LittleBigCup??. Two words sum up this game: charming & addictive. The art style is really reminiscent of LittleBigPlanet and the gameplay is almost as simplistic. Though the overall gameplay is decidedly different. The premise is your character is in a tea cup and you have to jump to get from platform to platform while collecting sugar cubes and avoiding deadly traps. I haven't quite figured out what the overall story is but that hasn't hindered this game at all for me. My only complaint is that it's too short. I made it through all 40 levels in just a few hours. If this had more levels and maybe even a level editor and server to upload user-made levels, I could see this game becoming the iOS version of LBP. Very nicely done but I wish there was more to it.

Finally!. I've been waiting for the game for a long time. Chillingo has done it again. The graphics are very detailed. Gameplay is a lot of fun. Great deal for 99 cents. Get it!

Update. This game is a classic on my iDevices. The update, while the graphics aren't as crisp on my Air as I'd like them to be, is a welcome fit on the latest iOS. Hopefully, the graphics will be amped up soon in the next iteration.

How do you beat.... I can't beat the 5th level in the first world? But I give the game a . So cute and so much fun, I wish everyone loved this game and had it!

My favorite iPhone game. The only times I put this game down was when I had a work deadline to meet, the baby was crying, or I just needed to figure out a new strategy after dying for the 87th time against those 4 cannons and barrels on the last level! This is the most fun I've had playing a platformer on iOS. Chillingo understands the limitations of the device and uses a simple control scheme. That is what I believe to be one of the keys to an iOS game's success -- KISS on the controls. It's why even a complex and beautiful game like Mirror's Edge worked so well. I only have two complaints about this game: 1) I need more levels yesterday! 2) There is an achievement for playing the credits level, but I can't find that level. I have every other achievement (14/15) and so I would think I would have run into the credit's level by now... Love it!

Amazing but give us more. Amazing game but you really need to add more levels, I finished it so quickly and am constantly looking for an update. I need more Storm in a Teacup - I can't get enough.

Great platformer but needs to be easier!. I really like the concept! A lot of replay value with leaderboards and achievements! *I feel the graphics don't fully support the retina display. They need to be sharper! **The movement controls are too far apart. I think the arrows should be closer together or give the option to space them how you want.

Great platformer. Best platformer I've played on ios yet. Don't let the cutesy graphics fool you, this gets pretty challenging. Good controls and nicely designed levels. The mechanics are a bit different than a standard platformer, so don't let that throw you off if it feels weird at first. It's worth getting used to. Finished all 40 regular levels, the 10 bonus levels, and the challenge levels. There are endless "survival" levels too but they seemed kind of pointless. It's not super short, especially if you collect all the sugar cubes and find the hidden stickers, but it's not super long either and I'd love new levels.

Love it!!!. I'm totally addicted to this game! It's really challenging on some levels but tons of fun... It's really the best! I also really love the bonus levels, but I beat those faster than the regular levels... And the challenge levels are awesome as well! Only thing I have to say to the developers is great job, love your game and PLEASE ADD MORE LEVELS SOON! :)

Excellent but flawed. Great game with gorgeous graphics. The controls are spot on and give the levels just the right amount of challenge. Never gets frustrating because the levels are short enough to allow quick play sessions. It was rather short with about 2-3 hours of total playtime. The later levels provide some serious challenge but it never got too difficult. The unlockable survival modes are interesting but shallow. There isn't much of a compelling reason to play them repeatedly. The main flaw is the lack of story. The game never gives you a reason as to why or what you are doing. Some simple cut scenes would help to tie it all together. Overall it's recommended for fans of 2d platformers.

Frozen. You shouldn't buy this because every time I try to play it it freezes up and it won't let me play so it is a general waste of money

Sleeper Hit!!!. What a great game. Environments are extremely vivid and lush. Controls a great as well. If you can only play one game this year, play this one! For 99 cents you can't go wrong. Do yourself a favor and get it ASAP!!! Update: finished 40 levels quite fast. Now hoping for the update to add extra levels! Going to replay again to get a perfect score!

