance will find this game too boring. I like being able to play at my own speed. I’m a lonely disabled person and enjoy the companionship of others. INNO has made it a better of two worlds, join a fellowship that all 25 players are working at the relaxed play form or join a higher ranking and be willing to pull a lot of time and go for the gusto. Either way you will leave the stress of the real world behind because Elvenar is fun and you will still want to learn the secrets of Elvenar to help your city grow. It’s also relaxing to find other players as lost as you were in the beginning. I just hope Elvenar remembers what made this game world great and keeps the work within a fellowship. Come join us in Stilmyst/Winyandor and let us help you to build a city you can be proud of. Ask any questions and get help with material goods to build and grow your city with a fun caring team.

Hate the new changes.. I’ve been playing this game for a few years. For the most part it’s been okay through that time. Unfortunately recent changes have sucked every last bit of fun that was left in the game right out. First of all they added ads to the game. If there was an ad-free version I would pay for that, but no. Even if you have spent money on the game, you still get ads. Next, the changes to the Ancient Wonders make them borderline impossible to level up anymore. (Unless you’re ready to spend real world money on leveling, then you can do that). App crashes now also. Bottom line: it’s just not enjoyable anymore and they don’t care about player feedback. So many of my fellowship members have left the game due to the changes.

Continual crashes on older iPads. This game is not playable on any iPad two years or older. The game continually crashes and on higher levels the crashes are constant. The simple fact is that the game REQUIRES newer processors. Tech support refuses to acknowledge that this is the case. I have two different older iPads and this is the case on both of them. Conversations with other players with older Apple products have indicated that this is an ongoing issue. I cannot do quests anymore because when entering the World Map to fulfill quest requirements, the game immediately crashes without fail. I have updated the game and my OS and this has not solved the problem. Bottom line...take a pass and play something more stable. All of my other games work fine. Edit: l want to re-emphisize that tech support WILL NOT acknowledge that this game will not work on older Apple products. The solution offered does not work. I have restarted my iPad and the game still constantly crashes. I have +5 GB free space too. However, the saving grace is that l can access my game through a computer. As it stands, my rating stays the same as it relates to Apple mobile devices.

It’s alright. This game is fine, I got excited when I saw it because the thought of getting to build an elvish city was very exciting as I am obsessed with anything that has to do with fairies or elves. My thing is, it progresses SO slowly unless you buy gems, and you need a lot of them to finish off production if you’re producing anything other than beverages or bread. It’s become a game where I began checking in twice a day, then it turned into once a day and now I’m down to once every other day. This is how slow it is. You run out of space very quickly so you find yourself unable to build anything new, I unlocked my first piece of land and after that it takes SO long to unlock the research to get anymore, unless you have the insane amount of gems it takes, of course. Though, after I’d realized this was from the same developers as Forge of Empires, it made a lot of sense. A couple years back I’d bought that on steam and had the same issue and ended up getting refunded because it just was not fun at all. I was SO excited for this game and it turned out to just be okay. However, if you’re one of those elusive “whales” that don’t mind putting a good bit of real money into a mobile game then I can definitely see this being fun for you.

Frustrated...... Have played for a couple weeks and have built up my city. Decided to register my account, but discovered that I must have downloaded this app in the past sometime, so game won’t let me use my current email. Support asked my questions, but when I tried to submit, game crashed. I rebooted and discovered I couldn’t log in. When I finally was able to reset my password, I logged in only to discover the game had me start all over. Very frustrating.....just want others to know before you invest time.

Very slow leveling but pretty. I downloaded three civilization building games several months ago. Elvenar is my least favorite and here is why: the game requires a ton of patience or real $ to get anywhere. I did spend a lot of $ and still am unsatisfied. It’s not that consumers won’t spend, we just want to see results after spending. This game requires $ to build, to fight, to win chests (and often, the prizes are not worth it). I always feel like I never quite achieved something good when I log out. In comparison, “Forge of Empires” and “Puzzle and Empires” both reward me for time spent and money spent. I am proud of what I have built in those games...and the strength I have to do things inside those games is rewarding. Elvenar keeps me feeling like I can just never quite get there. After way too much money. I’m capping this game and moving on.

Crash. This game would be fun and engaging if a player could play this game faster. This game would also be more intriguing if a player would automatically gain more knowledge points as the player progresses further in the research tree, and if Province battles wouldn’t become increasingly more difficult to the point that players can’t win. The Magic casting from the magic academy take hours on end to create spells. The magic academy was almost not worth the diamonds. Also the Military training, and production of tools, and goods take a great deal of time to complete. Although, the graphics of this game is phenomenal the bigger the players city gets the more often the game crashes. Overall progression of this game is increasingly and incredibly slow and the continuous game crash adds for even more sloppy game play. Given the amount of money that all player are eventually required to pay to continue playing this game, I strongly encourage the creators of this game to fix the bugs and or glitches that constantly cause game crash, as well as free up knowledge points, increase the amounts of Goods production, tool crafted in the workshops, reduce the time of magic casting, military troop training.

Complicated, but Fun!. It’s a little hard to figure out how to “research” without spending a lot of real money to buy diamonds, but I think I’ve got it figured out. And the game won’t let me create a Login password, so I can’t ask questions in the Wiki, because you have to use your player name and password to join the Wiki. I’ve tried to look for how to create a password but can’t locate it anywhere and can’t join the Wiki to ask. Also, I keep getting notifications about a tournament (or whatever they call it) but when I click to join it, nothing happens. So I don’t know how to gain the benefits of that feature. Other than the confusing parts, game play is fun.

Superior in all ways!. I’ve been playing this game on my iPad for nearly a year. I was disappointed at first because I didn’t have all the features that pc users had...but the developers have been working hard and delivering on their promise to make more available to mobile players. This week, we’ve participated in an incredibly fun challenge that has brought everyone in our fellowship together to meet the goals of the challenge. If you want a game that never gets boring, has amazing graphics, wonderful prizes, etc, etc., elvenar is your game. Thank you developers! Also, a note about 💎...they cost real money, but you will never feel like you have to constantly “pay to play”...you’ll buy some happily, and use them with a smile!

Poor customer service. I made a purchase and because of a game glitch, was shorted on my purchase. Upon contacting support, I was informed that it needed to be looked at by the main office to find out what happened and to ensure that it wouldn’t happen to another player. Ok. I understand that. I can even see the very good business sense in that. IT’S BEEN 10 DAYS!!!! I STILL HAVEN’T BEEN COMPENSATED WHAT I’M OWED. In fact customer service has taken the route of ignoring my emails. So much for good business sense. Their reply.... Thank you for contacting the Elvenar support team. We will send your ticket to our Community Management team, which will review your case and get in touch with you shortly. We would appreciate your patience in the meantime. Have a great day! Kind regards, Fornadia In-Game Support And Thank you for contacting support and we do apologize for the delay. Unfortunately in this case we will need our main office to look and verify what may have occurred because we do show that they were received and added to the building but that it didn't complete. Unfortunately we do need to know why this happened to prevent it from occurring again in the future. Thank you for your patience and I do apologize again. Kind regards, Ælfwine Community Manager Update.... I finally received compensation for the glitch. A month later. While I was given everything owed, it was rather disappointing it took a month.

Elvenar. On the iPad there is very little animation. Instructions on how to play is trail and error, but once you get the hang of it, it's entertaining. Also downloaded on my computer, the difference is amazing! You can visit other kingdoms. At this point I prefer playing on my computer. I contacted the support team, they did get back to me via email, and said they are working on the mobile apps. The only other complaint I have is there are several worlds, it would be better if they could show which world you are playing in. I currently am in four worlds, and would like to delete the ones I am not playing in. Hope this helps anyone thinking of downloading this game. Make sure to write down your password!!

Elvenar... A great escape!. Sometimes you just have to turn off the news and go be an elf for awhile. Game reminds me of Civilization and similar games, and play goes along those lines, except, of course, the inevitable in-app purchase options. I've only been playing a short while, and I tend to play at night, so I just set all my manufactories to the higher settings just before I go to bed. I will say, I've played both the app and the Web versions, and the Web version has better animation...So far, I haven't hit a wall playing 😺 I will say that I like that you are not forced to fight as you explore your world; you can either negotiate or back out of the encounter ...

