It's just checkers. Some people don't know how checkers is played, in traditional checkers if you have a move that takes an opponents piece you have to move it there, in the same way that during a check in chess you must move your king or protect it with something. And yes the game opens as an image sometimes but that's just a bug that'll be fixed soon, no reason not to download this

Is this a Joke 😐?. Me and my girl wanted to play checkers. I’m a world champion and I wanted to impress her with my skills, but guess what? When I went to make the first move the game froze, when my girl went to make the first move the game froze…are you serious apple? A multi billion dollar company and me and my girl can’t play checkers?? Do better…

Give us options. You should give us options on if we want to jump or not in like settings or something

THERE MANY CHECKERS VARIATIONS…. “American Pool” checkers what most of us in the U.S. grew playing and our version didn’t require “Forced Captures” which means if you can jump 1 or 2, and so on, of your opponent’s pieces, you MUST do so….there are atleast 15-20+ variations of checkers with rule changes like this that I know of and probably more…so if you choose to play by these rules, thats fine, but there are MANY people around the world who do NOT recognize these rules, but it’s personal preference and the rules you follow doesn’t mean everyone has to follow them. For an example, in the U.S. we drive on the right side of the road….but in other countries they drive on the left side of the road so it’s your responsibility if you visit a country to make sure you drive on the correct side…NO 1 side is better than the other….by the way though….Forced captures do suck…I prefer to have FULL control of ALL of my pieces….just saying!

For those complaining about jumps.. Here is an excerpt from the American Checkers Association rule 1.20 1.20 - All capturing moves are compulsory, whether offered actively or passively. This adds strategy because you can force your opponent to jump and set up more complex counters because of it. Learn the rules of the game before you complain.

Don't Bother Downloading. Saving you the trouble don't bother with it. Me and my friend try playing this, when I send it to my friend he said that he can't play and that it's just a Image. How are we suppose play like that? We both have the iOS 10 until they fix it it's best to not download it. I'll give it another shot over time when all iOS 10 bugs have been fix if it is a bug

Breaks the rules-don't bother. If you CAN jump, you MUST jump. Don't bother with this game if you want to strategize.

Music. I like it a lot. Fun game to play. Two things i dont like is the fact that it forces me to make moves sometimes. That i think is official checker rules though so whatever... the one thing that needs to be fixed is the fact it pauses music because that is completely unnecessary.

Not real checkers. They need to come out with the ACTUAL version of checkers, where you get to chose whether or not you want to jump your opponent's piece. Not where you're forced to make a move according to your opponent. I deleted it

Not working. Sent a game, when my friend opens it, it's just an image. When she starts it, it's an interactive game. I'm on 6s, she's on 5se. IOS 10 is having some bugs

Needs work. Good game, needs work, turns off music when open

The Game is Fun But Has Flaws. I like the game it's fun and it works but the game forces you to make certain checker moves that's wrong that's it how checkers works for instance if there is a place where you can jump there pawn it forces you to make that move you can't move any other pieces

ONE ISSUE, EASY TO FIX. Only thing I'm having an issue with is that whenever I open up the game to make a move, the music I'm listening to pauses and stops playing. I believe this could be an easy fix in an update.

Don't download it. I only gave it one star because you have to select a star. DONT DOWNLOAD IT... I downloaded it and don't see it on my screen but it says I purchased it

"Must jump" is the rule. Still learning the app, but for all those who complain about the "must jump" rule, that IS the rule in checkers!

Not working on my phone. Works on my daughters iPad, but tapping the game causes the app to open in Messages, zooms, then goes to blank screen in the Message pane. I can close the app pane and go back to messages without issue

Audio issue. Should have audio ducking enabled. No other iMessage apps I use kill background audio. I listen to music and Podcasts all the time and having them cut out is a nuisance.

Does Not Work. I have not been able to complete the game I was playing with a friend because our turns would not be recorded and instead we ended up in a loop where it was the other person's turn but they wouldn't be able to play it, instead being prompted to "Resend Move"