Controls. The controls are way to close together. I don't know about the iPod version, but the iPad version is really difficult to control. They are too close together so I end up going the wrong way and dying. If you fix the controls i will give it 5 stars.

Yep, one of the best. Games available on this platform. Action, puzzling, quality art/graphics, this is very well done. Paid for this, no regrets, its a lot of fun and a great value. This offers a lot more challenge than it looks, and serious and satisfying gameplay.

Cute and Challenging.... Great game, cute graphics, nice music and challenging all to boot. Some of the levels are a little difficult, but DON'T give up! Only thing that I would like added would be a few more sounds for the main character. That would put this one over the top. Get it!

Strangely addicting!. This a sort of like Mario in a teacup. But it's a hugely addicting game and so unique and so much more fun than most other games. The controls are a bit challenging (at least for me) but that in no way made me hesitate to buy this game. TOTALLY WORTH IT. 

Awesome. I love this game. The levels are short so you can play anywhere. The graphics are imaginative and some of the levels are hard but I kept at it and managed to get through them. They have already added ten bonus levels and that is appreciated. Addictive fun!

Just bought. Haven't got the best opinion since I haven't played through yet- I know I'm going to be sucked in. Just want the logo to go back to the original - sounds picky, but it was a way better design and should be changed back on the next update. Good work on everything else!!!!

Fabulously challenging. This game is awesome. It's just short of being legendary in my opinion. Very fun, challenging in the best ways. The graphics are creative and amazingly detailed. I was adverse to $3 price, but it's worth every penny. If this game was a bit longer, maybe with some bosses and more of a story, it could be epic. Either way, very fun way to stay busy at work lol.

Definitely grew on me.... I was going to give this 3 stars, but I realized that was because I kept wanting it to be LittleBigPlanet...and it's not. For what it is, this is a wonderful and creative game. The graphics and animations are fun, the gameplay is challenging at times but rewarding, and the scenery changes. Solid 4 stars from me!

I honestly. Thought(even while having read the description) that storm was going to have some kind of lightning bolt haha but the music is pretty chill, graphics look sleek, and it is a challenging game. Great app

Little Big Planet for the iPhone!. This game takes a few components of Little Big Planet and rolls them up into an app for the iPhone. Level design is composed of "stickers" and quirky machinations, which you can collect the stickers throughout the game to customize your character. The way your character dies is reminiscent of SackBoy biting the dust, and level components explode in a similar manner as LBP's recurring obstacles. Even level completion is akin to LBP. With all the likenesses between the two, this is still a solid game that stands firmly on its own two feet. The platforming is simple to grasp, the level designs can be challenging, and the controls leave nothing to be desired. Definitely worthwhile!

Fantastic!. This is an absolutely phenomenal game. Not nearly enough people are talking about it. If I didn't happen to read David Jaffe's (creator if God of War and Twisted Metal) games of 2011 list I wouldn't know about it either. Chillingo should get the word out regarding this title. It's fascinating!

These reviews are overrated.. This game is just ok. Seriously I dont understand how all these people are going bat crazy over it. It isnt anything special or something you havent seen before. I kinda want my money back.

Fantastic platformer. I consider myself a hardcore gamer by definition but this game shouldn't be missed by hardcore players or casual players. Great graphics, gameplay, and controls. I have been looking for that "go to" platformer for my iPad and I think I've definitely found it!

Don't bother.. It's just a simplistic side scrolling jumping game with very little depth or replayability. It's like Mario for kindergarteners. The gushing reviews all appear faked or paid for by the developers. If you're over 5 years old, there's better things to do with a dollar.

Cool game.. Physics are a little too floating. Also the the buttons are too small. Most of the time you die by missing the buttons.