So Slooooowww. Wow...this is one of the slowest moving games I’ve ever played. The gold to tools ratio that you need to do anything is way off (tons of gold, minimal tools.) You only get one quest at a time and it may take days just to get what you need to complete it. Then when you do complete one, the rewards are minimal and rarely gratifying, a new quest pops up, then you just have to wait more. I really like the graphics, and see how this could be fun if they could maybe pick up the pace a little but I’m getting so bored with waiting for everything that I’ll probably end up deleting it pretty soon. I have no problem with paying real money for games occasionally, but it’s gotta be worth paying for. I doubt this one will ever get there for me.

Good but could be better!. I enjoy playing the game. The quests are manageable and require tactic, sure they take time but it’s cool because you don’t have quests that are leading you on to something you may not even care about. Building the civilization is fun and a good way to unwind. However, it takes forever to get through providences because your army does not level up as easy and as fast as you go through the open providences so it can take weeks for you to complete one Providence because you have to level up so much stuff in order to be able to level up your army and even then the army may still not be big enough. Also it is so difficult to set up your village when you have to keep adding stuff but have no efficient way to rearrange anything you already have set. I could make space for more of the buildings I need if I could completely rearrange my base but I can’t. It would be a good idea to have a reset button where you can rearrange your buildings so they fit better! Overall this is a fun game but needs just a couple tweaks to be even better!

Cool city builder. This is a port of a game you can also play for free on your computer’s browser. The browser gives you access to a few more features, but in my opinion that’s far outweighed by the convenience of having it on your phone, since that’s always with you and accessible any time, which makes it much easier to produce Supplies regularly Pros: 1) Choice between Humans and Elves (mainly just a different look) 2) Can immediately join a clan and talk to other players, who can help get you started 3) Organize your city however you want, as long as roads connect necessary buildings to your Main Hall Cons: 1) Very limited space. Expansions are few and far between unless you buy gems, which greatly restricts base-building creativity 2) No option to manually fight like in the web browser (I don’t think this will ever be added since it would take a LOT of reworking) 3) You have to be patient when it comes to the PvP battles. It takes a long time to train enough units to fight, and you can only send in so many, so you get to points where you can’t win until you get a certain upgrade To the Devs: This game desperately needs a base designer mode. There’s so little space and every inch is filled, so it’s IMPOSSIBLE to redesign my base. I can’t move anything, which is an enormous problem because when you upgrade buildings to certain levels, they get bigger and require more space. Find a way to make an edit mode where we can start from scratch and place things down

Awesome game!. This is exactly what I was looking for in a MMORPG game. I am so sick of MMORPG games that require you to join an alliance and “conquer” everyone in sight. I was in Grepolis for years. I was so tired of being conquered every time my BP had ended. Even if you do join an alliance doesn’t guarantee you that you’ll survive. Just got tired of having to start my city over and over again. Elvenar is exactly what I love to do. Just build a beautiful city with side journeys to complete if you want to. No alliances here but you do have Fellowships if you want to join. Nicer people here, too.

Love this game!. I hate to say this, but I’m addicted to this game! Before real life kicked me around with time constraints, I had 10 cities! Finding a good fellowship is sometimes a challenge, but once you do, it’s a blast. There are no other players raiding your city and stealing your goods, either. Not a fan of games like that. Tournaments are weekly and important to the growth of your city. Fellowship Adventures are fun, but sometimes a challenge to coordinate. Graphics rock! Events are great because you get time and supplies boosts, plus needed spells. When you first start the game, it looks simple. It is not! Makes you think! There’s a lot to know about this game and thankfully, there are resources in and out of the game that help. Plus, some players are a whiz at this game. You can play without buying boatloads of premium currency (diamonds) and that’s a challenge, too. I love challenges! A couple of complaints are these: in-game chat is not stable and is frequently out of commission. Messaging is better and is *finally* available on the app - took them long enough! However, messages only last so long. Emojis are finally available on PC, but not the app. Anyway, we’ve had to resort to an outside gamer’s chat app to hold information we need and to chat. Next request for the app: please make it so you can apply KP to other’s Ancient Wonders! As with any game, there are good and bad aspects, but overall, this is a fantastic game!

Customer Service Terrible. So I thought I try this game out. When it first starts it ask you to login in, I saw a Facebook login so thought I use it. When I started playing I notice my town name was Scandalous and some numbers. So I looked to change it since I didn’t pick it. Well I looked and couldn’t find nothing so I contacted support. I explain that I used my Facebook account to play and I want to change my name. I was told I couldn’t change it because I choose that name. I would have to delete the account I made and start a new one. I explain I never made a account though the game because I used Facebook at the very beginning but was called a liar. Well first off I’m 40 and I only use two different names no matter what games I play. Guess what Scandalous isn’t one of them. So since you like calling your customers a liar, take your game and stick it.

Love it. It’s a fun game that takes some skill but anyone can do it. The app has gotten a lot better! I can do everything from my phone now which is awesome. You can join a fellowship that helps you get through the game much easier, and being a part of a fellowship allows you to do more in the game. Lots of themed events, some better than others. It does take a lot of time to get through some of the chapters. I’ve been playing a year and a half and haven’t made it all the way through the game yet, but I don’t play as fast as some of the others in my fellowship.

Great game! No problems.. Firstly, I love this game. This game has a great concept and has taken a step up from other Innogames. Elvenar is a creative and fun simulation game. If you want to be challenged, but have fun at the same time, then this game is great. I will admit that some of the goods can be hard to get, but it is pretty easy to figure it out after playing it for a bit. The research is a lot more challenging than other games, but I don’t mind it at all. The events are always fun and the continent map is a little harder. Elvenar has made me extremely invested in simulation games, but after playing almost every game it there, this is by far in my top 5.

Winter event is here. And it feels like they're just gotten progressively harder since last spring. It now requires a Minimum of 50 ribbons to open a single box, depending on the Task requirements, getting 50 ribbons could in some instances take a whopping 24 hrs, and in order to clear an entire board of 16 prizes it would take 800 ribbons!! Or you can spend 500 Precious diamonds for 2 prizes, which, as always, may just turn out to be JUNK. If u don't have enough ribbons to clear the board before the next 'shuffle' u don't get the grand prize of the day. Very frustrating... I don't think something so hyped to be an exciting EVENT, should be so slow moving to build ribbons to win, Frankly, the fun of the game itself is slow Enough, the events should be quick, and fun, and ensure Real prizes for all, not something I can build on my own In 2 hrs... that's no Prize! ..and the fun balance is lost becoming disappointed by watching great prizes go by that you won't obtain. Just one players opinion, but it saddens me the events feel nowhere near as much fun as they once were.. but I'm still hanging in there. For now

Fun, but very limited!. I like this game and have been playing for a little while now. It is fun and I like the theme of the game. HOWEVER, it becomes harder and harder to get city expansions as you go further into the game, which does not allow you to build or upgrade any buildings. You're stuck until you can get an expansion through research (which are few) or conquer enough provinces (which can take time as well). It eventually becomes boring to wait for the opportunity to expand; the game at a basic standstill other than collecting and using your points for research. Also, it is $5 (440 gems) to buy a land expansion, which goes up further in price with each purchase. I like this game, but feel misled and mistreated by the creators of the game when they expect me to pay $60 for a single 5x5 expansion. That's just greedy.

Great game that is going downhill fast. This game is a wonderful gem that is a rare find in the mobile world, and by that I mean it truly is f2p and you can enjoy it with or without spending money (which has previously led me to spend money purely for the sake of supporting the game, which I enjoy doing). That being said, the developers have made a significant number of changes in recent months, and almost all of them have been downgrades for the game. Events are worse, prizes are worse, etc. What I cannot understand is that it cannot even be explained as a p2w move, since players would just be spending money to earn more of the same worse prizes. I really hope this turns around soon, because as I mentioned this game has been very enjoyable, but for now it is going in a very negative direction. For any new players out there, you will still feel the effects of the downgrades, because veteran players will have that much more of a permanent benefit over you.

Poor customer service. Don’t waste your time on this game. I requested help from customer service on an issue of the game freezing and not providing me with the items that I should have received for completing a task. After multiple attempts of restarting the game I finally deleted it and reinstalled it and everything came up to password I was supposed to be I still did not receive the items for the tasks. I did receive an email from the customer service congratulations you passed the area where you were having issues. Good thing I knew how to solve the issue no thanks to them. A task was part of a bigger campaign, because of that I lost a day of being able to perform tasks and get closer towards the end and making it to the goal. Come to find out the last few tasks in this campaign are locked by time and if you don’t spend money you won’t be able to complete those tasks.

Patience required. The game is evolving and your experience will evolve if you play long enough. There is no reason to spend a lot of money. A little money goes a long way. Diamonds are $10/month. A stash outpost is $7.99 for a 21 day event. Neither are necessary but it makes the game more fun. We play both as individuals and as part of a fellowship. The choice is yours. You will need help. The game is way too complicated. However, there are shortcuts and ways to figure it out. Been playing for about 2 years. Especially good for patient players who enjoy a challenging game and making something grow over time.

Could be a rated much higher, but.... This game is a city building game with no pvp! Yeah! If you play with friends you will be unable to join their team as the team search option is random. Boo! You are unable to search for a particular in game name, also random. Boo! Today prior to the most current update, I opened the app and went to my city and collected gold, etc. and put orders in like I do every morning. I put down the phone only to pick it up later to collect more gold, and my game was missing. There’s an update, so I updated the app. The game is still missing. I liked the game as it didn’t require my time, however I am not going to start over and will be deleting the app once this review is complete. Stay away from this game would be my advice to my fellow players.

Good game but very frustrating. The game play mechanism is good but property management is very very frustrating. It almost seems that dev is doing it on purpose. 1. You cant rotate the map to get a better view from another angle. 2. You can’t rotate building so you can fit your building in a position to create additional property space. 3. You can’t move your buildings outside of available property space temporarily so you can reorganize your map easier. Now let’s say that you managed to use every square of you available space, now you want swap builds position. You can’t do it!! The only way do this is to sell a building to create that space, move the build, then buy it back. When you sell you make a loss on it. 4. Buildings you gain from an event, once you put it on the map, that’s it. You can’t unsummon it. You can only sell it and you gain nothing from selling it. 5. I am stuck because I created building that takes 5x5 squares that it is useless because I put it right next to the main hall assuming it is connected with the main hall I don’t need a road. Now I can’t even get rid of it and I can’t create additional space to put it elsewhere. Very frustrating. At least if #2 can be changed this game will be a much better game.

Has potential. Game needs a BETTER tutorial, items need more description on what they do, campaign needs to have some kind of system showing how many enemies your going to be battling instead of waiting until the end, soldiers need more descriptions on stats, power, moves, etc. in reality I would just revamp the whole game. It does have potential but where it stands right now the game needs a lot of work. Buildings that produce goods need to be producing more per time allotted or lower the time requirements for each production. The production and reward after are extremely confusing. You produce water and gives tools??? You produce wood armor and it gives steel....little things like this will kill a game faster than flash raced Superman. If a better update comes out might rerate the hame but right now it deserves **

The most wonderful, consistent game. Unlike to many games out there who will not be named, elvenar dosent require you to pay to play. Truly. There are no ads. There are no super hard levels after a certain point that require you to buy boosts. You can play for years and years, as much or as little as you want, and you will be able to move forward. My city always has more than enough extra boosters that I almost never truly need to use unless I want to. There are new events every month, with new buildings too! New chapters consistently come out so you’re never stuck at the end. Such a wonderful faithful little game. The designers are so innovative. The community is supportive and so kind. I buy diamonds purely because I want to support the makers of this game in their efforts, never because I need to. As it should be. I recommend this 100%.

Great game but not compatible with newer iPhones(X and 11). I love the game. I’ve been playing for years. However, I recently upgraded from an iPhone 6s to an iPhone 11. The dip at the top of my screen for the speaker and camera cuts off important parts of the game. Either the announcements or the messages buttons get cut off(depending how my phone is flipped). While this is manageable, it’s annoying having to flip my phone to access features. Another thing that isn’t ideal is that I cannot switch between my different worlds on the app. I can only stay on one. On the online web version, I can have multiple world. Other than these two things, I enjoy the game quite a bit.

Already great, Constantly improving. I have been playing this game for a full year now. I got addicted to it on mobile long before I knew the mobile version was much newer and didn’t have all of the features of the pc version. But over this last year I have seen the developers constantly improving the mobile version so that there’s always something new, and now, there’s hardly a difference between the two. This is a fantastic game, and not a lot of developers put as much effort, new features, and events into their game after it is released as these do. IMHO, they make the difference between a good game, and a truly GREAT game.

Great game. Mentally stimulating, fun, challenging. Great game all round. Dedicate at least a bit of time each day for best results

Challenges of constraint. Unlike so many other games, Elvenar doesn't offer an offer easy path to the top of the table. You are bound and constrained by the clever design of the game. Chief among challenges is space in which to lay down buildings. Buildings change size and shape as they evolve, constantly driving re-arrangement to find maximum placements within the area available. It becomes easier as you you come to anticipate how building footprints change. But take your eye off the ball, and you'll end up snookered. There's one thing missing that would be immensely useful: having a transparent building path-only view, as buildings often obscure the layout of paths. Since space is so crucial, I am constantly re-arranging, but its easy to miss a piece of path. Seeing the entire network of paths unobstructed would be extremely helpful. Otherwise, I'm enjoying a enjoying the challenges this game provides.

Inno have killed the game. Recent updates made to the game have destroyed it for me. Specifically the cost to upgrade certain buildings has moved so much that you are practically forced to spend money. As a player of Elvenar for over 2 years it is sad that I won’t be playing anymore as I loved it until now

Such a good game. This is seriously the best game of its type that I’ve played. The people are friendly, and the music and gameplay are just so nice. The gems are fair and don’t feel scammy either. 100% recommend it. Plus the devs actually seem to care with their events, and with the progression line being so long. Just so much content.

I was enjoying the game until...... I was enjoying this game until I hit a point where I needed to unlock technology. I cannot for the life of my find where I have to do this. I have sent a tech support message and haven’t had a reply. Such a shame really.

Too expensive. This is the most expensive game on iPad. Cannot progress unless you spend heaps of money. Great game but way too slow to progress in building your city unless you buy bucket loads of gems. Very frustrating in waiting for supplies. Sadly will delete due to frustration of not progressing. Ciao!

Tips. I really enjoy playing this game, one thing that’s letting it down is the fact there is no Inventory, so you can’t really move things around in the game unless you have room for it. Just want to be able to change the pay out of the game to make more space.

Private messaging / mail for app. I’m an app only player and I would just like to say, great game but why is there no mail access from the app?! Please please add ASAP! Aren’t tournament rewards sent to mail? Think of all the important mails I haven’t seen!!!

More work needed!. Loads of potential but missing heaps of stuff compared to the computer version, kind of seems like a beta version.

Rating. Find the tasks relaxing, what I like the most is it does not always push adds at me. If I want to look at premium l tent I can, not forced to look at them every screen change

Give us your cash. The game play is decent. Sadly it is the usual free to play but if you want to make any serious progress then hand over lots of cash for over priced game tender.

A Game for the Whole Family. I know families who play in the same fellowship; kids, parents and grandparents. You can spend as little or as much time as you would like to spend, whether it’s once a day or every couple of days. There are weekly tournaments, as well as periodically new and creative challenges. It’s a game of balance and strategy. While this may appear to be a fake review to some, this is actually an overdue revision of one of their most critical reviews. I have been playing this game for a long time, which is not common for me. The game is relatively easy to start up and get going, however at some point I believe many new players hit a plateau and can become frustrated 🙋🏼‍♀️. Honestly I had a love/hate relationship with the game, but evidently it kept me coming back. Patience is key and working with a good fellowship that matches your playing style. Some like to talk and some don’t, some require you to participate in every tournament, while others are just happy to have you there. Overall this is one of the best games that is available, the creators have done a wonderful job in its design. The graphics are extraordinary beautiful and creative.🤝

Request. It would really good to be able to read messages in the app

Just Fabulous. Couldn’t think of a better game!

Filled with bugs of all sorts. And really unhelpful game moderators. Frustrating to play since you’re always in shortage of space but not to the point where it’s challenging- rather, to the point where it’s become so annoying you just want to quit. In fact you guys have huge attrition don’t you? Perhaps you want to look at that. Although your prices are so crazy that you might be making enough out of the few users you end up being left with ....... The only reason the rest of us are staying is the community/“fellowships” we’ve already formed.

Grench. I really love the game got pretty far in the game then lost my game and it made me start over again hope this doesn’t happen often was very disappointed

It’s a good game. I love the game I am so proud of the city I have built it is a great game And out of a lot of games I prefer this game and I also reckon you guys should check out merge dragons

Stole my money. Game stole my money 3 times and gave me no crystals. Game has lots of glitches.