Great. Chillingo is a great company at making games, but a terrible one at UPDATING them. Anyways, great game, love it, very fun, GET IT! Also, if it crashes for you, just restart your device. I did and it worked....

CONTROLS. I love this game, but I feel like the left and right controls are too close together, and sometimes they don't work! Great buy though.

Ehe. Fun levels but all were very short and not very challenging. No sound effects?? Music was two snippets of songs on repeat, one didn't loop well (they will get stuck in your head and not in a good way). I dig the art-style idea, but don't get how it all fits together, definitely don't get the being in a teacup thing and I don't get how having it like that is "so creative" as another reviewer put it - I just find it strange.

This game is amazing, it has great grahphics, it passes the time and is puzzling (sometimes too puzzling) Don't listen to those reviewers who are so picky about this game when no games are perfect (and if you only have 99 cents left get beyond ynth it is really fun it's got great graphics and the little bug is cute, it is my favorite game on my ipod  (like this little pig) I like pigs 

Lame!. I want my money back! Apple - why the hell don't you have a 15 minute refund window? Ever heard of customer service? Part of it consists of letting people return something if they are not happy with it. It's allowed at your physical stores, but not on the AppStore? Come on........

It's pretty fun :). Pros: - A great time killer - inexpensive with lots of replay value - Fun platformer that's easy to pick up and play Cons: - Can't customize the controller layout, I prefer my buttons not at the bottom of the screen - not iPad 2 "friendly", when using the smart cover raising the iPad 2 up, running this game forces it upside down so you have to hold it. Devs need to add rotation detection so we aren't forced to play in one landscape direction only. - No virtual analog stick option. Would go great with the Fling controller. Great for kids and adults alike, definitely provides a fun challenge with excellent replay value.

A sadist's delight!. Spinning saw blades, spike plates, lava pits, and toxic gas clouds. This game has a thousand ways to die, all of them gruesome and visceral. Every time Storm is torn into a spray of human confetti by one of his brother's diabolical death traps, your arm hair will stand on end with delight. Four bloody skulls out of five!

THE STORM IS FINALLY HERE AND IT'S SO DARN CUTE!. I have been waiting for this game for sooooo long once I first heard about it on their website almost a year ago and I must say it's even better than I expected. First of all I'm blown away that this game is only 99 cents and this is for the iPhone,iPod and iPad. Now that right there is a great reason to pick this game up. If you want more you know it's a great game if Chillingo and Cobra Mobile are behind it, it has tons of levels and the gameplay is simply stunning. As you would expect from veteran mobile developer Cobra Mobile, Storm in a Teacup is visually impressive. The backgrounds are packed with detail, and the levels ooze charm and style in equal measure. Truth be told, it is quite easy to take your eyes of the main character just to look around you, resulting in an untimely death. While Storm in a Teacup is undeniably a platformer, Cobra recognises touch controls are far from suitable for tricky games. For this reason, the main character doesn't jump, it glides for a second or so, which is much more forgiving. Timing is still essential for surviving the later tricky moments but it ensures you will be blaming yourself for mistakes, not the iPad. To keep things interesting there are various items to collect, and most will take some finding. You don't need to complete them to progress but if you come back there is more to see. Aside from jumping your way through the game, there are random mini-games dotted about. Shooting targets with a cannon, finding keys to open doors and more attempt to keep you from tiring of the core gameplay. Not that you should, as although the theme remains similiar through the game's many levels, curiosity and varied backdrops keeps you hooked. It is hard not to love Storm in a Teacup. It looks and feels like a great platformer, and whilst not revolutionary, it is clear Cobra Mobile understands the platform. Simple to pick-up and easy on the eye, we find it hard to fault this magical title. I'm really looking forward to future updates with more wacky levels, characters, Game Center achievements and so much more. The iPad could have customizable controls for those with smaller fingers but overall sweet stuff. Thank you so much for this game and keep up the fantastic work!