Holding my interest. Been playing for well over a year now and not losing interest as I do with so many games, so there must be something good going on here. Love the ‘hide buildings’ option now available when rearranging buildings. Not loving the constant crashing that’s been a thing for the past 3-4 months, especially prevalent when trying to use the trader, but can occur in any screen. Also, game continually telling me I have no internet when every other app I try has plenty of wifi signal to operate. Has Elvenar become internet greedy? 5 stars if it stops crashing.

Getting closer to 5 stars. It is an amazing game with everything that is challenging, puzzling and fun… along with great teamwork activities. Almost 5 stars because some later chapters are just so slow (unnecessarily so), but the developers are definitely putting more into the game for the seasoned player to sink their teeth into. It’s good to see!

An entertaining and challenging game. I looove this game ☺️ I love all the artwork and imagination that goes into it… it’s definitely a long term game.

Issues with app. Love the app, just a couple things I’ve found. Can’t do the new Halloween quest...I don’t see a link. When clicking on ‘goods’, it doesn’t show graphite or copper.

What started as fun is now just a chore. I started of much of a solo player as teams often harbor a lot of agressive players in any game. I found this extremely linear and often a chore. I recently became a member of a fellowship that shares my value of being fun, team work, helping others and most of all having fun. This really was a game changer as it helped make the game rewarding and fellowship activities make it less linear. Technology research in chapters in the game is extremely linear which is one thing that would be neat if improved to be more multi path

Hard to progress. I find it hard to progress because to expand your city you to fight or negotiate. Once you done the first couple which are easy they get to very hard. You can’t fight because you need to upgrade armouries and you can’t upgrade them which expanding. I like the game but progress I feel you need to buy gems. If you not willing to spend real money expect a really slow game.

Blocking people from finishing event quests. Why put a block on the number of quests during events so it makes it impossible to finish them? I find it frustrating having to wait a day for the next one when it’s obvious unless you pay you can’t complete them.

A bit unwieldy. Enjoy the game and like the fact that it is ad free. I am a relatively new player so may not have discovered these functions but don’t believe that they actually exist. A couple of things that would make the playing experience more enjoyable especially on a small screen is the ability to park a building when you are re-arranging rather than having to sell it and rebuild it, and a way to see the paths without the buildings. Otherwise great game.

A rich gaming experience. Elvenar provides a variety of challenges a great team or fellowship system where groups of players can boost each other's progress and participate in shared challenges for group rewards. Much more than just a fantasy building game.

Fascinating world. Avery addictive game that has you planning strategies and designing your kingdom. Working with a fellowship is amazing both for the benefits and the socialisation. The one improvement l would like is for there to be a holding space which can’t be permanently built on but which you can use to help move buildings to a better plan. Congratulations on a fabulous game.

How to hints. It would be nice if I clicked on an object if it told me how to ‘get it’ as well as properties, instructions etc. but am having fun.

Love the game. This game is fantastic, I love the way the game is focused on building, research and planing city layouts at each level. But for me the fact you have to participate in events to get troop boosters rather than being able to buy them makes it my favourite game on my iPhone. I have purchase stuff from the store, but this was more of a thank you to the developer rather than getting a reward. Love the new developments on iPhone app making it quicker to basic tasks each day

Don’t bother. The game updated. Just after I bought 1000 gems. The game shut down. It restarted and all my gems went down the drain. It asked me start a whole new game. Not too mention the provinces went straight from easy to hard and very hard. I had to buy the gems to keep fighting the provinces. I would like my money back.

Elvenar. You can’t pass this game … It’s a must coz it’s so easy to play and fellowships are fantastic in helping you out…. Cheers Paws

Lovely relaxing game. I have been playing for over 18 months and really pleased to have the app on my tablet as it allows me to play when away from my pc.. This game is complex and long term. It is not a quick thrill. You need patience. You do not need money. In fact it is very inexpensive. Most of the people in my fellowship have not spent a cent on it. I have maybe spent $20 over the past 18 months. I love it. Every city is different and beautiful and enjoy seeing my city grow

Magic!. I have been playing for approximately 18 months and absolutely love this game. Building your city as you go through the chapters is both challenging and rewarding. With Fellowships, trading, adventures, tournaments, the spire and carnivals there are always rewards to be had to help build and enjoy. I love the artwork especially the special event buildings. You can play slowly or advance quickly it’s all up to you. I wasn’t keen on the Orcs chapter so did the minimum and now in the lovely world of the woodelves. I love this game. Thanks InnoGames 🙏🏼

High quality but need investment. The game is high quality with gorgeous graphics and complex mechanics. However the resources are slow to gather, your city needs a lot of supervision. I think it’ll take 1 year of daily play to reach the final tier. Also the artificial restriction on the city surface is very painful.

Love this Game. So pleased this is now available on my iPad. I can play a lot more. Great when I travel for work.

Love the game BUT..... Love the game but when I go to do stuff I get given a black screen.. as in where my buildings are.. the outer tabs are still available but rest of screen black.. so annoying to have to refresh game too often.

Best Game. A real top quality game that I throughly enjoy playing

Name change and bonus’s. Needs an option to change lords name and sign in bonuses would be better But otherwise good game👍

Good game but app issues. The game is involving and has good events etc, but the app keeps failing to connect via mobile data. I’ve tried the online solutions but nothing solves it permanently.

Brilliant fantasy game. I thoroughly playing this game as it puts me in a fully immersive fantasy elf world which feels good to be in, not to mention the great scripts and fantastic art work.

Elvenar. I love this game and have a lot of tim3 and respect for the designers. They do listen to people when they have a gripe. Sometimes people forget that people are running business and this is their livelihood. They are not designing for free ( who works for free anyway). Well done on a great game

Never a dull moment!. Great game! Heaps of variety. Game gets better as you progress through the Chapters.

Pretty good. I’m satisfied with the fantasy side of it, but I think it’s a tiny bit boring. Quicker ways to build and expand your kingdom would be nice! Thanks!

Fellowships across the world. I have been playing since the game started, I’ve had small breaks but always found myself coming back. The game is challenging at times, but being in a good fellowship group is the best support you can ask for and wonderful friendship across the world.

Kicked me out. This game has lots of flaws. It kicked me out next time I went into app, then wouldn't register my password. Another elf was created, not lodged in via f/book same thing happened. This one I got up to a lot of time invested. Tried again,Now kicked out again. The only one that I can get into is one of the started towns. So long story short bye bye, now there are 3 Michelle's elf not going to be moving........deleting app

Stellar Game backed by Stellar People. I’ve been playing this game for a few months. The game is (unlike most other games) actually advertised properly. There’s constant content, and plenty to keep you occupied while waiting for seasonal events. Great to play with friends too! I got a few friends involved to start a fellowship and the game only got better from there. Definitely deserves the 5 stars and the attention. Only ever had a single issue and the support team got back fast too. Overall it’s a good choice whether you’re looking for a casual game or something to really sink your time into. Highly recommended. Perhaps I’ll see you in Winyandor!

Unashamedly pay to play. Just another dime a dozen app game that requests huge sums of money to progress or you get stuck with the ever increasing time walls on upgrades. I would rather buy a complete AAA title with hours of content for the same amount of cash id spend just to reduce some timers and see a couple of new buildings on my screen.

Missing battles. App could really use the manual battle function, it’s only half the game without it.

Autumn Quest. I enjoy playing Elvenar and have been playing multiple times, every day for months. Unfortunately, the current Autumn Zodiac event is leaving me flat. I never finish any of the events but I generally get far enough along to have fun. In this event, I’ve stalled on the 5th task as I don’t trade. My choice and it usually happens at some point, however, I can usually collect enough fallen whatevers to get enough ‘tokens’ to move steadily on through the event. The cost of the treasure chests in this event is very high. I still have 14 stars in the constellation left to get the next upgrade and I think that will probably take me about 5 days. I’ll be lucky to ‘hatch’ my bear before the event is over. Feeling defeated before I sign in.

Something Off.. I have been playing for quite a few years and also play many other games. I just find there is just something missing for it to be a great game. This is just my opinion though. The costs, the battles, the buildings seems to be just too costly and diamonds are very rare. All this makes for playing the game less interesting. Spending money is not going to happen as everything is just not worth it. Again, just my opinion. I only gave it a three star because I see the potential of it being excellent but for now, I will just play for fun which all games should be and not stressful.

Love the graphics.. Whoever designed this game has a wonderful imagination. Everything is so beautifully animated and the buildings and people are lovely. The Adventures, tournaments and other games make this delightful fun to play.

Mobile problem.. Going to battle is a key component in this game, you cannot get very far without participating in it, but you can only do it with a desktop. The only option for battle on a portable unit is auto fight which costs a great deal more in casualties, which in turn reduces the amount of battles you may enter, which in turn reduces battle scores for you and your fellowship. Because of this your progress is dramatically reduced, as well as that of your fellowship’s. It is a great game if you play on desktop but if you play on a portable unit (smart phone, or pad) it sucks.

Great gameplay. Great game for mei get to use at points through day when I have time to kill

Not so nice. Game is good but in order to level up it costs too much. Have to buy diamonds. Expensive

Cool. This game is so LIT 🔥 The only suggestion I have is when you have tasks and quests to complete, maybe tell how to do them on the side. But if you see this, DOWNLOAD!

Avis. Le coût de certaines merveilles ou recherches est devenu beaucoup trop haut Je songe à arrêter de jouer.

Poor player treatment. I came back to the game after taking a break for awhile. Every month or so prior to re-joning the company would send me a free diamond offer to come back. When I did come back they refused to honour the promotion. I came back to the game because I had a positive experience in the past but now I’m so frustrated with the way I was treated buy customer support, being denied a legitimate promo, I have soured on the game and will just delete it. It appears they have no idea how to treat their players.

Rearranging system. Don't get me wrong I love this game but it's so annoying to move the buildings around and organize my city or town whatever you wanna call it. I wish there was a way to keep presets of your town so if you feel like you need to rearrange your village you can use another set while keeping the other one.

Not happy. This is all fine and dandy but I only have access to one fellowship and no one will answer my request to be invited. I’ll give it one more day but then I’m out of here as I can’t progress without trade.!!!

Graphics?. Very addictive and engaging with great artwork interspersed; however, the graphics are a little basic, especially in comparison to something like simcity buildit. Will you ever develop the game to allow for buildings to rotate, at least?

Good at what it does. It’s a super laid back city builder. I enjoy the occasional no pressure game so it works well for me!

Top two games in my book. Been one of my top two games for years now. Love the imaginative buildings.

I can’t. I can’t get into th exams I am very upset I only get to see in innogames i am very mad I am playing on iPad I was really looking forward to playing this

Manque d’espace. Difficile de placer les bâtiments. Offrir plus d’extension.

Bull. What the hell!!! Before the update I lost all my progress, and with the new update I hoped that I’ll all be back; BUT NOPE!!! BACK TO SQUATE ONE!!! DELETING. BYYYYEEEEEE

Save your time or your money. If you play not both.. Slow... boring. Way overvalue their gems. Would like you to spend hundreds of dollars to have a reasonably paced experience. Without gems you’ll always be at a disadvantage, and it would take easily several years to get anywhere near Chapter 15. Just move along. Honestly not worth your time, which is what the devs are mostly trying to spend. Your time or your money. Lots of either. They don’t care which one. Savage.

A fantastic challenge!. The game has chapters with quests to fulfill. Some are for set up and give on-the game training. Later, some are story chapters each with a different set of inhabitants coming to your city. What I love most about the Elvenar worlds is the sense that there is always something you can do to get ahead. I find this encourages me in daily life too. There are many challenges including: building size changes, never enough space, coins, tool supplies, time to get goods/train troops, and lots of waiting. There are side events and games that payout goods/troops and bonuses of all kinds. There’s a lot of city replanning. I’d definitiely suggest using the website to research about the side games, story chapters, the tournaments and spire as you prepare for the next one. Above all, be prepared to make tough decisions and replan your city to accommodate the new chapter narrative. So many of the buildings are really cool and give all sorts of different boons toward game play. It’s social too. I’d totally recommend joining a fellowship as this allows a player to enjoy the side games, tournaments, and spire so much more. There’s messaging and a chat bar - all using your gamer name with no video, so it’s not at all intimidating. Some members are chatty (like me) but many drop in and out without a word. That’s okay too. However, some fellowships don’t work out - it’s okay there are plenty more to try for a good fit. Just keep it polite, friendly, and always fair trade, (2/3 star trades.) If you like sims city or the tycoon cities/trains etc., then you’ll love this. The social fellowship is an extra great dimension and overtime the camaraderie is brilliant. Your fellowship has always got your back and you have there’s. And as you get to love your city and your team you will be more and more interested in how your fellowship performers against other fellowships. Layers upon layers to allow your city to grow in complexity. This game has it all and it’s free! BUT there are in-game purchases for diamonds if you want them. I personally use them - but sparingly. After all, the programmers deserve to be paid, right ;-) AND I think it’s wonderful that a players economic background in the real world doesn’t exclude them from playing - that’s just my humble opinion. So I set my spend to a price I think is reasonable for a game as advanced and enjoyable as this and keep to it. P’s: I’ve waited to review the game because I wanted to experience what the game’s Support is like. For example, there are many different offers for diamonds. My first small purchase went through in moments - payment through the Apple store. What could be easier? But a larger diamond offer had transaction difficulties (my bank being overly cautious,) and I found myself sandwiched between my bank’s process and Apple completing the transaction. Elvenar Support were amazing! No, truly! Of course, offers in Elvenar have time constraints and so I was very pleased when the Apple Store invoice came through in time for me to message it to Support. Who made good on the purchase in moments, something they can’t do without the invoiced details - of course. So thumbs up all around for Elvenar!

Good. It’s a good and fun game to play.it can at a certain level get really hard and in my opinion a little unfair but is still one of my favourite games.it takes a bit for it to be hard.

game. i like it so far like building my city.

App freezes and shuts down game. I play on an iPad and have been for many years. Recently the App started freezing and shutting the game down sometimes. Other than that I like the game.

Things take really long. The game is fun, however it’s a game you honestly can only play once A day it seems, everything you need takes at least 3 hour up to a few days. I’ve never seen a game that takes that amount of time and what you yield from it isn’t a lot at all. If they changed that aspect I feel like I would play this game all day long.

Fun Patience Game. Diverse puzzles and playing options, beautiful art, and builds virtues of helping others, increasing patience, using self-control, and choosing to sacrifice for the “long term goal”.

A decent game to play. I love playing this game. It’s all about building your city and run it. Graphics are awesome and buildings are beautiful and detailed. The game always challenges you. The community is active and helpful.

Adorable fun. Love this game!!! So creative and fun.

The game. It is sad to see how much this game has changed over the last year. Events used to be a challenge and fun and you actually got something worthwhile for your efforts. Now just normal game play to complete quests and garbage is given in return. Really, why even bother. Changes to the tournaments, all in the name of making it better, what a load of crap. As far as I am concerned the improvements are killing the game. But, that is just my opinion. Although in all 6 of my cities I have never heard anyone indicate that they actually like the changes over the last year or so. I have lost so many neighbours since the last tournament changes, it's unbelievable that anyone can say the changes made it better. I have not advanced my 3 chapter 15 cities in the last year. Why bother? I used to spend a lot of time playing this game not any more. Even these 3 small cities haven't grown in the last year. I just pop on every now and then and collect my goods, reset my factories, then off I go. Can't see myself sticking around much longer. I keep hoping things will get better, wishful thinking on my part. It's funny how I only get these surveys in my small cities, I've always just ignored them in the past. Maybe you folks figure that the small cities don't know any better and that's why the surveys come here. I would guess that you would not want to hear from people who have been around a few years and have seen the steady decline. And I know that this is a waste of my time and yours. So in the future I will just continue to ignore the surveys, but I thought I would give it a shot. A great game gone to the crapper by all your improvements.

Preliminary work required. My first try at this type of game and found that research on the web was necessary. Slow start but making some breakthroughs.

Love it!. I love this game! It is just the right amount of waiting and playing for me. One thing I would love to see added is to be able to zoom in and out on the world map. I find it tedious to scroll around when you start getting a large amount of provinces scouted and finished. All in all a wonderful game! 😁

Happy so happy new day honey. So m

Unfair, underdeveloped, outdated. App unable to offer manual fighting giving an unfair advantage to PC users whom lose less units and win against tougher enemies. App made several YEARS ago, complaints of this unethical imbalance have been raised for years yet not addressed. Sometimes event quests ask for items one does not even have or cannot make yet (e.g. pet feed starting out when only Ch1 with no pet and cannot even craft yet). Customer support doesn’t read actual complaints and brushes you off. Unless you play daily and every few hours it can take months to get to do team events such as tournaments and spire yet those events help you grow. Newer apps integrate weekly team effort much sooner. The game is outdated and did not evolve with the many years it has been in existence.

Opinion. I love the game..HOWEVER…I’m very frustrated with having to move things s around constantly! Everytime I have to upgrade I end up having to move things around as the space needed changes from horizontal to vertical. Obtaining new land has become VERY difficult this last while so it has ceased to be a fun game to enjoy. Not sure how much longer I will play due to frustration level.

Too expensive. An interesting game well designed as usual by Inno, but too expensive to continue with

Lots of fun. Fun game, very relaxing and no drama of the PVP games. Needs some changes like allowing the buildings to rotate and more opportunities to expand.

I have paid for package and received nothing. The company game producer is thief. I have paid almost 70$ couples of day ago for the package within the game and did not receive all the items I had to, the most important and crucial for the game. I wrote to technical support immediately and they did nothing. No response, no commitments when the problem will be solved, no communication at all. I do not recommend to play this game, they will just steal your money. This is the first time I faced such problem, I would not recommend to play this game, it does not worth it. There are much better games with much better support.

Good fun. Played for almost 5 years great graphics good fun make new friends.

Need search capability. Good game but trying to play with your friends or family is next to impossible. Would be better if you could search members and fellowships. Please fix this

Fun and addictive. I honestly really like this game! With a few cool updates this game could become really good! My only issues with the game are (1 it’s too hard to earn diamonds (2 the battles are automatic (but I’m sure this one will be fixed soon) (3 The time it takes to wait for things to be produced (not really a big problem)

Search Feature. Please add a search feature to the game. It’s really difficult to find my friends and invite them to my fellowship. I hope you can fix this

Fun but challenging. I love it but some of the font is a little small and there’s so much going on I find it hard to fully complete any challenge

Too difficult to move items. Using an iPad it’s extremely difficult to move items. If some of the items could rotate it might be a bit easier. I have already run out of room on the first try, even with an expansion added. Nice game, but that problem alone has me leaving. Note: am also playing Rise of Empires which I love!

Frustrating more than fun.. The game gets frustrating and irritating at the constant events and the routine tasks (e.g., spire) become impossible to complete. Using up your resources and ensuring diamonds are used makes me want to quit this repetitive game which seemingly has no end. Worst of all is that it stopped being fun. If it wasn’t for my fellowship members, I would have quit month ago. Time for a change!!

Combat?. Why the combat system is just automatic and dont see any fights when I saw the trailer with kind of strategic battles?

Dark Captain. Great game.

Problème de jeton Facebook. Depuis aujourd’hui je n’arrive plus a ouvrir mes ville car il ne veux plus se connecter avec Facebook!!! Svp à l’aide

Why does it always auto battle?. I can’t go into the battle field so it just auto battles for me but the rest of the game is good so far.so can you make me be able to go into the battle field and other people to. Thanks

What I think of Elvenar.. I like it. I’d recommend it to my friends…..if I had any. It also reminds me of real life but in an imaginary and totally fictional way. Hours of fun…..waiting. Looking forward to my next upgrade of my Sunset Towers…..whatever the hell that is???. All the best. HaG1.

iPad issues. Great game!! Very hard to play on iPad as it gives a “black screen of death” VERY regularly. Happens that you can only reset your computer ( and game) to be able to play. Happens more than three times or more per day based on playing four times throughout the day. If you only play on iPad , I don’t recommend it. Too many black screens!!!

Trop de bugs. Après deux reprise d’impossible de se connecter. Après une re-installation, la confiance n’y est plus.

Players beware. The developers are nothing more than a bunch of greedy people that doesn’t care about the customers who are putting them in riches. I gave it 2 stars because the game itself isn’t bad but trying to achieve ways to progress is difficult because most the time it requires money to buy gems. It was brought to their attention that buying a builder was really expensive (500 gems) but they didn’t agree to lower the price claiming that a player could do certain things and they would get like a gem or something. Pretty sad that that’s the kind of people that run this game. Greedy people. I will never spend another dollar in this game.

Stop shorting us on artifacts needed to evolve buildings!. I’m collecting all the eggs AND have completed ALL quests of BOTH SETS in the most recent Ashen Phoenix event and I see that the rotation of Grand prizes, you ONLY give 7 of the 9 artifacts needed before giving us another egg! SHAME ON YOU!!! Give us all 9 artifacts in the rotation!!! You keep trying to come up with new ways to force us to spend real cash in order to complete the buildings that we must evolve to get the maximum you sell! We are supposed to be able to play this game for free and still enjoy it!

Rearrange Option. I enjoy the game but would like to make a suggestion. Please add an option for rearranging our city. Right now my city looks a mess. I would like for things to be more organized but moving things around is almost impossible. Maybe add a storage facility that way we could put everything away and then arrange things to be more visually appealing. I hope you guys read this and consider it. I really think it would make the game more enjoyable.

Pretty intriguing. I really enjoy this game; however, I cannot seem to figure out how the battling works. There is no explanation about how to do it and doesn’t show the actual battle happen. I don’t understand why my sword dancers have 28.3 under them or my archers have 29.8 under them. I keep upgrading my “squad size”, but when I go to battle, my squad size is still 6 where as everyone else has a squad size of 11 or higher. I think this is a great app, but more explanation needs to go into how to battle and what each upgrade means.

Needs a better way to organize your place. The game is great so far, although it is lacking some features that the browser version has. I would try to have the mailing feature added to the app, other those who plays the game only through the app, would never receive those mail. Also I would REALLY appreciate it if there’s some kind of storage system when organizing your “kingdom” so you can have a clean slate to work with. Similar to what clash of clans does. It just makes everything easier. Thank you!

If you like watching grass grow, this game is for you!. It’s a pretty and magical-themed city builder with cool marketing... and that’s all I have good to say about it. This is easily THE most boring and pointless game I’ve ever played. The wait times for resources and builds are ridiculously long and there is no pay off. You build, wait and level so you can build and wait more. It becomes increasingly tedious as you grow because you only earn more and bigger tedium. There isn’t even an interesting combat component to it. Combat is rock, scissors, paper with no strategy or even a battle to watch. Skip this game despite all the shill reviews. Read reviews on other sites and you’ll see that few real players have anything good to say about it.

Enjoyable. This game is really good for people who want to watch their city grow without worrying about getting your stuff raided from other players! The game is all about helping players instead which fortunately is my personal preference. At times the game will slow in pace, but to me it makes it more rewarding when you finally build what you need or finally get enough points to research what you need.

Great game have option to play offline. Great fun game to play there are no battle with enemy’s having stealing your resources from you it’s sim city without disasters and fighting to steal resources from other players game can be better use WiFi to trade, visit other people towns, trading., On offline that you do not need WiFi you build up your city I have been playing city builder game for past four months that does need WiFi unless you watch videos to get double rewards but you can play with no WiFi to build your city up

Great fun game. Only thing I can think to improve is to add a 'Collect all' button to automatically collect all coins and provisions. Once your place is big, it takes time to click every one or click one and swipe all the pick ups. It's a bit addicting. Better than those other ones like this. Family Guy, Simpsons, Futurama...You don't have to spend a ton of real money to progress like those ones.

Great game cud be greater. First of all I frequently get a black screen and have to turn my IPad off to fix it, so there is a bug that needs to be fixed. Secondky the gsme relies too heavily diamonds and the diamonfpdcpurchases are expensive. When I’ve spent the time to do the research then have to spend gold I’ve earned to buy and expansion, for you to increase the amount of diamonds it costs with each purchase is an insult. At some point in time I can see where the expense far outweighs the joy. I’m in a great guild, we have much fun, but I’m surrounded by abandoned villages where they players reached that point and left messages like, “the party’s over”.

Patience, youngling.... This game is well balaced and progressive. It isn’t for everyone... it is a long, great builder that ends up being something that means something in an ever-increasing manner to you and your eventual guild. The app is only missing a bit compared to the webapp. Eventually it will only be the app. Why? Flash will be unsupported soon... so.. no webapp, only mobile app. They know this. The app is fast and great too. Get a fun guild and realize this game is a slow grind that becomes something magical over time!

No help. I loved this game. Addicted in 15 minutes. The next day I bought one of their feature packages. I have the proof I paid for it went through appropriate channels to receive either my package or my money back. I was then met with the exchange and final resolve of we have to wait for apple to provide a real receipt then until we can help you. Ridiculous. I waited reset the game even gave it till the next day in case of a glitch. I have the proof and yet they refuse to resolve this issue. I will be deleting my account and trying to find a new game to play. Beware of purchases because they will make sure you don’t get your money or packages.

Just Meh. I don’t understand the hype of this game, I’m maybe 30min play time into it and am stuck where the guy says to explore the world and negotiate or whatever but after clicking every single thing on the screen there is no way you can explore. There is no explanation as to where to go or what to do so basically I can close this game down and delete it before moving any further. At least I didn’t spend moths on it before getting stuck, no thanks. There are plenty of other simulation/city building games that are better built then this.

Was a great game. A few years ago I started playing. Made in app purchases because it was a fantastic game. A few days ago INNO made a update that was very damaging for me and most long term players. This is going to be expensive to rebuild my city to previous state and the reply from the developers is that it was a readjustment to even the playing field for all. They just lost me as a paying customer. I may continue playing but not even close to the level before. Absolutely no further income from this player!

Absolutely beautiful. I’ve been searching for a game exactly like this for such a long time. The art of each building is absolutely stunning and the amount of detail is just beautiful. I’ve had just a few hours in the game but I know I’ll be playing for a very long time. A huge thank you to the developer for creating this and I wish you all the luck in the future.

Great game w/o ads. This is a great game to play to wind down from the day. There are contests to win prizes. I would be happier if the amount of goods required to win these prizes were easier to acquire. I’ve been playing about a year, & it is still a huge challenge to reach levels high enough to win the top prizes in the time allotted to the contest. We (myself & the 22 other players in my fellowship)play everyday & love the game, but winning the prizes would make us “5 Star Happy!”

Game Changes. I really enjoyed this game when I first started playing, but now because of all the changes, it’s not as fun to play. Too many players are quitting because of the changes and I’m just afraid that one day soon, there won’t be a game to play. My fellowships have lost members because of the changes and it’s getting harder to get the chests in the weekly tournaments and the Fellowship Adventures. More goods are required, especially precious goods, so we keep running out. We run out of everything. I wish it would go back to the way it was. Quit giving us free stuff and then make it harder to play.

It’s fun. But it takes too long for anything.. I saw an ad for this and I thought I’d give it a go. It was really fun to start off and I liked the feel and the aesthetics. But I ultimately came to a point in the game where you really don’t get to expand hardly at all unless you spend money. I feel the game shouldn’t revolve around making people spend money if they want to advance in the game. I could understand if it were late into the game and people wanted to drop some cash into it to get that last cool structure or what not but not shortly after the player gets started. It’s fun other than that.

Great but Sloooooow. Love the idea of the game. Unfortunately I don’t like having to buy stuff constantly for a game so I wait and wait, and wait some more for things to finish constructing. I’ve played a lot of games like this, and this is by far the longest wait times. I just started this game a few days ago and have barely played because I’m constantly waiting for things to finish. I hate imagining what the wait times are like for the more advanced structures.

Potential, good game run by sadists.. The game is designed to make things hard, but not in a fun or creative way. You can't rotate buildings. Chapters are designed to request things that you have the least of, and every other chapter is designed to make you re-organize your entire village. Upgrading is almost required, but the space to do it cost money. You are always short of either resources from workshops, or supplies to buy anything. More matches early on are horrendously lopsided against you. Where it not for the people in my fellowship I play with, I would've quit months ago.

Meh.... This game is a little dull. There is a lot to do but it takes too long to do things, so you end up logging on a few times a day to collect supplies and expand your “exploration of the world”. For me, it takes way too long to get anything done (collecting supplies, expanding your city). The only think I like is that you don’t have to fight if you don’t want, you can “negotiate”, but it costs a lot of supplies. One issue - there is absolutely no way (that I’ve found) to earn gems, which are required to buy certain things and speed up the building/production. This makes the game much slower and more tedious. If you don’t spend real money, you can only have 2 builders at a time to make anything in your city.

Facebook login doesn’t work. I’ve been playing for about 2 years, recently mostly on mobile. I really love the game but the last 10 days I cannot login with Facebook. I tap the button, open FB app, give a permission and then come back to the same Facebook login page in the app. I can repeat it as much as I want and the result is always the same. I removed and reinstalled the game, but it changed nothing. So sad 😢

Login Problem, Otherwise Fun. This game is addicting, no doubt. But when I went and tried to build my third workshop, it said error occurred and made me restart the app. It then brought me back to my main screen. Then when I tried to build the workshop again, it told me the same error. So I went through the same routine, except this time a screen popped up and said INCORRECT PASSWORD. It didn't give me an option to change the password or retype the password. When I swiped up the app, and restarted it, it said the same message and I can't even play the game now. Please fix this!!!!

Elvenar has changed to make playing the game harder.. I’ve been playing Elvenar for nearly 5 years. The changes to the Ancient Wonders and what it takes to upgrade them has made it nearly impossible for new players to add Wonders to their city or even upgrade the ones they have. The changes have slowed the game down even further and leaves the players frustrated and confused about how the changes affects their city. Many players have spoken about quitting the game or stopping their in-game purchases in protest. The game as it was wasn’t perfect but it was a lot of fun.

Biggest Issue: Forced Buildings. In this game, especially early on, it’s imperative to have space. However, as you progress in research, you’re forced to to keep some buildings. This only becomes apparent once it’s too late; you built the building. The reason this made me give it a 1 star? I looked online and it turns out this specific issue has been around for 8 years, nearly a decade. Which tells me the people behind this game don’t actively listen to the community. At one point I thought to actually spend some money, just to be nice. But this new bit of information tells me I shouldn’t waste money on a game where the community voice doesn’t matter.

Great strategy game. As long as you enjoy planning & city building you’ll love this game. It takes a while to really understand all the components of game play and be ifits, such as tournaments, ancient wonders, culture, Spire.. If you can hang in until end of Chapter 4 you’ll probably be a long timer. 3 years now for me - my specialty is Event buildings. I have every one offered since I started For me the best part of the game are the prizes. So many prizes to win there’s something for everyone!

Great game. I really like this game. It engages the player with the challenge of creating their own city. Now, who would not want to create their own city😊! One builds on the city until it becomes what you envision it to be. And, if you are anything like me, it’s a never ending process. The challenges (which is the reason I gave the game 4 stars) are very nice but can be very expensive to play, especially beating the Spire! It’s a great escape game in which I think you will enjoy.

Not bad, bit repetitive. Pushing the same events over and over gets old as does the same prizes without an increased reward. The most recent events’ daily prize buildings were awful! They were worth less than the new chapter I’m in so I won’t use any of them. Need more Farris Wheels and Genies. Also I’m really tired of always receiving mainly spell fragments for prizes in the spire since it costs a ton in resources or troops and it doesn’t feel worth the effort anymore - I’ll never be able to spend them all anyway.

Great But Some Issues. Ok so the game itself is really really fun but not too long ago I went to get back on the game and it wasn’t on my phone and I would never delete it, so I reinstalled it and tried to play, I did have my account linked to my Facebook and my email but it asked me to sign in so I did, my account was still there but all my progress was lost. I’ve tried everything I could think of to get my progress back but nothing is working, the game is amazing and really fun but I really don’t want to restart everything.

Enjoy it!. Enjoying! Very much enjoying building my “city“. And all the things… Enjoy the quests and fulfilling them. I like the way the buildings change every time you upgrade them, making it feel it’s interesting to do so. I also enjoy looking at my city and watching all the movement there. Makes the game much more enjoyable for me. My request for the developers, would you please, please, please change the opening screen so that it is not white? Please put it against a dark background? Is playing in the dark especially at night, that white intro screen really offends the eyes 😳

Needs improvement in a few areas. I love building my little elven city, but the time it takes to make resources is ridiculous. Everything uses them up in big numbers but you can’t produce in big numbers so it’s hours and hours and hours of making and collecting just to spend it all on one small thing. If things don’t update and become a little more efficient I’m just going to delete the app. I was excited about the game but now it’s more frustrating than anything.

Place offer tab. Tried to hold off doing the update on my iPad after seeing the update to the trader place offer tab on my iPhone. The previous version allowed for easy placing of materials and view of current materials. It was very intuitive, simple and time saving. The update has made this simple task much less intuitive with increased hassle. Seriously hoping the previous trade place offer tab is brought back. App version of this game is still lacking highly important functions needed for progression that are available on the non-app version. Hopefully these features become available in future patches.

Lack of consistency. There is definitely something wrong with you when nothing matches with a mobile app and play on my lap top! Your lack of support whenever I’ve had the miss fortune to contact support or lack of support to report a problem!!!!!!! Trying to get through this chapter is so frustrating and I left my other two cities to just let them to be and to the ever growing non-active cities. There’s no balance or logic in game play, your events are a hit and miss with crappy prizes and getting all the required upgrades or evolves. Not that you care know but I’m spending another dollar on this game that I used to love

Could be awesome. I really like this game, but it’s becoming too frustrating to play. It takes forever to gain land, which means I can’t advance because you need land to upgrade, gain resources, etc. It’s also impossible to rearrange...I’ve never seen this in any other game. Events are fun, but I can’t use anything I earn because, wait for it....no land. So I’m stuck forever trying to earn resources to negotiate because I can’t upgrade anything else to build up army without land. I would definitely give 5 stars and play more if we could have storage and obtaining land was more reasonable.

Have $? Go far! No $? Don’t bother.. The events are not based on your game level. You get a few "easy" provinces, then very quickly (and I mean VERY QUICKLY) you are on to Medium and Hard... with a huge map to go. It does not slowly increase. It gets unpassable without money very fast. Army can't beat the enemies it is supposed (240+ is supposed to beat 198 but it doesn't). Can't expand without using real money or completing provinces. Can't expand the items in your land without land expansion to help complete provinces. If you have a few hundred to spend here and there, this is the game for you. Your money will still not go far. They aren't cheap. If you don't have money, you will not get far and you will get tired of it fast.

Awesome pass time builder. I’m very happy that there is a game like this but is similar to forge of empires, but a PvE play type where you can help players nearby and help each other grow! Two suggestions that I could really like and keeping it in just straight up bothers me. So here it is! Let us, for the love of city strategic-ness, let us have a rotation option for both building, cultural, you name it. It just helps so much and relieves the pain to stop and rearrange everything. Talking about rearranging! Let us have an option to put buildings/culture decor in our storage. Maybe add a storage/warehouse building where we can upgrade and store buildings/decorations into without having to worry about selling them! That’s really all. Thanks for having the time to read this! Cheers, 🥂 Pete

Great till logging out. I loved the game, and played it a lot, but for about a month I did not log on. When I opened the app again it asked me to pick my race, even though I’d already built a sizable city as elves! The app has reset my city and after putting all that time into it already, starting again doesn’t feel worth it. This is also not the first time this has happened to me, but on a different device and player. I’m not going to continue playing because like I said, it just doesn’t feel worth it if I’m risking getting my entire world reset like this.

Awesome. Really fun game. I have yet to experience the online version, but I am sure that is great as well. I definitely like the social options, how you can chat and join a fellowship. This game kinda reminds me of Lord of the Rings. Also, can we get younger elves in here! Maybe even kids running around in the street? I also love love love how the developers respond to almost every review, bad and good. Once again, really awesome game! -MoonieBalloonie

Playable but buggy. I actually quite like this game: the music is spectacular, the resource management is nice-if not a little slow paced, but it’s a game you can leave on its own for a while and come back to later. It is pretty buggy though. The quests have stopped updating for me (stuck on “get trader” even though I have one) and some of the workshops I’ve put in are bugged out (won’t let me produce anything because it won’t even pull up the options) and it won’t even let me get rid of the bugged workshops so they sit and take up precious space. If the wrinkles were to be ironed out it would be a great peaceful game.

Game is fun but…. Game is fun but I don’t like the fact that you have to spend actual money to get further ahead as the games progresses into the more ‘elaborate’ quests. The same goes for the land expansions, with either having to fight with limited troops against high odds, or by having to use a lot of resources to just “scout” the province. And some of the resources you can’t get unless you have the way to make the items, which require more space, which require more expansion, etc…. Definitely getting frustrated and fed up.

My Favorite Game. I’ve played this game for 2 years now and still love it. If you love puzzles, challenges, playing on a team, this one is fun and you don’t get bored…lots of challenges. I also love the fact that you can play without spending cash…play free if you want. I do occasionally buy some diamonds (the premium currency) to support the company, but there are also ways to earn them. Again, great game!

Great game. Elvenar is one of the better city building games I’ve found. I like that no one can steal your progress, which helps new players. I also like that spending money does not give you a huge advantage and allow you to trample people who do not spend money. One downside is that some of the quests require you to waste resources to accomplish the quest AND THERE IS NO WAY TO SKIP PAST SOME OF THESE QUESTS. The rewards for many of the quests hardly seem worth the trouble to upset the running of your city.

Viewpoint. I’m new at this one. Just starting out but having fun with it so far and I seem to be making some progress for a beginner and since today is the 1st of January I’m probably going to stick with it ‘till next year and then some. I’ve been working on the Tribez about 2years goy a long way to go on that one too but I don’t give up easily so I’m most likely to be doing this one too for at least the same amount of time!

2 Stars now, generous - Before update 5 Stars. Hey, this game was fun, now I’m not so sure. The newest update requires a gigantic amount of resources to just keep playing. It seems designed to make you PAY to PLAY. I’ve been playing this game for almost 6 years, I have bought items to support the games maybe once a year. I began to play the game because I did NOT have to make purchases and I could still be successful. Developers, listen up please. This move is too much too fast! You will loose many players, please fix it.

Can’t do anything. i’ve been playing this game for about three or four days now. I thought it seemed a little restrictive at first, but thought maybe I wasn’t doing something right. So I poked around and looked, checked out some directions etc. Figured a couple of things out that I didn’t know but I still can’t do anything. They limit how much money you can bring in. They limit how far you can go to search for other places. They limit everything. I can’t collect any money I can’t buy anything I can’t expand I can’t fit anything if I do buy anything! Frustrating. I don’t even know why I’m even playing this game. There’s no drag to keep you playing there’s nothing for free to keep you doing things. Probably delete soon

New to this. I’m new to this game. It takes patience and it is complex, so if you are looking for something that is way beyond match-3 games and requires strategy and a lot of time, look here. The graphics are lush and beautiful, and the game design is amazing - with so many facets to it to keep your interest for months. I really like the way the game rewards cooperation with its trading system. That is a refreshing departure from the other RPGs out there that are more about individual accomplishments. I’m still pretty new but liking what I see so far… recommended!

Poor Customer Support. Each interaction I’ve had with their customer support got worse. Issues are bound to happen with mobile games and I think most understand this. Each time the support team said that since it’s a widespread issue, they won’t do anything. My last interaction was because a building disappeared from my city when I moved it. Having buildings disappear is already frustrating, especially in this game where it can take a week to build/upgrade one at later levels. Having customer support tell you they don’t do anything unless it’s a building you bought with real money and then try to say I was lying about the incident was enough for me to quit the game.

Can’t fight manually but otherwise, it’s the same as the online version. The mobile version of Elvenar is the same in every way that I can see except that when you solve an encounter through battle, you can’t manually coordinate the attack. You just choose your squads. For those who don’t know Elvenar. It’s pretty fun. There’s definitely some strategy involved but not too much. Mostly, you have to keep different aspects of the game - population, production, land, culture, etc. in balance. There are also lots of optional things you can do - tournaments, fellowships, the spire! It’s a fun community with a variety of approaches. Some people are really competitive, others are more relaxed.

Done playing... they don’t make it easy to expand. I’m pretty much done with this game! It was enjoyable in the beginning and now it’s just frustrating. They don’t make it easy to expand your territory! If you need to build a workshop, you need more culture, if you don’t need culture, you need people so you need more houses. By the time you go through the hoops of getting more culture, more houses, and more training areas, you have run out of room to build the dang workshop you just wanted to build in the beginning. These workshops also don’t produce enough product to keep moving forward unless you have the space to build 4 -5 of them. Looks like I’ll keep looking for a nice, enjoyable, easy, fun game.

Good game but boring players. The game play is nice, graphics are beautiful, events add interest. The only problem I’ve ran into the fellowships are stagnate or have crazy folks. While the crazies are entertaining sometimes their banter gets boring (nothing offensive that I’ve read). Seems like many people sign up, then don’t return. So it seems that there is no one to talk to, game play with or do events together. Tried to make a fellowship. Invited people everyday but only 1 person joined. If I could find the active players I think I’d enjoy the game so much more.
